i have a weird relationship with my grandma. i think we both try but we both tend to hit our limits. at least on my part im trying to not let it happen too often tho bc it does feel mean and unnecesary, and she is almost 90

now that one of my brothers is living with us again for a bit, even tho she loves him and he clearly is the favorite grandson, they are currently in a rough spot relationship wise, so im trying to be even kinder to her to try and not get her too down

When Raymond had called you about going and getting lunch, you should have known that something was going on. You and Raymond never talked much without Max around.

Max was at Milton Keynes for testing this week before the season started again, Nico was at school for the day and the sitter was taking care of Nikita for the few hours that you would be out of the house. When you showed up at the restaurant, you saw Raymond talking to someone who was sitting across from him.

As you got closer to the table you couldn’t help but stop in your tracks. Raymond was sitting and talking with Max’s father. Who you had never formally met, or talked to at all. But you knew it was him, from the photos online to see the outline of the same man in your driveway 7 months ago. What was Raymond thinking inviting you to lunch with them?

You timidly walked up to the table before hearing Raymond speak, “Y/N,” He said with a slight nod.

“Hey Raymond,” You greeted him, letting your eyes sweep past Jos.

You didn’t want to look at him, mostly because of the stories that you had heard from Max and Victoria. Jos was a good grandfather to Victoria’s boys, but every time she brought it up with Max you could tell that he was getting angry about it. You always had to keep the peace between them when those conversations started.

Jos stood up from his chair reaching his hand out to take yours. You glanced at it and then at him. He was only slightly shorter than Max. Bigger in build from the fact that he wasn’t on an athletic diet like Max, who had to keep his weight down so he would be in top shape for when the season started in a few short weeks.

You didn’t want to shake his hand but did anyway. There had to be a reason as to why you were here. You just hoped it wasn’t to make a deal with the man who Max grew to despise as he grew up.

He gave you a half smile, and although it didn’t seem malicious you couldn’t help but slightly question it.

“Jos.” Max’s father said.

“Y/N.” You replied.

“I know, my son’s wife.” He made a vague gesture towards you. “Where are my lovely grandsons, if you don’t mind me asking.”

You flinched internally at the word lovely. You loved the way Max said that word when he was complimenting you, or commenting on something that was going on. Hearing Max’s father say the same word and what followed after, made knots in your stomach start to form.

“I actually do.” You played with your wedding and engagement ring as you looked at him, not bothering to answer his question.

The more you looked at him, the more you could pick up the little parts of Max’s features that he got from Jos. His nose, his eyes, even though Max’s were a darker shade of blue. Max had a mix of Jos and Sophie’s hair. Luckily Max had gotten the majority of Sophie’s features.

“I was right, wasn’t I Ray?” Jos turned to Raymond. You could see his smile turn up a little more. “Max chose well.”

You had heard from Christian that Raymond and Jos were friends but never gave it much thought before now. You were sure that Max hadn’t told his father about the house, so Jos was keeping tabs on Max through Raymond.

“Is there a reason as to why I’m here?” If there wasn’t then you would like to go about the rest of your day. You still needed to get groceries before going and picking Nico up from school.

“I wanted to meet you,” Jos said before reaching for the glass that was in front of him. “Meet the woman who is going to help mold my grandson’s future in Formula 1.”

“You don’t know that, you have no idea if my son is going to keep karting.” You crossed your legs, your eyes traveling over Jos’ face trying to read into what he wasn’t saying.

“You’re son?” Jos mocked placing his glass back down onto the table.

“Yes.” You fired back. You didn’t need to hear this from him. Jos hadn’t been in Max’s life for a long time, and he had never even known Nico.

You watched as Jos’ shoulders went lax, sitting further back in his chair. His eyes studied you for a moment before he nodded.

“I’m surprised,” He crossed his arms.

“By?” You asked quizzically.

“My son finding someone… who can handle everything.” You wanted to question Jos. What did he mean by that? Everything? Did he mean Max’s career, his schedule, him being away all the time? Him having to raise a child by himself essentially for the first few years of Nico’s life?

You shook your head, “I don’t understand what you mean by everything. It’s not like my life is all that different. I’m married and I have 2 children. What’s so different about-?”

“I meant,” He said, cutting you off. “That you can love my grandson as if he’s your own.”

Your eyes hardened. Of course, you loved Nico as your own. How could you not? He was a sweet boy, who loved playing with his model cars, wanted to ride his bike around the driveway, and was always polite to those around him.

“There is no if, in that, it’s not as if he’s my own. That little boy is my son regardless of what you or other people might think.” You didn’t know Jos like Max did so you had no problem telling him how things were. “I can’t believe that you even though it would be right to make Max give Nico up. Max is an amazing father to our children.”

You almost wanted to tell him that you felt bad for him. He would never get to see what a great dad Max was to the boys. He would just have to hear about it from other people.

Jos moved forward in his chair almost as if he wanted to lunge at you. You didn’t flinch or move away.

“You think that you have a right to tell me this.” He said defensively.

“I have every right,” You calmly replied. You weren’t going to elaborate. You didn’t need to.

You made sure to meet his eyes and could see the recognition in them. He knew deep down that you were right. But he would never admit it publicly or try to talk to Max about it. He had too much pride for that. He had raised Max to achieve everything that he did and now got to revel in it when anyone asked who pushed Max to succeed. It was like Jos fed off it.

“If you want to keep tabs on Max through Raymond, that is none of my business, but please respect that my husband doesn’t want you near our children.” You moved out of your chair pushing it in. Jos had moved his hands onto the armrest of the chair as if he were going to get up. “My children’s career, be it racing or otherwise is none of your concern.”

You pushed up your hand to stop him from getting up from his chair. You didn’t want to be there. You should have just left when you saw that it was Jos here with Raymond.

You gave Jos one last look and you could see that whatever he was trying to accomplish by getting you here had failed. You collected your bag from the top of the table and walked away from them both.

You weren’t going to enjoy telling Max about this.

Five Days Later - Sunday

Wife of Formula 1 Driver, Max Verstappen, Y/N Verstappen seen abruptly leaving a restaurant just outside of Saint-Tropez

A few days ago one of our journalists was in Saint-Tropez and saw Y/N Verstappen, wife of 4 time World Champion Max Verstappen in a restaurant.

Verstappen's wife, Y/N was there for less than half an hour, and she was seen talking to who appeared to be Verstappen's father Jos, and his manager, Raymond Vermeulen. Over the years, people have started to notice that Jos Verstappen hasn't been present at F1 races and is never seen around the paddock anymore.

