Its very possible to make sampo's character out to be more of a robin hood, morally good guy like. Chaotic good alignment. Cuz i mean he plays w the kids n gets natasha medicine and even helps you without much incentive. And so i Guess he could be more of a genuinely good person who operates outside of the law

But frankly. I like him a bit morally reprehensible too. I mean i dont think he has good morals. I like him better if he has the capacity n the drive to be both selfish and manipulative, but also can help others. I just think theres more fun when theres a sense of duality like yes he'll play with the moles in the underground and lead the silvermanes to arrest a bunch of thieves but he also isnt afraid to kill and take and steal and bend people to get what he wants. I like him as two extremes yknow

Thinking exercise: If wei wuxian is neutral good to person A and chaotic good to person B (both valid interpretations) and both A & B believe wei wuxian is the Moral Ideal, where does wei wuxian fall on the chart? I think it tells us more about A & B's moral leanings than about wei wuxian the character btw.

How people are interpreting Alastor's final verse on Twitter: OMG, he's terrified that he's going soft! He's questioning his loyalties! The deal he's talking about is the one he made with Charlie, and he wants to break that because he doesn't wanna get attached to her! He's secretly becoming a better person! OMG!

Meanwhile, the way I interpret it: The deal he's talking about is the one Husk mentioned in episode 5, being on "a leash". Someone is restraining him, possibly has his soul, and he HATES being reminded of it. He wants freedom, because he DESPISES being bound to someone else, is looking for a way to out, and the second he does, he'll be "pulling the strings" again. He's either only helping the hotel because of this deal, OR it's limiting his power somehow, and that's why him almost dying made him "hungry for freedom" more than ever. He's not going soft, he's still got his own agenda.
