This could be completely off but given what we know:
1) Powerful life and death magic (deep magic? dark magic? both?) demand sacrifice, typically in the form of blood
2) Kpp'Ar called his arm wounds "an ancient and disturbing practice" which fits with Aaravos' sole distinction that the 'blood of child' spell is "one of the old spells"
3) In the time leading to his decision to give up magic, Kpp'Ar captured a giant likely in hopes the giant could read a map that would lead to unicorns in what we now know (7x01) is called the Garden of Innocence.
4) There is also something at the Garden that is required for successfully making a Moon primal stone, which is directly related to Aaravos' desire to invert life and death somehow
So Kpp'Ar doing what he could to try and save Soren would match up and reveal an interesting thread of his character, especially in terms of stopping Viren from (literally) doing the same. Not only would these threads convene to help explain how maybe Callum would do dark magic (Aaravos offering up a corrupted Moon primal stone for his usage to save Rayla, or something, as Aaravos needs the corrupted stone to corrupt/invert the Nexus) or deep magic again, but it would likewise give context for how and why.
#tdp theory#tdp spoilers#s7 spoilers#kpp'ar#rayllum#the dragon prince#tdp#predictions#high mage club#s7 speculation#yeah im feeling good about the corrupted moon primal stone#bc it'd answer how & why while also not being time consuming#and we don't have Time in a panicked/desperate/spur of the moment decision#aaravos making the stone and then wanting the key for his book maybe#and using the sun staff (primal stone) to corrupt lux aurea so. same thing here? just with moon?

Zychiel (They/He/any), a rogue Oscuraph of the Ecliptic world.
Personal Website | Discord Server | Ecliptic Lore
Oscuraph: Zychiel
Name: Zychiel or Zycheir Species: Angel → OscuraphElement: Water
Gender: EgogenderPronouns: They/He/any (he/they in disguise)Height: ~8'6" / 2.6m main, ~14' / 4.3 m alt
Alignment: RogueDates: formed ~4000 BCE, transitioned 798 BCE Location: physical plane and external dimensions
Personality
Zychiel is an extremely individualistic Oscuraph, living only by Their own principles. To Them, authority and rights are asserted by power; there is no sin in amassing strength through the consumption of souls. While They will generally leave pure souls and minimally corrupt souls be, even minor corruption makes Them look upon those souls as nothing more than sustenance. They enjoy the act of consuming souls, finding delight and pleasure in the sensation of consuming them.
Zychiel enjoys the experience of forming deep but often temporary bonds. They will often disguise Themself as human and live like one, seeing if They can naturally form a bond with any particular individual. That relationship may be platonic, familial, romantic, physical, or any other sort; They will respond in ways that artfully deepen the relationship only as far and in the way the other would like to go. Zychiel, however, does not experience love and affection as humans do. To Them, such deep relationships are a form of mental pleasure—something that "feels nice." While Zychiel will never be the one to walk away from a relationship with a mortal, when the human dies or the relationship is ended by them, Zychiel feels no emotional pain. They simply file the experience into one of many pleasant memories. Zychiel's favored way of ending relationships, however, is for the mortal to willingly give their soul to Them. Since Zychiel will often reveal Their nature to Their partner, this does happen a fair amount of the time.
As Zychiel is identified as a rogue Entity by the Ordained, They sometimes run into trouble. They are powerful enough to put up a fight, but if Their location is revealed to the Ordained, They will often flee the Ecliptic universe and wander other dimensions. While in external dimensions, Zycheir may continue to form relationships, but They also make efforts to "sample" the souls of various other dimensions to experience the taste.
Abilities
Oscuraph Abilities
Zychiel has all the abilities Oscuraphim have, including shapeshifting, soul magic, primal magic, and sourcing Their power from both the collective power of Angels and through consuming souls like Demons.
Element: Water
Zychiel's element is water. They can create and manipulate water in all its forms, including ocean water, rain, water vapor, and liquids with high water content, including blood. They can also purify water.
History
Zychiel formed as an Angel around 4000 BCE. They were soon discovered and brought to Lux, where They were invited to enter the resonance of Angels. While They accepted, They did not develop any particular preferences right away—They simply followed Their instinct to enter the physical plane and help souls ascend.
It was in the physical plane that They met Demons for the first time, and that sparked the first taste of interest in Them. Instead of entering conflict with Demons, They observed them. They watched as Demons consumed souls of the corrupt, and Zychiel found Themself wishing that They could do the same. However, at that time, no one knew that Entities could cross the borders of Light and Darkness, so Zychiel simply continued as before.
This bland existence continued for thousands of years until Sekriel became an Oscuraph in 801 BCE. Zychiel was fascinated, and approached Sekriel to learn more about them and the new nature of their existence. The two shared stories of their experiences with Demons and Zychiel probed at how Sekriel had accepted the Darkness. It was not a simple matter of visiting the Plane of Darkness and trying to absorb that primal energy—They needed to accept the Darkness at a fundamental level. Three years later, in 798 BCE, They were able to achieve their transformation into an Oscuraph.
