With the PFO (if you're still doing that) do you mind if we check in with the other Weasleys and see how the likes of Molly, Arthur and the three eldest are handling it? As well as our friends on the other side of the veil?
•Arthur is so confused by the whole thing, like the man has no idea what is going on but this thing has made the Wizarding World so happy so he doesn't mind it. Personally though, he never thought James would date Snape, not because of house rivalries or the petty fights they had, but because he was so sure that James had a crush on Regulus & Lily.
If James was an ex of any Slytherin it would have been Regulus. He keeps this to himself though.
•Molly forbids talk of the PFO at the house. Look Molly loves he kids but she can be a bit overbearing when it comes to what she thinks is good for them. She dislikes the PFO because there is no way James Potter would date a former Death Eater! She thinks it's slander especially all the talk about Dumbledore.
She doesn't say anything when Harry is around though, she just thinks he's confused.
•Bill has a slight interest in it but not enough that he's caught up. When he hears new things he's always so surprised and immediately tells the Goblins what he knows. Look the Goblins don't care for Wizarding Affairs but they do like gossip and this is some juicy gossip.
•Charlie is INVESTED in the PFO. He demands that Fred and George keep him updated and he obviously shares everything with those at the Dragon Sanctuary. Even the dragons....
•Percy pretends he doesn't care about it when he's in Hogwarts but he can't deny being invested when Wood would bring him any updates. He gets updates when he leaves from the twins of course even if he pretends to be uninterested.
•Fred and George looooooove the PFO. They are the main sources that share the drama and latest updates before the magazine is made, and yes they were a big part of making the magazine. They love it because of the reactions and they love making people laugh and smile and this makes that happen and they are so happy to he apart of it. Fred especially loves talking about it with Harry.
•Ron is probably the biggest fan of the PFO. He loves gossip and this gossip is so fun and he gets to make so many friends now. Like yeah he was wary of the Slytherins but then he saw how excited they would get over the PFO and yeah he bonds with them over it.
•Ginny is much like Ron. She freaking LOVES the PFO. It was one of the only things that brought her happiness during her first year at Hogwarts.
~Friends on the other side~
•James is so mad that people think he would date Snape but goddammit he can appreciate how his son is basically pulling the biggest joke ever on the Wizarding World and Snape. He's a little proud.
•Lily is having the time of her afterlife. Oh she loves it.
•Regulus also is having the time of his afterlife especially when he sees his brother get pulled into everything.

I cannot help feeling like the tendency to see Inquisition!Leliana in stark contrast to Origins!Leliana has led to some people forgetting what... Leliana is actually like in Origins.
In fairness, as in all Dragon Age games some very revealing character moments happen in party banter which makes it easy to miss. But the gentle-hearted mystic who desires only to draw others unto the love of the Maker has never been all that Leliana is, and it's always been in direct conflict with the side of her that is not only adept at intrigue and yes, violence, but enjoys those things. This is the central conflict of her whole character, and it's not a trivial conflict, because there is not one simple answer to who Leliana truly is. She is both of these things. She is deeply religious and finds comfort in her faith, and thinks it should bring comfort to others as well. She's also prone to gossip and pettiness and all the qualities that helped her thrive as a bard.
There's this one particularly revealing piece of banter with Alistair if the Warden is in a romance with Morrigan:
Alistair: So have you heard? Morrigan and him are... you know. Leliana: Have you nothing better to do than to spread idle gossip? And besides, he can probably hear us both. You're not being very discreet. Alistair: No, look, he's not even paying attention. Leliana: Hmmm. maybe. You don't... think that he's serious about it, do you? The woman is a vile fiend. Alistair: Well, look here, now who's an idle gossip? Me-ow! Leliana: You're the one who started this, I might remind you. And I'm... well, I'm ending it!
I once had the especially entertaining experience of getting this banter, and minutes later hearing Leliana turn to Morrigan to give her the "It's so nice that you're together, isn't love wonderful?" line. But whether or not you have the pleasure of hearing them back to back, I think this dialogue make it pretty clear that while Leliana would like not to think of herself as a gossip, it takes very little prompting from Alistair to get her to slip back into that mean girl persona. And Alistair (who is more perceptive than he often gets credit for), calls her on it immediately, clearly embarrassing Leliana--who realizes that her mask has slipped.
I don't think it follows from this that Leliana necessarily hates Morrigan unilaterally. There's something much more complex going on between them, in my opinion, because they are such distinct opposites in upbringing and personality. Both Leliana's faith and her life of courtly intrigue are nonsense to Morrigan, who neither believes in the Maker nor has much patience for intricate social graces (at least, not yet). Meanwhile, I think Morrigan's outward self-possession and the sense of power she exudes is a source of both fascination and frustration for Leliana, who thinks she understands power, both social and divine--but finds in Morrigan a kind she cannot fully comprehend. (I also think you can definitely feel some sexual tension into their banter, especially the much-beloved banter about the velvet dress.) Ultimately, both of them are very concerned with power, but approach that concept very differently. And Leliana responds to this clash of ideals in a particular way because her own self-image is so conflicted.
As all great Dragon Age foils do, Leliana and Morrigan needle one another, push each other's buttons, challenge one another's sense of self, and in doing so reveal one another in their complexity and sometimes in their ugliness. It is perhaps easy to write this off as the tired trope of women being unable to get along with one another, or conversely to claim that they get along just fine and fandom has fabricated the tensions between them; I think to do either of those things diminishes a genuinely complex and sticky relationship that serves to reveal a lot about both characters.

it was a beautiful and blessed day. somehow, the stars aligned, and you and shoko managed to wrap up your lectures early and go for lunch together. heaven knows you needed a break, and its light truly was shining down on you.
shoko, being a med student, had a packed timetable, and you rarely saw each other. you missed your best friend and spending your free time tutoring was taking a toll on you.
with your lunches comfortably settled into your stomachs, you both turned to your favourite pastime. gossiping.
“you know that one third year?”
“which one shoko? there’s literally hundreds?”
“the rude one, shit i’ve forgotten her name,” shoko rubs her forehead with one hand, a cigarette in the other. she puffs out smoke, manoeuvring her lips so it avoids hitting your face. “with the long brown hair? spilt her drink on you on purpose?”
“ohh you mean yorozu?” you say, finally realising who she was talking about.
you remembered that day like it was yesterday. you were sitting in the library tutoring geto when all of a sudden gojo comes waltzing in looking for him, his entourage hot on his tail.
apparently, yorozu didn’t like geto’s attention being on you (even though you were there for strictly business purposes), and ‘accidentally’ dropped her drink in your lap.
that might’ve been the only time gojo had been somewhat nice to you, grabbing a bunch of tissues from his pocket and offering you his jacket to cover up the stain.
still, it didn’t make up for the other 99 times he was a prick. and it only made yorozu hate you more.
you pause, taking a sip from your mug. “i don’t want to be mean, but she’s such a bitch.”
“she literally made fun of professors toji’s daughter who’s terminally ill, there’s a special place in hell for her,” shoko paused and took a long drag of her cigarette before continuing. “anyways apparently she’s pregnant with that one third year with the facial tattoos.”
your mouth falls open in shock, and the mug nearly falls out of your grasp.
“choso?!? choso got her pregnant?!!? there’s no way, choso would never, he’s so sweet! and if he did he’d tell me!”
“not choso you dumbass. sukuna.”
“oh,” you deadpan. “him.”
sukuna, whilst you’ve had the pleasure of never really interacting, was one of gojo’s little friends. you really didn’t want to judge people on appearances, but sukuna lived up to his expectations.
for the most part, he’d ignore you when gojo relentlessly bothered you. but sometimes you’d catch him giving you the dirtiest and most scathing looks. as if you personally replaced the feathers in his pillow with dog shit. how he and yuuji, the absolute sweetheart of a first year you tutored, were brothers was beyond you.
snorting at the look on your face, shoko brings her cigarette up to her mouth once more.
“wait sukuna?” you said somewhat confused. “i thought she was with geto?”
“they weren’t together. she was fucking both and was trying to sleep with gojo too.”
“how on earth do you know all of this?”
“gojo has a big mouth, and we have lab together.”
you hum in acknowledgement, remembering shoko complaining at the beginning of last semester, about how much of an annoyance he was.
“what about nanami?” you asked, trying to act nonchalant and disinterested. he was part of their friend group, and he could be considered attractive by a lot of people (definitely not your own words), so it was only natural to ask, you rationalise. shoko gives you a pointed look, slightly raising her eyebrow.
“she hasn’t slept with him if that’s what you’re worried about, she thinks he’s ‘too boring’.”
‘too boring my ass’ you mutter to yourself. nanami was one of the best listeners and conversationalists, you know, if not the best. and he was funny! sure, maybe his humour wasn’t for everyone, but his dry and witty remarks had you snorting ten out of ten times.
a part of you almost sighed in relief that nanami hadn’t fallen into her trap. she was beautiful and looked like a model. and whilst you were confident in your looks, you were certain you didn’t stand a chance next to her.
a sudden ping pulls you out of your thoughts. sheepishly apologising to shoko, you turn to put your phone on silent. she waves her hand at your apology and takes one last drag of her cigarette before stamping it out on the ashtray.
you quickly check the notification, eyebrows furring at the unknown number. shoko sees the look on your face and asks if everything’s okay. instead of responding, you show her the message.
‘hey it’s sukuna. need a tutor u free?’
speaking of the devil, you wonder how he got your number and why he thought to message you of all people. probably through yuuji, but he would’ve asked if you were okay with it first. you just got rid of a student, and you wanted some time to yourself. also, sukuna of all people wanted a tutor?!? he barely shows up to lectures and seminars there’s no way he’s serious about studying.
“just ignore him,” shoko said, seeing the turmoil on your face. for once, you decided to agree with her and took her advice. she’s right, you’re not obliged to tutor anyone, especially not someone like sukuna. you were trying to distance yourself from that group to avoid trouble anyway.
sighing you lock your phone, ignoring his message and turning back to shoko.
before long you’ve completely forgotten about his message, caught up in shoko’s wild escapades.
Tumblr media
it had almost been a week since sukuna first messaged you, and you still hadn’t responded. truthfully, sukuna had forgotten about it after a day or two. but then his academic advisor scheduled a meeting for him to discuss his future at the university, and he panicked, suddenly remembering his message.
‘too nice and too scared’ to refuse him his ass. nothing but pure waffle comes out of gojo’s mouth, he doesn’t know why they’re still friends if he’s being honest.
“why the sour face?”
sukuna turns to the girl lying beside him and resists rolling his eyes. he was hoping she’d have left by now, but here she was, on his bed. her hand on his chest was slowly moving further down.
“none ya business, don’t ya have anywhere to be?” he bites back.
the girl’s eyes narrow as she stares at sukuna coldly. retracting her hand, she moves off the bed and picks her clothes up off the floor, taking her time in putting her tights on.
“scan’s next week, baby should be the size of a plum, you coming?”
“’s not mine, go ask the twelve other guys you’ve slept with.”
yorozu falters, her dress still bunched up around her midsection. she turns away from him, rushing to roll her dress down and moves to the door. a part of sukuna feels bad, he really shouldn’t be nasty, but he was adamant the child wasn’t his. even at her insistence on her being on birth control, he never once went without a condom.
once she hurried out of his room, he let out a massive sigh. god, where did it all go wrong? here he was, about to flunk out of uni, potentially be stuck paying child support for the rest of his life, and loveless.
at least his brat brother was doing well. yuuji and sukuna were like night and day, but he thanked every god out there for the way yuuji turned out. sure, he was a little stupid at times, but his brother always gave it his all and had the purest heart. the effort he put into raising yuuji really paid off.
“morning kuna,” yuuji chirped as sukuna walked into the kitchen of their shared apartment. of course, he was already up and making breakfast for the two. “i’d ask if you slept well, but i saw that girl running out of your room.”
sukuna only grunted, scratching his bare stomach in response. yuuji continues scrambling the eggs as sukuna grabs two plates from the cupboards and places them next to the stove.
“dunno why you’re still with her kuna. i support all women, don’t get me wrong, but she’s horrible! the things she’s said about gumi’s sister, i’m embarrassed to know her by association!”
“s’nothing to do with me, quit yappin.”
yuuji side eyes his older brother with a look of disgust on his face. why sukuna insists on sleeping with her is beyond him. he knows for a fact sukuna has zero feelings for the girl and is just using her.
yuuji tuts and shakes his head, plating up the eggs and moving to the dining table where they both tuck in.
“thanks for breakfast brat,” sukuna says, mouth full of food,
“no problem big bro,” yuuji beams.
the youngest itadori glances at his watch and jumps up suddenly, realising the time and leaving his breakfast half uneaten. he runs into his room and comes back out 3 seconds later with a bunch of textbooks and papers.
“(name)’s coming over for our study session, she should be here now.”
you tutored yuuji? since when? just as sukuna’s about to ask his little brother someone knocks on the door of their apartment.
Tumblr media
you were feeling good today. with a lecture in the afternoon, you thought you’d fit in one of your students for an early study session, and who better than yuuji. he worked better in the mornings, and he was a pleasure to teach, so you were actually quite looking forward to it.
you knock on yuuji’s door and anxiously wait for him to open the door. you hear the lock turn, and the door creaks open; your face falls upon seeing who’s on the other side. the universe must hate you.
you’ve never once ran into sukuna whilst tutoring yuuji, thanking your lucky stars every day. but the one time you wanted to avoid him at all costs he’s there in all his glory.
there sukuna’s stood, topless and in his boxers, his bulky torso managing to take up the whole doorframe.
eyes naturally falling to his chest, you notice the tattoos across his body. the rings around his biceps and wrists, the delicious markings across the expanse of his torso, they complement the ones on his face so well, and you can appreciate good art when you see it.
wait, delicious? you snap out of your thoughts and meet sukuna’s gaze, who’s smirking down at you, having noticed your oogling. your face instantly morphs into a scowl.
“take a picture it’ll last longer”
“is yuuji home?” you say, choosing to ignore his words for your own sanity.
“aww you embarrassed about being caught staring?”
“it’s too early for this, if yuuji’s not home i can come back another day.” stepping back, you turn to walk away, but yuuji’s out-of-breath shriek stops you.
“kuna stop bothering her! ‘m here (name), was in a rush getting everything ready, just come in.”
you brush past sukuna, your elbow grazing his warm, bare skin. willing yourself to not think about it, you follow yuuji into the living room, where everything’s set up.
Tumblr media
surprisingly, sukuna leaves you both alone whilst you’re tutoring yuuji, choosing to take his breakfast into his room after forcing yuuji to finish his first. sukuna was many things, but a bad brother was not one of them you realised.
a part of your heart softened seeing him take care of yuuji, glad he had that support system in his life. but the other part of you got the heebie jeebies.
still, the last thing you wanted was sukuna to confront you about his message, knowing you had ignored it. as yuuji’s session was drawing to a close, you started forming an escape plan. if you ran fast enough, you could avoid ever bumping into sukuna on the off chance he decided to confront you. and if you just grabbed your shoes and put them on outside the apartment complex you’d be even quicker!
with your plan ready and all thought out, as soon as yuuji finished his last question, you packed up, said your goodbyes, and bolted towards the door. it was like you had developed tunnel vision, blurring everything out except the door. you were so close, and so far, there was no sign of sukuna. you could do this! you could pull this off!
“leavin without saying goodbye?”
you stopped in your tracks, recognising the irritating voice coming from behind you. maybe if you just ignored him he’d go away?
you couldn’t though, you raised yourself with good enough manners, so begrudgingly, you turn around to face sukuna.
sukuna had a massive smirk on his face. he saw the way you almost ran towards the door, evidently trying to avoid bumping into him. it was actually quite comical, to be honest.
he did feel a little bad for you. you didn’t have the best experiences with him and his friends, so it was somewhat understandable. but gojo would not stop talking about how you were smart and a great tutor, and he really needed someone’s help.
sukuna would never admit it, but the textbook and the hundreds of research papers were completely inaccessible to him. he couldn’t understand the results sections to even decipher whether the results were shown to be significant or not. and why do people accept the null hypothesis? what even is the null hypothesis? and what is that funky little r he sees everywhere?
anyway, the bottom line is he really needed the help. sukuna sighed and realised he needed to come at this from a different angle.
“listen ‘m sorry about ambushing you, but i really need a tutor.”
the apology and defeat in his voice struck you off guard. maybe you were wrong about sukuna. maybe he just had a really angry resting face all those times he stared at you like you murdered his family.
“can’t you ask anyone else,” you replied
“not many people can get through yuuji’s thick skull, so you must be one helluva tutor. and gojo'll pay for your time.”
you raised your eyebrows at that, not believing satoru gojo would be willing to pay you for tutoring someone else. regardless if he truly was, you weren't going to say no to money. especially since he was known throughout the university for his trust fund.
your shoulders dropped, and you looked up at the ceiling, trying to think of what to do. he was being uncharacteristically nice about it, and you can never say no to people when they’re polite. plus the money would be good.
“fine,” you acquiesced. “i’ll do it.”
“wait seriously?”
“yes, but i can only do wednesday afternoons.”
“perfect-“
“but not this wednesday, we’ll start next week.”
“got it, next wednesday.”
sukuna was half expecting you to say no, but he’d take it. he gruffly thanked you, saying he’d message you about further details later and left you to put your shoes on in peace.
slipping them on, you mourned your no longer free wednesdays. you’d worry about lesson plans and everything later, but for now, you needed some strong coffee to get you through the rest of the day.
what had you gotten yourself into?

