The amount of posts/fanart/memes I've already seen surrounding Cooper and Hancock only proves to me that Hancock NEEDS to make a cameo in a later season. Somehow. I need them to get in a knife fight. I need them to get up in each other's faces and kiss intimidate each other.

Cooper's look was originally supposed to have black eyes and have scars identical to the Fallout 4 design, but the idea was ultimately scrapped. Boy oh boy, who else has black eyes and- HANCOCK. Hancock does. HE looks like that. This was clearly a sign from the universe.

#/hj but also /srs #could you imagine TWO hot iconic ghouls on-screen???#I just think it would be funny #Especially considering a few years ago they used images of Hancock in the articles about Walton playing a ghoul #and even Danny jokingly commented on it saying “THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!”#you could easily get away with a Hancock cameo as well because he has zero faction association. My biggest question after the last chapter is how / when did Fyodor find the time to derail the piping system to have considerable amounts of water go into an elevator

Hi! Yes, I played New Dawn in French and Roger has the same Québécois accent he has in English. It even seems he’s played by the same actor, Vincent Leclerc, whose name appears among the other French voice talents in the credits.

As for some of the (Canadian) French words he uses, such as “osti”, “tabarnak”, or “caulisse”, they’re typical slang/swear words from Québec that we don’t use in France, so they kept them in the French version and they sound as funny and exotic as they do in English.

It’s rare that Far Cry characters who speak with a non-American accent end up also having an accent in the French version of the game, but Roger thankfully kept his!

#it’s a good question because yeah sometimes they have to use another language #like in the film 'ghost dog: the way of the samurai' the character played by isaach de bankolé speaks french but no one understands him #they had to change that in the french version so he speaks an african language called yoruba instead #the actor is fluent in it because from what I’ve read it’s his parents’ native language #many french characters in disney movies have an italian accent in france #and the ‘'mi casa' is french for 'front door'’ joke in big hero 6 became ‘'mi casa' means 'door' in german’ in the french version #also I’ve recently realized they switched to english much earlier in the original intro scene of inglourious basterds #in the french version it’s only when landa is lighting his pipe that he suggests they continue the conversation in english #then in the film all english-speaking characters talk in french but french people also still speak french haha #far cry new dawn #roger cadoret #I watched a bit of spanish roger and while he does use canadian french words it didn’t sound like he had an accent to me #I may be wrong though #I also watched a bit of roger in the other languages and here’s what I found #german: french accent and words #italian: no french word or accent #japanese: no french accent and probably no words (I’m not sure)#russian: no accent (I think) but french words

i wanna make a list of all my favourite buster memories but i keep crying

#when he was a kitten and slept on my neck #glad that was never a habit he kept or else i'd probably be smothered by him #when he got his blanket and he just /knew/ it was his #all the times he played 'sous chef' in the kitchen #he was so greedy and a bloody gutso #he loved watching us cook #and all the times he'd 'read' the newspaper #newspapers were like one of his favourite things to sit on #all the times that he'd cuddle in my lap #it was special every time because he wasn't a super cuddly cat #like he'd only ever do it in the colder months and he refused to cuddle without a blanket #oh and when my ysk nitotan arrived and i showed it to him and he was like absolutely the fuck not #started biting poor ysk #and when he was desexed oh my poor kitty he kept wandering the house crying i felt so bad for him #the very first time he came home; he was so scared and he didn't like the car #and even though it hurt my feels the few times i'd come home from work and he'd miss me so much he'd rouse on me by hissing at me #these are all out of chronological order hhh #also his cat tree has a half pipe but the only time he'd sit in it was if he heard treats #because we were keeping his box of treats on top of it and he'd jump into the half pipe yowling for his treat