Zychiel soon became aware of a strange new sensationa hunger for souls. They used their new ability to detect corruption to seek out the corrupt, tearing out their souls to have a taste. Zychiel enjoyed it—perhaps too much. They began to target souls with milder levels of corruption and snatching souls that were already being hunted by other Demons. Zychiel's actions contributed to the growing wariness both Angels and Demons had of the Ecliptic, and in 790 BCE, they were cast out from the Plane of Light, just as Sekriel and many other Ecliptic were.
Later, Sekriel found Zychiel and invited them to the newly-discovered Plane of Twilight—though they also asked for Zychiel to avoid causing trouble while they tried to figure out what to do. Zychiel gave a noncommittal agreement, and decided to disguise Themself in society to entertain themself another way. Like this, They started Their "hobby" of forming incredibly intimate relationships with mortals, which sometimes ended with the mortal willingly giving their soul to Them. When Sekriel and other Ordained Ecliptic discovered this, they branded Zychiel as rogue and attempted to stop Them. Zychiel fled, managing to escape to another dimension. Their explorations across different universes are stories in and of themselves, but in time, Zychiel returned to Their original universe, hiding amongst society for their own pleasure and entertainment. Whenever They are about to be caught, they flee to other dimensions for a time.

Something that bothers me in the arcane fandom is there treatment of in game skins and skin lines.
Like I am all for shipping different skin lines together or adding characters to skin lines they don't exist in yet, or even shipping different characters within the skin line, but omg can people please learn the lore or at least read the character bios before hand.
Because most of the skin lines are alternative universes and while the characters personalities are mostly the same they are completely different characters and more often than not act nothing like the arcane counterparts.
I mostly see it with jinx since she's the one who's content I interacted with the most. So many fans will write her so heinously out of character when depicting her different skins because there assuming she's just like her arcane self. Here are a few examples (just the popular ones though and a very brief summary).
Star guardian jinx is a semi troubled high school student who literally only wants to keep her friends safe and causes chaos by semi- bullying her friends and blowing up void creatures.
Odyssey jinx is a hopeless romantic crushing on kayn (lmao) who's besties with malphite and is a chaos gremlin. But she's also extremely friendly with absolutely everyone in the Odyssey cast.
And then you have the less popular ones like cafe cuties, battle cat and chromacrash, where she's just kind of vibing, (we don't know tones about those ones).
People tend to make jinx well more insane or violent for the sake of angst when talking about the skin lines when that very must isnt the case. Or will just assume she hates centern characters but if you read through the short stories or the wiki you will she that it's very much untrue. I've seen this a lot with characters like ezreal, when it's shown in valoran town and star guardians that they would absolutely be friends.
Crime city jinx is one I can kinda excuse because at least she kills people and we know basically nothing about her other than the fact she's a hit woman.
The skin closest to arcane jinx would be project jinx. After becoming a project a power failure during an experiment corrupted her core causing memory loss which made her extremely violent and unpredictable, she hears a woman's voice in her head and listens to it causing chaos, this is the program lissandra making her do her bidding. So I absolutely understand people portraying these to as similar. (I haven't seen much tho since project jinx is unpopular, I love her so much.)
I see this a lot with shipping. People wanting there faves to be together in every skin line, which is fine except for the fact they know nothing about the characters or the world and completely butcher the characters. This happens quite a bit with star guardian jinx and ekko, where people will make jinx hate absolutely everyone but ekko or will make them both extremely mean to lux simply because they don't like the her being shipped with jinx. Lux is still jinxes best friend in the SG universe regardless if you ship them or not.
Or people will see the skins and will simply deny that it's the character to begin with or just do it to hate on the game(which the OG game does suck, but don't harass people for liking skins) . I saw a comment under a Odyssey jinx post saying "ew thats not jinx at all" like I get it they look completely different but it's still the same character, just in a different universe and when people tried to correct them they just doubled down.
I'll see people hate on the skin lines because it doesn't aline with there view of the characters (and tbf the views on characters are usually strange anyway.) but there not ment to, there meant to be different interpretations of the characters with different lives, experiences and abilities. Just like the world ekko got sent to. Power and jinx are still the same character but are completely different people because of there experiences and I think it's funny and this is the only au people want to see as Canon is because it has timebomb canon, but if people want to bring up ekko canonically dating other people in pulsefire and star guardian people will act like it's not canon because it doesn't have the relationship they want.
I'm not saying people have to interact with ships or aus they dont like all I'm saying is that you can't deny canonicity of one au only to claim another as Canon. All I want in this fandom is for people to at least do research before depicting characters they know nothing about and claiming they do, because they end up erasing everything that makes the characters interesting in favor of relationships.
