Sypnosis: You and Ayato go to a Cat Café and spend the rest of the day there together

A/N: I've got this idea and I wanted to write a fic about it so here it is! ... I hope you guys enjoy it!

You and Ayato walk hand-in-hand into the Cat Café, the scent of freshly roasted espresso in the air. You both find a table in the second floor near the window and set up your laptops, getting ready for a productive day.

As you type away on your keyboards, you can't help but steal glances at Ayato. He's so focused on his work, and yet he looks so relaxed and content. You find yourself smiling, feeling lucky to be able to share this moment with him and work beside him.

As the day goes on, you both continue to work on your laptops, occasionally taking breaks to get some drinks and order snacks from the menu. You both seem to be in a groove, with the only sound in the room being the clack of keys and the occasional hum of the coffee machine.

As you take a breaks, you guys talk about some stuff.

"So how's your work going?" you asked Ayato as you looked at him.

"It's good, how about you?" Ayato said smiling at you.

"It's pretty good, anyways should we get a snack, i'm kinda getting hungry" you said as you suggest to get something to eat.

"That's good to hear, and yes, i'll go get us something to eat, what would you like to get?" Ayato said agreeing at your suggestion.

"Hmmm, I guess i'll get (snack name)"

"Alright, then i'll be back"

"Okay!" you said while smiling at him.

As Ayato goes downstairs to the counter to get the snacks, you saw the cats and wanted to play with them for a while

As you get up to your seat, you grab your phone so you can take pictures of the cats, you lay on the carpet they have and as soon as you sat at the carpet two cats came close to you, the other cat immediately goes to your lap, it has with white fur and blue eyes

"Oh hii" you said as you get surprised because the cat is on your lap right now

"Come here" you said to the other cat with orange fur and gray eyes as you tap the floor to come close to you

When the cat see you tapping at your floor, it goes to you immediately

"You guys are soo adorablee" you said as you touch their fur and pat them at their heads, you take your phone and take picture of them

You saw a toy beside you so you take it and started playing with the both cats

You didn't notice that while you are playing with the cats, Ayato is already setting the snacks at your table and as he saw you playing with the cats, he softly smiled at you seeing you having fun with them.

You only noticed him when he sat next to you

"Oh! Ayato you are here already" you said looking at him surprised

"Mhm, There isn't much people at the counter so I got to order immediately, the snacks is on our table" he said as he looked at you smiling

"It also seems like you are having fun with the cats"

"Of course I am! They're soo adorablee and oh I took some pictures of them" you said looking cheerfully at him and excited

"I see, i'm glad you are happy" he said softly smiling at you

"You should play with them too! Here!" you said to him while handing him the toy so he can play with the cats too

"Hmmm? Me?" he said as he look at you slightly surprised.

"Yeah! It's fun" you said.

"Okay" he took the toy and when cats saw the toy at him they immediately come to him and started playing at them.

He looks like he's having fun too as you him smiling while playing with the cats, you can't help but softly smile while you watch him enjoying himself playing with the cats

"You're right it is fun playing with them" he said as he looks at you

"Told you" you said.

You guys play with the cats for a while until you need to go back to your seats to work again

You guys go back to work again while you eat the snacks that you ordered.

As the evening approaches, you both realize that you haven't eaten a meal and only ate snacks since you came to the Cat Café. You decide to take a break and head to the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful, with soft lighting and cozy atmosphere. You choose a table outside in the terrace, and as you both order your food, you can't help but feel grateful to be in this moment with Ayato.

"The view is beautiful" you said as you look at the view in awe.

"I agree" he said as he also looks at the view.

Over dinner, you both share your thoughts on the work you've been doing, discussing the challenges you've faced and the successes you've achieved while doing your works. You both finish your meals satisfied and happy, feeling like you've had a perfect day together.

"You know love, I feel more productive and I enjoy my day more when I spend my day with you, I think we should do this more often like working together beside each other" Ayato said looking at you softly.

"I know, I feel the same thing too, maybe do this again every week?" you said agreeing to what Ayato said.