Rumors have spread that Verstappen banned his father, saying that he was too much of a distraction, making it hard for Max to compete. Verstappen's father was absent for all of Max's championship wins dating all the way back to his first in 2021. Just over a year after Verstappen's oldest son was born. Although, Jos being banned from the paddock has never been confirmed by Max or anyone from the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team.

From what the journalist saw, Y/N didn't seem all that happy to be sharing the same space with Jos. She sat down for a few minutes, didn't order anything, had what seemed to be a harsh conversation with him, and then collected her bag before getting into the navy blue Bentley Bentayga S 2026 that her husband bought her as a birthday present.

Jos Verstappen didn't look pleased after Y/N had left the table and was seen yelling at Vermeulen.

In December of last year, Y/N gave birth to Verstappen's second child, a boy named Nikita, named after racing legend Niki Lauda. Which they announced via. Y/N's Instagram. This is the first time that she has been seen out in public since the birth of her son.

One Day Later - Saint-Jean Cap Ferret

You had been in the kitchen making yourself something to eat after just having put Nikita down for his afternoon nap. Max had come storming into the room with his phone in hand, from the spare bedroom where his racing sim was set up.

"Did you have lunch with my father and Raymond while I was away last week?" 

You had stopped what you were doing and just looked at Max. You had never seen him so angry before. His expression was almost unreadable. You had only ever seen him look like this after something had gone wrong during a race.

You put down the knife that you were holding, "Yes." You started to say. You wouldn't really call the encounter that you had with Jos lunch, but to Max that would only be a minor detail. "Raymond called me and asked that I come meet him."

"You went, of course, without telling me." He stated, moving his hands a bit as he spoke.

You knew why Max was saying this. He didn't want Jos around you or Nico remembering how Max was after Jos had visited the house all those months ago. The following days after Max had been rather clingy with you and Nico, wanting to be around you as much as possible.

"I didn't know that Jos was going to be there." You hadn't but you should have assumed that it wouldn't just be a friendly lunch between you and Raymond either.

“You…” He started to say before he cut himself off. “You shouldn’t have gone. Not without me.”

“I don’t need you to protect me Max.” You had always been able to handle things by yourself, that hadn’t changed. 

Max walked closer to you, leaving his phone face up on the counter. It was unlocked to show a Daily Mail article, with a photo of you from last week. It was you leaving the restaurant before you had gotten back into your car to go home.

Max didn't walk any closer to you, keeping a fair distance between the two of you. You could see one of his hands slightly twitch as if he was going to reach out for you. He dropped his hand at his side and then ran it through his hair.

"Were the boys with you?" He asked. You watched as his eyes moved no doubt studying your face.

"No," You said with a sigh. You would never have taken the boys with you to meet Raymond alone. Maybe that's why you were so insistent that Sylvie stayed at the house with Nikita. Your instincts told you that it was better not to take Nikita with you. "Nico was at school and I left Nikita with Sylvie so I could go see Raymond," And your father, you thought. "And then went and got groceries before I went to pick up Nico once he got out of school for the day."

You knew better than to take Nico shopping with you, he would always put things in the shopping cart that you didn't need.

Max nodded but didn't say anything else to you. He walked out of the room, leaving his phone, not looking at you at all.

You picked it up and read through the article. There would no doubt be comments on Twitter about you with the hashtag #lionessverstappen. You had grown used to the moniker but never thought that your being protective over Max and the boys would lead to this type of reaction from Max.

You had never had to explain to Max why you did things throughout the entire time that you had been together. There had always been a reason and Max had understood that. Why couldn’t he understand this?

You didn’t follow Max out of the room because you knew if you did it would lead to both of you yelling at each other. So you just stayed in the kitchen and kept cooking. You finished making yourself food and then started the prep for dinner.

As you stared at the plate of food that you had made, you couldn’t help but push it away from you. You didn’t want to eat anything. You knew that you should since you were still breastfeeding but you couldn’t manage it. So you forgo eating and pull out your laptop to answer some work emails.

You glanced out into the backyard to see Max pacing back and forth while talking on the house phone, his hair in complete disarray from running his hand through it so many times.

As you looked at him, you wanted to tell him why you had gone to talk to Raymond.

Max didn’t talk about Jos unless he had to. He was always a sore subject. You thought that going and talking to Raymond would give you more insight into Max’s relationship with Jos. But after you had met Jos yourself, you were quick to realize that you should have waited for Max to talk to you about this when he was ready, even if he never would be.

After having only spent half an hour with Jos. You understood that Jos cared more for himself and the way he looked in the eyes of the media and F1 history than actually being a good parent/grandparent when it came down to it, or when it had anything to do with Max. He wanted people to view him as the person who helped mold a champion. It just happened to be that that Champion was his own flesh and blood.

The sound of the crackle from the baby monitor pulled you out of your thoughts. You left your computer open, rushing to Nikita’s room. Not noticing that Max had watched you leave before he sat down on the couch outside with his hands in his hair. The house phone now lying on the coffee table after he finished talking with the Red Bull team publicist.

You and Max hadn’t talked to each other all evening. Both of you paid attention to Nico at dinner and as you kept looking over at Max, there were only a few fleeting moments when you could feel him look at you.

This was the first time since you and Max had gotten married that you didn’t feel happy. After just a year of marriage, you had your first fight. Better now than later.

“I don’t want it to be like this.” He said after turning off the faucet in the kitchen after dinner.

You had sent Nico up to his room to finish his homework assignment, and Sylvie had taken Nikita to his room after his 7 pm feeding.

“Like what?”

“I don’t want you to keep things from me.”

“What do you want me to say, Max?” You asked in urnist. “I didn’t tell you that I saw your father. I didn’t want to tell you given what we ended up talking about.” Even if you wanted to justify it by saying that you only meant to talk to Raymond that wouldn’t help.

Max gave you a pensive look, his lips pressed into a firm line.

“I know.” He muttered before you saw his lips quiver. “What did he say?”

You shook your head. “You don’t want to know.”

“Tell me, please.” he pleaded. You shook your head not wanting to tell him before sighing.

“Something about helping mold Nico for Formula 1.” With those words, it was like you momentarily saw the color drain from Max’s face.

“He’s an asshole, and my father… and he-”

Max cut himself off with a sob. You moved closer to him, taking his face in your hands, holding his cheeks, and searching his eyes. Seeing the tears start to form, the storm brewing in the blues of his eyes.