And I all honestly I think apart from cait and vi I don't think and of the arcane cast are dating anyone in more than two universe each so shipping is fine.
And before anyone accuses me if being a league fan who hates arcane fans. Arcane got me into league and I only play wild rift, I just became hyper fixated on the skin lines because I love alternative universes.
Sorry for the rant just some thoughts.

Sorry but I need to revisit the growth cycle of Wormvaros/Sir Sparklepuff
I know literally no one likes to think about this because it occupies that deeply weird niche where "visceral body horror" and "uncomfortable awareness that someone out there has this fetish" overlap but bear with me.
Back in the post-s3 days, I concluded that Wormvaros grows due to crossing into Xadia where magic is plentiful, basically absorbing magic and funneling it to Aaravos, which is why Aaravos has Viren go after powerful magic sources in the Sunforge and Zym. Then I just kind of never thought about it again.
But that's wasn't even accurate then: Wormvaros starts growing at a very specific point, and that point is somewhere between when Aaravos and Viren discuss visiting Lux Aurea and when the Sunforge is corrupted. Before that, it doesn't grow at all.
When Aaravos is pitching the plan to Trojan Horse into Lux Aurea, Wormvaros is his regular 2-inch or so Hot Topic earcuff size:
Then when it emerges at the Sunforge, it's suddenly like... a solid 2 feet long? I'll spare all of us the disgorgement shot, here it is crawling up Viren's arm for scale:
Now, the timeline of events in this series is... fuzzy, at best, but I don't think it's incorrect to interpret that the entire Lux Aurea business takes place in a single day. At the least, I think the Sunforge corruption and Viren walking back to the camp are the same day. By that point, Wormvaros has already grown into a jaunty scarf. By sometime mid-next day, it has attained its full drag show fabulous feather boa status.
Wormvaros grows exponentially within the 18-24 hours between the Sunforge and the final battle, presumably feeding/having fed on the massive source of corrupted magic that was formerly the Sun nexus. Except that's not quite right, either: Wormvaros has already had its first growth spurt before the Sunforge is corrupted.
Also just to quickly go over this scene in light of s5... Wormvaros bites Pharos, and the corruption then goes from Pharos to the Sun primal stone in the staff, and from there to the Sunforge itself. The artbook, of all places, notes that Pharos (there just "Sunfire High Priest") has a "direct connection to the Sun primal [that] helps him channel the incalculable power of the Sunforge."
The "direct connection to the Sun primal" bit is I think a bit misleading, since that should describe... every Sun primal mage, at minimum. Channeling the power of the Sunforge, however, explains the transmission of the corruption. It's not an accident of proximity that makes Wormvaros go for Pharos, it's that there has to be a transmission vector from Wormvaros to the Sunforge, and it's Pharos's arcanum during this ritual where the Sunforge's power is brought to bear.
But anyway, back to Wormvaros's growth. Viren is also exposed to the power of the Sunforge when he's tested in the throne room, though on a smaller scale. I bet that's when Wormvaros starts to feed.
I still think the magic has to be corrupted to be of use to Aaravos's specific purpose, here: neither the Sunforge nor the staff are diminished, so the power is either being replenished as fast as it's consumed or the corruption was itself the act of consumption. I feel like you could even say that the corruption of Sunforge power also happens in the throne room test ritual, in that whatever power from the Sunforge reaches Wormvaros where it's hiding inside Viren, it could easily have been filtered through and affected by Viren's own corruption.
On the one hand, all of this means that by whatever method Wormvaros... got inside Viren to Trojan Horse into Lux Aurea, it was still comfortably small at the time. On the other hand, it also means Wormvaros grew to like 10x its former size in the space of a few hours, while inside. Which... hhhnnnnnrrggh.
No, don't leave yet. I promise I have an additional point that's not just making everyone exquisitely uncomfortable about mpreg.
Wormvaros goes from a static, growthless state to a period of rapid maturing when exposed to the Sunforge. The Sun primal. The sun. After some time it returns to a similar hibernating state in the chrysalis. And then:
Hmmm.
#i'm actually not actively trying to feed the 'aaravos is a star devourer dragon' theory here but#if it fits i sits#i think there's some big gaps in connecting that with the other stuff we've been told about startouch elves and aaravos#that would need canon to fill them in but that's definitely possible#the dragon prince#aaravos#kradogsmeta

The Fallen Pantheon, Light Song's Rule!
Description
The Fallen Pantheon was formed 48,000 years ago by Solis Cantus, aka Light Song, after her exile from the Celestial Pantheon due to her bloodlust and thirst for power.
During Light Song's lifetime, the Fallen Pantheon was strict, cruel, and uncaring, made up of spirits that joined her in order to solidify the treaty between her and their home kingdoms, or Royals who joined after Light Song destroyed their kingdom with their help (unknowing or fully willingly). Light Song's goal was to take over the entirety of Salha, and rule with an iron fist. If kingdoms refused to join an alliance with her, she destroyed them.
