Simon “Ghost” Riley: 
Doesn’t really bother him — gives 0 fucks, because height is height. Though, he’s a bit relieved he doesn’t have to worry about neck and back pain whilst trying to kiss you if you were shorter. 
Will laugh straight-up if you knock your forehead on the door frame or accidentally hit yourself with the shower head; but, he’s nice enough to fix it, making sure it actually doesn’t hurt you for future uses. 
Will throw some shitty or cliché jokes, but often reminds you to duck or watch out for ceiling fans. 
Loves to be a small spoon, or simply put his head into the place where your neck and shoulder meet. Feels more secure, especially since your arms are likely longer and bigger. Although, don’t think you can tease him, cause if you do, hickeys and rough hands will soon appear on your skin. 
By chance, you’re wearing a collar shirt or any loose clothing, Simon will yank it down, making you come to his level and kiss you very intensely — clearly craving more than a sly kiss. 
If you try to pick him up, it’ll likely end with him using his commanding voice, moving on getting out of your arms but quickly accepts his fate; his lower body hanging around like a Maine Coon being picked up by a literal child.

König:
It’s perfect, really. Most people are naturally shorter than him, and he likes to use his height to intimidate people. And the fact you’re taller, the power you hold, is unholy.
Though, he slightly does get a bit flushed. You practically tower over him, and he’s often the one to do so. The height difference messes with his head, mentally and physically. With this said, his eyes, and pupils, are shaped hearts whenever he looks at you. 
Bear hugs to its max. Wherever you are, he’s behind you, rubbing his face into your clothes as he asks about your day – not letting you go until you ask him ‘nicely’. 
Really enjoy sitting on your lap, regardless of your gender. Working at a desk for work? He’s asking very nicely. In the living room, watching TV while you eat? He’s doing the same thing but only on your lap. 
Definitely asks you to get things out of reach for him (that he specifically put up because he wants your attention), and hugs you from behind. König, effectively, is trying to hide the obvious tent he has. But, you won’t ignore him, right? Of course, you won’t.

Johnny “Soap” MacTavish:
Digs that you’re taller than he. Much like Simon, height is something that’s natural, and he doesn’t care. But you, being taller than him, does things with his head. 
Really tries his hardest to get piggyback rides or be picked up in any way. Sometimes, usually when he comes home from missions, jumps on your back, resulting in both of you falling to the floor.
Soap really enjoys being the small spoon, especially when he’s on top of you, laying on your chest and rubbing his face in your neck. Sometimes, Johnny likes to be the big spoon (or try too). He lays behind you like a koala holding on their parents for dear life. 
Shitty pick-up lines all the time: “I’m surprised you didn’t find me on a stepladder,” – “Aye, the air up there must suck, yeah? Why not come down and catch your breath on my lap?” 
Will share his clothes with you and vice versa — your closet is now his. Hoodies, jackets, even baggy pants are now sharing with him. However, Johnny does love seeing you wear his own; the tightness curving your body.

Religion Mod: Banisteria Expansion

This is a small update for my Religion mod specifically for the Omiscan religion.
So you probably don't think of bongs when you think of religion but the use of psychedelic substances was a very common practice in ancient religions as people used to use them to commune with spirits and higher powers. As the Omiscan religion is based on ancient MesoAmerican and West African animist religions, it fits right in and makes for some fun gameplay.
If you play as an Omiscan, then you know that there's a special unlock you get for maxing out the religion which is a psychedelic herb called Banisteria. It's based on ayahuasca. Sims eat it and gain temporary "enlightenment" or they may have a negative reaction to it.
It's always been the plan to make a drinkable tea version (which is how you normally take ayahuasca) but while I was doing the vape pen, I added the option to smoke banisteria as well for my freewheeling free-lovin Omiscans.
Since the Omiscan religion is all about communing with others and the spirits, I wanted the smoking (and eventually drinking) to be a shared experience but the idea of sharing a vape seemed gross to me (do people do that IRL?). So I created a bong which is, in theory, just as gross, but at least that's what you normally do with bongs so I can let that slide.
Requirements: You need the updated banisteria and Peteran (that's where the buff effects are) files and my Smoking mod here to use this and University for the herb effects. If you are downloading the religion mod for the first time, please read through the documents and the original post first.
Credits: The bong is an edited conversion from Chisami's Highlife set. Sadly their blog is no longer active but you can still find their stuff on a graveyard site. You may be able to use other bongs but I shorted this one to fit the animation so you'll have to trial and error to see which other cc bongs will work.

Banisteria is a sacred herb to the followers of the Omiscan religion so it's only available to those who have mastered the religion. It cannot be bought or acquired any other way (unless you use a cheat).
However globalization ruins everything and turns it into a commodity so now it's become cool to smoke Banisteria even if you're not Omiscan.
Still only Omiscans have a good understanding of how to handle the herb and so they have a lower chance of having a bad trip. Chance of a bad trip is 40% (tunable) if you don't have an Omiscan skill level 3 or higher.
Sims can sell banisteria at the smoke shop which yields a higher price than if you were to sell it through your inventory. (How much more you get is based on the quality of the herb.)
I've also updated the herb effects for banisteria so having a bad trip is bit more "psychedelic". Sims that are tripping will hear and see things only they can hear and see.
Because banisteria is a mind altering substance, pregnant Sims should not smoke it but no one's stopping you from doing so. It will cause harm to the pregnancy though.
Other Features:
This adds two additional features to the vape pen
Add Banisteria: You will need at least 4 banisteria herbs in your inventory to fill the vape pen. Note: this amount is tunable in Retuner
Smoke Banisteria: self explanatory
Bongs/Waterpipes
You can purchase from the smoke shop at the grocery store where you get cigarettes, vapes, etc.
Bongs cost 350 and require 6 banisteria herbs to fill. Also tunable.
Sims with a bong in their inventory can also smoke with a friend. Just select someone you have 40+ relationship with and select "Smoke with X". They may accept or refuse based on their traits or current buffs.
Omiscan teens won't get in trouble for smoking banisteria because it's part of their culture.

