Heya Gliph! I've got an idea.

I was wondering, how our boys would react to a reader that's a really good dancer? Like she knows all sorts of styles, either from friends/family or actually taking lessons.

I'm personally most curious to know how they'd react to more modern stuff (Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Etc.) but you can add in whatever types of dances you want as well!

If Reader can dance? Congrats. They own their hearts more than they already do.

Oh no, he’s fascinated. Different styles of movement? How the body can balance itself like that?

His smithing brain is spinning because he’s looking at it all mechanically. (He’s still just trying to figure out the physics behind breakdancing)

If Reader does any sort of partner dance, he will let them lead. He wants to learn.

(But please don’t spin him too fast, he’s smaller than them after all.)

Hyrule? Jaw. Dropped.

He’s more used to the kind of folk dances that involve jumping and spinning, so this is something else entirely.

If Reader grab his hands and pull him into a dance, he’s Immediately blushing.

He’s clumsy, but he tries. And he especially loves watching Reader.

Those two are enjoying the funnier dance moves together. If you can freestyle, he’s hyping you up so hard.

Absolutely tries to learn flips and fails spectacularly. (Reader is patient tho!)

Now Legend is so baffled. Like. What do you mean you can just do that?

The moment Reader does the more modern moves, his brain kiiinda short circuits. (Not he is not watching them hips work, pleaseshutup)

He tries to calm about his reaction, but if Reader makes direct eye contact while dancing?

Red face alert~ He’s flustered. He hates how flustered he is.

(But later, he’ll awkwardly ask about it…n-not that’s he’s interested in learning….okiemaybeabit.)

Twilight? They gotta dance with him at least once, maybe he even gets eager to teach them some Ordonian dance moves (no wave they don’t have some!). The way Reader moves is so foreign, so different, and he is mesmerized.

100% the guy who will try to join in without knowing what he’s doing.

He wants to learn-just… give him a minute to not feel shy about it.

“Alright, show me again.” Immediately fails. “I got it this time.”

(Would love to learn couple dances though. He’s all about that closeness~)

Sky…is watching..

What is he watching.

He was expecting, like, a nice gentle waltz.

But they’re moving like they have no bones.

He is stunned but also so so charmed.

“That’s… amazing.”

Probably won’t join in (too self-conscious), but will 100% watch, completely entranced. And when he’s not, he’ll join in with whoever is playing music!

With Wild, immediate curiosity.

If it’s athletic, if it’s fun, if it’s cool, he wants in.

Yes he would absolutely mimic Reader’s moves without thinking.

He’d probably be weirdly good at it too.

“This is fun! What’s next?”

If they do a fancy spin? He’s doing it with them. If they show off a move? He’s copying it.

I think he’s an instinctual dancer. (Before in the past and present) Even if he doesn’t know the steps, he follows Reader pretty well.

Warriors would turn it into a competition. If he can’t do it, he’ll find a way to make it look like he chose not to. (It’s all about that fancy footwork!)

“You have to teach me that.”

if Reader pulls out some insane footwork? He wants in.

Time I think is the only one who won’t outright gawk, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t impressed.

He watches carefully, silently taking in the fluidity, the control.

“You’ve trained for this….” he’ll comment, and that’s practically his way of saying ‘holy crap, you’re incredible.’

Would definitely enjoy slow dances, just a simple sway with a hand on their waist.

(They could also convince him to learn a few steps of something simple. Maybe. Tho not to say he doesn’t have a dance ability, I doubt he’ll ever forget Kamaro’s dance~ he’s just not gonna use it~ Ehehe)

And for before anyone says anything, He, Legend, Time, Sky, and Twi would all have a soft spot for Waltz/Ballroom.)

Here's the order, I think the squadmates would be found if they played hide and seek.

Mordin- He doesn’t hide. He says he wants to study how we all hide and react in a non dangerous but stress inducing situation. But he is actually running several bets against everyone and is keeping track of that data.

