This is mere humor and does not actually seek to portray a reality about the Mexico/Ecuador conflict.

Mexico (🇲🇽) actually has somewhat bad eyesight, and does not distinguish far away very well. And that had never really been something he paid attention to since he had been doing it for a long time and it just didn't cause him too many problems.

But now they are having a big problem until he had a fight with Ecuador (🇪🇨) that left them with a war on their hands.

The problem? Venezuela (🇻🇪) and Colombia (🇨🇴) are on his side, and in reality he cannot distinguish them from a distance...

During the war, Mexico sees someone approaching him very quickly, and sees that he has just the colors that cause him so much trouble. With the distance he can't know if a shield is there, or stars or just nothing... So he makes the decision to shoot.

The person he was aiming at crouches down and someone else comes right behind him (same colors) and that's the one the bullet hits.

It turns out that whoever it hit (by accident but it hit) was Ecuador

The other country gets closer to Mexico, very surprised and just...

🇨🇴/🇻🇪: How did you know he was behind me?

And Mexico, as frank as ever, simply

🇲🇽: I didn't know

And he just shrugs and walks away, leaving the other country incredibly scared and confused.

Am I the asshole for yelling at my wife and telling her that she should’ve been grateful for her ex-husband dying?

I (41m) have been married to my wife (39f) for 12 years. We have two amazing kids. (2m and 7f) They’re all my absolute world, and I love them with all my heart.

Now for my situation.

For context, a year after me and my wife got married, she told me that she used to be married before me. She had gotten married at 23 to a man (22m) who had died a month after their wedding in a car accident. She grieved for him very much because he was her first true love. I however, was not happy with the fact that she had been married before me. I don’t care that she was a widow, someone was with her before me, and that made me angry. I kept that to myself though, because I didn’t want to upset her and make her divorce me.

A week ago, on the 16th anniversary of her ex-husband’s death. She told me she would be going to a party to honor her ex-husband because his sister and her were really close and she wanted to pay her respects to him. I got angry and told her that she was not going to the party. She got upset and told me that she would be going no matter what I said. It was her decision. I felt myself snap and told her that she should be grateful for her ex-husband dying because then she wouldn’t have met me and had our two beautiful children with me. She was silent for a bit before storming out the door. I tried calling her but her phone went straight to voicemail every time.

From what I’ve heard, she stayed with a friend for the night because she was too angry to face me. I got a ton of spam calls and texts from her family and friends telling me I was a dick and a terrible person for what I said, but I believe I was in the right. She’s my wife. I don’t care that he fucking died in a car accident, no one should’ve had my wife before me. She is mine.

When she came home the following day, she told me to not speak to her for a while because she still needed time to process what I had yelled at her.

She’s still angry with me and refuses to speak with me. But she can’t be mad at me forever, right? She still loves me, even though what I said was fucking disgusting and something no one should say to someone. She told me she can’t forgive me for what I said and that I should be ashamed. I’m not ashamed of what I said because I felt like what I said was the right thing to say and that I was not the villain in this instance.

Mine, hers, and her ex-husband’s family have told me that I should apologize for what I said and the pain I inflicted on my wife during one of her most vulnerable times, but I don’t think I have anything to apologize for. I was speaking my mind, and she should’ve respected my opinion and stayed home that day.

So I gotta ask, am I the asshole?

(This story is completely fictional and is not based on real events.. at least as far as I’m concerned.)

(I hope no one has actually done this kind of shit to their partners or spouses…..)

Fake scenario in my head story post<3

So basically i have fake scenerios i make in my head, to songs and decided to share my most recent one :3 TW mention of mental illness, gore-ish but nothing too serious

acronyms used:

fc- fake scenerio fc bsf- fake scenerio best friend fc me- fake scenerio me

So basically fc me and my fc bsf decided to explore an abandoned mental hospital (we're teens in this scenerio) we knew it was abandoned but didn't know it still it had mental people in it still. We basically wandered in and we were kind of lost but we managed to locate a basement that was sort of a lab/medical storage room with experied medicine and expired chemicals and things like that.

Fc me accidentally slams the door to the basement but since it's heavyweight and it's made out of metal it slams loudly and there is an echo so some of the people still in the hospital hear the noice and some brush it off, some don't notice it too mutch because of the voices in their heads but one of the mental people nearby, who is nearest, starts approaching the noice. But he stumbles on another unstable insane person and both are verry violent and unstableand since the people in the mental hospital do not encounter each other they become violent towards each other and get in some sort of fight and begin trying to kill each other.

Meanwhile me and my fc bsf are taking selfies and pictures of different things and then we hear the echo of screams and noices like that of the fight. We basically don't expect there to be anyone in the mental hospital so we both begin to panic and my fc bsf actifentally drops her phone. She doesn't notice.

Eventually she gets the courage to peak out of the door as fc me is silently panicking in my place. And she sees this man in a thorn and dirty white gown, that is stained with blood and brain matter of the other person. And he basically hugs the corpse in a brear hug weirdly while singing a lullaby(?) in some sort of muttered language.

Then she falls me what she saw and fc me takes her hand and straight up runs out of the room, running towards the opposite side of the halfway and the man notices us and like starts chasing us. And as fc me is runningus i manage to shout out how hot he is and how he is smashable and my fc bfs is basically looking at me like "NO."

We then reach those thin, steap, slippery starts, without any good railing and we start trying to get up but we slip a couple of times but manage to make it to the top. But the man is on the last step and is behind us so in a panoc fc me pushes him and he falls down the stairs.

We run to the nearest door and go in and basically run, trying to get as far away as possible. But now were lost and we are wandering around the mental hospital but it isn't fun as me know there are mental people in it.

We manage to avoid them, mostly. But we aren't able to go past a hizophrenic lady that talks to herself openly about hallucinations she has. But is kind of nice while being verry unstable. She actually helps us get out, but she is very touchy and makes a lot of physical contact and has constant mood swings so we both feel uncomfortable and feel like we are walking on eggshells but at the same time are grateful.

Eventually we get our but before, as a thank you we give the lady some lip gloss that fc me had in my bag along with a little keychain of a donut.

In the end we end up lost in the woods as we came out of another place, then the one we came in from.

Also, fun fact making fake scenarios in your head is called Catastrophic thinking and it's apparently normal (I hope it is)

sometimes fandom seems to struggle with the concept that...people can be kind/"good people" in some situations and very very not kind/not "good people" in others.

I feel like there's this urge to either write off the positive behavior as "fake" or to find a way to ignore/explain away/write out the negative behavior. and I personally find this really really irritating in both directions, actually

also if you check the ages on their IDs you can calculate that I assume the story takes place in 2012 but this kind of ID was first issued in 2016…….. unfortunately I was in too deep with forging their IDs to start from scratch ✌️
