Yesterday I finished moving to Firefox so here's some extensions. First, the serious ones:
AdBlocker Ultimate: Your run-of-the-mill adblock. I chose this one instead of uBlock since I'm fairly sure uBlock was giving me problems on Chrome and I don't wanna repeat the experience. You can use the "Block Element" feature to get rid of all the new annoying Tumblr features, it's easy.
ClearURLS: Removes tracking from URLs.
Decentraleyes: Protects from tracking & targeted ads.
DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials: More tracking, cookies, etc etc protection.
Privacy Badger: More tracking protection.
Shinigami Eyes: Marks transphobic blogs/accounts/profiles red.
Alright now some less serious, more fun ones:
Enhancer For Youtube: Gives you a highly customizable utility bar with features like simple screenshotting, pop-up players, volume enhancement, & other things. Also has the ability to alter your YouTube theme and toggle settings that'll stop pesky YouTube tabs from automatically starting.
Firefox Color: Custom themes for dummies! It doesn't customize everything but it gets pretty close. I think this would be a good tool for folks who need high contrast themes and can't find pre-made ones suited to their needs. Also comes with a few pre-made themes you can either use or use as bases.
LanguageTool: A spelling and grammar checking program that works in many languages and on all websites!
OneTab: Turns tabs into lists. Fantastic for when you're knee-deep in hyperfixation/special interest territory, or even for research.
Turbo Download Manager: Helps with frustrating downloads.
Video DownloadHelper: Gives you options to download any video from your tabs in multiple formats. Also has the option to download and convert to another format. [Update: This one requires a paid subscription AND externally downloaded program for these features. Nevermind.]
XKit Rewritten: Most Tumblr users already know of xKit but I'm including the link nonetheless! This kit makes Tumblr on PC enjoyable.
Custom Scrollbars: Makes your scrollbar pretty :)
Also, Firefox has their own page of useful add-ons, like Facebook containers and note-taking extensions. There's also a ton of themes. I don't think any of these are advertised on the main add-ons page? So I might as well mention it.
cheers :)

hey there, i know this blog is slow and shit with content, i don't really have a lot going on and the ball is hard to get rolling again, but if you no longer want to interact with me with this slower pace, soft/hard block me so i'm no longer following you. i follow people cause i still wanna interact with them, even with my time being very slow. if you don't want to, that's your choice but i will hard block upon discovering that.

9, 30, 32, and 37 please :)
9. tell a story about your childhood
When I was i think 9 or 10, I had a neighbor who every single weekend we would walk a mile to the grocery store together, buy boxed cake mix and frosting and decorations, and walk back to their house. We would then bake a cake and chat the whole time (also sidebar, a lot of those cakes wound up being rainbow bc we were both baby egg gays but that’s beside the point). Anyways, one of these times, maybe like a year or two into this tradition idk we started jokingly talking about creating our own nation to secede from the US. We called it Rekelmoria and wrote a constitution in comic sans and designed a flag and in a drawer somewhere I am so sure I still have a shirt with that flag printed on it 😂 anyways who wants to join rekelmoria and form our own country I’m like 70% sure our national anthem was a shitty cover of thrift shop by Macklemore
30. what’s one thing that never fails to make you happy/happier?
Him :)
32. how many tabs do you have open right now?
On my phone? Easily 1000+
On my computer? I think 8-9 currently? I had to close most of my tabs for my computer to handle finishing the last chapter of rawnsyf because of the size of the document and the amount of edits in it 😂
37. share a secret
Hmmmmm I don’t feel like I have many secrets honestly 😭 I love photos and videos of dogs but they kind of stress me out irl? I don’t think I’ll ever 100% get over my middle school crush on my best friend? Idk

So a few years ago I installed Free Adblock Browser and it was never perfect but it suited its purpose. Now tho, ads are slipping through all the time, the homepage is covered in crap I can't seem to remove, and the search bar randomly puts in suggestions for sites I would never in a million years use and they jump up while I'm already in the middle of tapping on something else, so i go to check my emails and suddenly I'm on a page for some crypto bullshit.
All of this to say I need somebody to tell me if they know of any mobile browsers that suit the purpose of being a regular browser with adblock features, not a whole lot of extensions because my phone is a samsung a21s with not a whole lot of memory.
