I tweaked my Zoisite design a bit and I think I'm a fan of this one by just a smidge more
The fur color they had before was too much like Ren's, so I flipped it over to be more "off the shoulder"
Thoughts/Explanations of story and design can be found on the original post (linked prior)
(Credit to @chrisrin for the base gem designs for Lizzie, Ren, BigB, and Cleo!)

hello all! a little different of a post than my usual stuff, but i need a favour:
i am writing a cartoon, it’s an indie thing, there’s only me on the project right now, but i need a co-writer.
i don’t want to give too much away in terms of the project and the plot, but it’s got magic, somewhat inspired by gravity falls, owl house, monster prom, hilda, the carmilla webseries, craig of the creek, and old tall fairy and folk tales. it’s called Arcane Antiques, and will feature a queer, bipoc, and disabled of characters from all kinds of backgrounds. and if that isn’t enough, there is a living non-binary mannequin witch who is totally goofy and grumpy and casts spells via ASL. if that doesn’t sell this pitch, i don’t know what will.
if this sounds like your cup of tea, or you know someone else who might he interested in helping me write this, please spread this as far as you can! i would love to get more people on board. i will also be posting soon about voice actors and artists, so stay tuned for that or feel free to message me now if you’d like to be involved early.
thanks in advance! have an absolutely magical time!

A Fairy and A Human (Creek)
I don't know what to put on the title bu meh, so anyways, @cyncerity here's the fic based on that small idea that I've shared with you 👀
Anyways Enjoy :]
Word count: 1.2k
Craig left the highschool with a tired face, accompanied by Tweek, his boyfriend. He smiled slightly as he listened to him speak and although he wouldn't admit it, he loved listening to him tell his problems or worries.
They walked together until they reached the blonde's house, giving him a kiss on the cheek and saying goodbye while saying that they would see each other the next day at class.
Craig continued walking until he got inside a forest, approaching a specific tree. There was a small door embedded in the trunk, while on the sides there were two windows through which a fairly dim light came out.
Craig closed his eyes and a few seconds later, large blue butterfly wings appeared on his back, while on his head, a pair of antennae.
His size had also changed, going from 5' 7 to 4 inches tall, making it possible for him to use the door embedded in the tree. He approached the door, opened it and commandeered the two adults and the girl who were inside.
"How were classes today?" The woman asked him. "As always mom... I'm going to the room for a while..."
Craig and his family are butterfly fairies, although his father used to be a human who could shrink to the size of a fairy, but he stopped being that when he kissed his mother and became a fairy like her, nullifying his powers of being able to change size.
Craig was born a fairy, but inherited his father's past powers, making it possible for him to change from fairy to human. However, his little sister, Tricia, did not inherit any powers so she was just an ordinary fairy.
After a while distractedly looking out the window of his room, he left his backpack on the floor and left the room. "I'm going to fly for a while, I'll be back in a few hours." He said as he left, closing the door and not letting his parents answer him.
He flew out of the forest, entering South Park again heading towards Tweek's house. Craig liked to look at Tweek from time to time while he was in his fairy form.
He approached his bedroom window, frowning when he didn't see the blonde in the room. He pushed a little, knowing that the window was open and fluttered into the room.
He perched on the nightstand, looking around the room, seeing it a little messy. He probably should help him sort it out later or the next day... he let out a sigh as he moved his wings with the intention of taking flight, but for some reason he couldn't do it.
He stopped moving them, suddenly falling on his hands and knees, unable to get up. His gaze went downwards to see what was pinning him down, his eyes widening as his face paled.
A glue trap. He had gotten stuck in a glue trap. Craig tried to keep his calm as he tried to think of why Tweek had a glue trap on his nightstand although he didn't have to think much as he heard Tweek's mother from afar.
"Tweek honey, be careful not to touch the glue trap I left on your table." "O-Okay, I-I'll be careful..." 'Had it been Ms. Tweak who set the trap? Well, that made some sense I guess...' he thought for a few seconds before realizing the situation.
Tweek was heading towards the room! Craig flapped his wings in panic, desperately trying to get out of the glue even though it was practically impossible on his own.
One of the reasons he was panicking was because he hadn't told Tweek anything about him being a fairy since it was a family secret and because… right now Tweek was fucking huge compared to him. He thought at the same time that Tweek stood in front of the table, he and Craig staring at each other.
Suddenly Tweek put a cup on him as he let out a scream. "T-The underpants gnomes are b-back!" Craig let out a sigh as he calmed down a bit, or at least tried to, still listening to Tweek yell about gnomes in a panic.
A few minutes passed until the room fell silent, Tweek finally calming down. Craig half closed his eyes as the light hit his face as Tweek finally lifted the cup from him.
The blonde watched him for a few seconds, opening his eyes wide seconds later. "CRAIG?!" He shouted in surprise. Craig slammed his eyes shut for a moment before opening them.
He wished his hands were free of the glue so he could cover his ears. "Hey honey…" Tweek seemed to realize how loud he was to Craig and that he had hurt him by accident, so he tried to speak lower.
"I-I'm sorry, I must be pretty loud to you... B-But how are you a fairy?! What happened to you?! S-Surely it was the North Koreans!" He said panicking again.
"Tweek honey, calm down, this is not the work of the North Koreans or other people, this is my true form!" He said, trying to calm his big boyfriend down. And apparently it worked, as Tweek stopped talking in a panic and looked at him confused.
"H-Huh…? W-What do you mean…?" Craig let out a sigh as he explained. "I was born a fairy, my parents and sister are fairies... although apparently I'm the only one of them who can transform into a human... so, you've been in love and dating me in human form..."
Craig's wings trembled for a second as he let out another sigh and looked away. "I'll understand if you're disappointed and don't want us to be together anymore..." the room was silent for a few seconds, the fairy still avoiding eye contact with Tweek.
"Craig... I-I don't care if you're a fairy or not... I-I'm not going to leave you because of that, I-I like you anyway. J-Just because you're smaller and have wings, i-it doesn't change the fact that you're still Craig. I-I'm going to continue loving you anyway." Tweek said softly as he crouched down to get a better look at his boyfriend, who looked up and looked at him in surprise.
"L-Let's get you out of there, okay?" He continued talking as he stood up and left the room, only to return a few minutes later with a damp cloth.
He crouched down in front of Craig and began carefully rubbing the glue off his arms and legs. "I-I have informed myself and water is very effective with this type of traps, y-you will be free in a few minutes." He said while still concentrating on freeing him from the glue.
Just as he said, in a few minutes, he was finally free of the trap, which Tweek threw away. Meanwhile, Craig stretched briefly and looked back at his giant boyfriend.
"...You… really don't care?" "O-Of course not Craig, I love you so much!" He responded happily, picking him up and hugging against his chest, careful not to hurt him.
"You're adorable Craig!" The fairy blushed at those words, replying. "I-I'm not adorable Tweek!" The human simply laughed, his cheeks a little red from laughter.
Craig looked at Tweek, who was still laughing, a soft smile forming on his face as he blushed slightly.
This wouldn't be so bad after all.
Craig's wings are based on this butterfly species btw :]