Okay as a Particular Kind of asexual I have a rather specific au. It could work for both Hob or Dream but for my purposes let's go with Dream on this one. Human Dream is a HUGE workaholic. Like stressed 24/7, can't relax for the life of him, insomnia to the MAX. he's tried EVERYTHING. Yoga, affirmations, candles, drugs, fuck it he's even tried going GLUTEN FREE for fucks sake but nothing can break this cycle of physical and mental stress. He's gotten the "You need to get laid dude" but he can give HIMSELF an orgasm just fine, and it hasn't reset his brain or body, and the effort of going out, finding someone who wants him, determining whether they're a seriel killer, doing the Whole Hookup Song and Dance, with the high probability that it won't even work or be particularly good? It's just more stress on his plate. So a friend, could be a good friend (Lucienne) or a bad friend (Corinthian), suggest he see a Professional. A professional Dom, that is. He needs out of his head for a while, and that's the whole idea right? Just letting someone else do the driving. Cue Hob, Gentle Dom Extraordinaire, who has JUST the right touch for this mess of a man. He's kind and friendly, the kind of guy you WANT to listen to honestly, a guy you can trust, and he never gets meaner than some teasing, keeping Dream from feeling defensive and storming off. Dream goes in pretty skeptical of the whole thing, but by the time he's come out he's already addicted. Their first few sessions are distictly non sexual, but after a while they start branching out, working out Dream's physical stress...
I do think it would be really good in the other direction too, I just don't think Hob would have particular trouble NEEDING a Dom, I think he'd just try it as he does many things in his Insatiable Lust for Life and falls for Dream's Domming specifically. Soft Dom Dream? You'd never guess, especially since outside their sessions he's such a..stone cold asshole tbh. You'd think he'd be mean and demanding, but his soft deep voice says such sweet things instead, Hob MELTS.

Ooo yes I'm a big fan of domination being a part of lifestyle which isn't always sexual. Dream being dommed into basic self care is something that can be so personal actually. And honestly? I can see Hob benefitting from the same thing. I can definitely imagine him going through fluctuating mental health and needing a steady hand to get him back on the right track.
Back to Dream, though. I love the idea of him going to Hob with certain expectations (Cori told him that it would be all whips and chains). But Hob is soft and kind, and he quickly puts Dream at ease. The first session is all about finding out what Dream wants, what his triggers are, how he wants to feel at the end. Hob eases him into the dynamic by guiding him through a series of orders - it's more like a guided breathing exercise than anything else, and it does give Dream a more realistic idea of what sessions with Hob are going to be like. There's also a very nice massage specifically for Dream’s hands, which he's never had before.
He leaves feeling like he's floating, with strict instructions from Hob to call if he feels any negative side effects whatsoever. He can't believe how good he feels! And he wants to be such a good boy for Hob.
Within a few weeks, Dream is eating nutritious meals and going to bed without his work laptop. He's got more important things to do in bed! He's got to send Hob a picture of his cute little hole stretching around an egg plug by 9pm, or he'll be in big trouble...

devlog #8 let's talk about potions and systems
there's been a lot of good brainstorming being done in the brainstorming discord (anyone is free to join, you'll get credit in the final game and i might buy you a pizza every now and then assuming i have the money for it). so let me go over some of the systems in GO INTO THE FUCKING DUNGEON that i feel confident talking about because i know i will implement them, in one way or the other.
1) exhaustion & camping
GITFD is a game about resource management - as i have phrased it, it's an "immersive sim survival game with light jrpg elements" (it is a first person dungeon crawler jrpg). you will likely not be able to survive the game using only basic attacks, and there are many meters that can be attacked - not just your HP, but your lamplight, your hunger, and your EP (Exhaustion Points). Spells are cast from a static EP meter that does not go up in most cases - everyone starts the game and ends the game with 5 EP. anything beyond basic attacks, throwing stuff, and talking uses up some EP. if you reach 0 EP, you gain a level of exhaustion and your EP re-fills. exhaustion lowers your stats and makes you get hungrier faster. if you run out of hunger meter you starve to death. so don't do that.
if you get enough exhaustion that it would drop your max HP to 0, you just die and can't be resurrected. so managing that is important.
anyway, there are *very* limited ways to restore EP and remove exhaustion. the primary way is via camping. it's sort of like darkest dungeon and sort of like D&D. each character gets two timeslots to do stuff. you can rest (each resting period removes xyz amount of exhaustion stacks). you can craft items. you can cook and eat meals. you can keep watch (and someone better or you'll get ambushed lol).
this is not the kind of rpg that lets you just make a bunch of bread rolls standing around in a hallway and then eat them all in one turn. that stuff takes time and a fire and tools. you can't just do that.
2) corpses
enemies do not drop pre-butchered chunks of meat for you. in fact they don't drop anything unless it would make sense for them to do so. what they do drop is corpses. and if you do not loot the corpses and take them back to camp, the corpses will attract other monsters (mostly scavengers). you can also drop corpses to do that on purpose, or throw corpses at things for shenanigans.
but anyway, yeah, corpses weigh a ton usually and you need to bring them with you to camp to butcher them to actually get meat, hide, animal parts, etc. if your inventory is too heavy then you don't get *visually* slowed down (which is a miserable experience), but instead you take fewer steps to count as an encounter tick, which means your lamplight and hunger decrease faster, because you're traveling slower.
3) potions & alchemy
in the game's alchemy system, players can create potions by combining two monster parts that share a matching effect and one chemical which you mine from the walls, find in chests, etc.. the monster parts are obtained from defeating creatures throughout the game and each part is associated with a specific effect, such as invisibility, healing, or strength enhancement. The chemicals, which are based on the non-courtly minor arcana (Ace through Ten), modify the potion's effect in various ways. for example, the Ace chemical always produces the basic "potion of xyz" effect, while other chemicals can split the effect, make it a group potion, increase its duration, turn it into a poison, and so on.
so, for example;
ace + invisibility = potion of invisibility (which also makes you take a penalty to hitting because you can no longer see yourself or aim)
two + invisibility = potion of half invisibility (makes you translucent)
three + invisibility = potion of group invisibility
four + invisibility = potion of long invisibility (lasts until you next make camp)
five + invisibility = poison of invisibility (apply to weapon, apply weapon to enemy, enemy becomes invisible)
six + invisibility = potion of duo invisibility (invisibility for you and the target)
seven + invisibility = potion of visibility (makes you or something you throw it at extremely visible)
eight + invisibility = potion of total invisibility (works on truesight!)
nine + invisibility = potion of permanent invisibility (permanently makes you invisible)
ten + invisibility = potion of perfect invisibility (gives you invisibility but without any of the downsides)
because i'm an asshole and i hate people having fun, potions are not given a name until the first time you experience their effects, only described as, for example, "green fizzy potion", and the colors and adjectives are randomized every run. so. you can and probably will quaff a Potion of Permanent Petrification or a Potion of Permanent Burning at least once, and it'll be really funny.