"Whatever you say love" he said smiling at you.

As the night falls, you both walk back to the Cat Café, feeling a sense of contentment that only comes from spending time with someone you love and care about. You continue to work for a while longer, chatting and sharing stories, before finally calling it a night and heading home.

"We should definitely come back here again" Ayato said.

"Indeed! because not only their foods and drink are delicious but the cats here are sooo cuteee too!!" You said definitely agreeing to Ayato.

"I agree, I enjoyed playing with them too" he said.

"Me too!" you said.

As you two leave the Cat Café to go home, you both can tell that the both of you definitely enjoy this day, you have fun and happy to be with each other's company.

You are sure that you will enjoy it again, when you both do this again in the future.

So I have been wanting to draw Arlecchino lately and at the same time stumbled upon XP-pen competition thingy of making a modern job outfit for one or few of genshing characters!

After a long consideration, conversation with friends and some sketching I ended up going with a Cigar Bar owner Arlecchino! (And the bar name is "House of The Hearth" of course...)

Why specifically this job?

- Well she is still someone in power, has her own domain, she is someone that isn't afraid to get her hands dirty and handle stuff herself. This being a cigar bar of high status Arlecchino is in contact with many powerful people. Her waiters and helpers are of course her "children" . And the cigar aspect of the smoke and fire reminiscing of her pyro vision.

The outfit design choices?

- Although a modern setting the job requires of classical attire to fit the mood. Small details of the outfit are taken from the original one to keep it to her true character. The simple but comfortable and mobile outfit helps her to stay on her feet all day if needed, leaving her movements unrestrained. Tied up hair in a bun to keep the consistent look of put together and professional

"Calm down you might think your finger is a carrot and chop it" you chuckled as you prepared the stove.

"I'd like to think his fingers are carrots and chop it" she grumbled back.

You laughed at her comment and shook your head, "wow my sweetheart lumine what has gotten into you? This boy must be one pain in the ass if you of all people are out for his blood" you joked, looking back at her. She didn't seem as humorous as you at the moment.

"I know! He's just that bad! Me, im the most helpful girl in the world- and that's not exaggerating," she paused to proudly smirk. "but he oh my god the only thing im gonna help him with is burying himself 6 feet underground" she gritted her teeth, slamming the knife harder into the chopping board.

You nervously chuckled, moving towards Lumine and placing your hand on top of hers. Stopping the knife in place.

"Lumine I think i'll do the chopping"

"Okay, I'll start cooking then."

You boarded the train on the way home, unfortunately, your classes ended at the same time rush hour began. The train was packed with people, and you had to stand in the very middle of the crowd while holding on to the hanging strap.

You clutched your bag tightly to your side to avoid getting robbed, keeping a close eye on your belongings. Train rides were rarely enjoyable at this hour, and sometimes you'd wait for a less crowded train to come by so you wouldn't have to be so cautious of everything. Today though you had to get home as soon as possible, so you unfortunately didn't have a choice.

You felt a hand brush the side of your thigh, instantly freezing up you looked at the direction you felt it. There were a few people stood beside you so you couldn't pinpoint who the hand belonged to.

It could've been an accident, you thought, taking a deep breath to try and relax.

But then it happened again. This time the hand stayed by the side of your thigh a little longer. You weren't gonna take any chances so you quickly moved away, harshly bumping backs with someone as you did so.

"oh shit! i'm so sorry" you apologized, turning around to face the person you bumped into. He looked like a boy your age, wearing a stylish black outfit. He had bluish-purple hair that was styled in an interesting yet suiting haircut choice, and he had deep violet eyes that you would find beautiful if he wasn't glaring at you with them at that moment.

"there was a creep at my last spot i had to move away-" you rambled, fiddling with your fingers nervously. You furrowed your brows when he looked away from you and out the window he was stood beside.

ok well that's that I guess, you shrugged. Turning to face away when he said something that stopped you.

"hold on to the hanging strap the next stop is coming" he flatly stated, moving his hand to the side to provide space for yours.