No feelings involved...right?
Tumblr media
Prologue and Part 1
Warnings❗: Implied baby trapping, dubious consent. It all happens at the end.
If their current predicament could be resumed in one sentence, it'll sound like a mother's voice saying "I told you so".
They didn't plan it. It all started with a small mishap, a consequence of their exhaustion and the amount of issues going on in their personal lives. Then the mishap repeated itself, and then they decided to turn it into a game for their own pleasure, no strings attached to her. Then the game grew beyond their control and became a mountain of lies, too big to seize them.
Jisung first met her through a friend of his, and although he found her beautiful then, she didn't catch his attention beyond that. They met frecuently, since they both ran in the same circle of friends, and after one night being left alone by their drunk friends, they spent the time talking and turned out they had more in common that he thought. They clicked, in a way it's hard to explain, but just felt like he knew her since forever. They went from mere acquaintances to suddenly having her name appear at the top of his contact list along with Minho's.
Minho met her through his boyfriend, of course. He first saw her when Jisung brought her home to hang out, without even warning him about it. Their introduction was pretty formal, quick. They shook hands, made some small talk and Jisung inmediatly stole her attention again. Minho wasn't interested in befriending her and viceversa, but Jisung was their common point and she eventually became a regular presence in their apartment, so they really had no option but get along. Forced proximity and all.
Jisung has always known a lot of people, plenty of familiar faces that tend to flock towards him wherever he goes, but few of them can say they truly know him. Jisung cracks jokes, plays long with them, but rarely speaks about himself. He keeps a careful, calculated distance, because he knows that despite all those smiles and compliments, they only see the surface, what they want to see, and don't care about the rest. Which it's okay, it comes with the job, and this facade actually helps to keep undesirable people away without being rude. But she...she's different. From the moment she spoke to him and he listened, he found there was more to her than what she showed. Like him, she never allowed people to see beyond the surface, simply letting them believe the version they liked to spare herself the headaches. She understood him. And for the first time in years, Jisung felt a genuine connection to someone besides Minho.
The funny thing is that they don't talk that much, outside those events where the whole group meets and they stick together to not get bored. And when they get to talk, it's mostly about stuff only they know and deep, phylosophical converstations where they discuss the meanings of life. Maybe, if he's in a certain mood, he complains about a recent argument with Minho and asks for advice, but that's not the norm with them. When he brings her home is to get drunk over petty drama and gossip, without the others. They just fall back in the comfortability of a quiet friendship where no small talks were needed and they could simply let go of their masks.
Things between Minho and her weren't ideal at first. The few times they interacted was when she was at their flat, usually drunk and leaving a mess, and he got mad at it. He could look past it when it was Jisung, but having a stranger doing it was something else. He made sure of letting her know after the drunk haze, barely holding back the bite in his words. He expected her to get offended or feel embarrassed, but no. She never showed an ounce of shame, instead replying him with the same snarky tones, and sometimes that small lopsided grin of hers that made his blood boil. But what started as mostly petty arguments and cold greetings turned into a sense of complicity when they realized their humour was similar and they both acted like Jisung's babysitters more often than not.
Minho is used to be misunderstood. His resting bitch face, his brutal honesty, his reserved demeanour and that perpetual indifference in his face that rarely expressed emotions. People were quick to form opinions about him and not all were good. He was considered cold, arrogant, a snob that didn't like to mingle with those he saw "beneath him", you get it. Most wondered how someone so sweet and cheerful as Jisung could fall for him. It's okay for Minho, he doesn't see the point in caring for what strangers may think. The people he loves know him for who he is and that's enough. Then she came, all carefree and playful and open-minded. Jisung only spoke good things about her, but Minho knew his boy could be biased. Until they started talking and he found out she was truly different. She wasn't intimidated by him, even though he pulled the worst of him sometimes with her around, but she never reacted on it. She was quick to stand up against him, all prideful and confident. And her lack of respect felt like a wheeze of fresh air. After being constantly misjudged, it felt nice to have someone apart from Jisung that made an effort to see through his facade.
Before they noticed it, she became a constant in their lives. Even if they didn't meet often, even if the phone calls sometimes got short, she was present and they felt it. Whenever they needed a favour, she was the safest option. When something juicy happened, she was the first person they called. Even when their fights got brutal and they had no one to seek advice from, her door appeared in front of their eyes.
She never turned down, although her complaints were very much heard. She acted as a bridge between them both when they refused to take the initiative, pushing them to apologise and communicate their problems and feelings. Minho was stubborn, but Jisung could easily win him at times, and persuade them to move past it was a pain. Nevertheless, she did it every single time, to the point the walls of her house and the natural scent that filled it became so familiar to them.
They genuinely don't know when things started to change. They talked it before and both agreed she was beautiful, easy to the eyes, but nothing more. Sure, she was a vital part of their lives now but that's all they wanted her to be. At least that's what they told themselves until that night behind that club, when they tasted her for the first time and found the missing piece they had been bothering them for so long. That annoying empty space in their sex life that have appeared coincidentally shortly after meeting her..
Of course, things couldn't be the same after that mindblowing experience, not like they wanted it to either. They planned the whole affair while she slept in their arms, dead to the world. It was easy to convince her, with her body still vibrating by the last events and her mind still waking up. Granted that wasn't exactly correct from their parts, but they were slightly desperate and the idea of letting her go after that sounded awfully wrong.
And so that was the start of their downfall.
Looking back, they asked for it. At first it was all very natural. They were still friends but now they also fucked sometimes. She was open to every kink and preference of theirs, and she also introduced them to her own tastes. No commitment, no explanations expected or needed. But when their encounters became more often it got harder to stay away from her, they had her sign an NDA to continue. Which was..okay, not something they accounted for but it wasn't necessarily a problem.
No, the problems started when their feelings began to get in the way of the commitment-free arrangement they wanted.
Their doll was a gorgeous creature, a delightful sight for sore eyes, and they knew it. She was like this when they met her and they had no problem with it, Jisung even admired it and made jokes about it, about how ridiculous easy those idiots fell for her charms, scrambling on their feet to get an ounce of her attention. But at some point, seeing such scenes evoked less amusement and more disgust. And following disgust, there was something else. Something twisted and painful and deadly that climbed to their throats when another worthless scum tried his luck with her. Minho could heard this tempting voice in his head telling him to rip their guts out and Jisung imagined a number of creative scenarios where he taught that bastard a lesson.
Sometimes, those voices told them to grab their precious doll and drag her away from those dirty hands, keep her near where they couldn't lose her, which was weird because she meant nothing to them. Just a close acquaintance they casually fucked from time to time very often. And yet...
These sudden, strange emotions were translated in their bed.
The sex with her was always rough and fast, and the only aftercare that ocurred was sharing a smoke in bed over some small talk. But suddenly, it wasn't enough. Their usual routine felt short, uncomplete, unsatisfying. The mouths started to trace her face, her body, the marks they left on her. Their movements turned slower, more gentle, more precise. They wanted to see how it was when she burst in pleasure, when she gave herself up entirely in their arms. They kissed, caressed, worshipped the entirety of her skin, and they whispered words of praise in her ears for the duration of it. And when it was done, they needed wanted her close, lulling her into sleep as their arms trapped her against them.
"You're doing so, so well, doll. Can you give us one more, please? You look lovely like this."
"Look at you, already crying and shaking. Shh, it's okay, love, we got you. Leave it to us, okay'"
But when they couldn't stand that twisted feeling in their guts, after seeing some other clown trying to steal her away, both men turned animalistic on her. They were all confused at this change, and the two of them couldn't explain where did it came from. They just felt the urgent need to cover her in bites, scratches and hickeys, in every place where those undeserving eyes feasted upon. ¿How dare those assholes? ¿Didn't they know she was with them? ¿Had they no shame? ¿Did they really think they stood a chance?
"That's it, keep looking at us, slut. That's where your eyes should always be. ¿What the fuck were you thinking, uh?"
"¿You wanted him to fuck you too? Is that it? You greedy whore. Clearly we need to fuck you more. We'll make sure you can't even talk or walk without our help."
And it didn't end just there. They started to bring her to their dates, inviting her everywhere they went, giving her their clothes. They had love-hate feelings towards her revealing dresses, because as much as they enjoyed the view, they hated seeing others do the same. She became part of their routine, outside the sex part. She was always there. And as time passed, it felt like she had been there since the beginning. They hardly remembered how things were before she came.
But they kept lying to themselves, lying to everyone. This wasn't anything. They could stop whenever they wanted to. There no other feelings involved. Of course not.
And things finally went downhill when someone asked them:
"So, that girl that's always with you two, what's the deal with her? Is there something serious going on? Because you have to introduce her to us, then."
That question struck them. Brutally.
They never thought too much about it. Things with her just...happened naturally, and they barely noticed it. They simply followed their instincts at the time, not realizing the weight those actions could hold. ¿What was the deal with her, truly? Granted, she was more than just a quick fuck, but still. And what was up with them? Why the fuck did they want to meet her? She was perfectly fine where she was.
At the end of the day, the three of them moved in different worlds. There were things about themselves they couldn't tell her, things she would never understand. Maybe that was better, they thought. To keep her away from that circus of drama and lies and dirty secrets they were part of. She didn't belong there. And to keep her far away from idiots butting their noses where they shouldn't.
So they quickly defused the situation. She was just an acquaintance, they didn't really know her, yeah. They already had each other, it had always been just each other. She meant nothing.
If she did, where did that leave them?
¿Were they supposed to know someone was going to post their answer on social media? Were they supposed to know she would see it and demand explanations too?
Yes
They never saw her so angry, so emotional. She was bursting in anger and sadness and dissapointment, and they could both feel how their hearts stopped at the sight. It didn't feel right.
When she started to speak, they sort of panicked. They couldn't control the situation this time, they couldn't control her, and they didn't have proper answers for it. At least, not the kind of answers that would help them.
Most of all, they were confused. As she confronted them with facts, about how their strange behaviour with her and their motivations, they were forced to acknowledge the reality of everything.
That she meant more than they thought. Way more than they wanted her to. It was a liability. A problem. An unexpected turn of events they weren't prepared for.
And because they weren't prepared, they simply said the words that sounded logical at the moment. Cold statements of what they all knew, of what they agreed on the beginning. They didn't truly mean it, as they would realize later, but they felt cornered. And at the moment, the only strenght they could rely on was their pride.
They foolishly thought she would stay after that. That she would see their point of view and calm down.
As expected, she didn't. When it fell on them the terrible error they made, it was late. She left the place. Emptied it of whatever part of her and blocked them from her life.
And as expected, the aftermath was fucking disastrous.
Being deprived so suddenly from her presence after getting used to have her near everyday was hellish. No more calls, no more dates, no more lazy afternoons in the couch. She was gone, leaving a gaping hole in their lives that they couldn't fill, no matter how much they tried. And god knows they did.
No vice or person could replace the feelings she invoked in them.
They turned down invitations, calls of friends, choosing to stay at home and just hang out by themselves. Staying at home too long drove them insane, but going out wasn't much better. She was everywhere. In the streets, in the shops, in the people. It was a nightmare.
When a close friend of theirs invited them to the opening of club, they only accepted in hopes for a distraction, and to keep appareances a bit. But the cold, boring night inmediately acquired a brilliant colour when they saw her.
More beautiful than ever, with her pretty dress and carefully done make-up. Her damned smile brightened the whole club and, for a moment, they felt in peace. Like nothing changed.
Until they saw she wasn't alone. Her warm arms, who used to be held by them, were now occupied by other men. Some they didn't know. A pair of strangers taking their rightful places, and she just laughed and danced with them like it was normal.
They spent the whole night like that, watching her and brooding, with that familiar green boiling in their stomach. She looked gorgeous, out of this world, and it wasn't fucking fair. That should be them. She should have been with them, filling their ears with her cute laugh and letting them wrap their arms over her.
Deep down, they knew they fucked up. It was solely their fault. They had their chance to make her stay, to trap her, and they messed up. ¿Why did things have to be this way? Why did they have to realize the size of their mistake in a moment of jealousy? It was stupid.
When they saw her walking outside alone, they exchanged a glance and they knew it.
They made several mistakes, but they learnt from them. Having her hating them was better than not having her at all, so they followed.
It was so easy to fall back into routine. She was already weakened by their presence, and it was the same for them too. Some yelling here and there, insults being thrown back and forth, a bit of fighting, but they ended up right where they wanted: Locked bathroom, against a wall, and the music covering their moans.
They didn't stop until she was bursting with their cum, pushing it right back inside where a drop ran down her legs. Until there wasn't a single trace of skin unmarked. Until she couldn't fucking walk without their help.
And when few weeks later, she showed up in their apartment with three positive tests, they pretended to be shocked and made her move in with them.
They could already see the picture she would make. It was going to be perfect.
(i had this shit collecting dust in my drafts for a millenia and today i had a strange burst of inspiration to finish it. sorry for the waiting to those who asked for this part)