Book Review: The Thirteenth Child by Erin A. Craig
Tumblr media
The Thirteenth Child is a sweeping yet haunting fairy tale about a young girl named Hazel Trepás who is promised to Merrick, the god of death.
The youngest of thirteen, Hazel spends her childhood unloved, unwanted, and unseen, as she waits for her godfather to come and collect her. When he finally arrives, he says that she will become a great healer, someone who is gifted with the ability to diagnose ailments in sick people and cure them. However, her gift also comes with a steep price, for not everyone can be healed, and it's up to her to end the suffering each time a new deathshead appears.
This comes to an inflection point when she is ushered to royal court to treat the king, who is suffering from The Brilliance, an illness where the body leaks then solidifies into gold. Though he is marked for death, Hazel is torn. What if she saved him? Is there a bargain she could strike with the gods? And if there were, what would happen if she went against her godfather's wishes?
Romantasy fans will love this! Craig's writing is lush and atmospheric, with vivid descriptions that make readers feel as if they've been dropped into a dark Grimm Brother's fairy tale. That said, there's also a warmness at the core that burns with hope as well as humanity. It makes for the perfect blend of magic and sentimentality.
Hazel is a lonely and secluded character for the most part, a woman who yearns for company, for someone who will look after her and think of her first, and because of that, she feels somewhat reminiscent of Addie La Rue. They have a similar longing in the soul. A desire to belong, not only to the world, but to some of the people in it. I loved that, as well as the tenderness it welled in me as a reader.
A powerful and intimate fairy tale, through and through!
Many thanks to NetGalley, Random House Children's, and Delacorte Press for the ARC in exchange for my review.
4/5 stars

