‘Macario’, este es el significado la cinta que inmortalizó a Ignacio López Tarso

“¡Bienvenido a mi gruta, Macario!”, es una de las frases más conocidas de la película que convirtió a Ignacio López Tarso en una estrella de fama mundial y que, con el reciente fallecimiento del actor, es recordada por su relación con la muerte. 

Con 98 años de edad, el famoso histrión del Cine de Oro mexicano falleció este 11 de marzo, dejando un gran vacío en la escena artística nacional e internacional, quienes lo vieron brillar en la cinta ‘Macario’ dirigida por Roberto Gavaldón en 1960 y que fue la primera cinta mexicana en tener un lugar en los Premios Oscar. 

El largometraje está inspirado en la novela homónima de B. Traven, quien tomó como referencia el cuento “La muerte madrina” de los Hermanos Grimm, y esta es la importante reflexión que nos deja sobre vida y la muerte. 

Ignacio López Tarso quedó en la memoria nacional por su interpretación en “Macario”

“Macario, un aldeano sumamente pobre, desea comerse él solo un pavo, el cual comparte con la Muerte, quien, como agradecimiento, le entrega un agua curativa con la que hará milagros.”, es la argumento principal que sigue la cinta. 

En la historia, que cuenta con un inesperado giro hacia el final, nuestro protagonista vive obsesionado con la idea de poder comer todo un banquete el solo, puesto que siempre ha vivido en la miseria, por lo que su esposa se roba un guajolote para poder cumplirlo.

Sin embargo, Macario y su familia no esperarían que esto los llevaría a enfrentarse con un destino del que, aunque él lo intenta, no se puede escapar: la muerte. 

Esta es la reflexión que nos deja “Macario”

El largometraje aclamado por su impecable fotografía, es una pieza imperdible del cine nacional, no solo por desarrollarse durante la época virreinal durante el Día de Muertos, sino por retratar la cosmovisión que existe en la cultura mexicana sobre ese plazo que nos llega a todos en algún momento. 

“Hay que tener consideraciones con los muertos, porque pasamos mucho más tiempo muertos que vivos.”, es una de las reflexiones que La muerte le dice a Macario.

Representadas con velas en una cueva, la historia nos recuerda la débil línea que hay entre la vida y la muerte, lo frágil que puede ser la condición humana y que, sin importar cuanto se intente, el final de nuestra vida es algo que pasará inevitablemente.

“Esta es la humanidad. Aquí ves arder las vidas tranquilamente. A veces soplan los vientos de la guerra, los de la peste y las vidas se apagan por millares al azar.”, se expresa en el filme.

Esta emblemático relato fue una de las más importantes de Ignacio López Tarso, y consciente de su importancia cultural siguió representando con entusiasmo en eventos como el “Festival de Vida y Muerte”, donde dio vida de nuevo a su legendario personaje.

Alright, fine. I’ll talk about Wish.

Here are some ideas I had for how I’d redo it. It might be bad, but I’ll give it a shot. Here goes nothing…

- I would've changed the title to something like The Wishing Star, or The Kingdom of Wishes, or Asha and the Wishing Star. 

- I'd keep the 2D-3D animation blend. I can see why they'd want to go with that. It's like, a nod to all eras of the Disney studio's animation. But, it would look better however possible. 

- I think we should redo the entire soundtrack to make it way less pop. The best movies from the studio have Broadway-ish soundtracks. I've read on YouTube comments and such that it's better for musicals to focus on the story and themes and not pop replay-ability. Not every song needs to peak on the charts like We Don't Talk About Bruno did. (We can probably keep At All Costs, though.) 

- For the soundtrack, I would have taken a similar approach to the SpongeBob Musical, where each of the songs are from different songwriters they’ve worked with. Like, one song from Lin-Manuel, one from the Lopezes, one from Alan Menken, etc. As I saw in one comment, they could even bring in Elton John and Phil Collins. Another way I would’ve done it is have all of them collaborate on the soundtrack together. That would have been impactful. 

- Probably change the designs of the characters, the architecture and backgrounds of Rosas, and the music so that they better represent the Iberian peninsula/Andalusia. There's so much to work with from that area. Some of the characters' names can be changed to better fit the area, too. But I'm not from that area, nor am I of that heritage, so I'm not sure how that would be done. 