Javik- He refuses to hide, he says something about how hiding is weak and he will not practice weakness

Tali- She giggles when playing hide and seek

Grunt- he thought he was hidden well behind the counter but the top of his head is visible

Legion- He definitely would have been higher if his face wasn’t a literal flashlight

It has now been about five minutes.

Jack and Miranda- They both hid in the same closet. They start to argue about who should leave “their” hiding place. They then started throwing things and were quite loud.

James- He self eliminates. He was bored and just wanted to do better than Jack.

Ashley- She also self eliminates to flirt with James

It has now been about 10 minutes since they started

Liara- James sends Gliph to get Liara revealing her location.

Jacob- He was hidden decently it was just where Shepard happened to look

Joker- EDI helped him find a good safe spot before she hid

They’re 20 minutes into the game

Kaiden- He climbed somewhere to hide and Shepard found him while doing that stretch thing they always do.

Zaeed- He fell asleep while hiding and his snoring gave him away.

45 minutes have passed since the beginning

Samara- She felt it would be unfair to use her biotics against non-biotics.

We are now at the hour mark of the game. Javik is getting annoyed and is now determined to help Shepard find the last few.

Garrus- Javick found him. Once Javik started helping, so did everyone else.

Wrex- Is found by Tali in a small compartment. After the genophage cure, he has developed amazing hiding skills. Everyone is still confused how he was able to fit in there.

It has now been an hour and a half with three players not found. They split into teams to find them.

Thane- he is “found” by Grunt and Jack. He heard them talk about their lack of childhood and how they wish they got to experience things like this. He lets them find him.

It has been 2 hours since the start. Shepard suggests giving up and letting EDI and Kasumi win. Javik is enraged he can’t find them. And refuses to give up.

Edi and Kasumi- Javik finally found them after 30 minutes of searching. They were hiding in the same closet Jack and Miranda were in earlier. EDI and Kasumi were working together and knew after the mess Jack and Miranda made no one would think they would be hiding in there. Javik was so annoyed he wanted to play again but with his rules, and he wanted to be the seeker.

While I take some days from writing (ElderCacaoWeek left me dry) I wanted to start rambling about other stuff related to my favorite ships. Specially, their fankids. This might be a long, long post. So please bear with me and enjoy this info dump. Imma separate them in form of AU's. Like:

Guardian Of Freedom AU (ElderCacao):

Dawn Dew Cookie: The adoptive daughter of Dark Cacao and Elder Faerie. They found her abbandoned in the woods of Beast-Yeast, alone and shrivering. Obviously a faerie, they both tried to look for her parents to no avail. In the end, they adopted her. Her wings are those of a dragon-fly, her dough is light lavender with traces of blue, she has long hair, soft green eyes, made into two low ponytails, and wears a light green dress. She does have a mouth (In human form means she's mute), so she uses her magic to write her thoughts in the air. She's very calmed, and quite cold with strangers. She practices her magic with Elder Faerie and trains to be the a future counselor of both kingdoms. She thinks very little of herself from the trauma of being abbandoned. She's still curious about her original family, but is glad with the one she has now.

Choco Moth Cookie: Children made with 50/50 dark cacao beans and faerie flowers. Has a moth ruffle and antennaes, and uses his wings as a cape (mimicking his parents), short dark hair with silver stripes on it, red eyes, dark dough, his wings have the patterns of leaves. No one knows from where or how this kid got his energy. It's a bundle of troubles whenever he goes, touched everything and asks everyone. There's no day where this kid isn't smiling. Even after growing up to be a mighty warrior, he still carries that optimistic innocence from his early years. He's very open to strangers, despite all of his family's dissaproval of his actions. Yet he welcomes most of them, besides, he has the strength to kick their asses if they misbehaves.