You wanted to tell Max what Jos had said to you but thought it would be better for Max to get his thoughts out first.

“Jos had always pushed me to be the best when it comes to racing, and I, of course, let him because I thought it would make him proud of me.” He paused for a second as if he was trying to think of the right way to say something. “The only good thing he ever did for me was show me what it truly takes to be a father and love your children unconditionally.” He took in a sharp breath.

Max had pulled your hands away from his face. It was as if he needed the space to be able to get those final few thoughts out.

“There were always strings attached when it came to Jos being proud of me. If I wasn’t doing well, then he wasn’t proud of me. I know now, from the boys, that if you truly love your children, you put their interests first, always.”

That was why Max had such a hard time when Nico started karting. It was what Nico wanted at the time, and what he was still passionate about even now, but Max didn’t want to make Nico feel like, if he wasn’t doing well he wouldn’t be proud of him.

“I don’t want to feel as if he defines me, because I know that I’m nothing like him. But I can’t help it at times.” You didn’t want to keep telling Max that he was nothing like Jos. Being like Jos would always be Max’s biggest fear, and the only way that he would be able to get over it was for him to work through it. He would need you for that reassurance until the boys were old enough to be able to tell Max themselves that he had done the best that he could for them.

“I wanted to keep you away from him, so you wouldn’t see the parts of me that I get from him.” Max continued to say. “I can’t lose you, not when I’m grateful for all of the things that you have done for me, and our family.”

“You won’t lose me, I won’t let you.” You promised him.

Max was quick to drop his head afterward. “We don’t fight.”

It was true, you and Max didn’t have arguments. You weren’t those types of people.

“Maybe not, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t disagree on things in the future.” You said.

Max had held his hands out to you facing his palms out, inviting you to touch him. Offering himself up to you.

You moved closer to him, taking his hands in yours. “It matters that we worked it out.” He moved closer before resting his forehead against yours. “That we always find a solution, together.”

“We will.”

“I’m sorry, for getting upset with you.” He said.

“I’m sorry for not telling you that I went to lunch with Raymond and that Jos was there as well. I should have told you right after it happened.”

“It’s okay Schat,” Out of all of Max’s pet names for you that was the one he used the least. “I know you were only doing what you thought you needed to.”

“What did you say to him?” He asked muttering the words into your hair. Max was looking past you a little lost in thought.

You let out a small sigh, “I told him to respect that you don’t want him around the boys, and that Nico’s career wasn’t any of his concern.”

With those words, it put the conversation to rest. Max met your eyes, and you could see his shoulders relax.

Max pressed his lips to your forehead, and then your cheek. You let him hold you for a moment, running your fingers over his back as you felt his shoulders relax further. You slotted your head against his shoulder.

As you stood there in each other's arms the baby monitor crackled awake with the sound of Nikita fussing. You pulled back from Max before he stopped you.

“I’ll get him.” Max reached up and cupped your cheek before leaving you in the kitchen to calm him. You ended up pushing in the kitchen chairs that weren’t tucked under the counter. 

“Come, Nikita, come to Papa.” You heard over the baby monitor as you moved to sit in the living room. You could hear Nikita lightly fussing but it ended rather quickly.

You moved onto the couch taking the cashmere blanket that was hanging off the edge and laying it over your legs before you saw Max come back into the room with Nikita lying against his shoulder.

You didn’t move from your sport, instead you stayed there watching Max interact with the baby, as he gave him all of his attention. Nico had come into the living room, shoving the papers from his homework into his bag. He ended up climbing onto the couch before crawling over to you sitting in your lap, and laying his head on your shoulder.

Nico had gotten extra clingy with you now that Nikita was around. He wanted to always have your attention when he could even if you were trying to change Nikita’s diaper or make sure that Nikita wasn’t being fussy. It had taken a bit of time but eventually, Nico started to understand that you were paying more attention to Nikita because he was a baby, not because Nico had been replaced.

Max eventually joined you and Nico on the couch with Nikita tucked into his arms. You spend a little longer in the living room with them until Nico's head grew heavy against your shoulder after he fell asleep. You switch with Max, him taking Nico and putting him to bed and you taking Nikita, putting him in the bassinet that was in the master bedroom.

Eventuality both you and Max make it to bed, he can't seem to let you go once you’re under the covers sharing a few kisses before your eyes are too heavy to stay open. He pulled you flush against him, your head over his chest, his hands finding any bare skin that he could feel without the fabric of one of his shirts getting in his way.

“I love you.” You mutter into his chest. You need him to know that through every argument and all the time spent away from one another, you still love him and will always be there for him.

“Ik houd ook van jou, mijn leeuwin.” You can tell from the tone in Max’s voice that he’s almost asleep but not quite there yet. You feel one of his hands move out from under the shirt that you’re wearing before he reaches to take your hand in his. He kisses the back of your hand and then interlocks your fingers together placing it on the vacant part of his chest.

"Mort: Ragnarick" was pure fun, but a different kind of fun than "Rickfending Your Mort" and "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie."

"Rickfending Your Mort" was a laid-back clip show that gave the viewer a break after the insanity of "Unmortricken"--a smart decision but not one with a lot of substance. "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie" has been controversial. I thought it was entertaining, but it would've worked better as a YouTube short.

If "Unmortricken" represented lore episodes at their best, "Mort: Ragnarick" was the best of classic Rick and Morty adventures: a wildly imaginative plot, goofy satire, fantasy science and Rick and Morty working together as a duo, reminding us how much they need each other.

Rick's the driving force behind these adventures, but without Morty, he's just a miserable old man trying to distract himself. Morty's the heart and voice of reason. He also gives Rick something to live for. Without him, Beth, Jerry or Summer, why do anything?

Rick pretends to live for science, but "science" just caused decades of grief and isolation. His family isn't a concept; it's an entity that loves him back.

Bigfoot, an evil pope, Pokeballs, Valhalla, clone bodies, infinite energy sources, zombie Summer, Rick screaming "PO-O-O-O-OPE!": only Rick and Morty could combine all those concepts into one cohesive episode. I never thought "Wow, that took me out of the story." The Pokeball came close, but the end credits scene tied it all together.

Jerry's scene was a standout, too. Chris Parnell's reading of "Nana!" was genuinely sweet. It seems like Jerry's becoming a (mostly) willing participant in Rick's schemes instead of a helpless guinea pig. Is Rick learning that releasing his iron grip on his family makes them more attached to him, not less?