An AU where Obi-Wan and Satine are somehow forced into an arranged marriage post-Civil War, like Satine can't become Duchess if she's not married because she's a woman or she's too young, or maybe she decides to join the Republic post-Civil War in order to give herself legitimacy as a leader and gain herself enough followers to effectively force a peace without causing another civil war, but the Republic is reluctant to let them in and Satine discovers a workaround where if she marries a Republic citizen or something as a world leader she can use that to gain entry into the Republic. She asks Obi-Wan to help her out and he leaves the Order for her because she has literally no other options available and this will hopefully bring peace to Mandalore and allow Satine the chance to change things for the better, even though it means he loses EVERYTHING and has to give up who he is, his family, his friends, his home, etc.
And the marriage goes terribly because Satine and Obi-Wan's "tension" or whatever was basically just a trauma bond combined with teenage hormones and while he respects her ambitions, she never truly understands what he's given up for her and she doesn't entirely respect the Jedi culture sometimes and so Obi-Wan is absolutely miserable among the Mandalorians. None of them accept him, hardly any of them even LIKE him, he doesn't have any real power politically because Satine is too worried about people thinking she's letting an outsider rule through her and wanting to establish herself as a competent leader on her own, and Mandalorian culture is just so vastly different from the Jedi. There's a lot he DOES like about it, obviously, every culture has its own beauty to it, but it's not HIS culture and there's a lot about it that goes vastly against what the Jedi believe in and teach that makes it really uncomfortable for him sometimes. Satine and Obi-Wan just end up in screaming arguments all the time and can barely stand each other just a few years into the marriage, but they can't get a divorce because Satine doesn't want to admit to that kind of weakness or mistake or seem like someone who just made a political marriage for her own agenda (even though that's effectively exactly what she did, as Obi-Wan points out).
There's other tensions that come up, as well, like the problem of heirs. Obi-Wan and Satine DO try, but it never seems to actually work, and Satine's worry that she'll have made all of these changes to make Mandalore peaceful only for it to fall into civil war again upon her death if she doesn't have an heir means that she keeps trying to insist on more attempts and getting upset with Obi-Wan when it inevitably doesn't work. They end up in separate bedrooms because of this, despite the gossip this inevitably creates about their relationship fracturing. Eventually, Bo-Katan shows up with the baby she had but refuses to keep and asks Satine to raise in her place, and Satine agrees so long as Bo-Katan allows Satine to name the baby her heir. Bo-Katan agrees, and Satine stops trying to create an heir of her own in favor of raising Korkie as her heir.
Obi-Wan also keeps trying to find work-arounds to Satine's reluctance to let him help her politically. He accepts that she doesn't want him in the room when she's holding council and he can't be ON the council, but even when he suggests something as simple as just discussing things together in the privacy of their own bedroom so he can try to help carry the burden with her, Satine refuses to do even that much just in case people start suspecting that she's taking advice from him and assume he is ruling through her. Obi-Wan ends up entirely cut off from all political work and decisions, Satine never tells him anything about what's going on at all and never wants his advice on how to lead Mandalore. She barely even allows him near Korkie to make sure no one ever questions Korkie's right to succeed her or his ability to lead Mandalore.
Obi-Wan attempts to stay in contact with some of the Jedi, but they're often busy and can't respond very quickly, if they respond at all, so those relationships start to fade. Only Qui-Gon keeps up any kind of regular communication and even that is still relatively sporadic depending on how his missions go. He tries to cling to the Jedi teachings he remembers as best he can rather than assimilating into Mandalorian culture, something that further alienates him from the Mandalorian people. Satine had given him formal clothing to wear and had told him that, as her spouse, he had to present himself a certain way, which meant he could not continue to wear Jedi or Jedi-style clothing. But he continues to meditate as best he can, at least once a day, reciting the meditation mantra he was taught as a child to ensure he never forgets it: there is no emotion, there is peace.
Satine hates that he seems generally uninterested in most Mandalorian customs, even though he knows them and has studied them as best he can. She sees his continued interest in practicing Jedi culture as a rejection of Mandalorian culture and doesn't really understand Obi-Wan when he says that they often feel diametrically opposed. He cannot do both, and she's asked him to give up enough of his Jedi heritage as it is, it feels cruel to ask him to give up what little is left to him for her own comfort. Satine points out that he wasn't BORN a Jedi, so it shouldn't really matter to let go of it. Obi-Wan doesn't speak to her for weeks after that, and while she does apologize for having hurt him, she still doesn't entirely understand, and Obi-Wan isn't interested in explaining anymore, something that just makes her angry all over again and the two of them have to agree to simply never discuss the topic again.
Obviously all of this creates irreparable damage to their relationship. Satine's youth when she took over Mandalore caused her to focus exclusively on what she believed needed to be done to solidify her position so she could do what was best for her people, regardless of what that meant for Obi-Wan. She doesn't INTEND to hurt him and abandon him, but she married him for political reasons even if she had feelings for him. Obi-Wan's desire to replace the purpose he'd had as a Jedi with some kind of purpose on Mandalore causes him to push Satine to give things in their relationship that she's unwilling to give, and her refusal to meet him halfway and his alienation from her life creates resentment in him. Even as they grow older and Satine could theoretically try to rectify some of these mistakes and allow him to help her more politically, there is a rift between them that neither one knows how to cross. So they don't; Satine continues to put all of her focus on politics and Obi-Wan keeps his distance. They just continue to grow further and further apart without any way to free themselves from the black hole that is their marriage.
The one time they manage to get along is when Obi-Wan gets word that Qui-Gon died on Naboo. Satine finds him in his room after he didn't show up for something and he's practically catatonic on the floor, the room in a state of disarray. She sits down next to him and just offers him her silent presence until eventually he reaches over to hold her hand and she grasps it back. The two of them sit on that floor for the entire night until she has to leave to go to a meeting in the morning. They never discuss it.
And then TCW comes around and we're just assuming canon went mostly as per usual somehow and so the war still starts and the Jedi are leading the clone army and Death Watch has been building over on Concordia and Ferus Olin shows up on Mandalore to figure out what's going on. Ferus tries to speak to Obi-Wan because he'd heard a lot about Obi-Wan from Siri even though they'd obviously never had a chance to meet and Siri had mostly fallen out of contact with Obi-Wan by the time she took on Ferus, but he has very little time to do much more than tell Obi-Wan who he is and pass on the news that Siri had died recently during the war.
Then Satine goes to speak to Coruscant to convince them that she's NOT the one sending people to attack supply ships and she ends up bringing Obi-Wan with her. Obi-Wan isn't allowed to take part in the political dinner she has with Ferus and the other senators, so he wanders and ends up meeting Ferus's men, including Waxer, Boil, and Cody. Cody is initially more stiff and formal given Obi-Wan's assumed political position as Satine's spouse, but he warms up to Obi-Wan eventually, especially when Obi-Wan is able to sense the spider droids in the cargo area and proves himself a decent shot. Obi-Wan asks for stories of Ferus because he was fairly certain he wouldn't get a chance to really get to know him on this trip, but he'd been close with Ferus's old master and wanted to get to know the student Siri had trained in the only way available to him. Waxer and Boil are more than happy to tell him what stories they know and even Cody joins in eventually. A few other troopers switch out with Waxer and Boil later and Obi-Wan is able to get even more stories. This is the closest Obi-Wan has felt to a group of people in almost 20 years and he feels practically giddy about it.
When they arrive on Coruscant, Obi-Wan is told to stay in the apartments they're given, but when things go sideways for Satine, she has no one else she can call for help that she trusts except Obi-Wan, so he still comes in to help her with the assassins and manages to make his way into the Senate building to pass over the evidence she'd acquired to Padme, someone Satine believed to be trustworthy. It works, and Satine is able to be "neutral" in the war without having to leave the Republic. Before they leave, though, Satine tries to insist that Obi-Wan should go visit the Jedi Temple, try to see if any of his friends are currently there, just experience being there again, but he refuses. When she tries to push the issue, Obi-Wan snaps at her to drop it and insists that they just leave immediately. She does, and they leave without Obi-Wan being able to get anyone's contact information.
However, Satine is different after this. This was perhaps the first time in almost two decades that the two of them had actually worked TOGETHER on something and it reminded her of how they had used to be. It reminds her of the person Obi-Wan used to be, and the person he was supposed to become, the person he'd chosen to give up for her and her goals for Mandalore. And she hates the person she sees now, this defeated, jaded man she's helped create. So she goes back to him when they arrive on Mandalore and tries to talk to him again about why he didn't want to visit the Jedi Temple. Obi-Wan isn't receptive initially, asking her why she cares and rolling his eyes at her when she claims that she cares because she cares about him. But eventually, her gentle nudging gets him to admit that it would've hurt more than he could bear to walk in his home again knowing he couldn't stay. And it would've been too painful to see his people caught in a war that was killing them, to know just how many of his friends were now dead, and be unable to do anything to help them. It felt almost like it would've been insulting for him to have done so. Satine tells him that she doesn't quite understand, obviously, she'll likely never entirely understand how he feels, but she knows now that she doesn't NEED to understand. She just needs to accept how he feels and be there for him. She asks if there's anything she can do to help, and Obi-Wan is silent for a moment, almost stunned by this changed version of his wife, before telling her that there's nothing she can do to help him with this, but he'll let her know if that changes.
Their relationship doesn't really MEND afterwards, but it becomes less actively hostile. Satine tells him about her day sometimes, including the political things she gets involved in. She asks him questions about his time as a Jedi and listens when he chooses to say something (and when he tells her he'd rather not discuss it). They occasionally take meals together now, although they're often awkward and uncomfortable. Satine starts very VERY quietly looking into the option of a divorce. She doesn't say anything to Obi-Wan in case she can't follow through on it, but she at least wants to know her options.
When Padme shows up, she invites Obi-Wan to dine with them and when they go visit the children's hospital. When the council meets, she invites both Padme AND Obi-Wan, and it's the first time Obi-Wan ever sits in on a meeting with the council. Padme still asks to speak, but Obi-Wan tries to stay as unobtrusive as possible. Even during the rest of Satine's hunt for the perpetrator of the poisoned drinks, he keeps to himself. Right up until she starts threatening the innocent dock worker if he doesn't blow up the warehouse. He steps in and defends the dock worker's insistence that the warehouse could have evidence in it that could actually lead them to who allowed this to happen and while he understands her anger at the situation, making a statement isn't worth losing valuable time and information. Satine almost snaps back at him before his words sink in and she recognizes them to be true and she allows the warehouse to stay, but orders that it be quarantined and blocked off from the public.
Satine still wants to call for Jedi assistance in looking into the issue and Quinlan Vos is sent to help her. Obi-Wan remembers him from before he left, they'd been friends and he remembers being attracted to Quinlan and thinking Quinlan might have similar feelings back, but neither had acted on it and they hadn't quite known each other well enough to keep in contact after he married Satine. Much to Obi-Wan's surprise, he's no less attracted to Quinlan now than he was as a teenager, but it's not something he can actually act on and Quinlan is here to do a job anyway. But Quinlan remembers Obi-Wan, too, and takes the opportunity to get to know him again. His laid-back attitude and sarcastic quips start pulling Obi-Wan out of his shell a little. Satine takes a step back on this one and allows Obi-Wan to be her primary "ambassador" between the government and the Jedi representative, which allows Obi-Wan to get out and do something more productive to actually help Mandalore finally and gives him more time to bond with Quinlan. They discover the Prime Minister's secret black market dealings. Because they're still within the Republic, their supply of goods isn't actually THAT impacted, Almec is just a greedy asshole.
When Quinlan leaves, he insists on leaving his contact information with Obi-Wan and while he does warn that, due to the nature of his work, he likely won't be able to immediately respond very often, he'll make sure to always respond once he's in a position to do so and Obi-Wan should feel free to just keep sending/leaving messages for him. Obi-Wan says he'll think about it, but he sends his first message the next day. The contact is still pretty sporadic, Quinlan sometimes doesn't respond for a week or two at a time, but true to his word, he DOES always respond eventually and always seems happy to have received Obi-Wan's communications.
And then Maul invades Mandalore with Death Watch. Obi-Wan tries to speak up again when Satine says the people have made their choice, he tries to convince her that this fight is hardly over and if she was able to bring together all of the warring clans and force them into a 20-year-peace, she can fight this and keep Death Watch from outplaying her. She points out that Death Watch is armed while most of her guards were killed when the criminals attacked, but she agrees to at least TRY to negotiate and win back the hearts and minds of the people. When she and Obi-Wan show up to negotiate, Pre Viszla isn't there, Maul is, and he immediately kills her. Obi-Wan is barely able to escape because his use of the Force to hold Maul back shocks him enough to give Obi-Wan an opening and Bo-Katan shows up at the last second and gets him to a ship.
Obi-Wan is devastated by the events, obviously, he never wanted Satine DEAD or Mandalore run by a Sith and they'd just started to fix things between them, but a guilty part of him is also relieved because he's finally free. He goes to Coruscant to request asylum from the Republic and and he ends up staying within the Jedi Temple in order to receive their protection. The Jedi set Obi-Wan up with a mind healer to help him through not just the trauma of Death Watch and Maul's attack on Mandalore, but the impact of the entire last few decades since he left the Order. Obi-Wan immediately sheds his formal Mandalorian clothing and starts wearing Jedi robes again, he spends a lot of time reading in the Archives and meditating in the gardens and just wandering around the Temple and sort-of soaking up the serenity that still exists there despite the war and its effect on the Jedi. It's painful to know how many of his old friends and mentors are already lost, still, but there are still many left alive and the Temple still stands. It's still a bastion of hope. Instead of the painful visit he anticipated the last time he was on Coruscant, he can feel himself beginning to heal the moment he steps foot back in the Temple.
He speaks to Yoda quite a lot and while Yoda does ask if Obi-Wan has considered rejoining the Order, Obi-Wan isn't really sure. He'd obviously be a particularly unorthodox case since he'd need to finish (restart really) his training at a very old age and his old Master is long dead. Yoda tells him that Obi-Wan definitely isn't ready yet, he needs to heal a little more, but he hasn't lost as much of his training as he thinks he has, and after the war, they'll need more good Jedi to help replenish their numbers. Yoda promises to take him on as his last student if he does choose to come back, but also promises him that none of them will think any less of him if he decides it's no longer the right path for him to walk. Obi-Wan agrees to think on it.
Eventually, Obi-Wan meets Quinlan again and the attraction they'd once had for each other as teenagers rekindles and combines with the friendship they'd begun developing the last time they met. Obi-Wan is uncertain about having sex given that his only experiences with it have been the disastrous attempts at creating an heir with Satine that were so emotionally draining and so damaging to their relationship, but Quinlan takes it slow and makes sure they both have a good time and doesn't just walk away afterwards, but stays until the morning. They spend time training together, with Obi-Wan trying to remember what he'd been taught before and Quinlan giving him pointers and offering to spar whenever he's up to it.
One day, Obi-Wan is wandering the halls, just looking at the artwork on the walls of the Temple, when he hears someone address him as "Your Grace" and he turns to see Cody standing nearby. Obi-Wan is exceedingly happy to have confirmation that Cody has survived the intervening time since they'd last seen each other and offers to show Cody around the Temple a little (Cody's been given a tour before, but he opts not to tell Obi-Wan that, besides it's a big place and he'll probably have different places to show Cody than Ferus had). They end up spending all day together at the Temple and agree to meet up again before Cody has to leave. This time, Obi-Wan makes sure to get Cody's contact information before he goes and they continue to keep in contact with each other as often as they can.
Bo-Katan eventually shows up at the Temple and demands that he help her fix and restore Mandalore after Maul and Death Watch's takeover because he may have been an outsider, but he was married to Satine for two decades, he has a responsibility to Mandalore, etc etc. And he refuses. He gave his entire life to Mandalore, he gave up everything to try to help Satine fix Mandalore and look where it led. Satine is dead now, he won't make the same mistake twice. If Bo-Katan wants to try to fix what she broke on her home planet, she can go through the proper channels and ask the Republic Senate for assistance. He owes Mandalore nothing. Bo-Katan asks if he ever even loved Satine at all. He looks her dead in the eye and says, "Did you?" Bo-Katan leaves.
Maybe at one point, he ends up running into Anakin in the Temple, like maybe Anakin sits at Obi-Wan's table for a meal or something and he's clearly agitated, so Obi-Wan tries to be polite and ask if he's okay and because Obi-Wan is a complete stranger, Anakin sort-of snaps and tells Obi-Wan things he likely shouldn't. He's probably sleep deprived and caught up in his head and barely thinking about the ramifications of what he's doing, he's just upset and needs to talk to SOMEONE. Maybe he's had an argument with Padme or thinks she's cheating on him or something to that effect, so he can't talk to Padme and he hasn't been able to make it to Palpatine yet, so he's stuck at the Temple and Obi-Wan kind-of just ends up caught in the crossfire, for better or worse, and figures out not only that Anakin is married to a sitting senator (from a planet that doesn't allow their senators to be married no less), but that he did SOME kind of horrible thing not too long ago that his secret wife is aware of and that definitely breaks the Jedi code. Obi-Wan does his best to navigate the minefield that is this conversation before Anakin just sort-of wanders off and then immediately decides to report what he's learned to the Council.
The Council calls Anakin in and interrogates him about this and they speak to Padme to try to get to the bottom of it. Both of them deny it, but it turns out that the Jedi interrogating Anakin and Padme about it spurs one of Padme's handmaidens into finally bringing the evidence she's been collecting to the attention of the Naboo government. She has evidence of Padme being secretly married to a Jedi, evidence that Padme has used her relationship with Anakin to ensure he prioritizes Naboo, evidence that Padme has ditched her responsibilities as a senator to spend time with Anakin. And while Padme had no issue lying to the Jedi Council, especially when all they had was hearsay from one witness, she can't lie to her own government when it's her own handmaiden who is presenting all of this evidence against her. She HAS to confess and her confession inevitably brings down Anakin, too.
The Council offer Anakin the opportunity to make a different choice, to terminate his marriage with Padme and re-commit to the Order. He'd have to be removed from his position as a General in the GAR and grounded to the Temple to speak to a mind healer until the Council decided his commitment was genuine. Anakin initially refuses, but when he tries to go back to Padme, she turns him away. She chose to admit to having covered up Anakin's massacre of the Tuskens as well and that admission turned the accusations from something fairly simple to something much more heinous. Neither Naboo nor the Republic care about the Tuskens, but they do care about one of the Jedi charged with protecting them having massacred a village down to the last child and a sitting senator not reporting him for it. Palpatine has already laid the groundwork for the people of the galaxy to fear the Jedi, so this new information about Anakin is seen as proof that the Jedi could turn on anybody if sufficiently pushed. Padme is going to face serious consequences for covering it up, but the Queen steps in and promises Padme her protection if she agrees to terminate the relationship and promise she'll never see Anakin again. Padme agrees.
Anakin goes back to the Jedi before Palpatine can get to him and agrees to their terms. The relationship is over with Padme, he'll accept the demotion and the mind healing sessions in order to remain a Jedi because it's all he has left. Palpatine can't really speak to him because Anakin's basically under seclusion in the Temple. He's not really speaking to anybody. He does ultimately figure out that it was Obi-Wan who snitched to the Council about him and hates Obi-Wan for it and never wants to speak to him again. Obi-Wan has no problems with that, but he hopes Anakin figures out how to get better, that much anger can't be good for anyone. Ultimately, the mind healing starts to work. Anakin starts being just a little more mindful and starts accepting certain things about Palpatine so that when the Council offers him a job speaking to Palpatine and basically spying on him for the Council, he accepts in order to earn back their trust. Palpatine still tries to manipulate him, pulls out every trick in the book, but this time, Anakin has just enough of a buffer to keep from falling right back into Palpatine's orbit. He figures out Palpatine's a Sith, informs the Council, and ends up invited along when they go to arrest him. Palpatine doesn't survive.
And after that, it's just a matter of everyone settling into a happy fix-it AU. Anakin leaves the Jedi on amicable terms and goes off to do whatever, who cares. Padme stays on Naboo to reconnect with her family. The war ends, the Separatists probably have to realize how little of their government actually functioned and maybe gain a few clues about the atrocities done in their name. Some of them ultimately rejoin the Republic in the wake of these revelations, others refuse and try to continue their own government together, but this time they're actually able to make a treaty with the Republic. The clones are able to stand up for themselves and refuse to continue to be an army for a Republic no longer at war and the Senate votes to demilitarize. The Jedi's work doesn't end with the war, peacekeeping involves a lot more than just fighting after all and this is the part of the job all of them have been hoping to make it back to.
Obi-Wan decides to take Yoda up on his offer and rejoins the Jedi Order as Yoda's last Padawan to finish the journey he started so long ago.

