enough of grill the grid as an individual quiz competition. make it a group one. randomise teammates. maximise chaos. make fernando and lewis run a three-legged race together. make max and charles play charades. have them play monopoly

so ik Will’s smile after saying leclerc is locked in seems pretty sus, but tbf i think Will probably just assumes Charles will never ever leave Ferrari. that smile could also be him realizing that it’s no longer true / such a given. idk i’m just not ready to take this as Will leaking it

Rules: list 9 of your favourite characters and let people guess your type (in my case I mean qualifications for being my favorite, I don’t have crushes on them)
I have such a type it's not even funny. Can spot 'em a mile off.
In no particular order except Five is Character Of All Time so he gets to be exactly center.
Tumblr media
Hal Yorke (Being Human UK), Matt Murdock (Netflix Marvel), Bruce Wayne (not particularly Battinson but he does have one of the best batsuits, the actual Bruce Wayne that's my favorite is Unpretty's version in her fics), Kaz Brekker (Six of Crows), Five Hargreeves (Umbrella Academy), Locke Lamora (Gentleman Bastards), Eddie Brock/Venom (Marvel, they count as one), Arthur Lester/John Doe (Malevolent, they do too), Arthur Morgan (Red Dead Redemption 2)
All of these guys selected by virtue of The Amount Of Time I Have Spent Thinking About Them. The exception is Locke Lamora, who I only met last week but he vaulted into the group by virtue of being My Exact Type Of Character.
Tagging @assaily, @non-plutonian-druid, @neosatsuma, @candiliam328 and anyone else who may want to play consider yourself tagged

Super unpopular opinion but:
While George may have been primarily at fault for his turn 1 collision with Carlos at COTA, the truth is that Carlos put himself in a high risk situation. He tried to cut back on the inside of Max after getting passed to try to get a better line in order to get back at Max, instead of taking the normal wider line, so he’s massively slowing down in an unexpected position with 18 cars charging behind him. From the overhead view, even Lewis had to take a bit of evasive action. So while George has responsibility to avoid cars ahead of him, Carlos chose to make a high risk turn 1 move and bears some of the responsibility as well. The 5 second penalty George received was more than adequately harsh for something that when looked at in isolation could have been deemed a turn 1 incident.

Xiao is so interesting because he’s not blindly loyal to rex lapis. It is because he has free will that he chooses to serve. But he’s still adamant to do things his way and find out what happened to Bosacius despite Zhongli discouraging him, or when he refuses to let go of his duty even though that is what Zhongli wants.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez lock out the front row of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix grid for Red Bull
Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez lock out the front row of the grid for Red Bull ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix... as Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton has to settle for fifth in car he does not 'ever plan to drive' again Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez locked out the front row of the Abu Dhabi grid The pair are racing to try and finish 1-2 for Red Bull in the Drivers' Championship Lewis Hamilton had to settle for fifth as he tries to win his first race of the year Hamilton has struggled with his car and does not 'ever plan to drive' it again By Jonathan Mcevoy For Mail On Sunday Published: 22:47, 19 November 2022 | Updated: 22:48, 19 November 2022 Two raging Red Bulls in the shape of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez put their animosity aside to lock out the front row for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The upshot is that Lewis Hamilton has serious work verging on mission impossible ahead of him to maintain his unique record of registering a win in each of his 16 seasons in Formula One. He starts fifth with the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz also ahead of him on the Yas Marina track that offers the overtaking opportunities of a one-way street. Max Verstappen (left) and Sergio Perez (right) locked out the front row of the grid for Red Bull For Hamilton, nearly seven-tenths off Verstappen's crushing pace, has only to contend with his sub-par Mercedes twice more, in today's last of 22 rounds and then in a testing session on Tuesday that is as welcome as head lice. 'I don't ever plan to drive this one again after that,' said Hamilton. 'It's not one I'm going to ask for in my contract. 'We need to build a much more efficient car. Everyone in the team knows the problems and where we have gone wrong. I am pretty confident they are not going to build the next car with any of those characteristics.' His boss Toto Wolff was more scatological in his verdict. 'Today just turned into a toilet day,' ventured the Austrian. 'It's one to put in the toilet.' How low the mood had sunk just a week after George Russell unfurled the team's only triumph of 2022 in Brazil with a faultless demonstration of front-running. The young Englishman merely qualified sixth. Lewis Hamilton will be hoping his car improves ahead of next season after a disappointing year The top cars of the day were in the hands of the squabbling pair of Verstappen and Perez, which was balm after recent bumps. The turbulence goes back to Brazil, where Verstappen refused to yield his place to Perez. This was widely condemned as uncharitable given the Mexican is chasing Leclerc for second place in the final standings. After keeping sixth place for himself, Verstappen alluded to an event earlier in the season that he held against Perez. He did not explain what it was, though he had previously confided in close associates that he believes Perez deliberately pranged during qualifying in Monaco to secure pole position. But here all was sweetness and light. Verstappen gave Perez a tow for his final lap, as agreed in advance. 'I want to help get second place for 'Checo',' said Verstappen, who was jeered as he spoke. Perez was two-tenths off pole but a crucial 0.04sec ahead of Leclerc. No wonder he was glowing in his appreciation, saying: 'Max did a good job for me.' On a weekend of goodbyes, the retiring Sebastian Vettel qualified ninth for Aston Martin. Perez (L) and Verstappen (R) are hoping to secure a Red Bull 1-2 in the Drivers' Championship Share or comment on this article: Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez lock out the front row of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix grid for Red Bull via Formula One | Mail Online https://www.dailymail.co.uk?ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490&ito=1490