Hate Has Expiration Date AU (BurningCheese & MysticCacao) (@burningcheese-merchant)

Molten Sphinx Cookie: The daughter of Burning Spice Cookie and Golden Cheese Cookie, with a 100% of cheese boiled at extreme temperatures. Her dough is toasted yellow, short wild hair of a light yellow (her mane), orange eyes with sharp pupils, wears a short blouse and a short skirt, all with "eigyptian" gliphs. She has no antennaes, but a tail. She's the most S.P.O.I.L.E.D brat you'll ever meet. Everyone is below her (except her parents) and everyone must meet her expectations or else she throws a big tantrum (which means transforming into a big sphinx that throw boiling cheese as fire from her breath). At least, when she's an adult, her fumes step down a little and is more conscious of the destruction she's capable of. She's always being humbled down by her parents and her fiancé... Which is the next fankid.

Cacao Powder Cookie: The son of Dark Cacao Cookie and Mystic Flour Cookie, came to be from cacao beans ground into powder. He has a dark brown dough, with a darker shade for his middle lenght hair, white eyes, he wears a light dark armor with a coat covering his head. He is very quiet, composed and thinks rationally. Prefers to hide his emotions from others even if they mistake him for someone cold. He can turn himself into flour and surprise others, being stealth his main ability. He also has a "beast form", one only he and his mother know. He's a very loved prince too, but dislikes brats. He had a rivalry with Molten Sphinx before they decided to marry in the future (Guess who proposed first)

BitterSpice AU:

Spicy Bonbon Cookie: Made with a 70% of cacao bean and a 30% of spices. She has a dark dough, hides her small red antennaes on her long and wild hair, has red fiery eyes and she's always smiling. She wears a short red kimono with flames and shorts below it, and uses a katana as a staff to conjure dark flames. She's not a happy kid, despite her father showering her with love and attention. She's trying very hard to be a queen someday. And it includes don't letting her emotions show. Most of the time she poses as a frail princess only to get to know her enemy's weaknesses. The wild spices obeys her commands as well.

Korintje Cinnamon Cookie: Made entirely of this spice. Her dough is a very dark red covered in war tattoos, with long silky hair and small antennaes coming out of her, she wraps her chest with bandages and uses a long skirt. She is a wild one, some times even behaving like a wild animal due to how she was raised. Deep inside she's a cutie pie, but she has layers of hard dough that works a shield from both physical and mental attacks. She's dumb, very much so, but her insticts are sharp. She can also hunt pretty well on her own, mostly thanks to the fire powers she got from her papa. She can light up her fists on fire and actually run in the air lighting up her feets on fire.

Hello, I noticed your inbox is open so I'm hoping to make a request if you're not too busy that is. But before I do I just want to say I LOVE your work, unfortunately when I first found you your original blog had already been gone so i was unableto see all your works and art, but luckily I was able to find some reblogs of your work and I became a huge fan. May I request reader who likes to sing? Maybe they became the bard of chain to help make money? Thank you very much for your time and please keep up the phenomenal work and make sure take care of yourself.

Oh a reader who can sing would be a little bit tricky for the Chain. Not because some member of the Chain dislike songs or singing, but for other, more irrational reasons.

On the one hand, they would love the fact that you care enough about them that you’d utilize your lovely singing voice to help make money to support the group. It just proves to them how kind and amazing you are.

The sheer pride that would fill them seeing crowds gather around you in towns to hear you perform dwarfs the pride they have in themselves for saving Hyrule. If they could they’d show the world how incredible you are, even if the praise you’d receive will never quite be good enough in their eyes.

But on the other hand, when they start becoming more and more possessive, a certain jealousy starts to fill them when they see other people - strangers, no less - listening to you sing.

It’s selfish, they’ll admit it, but they feel as though they’re the only ones who deserves to hear your beautiful voice. Other people wouldn’t be able to appreciate it, appreciate you, in the ways you deserve. They couldn’t care less about the money your singing brings in, they’d rather have your singing be featured in private performances with them as your adoring audience.

But one does not simply cage a bird and expect it to sing on command, Gliph was the one who made that point, so it’s fuzzy whether or not they’d actually succeed in this or if they compromise with you.

Bonus, some members of the Chain have some connections to music and singing.