The Pantheon members themselves were strong, cunning, smart, sneaky, or helpful in some other way. If Light Song didn't have a use for them, they were either killed or, if they'd be useful outside of the Pantheon, stripped of their Deity status so someone actually useful could take their place.
Home Base
The majority of the Fallen Pantheon lives within the Bright Palace in Lux Aura. When it was first built back in the era shortly after the Original Pantheon, it was considered a beacon of hope and light going into the future, and was made on a platou overlooking the Capital City of the kingdom. It's been well-maintained, renovated, and rebuilt overtime to keep it in high quality, and any additions or rebuilds have been made with the same glowing moonstone-quartz the original bricks were made of, and the quarry is still operational. When Light Song made the Fallen Pantheon, she took over the Bright Palace, leaving the Royals of Lux Aura to remake a new castle to live in.
Members
(Descriptions & ages listed as of 30 years before Light Song's death, before Vizerxa took over the Pantheon from within)
The Fallen Pantheon is loosely divided into two parts, similar to the Celestial Pantheon's Major and Minor pantheons.
The ones closest to Light Song, or the ones considered highly powerful but unlikely to betray her, are called the Elites.
The other members are most frequently called Zelerins (Godly Zypherins/generals), since they generally had positions of power outside of being Gods.
Spirits who followed and were close to Light Song, awaiting the chance to become Deities under her, were called Souls. They are somewhere between Followers and Deities, aka Demigods. They usually command smaller parts of Light Song's armies, were used as messengers, or plain soldiers. Souls usually do not live in the Bright Palace permanently like the Pantheon, but do visit often and for long periods of time between missions.
Elites
Light Song / Solis Cantus
48,129 years old, physically 45.
Goddess of Light and Corruption.
The founder and leader. During life, she was a Queen of Lux Aura. She was killed, executed by the Royal Court, after attempting to poison her brother and the influential members of the Court. The Celestial Pantheon of her time was unaware of this, and accepted her into their ranks as the Goddess of Light and Power. After making her bloodlust known, she was exiled, and soon formed her own Pantheon.
Star Seer / Tenebris Deorum
197,654 years old, physically 50.
God of Prophecy and the Mindscape.
The main advisor due to his knowledge & wisdom from age, and his prophetic foresight. When he realized Light Song had the longest 'remaining life' of any Celestial God, he left the Celestials to follow her, and hopefully guide her down a better path. He joined out of the loneliness from outliving everyone he's known, and his tendency to cling to anyone with a long lifespan.
Vizerxa Mortem
567 years old, physically 35.
God of Observation and Strategy.
Light Song's advisor in wartime, and the one who officially brought down Regnum Deos in the Deorum War with her strategies. An unwilling addition who was brought in after being tricked by Light Song & her kingdom destroyed, but she's sworn loyalty and seems to stick true to it through Light Song's cruelty to others.
Amatus Maren
15,024 years old, physically 37.
God of Storms and Loyalty.
One of the few who joined Light Song willingly. Originally was part of the Celestial Pantheon, but left on his own due to having similar bloodlust and need for chaos as Light Song did, despite the heavy toll betraying his Pantheon put on his physical state. Is incredibly loyal to Light Song, and has bound every Fallen Deity and Soul to Light Song, so betraying or hurting her will physically harm them as well.
Aella Maren
15,002 years old, physically 24.
Goddess of Oceans and Exploration(travel/freedom).
Originally lived a nomadic pirate life on the ocean, but made a fatal mistake and attacked a ship that Light Song was on. Light Song killed Aella's beloved crew, and made her join the Pantheon. Aella stays loyal despite not being allowed to even see the ocean anymore due to the threat of Light Song possibly hunting down and killing her final Crew a second time, or killing her descendants.
Videns Mortem
586 years old, physically 19.
Goddess of Chaos and the Mindscape.
Despite being highly unpredictable and uncontrollable (without her powers cancelled), Videns is considered an Elite due to her highly useful powers and skills. When Light Song needs her to do something she possibly wouldn't do otherwise (such as Oleander assassinations), Light Song would mind control her. it has a weaker effect on Videns due to being a Mindscape god, but it still works.
Zelerins
Blood Moon / Xealryu Ruinam
5,463 years old, physically 37.
God of War and Strength.
Another willing member of the Fallen Pantheon, though originally joined due to a treaty between their home Kingdom and Light Song. Realized that the chaos and pain that Light Song brought was quite fun, and swore eternal loyalty. Is a Zypherin in Light Song's armies.
Mendacium Deorum
700 years old, physically 34.
God of Lies and Fire.