- The name of Rosas can also be changed so that it fits in with the theme of stars and wishes. I was thinking something along the lines of Estrellas. 

- What kind of a name is Magnificent? I thought of changing King Magnifico's name to something like King Maximilio. He can be called Maximilio the Magnificent (Maximilio el Magnifico). 

- I was thinking that Asha is his and Amaya's adoptive daughter. 

- The major supporting characters would be Star (as that shapeshifting humanoid being), Dahlia, and Sakina, who can be Asha's (biological) aunt.

- I'm not sure if Valentino would be there as well, honestly. 

- @annymation’s rewrite had the king and queen have a pet bobcat, and I think that's cool! I think they could have an Iberian lynx or something!

- I like the idea of Asha having a human friend group, and I understand basing them off of the 7 dwarves. While I've heard people say that there doesn't need to be so many of them, we could possibly make them all work. We've just gotta give them more recognizable character traits and more to do in the story. (Off-topic, but Bazeema looks like an OC I would make.) 

- I'd also keep the beginning of the movie having a storybook being opened and read from. But, what I think I'd want is for there to be some opening credits with a song, like in Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland. The prologue song can be about, well, starlight and wishing or whatever. 

- For the actual plot of the movie, and for Asha and Star's dynamic, I'd have it be pretty similar to these ideas because I have none of my own:

- My ideas aren't exactly like these, of course. They're, like, adjacent to these. Do you understand what I mean? 

- Anyways, Rosas (or whatever it's called) wasn't founded by Maximilio and Amaya. It's been there. They're just the current rulers of the place. It's painted as this happy, colorful place where all of your wishes can come true just like that. You can do anything or be anything you want to be. 

- I wouldn't make Asha pessimistic. I'd make it so that she's living idyllically in her kingdom, which, like I said, is marketed as the world's greatest kingdom or something. But then, she learns the hard truth about the way it's run when she hears of the people's untold suffering. 

- Sabino can be a poor old man that Asha meets, and he can be her very first encounter with someone who knows the truth about what's going on. 

- Basically, there's a false sense of equality and equal opportunity at play in this kingdom, and the rulers don't care about what the people want and won't do crap about the kingdom's issues. It's basically this, except it’s actually happening.

- So, when Star is summoned down, Asha hopes he'll be able to fix everything in a snap because her parents told her the stars were capable of anything. But, he can't do that. He, of course, helps her on her journey, and she challenges her parents, who aren't who they claim to be and all that. 

- A scene where Asha's friends and Sakina explain their wishes would probably be good.

- Maybe the rulers colonized the stars. Like, they exploited them and their power to only benefit themselves, and that has a really negative effect on them. So then maybe, when Asha wished on the stars, they saw it as a chance to save them, and so they sent down Star. 

- So Asha feels like her happiness is tainted because of what she knows now, but she keeps her mind open and tries to fight for a better future where all the people's wishes can come true.

- When the rulers are defeated and the stars are free, Star wants to stay with Asha because they've caught the feels for each other. It's kind of a Ponyo-like ending because Star has to give up his magic in order to do that. Maybe he could change his name to something like Aster or Esteban. 

- When he becomes human, he sends his magic up into the sky, and it takes the form of the wishing star. It's there to remind people that the stars will be there to guide you, and they'll help anyone in need.

- The theme I had in mind for this is like, No one’s wishes can really come true unless we’re all truly free to make them. In other words, don’t be greedy or ignorant and actually care about people.

"La madre"

Netflix acaba de estrenar "La madre", una película de acción y suspenso protagonizada por Jennifer Lopez y dirigida por Niki Caro. Desde el comienzo de este año, la plataforma estaba anunciando este film como una de sus apuestas más fuertes, pero lo cierto es que la crítica se ha visto decepcionada por esta propuesta y no me extraña 🤮

Ella es una asesina profesional que se vio obligada a alejarse de su bebé para protegerla. Ahora, después de pasar años en los bosques de Alaska, saldrá de su escondite para rescatarla

Lopez es la asesina y vengadora. A ella la acompañan Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci y Gael García Bernal.

