So there's implications that sometimes the aliens deliberately match up contestants with strong relationships to increase the drama and potentially get more emotional performances out of the contestants.

We also know that Alien Stage is firmly treated as reality show-level entertainment. The Segyein are casually talking about brand deals and critiquing performances while several characters we deeply care about are forced to kill to survive and sometimes watch people they love die in front of them.

During Ivan's pre-Round 6 interview, the interviewer kept needling him about his connection to Till, how Ivan felt about facing him.

The Segyein thought that facing Ivan and Till against eachother would be some dramatic storyline on the side of 'most popular season contestant against rough around the edges musical prodigy, also they have HISTORY 👀', but it actually turned in a tragic display of how this whole system finally broke Till and Ivan sacrificing his guaranteed win to save him anyway, because to Ivan, Till mattered as a person he loved and not as a commodity.

Till finally ended up as docile and broken as his owner had wanted him to be all along, and it took away his love of music while making his performance in alien stage worse (I think Till in round 6 is a good example of how 'tortured artists' don't actually always produce great or profound art from their trauma. The far more likely outcome is they just end up depressed and losing the fucking will to live kfdjks)

Meanwhile Ivan has everything going for him, he's become a popular, profitable commodity through Alien Stage, he always did what he was told and was a model pet-human, and he was guaranteed to win Round 6 with the state Till was in.

But he threw all that away to save Till without a second of hesitation. Ivan was given a choice between losing Till, a pet-human that many Segyein view as inferior and disposable, and the highest quality of life a pet-human can aspire to, and he said 'fuck you, I love him' to everyone watching.

The reason I bring up “Dolph has issues expressing emotions normally” in my last post is because I think it’d be an interesting conflict in his relationship with Bullfrog, a character whose very expressive and open with his feelings in contrast

Until season 2 comes and says otherwise, I’m pretty sure this car scene (minus Pey’J, rip) is how the beginning of their relationship will function in casual setting: Awkward silence and very short , blunt conversation

That is until Dolph finally gets the courage to open up to Bullfrog and shows his vulnerability (even if it’s just small pieces, baby steps), while Bullfrog in turn will learn to read Dolph’s emotions better and be able to make better guesses on if Dolph is ticked off or just being broody

And I think what would be really sweet is if the turning point for that to happen, was if Bullfrog made Dolph laugh

Not to undermine his depth and badassery, but Bullfrog is a goofy character just by concept of being a frog assassin with the cutest anime eyes around, so it’s not hard to imagine he’d be able to get a chuckle outta people

Dolph however, as we established, rarely allows himself to express his feelings fully (besides anger maybe) so it’d be a miracle to see the man smirk, much less laugh at anything , as part of his brooding bad boy anime image

I think it’d be really adorable if Bullfrog made Dolph laugh and smile, and that was the moment that really kick started the two into becoming closer after so much time unable to read each other (bonus points if whatever Bullfrog did was unintentional and seeing Dolph be happy gave him butterflies in his stomach)

........You know if we play around with the timeline we could have Danny and Jason die at the same age. Sure Danny half died at 14 and Jason at 15 (according to sources) BUT what if they died at the same age... on the same day...

And what if we make them twins.

Only instead of Danny being the one adopted it was Jason... only he wasn't adopted but stolen the night he and Danny were born (funnily enough they were both born in Gotham because Maddie refused to miss out on a Ghost convention happening, believed she had a few more months to go before their birth but twins are notorious to be born early). He was stolen by Sheila to pass off as Willis son (the one she had either never was real or the baby didn't live long) in order to get money from him and she ran off the moment the cash was in her hands. Willis, never thinking different due to a very convincing fake birth certificate or had the cash to do an DNA test, took Jason in believing he was his son.

The adult Fentons tried everything to find their missing son but due to Gotham corruption and dead ends had to leave the dark city and grieved over him. It's why Jazz took over taking care of Danny when he was a baby/toddler for a while, their parents sometimes felt to heartbroken when they would look at him and know they're was supposed to be an identical one with Danny. It got easier over the years though.

It would also explain how Jason would come back after dying, he was exposed to high levels of ectoplasm along with Danny when Maddie and Jack would experiment with the stuff, and unlike Danny who was immediately brought back by the portal zap its why Jason took longer to come back.

Basically a twins AU where Danny isn't adopted, it was Jason (he totally has Jack's strong build and height btw after he takes a dip in the pit, and Maddie's smarts has always been there) and I felt like wouldn’t it be something if they both were born and later died on the same day because they’re twins.

Wondering if part of the reason Stein created such unique soul resonance techniques is because he can never do Genie Hunter... Like, he has the wrong soul type to do the move, it's impossible for him.

For all that Stein is...he's still deficient. Lacking. He'd see it as just another thing wrong with him, a weakness. So tries to overcome it in his own way, just like everything else.