"no it's okay-!" you said, knowing that if you held on to the strap your hands would brush. heh brushing hands with a hot guy your age doesn't sound that bad.

"I said hold on to it." he grabbed your wrist and raised your arm so your hand can grab the strap. As soon as you wrapped your fingers around it his hand let you go before instantly grabbing on to your shoulder as the train made an abrupt stop.

You yelped as your body jerked forward slightly, without his hand on your shoulder you would've crashed into him.

"you didn't give yourself time to prepare for the stop. how often do you ride a train?" he asked judgingly, pulling his hand away from your shoulder and shoving it into his pocket.

"look a lot has happened in this train in the spam of 3 minutes okay" You huffed, pressing your lips together as he laughed.

"too much for your little brain to handle?" he said, tilting his head to the side. What kind of comment was that?

You furrowed your brows, an unamused look on your face. "what's your name?" you asked. "why should i tell you?" he answered. "damn that's a stupid name" you replied sarcastically. "well, what's your name then?" he mockingly said. "better than yours" "that name is even stupider"

"you met a cute guy on a train, had an actual interaction with him, physical touch too and you didn't give him your number, your actual name or like anything?!" Lumine exclaimed, shaking your shoulders aggressively as the two of you sat on your bed.

"well he didn't give me his actual name either!" you defended, "... which i guess isn't a good thing either UGH" you collapsed backwards, looking up at the ceiling. "There goes my chance in an epic collage love story"

Lumine grabbed your hands and pulled you up, you slouched limply and stared at her as she grinned. "your taking that train same time every time you go home"

"what?! but i hate rush hourrrr" you groaned, letting your back fall backwards only to be stopped by Lumine who pulled you back in place.

"okay but from what you shared it seems he's used to using the train sooo, who knows you might bump into him" she teased, giggling excitingly. Who knows what fictional love stories were brewing in her head.

You rolled your eyes, though the thought of it actually working lingered at the back of your mind. On the other hand you knew that if you wished for something to happen it never really does. So in that logic, you are never going to see him ever again.

"it's never gonna happen lumine I'm just gonna put myself in unnecessary danger" you mumbled, sighing defeatedly.

Lumine pouted before letting go of your hands and getting off your bed. "stop believing" she said as she exited your bedroom door.

your head jerked upward and your brows furrowed, like a deer caught in headlights. "what?!" you shouted at her, hoping she'd hear.

You couldn't stop believing.

For the past week you've been riding the train home at that horrendous time just to try and bump into the boy again. you would look around and delusionally think some random guy with the same figure as him is him, like an idiot.

You got off the train but instead of taking the rout home you stopped by a cat cafe that newly opened. you liked cats, cats make you feel better. Drinking a nice warm drink while petting a cat sounds nice.

You entered the cafe and was greeted with a warm but colorful atmosphere and lots and lots of cat, or paw shaped decorations.

You order yourself a drink and a slice of blueberry cheesecake, sitting down on one of the tables closest to where all the cats were.

a black cat approached you meowing as she brushed herself against your leg. "hi there lovely" you smiled, bending down to pet the cat. The cat nuzzled into your touch and your smile grew even wider. Cats made your insides feel fuzzy.

You picked up the cat and placed it on your lap, stroking its fur as your other hand took a look at the tag on her collar. "it's nice to meet you berry" you cooed, scratching the back of her ear.

After a few minutes of petting berry and a few more cats while also trying to eat some cake the bell by the door chimed and you looked up to see who had entered.

"Cross the street, turn right, go straight, take another right, okay, I got it," I quitely recite while traversing the streets. I won't get lost. I admire the new buildings around the city along my trip, imagining how familiar they'll feel once I get used to living here. Once I take the last right, I spot someone that looks like Mona wearing a hoodie. It's absolutsly time to surprise her and get her back for all those jokes she's scared me with.

I get a bit closer, and immediately start running towards her and jump onto her back, tackling her with a hug. But when I hear a young male voice come from the person I just tackled, I freeze while still on his back. I slowly get my bearings and stand up, more embarassed than I've ever been. Even more than that one time I accidentally put a photo of Satoru Gojo nudes in my presentation and forgot about it and... Presented it.

