Oh it does. Nancy’s hand shakes violently as she puts to gun to Robin’s chin. She’s not sure if it’s anger or fear—probably both. But it stills. Robin looks at her so earnestly, so brokenly, wrapping one hand firmly around Nancy’s wrist. And as she guides the barrel to her own chest—right over her beating heart—Nancy’s trembling stills.

She can hear it, the steady thump-thump of Robin’s heart. It’s not panicked. It’s calm. Nancy doesn’t know whether she should be angry or upset by that. Her grip on the gun tightens to that white knuckled grip as she makes her decision.

She knows what she has to do.

nancy timing for how long she can drink robins blood before robin passes out and then setting an alarm for next time so robin won’t lose all her blood

robin was the one who suggested it too like. "nance. why don't you just time it next time?"

by this point in time i imagine that nancy's got more of a handle on the vampirism but she still craves robin's blood more than anything. surprisingly, the timer works. and robin (once the initial shock of being bitten wears off) actually remembers to tap nancy or let her know that she's feeling woozy.

(that takes awhile though, and through a lot of trial and error too. robin's brain freaks out over 'oh my god oh my god nancy is drinking my blood holy shit' and also the blood loss clouding her brain. nancy too, because every time she bites robin the vampire instincts kick in and she doesn't have good control over herself as it is).