Originally joined as a spy for Regnum Deos during the Deorum War, but stays due to threats towards themself and their older sister. Incredibly strong and a useful Zypherin, but the inability to truly trust them leaves them unable to become an Elite, not that they even care about climbing the ranks of the Fallen.
Lucas Aurelius
478 years old, physically 28.
God of Plagues and Science.
A human-draconic hybrid who joined Light Song after hearing about the creation of Deathclaw Acid, and Light Song took him in after finding out about his general love and knowledge of science. Successfully managed to control and vaccinate several plague outbreaks in-between helping Light Song with experiments.
Snow Sky / Siviru Cantus
45,409 years old, physically 35.
God of Winter and Knowledge.
Joined out of guilt and the need to be loyal to her family, despite there being thousands of years between Light Song and Snow Sky. Is incredibly smart and resourceful due to her Domain, but doesn't often show it outside of helping devise strategies and supply runs. Acts as a guard alongside Path Changer.
Path Changer / Quazazel Utinam
734 years old, physically 25.
God of Order and Betrayal.
Was one of the Draconics manipulated by Light Song to break down their kingdoms. Given the title of God of Betrayal as a scathing remark towards how eager she was to gain more power. Usually acts as a guard for important personnel.
Genesis Ventus
562 years old, physically 19.
Goddess of Hopelessness, Pain, and Vengeance.
The main subject of the experiments that Light Song used to create Deathclaw Acid, but stays around due to not really knowing any other life or place. At one point left for two centuries after killing a large amount of Fallen, Celestial, Abyssmal, and Valaraen Gods, and her true unpredictableness makes it impossible for her to be an Elite despite her useful powers.
Zenaer Voru
18,103 years old, physically 24.
God of Art and Promises.
Started out as a Soul who followed Light Song due to wanting power for revenge. Light Song originally wasn't going to actually recruit him, but they managed to sneak in and rearrange everything in Light Song's study, and likely died of a plague due to no forms of poison, fatal injury, or drowning killed them.
Silas Xeqeri
345 years old, physically 45.
God of Life and Harvest
Joined Light Song to be a farmer/gardener for the Pantheon, and was more or less threatened by Light Song to do so. Was given an official Domain recently due to his affinity for plant-based magic and unusual luck with keeping healthy & abundant gardens. Not considered a highly ranked God, but still is a God nonetheless.
Souls
Fallere Mundi
128 years old, physically 20.
Follows Light Song out of curiosity and to keep her descendants safe, since if you're a loyal ally of Light Song, she likely will not harm your family badly if they happen to be in her way.
Amelia Aurelius
489 years old, physically 39.
Lucas's older sister who followed to ensure his safety, but was never given a Domain due to not really having anything notably significant to offer Light Song that she does not already have. Light Song keeps her around so Lucas does not try to betray her, and because Amelia can function quite well as a spy.
Victor Stellarum
89 years old, physically 23.
Grew up in Lux Aura with a lot of exposure to Light Song and admires her due to her power, strength, and global presence. After dying from unexpected circumstances, joined Light Song without hesitation. Due to his loyalty and admiration, there is a possibility of him becoming a God (or at least a Zypherin for her) in a couple more decades, or after he has a defined talent Light Song can use as a Domain.

The Dragon Prince: Pre-Season 6 Thoughts.
(Post finishing my 3rd full watch-through)
It was SUPER weird going from S4-5 Viren back to S1-3 Viren. I think it’s amazing how- like, they didn’t really redeem him? Cause he CANT be redeemed, but they still- Showed us who he was underneath the corruption and- Really emphasised how much of Viren’s villainousness was DUE to Dark Magic corruption which just- And how much he did out of love. (CoughCallumCough) Is terrifying when you think of the other two characters that have ties to it…
Viren turning to dark magic to save his son. “Whatever it takes: however dangerous, however vile.” But then: choosing dark magic OVER his son. Being careless with Soren’s feelings and very life. Telling Claudia to choose the egg over Soren, almost turning Soren into a sunbeast, gaslighting him, etc…
It appears that he first saw the Mirror in his first “dark magic coma,” with his future self on the other side of it. Explaining again why he became so obsessed with the Mirror when he saw it- The fact that S5 Viren would agree with Runaan’s warning: “that mirror? You have found something worse than death-“ Kinda mindblowing.
I have and will always be on the “Viren is an irredeemable bitch” train but- I didn’t expect it to hurt so much when I got back to Season-4-him coming to terms with mortality and just wanting to spend the next 30 days enjoying life with his daughter like- It seemed so deeply unserious and out of left-field when I first watched it, but, post Season 5- Wow, it actually hurts?
His relationship with Terry was actually really sweet? And Terry really helped him unpack so much of the Toxic Masculinity in him… as a certified Viren hater, it’s disturbing how much of this is about him- I always thought the crew spent too much time with him but- He is actually such an amazing foil?