I also loved it when the Vikings called Rick a witch. He loves crystals, plays with magic, has two crows as familiars: damn right, he is!

You have to suspend your disbelief a couple of times, mainly when Bigfoot attacks Rick in the kitchen (he crushed Rick earlier like it was nothing, but now Rick walks away with a few scratches?) Still, the little character moments overshadow these flaws.

Judging by old posts that I've seen floating around, I think Rick and Morty's relationship is finally becoming what fans wanted it to be in seasons 1-3. Rick's still mean, but he's less dominant and more of Morty's mischievous co-conspirator. An alien mobster freaking out in "The Jerrick Trap" because of Rick's "touch my grandson and die" policy is straight out of fanon.

Rick's more physically gentle, and Morty responds in kind. He grabs and supports him when Bigfoot attacks him at home and touches his arm during their weird, overdramatic Bigfoot send-off. His pained cry of "Rick!" when Bigfoot nearly crushes him is heart-wrenching. Operation Phoenix is back online, but Morty's tired of watching him die!

Season five is when Rick started showing emotions on his face besides that cold, pissed-off glare--we all know the one--and in season seven, it's accelerated to Rick crying in front of others. He matches Morty's feelings instead of pretending that he's above human emotions.

Needless to say, dudebros have been flooding Adult Swim's Instagram comments and Twitter replies with "Rick and Morty is shit now!" "Rick's too nice!" "Rick and Morty has gone woke!" Justin Roiland's firing gave them more fuel, but they started even while he was still on the payroll.

Their favorite line is "Rick isn't Rick anymore!" And they're right. Rick's not the asshole from seasons 1-2 who had a couple of redeeming qualities. He's not the monster that he was in season three and parts of season four. He's not the defeated man in season five who started to realize that he's hurting people but still wanted Morty to look after him like a child.

Season six is when he started to grow up--not a lot, but enough that he began taking on adult responsibilities instead of thinking he's a teenage boy who sees another teenager as his peer. I wish we saw more therapy appointments, but while they're mostly off-screen, we're definitely seeing the effects.

This doesn't make Rick a great person or atone for what he's done. Some of his crimes are beyond atonement, and not just the obvious ones like blowing up planets. This is a universe where everyone has a body count and events that should've destroyed Earth have no effect on civilization. Death and destruction don't mean that much.

His worst crimes are the personal ones: destroying Morty's psyche in "The Vat of Acid Episode," treating his family like garbage for most of season three. You can't atone for that. You can't apologize for that.

However, I don't only judge characters by their past. I judge them by their capacity to change.

Walter White is a brilliant character, but he's not a personal favorite because his arc is a slow descent into hell. Rick's slowly climbing out of his crater, and while it doesn't erase the past, it's still happening. For me, that's more satisfying than watching a monster become a bigger monster.

Of course, he's still not above cosplaying as Odin while wearing a golden crown that literally says "GOD." But the former "no girls allowed" alpha male has become a dedicated therapy patient who's also a thirst object that would make bros cry about double standards. Sure, Rick, you're a god, now put on that weird half-shirt and prance around a little.

Definitely my most controversial pick for this list! Catra was an abused child soldier and abused her sister Adora, she was redeemed buttt her arc wasn't really...good. Awww poor guy, forcing someone into having sex with you with holding what they need for their job over their head, his crimes took me a bit longer considering he's considered just a poor guy buttt here's a list I thought of from the top of my head: Child Neglect, Abuse of power (unsure if that's a crime) harrasment, r*pe

One of the more sympathetic ones, he's still an asshole but he does try to change and he is well written. Y'know the together!RLS au? The one where they stay "together"? Yes, so, a hc about it!

Sanji's birthday, maybe 14 yo especifially, and both Law and Robin aren't really far from Baratie and both just think "fuck it. we haven't see our baby brother in four years!" and call one month before his birthday to say they will go see him. Sanji is over the moon, of course, and the next day when ASL and Garp come to Baratie, he tells his boyfriends the news.

So, his day comes and both his siblings are there early, so they can help and have time for just the three of them. Some hours later, when the hour of the party comes, Garp and his grandsons arrive. ASL are very very happy to see Sanji and celebrate for the first time with him as boyfriends.

And they also meet their boyfriend older siblings and also watch their dynamic and... it's different from them own, RLS are more the quiet & subite affection type. Watch the casual way Robin and Law use their devil fruits (Robin even more) is kinda freaking out everyone except Sanji.

In the end of the day, Law gives Sanji a gift who is a new version of the blonde's old camera, bc the other wasn't working more (but Law managed to save the photos) with Sanji's favorite photos from all the ones they've take. Now, he has the photos on his wall and desk, just like new ones with his boyfriends.

That's so cute!! Oh lordy, okay.

So in preparation for Sanji's birthday Robin finds out Crocodile is headed to the East Blue for business around that time and she asks to tag along saying she has business at Baratie on Sanji's birthday and Crocodile shrugs and agrees. Law has to get a few things specifically in the East Blue before heading back to the North Blue and decides the crew is going to meet Sanji and celebrate his birthday. Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin are losing it as the others in the crew are confused about who Sanji is outside of the photo Law has hanging. So they are both headed to Baratie, having called beforehand to inform him of their being there. Sanji is absolutely ecstatic about them coming.

They arrive a day early for introductions to be made properly and to start setting up for the closure-even if Sanji insisted that they didn't need to be Zeff kicked him swiftly and told him to shut up and enjoy the family reunion properly. Patty and Carne and the other staff are concerned about Nico Robin being there because of the rumors but Law calls them all dumb assholes which Zeff laughs at. Law isn't wrong and Zeff says so. Sanji and Robin meet the rest of the Heart crew that came after the storm, excited to see them either way. So they close down and clean and Law of course runs scans over his siblings because they're his siblings and he needs to make sure they're okay.

The next morning as they're setting the last few things for the party up they find Sanji smoking outside and Law is shaking the now fourteen year old and demanding why he's ruining his lungs and tastebuds as Robin giggles. Sanji is grumbling something or other about them meeting his boyfriends and understanding. Law immediately sicks Bepo upon him. Sanji just burrows into the bear. Then Garp arrives with ASL and the loud screaming immediately interrupts the calm as Sanji apologizes for them. All of them touchy and grabby with the blond as they scream happy birthday and Sanji. Law sighs and Zeff did say Sanji warned them, Law disagrees and says they weren't properly warned.

