Do you know what gets me when I sit and think about it… Russell Adler is such a flash in the pan, he’s such hidden gem. I don’t think Treyarch (or whatever god send genius members of staff im sorry I don’t know the details) actually understood what they did when they created this character. If they truly understood they would *not* be resigning him to be destined to just be an obscure and niche character in one singular title. They don’t understand how special and unique he is as a character, they don’t understand the potential, how far they could actually take him, the storylines and backstories and adventures they could write for him, oh my god?

He deserves Mason and Woods or fuck it even Ghost/Price/Soap type status and recognition, if they placed him consistently in a series of titles he’d become literally the hallmark character of the franchise. There’s so many things about his character that means he appeals to so many different people, he’s so cool, he’s just so profoundly bad ass that’s enough to capture peoples attention, but the complexity on top of that?? He has something that’s so hard to capture. He would be a new video game icon, not just in cod but in gaming in its entirety, im so certain.

Thats even the reason why I used to avoid to adress the "fanbase" and reply to other posts, even the past few weeks when I'm doing it I feel like I broke my principals, but I guess I need all the energy to finish the video and actually come to a conclusion that will redeem us all, the soul eaten by this stupid media franchise, in a way that is "authentic", even if only one person will get it.

“You can be a part of that life too you know?!” It’s not the closest to a confession you’ve ever gotten from Ace, but it’s certainly the loudest.

See just saying Ace wants you to be a part of his life isn't really anything new. More explicit than "it'll be easier to take care of a certain magicless someone" sure but you could brush that off. But when Ace gets worked up about something he starts talking. And he tends to tell the truth when he does. So that's why I had him go on that little rant he does, he loves Yuu so much he wants to make sure they're taken care of, if that meant going home then he had to let you go... but now that it means you have to stay that means he has to make sure you know in no uncertain terms you're not alone. You have someone who cares about you more than he fully understands. It drives him crazy so he says what he thinks can be passed off as normal friend stuff (who wouldn't be there for their bros???) but the way he says it makes it clear about how he feels. It is sort of a proposal in a way, he doesn't see a day of his future without you in it but well. Ace can be a bit stupid sometimes. I don't think he fully realizes the implications of what he's suggesting... he just wants to live in the same house as you, go on long walks, maybe do some fun stuff every once in a while (without anyone else but he just says Deuce because he's easy to make fun of), and hey in order to do that he's got to do boring stuff too. He liked going grocery shopping with you, how lame.
