everything is coming up s h i t so I'll describe them and their half-assed back story

I originally wanted them both to be driders but thought it'd be funnier if there was a v obvious height difference so only made the female a drider, her brother just has four of those long af leggies popping out of his back(he curls them up because like h e l l am I drawing them all extended every time I doodle him, they make clothes h e l l)

Their name's are Mimsy and Goliath, Mimsy's the dude. Kinda looks like Tyson Ballou, y'know, if he had four eyes and a weird >::{} mouth. That means that Goliath is his sister, yes, she teases him often about his height.

They're gray skinned and covered in a tough shiny black exoskeleton, mostly on the back and arms, leaving their torsos vulnerable. Mimsy has a deep purple sheen, whereas Goliath has red.

Their father's a human, some mage dude, their mother ate him. Mimsy inherited his magic.

They live underground in this gigantic cave system, it's huge, has to be. Lots of minerals and glowy fungi. if you just woke up right in the middle of it you wouldn't know you were underground, v cool looking. lots of webs, hey the shit's everywhere, might as well use it for curtains n shit.

no one wears clothes, but it's chill cuz unless they're in a Mood all the junk isn't visible.

lots of driders, but most of them are fckin s m a l l compared to Goliath and Mimsy. Mimsy is ten feet tall, his sister is an easy fifteen.

breeding is weird, you either get a drider or two or thousands of fcking spiders ranging from smol bbies to dog-sized.

Mimsy is one of the few who venture out, mostly cuz he's one of the only folks in there with two human legs. he likes flowers, and yes he will bring some down for his sister who's too busy with ruling n such. they take turns, it's nice.

A = Announcement.- How do you tell him and the world that you’re expecting? I feel like with Ten, it’d be one of those viral things, where you ‘prank’ him a bit, and then post his reaction and stuff. Prob something with food, like all of a sudden every damn food being served is baby stuff; baby carrots, fcking baby back ribs. “Is this...this is what we’re eating? Kind of strange, but ok.” “And here’s a bib.” “Why do I need a bid, I’m not a bab-” “Here’s some baby food too idk if you want it or not.” “Why the fu-oh......oh.”

B = Books.- Did he read the books? I think Ten’s a pretty smart guy? Great dancer, great singer, great rapper, speaks multiple languages, he’s got a brain in there wow. I can imagine him reading a few, to get a grasp. I think he’d get books for things that aren’t plain obvious, like ‘no shit i have to feed and bath a baby, do you think i’m stupid?’, he’d get things like child development so he knows if his baby is on the right track and how to baby proof the house.


C = Cuddles.- Who cuddles the baby more?  Ten’s a snuggle bug, fight me. I can see him being in the damn middle of his s/o cuddling the baby like ‘wait wait wait i want it too! scoot over!’, so it’s going to be more like a joint cuddle lol


D = Daddy.- His reaction to being called Daddy and it setting in. 
 Ah can you just imagine his pretty lil smile and he gets all giggly and blushy when he’s called Dad for the first time? Looks adorable in my head. 

E = Empty.- Who goes to the store when you guys run out of supplies? Honestly I think Ten’s going to be a very attentive husband/dad, and jumps at his s/o’s beck and call. He’s definitely out the door before you can finish the sentence, he’s already on it zoooom


F = Feeding time- Who does feeding time?
 Ten with food is just a....disaster in waiting. We all saw him in the kitchen. I think feeding time will be his s/o’s duty, while he stands by and makes weird faces and sounds and dances to keep the bub happy and opening it’s lil birdy mouth.

G = Grumpy baby. - Who is better at dealing with a grumpy baby? 
 Okay, riddle me this; who tf can see Ten smile, and not immediately smile too? It’s impossible, it’s like he uses the force on you or smth. I think it’d be a joint effort in getting the bub happy again, but Ten is definitely the prop used.

H = How?- how many kids does he want? Ten has a sister, I imagine he’d try and duplicate that. I can see him having two or three kids, spacing them more apart, not like..bam you got three, might as well just had triplets, more like okay, one’s starting school, wanna go again?


J = Jokes.- best dad joke? 
 “Why can’t you have a nose 12 inches long? Because then it would be a foot.” 

K = Kisses.- His favorite place to kiss the baby. Ten’s a nose kiss dad, fight me. I can imagine him doing lots of eskimo kisses or smth cute like that all the time. 


