I drew this original comic based on @jimabernethy ‘s dives with lemon sharks and his accounts of lemon sharks ‘getting jealous’ of him giving affection to the tiger sharks.

I admittedly neither anticipated how much that comic would blow up and circulate the internet, nor how many people would unfortunately repost and steal that comic.

I drew this in college, and I think it deserves a little update!

lol kisame is just so funny. he's the friend-killer and all .. but he's also the friend-appreciator? lol. like when deidara blows himself up and its said that both sasuke and tobi most likely died in the explosion, he doesnt just mourn tobi's loss .. and says that he'll miss him bc he always raised everyone's spirits "in this gloomy organization" (lmfao) but he also seems very empathetic towards itachi. he asks him what he feels abt this .. if sasuke had actually died. he watches him as he stands kind of dramatically looking up into the sky while its raining and tells him that the rain on his face makes it looks like he's crying ... like he's genuinely a good friend i think lol. and he's sensitive and he cares abt what his partner is going thru here

1) imagine for me. As always. Tiny baby jellyneil he's SO tiny 😭

2) octopus makes me think of squid and now I'm imagining baby squean (squid Jean) being hand-cupping size like Neil and crying a little

3) I actually have no idea who if anyone would be an octopus, I know we haven't decided on a couple of the foxes but none of the options I've considered so far have been octopus - not that none of them can be, it just hasn't been in my brain! But tiny mers live in my head CONSTANTLY augh I love them