Of course ASL are all over Sanji but when he does get them to calm down, as much as he can anyway, Robin and Law make polite conversation with them and help with the party. Garp is keeping an eye on the wanted siblings, losing a lot of trust in Sanji for hiding them. But Garp is also watching Law shambles dirty dishes away as Robin refills drinks and plates and fixes Sanji's hair and clothes with the extra hands she sprouts all over. Law also will just walk over and fix the way he looks and complains he's still too thin and chastise him for smoking.

The Baratie staff and Zeff find their powers weird and kind of gross. ASL are watching with interest because it's way more subtle, the way they show their affection to Sanji. It's just not as overt, subtle in the way they pull him aside to fix him. The little brushes as they pass by, and the looks thrown to him. When it's time for presents it's mostly cookbooks and clothes. Law gives him a box and apologizes for the first one breaking and Sanji is looking at him confused until he opens the box and freezes. Ace moves into ask what's wrong as tears start falling but Sanji is wrapped around Law as Robin sprouts hands to catch the box. Law is just holding him as Robin looks in the box and smiles as she picks through the photos and calls him a masochist with a smile. Zeff asks what the hell is going on as Sanji wipes his face and calls Law an asshole with a big smile as Robin displays the camera and explains they got one for Sanji a few weeks after meeting the little skeleton boy.

Do they take a lot of photos that day? Yes. Does Sanji hang up photos all over his room? Yes. Are they also all over the tree house and bandit house? Yes. Law gave him the best present that day. And it gets a lot of use.

Man the way KH brainrot has me going insane, especially khux and having ven shoot up from top 5 characters all the way to number 1, like he's the most tragic character and I can't get over it (i will fight anyone who says its not ven they're wrong).

Like in unchained x he's likely 8 years old, no wonder he always considered himself not very good and didn't have friends. All the keyblade wielders are preteens and teens none of them want to train a 8 year old from the ground up which sucks because we know by bbs he's actually very strong and a talented wielder.

Then we fast forward 2 years to union x and it was only recently pointed out to me that has he not replaced strelitzia he likely would've fought in the keyblade war. He narrowly escaped dying as a child soilder at 10 in war and the universe saw that and decided to make his life worse for it. Because then we find out the original darkness took advantage of him and the guilt nearly ate him alive he was willing to let his own surrogate brother strike him down as righteous justice. But when that didn't happen he then willingly jumped into a fight he knew he would lose to save his friends at 11 years old. Ven is a baby! He's too young for all this! And then he never sees his friends the only family he's ever known again! What the fuck!

And then the poor kid gets screwed over even more because a maniacal old man has been obsessed with his visage his whole life and he gets trained tortured for a year and when xehanort can't mold ven into his perfect weapon he just straight up murders him! Ven is only 12 and this is the second attempt on his life! He barely survived and then gets placed in the care of his old friends grandson that he does not know or remember and then is almost killed by him (god poor ven the memories are too painful to bear) and then he's lied to about losing his new friends and forced into a fight to the death. Once again Ven willingly enters a fight he knows will end badly for him to save his friends and he's 16! That's 4 murder attempts now!

And then poor Ven is left in an enchanted coma for 12 years since radiant garden doesn't fall for another year and then 9 years go by until KH I and then Sora goes to sleep for a year after COM, and then when he finally wakes up it's to fight in the war he barely escaped from as a child.

And only now post Melody of Memory he reaches 17 by a miracle but it seems the fortellers and MoM are the new big bads so I can only imagine what horrors wait for Ven. Poor kid barely escaped childhood and has had years of his life stolen from him like Ven cannot catch a goddamn break and he lives rent free in my head I think about his overarching story too long and I can feel the madness set in.

Totally!!!! Nothing but bad times are coming for this kid in the coming saga. There's the stress of looking for Sora, of course, but then after everyone let's their guard down DARING to believe that they'll get some peace and quiet for once in their lives THESE assholes with the animal masks and the unbelievably strong keyblades show up and Ventus recognizes them somewhat. And then that leads to him slowly getting his memories back and he remembers what happened to him in the past. He'll collapse from the weight of it all!!!

Ventus is so. Everything to me. I think he's probably my favorite character in the "mainline" series proper. You can fit SO much horrific experiences inside of this little blonde boy

I’m having so much thoughts about Grandpa Rome seeing Romano post transition. Like last time he saw Romano he was a little girl. His temperamental granddaughter he called princess and gifted all the pretty things to. And your telling him this tall stubbly chinned grouchy asshole of a guy is her? Okay. Whatever.

I just see Rome as so accepting about it right off the bat. Like yeah he IS confused about it, he will ask those uncomfortable questions, but he’s not pissed off and interrogating Romano, he’s literally just trying to understand, he’s not meaning to be insensitive. Like for as much as I see Rome as an asshole and an awful guardian, at least I think he’d be the most tolerant of queer shit even when he doesn’t get it.

You better bet your fucking ass Romano is gonna cry because he was so fucking scared to show himself to his grandfather thinking he was gonna violently disapprove just like many others have done in his life, only for him to literally say whatever and hug him. Like. C’mon. Of course your beloved grandpa Rome is gonna love and accept you! You’re his grandson! And he’s definitely not playing favorites with his grandchildren vs his actual children!

WHAT IS CHARLOTTE HOLMES AND SHOULD I READ IT

OH MY GOD TIME FOR AN INFODUMP IM SO AUTISTIC ABOUT THESE BOOKS

ok so the charlotte holmes series is a series of 4 books [a study in charlotte, the last of august, the case for jamie, and a question of holmes]. AND THEYRE SO GOOD OH MY FUCJING GOD

essentially, a study in charlotte follows Jamie Watson [great great great grandson of John Watson, yknow the Sherlock Watson]. he moves from England to a boarding school in Connecticut, closer to his estranged father, and there he meets Charlotte Holmes [great × whatever granddaughter of Sherlock Holmes]. their families hadn't been on great terms for a while but he had always dreamed of meeting her, but when he does, it's because he's sticking up for her against the school's biggest asshole (and the guy who had bullied her for years). there's eventually a fight, and they part ways with charlotte making it very clear that she can stick up for herself. HOWEVER! when her bully is murdered later that night, charlotte and jamie find themselves the #1 suspects and have to work together to figure out who actually killed him.