Based on Jojo’s July art, we know that each member of the group can play at least one instrument so no doubt they’d provide instrumentation to your performances.

Sky specifically seems to be the one who plays his Lyre regularly as a hobby while the others bring out their own for special occasions, so he doesn’t hesitate to play along to whatever song you decide to sing absentmindedly or hum along to.

Meanwhile Jojo said herself that Wild can sing so he’ll totally have a duet with you under any given circumstances. Personally, he doesn’t believe his singing can hold a candle to your own, but that doesn’t mean he shies away from the chance to have a romantic duet or just a silly fun one.

Also, I don’t think Legend has as much baggage from Marin by the time he’s fallen for you, he would’ve healed enough to let go of her bit by bit, but his reaction to your singing was definitely interesting.

In the beginning, he wouldn’t mind you being musically inclined and humming or singing little tunes every now and again, it’s not like every instance of song would remind him of her. But as time goes on and his attachment to you becomes much more romantic, he’ll wonder if he’s essentially *replacing* Marin by loving you.

This plays into his mini arc about not pushing you away and accepting his own feelings for you, but for a time he’ll act annoyed whenever you sing and maybe even say that it annoys him in an effort to stop the conflicting emotions going through his head.

Of course, the moment you get angry at him, or worse, stop singing around him, the guilt and regret will come crashing in and weighing on his conscious. The other heroes glaring holes into him whenever this happens doesn’t help either…

In the end he apologizes and says that he was wrong, saying that he actually loves your singing and would be blessed to hear more of it. And it’s a good thing to since he was pretty sure that the others might kill him if he didn’t, but even if they weren’t affected at all he still would’ve done it.

Artems Yule gifts for the meta crew: new outfits for all of them, hoodies, jeans, hats, and scarves all with the protective sigil they’ve been designing embroidered somewhere small on all of them, hidden inside the designs they added that subtly hint at their powers.(flames, techno gliphs, spacey portals with a lot of eyes for some reason for metaverses, a square blocky pattern that is reminiscent of training arm weights ) The sigil protects the item it’s applied to from physical damage. The outfits are purchased but Artem did the embroidery themselves.

The Crew all eagerly take these things and a few of them even put them on instantly.

The gifts were much appreciated, especially with colder months approaching.

Luz in the suneye au?

Luz in this au isn't that much difference from Canon. Her personality and backstory is around the same. The difference is how she got to the ills.

After Luz got out of the principal office in the first episode. Luz and Camila were discussing ( more like arguing) about camp in the streets. When Caleb passed by and just so happened to hear their conversation. He suggested a different situation. He shows Luz and Camila the boiling isles. Luz is amaz by the isles. ( cause of the of the magic fan girl she is ) Caleb suggest that Luz be a transfer at hexsided and learns magic and fighting. Camila begrudgingly agree. Especially when Caleb said that he and his family will make sure she's safe.

From that moment on Luz lives at the owls House with Caleb, eda and Raine and a transfer student at hexside. Her relationship around the same. Raine is a prenatal figure to. Caleb becomes a father figure to her.

How Luz learned gliphs is also different. After a week at being at hexsided is wondering if how she can learn magic when she was human. She asked Caleb and eda of what to do. Caleb suggest a palimen cause that what he uses but eda said that she wasn't really yet so that was out of the question. Then eda remembers about gliphs and suggest that then looks at Caleb " why you looking at me for. " " you don't know ene. You fight in a war!" Eda said " never needed them " he shrugged " dage I wish I paid attention when uncle Phil substitute for aunt Rosie. " she mumbleed then it hit her. " why not ask my uncle Philip!" Luz was confused cause she's never even heard of this uncle before. " Philip wittesmith..he works at the graveyard..a janitor at your school. " then she has a realization. He was the creepy janitor that everyone talks about at school. " that creepy janitor that everyone talks about! That your uncle!" Eda nodded "yes though technically he's my grate- great - grade.... a lot of grate he's grandpa Caleb's younger brother. " then Luz eyes widen' he has a brother ' the thought as her eyes went to the old man" my relationship with my brother is complicated. We don't talk much. " eda then said " ene way. He's a genius at gliphs. He used them in the undead war. He's the perfect to teach you and don't were he's a nice guy when you get to know him."

