in short, leehan is an incredibly "patient, dependable, and secure" lover.

with his libra sun, i'd say he's a "starry-eyed" romantic; one of those people with that sparkly gaze of admiration when they have a crush on someone. he would definitely observe you from afar for a while and maybe even pine a bit, picking up on all the things you are interested in, your style, and just who you are as a person.

from there, i see a lot of courtship before asking you out. because his moon is in capricorn, he's not the type to fall quickly or rush into things. he is willing to put in the effort if he genuinely wants to build a solid relationship with his partner and he's not a fan of flings and fleeting emotions. he can be pretty nitpicky when it comes to relationships, so he tries to act wisely and thoughtfully.

literally my boyfriend is my painkiller.

Whenever I'm with him my pain goes down so much I can ignore it. Yea sometimes there's days where nothing helps the pain but at least he's there to take care of me. Most times tho his presence has a drastic effect on my pain levels. Maybe it's cause when he's around I feel less stressed and more safe and secure? Or maybe it's cause he's basically a human-shaped heating pad

I know this isn’t a particularly common characterization of them (at least not what I’ve seen) but I personally think of the two;

Shanks rarely gets restless, he’s the one more content to just bask in a moment, it may not be in silence but he’s comfortable just doing nothing with his crew. As long as there’s alcohol, a hammock and the people he loves, Shanks is straight.

Contrary to that Mihawk is always itching to do something, entertain himself in some way. If he’s not dueling/training, he’s gardening if it’s not that then he’s cooking or he’s reading and if nothing else will do then he naps. but he’s always trying to occupy his time with something.

I think a lot of people don’t notice it because it’s not the jittery hyperactivity that people associate with it. But Mihawk is restless, endlessly so. He’s in a never ending fight with his boredom but it’s all internal.(except when he decides to make it someone else’s problem ala Don Krieg)

Mihawk’s the type of dude to implode instead of explode so it makes sense that things like restlessness don’t really show themselves in an outwardly physical way. Instead it’s more of an internal pressure and incessant need to stave off boredom. But because of his preference for being alone and the fact that the activities he chooses aren’t ones usually associated with restlessness. It goes unnoticed.

Except by Shanks who’s always going out of his way to make the life of a pretty little birdie a litte more interesting.

You know how ppl say there is a 'calm before the storm'.

Recently heard my sibling refer to me as the calm before the storm and the only thing I could think of since then is that's a great way to characterize relationships.

Like codywan. Cody is the calm Commander you see in the midst of an chaotic battle. He knows what he does, he has done this thousands of times before. He is calm, his presence a anchor, the shielding rock for all his brothers. But he is also the calm before the storm. And obi wan is the storm. Because shortly after cody appears, there will be obi wan. And he will wreak chaos. He's a whirlwind of movements and lightsaber flashings. The storm that comes after the calm.

Just. Droids fighting for their lives just like their opponent clones and then they see that one clone appearing. You know, the calm one. The one who doesn't seem to be fighting for his life, but for all the others. The one who becomes the calm middle of all the fighting, the controlled leader. And they're like 'oh no' 'not that one', because they know if they can see that specific clone, the crazy redhead jedi is not far away. Because the commander is the calm eye in the middle of the chaotic storm of a battlefield. Of the jedi.

Just. Anakin doing something stupid and facing the commander afterwards. Who is so full of his shit, but still calmly speaks to him, reprimands him, until he actually feels sorry for whatever mayham ha just wrecked. The commander he knows everyone respects, he knows centers all clones of the 212th and most of the 501st. And then the calm is over when cody goes. And obi wan comes. And brings a storm of emotions upon him, making him feel like a padawan all over again. Before he gets lost in the storm obi wan always seems to carry with him. Not that he himself is any better.

When I started watching Dungeon Meshi, it didn't really grab me at first. I'm not really fond of it when stories directly reference video game mechanics, so I wasn't really sure. Then Senshi was introduced and I was instantly on board.

Random childe brainrot: Form stuck foul legacy.

(Im ignoring canon lore here of him rarely transforming into FL and how FL takes away from his strength, just imagine he sometimes randomly transforms) He wakes up one day realizing he somehow transformed into FL in his sleep, and he has a lot of chores o do today so he tries to de-transform.

..he’s stuck as moth.

and when he is stuck as moth: he is either extremely battle hungry, or incredibly affection starved and clingy.

when he first wakes up, he's overcome with a need to fight- he needs to kill something, have blood on his claws, as it's what the Abyss wants and craves- until you walk into the room, and his demeanor softens. he becomes less battle hungry and more curious, lowering himself to the bed in order to seem smaller and letting out a quiet chirp. his heart feels odd- for once it's not restless, instead humming peacefully, smooth and steady as ripples on a shoreline, and when he slowly approaches you this serenity only increases. when you pet his head, there's a peculiar buzzing from his throat, and Childe realizes that his Foul Legacy form is purring

it becomes clear that you are the reason for his newfound peace- his love for you seems to override his Abyssal instinct to kill and maim and corrupt, instead leaving a gentle and sweet mothish creature that prefers to spend most of his time curled around you. he becomes agitated if you're gone for too long, scratching his claws on the floor and hissing in distress, and is far more wary around people who aren't you, like Zhongli who popped in for a visit. for some reason, being stuck in Foul Legacy also makes Childe about 20 times more touch starved, constantly wanting to have contact with you in some way and whining if he doesn't. it's a little awkward at first given his size, but eventually you settle on letting him wrap his claws around one of your wrists so he can tug your hand up to his face if he wants to <3

also he gives the best hugs ever in this form, take advantage of that

I'm so grateful that the only GG fans that care about the light novels are the ones that can be normal about things because Lightning the Argent goes from the rawest scenes of carnage imaginable to Ky Kiske doing something mildly religious like offering a short, silent, prayer for someone that got mangled to death by WMD dragons, and I just know that, in the wrong hands, those brief religious moments would generate the most annoying goddamn memes you could ever imagine