La crítica no ha recibido positivamente la nueva propuesta de Netflix, que parece ser un despliegue vacío de secuencias de pelea y una exhibición de Lopez como celebridad totalmente desprendida del personaje.

Kiki Baento plays the titular role of Rosang Taba alongside Jojo Cayabyab, who plays Gobernador Heneral. AeN Mc (Emanuel lopez 17 de diciembre de 1991 ) Zona Sur Buenos Aires. Es un cantante de rap alternativo , su carrera de MC comenzo en el año 2009 , creando asi sus primeras letras  y ,grabando en un mp4  fue donde comenzaron sus primeras maquetas , a la edad de 17 años. Emanuel Lopez (Aen) comenzo a dar sus primeras rimas en el ambiente de la cultura hip hop . Glee «Once a week» Part II

-¿Es difícil vivir con ella? -La verdad es que no, cuando no colman mi paciencia es fantástico, pero cuando lo hacen, como ahora por ejemplo, quisiera arrojar a ambos por esa ventana… —contesto Kurt señalando hacia atrás por sobre su hombro, Blaine  miró también como si se imaginara a la dupla Lopez-Berry volando por los aires— ire a refrescarme un poco… tu puedes ir a poner un plato o dos… —agrego dándole un pequeño beso cuando paso por su lado camino al baño— pero no dejes que abusen de ti… ¿ok? -Ok… —respondió Blaine sonriendo mientras lo miraba caminar en diagonal hacia el baño, soltó un suspiro y camino los pasos que lo separaban de la mesa de comedor— chicas…—añadió sobándose las manos— en que puedo ser ultimo… -Vaya… miren quien dejo los arrumacos para ser útil para variar… —dijo Santana  mientras sacaba platos desde el gabinete respectivo— Berry, ¿qué crees que nuestro invitado podría hacer? —añadió mirando a Rachel. -Creo que ordenar los platos estaría bien… —contestó la chica mientras ponía condimentos al centro de la mesa con una mano y con la otra sostenía el guion de «Funny girl» -¿«Ordenar los platos»?… ¿estas bromeando conmigo Berry?, la primera noche que yo estuve en estas cenas de una vez a la semana  hasta me hicieron lavar los platos… —reclamo Santana mirando  a Rachel, -Se amable, esto es diferente… Blaine solo estará aquí hasta mañana, prácticamente es un invitado.. —insistió la chica pasando página al guión. -Si claro, un invitado que se acuesta con uno de los inquilinos… no te libraras de esto Anderson… —dijo Santana tomando todos los platos que había sacado del anaquel correspondiente— diviértete… —agregó poniéndoles en las manos a Blaine, acto  seguido le dio un par de pequeñas bofetadas en la cara y se sentó en el sofá más grande a ver televisión, Blaine la miro a ella y luego a Rachel que seguía concentrada en lo que leía y trato de decir lo que su prometido le había advertido, aquello de que no dejara que abusaran de él, pero prefirió guardar silencio y hacer lo que le pidieran, después de todo solo estaría ahí por 24 horas más.