I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS SERIES!!!!!! IT HAS AMAZING CHARACTER GROWTH, REPRESENTATION OF MENTAL ILLNESSES AND COMPLEXITIES OF DIFFERENT FRIENDSHIPS!!! PLUS AN AMAZING SLOWBURN WHERE YOU KNOW THAT THEYRE MADE FOR EACH OTHER AND THEY KNOW IT BUT THEY ALWAYS TAKE IT SLOW TO MAKE SURE THAT ITS HEALTHY FOR THE BOTH OF THEM!!!!

there are some big tws tho: this series includes depictions/discussions of: sa, child neglect, manipulation, murder, violence, sh, depression, su!cid@l thoughts, and underage drug/alcohol usage nothing is super graphic but it can get really deep and a lil upsetting at points

overall, this is one of my favorite book series ever and I'd highly reccomend it to literally anyone. repressed people in love solving mysteries!! bc they are intrinsically tied together RAHH I COULD TALK ABT THEM FOREVER

my favorite stardew villager is Penny. She's just so sweet and deserves all the love. Running a school for Jal and Vincent... so cute. Idk maybe I relate to her a little bit too bc I usually marry her and when I don't I do the house upgrade for her.

My favorite bachelor is probably Harvey. He's just an unproblematic king. All he wants to do is treat the population of this tiny village in his little practise, drink coffee and play his flight sim.

My favourite non bachelor is Linus. He's just such a good friend when you get to know him and yeah, he's a sustainable king wild living, looking after himself, helping everyone he can (especially Leo 💛 such a sweet storyline) and he's just so nice about everything you gift him. Lovely man definitely worth building friendship with.

My favorite non bachelorette is Evelyn. Sending cookies in the mail, looking after her grandson, putting requests on the message board for her husbands favorite foods. 🥺 she's so sweet. The way she keeps the flowers maintained in the town center too.

Dishonourable mention to Pam, the abusive alcoholic who crashed the towns only bus at the beginning of the game. Lewis the embezzling asshole who won't use the towns tax fund to fix the bus but will pay for gold statues in his likeness. Self absorbed prick. The way he treats Marnie too, keeping their relationship a secret for what reason? Neither of them are married, she's not in a position where dating her would put his career as mayor in jeporady, so why is he treating their relationship like an illicit affair?? They're too old to be doing all this sneaking around, secret relationship crap. She's a lovely lady and deserves better.

I keep thinking that when I get around to properly writing this in not draft form (looking at you earlier chapters) I'm going to write some scenes from other character's POV (Grandma's whole 48 hours with the monsters from her POV and FF's POV as he talks to the nice FBI agent Iruma Matsumoto). Writing from Neil's POV inbetween helped me a lot in keeping this chapter from being too heavy. (Also snuck in a bit of the Neil & FF friendship)

Ichirou's POV and like turning the shit that FF WOULD SAY into stuff that Ichirou could misinterpret took me sooo long it's why the chapter came out so much later than I wanted it to (that and I spent most of my weekend building that link tree for the AUs)

Aaron is one of my favorite characters who does not get used enough IMO. Like he's fucking funny! Yeah he's kind of an asshole Neil's freshman year but like he's a STUDENT ATHLETE in PRE-MED dealing with THE MAFIA. Also I really love writing the Monsters as just like...normal guys. Like it's not all overwrought conversations sometimes it's "No Kevin, putting vanilla protein powder in chicken stock is not 'Like Chicken and Waffles' it's a CRIME."

I do feel bad about how GS is just constantly like dogging him but in a voice that makes him preen but like to be fair.... vanilla protein powder into her sweet grandson's soup.

FF is always worried about the most important things when faced with a situation. Like 'At least it's a beautiful day I can cloud watch as Captain Neil and Andrew murder me.' , 'I hope there's a bathroom in this torture chamber' , 'Oh gross he didn't wash his hands before he left the bathroom to go murder Captain Neil', and 'Oh no I WAS racist and RUDE. Why the fuck didn't I ask for his name BEFORE I had that conversation. GS raised you better!'

the heck even happens in Rick and morty

Just gonna infodump on you cause you asked for it! Spoilers ahead! Infodump under the cut

So there is the Smith family, they are the main characters, you have Beth Smith, the alcoholic mother, Jerry Smith, the bumbling unemployed dad, Summer Smith, the badass sister, and of course Morty Smith, the 14-year-old anxiety-ridden poor boy, and the main character, Rick Sanchez, he's around 70 and is Morty's grandfather, and he has A LOT of issues. He's an alcoholic, definitely depressed, hates himself, and loves Morty more than he loves himself (Which isn't saying much since he hates himself, but still, he loves the kid a whole lot)

Ok, now we got them, I'll just quickfire everything that happens in season one, Rick has Morty shove megaseeds up his butt so they cam go through interdimensional customs with the megaseeds, and he almost gets kicked out due to pulling Mourt out of school, but the megaseeds dissolve just in time giving Morty temporary superintellgence, leading Beth and Jerry to believe that Morty spending time with Rick is making him smarter, when it's not, they leave and that opens to the first garage rant and brings up the iconic quote "100 years Rick and Morty!" Which will come back. Next Rick incepts Morty's math teacher to give Morty As in math, Scary Terry follows them, but they end up becoming his friend after Rick and Morty stop him from having a bad dream, and they get Morty's math teacher to get him an A. Next Morty goes inside a human body and tries to save anatomy park, a park inside of a human body, it breaks down at the end though soooo. Next up Rick gets trapped inside a simulation that aliens trapped him in so they can get his recipe for concetrated dark matter, the fuel for accelerated space travel. Nothing much of note, but we do get a cute protective Rick moment, when he finds out Morty was simulated, his first response was "You simulated my grandson's genitalia!? You diabolical sons of bitches!" He even tries to attack them, but is held back. Next up in a personal favorite of mine, Rick and Morty make a bet that Morty can have a simpe, fun adventure. It starts off rocky, and gets even rockier when we get to that infamous Mr. Jellybean scene, I assume I don't have to talk about it, you already know it probably. Thankfully, Rick is super sweet and understand, not only does he throw the bet so Morty will be happy, but he also kills Mr. Jellybean which has me CACKLING!

Next up is a plot important episode, Morty asks Rick for a love potion to make Jessica fall in love with him, for context Jessica is Morty's crush, Rick at first says no, but eventually relents, but since Jessica has the fuel, it spreads to the entire school, Rick comes to get Morty since he isn't affected by it, since the love potion doesn't work on any related to Morty gentically.A VERY tasteful choice in my opinion, Rick tries to fix it, but just makes a bad situation worse. Rick travels to another dimension where they died, Morty understandably freaks out, but then Rick explains the plan, they just slip into the places of their dead selves, and continue as if nothing happen. Morty is understandably traumatized from this experience, and then we move to the next episode.