The next day she went to find Philip after school. She was intimidated by him at first given his creepy ara. She followed him to the graveyard. " are you gonna say there squirt or are you gonna help ?" He said to Luz. For that whole afternoon she helped Philip with chores at the graveyard. While their doing chores Luz noticed that this isn't a usual graveyard. There all sorts of old mechanisms, weapons and a training area. The graves were not as sad as they were in the human realm. Philip Tell Luz of the history of the grave guardians and that he was the last one. Philip has Luz help him putting flowers at the graves. When they get to the clowthorn and wittesmith section of the graveyard. She ponts to Jacob graves asking who's that ( Jacob and jays graves are bigger cause they were heroes and founded a government.) Philip looks at her and says " that my son Jacob. He died a long time ago." She looks at the date it on the grave " it was around 300 years ago!" She yelled. Philip shrugged " older than I look squirt." " and the other one. " my nephew.. Caleb's son. Hunter but he went by Jay." Philip said. She didn't press further ' I need to asked Caleb about his age.' Luz thought

After the chores. Luz finally ask Philip if he can teach her gliphs. He said yes if only she can find the mane 4 gliphs. " how am I supposed to do that?" He gave a soft smile and said " just look up squirt." He said as he turned Luz head up to the stairs then she sees the light gliph.

After she that she finds the others and Philip teachs her gliphs companions and how to use a sword. She eventually sees Philip as a father figure to. Luz basically just gets adopted by the wittebane - Smith family ( and the clawthorns to but you know that ) I mean she gets invited to dinners. Rosie makes her lunchs with marry. Marry becomes like her big sister and who she goes to for relationship advice and other girl problems she can't really tell eda . Thorn offers to beat up anybody she doesn't like. Philip made her a sword with the gliph he uses on soulWalkers dearing the undead war. Cause he made all of his descendants weapons that way.

Her friendship are around the same. She's still friends with willow, Gus, and Amity ( though Amity is different in this au Heads up) hunter is a different story .....cause you know monsters for a calte. Same thing with King

She still ends up with Amity. But it's a little bit of a slow burn. ( a little bit not a lot. I mean this ain't miraculous levels here)

I like to think that the grief of her dad passing will be more present with her character in this au. Like it the reason she didn't go out of her way to make friends in the human realm. Cause your telling me that a girl with the personality like Luz won't have tons of friends. ( I mean she's someone I would hang out with). That's the most unrealistic thing about the owl house ( my opinion). She eventually to learn to cope with grief with her mom thank to the people around her. ( thought this is just a critique I have about her character that the show doesn't do well.ill try to dwell much on that)

As said she gets a cool sword. That she can put gliphs and combo in to use it.

I still really haven't thought of a way to include her more in this au. Like is she a mane character or not.. that sorte of jig. ( maybe cause I don't really find her all that interesting. Not that I hate her. I really liked her. I think she's a likeable protagonist.)

This ain't an official of what she dresses like in this au. But I envision her wearing a crop top and bell bottoms jeans with stars. ( the reference photos.) You can't tell me that Luz ain't the type of girl who would wear crops top and bell bottoms. ( this is Old art BTW)

Appologies for suddently dissapearing i was hit with a terrible wave of thoughts-i-probably-need-to-discuss-with-a-therapist and went on a rampage deleting everything (only the posts, not the images i still have everything saved on my phone) hopefully now i can stay calmer and not do that again, in the mean time i recreated a few things, possibly finding a definitive artstyle that ill be able to stick to it, allow me to show you a few new products of my work

Now equiped with stronger magic, Nova has transformed from a simple background-less internet sona to a draconic wizard and guide, using the staff to draw gliphs and overall movement
