Both speech are beautiful and has the power of there own but the highlight on this two parallel is how Alex expressed his feelings for Henry to everyone 😭 and being brave to come out and fight for them and to their sexuality 🤧 this speeches needs an award

Let me explain to you exactly why he isn't.

His bitterness about love stems from the lack of it. He never ever includes love, romance, friendship, or anything along those lines in his monologue as things he resents the existence of. He resents being denied them. He never mentions romance as something he isn't interested in/dislikes, which in turn tells us it's something he'd want were he given the chance to have it. He expresses resentment over being labeled as broken by authority figures and being shunned by his peers. He expresses resentment over his mother despising him and wanting to lock him away in HNL, which indicates a severe lack of love/care on her end. He doesn't mention romance in specific because he was kidnapped when he was twelve, but the language he uses is very similar to language used surrounding conversion therapy, which indicates that the desire for that kind of love was something that was part of him. He resents not having or not being allowed to have all those kinds of love, which indicates that he wanted them.

His little list of hates (wake up, eat, work, sleep, reproduce, and die) are hates not because he simply dislikes them on their own, but because his agency regarding those topics was stripped away. He doesn't have a choice about any of those things, and he resents them because of it. He hates his lack of agency/freedom. Is he sex repulsed? Likely yes! However, sex repulsed=/=asexual. Asexuality is about a lack of attraction to others, not about a lack of desire for the act itself. Henry, being so heavily paralleled to Will while having baggage from 20 years worth of near-constant physical, mental, emotional, and likely sexual abuse, would most accurately be characterized as gay and sex repulsed. To claim that sex repulsion from abuse/trauma=asexuality is to further stereotypes regarding the nature of asexuality. Don't be that guy.

Henry never actually says he wants to do away with community. He resents not having a supportive community. His original aim was to do away with the lying, hypocrisy, and arbitrary rules being imposed upon him as a function of society's current structure. It's clear (given his bitterness surrounding society) that he wanted connection, but he was denied it to the point that he internalized that lack and characterized himself as a solitary being. He's deeply lonely and dislikes being held back by rules/being made to choose between honesty and community. It's the structure he dislikes and (once again) the not-having he resents.

One half of his whole schtick is about wanting love/connection/community/freedom but being denied it based on arbitrary rules; The other half is him wanting his agency back and resenting all the ways in which it was taken away from him over the past +20 years.