Next up is a pretty meh episode, Morty gets an uhm robot, but it was actually a birthing machine, and because of this Morty gets a chld, he tries to be a good father, but fails since well, he's 14, and the baby was naturally very aggressive from the day he was born. There is a sideplot with Rick and Summer, but it's mostly just Rick being a sexist asshole

Next up is an episode I admittably really like, basically it just resolves around Rick and Morty watching interdimensional cable, and it's just nice to see them bonding, there is a pretty good side plot with the rest of their family seeing what their life could've been. Eventually Beth and Jerry divorce but get back together when they realized that they would've gotten back together in a nother dimeson. It's a very sweet scene

Next up Rick drives Summer to work and meets the devil, where his store sells cursed items, eventually he beats the devil by setting up a store that uncurses his items for cash, yeah, he's petty, and I love him. There's a side plot where Jerry goes to Pluto, but there's nothing of note there, we do however gets a sweet moment where Rick is happy to see Morty but hides it, he sees Morty and says while smiling "Hey!" then clears his throat, frowns and says "Hey." very slick Rick.

Next up is a really really good episode, its the first canon episode and it is amazing. We get to meet two iconic characters, Doofus Rick who is a precious cinnamon roll, and Evil Morty who is an evil boy. The council of Ricks think Rick is killing other Ricks, but Rick found out it was evil Morty, we also find out an important detail, Rick hangs around Morty because he uses his brainwaves as camoflague. And we also get a sweet moment where Rick cries from his memories of Morty as a baby

The last episode of season one is eh, it's not great, but it's not bad. We get to meet Rick's friends Squanchy and Birdperson but they don't do much, basically Rick just throws a house party when Beth and Jerry are out of town on their titanic themed getaway. We also get a sweet bonding moment between Rick, Summer, and Morty which is cute.

So that's season one, there are 6 more seasons, go watch it, it's great!

Monster Universe AU Short Story: Monster Morty TF

Note: Like I said, I’ll also do monster au stories other than Solar Opposites, because that’s just how I do. But don’t worry, I’ll still do Solar Opposites/Mighty Solars stuff! Just this idea came in mind thanks to this artwork that got me intrigued! I decided to do something amazing based on one of my favorite shows, since it was created by the same people that created Solar Opposites! This show came out when I was still a kid, and I found out about it when I saw the Season 2 Premiere on YouTube back in 2015, which got me interested once I was old enough to watch it at the age of 16! And after seeing the loving but dysfunctional relationship between Rick and his grandson Morty, I decided to add Rick’s Papa Wolf-Syndrome in this one! Hope you Rick and Morty fans enjoy this!

On the planet, known as Galaxbeast-9, Rick and Morty were running for their lives by a group of monstrous aliens known as the Galaxbeasts. Thanks to Rick’s fucked bullshit of stealing a strange serum, the Galaxbeasts are now hot on the duo’s assses. Morty screams as the beasts attempt to grab him, but he luckily kicks one away from him as he catches up with his grandpa.

Morty: Great plan Rick!

Rick: Hey now, belches Morty! Those fucking Galaxbeasts deserve it, with their toxic messes up venom and intoxicating bullshit roaming around space!

Morty: Well not your plan is about to fuck us!

Rick: Oh shit!

The duo are then surrounded by the Galaxbeasts as their leader, BoDawn approaches them savagely.

BoDawn: monster gibberish (what he’s saying in the dialogue is “You two guys have fucked up our planet long enough! This time, your asses are about to whooped! Prepare for our deadly venomous saliva you bitches!”)

Rick: Dude, the fuck are you saying? You aliens are real dummies man!

Morty: screaming voice Rick! Look out, their right hand is about to goop us!

The monsters then grabbed Rick and Morty by the goop from the right tentacle hands as Morty screams. The monsters then take the duo a strange palace, where BoDawn looks at them menacingly. BoDawn then orders his fellow Galaxbeasts to take Morty to another room as Morty began to realize in horror what is happening.

Morty: Wait?! What the hell is going on now?! What’s happening?! Where are these assholes taking me? Turns to Rick as he began to panic even more Rick! Rick, do something! screaming out Help!

Rick: Morty! struggling to break free Where you snarling bastards taking him?!

BoDawn: monster gibberish (what he is really saying is: “To our testing chamber for a painful experiment on humans who dare fuck with the Galaxbeasts! This kid is gonna get fuck man!)

Rick: What?! What the fuck are you guys even saying?! Where you taking my grandson?! kicks a Galaxbeasts in the shin as he escapes and uses a portal gun to find Morty

Meanwhile, in the chamber, Morty is struggling to break free as the Galaxbeasts scientists prepare to inject a needle into him.

Morty: Let me go you motherfuckers! You’re crazy! What are you guys going to do to me?!

Galaxbeasts Scientist #1: monster gibberish (what he is really saying is: “Administrate the serum into that whiney bitch!”)

The needle is injected into Morty as he screams in pain.

Morty: Ugh! Son of a bitch! clings to his arms and holds it as he began to feel pain inside of his body

Galaxbeast Scientist #2: monster gibberish (what he is really saying is “What the fuck is wrong with that kid”)

Morty: screaming in pain as he then suddenly sees a group of octopus-like succulents on his hands Grrrrrrr! What the hell is happening to me?!

Morty then gets down on the floor as he kneels down and the floor as he started snarling and his eyes began to green just like the travel portal’s color! His body began to grow muscular and bigger as it started to tear his whole clothes into shreds! His left hand grows some sharp claws! His forehead grew three glowing monstrous eyes as Morty continues to scream as his voice begans to grow deeper! His skin became monstrous and scaley like a dinosaur’s skin! His hair falls apart as it grows forehead spikes on it! His stomach grows very strong biceps and abs! His right arm became a tentacle hand as it has purple goop on it! As Morty began to complete his transformation as tears burst from his eyes, his teeth became razer sharp and monstrous with fangs! What stood before the Galaxbeasts was no longer the 14-year old boy Morty who is always the trusty lackey of his grandfather Rick in portal travel, but now a giant Galaxbeast looking furiously and monstrously at the aliens who did this to him.

Monster Morty: ROAR!

Rick: rushed right in the chamber with the portal gun Morty! Hang on, I got the portal gun, we can get outta he-

Rick then stops talking and gasp in horror once he saw his beloved grandson now a giant monster, but to make matters worse, Morty is too hard to be recognized with his monstrous appearance. Any traits that Morty ever have is gone as Rick struggles to get a weapon, only to be stop by BoDawn.