-Y… Rachel… —dijo dejando toda la vajilla en una esquina de la mesa— ¿cómo van los ensayos? -Bien… no creerás lo increíble que es estar en un escenario de Broadway, DE BROADWAY… siento que estoy en un sueño del que no quiero despertar nunca… -Que bueno, Kurt me decía que… -Y tampoco creerás que todo el teatro esta revolucionado  porque yo, una estudiante de primer año de NYADA haya conseguido el protagónico, así… —agregó chasqueando sus dedos. -¿No tuviste que ir a un «call back» con otras actrices?.. —se atrevió a  decir Blaine arrepintiéndose al segundo, esbozo una pequeña sonrisa nerviosa y se concentró en los dos platos que le faltaban por colocar. -Obvio que si… pero tuve que competir con otras dos actrices, mucho más experimentadas y mucho más… -Talentosas Berry, la palabra que buscas es talentosa… —intervino Santana señalándola con el control remoto del televisor. -No, no es eso lo que iba a decir… iba a decir mayores… pero ninguna tuvo la energía que tuve yo cuando canté «Don't stop believing» en mi primera audición… —dijo Rachel de corrido, Blaine miró a Santana y ambos sonrieron bien cómplices— ¡uy!... —exclamo haciendo un gesto nervios contenidos— permiso… —añadió metiéndose al baño un segundo después que Kurt lo desocupara. -¿Qué demonios fue eso?... —preguntó Kurt un poco descolocado. -Bueno… -Tu príncipe aquí hizo enfadar  a la estrella de Broadway… —dijo Santana mirando a ambos pero señalando a Blaine. -¿Como? -No, es decir si… solo hice mención del «call back»… —respondió Blaine como excusándose. -No le hagas caso… veamos mejor lo que hay aquí… —dijo Kurt abriendo una de las bolsas mientras Blaine buscaba cubiertos para todos— ¿china otra vez?... —pregunto quejándose. -Habla con Berry…—dijo Santana sin quitar los ojos del televisor. -¡Es lo que está más cerca del teatro!... —grito la aludida desde donde estaba. -Con un demonio… —murmuró Kurt mientras sacaba las cajas con comida— ¡les di el dato del restaurante italiano hace como 4 días! —exclamó dirigiendo su voz hacia el baño -¿Cual es problema?… —quiso saber Blaine acercándose. -Ninguno, este es un buen restaurante, pero quería que probaras los platos del «Via Carota»… son sensacionales. -Podemos ir mañana, mi vuelo es en la noche… yo invito… —dijo Blaine moviendo las cejas. -¿En serio? -Mucho…  aun no celebramos como corresponde nuestro compromiso, asi es que… -Genial entonces… —dijo Kurt sonriendo al ver que Blaine se acercaba a él para besarlo. -Ok… antes de empiecen con sus cosas, los detengo en este instante, es hora de cenar, no de hacer… sea lo que sea que es esto… —dijo Santana levantándose del sofá y poniendo cara de asco cuando mencionaba lo de las cosas, Kurt blanqueo los ojos y Blaine volvió a sonreír, estar cerca de Kurt era lo mejor y no había cabida para el mal humor.

