So I was listening to Main Character by Will Wood with my boyfriend and when the lyrics "...god forbid I'm seen just as an average human being. Imagine if portagonists just died in the first seen..." I looked at him and said, "What if I wrote a book that made it seem like it was focused on the protagonist but then I kill him and reveal the book is actually about the antagonist."

My boyfriend looked me dead in the eyes for a few seconds and then said, "You just described the plot of Megamind."

I was so upset 😭

I thought I had just come up with the revolutionary book plot that I felt so smart for coming up with and it was just the plot to Megamind ☠️

Me: Yeah, one of them was in the middle of class even.

Me: Yeah, when I was in cadets I got in trouble for fainting, so I learned how to do so without drawing any attention. Sometimes I don't even fall over anymore.

Prof: ...congratulations, that is the most terrifying sentence I have ever heard.