Once again: Harrow is the bird, (Pip), confirmed. Ghost Harrow standing over Viren with the staff saying “your soul is my treasure” in reverse, turning Viren into a Coin? With Pip right behind him for “no other reason?” Also, new theory but: I think this also might be pointing to how the star spell Callum will use, with the Quazar Diamonds, to “restore spirits to their bodies.” Will not only be able to save Rayla’s family, but potentially King Harrow as well…. (Harrow has been on an Oppa bird-side-quest journey this entire time, mark my words: one does not simply emphasise bird and then let bird escape so he is “conveniently” never in the same room as the only known animal speaker, King Ezran, ever again).
Umm, something I noticed that I actually hope is just thematic and is not an important observation but: Callum has learned/connected with both of his Arcanum DIRECTLY after having used Dark Magic… (Also after doing so to save Rayla, but yeah-) And Dark Magic appears to have been something cultivated by Aaravos? Oh great master of all six primal sources?Basically, I’m hoping that it is just thematic and showing triumph over evil! Of choosing your own path! But… there is a non-zero chance that Callum might ONLY have made these connections BECAUSE he used dark magic and- (Don’t let it be so, please- I love Mage Callum, he loves magic why- /scared) It’ll take three to make a solid pattern just- don’t make it three for three, please-
Aaravos is basically whispering in Karim’s ear, via the old high mage that his caterpillar (son) bit, isn’t he? Meaning he’s being manipulated by the person who killed his sister, destroyed Lux Aurea and swallowed his grandmother. And hence Sol Regrem is, too, being manipulated, through Karim, by the person who GAVE humans dark magic, gave them the wizard staff and LEGIT took his eyes- It is LITERALLY the end of S3 again- Karim in Viren’s place. Aaravos, master warmonger-
Rayla to Callum, finally opening up about the coins: “there’s a burden I’m carrying, but I know I can trust you with it.” To trust is to be stronger. If we’re gonna do it, we’re going do it. Together. Meanwhile: Callum carrying the burden of using dark magic alone. And I’m not even sure if he’s TOLD anyone that the cube is called the @Key of Aaravos!” He tried to destroy it but- he couldn’t and- (This is gonnna FUCKING HURT I-)
Another small observation, but to the Earth Archdragon in S4, Callum offered the least valuable item as a gift when- I’m pretty sure if he offered the Key of Aaravos, it would have been enough on its own and really gotten the ball rolling too? Would it have been smart to give it up? Unclear. But that thing is also a potential danger and-
(I love my baby Callum and I fear for his fate a bit more each day-)
Claudia… oh Claudia… I dunno what it is, but the fact she is so “committed to her family,” but at the same time… they are still alive. As far as we know, her mother is still alive in Del Bar. Soren is still there, and even tries to reconnect with her in Season 4. The only one who’s dying is Viren, but all Viren wants is to spend his last month with his daughter in peace and-Oh Claudia
Extra: I bought and read the graphic novels for a fuller experience, and found them quite interesting:
Callum was going to go off with Rayla on her search for Viren. And she accepted as a lie, before sneaking off in the night. Ouch.
It’s not explicitly stated, but it appears Rayla developed her fear of water from when she almost drowned on the Harvest Moon, as a child, after a run in with the Bloodmoon Huntress. She was alone and pushed off a cliff/waterfall into a lagoon where she was too weak/young to save herself and Runaan had to miraculously appear and save her. We see her carelessly dangling on a log over a stream before this scene, with seemingly no fear. And she also hasn’t interacted with the Bloodmoon Huntress yet, as of Season 5: literally JUST missed her but, I wonder if it’ll come back? 🤔
The third graphic novel takes place before Ezran was born and follows Claudia (and Soren) searching Viren’s old mentors house. It is very much a kids book, but one with very sinister undertones. We learn two things of interest: 1). The timeline of events are as follows: “Soren got deathly ill, Viren’s old mentor ‘mysteriously disappeared,’ Soren got better, Viren and his wife started fighting, wife left-“ Which, I’m- well. That’s fun? Also: the King, Harrow’s father, comforts Viren and asks how he’s doing and how the search for his mentor goes which- well then. 👀 2). The story ends with Claudia obtaining a map to a Unicorn, a map that only she can read because she is… “pure of heart” which- is such a standard, happy ending to a kids book until you realise… what she did… once she found that Unicorn… and then what its horn went on to do…
This show is too well written for the tiny fan base it has. If it sticks the landing, like I think it will? Cult classic on our hands people. Again, I’m just pissed about the depth they brought to the show with Viren: how he was a COMPLETELY different person in Part 1 vs Part 2. How that is terrifying not because we love HIM as a character, but because of how much we love Claudia and Callum… How they made me, a Viren Hater, sad that he died? Because his death was a tragedy? Not because he died, but because he died BEFORE he could warn Claudia not to go down this path. HIS path. That he didn’t want this for her- That she could still stop-
Oof. I simultaneously dread and cannot wait a second more for Friday-

Dear President Trump:
Please, please, oh pretty please--pull America out of the United Nations. Tell them to take their hypocrisy, incompetence, corruption, and Jew-hatred, to the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland or to the golden deserts of Qatar. Maybe they can house their headquarters more appropriately in Afghanistan or Pakistan. Let the anti-Western, anti-Israel, and anti-democracy tyrannies pay their own way. Perhaps Europe can either increase their funding for the UN--or pull out as well.