"Hey, I'm really fucking sorry I thought you were my friend, this is so awkward," I address the person I just essentially harassed. "No worries, really, I think it was funny, maybe fate made you mistake me for your friend," He laughs.

"Are you sure? That must've scared you really bad,"

"Of course, here, let me see if I can make you feel any better," He chuckles and puts his hands to his mouth.

"Right... Hey, will it be too much if I ask if we can hang out at the cafe across the street? I'd love to get to know you better," I hesitantly ask.

"Don't you have friends waiting for you?"

"They... They can wait, I know they'll understand. I'd never throw a once in a lifetime opportunity into the garbage like that, I'm meeting a new friend and it happens to be Shikanoin Heizou?"

"Interesting, alright I'm fine with that, I'll be paying though!" He starts heading towards the cafe.

I join in right behind him; as much as I'd like to complain... I did just move, I don't exactly have the funds to spend so casually.

"Well, it seems that you took a lot longer to arrive here than I anticipated, pretty boy," [Y/N]'s lips curled into a smirk as she stepped over the bodies, making sure to rub her black leathery shoes right in their faces as the sound of their bones cracking and loud groans of pain echoed through the room.

Xiao's golden eyes narrowed, "It's going to be a pain to clean this up."

Xiao was sent to go “rescue her” as she was kidnapped around an hour ago, honestly, the people who kidnapped her were quite dumb to leave their location on a piece of paper and asking for money from an obvious dangerous and rich family. The place she was kept in seemed like it went through hell and back and experienced a massive earthquake in the middle of it then was left for a couple of years. Spider webs occupied the corners of the entrance, the paint chipped off in certain places with cracks and holes in the walls. The “house” was nowhere stable.

Her shoes clicked against the wooden planks, the female giggling when she was at least an arm’s length away from him. She took half a step forward and placed two fingers under his chin, lifting it up. Her thumb brushed against his sharp jawline lightly, the tips of his hair tickling her hand. His skin was soft and delicate to the touch, it could be compared to silk.

“That’s better, keep your head up so I can see your pretty face,” A playful smile tugged at the corners of [Y/N]’s lips, her personality was chaotic and carefree, much in contrast to the male in front of her whom is against her actions. She looked into his golden galaxies, though the stars that were supposed to shine in his eyes were hollow. His cold glare hardened; any normal person would’ve been intimidated by him first glance, but it was such a beautiful sight to [Y/N].  

He lightly pushed her hand away, ignoring the tingly sensation that stung him as soon as she came in contact with his porcelain like skin. He would be lying if he said he wasn’t interested in her, something about her wildness was intriguing. Seeing her up close was certainly a pleasing sight. Her long lashes fluttered slightly, her bottom lashes tickling the slightly visible flakes of red, her [e/c] eyes full of wonders and most likely mischief.

“Your carelessness is bothersome,” Xiao’s scowl deepened slightly before he added, “And that’s what got you kidnapped in the first place.”

“But I knocked them all out, didn’t I? Besides, they were pretty weak anyways,” She laughed and tapped his nose, “Stop frowning, or your face will always be like that. And that would be a great shame since you have such a pretty face.”

“Don’t touch my face,” Xiao snarled, honestly, he could not tell if him taking a liking to her was something to regret or not.

Dating her is basically dating a bomb. Chaos and bold is what she is. But she was so irresistible to him to the point where it drove him mad, but he still kept his stoic demeanour.

“I’ll think about it,” She winked and opened the window of the room that was at the edge of the room, yet again stepping on the bodies purposely as she made her way there.  “Also, please call Lia to clean up this mess! Please and thank you!”

“Wait-” Xiao silently groaned, she was already out the window.

“Why must I deal with this chaotic creature?” He muttered dialling Lia’s number on his phone.

I sighed as I layed back down on my Bed where Kaeya was asleep next to Me, my body stiffened when he wrapped his arms around me considering I thought he was Asleep. 