Within Ailurocide’s narrative, we’re abandoning the nine lives system set up by Warriors, but not abandoning the nine lives idea as a whole. Just remodeling it and making it unique to our story here!
Let’s get a bit of context before actively diving into the whys and whats!
The Tree of Lights (also sometimes known as “the Tree of Souls”, or simply “the Soul Tree”) is, like many other things within Ailurocide, a hybrid! Rather than following the three-point-hybridization of most species, it is split between a weeping willow and a Canadian hemlock. This Tree produces glowing, harmless, and infertile spores that come in striking colors and sport bioluminescent characteristics, though it also bears a type of “fruit” that grow as cones, protected by a hard outer shell of scales that, when peeled back, reveal the tiny, fleshy fruit within.
These fruits are used for two very distinct and separate things:
When kept in its shell and offered the blood of two felfolk, by either cutting into the scales specifically to feed it, or by “watering” it with blood, the fruit and cone will expand and ultimately produce a new-bloom born of the DNA that the fruit was fed.
When ingested, the fruit can cause extreme resilience within a felfolk (or really, any animal that eats it) for several hours, sometimes even up to a whole day.
For the purposes of this post specifically, we’ll focus on their second listed use.
After ingesting this fruit, the individual will be able to walk off what normally would be a life-threatening injury, recover from the brink of death with little issue, and heal from most any immediate physical ailment. The more it is consumed, however, the more unstable a felfolk’s body becomes; they become weaker and far more prone to illness and small injuries such as excessive bleeding and bruising.
So, in order to ensure that no overdosing occurs, the plant is only offered to fairleads - ideally the strongest of their faction. On the cusp of war, the fairlead can ingest it, or if they’ve been suffering from an illness and wish to continue leading their faction, can ingest it then; it’s an incredibly powerful, potent plant. To misuse it not only causes extreme adverse effects on the body, but it also is grounds for banishment or even execution, in some cases.
Due to its immense importance to the Fealty’s way of life, the ability to continue bloodlines non-sexually, as well as the tempting power it holds, the Evergreens have been entrusted with the duty of guarding the Tree and the fruit, to ensure that not just anyone is able to get their paws on it and risk abusing it. The Tree’s protection, as well as the protection of its fruit - either for the purposes of continuing a life or extending one - falls onto the shoulders of the Evergreens, and it is a responsibility that none take lightly.
The max number of times any fairlead has ever ingested this plant was nine. They would always experience a horrifically painful death - with all of their organs failing, one by one, the brain being the last to go - afterwards.

