Cosmo and Wanda have seen humans at their best. They've seen humans at their worst. They've seen anything and everything that they've gone numb and used to what humans get up to.

But nothing's shaken them quite like Timmy's case did. Nothing has ever made a Fairy feel such strong human emotions than what Timmy made them feel, on that one particular night.

johnny is the perfect father, he's an active father despite being deployed often and is always there for her. he spends so much time with his daughter while on leave, usually out at the beach or perhaps even at the park with his toddler daughter. most kids don't have a thick and noticeable accent like his daughter, and it makes her stand out from the crowd, brightening peoples days with her laughter. god, people can't help themselves from melting and laughing at her cute, scottish accent. it's not often you see a proper scottish baby.

you absolutely love to send johnny videos of his daughter while he's on deployment, whether you're her mother or not, or even just a babysitter for her. johnny adores waking up everyday to a new video along with a somewhat coherent and loving message from his beloved sweetheart in scotland, in her princess dress, or even a photo of her new drawing of her and her daddy.

he can't help but laugh uncontrollably at the videos that you send him. it pulls at his heartstrings and he can't wait to have her back in his strong arms once again, cradling her and keeping her safe until she's fast asleep with the sound of her heartbeat and shallow breathing loud enough for johnny to listen to while he's attempting to catch some rest after months without his favourite girl.

he can't help himself from showing the rest of his trusted team these videos, especially price, who kills himself laughing at johnny's sweet daughter. johny watches them whenever he can, replaying them constantly and trying to arrange a time where he's able to call you and speak with his daughter while on deployment, more preferably through facetime so he can admire the glittery makeup and fancy face paint all over her adorable little face.

i think genuinely one of the moments in the novel that really stuck to me, was a quiet small moment between kdj, when kdj was talking to lgy about his sponsor and he raises his hand- and lgy flinches. So kdj holds his hand until he stops trembling.

like that moment is just SO TENDER and quietly devastating. Because kdj loves lgy. But he also sees himself in lgy. And he can't love that reflection of himself.

Yet he still does love lgy sm, and when he raises his hand and realizes lgy's fear, he just holds his hand in silent comfort.. and just sits there with him. until he's able to calm down again, kdj just sits with him.

I cannot understate how much I Hate Angel is words say “I’m over 200 and you’re 16 Buffy we can’t be together” but his body language says “oh Buffy I desire you so carnally it makes me bloodthirsty” she’s SIXTEEN shut her the fuck down, swiftly and without room for argument.

The fact that in this episode (s2e5) we’re definitely supposed to see the frat boys (seniors in college) as bad guys for preying on high school girls but Not Angel? When he’s leading her on like that? It’s Genuinely so easy (from experience) to say “no. I’m too old for you.” And not flirt with children.

I genuinely believe that if The Ghoul/Cooper wasn't a father and didn't have a family, a lot more of the fandom would be falling over Ghoulcy. Because then it would just be a morally grey immortal with a human, and those pairings are fairly common and accepted. From gods and elves and vampires, it's been done before and people eat it up. Even the age gap becomes negligible to people who might usually make a big deal about it because they understand that though the immortal is hundreds/thousands of years old, the human they're with is an adult (usually). But because The Ghoul is a dad, it colors their view of his relationships with people. They presume that the only way he'll interact with Lucy is in the fatherly sense and so they default the relationship to be parental. Anything else beyond the parameters of familial is deemed immoral and wrong. So what normally would've been an equally-competing alternative ship to Vaultknight, has turned into a scorned "morally bad" ship that's even allegedly ruining the fandom to some people.

Me, an intellectual: SJM foreshadowed the blood duel in regard to Lucien because he will use it to save Elain’s life, likely from Beron, because this time he will be powerful enough to stop Jesminda’s fate from repeating itself again.

I’m thinking about Gwen and Elyan tonight folks….. they were siblings, finally reunited after years, reconciled, and obviously cared for one another very much and there were hardly any on-screen interactions between them save for episodes where either one of them was in danger of some kind. Sigh.

I also know for a fact their exchanges would’ve been hilarious because it seemed that Elyan was the one person that knew how to annoy Gwen at light-speed LOL

s1ep13 merlin, believing he will be dead by morning, goes to say goodbye to arthur and he leans against the door of arthur’s chambers and watches the glow of the fire light his skin golden, full of color and life that it had been sorely lacking while the prince was injured. he stares at the softness of arthur’s features and pressed the line of his profile into memory for while he passes he will wish for nothing more than to see arthur one last time, his smile and blue eyes one last comfort before he passes on to the otherworld. arthur turns to stare at him and frowns at whatever expression merlin is making. the prince kicks a weak foot out at the chair next to him and motions for merlin to join him. merlin slowly shuffles over but ignores the chair completely. he stops in front of arthur who watches him with wary confusion. the tug of his lips and the furrow of his brow sickeningly endearing and merlin allows himself to be selfish and leans down to press his lips to arthur’s.

the prince is sat frozen under merlin’s touch but he can’t find himself to care much about that, not when he finally knows what it feels like to kiss arthur. he hopes that will be his last sensation before the ever consuming nothing, he hopes he will close his eyes one last time only to find arthur grinning at him and calling him an idiot before leading him into paradise where he can watch arthur smile, hear him laugh, and feel his touch for all eternity. he pulls away and leaves before arthur can gather himself to form a response, dropping the letter explaining everything on the table as he passes. so he allows himself to be selfish twice - to take from arthur and to give, to let himself know what is feels to kiss the man, to embrace his feelings for him, and to have the man know him for who he truly is. he wishes to pass peacefully with no regrets. somehow that revolves entirely around arthur.

only…he survives the whole ordeal and yeah has a gnarly scar on his chest but is otherwise fit to return to his duties. which include taking care of the prince. of arthur. who he kissed. and who most definitely know about his magic by now. yeesh.

While I think, in some way, Rhaenyra does care for Baela and Rhaena....if I had to point out a motherly figure for them that could pose as someone stepping in Laena's place, Rhaenyra would not be it.

that she actively makes choices to harm other women because of jealousy and envy and the greed deep in her bones because submitting to suffering didn’t get her what those women fight to grasp for themselves.

she is absolutely a victim, in show.

that doesn’t change that she abused rhaenyra and her children, her own son, most likely helaena given how she flinches every time her mother touches her, and is actively weaponizing the patriarchy of westeros against other women- rhaenyra primarily, but also mysaria and dyana.

she isn’t the moral, righteous force of good that even she thinks she is, she’s a wounded woman directing all of the rot, pain, and fury inside her at the wrong people and forces.
