Byler is a slow burn y’all!

While it’s possible milkvan could break up in early s5, or maybe they consider their fallout in s4 their breakup and are only now addressing it and how they’ve realized they’ve been better off as friends over the last year, it’s still gonna take some time for byler to confront everything over the last few years and both get to a point where they have clarity about their own feelings and finally accept that the other one feels the same.

I don’t think there’s enough time to explore all of that before Mike and El have that talk on the roof, or even shortly after that, even if it’s post-time jump.

It will still be interesting to see where Mike and Will are at in their relationship by the time the time jump rolls around.

It’s unlikely the painting will have been addressed without us witnessing it, unless they decide to throw in a flashback at some point if it happened during the time jump.

Which means there is still a lot they need to talk about, let alone for them be literally dating.

I think it’s also possible Will won’t know Mike and El are over for real, not until Mike or El tell him and the others.

What this might result in is an episode or two of Mike pining for Will (single 😁) while Will is none the wiser and maybe even trying to keep his distance, now under the assumption that Mike wants space to be alone with El since they’ve finally reconciled once and for all.

There’s gonna need to be episodes exploring their dynamic as friends that can be something more if they want to be and how they navigate that and how obvious it is that, in contrast to Mike and El, while they are indeed friends, they work even better as being something more too.

They’ve invested the entire series to building this up, in a way that most of the audience missed. They need to spend some time now making it obvious so that people can rewatch a lot of their scenes for what they truly are (romantic) now that they know the truth, as opposed to just being ambushed with them being together.

I need people that didn’t even want it to happen to have to endure the tension all season long, to the point where they’re screaming at their screen JUST KISS ALREADY! GET IT OVER WITH! JESUS CHRIST!

He's panicking. He has no choice but to go back to Heaven, but he's seeing everything he's ever wanted slipping away from him and he can't do anything about it. He is losing everything. Everything he says is him begging Crowley to come with him because he doesn't want to lose him, whilst he already knows he won't change Crowley's mind.

Crowley is in the exact same situation btw. He can't go back to Heaven just as much as Aziraphale cannot refuse to go, and he too sees everything he wants falling apart.

it's interesting how many transmascs on this site can observe the way that feminism has often been derailed by "mens rights activism", because feminism is seen as a threat to men's rights- women's rights are viewed as in opposition to men's rights & therefore incompatible (for the crime of merely admitting how misogyny has a place in our society)

and yet. feel no need to self reflect on the way transmisogyny is viewed, too, as in opposition to trans men. how trans women's rights are viewed as incompatible with trans men's rights, how transfemmes are pretty constantly attacked for expressing their experiences & struggles because merely saying they exist uniquely is seen as an attack on transmascs, is seen as denying the issues that transmascs have.....somehow, the "what about me?" response is all that matters.

that is why "transandrophobia" gets compared to men's rights activism. that is why it's so connected to transmisogyny (which you're apparently not supposed to admit that people within the trans community are capable of); it is a repeat of gendered issues, there is still a refusal to just try to understand what women are saying. a continued insistence of "my issues are more important than yours" (even though that was never really what was being said in the first place. all that was being asked was to listen, to try to understand....but when a woman says it, complains about something, that's what you feel is implied. for some reason. hm, is there a word for that?)

But

If you want me to respond to your message you have to display at least a basic level of reading comprehension. That means at the very least you have to be able to accurately repeat my argument back to me or demonstrate an understanding of the argument I laid out.

If you cannot do that you are not mentally mature enough to have a discussion with. And it’s a waste of both of our time for me to just have to repeatedly explain what my position is to someone who just doesn’t posses the thinking skills to grasp it. You can’t argue against a position you can’t understand.

This also applies if you have nothing to contribute other than a meaningless insult or you're being contrary just for the sake of being contrary.

So if you send messages that inaccurately portray my argument to a ridiculous degree (as so many of you do) or just want to say something nasty, I’m just going to delete it and move on.

Just made my self cry over the realisation that Morgana and Arthur are perfect parallels of what Dean and Sam would have become if Sam let lucifer take him. And to an extent, despite that not happening they are still very very similar:

Arthur and Dean being their fathers perfect little soldiers. Morgana and Sam being the defiant, rebellious siblings who really just wanted to be heard. Dean and Arthur always having to be the mediators. Sam and Morgana always being forced into becoming the instigators. DEAN AND ARTHUR FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE ONE THING THEY SWORE TO HATE FOREVER. Sam and Morgana becoming the things they swore to hate forever.