I can think of many better uses for the 17-18 acres in the luxe Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, right on the East River, that the UN headquarters currently occupies. I bet you can too.
I know that the UN is a colorful place that draws many good woman of many colors, who are often wearing colorful, native dress. Women come there because they hope to meet others good women like themselves, or in the hope of finding employment. These are the members of NGOs which have absolutely no power whatsoever. But coming to Manhattan and speaking there looks good on their resumes, and it is also a way for them to mix it up with glamorized folk, get invited to yet another conference, impress their families.
Oh, what a good idea the UN once was! Read Australian-American, Shirley Hazzard, on how it had already failed its mission by the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Read her excellent short stories, based on her time as a clerical employee at the UN ("People in Glass Houses), and her superb non-fiction titles about the UN: "Defeat of an Ideal" (1973) and "Countenance of Truth" (1990).
I once also worked at the UN and saw, with my own naked eyeball, the sexual harassment and rape that was rampant among some high-ranking employers; how they also treated their home country servants as slaves; how much they spent on perks for themselves; and, with some exceptions, how dreadfully pompous, arrogant, and conformist many of the diplomats really were, and how cowed their employees had to be.
The United Nations has never stopped a genocide; how rarely they ever tried to bring the evil perpetrators to justice. They have just done one thing well, namely, legalize antisemitism, legalize antiZionism. They lack the power to enforce a Western view of woman's humanity, on non-Western or even on Western countries with a large Muslim and/or tribal population.
The Internationa Criminal Court is a proxy of the UN. In issuing arrest warrants for the Israeli Prime Minister and former Minister of Defense only, but no such warrants for a single genocidal terrorist or for their paymaster, Iran, Douglas Murray explains what they've really done. He writes: "It is like a foreign judge at the end of World War II saying that since the Nazi leaders were all dead he really ought to issue arrests warrants for Harry Truman and Winston Churchill--the other guys being otherwise engaged. After all, didn't FDR, Truman, Churchill and others end up having to kill people in their pursuit of victory in a war started by their enemies?"
Mister President: Get rid of the UN on behalf of We, the People.

An interesting thread in S7 that I noticed:
You are destroyed by the things you create.
The first time we see this kind of thread (at least I think, I might've missed something) is with Kpp'Ar and Viren in season 6. Kpp'Ar takes Viren on as his "most eager student" and teaches him much in the ways of dark magic, even eventually handing over the position of High Mage. And even once acquiring said position, Viren betrays him in order to take the Staff of Ziard, citing:
Then you have Viren being destroyed and creating the exact circumstances he didn't want. In corrupting Lux Aurea, he expelled the Sunfire elves, leading to Karim's increasing fanaticism, power struggle, and usage of Sol Regem. This led indirectly to Sol Regem bringing Viren's worst nightmare down upon Katolis.
We see this more directly with Aaravos as well, as he created Sir Sparklepuff and had Avizandum specifically summoned back from the dead in S7, both of which have a hand in his demise:
This also ties into Aaravos' desire to destroy the Cosmic Order, as they created the circumstances that led to his anger in killing Leola, and therefore his violence and great machinations:
This "you are destroyed/defeated by what you create" is also one of the things that won me over when theorizing about S7, as I thought that if Callum used dark magic to defeat Aaravos fully (rip Rayla's positive character development theorized there too), while it might have felt a bit thematically muddied, would've had a great layer of irony: Aaravos, being imprisoned/defeated by the very thing he created. Close, but no cigar!
Then, for the core protagonists, to a certain degree we have this theme with Viren and Claudia. Viren realizes his horror at what Claudia has become, as well as the path that he's pushed and led her down by example. This doesn't literally destroy him, but it does emotionally devastate him, and does end up destroying their relationship in a lot of ways.
Even Claudia gets a bit of this, as she stabs her mother in the back—a daughter killing her own mother—just as Soren stabbed Viren in 3x09. Children killing their own parents, even as illusions, fits the theme, don't you think?
Ezran also gets interwoven into this idea in a few interesting ways in season 7. In creating the circumstances that led to Ezran being king, and thereby creating the child king and his rage, Runaan could've become a victim of it, and indeed nearly was (7x01, 7x02).