PLATONIC HCS
TW//CW: ???
Tumblr media
Osomatsu is really easy to make friends with! Although this guy is an irresponsible slacker, it is still easy to start communicating with him. Of course he is a complete idiot, but this idiot values you. he often complains to you about how his younger siblings do not listen to him and he is glad that he can talk to you. he invites you over for a beer or a game of pachinko because he loves your company. when he is drunk, he can sometimes come to you, reclining on your couch and talking about some kind of nonsense. you have to bring him back home when he falls asleep.
Ooooh damn, if you become friends with Karamatsu, you will never know what peace is. This guy adores you like a sibling. Sometimes you can go shopping together and look at his new outfits, which will be DAMN painful. You are almost the only person who does not offend him and treats him well, so he appreciates you and likes spending time with you more. Sometimes he may ask about the country in which you live, sincerely interested in the culture. (he's a really nice guy please let me hug him 😭😭😭)
Choromatsu considers you better than all his siblings, so he prefers to spend time with you. He complains to you about his clueless brothers and endlessly talks about his plans to find a job (he doesn't even try). You are the only person with whom he shares his anime figures and manga, discussing his impressions and thoughts. There are times when you both manage to get to the concerts of your favorite performers, where this “serious” person turns into a crazy fan.
I have only one question - HOW. How did you become friends with such a dark and scary guy like Ichimatsu..? Seriously, he’s shocked that such a nice person like you paid attention to him. You have to invite him for walks yourself, because he is damn shy. His favorite thing to do with you is when you are in the park and there is silence, just feeding the street cats, without saying a word and allowing your mind to rest. Sometimes he shows you funny and cute cat videos that calm him down. You are the closest person, since his brothers don't really pay attention to him, and other people find him scary. he truly values you as a close friend.
Aww, you're really lucky with Jyushimatsu. he is literally the kindest ray of sunshine! you quickly became friends, as he is an open and cheerful guy. Every morning he comes to you with a baseball bat, begging you to play with him. You can just watch him play from the sidelines, he just wants to spend time with you. he talks incessantly, sharing his emotions and impressions. Even though he's clingy, it's nice to have someone who's always there to cheer you up.
Todomatsu is literally a wolf in sheep's clothing. you will meet in the cafe where he worked, when he will make his cute face and serve you, forcing you to give up your number. in correspondence, he often sends you his selfies and asks which ones are better, asking you to like them all on Instagram. In that one episode, he will still take you on a double date, since you are the only adequate person he knows. he is a real gossip, telling you all the gossip and shameful stories about his brothers, pretending to be innocent in front of others.

Hey. I just saw your post of the idea to write about Assassins Creed. It’s lovely to see someone who would write about the Assasins, like Bayek (he doesn’t get enough love). I don’t have anything particular in mind but I’d love to see some/or reactions of some kind of Bayek, Arno and/or any you feel comfortable with. Have a nice day :))
Tumblr media
Being Best Friends With Them: Bayek, Arno & Jacob.
Just to start off with I'm sorry this took so long for me to do but I've got major writers block atm so these might be ass but I tried. Also Arno might be extra ooc cuz I only brought Unity a few days ago when it went on sale and haven't done more than the beginning yet so apologies in advance 😅
================
Bayek
Tumblr media
• The most loyal, lifelong friend you're ever going to get right here.
• Even if you two don't see each other as often anymore after Bayek became a Medjay and started a family.
• Talking about him starting a family, you were one of the first people he told when he found out Aya was expecting.
• Invites you over regularly to eat dinner with him and his family, along with Hepzefa and Rabiah if they are free.
• He loves that his closest people get on so well.
• You accompanying him, Khemu and Chenzira on their hunting trips.
• As much as he wants to confide in you after Khemu's death and Aya's departure, he can't bring himself to. Not only because he doesn't want to speak about it when the wound is so fresh but he doesn't want to burden you with his feelings.
• So he doesn't say much to you before leaving to track down the Heron.
• When he eventually returns, and is in a slightly better headspace than before he left, he was happy to see you, and Hepzefa, waiting for him.
• You two have a lot to catch up on.
Arno
Tumblr media
• Will silently judge every stupid decision you make, his face tells you exactly what he wants to say though to the point it doesn't feel as 'silent' anymore.
• He will help you clean up and or defend you from the consequences of said stupid decision though.
• The type to have clothes made for you, regardless of your social status.
• Depending on your personality, there's going to be a LOT of disagreements between you two due to Arno's stubbornness (and yours, potentially) but he's willing to come to a compromise with you after enough back and forth, he probably won't admit if he was wrong though.
• Arno never truly gets over Élise and has times where his grief rears it's head, sometimes he'll allow you to comfort him even if it's just by sitting in the same room in silence while you both get on with your own things or other times he'll avoid everyone completely and try to keep himself busy with random tasks till he feels ready to see people again.
• Would like to visit the theatre with you occasionally or just relax for once and have a discussion about art or the newest plays.
• Gossip duo 💅🏻
Jacob
Tumblr media
• Sheer pandemonium.
• You two together brings the fear of God into people.
• Spending hours with him in the pub, whether it be indulging in drinking games, playing Whist (don't worry he won't drown you in the river if you beat him) or just chatting with the Rooks, Jacob will make sure you enjoy yourself and hopefully get you to stay just another hour (and buy another round).
• Tells Maxwell about you and eventually invites you to accompany them on one of their random outings.
• We all know how that eventually ends.
• Both of you teasing Evie about Henry. Jacob will definitely turn on you though if he finds out you are courting someone/being courted, it isn't just Evie he's willing to tease.
• He would find out as much as he could about the person that you're interested in, especially if their the one trying to court you. He's been betrayed by people close to him before and doesn't want you to go through the same thing if he can help it.
• He'll make almost everything a (friendly) competition with you; Who can climb this building faster? Who can kill the most Blighters in this random street fight? Who can escape the police quicker?, things like that. Evie will even sometimes join in, which usually ends with the twins bickering after she wins.
• You and Jacob really do share the same braincell at times fr.
==============
I haven't done any hc's in a hot minute and I can see why lol. Maybe I'll rewrite these one day or add to it I dunno.

wait I already asked for sum but I'm asking again — haha sorry
fem werewolf reader x garroth - my street location but after all the chaos so garroth is a werewolf too
nobody knows reader is a wolf as she got bullied for it when she was young, way before high school and she learned how to hide her ears and tail so she always did and eventually it became about of an afterthought at times although it was a topic she hates thinking abt
reader is Katelyn's best friend as they used to play volleyball together in pdh, garroth and everybody else obviously knows her too but Katelyn was closest with her. She always kept her friend group smaller than most and she was knows to be sweet, although she had an attitude and a sarcastic tone at times, which Katelyn loves most about her. tldr garroth and reader become close but he feels detached from everyone, as if he's keeping them at arms length, due to his trauma. Garroth has a breakdown in public when hanging w everyone (for reasons you can think of sorry Juliet 😭) and idk things happen and reader opens up to make him feel better and smooch they're baes
a/n this is such a fun request i LOVE this !! and tysm for requesting <3 i have a few other requests which I'll definitely get to eventually :)
not proof read !!! sorry, wrote this at half 2am and i really didn't wanna read it through😭
also the pic is from Pinterest:

