OK SO my current theory is that Alecto was involved in Samael's death. Mostly because John rarely lies outright when he can tell a half-truth. He says that "she panicked halfway through" and "I killed him for her benefit, and she knew that at the time", and I'm inclined to believe there IS something there.

We don't know for sure that Alecto was there to witness Anastasia's failed Lyctorhood attempt, but I can't imagine she would have reacted positively if she had. Augustine and Mercy are fucking terrified of her + the fact that some of Alecto's first words to Harrow are "I'm sorry about Samael" suggest that he's on her mind whenever she thinks of Anastasia, and I sensed some guilt there. TO ME, she had a role in Anastasia's failed attempt and made it worse, and that's why she's sworn herself to the service of Anastasia's line.

Also — and this is pure speculation on my part — but in my opinion, Anastasia was one of the first ones to attempt Lyctorhood. It might have been even before Cristabel and Alfred's suicide pact, but I believe it was definitely before Pyrrha was killed by G1deon. Augustine and Mercy had their hands forced but Pyrrha went into it with clear eyes, and I really think everyone else wouldn't have followed suit killing their cavs if they didn't know for sure that there was no other choice. Anastasia took her time and reserched it thoroughly, and I can't imagine the others just committing murder while she scienced way in her lab?

I think Anastasia's failure is what made everyone else believe that there was no other choice, and that there was some time in between Samael's death and the Lyctors leaving the system / Alecto getting locked in the Tomb, while everyone else ascended and they found out about the RBs. Enough time that Alecto still being immediately concerned about Samael the moment she wakes up means that it's personal. To Me etc.

Okay so I'm pretty sure that keel was also a clone of Seth like pale Noel so wouldn't it make keel's children basically seth's children under biological point of view? I'm sorry I don't remember much from evillious Chronicles but it was on my mind for a while now haha

Talking purely genetically, probably? Although Keel does not have the same er, quirks that Pale Noel does (the rapid aging thing), so he has to have been some other model of clone, even if he's still clearly identical to Seth (suggesting Seth had improved more of the process by the time he made Keel?).

Does anybody else feel like the world has changed so much in the last 10 years that it is nigh incomprehensible, even though your status quo is locked in the past? And now you're scrambling to find familiarity in a world that is brand-new to you. Almost as if the past decade has passed in a flash, as if you had simply time-travelled to this point in time. Every-so-often, there is a little pocket that strikes as recognisable and comfortable, but it just seems to make the rest of the world seem that much different.

another zany fact to remember that yeah according to those character profiles mitzi Would Have It Be Believed she's at all younger than mordecai, ft. the implication that since yeah he was born in '99 & mitzi Was born in the nineteenth century too, she's either the same age or slightly older. let's go Circa Thirty Characters....which is mostly just mitzi who'd deny as much & mordecai having a couple years to go, fingers crossed. then we leap over to people born in the '80s lol