 "Hi Love~" he said quietly into my shoulder, chuckling and blushing mostly from embarrassment I turned to face him. "Did I get the pretty Y/N to blush? Maybe I could.. Have a reward for said Blush?" confused you stared at him till he reached his left hand under your chin and softly pulled you into a kiss.

 Blushing even more you pulled back as you needed to Breath, he did too. "Kaeyaaa you do know you don't need to do something for a kiss" you said with a fake huff/look of annoyance. He simply chuckled at your words. "I know, but.. Where's the fun in that?" He said with a cheekish grin, 

Confused you didn't understand what he meant, that was until his right hand moved and stroked your tail. Which he Knew was sensitive. "I- mm Really?" You said as you tried to stop a Shiver running down your spine.

He just grinned and pulled you in for a another kiss. A longer one, you tried to Pull back for air but the hand on your back stopped you. Now practically suffocating he finally pulled back, "Kaeya I- *Huff* I genuinely love our- *Huff* Kisses, but please don't- *Huff* Try to Suffocate me!" 

He simply smirked as he too was practically panting for air. "Oh YN, but I loove youu" he said increasing the pitch of his voice towards the end, making you sorta cringe. Your Ears flopped down as he went to touch your tail again. You swatted his hand away with a 'Tsk'. 

 "You got me once. Not twi-" you were cut off as his hand that was behind your back started to Scratch behind your Ear. You started whining out of Fake Annoyance. "Haha, is the Oh Mighty Y/N craving.. Physical Attention~"

You started whining again as he stroked your tail and scratched behind your ear, he slowly stopped stroking your tail as he wrapped his right arm around your waist whilst his left was still scratching your ear.

He moved his hand away wich earned a Subtle Noise of Annoyance from you. Chuckling he placed his hand back softly scratching at your ear, you sighed with happiness as he continues to Scratch your head.

Which earned a Chuckle from him such is the last thing you heard before falling asleep...

Waking up you saw Kaeya wasn't in bed, so he probably went to work till your realized it was a Sunday? He usually slept in on Sundays, you were about to get up when he walked through the door holding a tray. 

Still confused you watched as he placed the Tray down and then.. "Pancakes! Thank you Kaeya, I love youuu~!" He chuckled and sat next to you with some Pancakes of his own. "Love you too! Also how did you sleep? Your Tail wouldn't stop wagging so I guessed you were having a good dream"

he teased you ever so slightly with that, blushing from embarrassment you looked away. He just chuckled again, "it's fine you don't have to tell me, just know I really don't mind" you nod as you both finish your Pancakes in silence. comfortable silence. 

when you both finished he took the Tray back into the Kitchen and walked back into the bedroom to see you had hogged the Duvet,(Or Blanket) he simply just jumped onto the bed practically crushing you in the process.

"KAEYAA!!!!"

AN / This is so. Flop to me. this is honestly filler bc i have shit planned bht i have to like make buildup to it so it makes sense!!! Okie!! This is gonna be the first chapter of the series I'll be writing, which will be called....

(note: reader is female in the story! but you can change the pronouns if you wish its okay ^^)

(note: characters in the story are going to be as canon as possible. Except for the Primordial one and some other characters! cause i do not fully know their backstories and want to incorporate them to the story as well as I can.)

Teyvat.. was a beautiful place, with seven different nations all ruled by one. The primordial one was a deity who had defeated the seven sovereign dragon-lords who used to rule the land.

After their victory, they went on to create the heavens and earth for the sake of humanity. They were a kind deity, they would help make the seven lands blossom into 7 beautiful nations which would be named..

Monstadt the city of freedom.

Liyue the city of contracts.

Inazuma the city of eternity.

Sumeru the city of knowledge.

Fontaine, Natlan and Snezhnaya as well.

As humanity started to grow and blossom as well. The God would rejoice, although as the times went on an imposter. The second one who came had started a war yet again.

The heavens and earth were starting to get torn apart, during the time of battle. Enkanomiya had fallen.. despite their prayers, the Primordial one never answered nor did its three shades.