Garroth Ro'meave x fem!Wolf!Reader.
Love.
A social construct made up by lonely people who find sorrow in their isolation. Yet, no matter how much versatility love had in the eyes and, most importantly, hearts of people, the pain and adrenaline and even the dependancy love can cause is seen as a fundamental process of loving and being "normal". Now, I know this sounds pessimistic and something that a typical single, and way too desperate to mingle, person would say, I adore the idea of love and the feeling it gives us. Sometimes, life feels so meaningless and unnecessary, so the feeling of love and even the hurt or happiness it can often bring can make us as people feel so much less alien.
Now, the reason i'm so fixated on the topic of romance is due to the current predicament i find myself in. In high school, my friend Aphmau fell desperately in love with Aaron Lycan, it was cute. What was even cuter was the fact they stuck it out and are even currently engaged! Sure, we lost a figurative single soldier who ended up being taken but that was fine, it was fun fos us to gossip about and hope we could have what they have. Kawaii— no, Nana got into a relationship with Zane which was... unexpected to say the least, but it was nice to know Zane had opened up to someone other than Aphmau and that Nana finally had something she had always wanted. Katelyn broke up with Jeffory in high school too, she went through a tough time but i knew my best friend was going to be okay, and soon enough she was. However, what was NOT okay was that she ended up in a relationship too! I mean, of course she's an adult and i want the best for her and i truly am happy but wow, now i have the least amount of relatability, even to my best friend, all because Travis finally wooed her. I hadn't expected to be the only one on mystreet that was single.
Well, only single female, that is. There was Dante, who still had yet to manage his own love life but he recently went on a journey of self discovery and trying to be happy with who he is and not feel as though he had to change himself in order to be loved romantically. Kim and Lucinda were also single, although they never showed much interest in getting into a relationship, well not Lucinda at least. Kim seemed like she might just be too awkward to even try. But they didn't matter, i wasn't all that close with them, even though Lucinda and Kim felt closer than Dante due to the events of what had happened at the lodge... yeah, those experiences definitely brought us closer.
There was also Garroth...
Garroth Ro'meave, what a character. He's somebody that is incredibly attractive, objectively of course - i personally don't have feelings for him. He has this gorgeous head of sandy blonde hair, long enough to tie up into a tiny ponytail but still short enough to have tendrils of a mellow gold sticking out at the front. His skin was a pretty tan colour, he went outside alot and although he put on sunscreen, he never really bothered to apply more throughout the day so especially after coming back from holiday, his skin was lovely, sunkissed even. And although i could go on and on about his muscles and peculiar yet endearing fashion sense - I've yet to mention his best feature.
His eyes.
They were Sapphires, beautiful gemstones that shone with such luminosity that only the most expensive crystals could achieve. Although, the colour of his eyes moreso resembled Aquamarines, or perhaps even Blue Agates. His eyes were even more radiant when he smiled or laughed, and oh my god was his smile charming to say the least.
Everything about him was just - wow..
But again, don't get an ill idea, I simply see him as a friend. Maybe even a close friend. After the lodge, we had all gotten closer, especially as the feeling of loneliness often felt deadly at times.. Garroth and I had gotten much closer after the lodge, especially at Starlight as many tensions had eased between everyone and people had finally relaxed. Even now, we hang out much more often as we are some of the only single ones out of our close friends so we just gravitate towards eachother.
Unfortunately, I had grown a bit more distant from Katelyn, my ultimate best friend. After coming back from the lodge, we all spoke of course but there was so much.. uncertainty and lack of trust. It was as if we needed to reevaluate our friendships and see if they were genuine and not just Ein somehow hurting us again. We were broken. And of course the others that were not at the lodge didn't understand the change. Katelyn was never truly in touch with her emotions nor how to handle them, let alone other people's emotions. Of course she had realised there was a slight shift in my behaviour, especially as it wasn't just me. Everybody had noticed Aphmau's depression, and Katelyn was growing more confused. She wasn't able to speak to me as seriously as she wanted to or as deeply as she wanted to, so i managed to undermine how i was feeling each time she had asked. But, we both knew that a lack of much needed communication can cause cracks or gaps in friendships. Although it was obvious she felt guilty for not "getting through to me", I knew i was at fault.
Katelyn hasn't tried asking about the lodge or anything else about the time period of which we all came back from there since. She must realise how much of a sensitive topic it is. And, although I sometimes feel lonely knowing she's out having fun not missing me and instead replacing our hangouts with dates with Travis, I'm happy she's happy and I'm happy i have Garroth now too.
Truth be told, Garroth went through unforgettable things, specifically being turned into a werewolf via excruciating pain and suffering. He doesn't like talking about it, and while his ears and tail are always out, he doesn't like people mentioning them or bringing them to everybody's attention. He wasn't ready for the kinds of conversations he knew he was bound to have with everybody if he allowed them to talk about them or even just acknowledge them.
He just wanted to be Garroth, it seemed. And he was never not Garroth to me. I wish he realised that I of all people would understand.
I, too, am a werewolf - well, a wolf at least, but I've always hidden it. Nobody knows, I always intended to tell everybody but i was so so scared.. I was bullied relentlessly in my younger years for being a wolf.
I never had it easy, I was adopted by humans that didn't know i was a pup right away, so when my ears and tails had been shown after they had already signed the adoption papers, they kept me. They didn't know how to raise a pup so they brought me up like they would a human and unfortunately sent me to a human school.
I went to human schools up until high school, so until i was 14. Needless to say, it was the worst. I got beaten physically and verbally, jumped, stolen from and some people even tried to light my fur on fire, so i forever have had a burn scar on my left ear. Although i seemed brave and string after those experiences, i never got over them. Sure, i moved forward, but i dont think i ever truly moved on. Yes, Garroth and I have different experiences but I so desperately sympathise with him as i understand the pain these transitions can cause, and even just what being a wolf can cause. I want him to let me in, but there's no way in hell I'll force him into that. So for now, my friendship with him is enough.
I care for him deeply, and although i said i didn't have any interest in him, it was a pretty obvious lie.. I don't know if i would say i love him yet as its incredibly early to say such rash things but I definitely like him more than anybody should be able to like someone. But after what he's been through, I doubt romance is even on his mind, let alone me.
~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆
I turned on my side, staring aimlessly out of my window that resided next to my bed. The sky was an endless sea of midnight blue which was littered with glimmering stars.
I sighed.
I checked my phone around 10 minutes ago, so it was currently around 04:48 am if i had remembered correctly. It was getting harder and harder to sleep, and it didnt help that i kept thinking of Garroth.
Helping Garroth. Hanging out with Garroth. Liking Garroth. The beauty of Garroth. Just Garroth.
It was like a fever dream, only thinking of one person in millions of separate scenarios, i sound like an obsessed fan. I cringed, knowing i had to get up at about 11am tomorrow at the latest as I had to be at Aphmau's house by 12. She was having a hangout with everybody on mystreet as she felt like everybody had been so tense after recent events, she was always so sweet and looked out for everyone.
Well, I guess I need to at least try to sleep.
~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆
Yawning, my clenched my fists and rubbed my eyes with them, i looked beside me at my bedside table where my digital alarm clock was.
10:13.
I was kinda proud of myself for getting up at a somewhat reasonable time and getting at least 5 hours of sleep. I had some pretty bad eyebags from having sleepless nights often, but i always hid it with makeup.
I got ready within around an hour and a half leaving around 20 minutes to walk to Aphmau and Aaron's place. I was actually really pleased, i felt nice today. I sprayed myself with my favourite perfume and left my place, grabbing my phone and keys before i left. I saw Zane ans Nana holding hands as they walked into Aphmau's house a few houses down, they were super adorable to be honest.
I walked to her house and hugged Aph as she greeted me. I sat down and glanced around the room, immediately realising i had been the last to arrive. I sat down next to Garroth which was one of the only seats not occupied by a couple. Everybody was chatting loudly in a fun light hearted manner, clearly happy to feel free of any tension towards one another. I turned to Garroth, wondering why he had kept so quiet.
Immediately, I had a good idea of why.
His normally honey toned skin looked pastey and blotchy, his eyes were red and tearful and his hair was unkempt. Had nobody else noticed the support he clearly needed??
"Garroth.."
He turned to me and attempted to give me a sweet smile and whilst he looked pretty like usual, it was disingenuine and full of melancholy.
"Yes, Y/N?"
I just looked at him, and my sympathy must have been misunderstood as pity as he suddenly stood up and spoke, "Don't do that."
"Do what?" I got up too, wanting to be on the same level as him.
"Give me that look o-of pity! Don't pity me, Y/N. I'm strong."
"I know that Garroth I just—"
"Just stop!" He exclaimed and although it wasn't loud enough for many other to hear, thank god, it had left me feeling scared for him. I just wanted him to be okay, dammit.
He left Aphmau's house, i quickly ran to the kitchen to say goodbye to Aphmau. I felt no need to expose Garroth to her so i came up with the classic "family emergency" excuse. Somehow, it worked and she allowed me to leave in my hurried state. Assuming Garroth went to his house, I ran over there as quickly as I could, which wasnt too hard considering I was a wolf, and knocked on the door. Unfortunately, it had been left open anyways so I peered in, seeing Garroth curled up on the couch, his ears drooping.
I walked in quietly and closed the door, although his long distance hearning abilities due to his new werewolf attachments heard me.
"Y/N please, i don't want your pity." I sat down on the floor just below him so i could see him face, although his eyes were looking at anything but myself, "Good thing I'm not here to give you pity, then."
His gaze softened and he spoke in a murmer, "Sorry for raising my voice." Tears were threatening to fall down his face, something he unfortunately looked like he was used to. I held his hands in mine, "Don't apologise. You're allowed to be upset, hell it would be abit odd if you weren't. No matter what ears you have, human or otherwise, or if you have a tail or not, you're always going to be my Garroth. This hasn't changed a thing."
His face tensed as tears cascaded down his cheecks, "You're too sweet to me... but no matter what you say, i know you don't understand. Not as well as you think you do. I'm never going to be the same Garroth i was because nobody will see me the same way. But i cannot handle the looks of pity i get..."
I kissed the backs of his hands, rubbing my thumbs soothingly against them, trying to add some sort of comfort that wasn't too invasive or overwhelming. The last thing i wanted was to drive him away. "Garroth, i understand more than you think i do."
He was still refusing to look at me, closing his eyes as he tried to prevent more tears from spilling. I allowed my ears and tail so show, I don't do it often so it felt foreign and hinestly, it was uncomfortable and way too vulnerable for my liking. But i knew it might help Garroth, and i was willing to take the chance.
"Look at me Garroth."
He didn't reply and instead jjst kept his eyes closed, "I said look at me." I tried to command, although it came out quietly and softly as I didn't want to add fuel to Garroth's fire.
He opened his eyes and — "what is this?"
"I.. am a werewolf. Well, a wolf. I was born one."
He was in a state of shock, "I didn't know.." I laughed uncomfortablely, "Yeah.. nobody does. I was ashamed, i got bullied by humans as a kid so much that my fear was domineering and I never really showed them. Having human parents adopt me didn't help either and they didn't understand me."
Garroth looked at me with a look that finally meant he understood, "You understand me because...you went through the lonliness and shame too." I nodded, "Garroth, I care so much about yoy to the point I can't sleep sometimes because of worry or out of happiness knowing I'll see you the next day or even just staying up thinking about how cute your stupid goofy smile is but—"
He gasped and I had thought i said too much and overstepped a boundary, "You think my smile is stupid and goofy?" He inquired dramatically and for the first time in a while, I laughed wholeheartedly, "Shut up, you know thats not what i meant!" "Well thats what you said!"
I smiled at his as our bickering dulled, "But seriously. I like you Garroth, more than a friend should, and you had me worrying so much but in reality, you're always going to be my Garroth to me, ears and a tail aren't gonna change that. Although they are devilishly cute."
He blushed and I removed my hands from his and wiped the tears off of his face. I kissed his cheek as he stuttered in response and merely kissed mine back. We didn't speak after, because words were not needed, the only thing were needed in that moment was eachother.

You told him that you had to be quiet about this. Very, very quiet. You told him all this as you slipped on your shoes and prepared to leave the inn he was currently staying in to be closer to the harbor. You told him all of this before, but now, you were telling him again. That you couldn’t show that the two of you were together. Both as a couple and as individuals, strolling along the same path. You said he couldn’t stand too close. You told him you had to be very quiet when you spoke to him. You told him you had to be strangers, lest someone sees and gossips. For secrets in Liyue are always mere seconds from being stories. And as dense as your father is sometimes, you knew a story such as this one will find its way back to his ears in no time.
You told him all of this before you left the inn and so many times before that as well.
Yet he still grabbed your hand as you both stepped over the threshold and out into the streets of a lantern-lit Liyue, without so much as another look.
And somehow you found that even though you’re being pulled through the streets of your home by a man dressed in clothes from afar with barely a name tied to his body, you realized that stories are just stories. They’re something to be enjoyed. Something to be savored. Something to be written out in careful detail as all the secrets and details unfold before the reader’s eyes. And they’re something to be shared. Later.
Thus, you’ll deal with it later. A story for another day, if you will it to be. And you do. You do will it to be. Because right now…
“Your home is truly beautiful like this.”
You have something else you’d like to focus on.
He murmurs this to you very quietly, yet you were able to hear it so clearly. No sound that the fireworks or the concerts of the people can make will ever keep you from hearing his voice. And even though you were the one who grew up here- traveling these streets and visiting these festivals so much it became a habit- he still was the one to drag you around. To take you to this place. To take you to that one. To explore all the nooks and crannies you know you’ve taken him to before. But to explore it so much more vigor now that the two of you are standing outside underneath a golden night sky with the rest of Liyue fading into the background.
But there’s more than just Liyue fading into the background. At least, for your date, that is.
“I’m glad you think so.” You murmur back, just as quietly. A small, warm smile crosses over your face as your eyes look up to take in his expression. What you come to see is far from a surprise. While the man you know and have grown to love very rarely expresses himself with such vivid displays of emotion, one look at his face is enough to see the sense of awe that has captured him. And the eyes that betray the intensity of this emotion? They’re looking right at the little pieces of the sky you’re holding comfortably in your lap. “Would you like to hold it?”
  The Xiao lantern.
At your question, his eyes flicker up towards yours and away from the lantern. He goes to bite at his lip before the tiniest of unsure frowns take over his expression. He looks conflicted, but you that deep down inside, he wants to. You know he does. You know, you know, you know. You had been watching him eye the lanterns the entire time. When his eyes weren’t on whatever loud noise or moving part that wasn’t screaming for his or any other tourists' attention, his pale purple eyes were always on the sky. Watching the night sky and all its young, golden stars. And watching as more new stars join the existing ones with each passing second.
You’ve never seen him look so peaceful until you’ve witnessed him bathing in the light of the lanterns. Yet you didn’t think he would grow quiet while at the festival. He was so bold when he took your hand and pulled you through the streets, ready to see Liyue in a way he had never seen before. He was so bold when he brushed past the whispers of gossiping old ladies and giggling little kids. People who couldn’t help but wonder about what your father would say if he saw this. People who couldn’t help but wonder what it’s like to be young and in love.
So you thought for sure that he would take you to the first stand he saw selling lanterns and drag you there as well. But he didn’t. Even when his gaze wandered. Even when his hands twitched. He never once reached for the little stars his eyes rarely strayed from. Never once.
So naturally, it was only fair that you’d go ahead and buy one for him.
And now, the two of you are sitting here- your hands reaching out to place the lantern into his lap. And his hands reaching out to accept it gingerly from you- as if it will disappear the second he takes a hold of it. And you have a funny feeling you know why that is. Because even though he’s never told his past or his history. Because even though he’s never told you his story, there have been little bits and pieces that he’s shared along the way. Not with his words. Not with his voice.
“You know if you let the lantern go, and make a wish…it's supposed to come true….”
But with his actions. With his walk. With his eyes. With his hands.
“Would you like to give it a try?”
  With his heart.
It doesn’t take long after that to find another that another golden star is joining the sky. One that burns with the warmth of your hands. One that burns with the warmth of his too. Words don’t pass between the two of you as you watch it follow in the footsteps of the other lanterns. Words don’t pass, and eyes don’t meet. Instead, your hands just join together once more. Fingers thread between fingers. It becomes something more than a touch. Something, so much more.
But that’s a story for another day, wouldn’t you say?
And yet, even as you’re both walking back to his inn to turn in for the night, he doesn’t tell you what he wished for. You’re not sure if he would have told you, even if you asked him. But you know yourself what you wished for. And no, it’s not that all the rumors about you and this mysterious boy would die down immediately. And no, it’s not that this whole outing is kept from your dad either. But it’s that he- it’s that The Wanderer may one day find a place to call home, as you do to Liyue. May one day find the same peace of this night in every single one of his days.
That he finds a way to conclude and to share his story.
On his own terms. In his own way.
  And with his own name.

