Prompt 131
Okay, so first of all Dan would like to say it’s not his fault. Ellie was the one to bring some unknown object into the speeder and Jazz was the one driving. Or had Sam been driving- didn’t matter! It wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t the one shooting at them, he wasn’t the one to break whatever, he was not the one to open a stupid portal, and so it wasn’t his fault!
So why is he now like, five years old, and why is the speeder crashed in some sort of corn field. Why is everyone- except for Jazz whose now like six- also like three at most?! And- oh fuck the door just opened and… okay that’s a kid. Like, nine at most.
A kid and an adult, who he hadn’t noticed at first so again, it’s not his fault if he hissed at them and tried to hide his not-siblings behind him. It’s also not fair they’re apparently stuck to ghost speak for who knows how long, but at least they can understand the people.
“Martha, get some blankets, it’s happened again!”

People who say Connor/ Ratonhnaké:ton is the most serious assassin or that he has a really flat personality are flat out lying. Literally in the gameplay when you call on the assassin recruits and they are injured if you press B as if to loot them HE REACHES DOWN and asks them if they are alright WHILE HOLDING THEIR HAND. I keep thinking about it, it's the sweetest thing I've seen in these games. HE IS ACTUALLY WORRIED ABOUT HIS RECRUITS, (his friends). I mean the whole Homestead thing proves it and all but outside of that. Idk it's just stuck to me, like he really actually cares.SOMEBODY put that in the game, somebody thought of it, others agreed and they added that. Let's not forget he also has his hood off when he enters the Homestead, he finally feels safe. Like, he lost his tribe, his people and then they created A WHOLE ASS FLAG for themselves, they defend each other and stuff. And like, he created that, he made his own family and got involved with everyone in their own way. I just idk, idk man....he...he cares.....

Everytime Batman and Red Hood see each other they end up shouting across the streets of Gotham emotional shit like JUST COME HOME SON and YOU'RE NOT IN CHARGE OF ME ANYMORE OLD MAN and it's just Not Subtle in the slightest
No one knows that Jason is an ex Robin so everyone comes to the very logical conclusion that the Red Hood is Batman's rebellious blood son that ran away from home to pursue a life of crime and they're not even fucking wrong

something about the idea of gojo dying hurts more than like…any other character death / potential character death i’ve ever encountered because there’s always so much hope centered around him. like everyone’s always just been assured that he’s the strongest that youre just like. well. this was supposed to be the one that definitely made it out :,)

You know, whenever I see the discussions around Jack Marston possibly getting drafted in world war one, I can't help but physically ache at the thought of it.
Jack Marston, born into a gang that honoured freedom above everything, forced to sacrifice everything he has left for war.
Jack Marston, a boy who read about knights and soldiers, now forced to become one in another fight he never asked for.
Jack Marston, raised to be away from a life of violence, but now the world has found a way to drag him back in.
No matter what happens, Jack would have to face a really tragic dilemma. Does he go to war and sacrifice the legacy of freedom he was raised with? The life his family died for? Or refuse and be labeled a criminal, putting his parents to shame and repeating the same cycle his father went through?
It just tragically mirrors the struggle he’s always had - trying to find his own identity outside the legacy of John Marston, and the violence that came with it. But he's being pulled back in, no matter what he chooses.
He was never made for the violence that shaped his parents' life.

Thinking about a Cora lives AU where Law just. Doesn't get sick after Amber Lead Disease. He takes good care of himself and generally his immune system is pretty solid (and he avoids his crew members if they have smth contagious like the flu or a stomach bug). But eventually his good luck runs out and he catches a cold, just a minor one that makes him a little feverish and gives him the standard cough and runny nose. Bepo notices him swaying on his feet and immediately sends him to bed (even tho Law protests like a stubborn brat).
When Cora finds out Law is sick he flips his SHIT. Literally he falls flat on his ass and catches himself on fire. Then he rushes all around the Polar Tang grabbing medical books on how to treat colds and preparing a compress and shouting at the cook to make hot soup for Law and digging into the cabinets for medicine and then he's hauling ASS to Law's room
Law wakes up from a nap and looks over to see Cora sitting at his bedside looking at him like this
And he has to reassure him no Cora-san I'm not dying, it's just a cold, yes Cora-san I'm going to be okay. You worry too much
(But Cora's paranoid bc he's only seen Law sick once before and that was when he was dying, literally days away from succumbing to the poison eating at him, so of course there's trauma there, of course he sees Law cough one time and thinks the world is ending 😭)

Fanfic prompt : you know how the windwaker timeline in some cases is considered lost and on the brink of collapse
But like it really is not that bad
In fact it is the only timeline that canonically had an Industrial Revolution and a sort of stability that no other timeline has
Because it literally doesn’t have another conflict after spirit tracks
Like Wind didn’t just save the entire world from extinction by finding land
he permanently defeated Ganondorf
Caused a major change and a stability no other timeline has
Like the other timelines are all not developing at all and if they do develop then at a crawling pace
And they quickly lose the progress as well every few years because of ganondorf looming at their doorsteps
Like breathe of the wild and totk lost the knowledge of the zonais and also the knowledge of the Divine beasts
Like wind deserves to feel extremely proud of his accomplishments
The chain getting spit out in spirit tracks and then Wind seeing what he will one day create
And being capable of seeing the development of the land he created must be beautiful
But even funnier would be if he saw his future self looking back at him as a ghost
Who then starts following the chain for fun and also kind of parenting baby wind
And reassuring him that everything will end up alright