But as the chaos continued, the Primordial one was too busy taking care of the Second who came. All the while taking care of a little girl..? They seemed to be a small little mortal child, but.. hm? They didn't give off the same aura as one..

Well, that was because they weren't just any normal child~ They were the creator! The person who made Teyvat, and the person capable of bending any element to their will. All the while having their own as well.

As to where she came from, the primordial one had no idea. But as the chaos continued, they knew he had to protect the little girl at all cost. Seeing the power they held in their small little body, surely this creator would be a good leader as the years passed.

But not to worry, they weren't the only ones keeping an eye on the little girl.

There were also a demon and an angel watching over her, who sent them-? The little girl's parents of course, sadly.. they had passed already. And these two beings were bound to protect the little girl from any harm, considering the contract they had made with the girl's parents.

As the battle commenced, the Second one was caught and captured. As the years passed on, the little girl grew.. although the Primordial one had also disappeared from her life.. reasons were unknown to her as Sebastian.

Her demon like big brother, butler. Had kept the reasons a secret from her.. all the while Leana her assistant, big sister angel. Kept her busy and away from the subject.

Everything to the (reader) was still confusing.. why did she have to train..? What do they mean about her being a creator, why were her parents no longer with her? And why the Primordial one suddenly disappeared..

These thoughts kept whirling around the poor little girl's mind. Sadly, throughout the years she never got any answers to them. (reader) merely got a few clues here and there, but they had to solve some puzzles first.

As the centuries passed.. and as Sebastian and Leana kept her hidden from mortal eyes. (reader) just continued to train hard, focus on the studies and work her two guardians would give her, improve on her talents.. sleep, and eat. Then do the cycle over again.

As the centuries passed.. and as the Archon war had started the (reader's) way of life kept on like this, that was.. until a tragic part in her life happened.

Something she wished never would have happened.

A normal day, as usual. The schedule (reader) had went on like normal, she was done training. Done improving on her calligraphy for a while. And now was outside of the adobe she and her guardians stayed in..

Just wanting to enjoy the view and get fresh air after the busy day she had..

Sebastian had woken her up bright and early.. as usual. Which did annoy (reader) a bit, but who could blame them. Having a demon wake you up at 5 in the morning can definitely make someone want to shove a pole-arm down someone's throat.

But as the female God closed her eyes.. enjoying the soft breeze that wisped around her. She snapped her eyes open when she suddenly smelt something. It smelled weird.. but her senses did tell her to run.

Get out of there... fast.

'what is that smell..'

'Just Run!'

'run..'

Standing up, (reader) despite her lack of confidence in the voice in her head warning her to escape.

She did as told anyways, running as fast as she could. Her pace was quicker than any normal mortal, but this was expected by her capturer. Who had gotten something ready just in case the 'test subject' tried to escape.

Tripping over a trap of theirs, the female God could only grunt looking down to see her foot had been caught in some rope...

'oh no..'

Quickly sitting up to get the ties undone. She hadn't gotten the chance to even do anything as the rope started to pull on her leg.

"No.. No no no..!"

This was something Sebastian and Leana had warned her about, don't get caught by anything.

Whether they be a mortal, God, adepti. And whatever beings there were out here in Teyvat.

And yet here she was her foot stuck on some rope that for some reason would not want to take off nor would the knife she had created from geo cut through it.

Whoever this was.. they definitely knew what they were doing, casting a spell on a mere rope to try capturing her. To stop her from escaping.

Cause despite her status of being the creator of teyvat, a God. Her combat skills average to a normal trained vision weilding human being.

But right now- (reader) couldn't do anything anymore.. as the smell of sleeping drugs. The weird smell she had gotten a whiff of earlier had filled her sense of smell.. slowly but surely.. making the poor girl pass out..

Her vision started to blur, and black spots started to appear.. before she had fully lost consciousness. She had noticed her capturer.. they had a hood on.. but, she couldn't see their face properly. The last thing she saw was, a grey amulet-like thing clipped onto their belt..

Was that a.. vision...? But.. it didn't have any color..