➳ You're always the one who reminds her how worthy she is, sometimes she lets the words of others get to her (especially when it comes to being Tsahík.)
➳ Her love languages are Acts of Service and Physical Touch.
➳ Etuwa is very protective (to be fair you're the same way.) She's always jumping to your defense, whether it be against other Na'vi or the RDA. You'll never have to worry about anything when she's around.
➳ If you're Sarentu, she does her best to learn more about the history of your people so she can incorporate it into your relationship. Hoping it will make you feel more at home.
➳ Always the first one to congratulate you on successful hunts, she will literally drop everything to be the first to praise your success.
➳ Her first gift to you was a handmade bow. If you're Sarentu, she carved their markings into it. She understands how important history is, and wants you to feel connected to it always.
➳ Whenever you guys are around Hometree, she always is touching you in some way. Usually she'll have her tail wrapped around your leg.
➳ She doesn't care if people see you two being affectionate or not, they already talk about her. What's one more thing to gossip about?
➳ You don't need protection, you've proven that you can handle yourself perfectly fine. But the comfort of knowing Etuwa is willing to jump in front of a gun to protect you, is something that makes you feel special.
➳ She is SO romantic, whenever she's not busy with her Tsahík duties she's planning fun dates for the two of you.
➳ Her favorite spot to bring you is a cove behind a waterfall, it has bioluminescent flowers and is the perfect place for the two of you to get away.
➳ Her Ikran loves you, you're probably the only other person she tolerates. You always have a special treat in your pouch for whenever you visit Etuwa.
➳ Bringing her new feathers for her hair, and installing them yourself.
➳ You're always bringing back trinkets from your explorations or hunts, she cherishes them all!!
➳ When it comes to mating, she's the first to show interest. Always inviting you on her scout patrols, making sure you're well fed, gifting you new gear. It's very obvious when she takes a liking to you.
➳ Her father is resistant at first, mostly because he is afraid that something will happen to his daughter, as it did to his mate.
➳ When he starts coming around, you eventually ask for his blessing to officially begin courting her. Which he gives, on the condition that you never put her life in danger and always protect her.
➳ You guys are truly the cutest couple. It may not be conventional or supported by some in the clan, but Eywa brought you two together for a reason.

Edit: I fucked up and posted this on accident when it wasn't ready yet. So I deleted it and made it a seperate post. Sorry about that OTL
I'll try my best to answer it 🫡 (Disclaimer: the time line here is a bit of a mess. Since Housekeeping AU is pre-canon most of tenth gen would be itty bitty but for the sake of this ask just assume I'm talking about the canon versions)
Dan
Squalo (romantic) Squalo and Dan simply vibe. The Captain and the Chief. Loud and quiet. Co-parenting the assassin nutcases together, complaining about the latest stunt some idiot pulled, despairing over Xanxus throwing stuff habit. They are comrades in suffering, your honour. Their bond is forged with blood (not theirs), ink (from all the paperwork) and alcohol (because they need it), it's unbreakable trust👍(beware the bickering though because there's lots of it when these two get going).
Xanxus (romantic) Now, while Squalo and Dan share similarities, Xanxus and Dan are pure contrast. Xanxus is one of the few people that can really rile Dan up, for some reason he knows how to press all his buttons and regulary breaks Dani-boy out of his shell. Squalo brings calm and rest, while Xanxus brings fire and passion. And lots of swearing.
Lal (platonic) Lal and Dan are a great duo. Both competent, both no-nonsense, both sick of training idtiots and dealing with their bosses. They would get along great, quietly exchanging stories over a glass of wine while their partners off doing stupid shit (which they are steadily ignoring). Their friendship would get so much done, they would terrify anyone into submission with a soul piercing stare, it'd be fun!
Fon (platonic) These two haven't met and I don't know if they ever will but they would chill togehter, drinking tea. Just relaxing. Dan would appreciate Fon's zen and ability to kick ass, because he values competence in all forms.
Tsuna (platonic) Dan truly understands Tsuna's plight. Surrounded by chaos, constantly dragged into nonsense... When you just want some godforsaken peace and quiet. They would bond over the craziness that is their life and Dan would teach alll the ways to cope with the chaos (there may be alcohol involved).
Dave (all platonic cause Dave is on the aro spectrum)
Lussuria Sharing a passion with fashion and gossip, Dave and Luss get on like a house on fire. They regualary meet up for spa sessions where they exchange the hottest tea and bitch about Chief not taking care of himself. Sometimes they fuck, sometimes they just giggle and paint each others nails, it very much depends on the mood.
Reborn Chaos gremlins stand united! Dave and Reborn are two peas in a pod, living for the trolling, making everyone's life hell just for the lols. Chief's chaos sense will go haywire should they ever meet and he will instantly cash in all his vacation days at once, cause he ain't dealing with the clean up no sireee~
Bel Another litlle shit going on the list. Dave and Bel are competing over the top spot of: driving Chief to homicide and let me tell you it's a close race. Davey-boy and Baby-Bel love getting up to mischief together, with Dave trying to hold back some of Bel's murderous tendencies. (Dave prefers pschological torment and he's not really that much of a fan of corpse clean up). You could see their relationship as brotherly but if you mention it to either of them they will probably hiss and bite/stab you.
Haru Dave would find Haru adorable! Look at her! Designing funky custumes, eating all the cake and chasing after love. How cute! Dave approves! They would bake cake together, talking about boys (while Dave gives all the wrong advice because he doesn't know shit about romance actually).
Chrome Dave takes on look at Chrome and instantly takes her under his wing. He'd see the look in her eyes, her shy demeanour and thin figure and feel like he's staring into one of these fun house mirrors. Like recognises like. He'd try his best not to spook her, soften his edges a bit and then get some food in her. They'd cook together with Dave showing her the ropes, telling her funny stories all the while, trying to make Chrome laugh. Their relationship would have a bittersweet taste but with a satisfying finish at the end.

I See What You See (Shoko Ieiri x reader)
Tumblr media
You’re a conspiracy theorist geek who believes in aliens. Your quiet friend-of-a-friend, Shoko Ieiri, doesn’t understand your obsession and almost seems to make fun of you for it. Next thing you know, the two of you gape at each other at an anticipated alien sighting event.
˖⁺‧₊˚ ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚ ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚ ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚ ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚ ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚ ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖˖⁺‧₊˚ ♡ ˚₊‧⁺˖
Studying at a local college, you’ve recently been adopted by the ever-animated Satoru Gojo into his own friend group. That being said, you’re only closest to Satoru, and only starting to get to know his other friend, Suguru Geto. The last member, on the other hand, was still a total stranger to you - Ieiri Shoko.
She’s mostly kept to herself. You find the short-haired brunette either reading a book, texting on her phone, or smoking a cigarette out on the school grounds -  sometimes all of the above at the same time. She’d join the group’s conversation here and there, and most of the time she’d scold the two boys whenever they got too noisy over their usual banter or when they were bickering over something stupid.
Ieiri would only spare a glance at you to somewhat acknowledge your presence. It felt like she was actively ignoring you and didn’t approve of your new membership into their small circle of friends. One time, you did try to subtly leave and distance yourself, feeling unwanted, but Satoru would only rope you back in. And when you tried to befriend the quiet girl, she would only peek at you over her book or over her phone before tensing up her shoulders, offering quiet and abrupt answers to any of your questions for the sake of conversations.
You feel a little hopeless.
While this was your situation with your in-real-life friends, the place where you truly feel like you belong to a community is on your online forums for conspiracy junkies. Yes, that’s you. You’d let your eyes burn in radiation as you read through articles and articles of conspiracy theories, alien sightings, documentaries, backrooms, icebergs, etc.! The tapping of fingers against keyboard keys can be heard until the wee hours of the morning as you share your opinions with other members of the forum. You’d only bring up this obsession of yours once in a blue moon with your group of friends because you’re still unsure if they’d find you weird for this, your mission to befriend Ieiri was already on thin ice.
“Hey, I’m talking here y/n. Are you even listening? This is some important hot pipping tea I’m spilling.”
The white-haired boy snaps his fingers in front of your face as you’re seated on his right in the school cafeteria. You finally look up from your phone and see that Suguru is nibbling on his sandwich with a miserable look on his face, while Ieiri is drinking her juice box, looking bored as ever.
“I don’t think you blabbering about how Miss Mei Mei and Principal Yaga would look good together is important.” You finally say after observing the scene before you.
His eyebrows shot up over his round sunglasses, “You kidding? Everyone’s been talking about it! Why aren’t you guys into school gossip? It can be so boring sometimes with the three of you.”
“Satoru,” Suguru says once his mouth isn’t full. “It’s not nice to spread rumors, especially about our school heads.”
“It’s not really that entertaining,” Ieiri adds, talking around the straw in her mouth. “It’s just a bunch of old people not having any action cause they’re too busy with their work. How mundane.”
“See, for once though I didn’t make up the rumors this time. I got it through word of mouth. That counts for something right? Y/n, back me up?” When he notices you using your phone again, he snaps his fingers at you one more time. “Seriously, I’m getting hurt. Are you texting with someone?”
“Hmm? Sorry, Satoru. I’m just engulfed in this article.” You say without taking your eyes off the phone, making Satoru lean closer to you to check out what you’re reading.
He starts to read aloud, “ ‘This Friday, a predicted sighting of an alien time-traveling portal will appear in this address’ -” The tall man leans back to give you an incredulous look. “There you are again. Are you actually planning to go to this event?”
As the subject of your obsession is brought up on the table, your eyes sweep across the group to assess their reaction. Suguru only raises an eyebrow inquisitively, and when your pupils land on Ieiri, you feel your heart drop to your stomach.
She was pulling a face, as if she was weirded out by you.
You felt like a creep under her gaze.
“W-well, I don’t know really know, hahaha…”You start to say, pocketing your phone absent-mindedly now that all of the attention is on you. “I mean, I read stuff like that but, I’m not that into it, you know? It’s just for shits and giggles. To kill time.”
Satoru scoffs at you, “Yeah right. It’s basically your whole being. You probably eat the moon landing farce articles for breakfast.”
You glare at him, internally cursing at him for exposing you even more and making you feel ten times embarrassed. He only shrugs at your hostile look.
Suguru closes his lunch box as he finishes his snack. “If you’re thinking of going, you should make sure it’s safe. Do you want us to come with you?”
Before you can say anything, you’re surprised to hear a third voice.
“On a Friday night with other geeks? I’d rather get wasted.” Ieiri says, staring directly at you. Suguru chuckles at this, making you sink further into your seat.
“Ah, if you’re going to the bar, at least have Ioiri go with you.” The raven-haired man says, and you think to yourself that he’s the mother of the group with how much he looks out for everyone. “Or maybe they allow drinks at y/n’s event. Do they?”
With the spotlight back on you, your shoulders reach up to your ears in your humiliation as you start to lie, “Don’t worry about it! I’m not going so you guys can go to the bar. I have a paper due next week and I’ll focus on that so, hahaha…”
Satoru throws his head back in boredom, “Borrringggg. I’m not in the mood to do either of those. Suguru, want to play Animal Crossing instead?”
It was Suguru’s turn to be embarrassed, “Who says I play that? Shut up Satoru.”
As your white-haired friend pouts at Suguru, you try to not meet the only pair of eyes left on you, aware of their curious gaze making your face burn.
The weekend rolls in and you find yourself standing in the middle of an abandoned parking lot just on the outskirts of your small town. It was already night time and the stars glittered up above you as if they were dancing at the crowd of the conspiracy theories enthusiasts growing gradually below them. You can see how some of them dressed up for the occasion, with some going for the galactic theme. In comparison to you with your black shirt with a print of some type of Monopoly Mandela Effect, a short purple-checkered skirt with some low boots on. This simple outfit earned you a couple of compliments here and there.
You purposely arrived an hour early before the predicted sighting of the portal to meet up with the forum members whom you’d constantly chat with. You stare at the screen if any of them have arrived yet.
[You]: anyone here yet?
[You]: sent a photo.
[You]: its early but a lot of peeps already here.
[aLiEnSaREreA]: stuck in traffic :((
[FeelinCuteMightTripToTheBackrooms]: waitin for this guy @aliensarereals
[FeelinCuteMightTripToTheBackrooms]: then otw
[IeireadyOrNot]:@you im here. come to the back.
[IeireadyOrNot]: sitting by the wrecked cars.
[You]:@IeireadyOrNot aight.
Trudging through the tall grass and through the sea of your fellow geeks, you make your way to the darkest part of the venue, spotting a silhouette of a small person who seems to be smoking a cigarette while leaning against a run-down car. You bring out your phone again to use the flashlight to guide your path. No one else seems to be at that part of the parking lot so you assume that they’re the person you just chatted with. As soon as you’re within earshot, you lift your phone up to light your internet friend and greet them, but you stop in your tracks with your mouth agape.
Your supposed internet friend was wearing the same look you probably have right now, except they have a lit cigarette in between their lips.
And except it was Ieiri.
With green alien ears for a headband.
You almost drop your phone as your eyes widen at the short brunette. You watch as a read streak across her face immediately forms in her realization and you can’t help but bend at your stomach and start laughing.
Ieiri lets out an exasperated huff, clouds of smoke coming out through her lips along with it. “What’s so funny?!” Feeling self-conscious, she can’t help but remove the headband from on top of her head, which made your laughter die down a bit.
“No - don’t take it off! Y-you look too cute with it.” Your cheeks are starting to hurt from smiling and laughing too hard. Your hands fly up to place her headband back in its rightful place.
She almost wacks your hands away, “Then what the fuck are you laughing about?”
Her crudeness caught you a bit off guard but you brushed it off. How can you bother yourself being hurt or scared of your shorter acquaintance when she’s got those cute little alien ears on? Or at this point, she might as well be your bestie with how long the two of you chat through the online forums you’re always on.
How ironic.
“Nothing, it’s just…It’s funny seeing you here, considering how you just made fun of me a few days ago.” You say as you hoist yourself up on the car, sitting on the hood while Ieiri remains standing, leaning her backside against the front of the sorry excuse of a vehicle.
“I wasn’t making fun of you.” She replies whilst she puts out her cigarette under her shoe.
“Then what was with the face?”
“Face?” Ieiri pauses, humming in thought. “I was just…shy I guess.”
“Shy? Right.” You chuckle, obviously not believing her. You think that she’s a quiet person but not because she’s shy. It’s probably because she has so little patience to deal with anything she thinks isn’t important.
The brunette throws a glare over her shoulder at the sarcastic tone of your voice. “I was! I don’t really talk about this stuff because…it’s…weird.”
“It’s not - “
“Plus, those two idiots will never let me hear the end of it. They’ll just tease me ‘till my ears bleed off.”
“But they were kinda nice about it with me though? Suguru even - “
“They were just being nice, y/n.” She deadpans. “You’re new to the group so they’re still testing the waters with how you respond to their, how should I put this, harassment?”
“Why? Did they say something…er, about me?” There’s a small uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach to think that your friends would make fun of you behind your back.
She catches your nervousness and shakes her head, “Satoru just likes to annoy people. Suguru’s no help either.”
You sigh in relief. When her reply was met with silence, she looked at you over her shoulder and saw you smiling at her.
“Sorry, it’s just that this is the longest conversation we’ve ever had.”
The red streak on her cheeks doesn’t go unnoticed and you can’t help but chuckle at how you can still see it even though it was dark.
“We chat almost every day so I don’t think the statement is true.”
“No, I mean, in real life. You’re always so quiet like you’re purposely doing it because you probably don’t like me.”
She whips her head back at you with a startled look. “That’s not true! I do like you!”
It was your turn to blush. Ieiri realizes the weight of her words and buries her face into her hands. “It’s - It’s - “
“Um, hahaha…It sure doesn’t feel like it.”
“Like I said, I’m too shy.” She says with her voice muffled by her hand covering her face. “Or I just kinda like you too much.”
“Like with me being a friend right? You probably had a feeling I was the one chatting with you. Then why are you so cold to me in real life?”
Ieiri looks back at you one more time, her lips in a tight line, the blush on her cheeks still evident.
And you think you understood what she meant - what she meant when she said she liked you.
You can’t help but be the first one to break eye contact and move your gaze over to the now full venue. The brunette beauty flits her own eyes to the crowd.
Not knowing what to say, you try to buy time by pretending to check on your GC’s updates:
[aLiEnSaREreA]: car broke down!!
[aLiEnSaREreA]: adjfhdjf hajdhfan vjkg!!
- aLiEnSaREreA is offline -
[FeelinCuteMightTripToTheBackrooms]: idk if we gonna make it :((
[FeelinCuteMightTripToTheBackrooms]: if u go through the portal
[FeelinCuteMightTripToTheBackrooms]: tell them i said hi
-FeelinCuteMightTripToTheBackrooms is offline -
[IeireadyOrNot]: this may be like once in a lifetime event
[IeireadyOrNot]: you guys suck
- IeireadyOrNot is offline -
[You]: :((
“Nice screen name by the way. I don’t know why I didn’t think it was you.” You say as you lift your head up from staring at your phone. The short girl stays quiet.
“Ieiri? I- “
“Shh! It’s almost starting.” She says softly without looking at you.
Your heart pounds in anticipation as you remember what you were here in this ugly parking lot for. The crowd cheers and starts a countdown. You join in at number 4.
3…
2…
1…
It all went quiet.
No one moves for a couple of minutes before some start to swivel their heads around, checking for any anomaly nearby.
Nothing.
Ieiri lights a cigarette.
You bring your knees up to your chest wrapping your arms around your legs in your disappointment. Your friend eventually sits up on the hood of the car with you and wordlessly offers the lit cancer stick to you. You accept.
After you take a drag, you pass it to her. “Ieiri?”
“Hmm?”
“I think…I think I like you too.”
You hear her hold her breath before her face breaks into a small smile at you with a shaky giggle.
“You like me, or do you like ‘Ieireadyornot’?”
“Aren’t they the same person?”
She hums, looking at you with soft eyes as content washes over her expression. Suddenly, both of you freeze in your spots once a commotion in the crowd begins.
The both of you spot Suguru and Satoru amongst the crowd, sporting their matching green alien fur coats. The two of you girls look at each other before laughing, clearly seeing that Satoru is upset about the event being a hoax, and with Suguru only looking at him with his own dissatisfaction.
“I guess you don’t have to worry about their teasing then!” You tell her, finally settling down from laughing, then intertwining your fingers through hers. “Guess we’re all geeks.”
She squeezes her hand in yours.
“You think they’re the other two people in our GC?” Ieiri puffs out.
You can’t help but laugh again at all the coincidences.
Your internet friends are just the same as your in-real-life-friends.
And your internet crush is also your in-real-life crush.
Maybe you were the alien. Maybe you were the one who had a secret time-traveling portal because right now, everything feels like you’re in another dimension, one that you can only dream of.
With Ieiri staring softly at you, her eyes holding galaxies.