For those curious about Trails of Cold Steel and it's ideal party comp, this is the actual specialty of the various members of class VII in cold steel 1 and 2. Note that this applies only to those games, and not 3 where they change things up.
Rean: Appears to be a physical dps with high speed. Arguably is in fact that thing, and can be very effective when built to repeatedly spam 200cp ogre mode S-Crafts. His true potential, however, is as a Delay Spammer. Give him as many sources of Inflict Delay as possible, and have him repeatedly spam Arc Slash. The max number of different sources from items and special attacks should be 5, iirc. Cold Steel calculates status effects weirdly. If you have 5 sources of delay, the game rolls 5 times to see if it procs, and if ANY ONE of those sources procs, the FULL CUMULATIVE delay from all of them is applies to the enemy. So every arc slash (which has a very small amount of self-delay meaning rean's next turn comes up FAST, especially with his speed), has a 50% chance to inflict 30+ turns of delay on an enemy with 90% delay resistance. The only enemy with more than that is the final boss of cs2, who is immune outright. This strategy allows for essentially infinite stunlock.
Alisa: CP Battery. She spams heavenly gift and gives everyone the CP they need to use their own spam strats. Link her with Rean and give her gladiator items so she gets the steady supply of CP she needs to use it every 3 turns. Also, Heavenly Gift gives Insight, the best status buff in the game. Otherwise, spec her as a secondary mage.
Elliot: Best healer in the game. By a lot. Aside from that, his magic attack is second only to emma, so use the slots you aren't using to spec him as a healer to spec him as a magic nuker like her. Also his S-Craft is a full party res, which is nice.
Laura: Physical nuker. She's slow, has like nothing as far as magic stats goes, and while her defensive stats are good, high defenses only go so far. Laura is good at one thing, and one thing only. VIOLENCE. Her STR stat is through the goddamn roof, and she starts the game with an S-Craft, where most character unlock it throughout. This is a hint as to the correct way to use Laura: Keep her as a support member on the bench, swap her in at an ideal moment, take that turn to eat something to buff her attack as much as you can, and then immediately interrupt turn order with a 200cp S-craft. She's a pocket nuke.
Jusis: Spec as a magic knight, though as he should stay in the backline, focus on the "magic" part of that. Jusis is perfectly fine in the frontline, to be clear - several of his crafts even demand it. He stays in the backline (or rather, in the center of the party formation) for positioning reasons - namely, hitting as many party members as possible with Noble Command, an INCREDIBLE buff that increase speed, magic attack, and strength, and STACKS WITH ITSELF, meaning no, you want to spam this shit, not just use it when it's gonna go down. If he has a turn to spare, he should do some magic damage, since that won't force him to move.
Machias: His value comes from the craft Burst Drive, which lets him snap turn order in half. Otherwise, he's a ranged physical dps. I never used him that much but Burst Drive IS OP, don't get me wrong. I just tended to run Rean/Emma/Jusis/Alisa as my main party.
Fie: Seems like a speedy dps like rean, and can be built towards that same goal as a delayer, though slightly less optimally. Her true value, despite her diminutive size and misleading stats, is as a frontline tank. Specifically, an evasion tank. Use items to get her base evasion to 50% and apply the insight buff to make it 100%. Fie is now invincible against anything but magic (interruptible, also Fie specifically is good at interrupting it.) and S-crafts (rare, but also sort of a "you're fucked no matter what, have a full party res in your pocket" thing). Using a correctly built Fie in battle gave me permanent evasion tank brainrot. Evasion tanking is the coolest fighting strategy, in all games and all situations. Fight me.
Emma: Emma...is your nuke. Your beautiful, busty, glasses-wearing NUKE. Her magic attack stat is as bugnuts as Laura's physical attack, and OH BOY can you make use of that. Pandora doubles magic damage, but increases FP cost. Hades doubles the damage of the first spell you cast. Ingenuity lets you regen FP on the field so you go into every battle full. Claoimh Solarion is a spell that does obscene damage to EVERY ENEMY ON THE SCREEN. Do the math. Watch things BURN.
Gaius: Gaius is weird, but from what I understand the best way to run him is as an S-Craft spammer. He uses the ability to trade hp for cp, while a healer keeps him topped off. Then he spams his S-Craft, which i believe also inflicts a guaranteed status? I ran him as a status effect inflicter, but hey, whatever works.
Millium: Millium is a tank and defensive support. So she's not actually good. Just use offense. Or stunlock.
Sara: Sara has the best overall stats in the game, and a number of very, very hard hitting crafts. She is, unfortunately, kneecapped by that very versatility. Sara is broken on paper by having an absurdly high stat total and being second-best at everything. However, she doesn't have any uniquely broken strats like every other character, and lacks a specific niche within a party comp aside from "DPS".

It's really interesting how we get 3 versions of the creel plotline:
1. The creel trailer, which has alice and henry running up the stairs excitedly together and alice finding the dead rabbit, not in the playground, but what I assume is either the front yard or the backyard. Also henry and alice are noticeably younger, but children grow quickly so I don't know if that was intentional.
2. The show itself, which has the difference in the beginning entry way scene and alice in the playground.
3. The First Shadow, in which alice strikingly missing, despite the fact that the play still takes place when the creels just moved to Hawkins, supposedly. I believe the first promo refers to henry as the new kid in school, emphasizing that henry may be an only child in this play... somehow.

So either something happened to alice before the creels arrived to hawkins (doubtful, this show places a lot of emphasis on hawkins as a setting and I doubt the it would make its central 'cursed town' irrelevant to its plot twist)-
Alice never existed (?? Lol) -
Or something happened to alice after the creels moved to hawkins and what we see in the show is not what it seems.
The third option isn't exactly out of this world. The show, since the beginning, put a lot of emphasis on PTSD, flashbacks, and repressed memories. It's all the more obvious with El recovering memories of Henry and the massacre, but s2 was filled to the brim with allegories and mentions to flashbacks, starting with Phineas "totally not used in the show as an allegory for the psychological effects of trauma" Gage and how will's supernatural experiences were compared to PTSD.
Vecna's curse was intentionally made to be subtle to the victim. None of them knew they were in a hallucination until it was made obvious to them. And... there are just some very interesting word choices going on here:

Hopper corrects Joyce in this scene but the association of flashbacks and nightmares continue. Victor describing his own vecna vision, reminiscent of his own traumatic memories:

We don't see Alice dying. Not even in Henry's pov- it's intentionally obfuscated from us.
In the beginning of s4 nightmares are also framed as a sign of the vecna curse, we see specifically Max's nightmare being more so a flashback, or a memory, to Billy's death. Nightmares are also a core symptom of PTSD so it fits the bill with season 2.
Funnily, enough we see Alice also experiences nightmares- which we know what that's associated with:

What exactly were in Alice's nightmares?
In the beginning we also got these very sus lines by Alice of all people, saying how the home looks like a "fairytale" and a "dream", which you know is what people say when they mean something is too good to be true, the opposite of nightmare, used to mean something that is so dreadful its hard to believe.

