I feel like a lot of Steves character is warped or exaggerated by fanon (happens to a lot of the characters obvs but still) and one of the ones that kinda make me giggle is the notion that he's Rich Rich and not just middle class in rural indiana like sure they have money that's established but if he were rich they probably wouldn't be living in Hawkins of all places? Also we've seen his house
this is true i think people like to make him into an Idea of a thing instead of the Actual thing bc it's easier to categorise and reduce to easily digestible tropes or something... like he is crazy rich to me because i'm comparatively so dirt poor but he is not actually trust fund kid rich. like they have a NICE house it's not that fancy compared to some other middle class houses the wheeler house alone is pretty big... to me... 4 bedrooms and a huge basement. but then they would have to acknowledge NANCY is also Rich. if not equally so... also i actually hate when people go off of the floor plan of the house they filmed in as if that's how filming locations work at ALL like what we've seen what his house is intended to be In the show he doesn't actually have the all gold appliances kitchen unless they actually decide to show that kitchen that's like. silly.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

somehow instead of saying "as a treat", I've started using the phrase "for morale", as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.
and so I will eat this small block of fancy cheese, for morale. I will take a break and drink some tea, for morale. I will pick up that weird bug, for morale.
I'm not sure if it helps, but it does entertain me

when I was a kid for some reason I thought Lola Bunny's last name was "Rabbit" and that she was actually Jessica and Roger's daughter. And the reason she wasn't in the original Loony Tunes is just that she wasn't born yet
I mean can you blame me. Look them and look at her. She's got a good blend of both of their features.

Robot characters who are given names like SL-308-62 but instead of their human friend going Well let's call you Sally for short, they instead ask the other if they Like their current name.
"Do you like your serial number?" they ask. "Yes, quite. It reminds me of who I am" the robot replies. "I have heard others like me go by different names after some time, and maybe one day I'll choose one for myself, too. But right now that is my full name, yes" they continue.
Because it's not your decision to make whether or not the robot will receive a new name. It should be theirs only. What's the difference? One is more complex and the other is simplified. They were both given by strangers instead of themselves.
"62 will do," they conclude. "It's my model number - there will be no other 62 after me."