Media I’ve Experienced in 2024 (March)
Puella Magi Madoka Magica:Rebellion (8/10)-Big Cake Round Cake Right in Front of Me!
The Little Mermaid 2023 (6/10)-The singing was good besides that wack Awkwafina rap
Craig Before The Creek (8/10)-While I liked Craig of the Creek, I wouldn’t call myself a fan but this prequel was pretty fun into was the main characters were like before
Madame Web (0/10)-No reason to watch, awful effects, bland characters, boring story
Megaman X5 (7/10)-Honestly, the story was kind of stale but the gameplay was still top notch
Peacemaker (9/10)-After playing him in Mortal 1 Kombat, I loved this show. Fun characters, funny dialogue, and some pretty good fights
Megaman X6 (5/10)-Guilty pleasure, while a lot of it was annoyingly hard, I liked the virus stuff and the story
Avenue Q (9/10)-Pretty emotional musical about adulthood despite being played by muppets
Kung Fu Panda 4 (6/10)-Waaay too safe, the villain was intimidating until being defeated in 3 hits
Secrets of the Furious Five (8/10)-Pretty neat special, I liked the Furious Five from their movie screentime and the show and this helped fleshed them out
The Button of Doom (6/10)-While not as good as the movie. This is something Megamind 2 wishes it could be
South Park (8/10)-After 26 Seasons, this show is still pretty good. It has moments that make me laugh while still being shocking and there are characters I find likable to watch like Butters and Kenny
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (10/10)-Takes my favorite disk of FFVII and expands hard on it. Traversal feels freeing, the locations feel more full, and the story takes some wild turns.
Smiling Friends Season 1 (8/10)-This shows that adult cartoons don’t have to be about nihilism and can be about hope and enjoying life.
Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy (3/10)-While I find Seth MacFarlane funny this didn’t do it for me. The comedy while having decent setups, is ultimately too lazy to make it funny
Megaman X7 (4/10)-Gameplay was repetitive, the voice acting was bad but hey still liked it more than X3
Megaman X8 (8/10)-The gameplay is pretty fun this time, and Lumine is a pretty good villain if they expanded her more
Megaman X:The Day of Sigma (5/10)-The animation is good don’t get me wrong but the pacing couldn’t keep me engaged
Saw (7/10)-Pretty good story about someone who wants to help people realize they want to live by putting them in death traps
Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Manga (Currently 8/10)-My favorite anime is Fairy Tail and this sequel expands pretty well, the Dragon Gods concept is interesting, the characters are still as they were which is how I like them, and the art during fights are really well detailed
Hello Kitty Super Style (9/10)-I love Supercute Adventures and this show honestly feels like if we got a full 11 minute show.
Mortal Kombat 1995 (8/10)-Fun action and characters. Effects didn’t age the best
Grave of The Fireflies (9/10)-Really emotional movie about those suffering during war
Persona 3 Reload (10/10)-The best gameplay and presentation Persona has ever been.
Godzilla:King of Monsters (9/10)-Really cool action and monsters
King Kong:Skull Island (8/10)-Pretty good story and action
Godzilla 2014 (5/10)-Probably spoiled by how good future Monsterverse but the spectacle was kind of forgettable
Godzilla vs Kong (10/10)-Yup still as fun as I remember it
Hunter X Hunter 2011 (9/10)-As much as I want to strangle Gon the rest of the series is pretty fire
Kaguya Sama Love is War!:The First Kiss That Never Ends (9/10)-Pretty funny and emotional movie
Komi Can’t Communicate (9/10)-Fluttershy as an anime girl
My Senpai Is Annoying (8/10)-I came in wanting Kurobe, left loving Futaba and Takeda
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon:Explorers of Sky-Beyond Time and Darkness (5/10)-The dub is too goofy
OFF The RPG (Opinion Has Changed as of September) (8/10)-Originally I found the fights boring and the fact I was softlocked made it lower. That was a mistake. The story is really haunting and dark, the fights are really basic but not bad, and the locations have an eerie feeling to them
One Piece Film Z (10/10)-Z is a really intimidating villain and the action is pretty good
My Little Pony:The Manga (7/10)-Cute artwork, I wish the stories were better

Like fairies, mer-people also have "hierarchies". The more "individuated" you are as an elemental, the higher your rank. The more "human-like", the more royal you are, the more spiritual power you hold ✨.