These lines arent in the creel trailor, which is... interesting.
Also I wonder if there is a hint to this when Henry gains his abilities in the first place. Weirdly enough this is symbolized by Henry forcing a clock to go backwards, metaphorically into the past (and I am obligated to mention this, but the parallel to fred):

Where others saw order, I saw a straitjacket. A cruel, oppressive world dictated by made-up rules. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades. Each life a faded, lesser copy of the one before. Wake up, eat, work, sleep, reproduce, and die. Everyone is just waiting. Waiting for it all to be over. All while performing in a silly, terrible play, day after day. I could not do that. I could not close off my mind and join in the madness. I could not pretend. And I realized I didn't have to. I could make my own rules. I could restore balance to a broken world.
Also makes me so curious about the rainbows on the clock during this monologue/scene... a reference to the rainbow room? Makes sense because it seems like the lab kids were killed in a similar fashion to Alice- their jaws weren't broken unlike virginia and the vecna victims. Why?

It's interesting how directly after this scene it cuts to the rabbit being killed- and with the predator/prey theme often represented by animals and a rabbit is definitely a prey animal- and that rabbits body being left for alice, who would later be killed in a similar way.

Why is Henry forecasting Alice's own death to her? For funsies? We see he repeatedly that he used tactics against his parents to hold the mirror up because they've done "terrible things" (still unknown what Virginia's terrible thing is yet). For vecna victims its slightly different, while fred and max fit that bill, patrick and chrissy don't. Their visions were more along the lines of showing them the darkness in their lives that they hide. So it seems to me that vecna shows not just sources of guilt, but the harsh unbridled truth of their lives. So what business did Henry have with Alice?
I'm not saying that there is possibly some weird fucky altered reality/time loss stuff happening in hawkins but. I am.

Hello and welcome new followers, it's been a while but I am here with another update! :]
Firstly, I just want to keep things transparent and catch people up to date for those that might not of seen my previous explanation for this delay and/or are new here.
I was very hesitant on making any new update posts because I wanted my original play tester who's been here since the beginning to look at everything first so I patiently waited. I didn't want to give out false expectations and add bunch of new content/concepts in update posts only to take it out or change it entirely if I couldn't make it work. In the end, my original play tester just couldn't make it so I recently asked someone else. Everything went really well, I had a lot of fun with how they played the game and they were very understanding. Their feedback really helped me when I needed it and I learned a lot from this experience, I am never waiting like that ever again. :]
Anywho, here's how things have been going as far as game development goes:
In my last update post, I was talking about a certain goal point I wanted to achieve and the game got a pretty big update!

I finished all of the morning settings/routes that now lead into day 4, this took a lot of writing and time. There is one specific route that I'm fixing because when my new play tester and I played it straightforward twice, it took a very long time to get through and we still weren't done before we took a break. :,]
There were two new paths that I also finished during all of this. For the first one, I decided to push it later into the game due to certain events happening too early and the second one is an ending which is slightly hidden somewhere. :]
All that'll be needed is minor adjusting, etc because the variables need to line up correctly since some routes can have different outcomes. I'm up for this challenge but it's going to take time to organize.
Here are some of things I fixed along the way:
Slight adjustment to an ending that required a certain trigger
Adjusted certain visual effects happening to early
Cleaned up various grammar mistakes
Fixed certain routes jumping into other routes
Minor fix to backgrounds appearing at the wrong time of day
Adjusted the volume of different background SFX's / Music

Here's one of several things you can eat in the game, can't survive on an empty stomach after all! :]
When it comes to CG's that involve food, my style approach will be a bit different. I was originally going to do realism but those take a very long time to do and after the first few, I got pretty burnt out from them.

I'm also still testing this but I thought about adding a visual effect that appears on your screen when something is causing you to rapidly lose health(?) It's not in full effect right now, just brainstorming it.
Lastly, another thing that's kind of been on my mind once I looked through the routes again is how long they are, I'm not sure how people feel about long visual novels since I consider this one to be a slow burn game. I don't want you to feel as though you have to skip through a lot of the dialog unless you've already seen it, I want it to be fun and not feel like it's dragging on. I really would like to hear people's thoughts on this because I honestly don't know.
I think I reached the max I can type here so I'll post the rest in the following update post next week but overall,

three more scug designs!
btw usually ill refer to slugcats just with they/them pronouns but some of them will use pronouns like he/him or she/her depending on my personal headcanons for them i think arti and hunter use any pronouns but use she/her the most, rivulet uses he/they, and spearmaster uses any but primarily they/them idk man its just how i see them, call any of them whatever you like !!!!

monk is one of the few slugcats in the group with no glowing whatsoever, instead being able to grow flowers on their back these flowers can be picked without hurting monk, and if gifted to any creature will remove any hostility that specific creature has towards whoever gave it to them. the effect stays even if the flower is lost, and the flower doesnt mean the creature wont go back to being hostile.
its kind of like. "wow this is a great gift ok i wont beat the shit out of this person" and if you arent treating said creature kindly it will go right back to hating/wanting to eat you
monk is always at max karma and can grow karma flowers (although pretty rarely) alongside the normal ones. the karma flowers dont have the same effect as the normal flowers, just. normal karma flower !!
theyre pretty quiet, but super friendly and hate seeing people fight. they suck at breaking up fights, though, and usually just end up trying to find somebody else to break it up