Lorth Needa Headcanons
So, I had some people ask about Captain Needa headcanons online so I decided to make a post. I have different headcanons for crack vs. serious verses, so I've divided them up here.
Tumblr media
General Headcanons:
Given that he joined the navy under the Galactic Republic and served as a lieutenant in the Clone Wars, he's several years older than Piett. Nonetheless, the two are very close. Most of the time they don't notice the age difference but Piett will joke about Needa being old sometimes.
He was born and raised in Coruscant but likes to travel. He's not prejudiced but there's still a lot he doesn't know about the Outer Rim.
He is bisexual and dated both men and women prior to meeting his wife during the Galactic Republic era.
His wife is a biologist who continued her work into the Imperial era. Her research is highly classified and Lorth knows next to nothing about it.
He has three kids by the time of the original trilogy, two daughters and a son. His eldest daughter was born shortly before the start of the Clone Wars, resulting in Needa missing a large chunk of her early childhood. This is part of why he arranged to have his family live "on base" in one of the Star Destroyers after the Empire was formed. His younger daughter and son were born in the early years of the Empire. He's a good father to all of them but closest to the second daughter.
Very loyal to the Galactic Republic and then to the Galactic Empire. Needa views the Empire as a continuation of the Republic with some much-needed improvements. He's a nice guy, but definitely not about to defect to the Rebellion anytime soon. Similarly to Piett, he groups the Rebellion together with Separatists and criminal gangs and truly believes that the Empire is a peacekeeping organization.
Mild-mannered guy but loves thrill rides and high-intensity sports in his free time. This is shocking to all his fellow Imperials.
Crack-Verse Headcanons:
Needa founded the Imperial Adopt a Tauntaun Refuge Fund with the Emperor's blessing because tauntauns are Emperor Palpatine's favorite animal. Since its foundation, the charity has rescued thousands of tauntauns from unethical Rebel handlers. Needa has fostered many orphan taunlets whom he treats like his children. They have all imprinted on him Jurassic World-style and will flock to him if he visits the refuge.
He finds baking therapeutic and due to the large amount of stress he has to put up with, he's gotten very good at it.
He brings food to a lot of the meetings but doesn't take credit for it. So, everyone just assumed the food was catered by whatever COMPNOR initiative organized the meeting. After Needa's death, the food stops and everyone's grumpy about it.
He invites Jerjerrod and Piett over frequently for brunch/gossip, emphasis on the gossip.
Needa realized Piett was attracted to Veers very early on and has been shipping them for years. He's also been there for a lot of Piett's "he could never love me" episodes. He's given emotional support for his kids through their teens but this is far worse.
Mediocre with a blaster but extremely good at laser tag.
Needa keeps acting as the third wheel for couples but doesn't realize it. Veers and Piett are too nice to say anything and the hints keep going over Needa's head.
At one point, Needa was stuck in an elevator with Motti and Jerjerrod. He was deeply upset by the amount of PDA that happened in those five minutes and ranted to Piett about it afterwards. ("How could they let my taunlet see such things?!")
Has legitimately tried to befriend Lord Vader to no avail.
In an Empire Wins crackverse that I have, Needa finds the falcon after running an update to essentially get a better rearview camera on the ISD Avenger. He is subsequently promoted to Grand Admiral and forever alters galactic history. He is subsequently Piett's Best Man for Piett and Veers's wedding.
Needa can dance. Very well. Too well. This is very disturbing for Piett.
Needa is the long-suffering mom friend of the imp crew. One day, he is going to snap.
Serious Verse Headcanons:
His first daughter went into scientific research. The second has only ever wanted to join the navy like her dad. It's cute early on when she's going around on Empire Day wearing his old officer's cap, but as she gets older, Lorth doesn't know how to break it to her that the Imperial Navy is accepting fewer and fewer women with each cycle. Lorth isn't sexist himself, but he's realistic and doesn't really see the world changing for the better by the time his daughter comes of age. He's also worried about the rate of assault in coed ISDs.
Needa has been close friends with Piett since the first year of the Empire. He got to know Piett through the latter's husband and attended their wedding. This makes Needa's death especially difficult for Piett in ESB. Piett suspects that Vader was aware of this fact and purposely killed Needa in front of him, knowing it would be an especially potent warning to Piett.
Needa spoke briefly with Piett minutes before his death, during which Piett attempted to dissuade him from confronting Vader. Needa argued that if he did not report to Vader himself, the Sith Lord would seek to punish the entire crew of the ISD Avenger. Consequently, it was better to sacrifice one man. He asks Piett to watch out for his family after his death. Had he known that Vader would execute not only him but his family soon afterwards, Needa likely would have acted differently.
The only members of Needa's family who escape Vader's wrath are his cousin, Virar, and his second daughter, who was away at the academy at the time of her father's death. Lorth's wife, eldest daughter and son were on board the ISD Avenger during the pursuit of the Millennium Falcon and were all executed soon after Lorth's death.

Why is it crucial for us to speak out against injustice (zulm)? Why shouldn't we stay quiet? What happens if we stay silent when we see someone being treated unfairly? I really want to discuss this, so let's explore these questions together today.
Whoever among you sees an evil action, then let him change it with his hand [by taking action]; if he cannot, then with his tongue [by speaking out]; and if he cannot, then with his heart – and that is the weakest of faith. Sahih Bukhari
Abu Bakr RA said: I have heard Messenger of Allah SAW say: 'When people see an oppressor but do not prevent him committing sin, it is likely that Allah will punish them all. - [Ibn Maajah]
This means that if people witness someone doing wrong but don't stop them, it's possible that Allah will punish everyone. This means that not taking action against wrongdoing might lead to consequences for everyone.
A group of companions went to Abyssinia during the migration, and the Prophet SAW said, tell me the strangest thing you saw in Abyssinia. So a group of them said, Ya Rasulullah, one day we were sitting, and one of the nuns, or one of the elderly nuns, was walking by, and she had a jug of water on her head. A young man walked up to her, put his hand right on her chest, and shoved her. And so she fell to her knees, and the water jug broke. And the man laughed at her, and no one did anything about it. So they let this young man bully this elderly woman, and no one did anything about it. And the sahaba said that the woman said to him, “How will it be, O foolish young man, on the day of judgment, when Allah brings the first and the last of His creation, and Allah judges between us, you will then know of your situation and my situation. How will it be?”
So the Prophet SAW said, sadaqat, sadaqat, sadaqat, she told the truth, she told the truth, she told the truth. How can Allah honor an ummah that does not protect its vulnerable from its strong ones, from its powerful ones, that does not protect the weak from being exploited by the powerful of that society? The Prophet SAW didn't blame the young man alone. Who did he blame? The society. He blamed the society that normalized that type of behavior, which made it okay for that young man to feel like he could go up to that old woman and push her and not be held accountable. It's society's fault that allows that. It's not just the young man's fault. The young man is the product of a facilitating institution.
Aisha RA says that I asked the Prophet SAW, “Will we be destroyed and we have righteous people amongst us?” He said, Yes if filth is made rampant. Ibn Hajar says Filth is al maasi, filth refers to sins as a whole. The ones that are ugliest, the nastiest, the ones that are most base, and the ones that represent the worst of immorality. So the Prophet SAW said, “Even if you have righteous people amongst you, if those things are allowed to thrive without anyone saying anything about them, then everyone suffers as a result of them.”
Silence is considered wrong, or haram, under three specific conditions. Firstly, when you are absolutely certain that something is evil, this means having no doubt about the wrongdoing you wish to address or correct. Sometimes, you might not fully understand the situation, or you might not be in a position to know all the facts. Reflect on the example of Musa (AS), who assumed something without having all the information. So, the first condition for silence being haram is when you are certain about the facts of something.
Secondly, silence becomes haram when you are sure that the wrongdoing has occurred. In the Quran, it advises believers to verify information when a wicked person brings news to them. This means it's not about rumors, gossip, or hearsay, but about having first-hand testimony or strong evidence that the act has truly taken place.
The third condition is that there is a greater likelihood that speaking up will help eliminate or reduce the wrongdoing. If there's a good chance that your words can make a positive impact in removing or lessening the evil, then keeping silent becomes inappropriate.
So, speak the truth! Do not remain silent. In whatever capacity you can, but speak.