-Esto esta muy bueno… —opinó Blaine mientras comía. -Ese restaurante es el mejor, a pesar de que a algunos les disguste comer lo mismo dos días seguidos… —dijo Rachel sirviendo en su plato y dando una mirada reprobatoria a Kurt, este no se dio por aludido y tomó dos «egg roll» -Y… no se si lo vieron, pero el alcalde esta pensando en… -No,no ,no «Lady Hummel»… para conversaciones aburridas prefiero sentarme en el Central Park cerca de los ancianos que juegan ajedrez… -Solo trato de instalar una conversación…—se defendió Kurt pidiendo los condimentos. -Pues yo prefiero no quedarme dormida sobre estos champiñones, mejor juguemos a algo… -¿Jugar?... —dijeron todo al unísono. -Obvio… cuando bailaba en la jaula del bar… -¿Qué?... ¿bailaste en una jaula?... —pregunto Blaine con sorpresa y mirando a todos, Kurt hizo un gesto de «no preguntes» mientras Rachel decía en silencio «una vergüenza» -Obvio Anderson… pero ya no, ahora solo estoy atendiendo mesas junto a Berry y «Lady Hummel»… -Yo solo hasta que tenga para mi banda… —interrumpió Kurt  levantando una mano. -Y yo solo hasta que se estrene la obra, que por cierto… -Si, si… —interrumpió Santana dejando a Rachel con la palabra en la boca— el jeugo es el siguiente, yo preguntare cual es la parte del cuerpo que más te gusta de tu «peor es nada» y ustedes contestan… -Eso no es un juego… —dijo Blaine riendo. -Pues ahora lo es Anderson… -Yo no estoy con nadie en este momento, así es que… -Vamos Berry, los últimos meses has tenido más acción que cualquiera de los de esta mesa, elige a alguien, el gordito de Finn o el muñeco plástico de Brody… —dijo Santana bebiendo agua de su copa, Rachel hizo un puchero como de llanto infantil y se quedo en silencio sin saber que decir— todos estamos esperando «Funny girl»… -Pues no contestare… —dijo echándose una gran porción de cabello hacia atrás. -¿En serio?... —añadió Kurt alzando una ceja— tienes mucho donde elegir… pero por favor, no seas tan gráfica si es de mi hermano del que vas a hablar… —dijo cambiando su gesto suspicaz por otro más ácido, Blaine rió y siguió comiendo. -¿Ves Berry?, vamos… -¿Qué tal si contestas tú?... -Ok… puedo decir que amo a  Britt con el alma y estoy segura que en algún momento de la vida volveremos a estar juntas, pero mientras tanto… Dani tiene la sonrisa más maravillosa que he visto y una delantera que ya te la quisieras tu Berry… —dijo Santana tomando una pieza de «wantan»— ahora es tu turno…—agregó mientras mascaba, Rachel tomó aire abriendo al máximo sus fosas nasales, se mordió el labio y tardo un par de segundos en dar una respuesta. -Pues si debes saberlo, Brody tenía unos abdominales tan marcados que si bajabas por ellos… —Rachel se echó un poco de viento con una de sus manos y se bebió al seco el agua que tenía enfrente, todos rieron como disimulando. -¿Ves que no es tan difícil?... ¿qué hay del «cara de feto» Hudson? -Pues Finn tiene lo suyo… —contestó sonriendo con travesura— pero si tengo que elegir… creo que me quedo con sus manos… —agregó sonriendo con nostalgia, Santana soltó una risa que se oyó como una explosión— ¿que? -¡Eso es lo más aburrido que pudiste responder!… yo dormí con él… —Rachel hizo una mueca de desagrado— hay como… no sé…  4 cosas que pudiste decir… a ver tu Anderson, ¿qué te gusta más de «Lady Hummel»?... -Ok… puedo decir que… —Blaine se quedó un instante mirando a su prometido unos segundos, Kurt se puso un poco nervioso pensando que tal vez no había nada sexy en el digno de destacar— todo… —agregó sonriendo que encantaba, Kurt de nuevo sintió que se le subían los colores esta vez más por pudor que nada. -¡«Buuu»!… —exclamó Santana moviendo una de sus manos con el pulgar hacia abajo— me corrijo, eso es lo más aburrido que alguien pueda contestar, Kurt negó con la cabeza pero riendo de todas formas— a ver… ahora tu «Lady Hummel»… todos sabemos obviamente lo que es… —dijo la chica señalando a su amigo que en ese momento se llevaba un «egg roll» a la boca, Blaine creyó atorarse con la salsa de soya y Rachel sintió que uno de los fideos de arroz se le metía por la nariz. -¡Santana!... —exclamó Kurt abriéndose sus ojos al máximo. -¿Que?.. vamos «Lady Hummel»… lo has dicho innumerables veces… -¡Por supuesto que no!... —insistió Kurt hablando cada vez más agudo y alto. -Lo ha dicho Anderson… —repitió la chica mirando a Blaine— con un par de grados de alcohol en la sangre, por lo ha dicho… -Ok, este juego se fue de las manos… ¿alguien va a querer postre?... —dijo Kurt levantándose al sentir que su cara estaba más roja que la botella de sriracha que había en la mesa. -¿Que?... ni siquiera hemos terminado de cenar… siéntate y contesta mejor… —añadió Santana señalando la mesa y a su amigo con uno de los palillos, Kurt chasqueó la lengua y se sentó de nuevo de mala gana— ahora responde… -Bueno, como dije anteriormente, el alcalde… -¡«Buuu»!…—volvió a  exclamar Santana esta vez golpeando la mesa como si estuviera en una protesta callejera, Rachel se unió a ella haciendo tintinear su copa, Blaine miraba a todos sin saber si reír o no,  Kurt, en tanto, trataba de seguir hablando del alza del pasaje del subterráneo. -Dijo que el alza se debería… -¡«BUUU»! -¡Esta bien!, —exclamó de pronto Kurt  dejando a todos callados —somos adultos podemos hablar de ciertas cosas sin necesidad de hacer un escándalo por ello… Santana, mi parte favorita de Blaine es… su… su banana… —dijo sin poder decir la palabra correcta, las chicas rieron al escuchar aquel eufemismo casi infantil — ¿contenta?... —agregó— y ahora permiso,  tengo actualizaciones que descargar… —terminó por decir  levantándose, Rachel y Santana gritaron «uy» en tono alto y burlón y Blaine sintió que ahora era él quien se ponía colorado.