L = Little.- How he feels when he holds the baby for the first time.
 God can you imagine Ten’s bright smile while he’s holding his new born, he’s crying and grinning and shuddering about how much he loves his child and he’s going to protect it from everything ever, and all the mushy stuff

M = Mommy.- what does he call you? 
 I feel like Ten’s a short and sweet kind of guy, I mean we went from his real name to Ten, so...I think he’ll stick to something like just Ma, Mama, easy and sweet.

N = Nappies.- who deals with the really bad ones? 
 Lol I don’t see Ten getting anywhere near the war zone. He’ll probably try and help his s/o, handing the diapers and baby powder, etc to them, but being the one in charge, I think he’ll pawn that deal off on his s/o.

O = Onesies- Who likes to dress the baby in ridiculous outfits?  Ten dresses pretty smart? I don’t think he’d be one that is going to dress the babe up like a clown lol. I can imagine him turning the baby into one of those weird kids of hipster parents that dress them up like hipster adults lmao. But as for legit weird baby clothes, I don’t see him doing much of that. It’ll probably be his s/o that does it.


P = Pet names- names he calls the baby. 
 Honestly I can see Ten being a possessive/protective first time daddy, sticking to nicknames like daddy’s little girl/boy, daddy’s angel, daddy’s sunshine. I think he’d have a list of names, but they always start with daddy’s _____

Q = Questions.- How many questions does he ask the nurse? 
 He’s like a machine,, shooting question after question at the poor nurse that can’t even get an answer out before he asks something else. Pray for the nurse.

R = Rely- what is the biggest thing you rely on each other for? 
 I think with Ten, it’ll just be knowing when the other is at the end of their rope. Being able to read each other. If Ten sees the bub isn’t wanting to eat, and his s/o is near tears with frustration, he’s immediately taking over the situation. And the same with him, he gets easily frustrated when the babe is fussy, and won’t calm down, and he’s about to break, and his s/o swoops in with the bub’s favorite pacifier and the day is saved.

S = Sleep duty. - who gets up when it’s really late at night? 
 Usually, Ten is shot awake every time the babe makes a noise, it’s like he gets shocked and woken up, so he’s usually the one shooting out of bed the second the whining starts. 

T = Trepidation.- fears as a new parent.  The weirdest thing, but he’s terrified he’s going to drop the baby, because one of his skills with calming the baby is dancing slowly, moving and bouncing the babe, and a nightmare for any parent is dropping the kid...he doesn’t! But still a fear in the back of his head. 


U = Ultra sounds.- His reactions to the ultrasounds. I can imagine Ten looking like a kid at an aquarium; face up against the screen and wonder and amazement in his eyes while he’s smiling so hard it’s starting to hurt and cooing over the blurry image. He’s just so over joyed at actually seeing his soon to be baby, he’s entirely smiles and just a few tears.


V = Values.- what is the most important value he wants to teach your child.
 I think Ten’s going to be one that teaches his kids something along the lines of owning and practicing something you like, you can own your skills and you’ll get far, “i mean look at your dad!” kind of thing.

W = Water.- Who gives the babe the baths?  I can honestly see Ten being the dad that uses bath time as an excuse to just play. “you ma wont let me touch the toys we got you, but we’re gonna play together and not tell, okay? okay” and then his s/o walks in one day when he’s supposed to be bathing the baby  and Ten’s just standing there with a bubble beard and a rubber duck in his hand. “I can explain.”


X = X-mas- what do you guys plan for the holidays? 
 I imagine Ten’s holidays are really family oriented, and holidays are just full of love and warmth and having fun with his family and his lil family. Crap ton of pictures and cooing over the babies. Honestly I want it.

Y = Yelling.- How many fights do the two of you get in? 
 Honestly I think Ten’s too much of a love bug to actually get in to a full blown fight with his s/o, I can see some stressed out arguments that just end in both of them crying and hugging and saying sorry and they love each other, but nothing too major. 

Z = Zoo- How crazy is the house after the birth? I think Ten would try and keep the house at least in order? Like no one with kids has a clean house, but Ten will try his best to stay on top of the dishes and at least make sure toys are where they go, baby clothes aren’t laying around, etc. At least tries to mask it as a clean house. lol.
