i've just finished my s7 rewatch and it's kinda so funny to me how much discourse people created over every bucktommy interaction when their whole arc boils down to tommy being patient and vulnerable with buck and showing up for him. like when you are not wearing shipper goggles under the name of "analysis" and don't try to reverse-engineer every word and look and shot with utmost bad faith, that's what it is. a simple and sweet story of a new exciting relationship with a guy who's understanding and willing to show up. literally the two things buck needs from a relationship but never had with his previous love interests. they are kinda sickeningly sweet and well-communicating actually lol

lil personal update!

i don't know if anyone remembers me mentioning about a health scare the other week but i had an ultrasound today it thankfully turned out to just be a cyst that they were able to drain then and there so i am feeling extremely relieved right now but also please use this as your reminder that if you ever find any lumps or anything that doesn't feel right in your breasts (or your body in general) to get it checked out as soon as you can!!! yes it's scary and yes it's probably fine bc there are a lot of reasons you can have a lump and yes a part of you will probably wish you'd never noticed it in the first place but please don't ignore it!!! ❤️

I think he might. They would be less noticeable, less severe ones, but I can imagine he might have some older healed over ones from before he was so heavily presented to the media or a few tucked away in hard to see spots. A cane can leave scars behind, and Kevin might have a few of those he dismisses away as casualties of a rough sport or accident-prone behavior that isn’t quite the truth.

Procedural Dungeon Generation

Alright~ After much work we have finally completed our dungeon generation algorithm. First, we generate the rooms, separate them using a separation steering algorithm.

Second, we generate a graph that represents connections between the various rooms

Third, we perform what is known as Delaunay Triangulation, in which we evaluate pairs of triangles and swap their shared edge if it fails a test boiled down to a simple matrix determinant evaluation Fourth, we construct a Graph of connectivity from the Delaunay triangulation

Fifth, we perform an A* pathfinding algorithm to connect points on the delauney triangulation through the neighborhood graph

Finally, if we didn't traverse through a room, we can remove it to simplify the dungeon into something a little less dense

There are some extra things we can do here and there, and bugs and edge cases to iron out here and there, but for now, we have a pretty neat little dungeon generator. The next step is to actually procedurally generate the rooms and then use the connectivity graphs to implement game logic and whatnot, but that we will save for another time.