BoDawn: finds a translation device and zaps himself with it Ah, much better. Now, what was I gonna say, oh yeah? Got ya now Sanchez! You are about to now join your grandson and-

Rick, not listening, kicks the leader in his face and later beats up some of the Galaxbeasts. Then, he pummels Morty with burning rage as he prepare to demand the beast, where is his own grandson is.

Rick: I’m gonna fucking kill you if you do anything to hurt- suddenly began to look closely at Morty’s eyes as a flashback of him holding baby Morty ensues and it ends as it shifts back to the present as Morty started snarling Holy shit….. Morty?!

Monster Morty: roars as he began to attack Rick

Rick: Oh my God! It is you! Morty! Calm down! Everything’s gonna be okay! Just stay calm and we’ll get you home safely! gets swat by Morty in the tentacle hand Morty!

Monster Morty: growls and roars as berserk tears burst out of five eyes

Rick: Morty, no! Stop! It’s me, your grandpa Rick! Morty then doesn’t move and continue to snarl at his grandpa It’s gonna be okay! Please, stay calm and-

Suddenly, the Smith family’s travel ship burst in and it opens as it shows Beth, Space Beth, Jerry and Summer running up to Rick in concern.

Beth: Dad, what’s happening?!

Space Beth: Rick, what the fuck is happening?!

Jerry: Holy shit, what the hell happen?!

Summer: Grandpa Rick, where’s Morty?!

Suddenly, the family sees Morty and screams by his monstrous appearance, but luckily, Beth got out a grapple hook and ties up Morty as he struggles to break free.

Beth: Oh my God, what the hell happen to my son?

Summer: Oh my God! Is that Morty?!

Jerry: What have they done to our son?!

Space Beth: We must get him back! Who knows what effects can happen?!

Rick: Don’t worry, I got this! Once we get back!

The Sanchez-Smith family heads back to their ship and flies it back home while Rick looks back in worry and concern at Morty, who is struggling to break free from the net as he roars. The family then made it back to Earth as Rick kept Morty in the garage three hours later that night as Beth, Space Beth, Jerry and Summer wait worriedly. Rick then does some data on Morty with his technology scanner as Morty began to tear the grapple hook apart.

Monster Morty: growling

Rick: Hey, hey, hey, hey! Morty, stop! No! You’re out of control!

Monster Morty: roars as he breaks free and was about to attack Rick until Rick puts his hands gently on Morty’s head despite it having three eyes on the forehead

Rick: softly Hey, hey. Morty. Morty. It’s okay. You’re safe now. I’m here with you. Those Galaxbeasts are not gonna get you anymore. We’re gonna get through this, we’ll figure out a way to cure you from this fucked up condition. It’s gonna be okay. Grandpa Rick is here.

As Rick continues to soothe Morty by the forehead, part of Morty’s personality resurfaces as he began to talk again, but with a deep monstrous voice.

Monster Morty: R-Rick? What’s going on? Oh my God, I-I- what have I done? I did this? What’s happening to me…. Rick…. what am I gonna do…. I am so scared…. breaks down crying as Rick continues to make sucking sounds softly

Rick: soothes Morty Hey now, it’s okay Morty. You’re safe. It’s gonna be okay. I’m here for you…

As Rick places his hand on Morty’s right tentacle hand, Morty continues to cry as Rick continues to soothe him. Morty suddenly thens turns back to normal but naked as Rick gasp and places a blanket on Morty to cover him up. Morty continues to cry as Rick comforts him.

Morty: Rick, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I-My mind went crazy and I-

Rick: softly Hey, it’s gonna be okay Morty. We’ll find a way to fix this and- suddenly sees a portal open with two Galaxbeasts appearing What the fuck?! How did you guys get a portal gun?

Morty: Oh no! Rick?! What do we do now?! Rick gets pummeled by two of the Galaxbeast RICK!

All Morty can now see is neon yellow-green visions in his eyes as he growls and turns back into his monster form and roars loudly that the whole neighborhood hide in fear. Morty then gets into a fight with two of the Galaxbeasts. Morty stops the first one by clawing him by the back. But then, the Galaxbeasts slash Morty by the back as he screams.

Rick: Morty!

Morty gets back up and grabs the Galaxbeast by the back with his tentacle right hand as he slams it to the ground. Morty then sees the second Galaxbeast prepare to wack him with a light pole, right after Morty grabs the pole and roars in fury by slamming the Galaxbeast as he roars. Morty breaths in and out as he calms down once he sees the two now dead Galaxbeasts and Rick comes up to him worriedly as Morty starts to weep.

Monster Morty: weeping Rick, I’m so scared… why is this happening to me?!

Rick: I don’t know Morty, but don’t worry. We’ll figure out a way to fix this. I’ll be here every step of the way.

Rick places his forehead softly on Morty. Then later that night, in the garage, Morty is seen ready for bed since he is now forced to be controlled before he gains control of his form. Morty then hears his parents and Rick talking behind the closed door, discussing how is this whole thing gonna be handled.

Beth: muffling Dad, this horrible. I can’t have a monster for a son. Poor Morty is just a kid.

Rick: muffling I know Beth, but right now, Morty needs me. He has to stay put before anyone finds out about this. He’ll be in danger.

Jerry: muffling But this is bullshit! Morty doesn’t deserve this. He’s just fourteen years old! Why would any aliens do this to a child?

Rick: muffling and sighs I don’t know Jerry, but if this is the only way to protect Morty, so be it. No one can see him like this.

As Morty continues to hears his loved ones discussing how they are gonna handle this, tears burst from his eyes as he weeps silently and turns back into his monster form as he cries silently. Rick comes into the room and sees his grandson crying. Rick wipes Morty’s away softly and then puts his lab coat on Morty as he smiles back to him without making a sound. As Rick began to work, he looks back to his transformed grandson Morty with a determination on his face.

Rick: Don’t worry Morty, this transformation may be a but difficult. But, we’ll help you gain control of it. I promise. Because, no one fucks with my grandson

Ozpin: Yes, yes, it's all very new, I'm sure. Now, this may be hard for you to believe, but you've probably noticed a lot more Faunus walking around.

Cornelius: Oh my god...

Ozpin: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, Mr. Arc, but segregation and the Faunus fight for equality is over and eon. Racism is no more. ...Well, except in certain locations, which you are free to visit if you'd like.

Cornelius: What?!