next up is artificer !!
artificer, along with a couple others like hunter and spearmaster, does most of the protecting for the group.
although capable of glowing, its not something she can do easily and its not something that really worth trying to do
Along with her normal explosion jumps/explosions, she can do a MASSIVE explosion which stuns and/or kills any creature in a pretty large radius. usually if theres a lot of creatures in one spot she'll go in, explode once or twice, and then come back so she doesnt stun/hurt any of the scugs in the group.
she can use the massive explosion once, maybe twice before needing to lie down and cool down. using it causes her scars to start glowing a bit and smoking and they get very hot which hurts arti a lot, so she doesnt use that explosion very often, only when she really needs to.
her usual explosions often work fine if she overheats from any of her explosions it has the same effect, but it starts a lot slower and just keeps building up- faint glowing, getting hotter, and starting to smoke
shes very protective over the others (at least, the ones she likes) and struggles a lot with keeping her emotions in check, as she has a habit of getting worked up over things and needing to sit down and calm herself down for a bit.
arti uses any pronouns, she/her preferred (she and hunter are partners. love them)

aaand hunter !!
Hunter is based on a lantern mouse in terms of design. when sleeping, relaxed, or in bright spaces, she looks like the first design (dark red/orange-red one), but in dark places or when feeling a strong emotion they kind of "pop" to the lighter form and constantly glow (like a lantern mouse), their eyes and tail tip glow the most (eyes also get slightly lighter in color)
hunter is fairly serious but likes to slip jokes into conversation while keeping a straight face and not changing their tone at all, just to see if anyone will notice
shes usually hanging out near artificer
has the rot (of course how could i not) and sometimes it'll start to effect him more than usual, causing them a lot of pain and making it hard to walk. if it gets bad enough she can just collapse and wait for it to wear off enough for them to get up again
hunter uses any pronouns, she/they preferred (eheheh artihunter)
edit rq to mention: hunter does have scars, but theyre too dark to see on the darker ver and the glow from the other ver hide them (aka i forgot to unhide the layer with scars so here we are)

Alomamola; Looks like a lovedisk evo. Used as a heavy support. is a ""Romantic"" pokemon that tries to help which idk why that's what my brain defaulted to but it is
Rotom; Rotom in lore are little shits. Just straight up. Also imagine it could be a rotom that's normally in his pokedex? And be similar to SM/USUM's rotomdex? Aka a fren. But either way this is about when they are Not in the 'dex if at all, and in those cases they're a support primarily, knocking shit off of people (removing held item on target pokemon) and then leaving (volt switch).
Sylveon; He got a frien he took care of and they eventually evolved....
More specifically, Sylveon is 1) a friendship evo, but in order to get Sylv instead of Espeon or Umbreon, Eevee needs a fairy type move. Eevee can learn Alluring Voice, which is a move that is 1) fairy type and 2) described as the attacker using an angelic voice and 3) if the target raised their stats that turn, they'll 100% get confused by the attack. So my brain went "oh so he's confusing them the moment they start to understand wtf is going on for five seconds".
Also has Pixilate, Sylveon's hidden ability, instead of the normal Cute Charm because he gets no bitches
Crobat; One of the shinies! shiny purely for the aesthetic. also has hidden ability, infiltrator, because. criminal. also because this man has no "Inner Focus" and can be intimidated (Inner Focus is the normal ability, which prevents the 'mon from being affected by Intimidate and flinches) also also friendship evo of a pokemon that are often considered annoying flying pest...
Also has a max power Return, as return does more damage the higher a trainer's friendship is with the Pokemon. 102 base power at max.
Confuse Ray because it felt legally obligated
Whirlwind because it throws the target 'mon out and forces a switch which just feels fitting to me ?
Covert Cloak because. Covert....Covert Criminal.......
Hoopa; You mentioned them in the PMD au and needed to. specifically bound because the bound version is just a silly little guy. hoopa's only ability is magician, which will have Hoopa take a pokemon who they attack's item when they have none. Which. this silly little guy has a berry they can eat <3
Physic Noise because i just find it funny to imagine, since it prevents the target from healing for 2 turns. presumably due to the noise. that just feels incredibly funny to me.
phantom force has the user disappear for one turn before attacking. any and all "disappear before attacking" moves feel very Show-Stoppercore
Substitute because it's. a substitute that gets the user outta harms way.
foul play because foul play hehoha
Mr. Ryme; one you mentioned them two another shiny it fits aestheticly to me
Screen Cleaner just felt funny (when the holder hits the field, all screens [reflect/aura veil/light screen] all vanish, from both sides)
Mostly just a normal Mr. Ryme besides Future Sight, a move that after being used hits the target 2 turns later. Plus an Occa Berry, because that turns a super effective fire-type move into functionally a normal-effective hit. like it just feels fitting since like Ha You Thought That Was Super Effective And Would Kill, But No! yknow?
Hydrapple; Pollen Puff, when used against opponents, is a 90 base power move. tends to hurt. but with allies it heals them instead,,
Recover just. Is Recover. self healing.
Regenerator ability because it heals when the 'mon leaves the field which like...criminal who runs off and comes back "stronger" but less Stronger and more just. ready to continue romance scheming. fickle beam has a 30% chance to attack twice and i just think thats funny for Show-Stopper. Syrup Bomb lowers the target's speed once at the end of each turn for 3 turns (don't quote me on this im. head in hands rn.)
Balcephaon; Air Balloon. its another occa berry thing air balloon prevents the user from being affected by ground type moves until hit with a contact move wherein it pops. so. hehoha you thought you could kill with a super effective move but no im immune! FUCK FALLING DOWN TO THE GROUND I HAVE BEEN HARMED (BALLOON POPPED)
Otherwise just your typical trickery things. taunt. foul play. knock off. but also mind blown because that's the silliest thing you can do! explode your head and take 50% of your HP :D!
Meowascarada; Flower trick always crits, and so avoids attack drops on himself/defense raises on his target. Facade does double damage when burned/poisoned/paralyzed. u-turn to escape. sucker punch for priority murder.
Liepard; 1) You said it's your favorite like 2-3 years ago 2) i saw liepard got a move called SKITTER SMACK and needed to. plus prankster ability, fake-out, choice scarf trick and sucker punch.
Cofagreus; The final shiny! for the aesthetic!! they're just a silly little guy...Also another favorite, except unhinged now. maybe haunted Show-Stopper for shits and giggles. silly guy.
klefki; little. shit. takes your fucking keys.
Zoroark; Legally obligated! illusionist dog fox thing...Toxic Poisons you and then runs away.
Sneaslar; Fucking flings a gold nugget at you (for max power, if i remember correctly), gets doubled speed due to Unburden ability (activates when you lose your held item), then gets double powered acrobatics because no more held item. Also can poison your ass.