It's Just So Good, Ya'know?
In spite of being a Xiao Zhan fan, I don't love a lot of his dramas. Douluo Continent though, that is one of the few I truly enjoy. This is a rewatch and the parts that irritated me, I still don't like but the parts that I like, I still enjoy.
The biggest problem with this drama is the pacing. This is me being nice but oh boy, the pacing is all over the place with Douluo Continent. Also, I am just not a big fan of the romance in this show. Don't get me wrong, I love Zhu Zhu Qing and Dai Mu Bai's relationship, I had hoped to get more from them. The other two couples among the Seven Devils are quite cute but sometimes really redundant. Especially the many scenes of Xiao Wu and Tang San. I get it, but I did not watch this show for their romance, it's average at best.
That being said, lets talk about the show itself. Fantastical wuxia dramas without long melodramatic or constant betrayal scenes are my favourite. The storyline, the world, the characters, the action, Douluo Continent really is entertaining to watch. A downside? For a show focusing on people's powers and abilities to fight, there is a severe lack of action scenes. Sometimes, I just want the fight scene to drag on or show me more action rather than slow motion scenes of anyone being attacked and falling backwards.
Every time I watch Douluo Continent, I get the urge to watch the animation as well. Unfortunately, the animation is not it for me. So until the second instalment comes out, I really don't think I will consume any content of Douluo Continent except for this drama. A pity, really.

Hello!! I just took your milgram friendship uquiz and it was So Sweet 🥺 Maybe it's silly to ask, but have you/could you post all the results? I got Mikoto and the description was really nice -- it suited him so well, I'd love to hear the others :') Either way, thank you for such a cute quiz!!!
aaaa thank you sm!!! that makes me really happy to hear, youre so sweet :’3 not a silly question at all, dw! i put all the different results under the cut, i hope they dont disappoint!!
haruka:
your best friend is haruka sakurai! haruka is an anxious, awkward, and skittish, but ultimately kind guy. he has trouble socializing and getting to know people, so it’s very likely that you’re the only close friend he has, and he’s very grateful for that. you don’t laugh at him, or scoff at him, or see him as abnormal – you accept him as he is, and give him the attention he’s craved all his life. knowing you’re there, and that you have his back, means the world to him. he knows he’ll never be able to express his gratitude properly, but he tries to! he tries to be attentive, always ready to hear you out, and spend time with you. he gives you gifts, often small things, like cool rocks or flowers he found, or a colorful drawing he made – as often as he can, hoping they’ll convey even a sliver of the admiration he has for you. you’re just so incredible? he can’t believe you’re real at times. he can’t believe someone so kind, smart, talented and funny is his best friend. haruka is truly your biggest hype man – no matter what you’re doing he’s there, supporting you, eyes sparkling. he gets giddy talking about you to other people, because he’s just so incredibly thankful to have someone so comforting and unchanging in his life. he hopes you’ll never leave. he can’t be the best friend you deserve, but he can at least do his best to be decent, so you won’t leave him behind. he’ll probably need a lot of reassurance before he can start to accept that he’s your best friend, just as much as you’re his. haruka often wishes he could go back to the past, but having you by his side makes him think that he doesn’t need to, after all. maybe even someone like him is allowed to have hope for the future.
muu:
your best friend is muu kusunoki! muu is shy, affectionate, and a bit spoiled. she can be demanding and even a bit cruel, at times, but never to you. to muu, you are the one safe corner in her world, one of the few people in her life who haven’t hurt her yet. she’s very scared that you’ll slip away from her, like sand between her fingers, if she isn’t careful – so she can be a bit clingy. that being said, she won’t hesitate to be a little snarky and blunt, even to you; that’s just the way muu is. if she ever seriously hurt your feelings, though, she’d feel terrible. all muu wants is one good friend – someone who listens to her, and supports her. someone she can laugh with and paint her nails with and enjoy a normal friendship with, without gossip or pain or jealousy. she wants to make lots of good memories with you, and will probably try to bring you along on every expensive family trip or outing. she’s skittish, at times, and very much anxious and closed-off after the bullying she faced – but she’s getting better, slowly but surely. she knows you won’t hurt her, and would never hurt you, either. again – muu isn’t perfect. she’s very much spoiled, very much arrogant, and sometimes even cruel; but with your guidance, your normal, lighthearted presence in her life, even that can change. you’re her very best friend, in the whole wide world, and she truly loves you. she hopes you can stay the way you are now, together forever, for all her life.
yuno:
your best friend is yuno kashiki! yuno is a cheerful, bubbly, kind girl – at least, that’s what she wants you to think. yuno’s smile is usually plastered on, as a means to reach an end, as a way to get others to dote on her. in actuality, she’s cold, calculating, and blunt, never letting anyone close enough to see her true self – well, except you. in some way or another, you have managed to see through the facade, and reach out towards the true yuno – who isn’t the same as the bubbly and cheerful yuno, but far from evil or cruel. the real yuno struggles with apathy and a feeling of emptiness, that she’s desperately trying to fill. the real yuno doesn’t need people to understand her, but deep down she’d probably like them to. the real yuno can be blunt and cold, but also kind, and she cares deeply for her loved ones. you’ve seen the real yuno; she’s your best friend, not all the other yunos she takes the role of when the situation calls for it. and she’s grateful for that. you’re one of the few people she can be transparent with – she likes to hang out with and have fun with you, but doesn’t feel like she constantly has to be smiling when she does. she doesn’t feel like an actress when she’s around you, and at the end of the day, maybe that’s all there is to it. maybe that matters more than anything. having even a single person who understands you like that is a privilege, and yuno doesn’t let important things out of her grasp. she’s not always entirely earnest and genuine – that’s something she also struggles with – but she does occasionally let you know that she appreciates you. you’re one of the few people in her life that makes her feel warm, and you don’t demand anything in return. the word “friend” doesn’t sound fake when she says it, not when it’s referring to you.
kazui:
your best friend is kazui mukuhara! kazui is relaxed, easygoing, and generally easy to get along with. he’s also very good at lying. or, rather, acting – he’s good at pretending nothing’s wrong, and good at acting like someone he’s not. at the end of the day, though, he has a kind heart, and values friendship. kazui doesn’t care for the things that are dubbed as most “important” in society – getting a job, finding a wife, having kids… what kazui values are the small moments, and the fleeting, lighthearted connections you make along the way. he doesn’t need a lot of friends, just a couple good ones, and having you around is more than enough. kazui isn’t someone who’s good at expressing his love for another person, not in a way that properly conveys his feelings, but he is good at showing it. it’s in every lighthearted jab, sarcastic quip, ruffle of your hair – he does love you, his best friend, but he doesn’t really feel the need to say it. he simply enjoys your company. if he could choose one thing to keep all his life, one thing guaranteed not to change, he’d probably pick you. having someone around who understands you, and who enjoys your company as much as you enjoy theirs, is a very important thing. the most important, maybe, he muses. kazui is also a dad friend, even though he’ll jokingly punch you on the head if you say it to him – he can’t help but be worried about the people he values, and although he denies it, he enjoys being depended on. kazui is a good liar, at the end of the day, and there are times where not even you will be able to completely see through him, and know what he’s thinking – but one thing you can always be sure of is that he values your friendship more than anything. he hopes you’ll stay in his life for a long time to come.
shidou:
your best friend is shidou kirisaki! shidou is calm, observant, and very, very kind. he’s caring by nature, always doting on someone without realizing it, like a worried mom – especially to you. there are things shidou doesn’t talk about, some things buried deep within his heart, a kind of guilt that can’t be shaken off, no matter how much time passes. he doesn’t speak about it, but it’s there, and if you’re close to him, you’ll see it. he doesn’t speak about these things, but he does trust you. you are a constant comfort in his life, bringing some color into his monotone world. shidou doesn’t feel like he deserves such an untainted friendship, doesn’t think he deserves someone who’ll stay with him even after all that he’s done, yet there you are. and he can’t bring himself to push you away. selfishly, he wants to be happy, even after everything. he wants to have a good friend to talk with, who knows him, who will judge him properly and still stick around. shidou is, again, very doting without realizing it. you’re sad? he’s by your side to hear you out. you’ve had an argument? he apologizes almost immediately, or at the very least communicates to reach an understanding. you’re sick? he goes full mother hen/doctor mode, tending to you like you’re dying (it’s just a cold, shidou). shidou is kind, and he’s very happy to have you in his life. just this one good thing is enough, he thinks, just this one good thing is enough for me. if something happened to you, he doesn’t know what he’d do. probably break, or repeat the same sins he already has, over and over again. so, please – take care of yourself, won’t you?
fuuta:
your best friend is fuuta kajiyama! fuuta is snarky, irritable, and very determined. he wants you to think he’s cool, strong, and edgy, but he’s actually more like a very angry chihuahua. more than anything, though, fuuta is kind. he just doesn’t want to show it. you’re fuuta’s best friend, his ride or die, the person he feels closest to in the world – which is why it’s absolutely vital that he bully you and bicker with you as much as humanly possible, to cover up all those gross, tender emotions. he never takes it too far (or, well, he tries to), but there’s nothing he loves more than starting stupid fights about stupid stuff, and making fun of you. he likes competing with you, and will literally never shut the fuck up if he wins whatever dumbass competition he started. on the other hand, if you win and start gloating, he’ll call you immature. the right way to handle having this loser as a best friend is simply to bully him back – and he expects you to! if you don’t, he’ll probably feel bad and distance himself. he wants to be able to bicker with you, and watch dumb movies, and kick your ass in mario kart. but deep down, he truly, truly cares for you. definitely more protective than he lets on, too. if someone else were to bully you, he’d get defensive and annoyed – god forbid, if someone made you genuinely sad? his lil 165 cm ass is FUMING. all in all, fuuta isn’t good at showing his appreciation for you, but he hopes you know it’s there. he really, really hopes you know, because if you don’t he’ll have to say it, and that’ll end with him red in the face, hands sweaty, stammering out a timid “you’re my best friend” like he’s proposing. fuuta is kind, too kind for his own good, but he’s so afraid of being seen as a coward that he’s closed himself off, in an attempt to make himself look tougher. if he ever shows his more vulnerable side to you, don’t make fun of him, for once – you’re the only one in the world he trusts enough to show it to. fuuta is kind, and pathetic, and deeply respects and cares for his best friend – and he’ll deny it til his dying breath.
mahiru:
your best friend is mahiru shiina! mahiru is affectionate, bubbly, and loving, almost overwhelmingly so. it’s impossible to be in any kind of relationship with mahiru, platonic or romantic, without knowing that you’re loved. she’s very vocal about it. mahiru loves to love – that’s the very core of her identity. she wants to experience fun things, things that make her heart race, sad things, emotions too heavy for a name. more importantly, she wants someone to experience these things with her. that’s why she feels so giddy to have you, her best friend, someone who doesn’t get weirded out by her, and doesn’t try to push her away. she wants to do everything with you, wants to be the best friend she can be, so she gives and gives and gives until she has nothing left, and then she just kinda.. retreats into herself. mahiru wants to be loved, but she doesn’t really know how to be loved – or love, for that matter! the last time she loved someone this strongly, they died. if the same thing were to happen to you, she’d… well. best not to think about it too much. what mahiru needs isn’t someone who will reject her, or tell her that she’s wrong, but someone that can show her how light love can be. how light love should be. mahiru’s perception of love isn’t wrong, exactly, but it is skewed, and she needs someone who can show her a different kind of love. the love you feel when your best friend laughs until their stomach hurts, the love you feel when your best friend shows up at your doorstep with your favorite snacks in hand, the love that surrounds you when you’re with people who accept you. mahiru wants to be the best friend she can be, and in her own way, she is. she’ll never leave you, will always be there to comfort you, and will support you no matter what. she’ll laugh with you over bad jokes, cry her eyes out at the sappy romance movies you watch, and tease you if you ever get a crush on someone – all around, mahiru’s love, when you strip away the flames and ashes, is very light.
kotoko:
your best friend is kotoko yuzuriha! kotoko is a cool, confident, determined girl, who won’t hesitate to take what she wants when the right moment strikes. she’s not as scary as she seems (although still very intimidating), and with people close to her, she allows herself to relax a little more. her smile is softer, somehow, and her shoulders aren’t as tense, and her eyes look almost tired. this side of her is something even her best friend will rarely see, though – kotoko prefers to be scary and guarded, ready for an attack at any moment. she has a strong, good heart, with good intentions, but she is a bit… misguided, in some ways. kotoko loves violence, especially when she can justify it, and there are times when her eyes don’t look sharp or tired, but scary, in an animalistic way you’re afraid to identify. still, she has a soft spot for you, and will be more open with you than most others. with you, she has no problem discussing her ideals, and her views, and her deepest desires. if she’s allowed you to come that close, you probably agree with her in some way, anyway. kotoko can be snarky, sarcastic, and scary, but she very much respects you. she’s likely very protective, even if she might not show it, and you probably contribute to her ideals, in some ways – she wants you to be safe from the evil people in the world, and that just gives her a greater reason to eradicate them. you’re a stable presence in her hectic life, and although she can’t let you come too close to her (as much as she wants you to), she respects and values the friendship you share. she’s your fang, at your service, ready to eradicate anyone who tries to – hey, don’t laugh, she’s being serious here!
mikoto:
your best friend is mikoto kayano! mikoto is…. hard to pin down, exactly. at first glance he’s a very normal guy, with a standard job, always all smiles and jokes, coming up with nicknames for people he meets at the drop of a hat. from first impressions alone, you’d think he’s a completely ordinary person, but the truth is.. a bit more complex. even you, his best friend, might not understand him completely – but you’re close, and the closest by a long shot. mikoto has a tenderness to him that’s hard to fake, but there’s something else, too. something deeply ingrained. something hard to shake off. something almost ominous. something that flashes in the corner of his eyes, something that breaks in his voice, something odd about him. like he was hit a little too hard over the head as a kid. he’s hard to understand, but mikoto’s affection for you is undeniable. he hangs out with you whenever he can, joking around and dragging you out to get boba with him, throwing an arm over your shoulder and tickling you. your friendship, too, seems very normal. it might actually be the most normal thing in mikoto’s life, ironically enough. mikoto seems very ordinary, but you know better, although you try to ignore the signs (a bruise. a trash can overflowing with cigarettes, even though he claims to be a casual smoker. an ominous, dark stain on one of his shoes). even so, you stay. you’re his best friend, wholeheartedly, and whatever secrets he has, whether he himself is aware of them or not, he’ll surely open up to you someday. mikoto is hard to get a read on, and more than meets the eye, for sure – but at the end of the day, he’s simply your best friend. a little silly, but well meaning. more stressed than he lets on, even though he’ll laugh it off if you ask. a nice guy whose smile rarely reaches his eyes, but when it does, you swear you’ll spend the rest of your life engraving it into your memory. he’s mikoto.
