You and Reno have been dating for a good few months

He’s busy a lot so you don’t really get to spend tons of time with him

So the time you do spend with him is always special

You spend every night with him when he’s not on missions but as for dates? Never had one.

You’re first “date” was at his apartment in his bedroom sat on his bed eating take-out and watching a movie.

He’d been thinking a lot about taking you out properly

Giving you a special date, just to show you how much he means to you

He’d been really busy lately with missions and paperwork that he hasn’t been able to spend as much time with you.

But it gives him a chance to plan

He confides in Rude, who of course is all for helping his partner (best friends after all am I right?)

During lunch breaks they sit in the cafeteria planning everything down to a T.

Rude becoming just as invested in this plan as Reno is.

Eventually when the day comes everything is perfectly executed.

He and Rude both managing to get the day off for this to work.

You wake up In the morning and turn over to find Reno sat on the bed, a tray with breakfast balancing in his hands.

You spend most of the day in bed together, cherishing the time you’re getting to spend with your lover.

It gets to 5pm when Reno makes a suggestion that you go and get a shower and get dressed

After a short time of deafening silence you hear him shout to you to uncover your eyes

Uncovering your eyes you’re met with Reno, stood outside a helicopter, smile beaming towards you

You glance over to the pilot, noticing the sunglass wearing man you let out a small giggle

Walking towards to helicopter you notice the picnic basket and bottle of wine

This boy has planned a date of eating a meal in the helicopter while looking over the view of Midgar

The date goes amazingly, looking up at your boyfriend who is staring out over the helicopters window, taking in how the lighting is illuminating his features perfectly you smile.

You really are the luckiest girl to have someone like him in your life.

A fun thing about Garnet, is even after the events of FF9, she still tries to talk less like a Royal, depending on who she’s speaking to. Which leads to interesting moments of her using slang wrong (or correctly) to the wrong person and it being very awkward for everyone involved. Repeats of the “get off me scumbag” moment have been done, as she tries to find the right moment to use it. She hasn’t found it yet.

Thinking more about hikari von finalfantasy. I know mechanically they can't give her a lot of lines bc anything she says removes an amount of agency from my role as her. But I wish I got to look a little closer into her head. She's cheerful and friendly and helpful and so confident you'd think she was neurotypical. But I'm sure she's at least a little fucked up in there, both due to everything that happens in canon and in my own headcanon for her past. At the end of endwalker she's , probably for the first time in a long while, able to relax. Indulge in her true love of fishing. Something about the freedom really got to me, yknow? Like. The story has made a point since shadowbringers to tell her to head up to her room and rest. But always with the expectation that she'll be back to work in the morning, that this is just necessary bodily upkeep to make sure she's in good shape to fight. Now, though. She's free for real, to rest or go on an adventure or train or do whatever she wants. And the game implies that she knows what that is, but personally. I don't think she knows how to respond to that. What DOES she want? A hug, probably. Which she gets.

But at the same time, as much as the game has denied it since stormblood, she does very much have that same itch as zenos. To fight. To conquer a powerful foe. To throw herself against a wall again and again until she passes over it or crashes right through. To meet her match. There's a level of bloodlust to her (perhaps a latent cat instinct) that she has to hide in public. It would be hard to live up to her chosen name if she reveled in combat too publicly. It has to be an act of kindness or justice or whatever. And she likes that, she's into that, those are good and desirable things. But idk. There's a reason her preferred combat styles have gotten progressively more close-quarters. Anyway I'm obviously rambling and if you read this whole self indulgent mess , I'm very sorry that you wasted your time. There's nothing important here I just really like my girl.

 Poisonous Prize ( Noctis Lucis Caelum x Reader)

  You and the four are on the hunt of (m/n). Fighting the monsters who are very dangerous. You glanced at the team, Ignis analysing the monsters’ weak points, Gladio slaying the monster with his greatsword, Prompto shooting the monsters with his guns at bay and Noctis fending of the (m/n). What Noctis did not see is another (m/n) crawling towards him with his fangs ready to strike at his back.   “Oh no, that idiot!” you thought as you rush towards Noctis.   “Noctis look out!” you said as you shielded Noctis from its fangs. Noctis look at you shocked of what happened. All you felt… pain and the burning sensation coursing through your whole body. As you fall, Noctis yelled your name worryingly as your body falls toward the ground and black vision swept over you.

   “(Y/n)’s been poisoned” Ignis said in a distress tone as he went to (Y/n) examined them and apply them some curative that would at least administer the effects until they are treated in a safe place.   Nocits fueled with rage use his Armiger to finish of the monsters. Once that is finished, he rushed to (Yn) and picked them up taking them to the Regalia.

  The Regalia speeds along the road and going towards their rental apartment in Lestallum in a hurry. All Noctis could focus on (Y/n) who is grunting painfully on his chest. Their breathing ragged as the poison overwhelms them. He held them close and reassures them that they are going to be okay. When they arrived at the parking, they hurried towards the apartment and Ignis gave them a medical treatment. All they could do is wait.  After a day, (Y/n)’s fever occurred.Every two hours, they (when I’m they I mean Ignis and Noctis)  would treat them with a medicine. Noctis is always there  with a chair on the bedside of (Y/n) putting a towel on their head to at least let their body temperature cool down a bit. He also wipes them with a towel on their unconscious body to maintain its temperature religiously.

    The other days, Ignis, Gladio and Prompto attempt to cheer Noctis up.The three’s attempt to somewhat cheer their prince and they know your strong but Noctis is ignoring his health and well being lately. Ignis cooking up Noctis’ favourite dish, Gladio and Prompto’s with their humors and jokes, all of which is ignored by the Prince who looks very sorrowful after the incident happened. The three had no choice but to reluctantly go on hunts for their money is shortened by the expenses while Noctis tended to you beside by your bedside. He did not eat nor sleep in days for the fear that something bad might happened when he is not by your side.

  While alone with (Y/n), Noctis could do nothing but hold your hand. Guilt was written in his features, it was his fault on why it happened in the first place. If only he did not let his guard down then you would not be here in the bed fighting for your life. But now that its too late to dwell in the past, all he could hope for is your recovery.

  Noctis feels your shivering. He couldn’t help but hold your hand tighter, praying for The Six to help you for your recovery. He wants to cry though he held a strong face for you. He had to see your smiling face once more when you wake up and it pains him to see your pained face.                                        “You’re going to be alright (Y/n)” Noctis said as he kiss your forehead and caress your hair from your face waiting for you in the waking world.

   All you felt when you’re awake was numbness and fatigue and you look around the room to see Noctis utterly exhausted.

“(Y/n), I-” Noctis said.

“It was never your fault, Noctis” you said to Noctis reassuringly.

“But-” Noctis was about to say something before you cut him off.

“Noctis, I would do it again for you because I love you and you’re my idiot” you smiled at Noctis sincerely.

“Oh, (Y/n) what would I do without you?” Nocits said happily as he kiss you on the lips with passion.