Also ingeneral going feral the idea of Show stopper seeing zubats as kin enough because he too is seen as a nuisense, so hes just... nice to it ofc why wouldnt he be its a beast in a world too.

do any of your tiger crawl home characters have favourite foods?
Not super specifically bc thinking about local foods on a worldbuilding level is still on my checklist. But I can give you their general gist of what they like the best / eating habits.
-Connie's the only one with a genuinely normal balanced diet. gravy & broth enjoyer supreme. She'd actually have the forethought to do shit like bonebroths and roasts. Aran is in the same park, his cooking would slay. Damian has a few favourite meals that they remember from him as a kid but they hate talking about them (At least they do until they start rebuilding their relationship).
-By all means Max seems like he'd be very particular about eating healthy but he mostly lives off city takeout. Loves salad always forgets to eat it. Roswell is in a similar park. As a king he was kept on a pretty specific and strict diet of fancy shit and when he came to the city he realized how miserable it made him and how it effected his body negatively. So now he's just doing whatever he wants <3
-Damian and Everett are the worst, these two would both eat meat off the ground with zero hesitation, they can both cook Just enough. Everett's very much only known cooking on the road / on scraps kind of stuff. Damian's the same but they're better at making it taste good. Alex is in the same park as Damian, they're both bare minimum cookers but you will be suprised that it tastes good. All 3 of them are meat heads. Damian also likes cake bc the idea of food that's made for pure enjoyment/craft is mindblowing to them.
-Other worthy mentions: Endalla is shockingly mid at cooking, I think they'd have specific foods that they can just never do right so they always ask someone else to. Taurcoast would be overly elaborate to the point its excessive, like ratatouille tiny food with a thousand flavors kind of thing. Though I think she'd also love growing her own food so she can do whatever she wants always.

Hello it's my turn a lot of these sound negative but i genuinely think chilling with these guys watching garbage would be fun and also idk if these are supposed to be like romantic or not. But i hope they're good

Adventures of Maern - Chapter 6: Reflection

Since the last update, Sister Maern reached endgame. Sadly, I did not take much notes + didn't play ER for a few months after. As a result, this journal is mostly reflection and not a specific breakdown of end-game.
6.1 TIME FOR REFLECTION
One thing that became clear attempting at this co-op build is that a dedicated healer in ER is a very flawed concept.
EMERGENCY HEALS
Emergency healing assumes 3 things - position, timing and coordination. Achieving position and timing could be best done by closely hugging allies at all times - but is that fun? I personally found it draining...
- Constantly trying to 'hug' a host also removes the ability to split attention, arguably the strongest advantage in co-op (both in PVE and PVP). - Its also much harder to do in late-game, where monsters have more complex/faster movements. - Another strange issue was that - because monster attacks have multiple ways of being countered; dodging/running in a way different to an ally often leaves you out of position to heal.
As for coordination; taking to public co-op maybe wasn't the best idea. If someone takes life-threatening damage - they're just going to flask. No-one (rightfully) assumes that a random gold-phantom is playing a dedicated healer.
SLOW HEALS
Maybe the better idea is to provide slow heal/regeneration, save your friends on flask charges? This it turns out, was the more flexible/generally applicable use for a support character.
- Regen buffs are static value healing. Stronger at lower levels due to Hp being lower, also less flask uses available. I found regeneration buffs to be useful all game, absurdly good IMO at low levels. - Theres alot of small damage sources (poisons, projectiles etc). Not worth spending heal flask to stay topped of all the time, but a really good place for slow regen to keep one's Hp at full.
Despite all this, bringing a regen incant may not be that big of a deal. Heal on kill effects and warming stones are a common sight in public co-op, requiring little to no character specialisation to use.
- IMO, regen incants are still the most convenient way to access over-time recovery - Warming Stones to after all require players to stand still. They also stack, so you could also just bring both.
OTHER BUFFS
The main ones are the barriers and Golden Vow. Not much to say other than; great in PVE. Like regen buffs, these effects dont scale in any way.
OFFENSE
While we ran Blackflame effects initially for theme reasons, it ended up being effecient PVE damage. This was due to monsters having more hp in co-op + Blackflame having a %max hp burn effect.
Black Flame Tornado (BFT) Will single-handedly cover boss damage in the lategame. Takes some positioning and planning to use, but absurdly good vs everything. Black Flame Ritual (BFR) Better in PVP than BFT. The lingering fire circle helps with zoning, not needing to channel is a lifesaver on a low-poise character like this one. Scouring Black Flame (SBF) Nothing great about this one, but I do enjoy it. Takes some manual aim, as the flame always rise with travel distance. Occasionally causes a 'double hit' on enemies. Can be acquired earlier than BFT/BFR. Black Knife Weapon Art Another good one, the '%Hp Cut' effect is a great bossfight debuff. While you can try to spam this, I didn't enjoy the playstyle + it eats into Fp that could be used for heals/buffs. Great opener to help againt late-game boss hp.
Weapon wise, Scythe had some intresting upsides. Scythe swings often have natural hyper-armour, helping mitigate the low character poise.
- Combined with wide sweeps and good stagger, Scythe was a good weapon to handle groups of small agressive monsters (ie. rats/dogs). - Having natural bleed status was minor. Between stopping to cast + not being bleed focused; bleed procs rarely happen on anything thats not a large and immobile boss. - Grave Scythe is better in every way except weight, but farming in ER is a pain, so I did not use it.
SYNERGIES
By far my favourite tool in this build was the Ritual Shield Talisman (+Absorption on Full Hp) + Regen effects.
- A common pattern in combat is: dampen the first hit + regen to bring you back to full. Since the first hit is reduced, you regen to full faster, gaining back to bonus. Exceptional on slow, hard hitting enemies.
That said, this combo does take a talisman slot and is not great in scenarios with status or just vs multi-hits generally.
6.2 LESSONS
Since 'non-scaling buffs' ended up being the best aspect of the character, it brings up the question of faith-hybrid/faith dip support builds.
The other big takeway is that ER late-game is just not the place where a healer shines. Monsters are faster, players are not lacking in healing resources. In addition, most of the lategame co-op is boss kill centric, while this character's focus is 'adventure endurance' in dungeons.
Were I to recreate this character, a mid level (60, +12/5) setup would be better. Strike a balance between having interesting tools, long dungeons and a place where having healing spells are still a great addition.
Its been fun.

Recently, there was an unfortunate kerfuffle with Boun’s official fan club, and since misinformation keeps spreading, I’d like to try and head off more rumors before they start.
Off the bat, Boun himself wasn’t involved at all. People are saying he escaped to Korea (🤦🏻‍♀️) for good (😐) to avoid legal problems (🤨), and I just…don’t even know what to do with that. I know it's a challenge to stay informed in a fandom where you don't speak the target language, but please use common sense.
Boun is in Korea on vacation with his manager Dao and his friend/fellow actor Yacht. He hasn't shared his return date with the public because it's a personal trip and he shouldn't ever have to do that…not because he's escaping the law or whatever goofy Wattpad premise people are spreading around. Considering the extensive visa procedures Thai nationals need to go through to visit South Korea as tourists, this trip was probably planned long in advance. The timing also makes sense since Boun just finished his part in filming EvenSun and he hasn’t traveled outside Thailand for fun at all in over two years. He probably didn’t announce this trip until he was about to leave because it’s a private vacation.
So!
What happened?
My answer: it’s complicated and I don’t know all of it. What I know for sure based on official sources is that the fan club One Always Boun upset many fans over the past few years doing things like mishandling money donated by fans, so Wabi Sabi has terminated their role as his official fan club. They will decide on a new official fan club at some point and the admins of that fan club will be under much more rigorous scrutiny than OAB was.
I learned a lot of what was angering Thai fans about OAB by going through the hashtag #วาบิอย่าปล่อยเบลอบ้านไม่ใช่เจ้าของด้อม, so I recommend having a look there for receipts and personal accounts from Thai fans themselves. There are claims that OAB treated other fans sarcastically and dismissively in the official fan club’s Line group chat, gave Boun very low-priced food support (fast food) compared to the amount of money OAB accepted, didn't set up a booth for him at the 7Project event even though he was one of the biggest names there, etc.
OAB's admins have also been demonstrably cruel about Prem, and this is something I saw from the sidelines back in July of 2020. An admin essentially told the Line group chat (which can hold a max of 5000 people) that they didn’t like Prem and only wanted to support Boun. There are screencaps on Twitter, and if I find them again, I'll edit them into this post. Since they said this in the main group chat, it was almost guaranteed that Boun himself would see it, and he did. I don’t know all of what went on, but it did seem to have an effect on Prem himself, and LazySheep offered to take him out to eat shabu-shabu to comfort him.

I can’t translate Sheep's tweets with more than auto-translate, but it seems she was encouraging the two of them as well as remembering a day when either Boun or Prem asked her if he'd done anything wrong. The tweet is (probably intentionally) vague, but considering how focused that entire day was on the incident, it seemed to be about the fan club's treatment of Prem. Either of them thinking they did something to deserve that is heartbreaking to me.
She tweeted a lot of support for them both that day, and they both seemed to appreciate it.

One Always Boun smoothed over the incident by saying that the admin in question was sorry. Some fans wanted the admin removed, but that didn't happen. In the years since, according to fans in the hashtag, OAB admins have gone so far as to crop Prem out of photos and to only post Boun-specific hashtags during BounPrem events.
Things continued on, and OAB was named Boun's official fan club in 2021.
On May 7th, 2022, OAB announced some troubling information about the donated money they'd been entrusted with:

By their own official admission above, they mishandled donated funds and apparently only admitted to it months later once they were caught.
So, with all of this under consideration, Wabi Sabi have made the decision to terminate them as Boun’s official fan club.

So again: Boun wasn't involved.
It was his fan club.
It's my understanding that OAB’s admins were at one point Boun’s earliest fans from when he was very young. So when he apologized:

it wasn't an admission of wrongdoing. He was probably just feeling generally miserable about the whole situation and felt he owed everyone an apology for the trouble caused under his name. People who had supported him for so long managed to cause so much harm to others, and while this is just conjecture on my part, I imagine he wasn't in the best mood when he posted this to his IG story:

It's possible that it's a coincidental match of the kind of photo Prem posted back in July of 2020, but he was definitely sad at least.
So, that's all!
Boun's in Korea on vacation doing touristy things with his friend and manager, and he'll probably be back in a few days, since their vacations seem fairly short in general. Prem has one more day of filming for EvenSun on the 15th, and he seems to be fine as well.
No one's running from the law, Between Us isn't canceled, and LazySheep deserves a lot of love for how well she looks after her actor children.