The second way this could come to a head for Ezran is Project Ruby Fire, though we'll have to wait for future seasons. While the project is his and Aanya's brainchild to keep Katolis (Evrkynd now?) safe and safe from the threat of dragons in the future, it's unlikely that these weapons of destruction will stay unused, and could possibly lead to devastation and loss in their kingdoms and/or of their friends (Zym).
Last but not least, we have Callum and Rayla. While not a literal destruction (but close to), they were prepared to sacrifice everything for one another. Callum's death would've made Rayla an assassin, hardening her heart further than it already is; on the other side of things, Callum became a mage and a dark mage because of her (2x07, 5x08): "If you love her, you'll be the you who can save her," even if that means demanding she'd become the her who can kill him, and save him / the world from a fate worse than death.
At the same time, Callum only begins doing the dark magic spell because he trusts Rayla to be his safety net. I can see solid arguments for whether she would've actually gone through with it on either side, but it led to Callum re-corrupting himself and opening himself up to Aaravos' possession in the future either way.
Like with Ezran and Project Ruby Fire, I expect this plot thread to be more of a beat in Arc 3 / future seasons, but am still deeply interested to see how it may all come to pass - and how there could be more consequences (the Nova Blade?) even from trying to do good.

I couldn't resist 💀. Remember this ask?
Yeah I twisted the story and here we are..

Meet Callisto Luther! (AI name = Nox Luther)

Vishenka (cherry) and I were having conversation and I got idea omg
So basically, Hope and Dream had a fight which cause their magics to combine and created Callisto. Hope lost all of their magics because if a witch gave birth or create a living being, their magics will be transferred to the child.
Hope is powerless and Dream feels overwhelmed so he couldn't take care of Callisto (What a pain in the ass!)
Hope take care of Callisto then Lux because the original had to stick around lmao.
He hates Killermare family and he hates Dream and his family too (expect for Lux, he cares deeply for his little sister <3) (Even so he respects women-)
His opinion on people
Dream
"A massive headache. I am ashamed I was born from a fight... What a pain.. I really hate him. I don't care that he neglected me but what pisses me off that he dare to abandoned my little sister and mom all by their own! I don't curse because Mom really dislike it..."
Hope
"Mom is doing better. I really wished that I never inherited Mom's power... Mom is was so weak that she couldn't even eat.."
Lux
"my adorable little sister!!! I really adore her, she is my light of this horrible world. She support me to take the throne and I will! I'll make sure to give her everything once the throne is mine."
Palette
"Even if he is my brother... I will never see him as one... Arrogant little brat, he dare to bully my little sister and tell everyone that she is crazy because of a revengeful spirit? That's stupid-"
Drop
"I heard the little girl is locked in the castle for years now. I never see her appearance and I don't think anyone do. Dream kept her away from world... What a pain.."
Ink
"I don't care if she is kind or pretty. She is depressing- I don't like the fact she cope with depression. Drinking... That's just terrible. She needs help, a therapy will be good."
Alphonse (Corrupted Nightmare)
"I am holding myself from cursing... I hate him. That's the final."
Crescent
"I can't believe Dream is this stupid. Taking a child of an enemy as priest? This kingdom chances of getting attacked are very high.."
Angst (If he were alive)
"The crown prince of darkness kingdom... I don't know much about him. Rumours say he isolated himself from the world and waiting for death to take him."
Merciless
"I never interact with him. Sometimes I saw him walking next to Palette, sometimes he sat alone and sometimes... He feels so empty. He don't resemble the darkness king at all so I don't think I should hate him. Beside he is gives a really calming vibe."
Goth
"Oh lady Goth! Lux really adore her best friend. I'm glad Lux has someone to rely on. Lady Goth is genuinely kind to Lux. Even if she is close to Palette, she still treat Lux nicely and never believe in any of Palette's lies."
Bonus
Artemis belong to @itzcherrybonbon /@abloomingsunflower
"The precious daughter of the king I despise. Ugh... Well she is kind of pretty, I give her that. Mom said not to hate on her since I don't know anything about her.. Well she told me not to hate on anyone but I did it anyway. As long she don't interfere in my way on taking the throne, I'll be nice to her..."
Vivi belong to @canon-vi
"Oh my other little sister? Well she is adorable! Lux really adore Vivi so much and I am the same. Though, we don't spend much time together because she is a princess and has her own duty."
Kira belong to @canon-vi
"I will never understand why Dream took another child of an enemy to be a priestess... At least she is kind and look nothing like Alphonse. I am not that religious so I don't visit the church that often."

V02. Radiant Wings.
Emanator of The Hunt Boothill.
Galaxy Rangers rarely catch The Hunt’s gaze. Perhaps, the Aeon isn’t even aware of the loyal faction dedicated to THEIR path as Galaxy Rangers, their pursuit of justice and vengeance may not guide the heroes of The Hunt to the war against the Abominations of Yaoshi. As aptly described, even in the purest Hunt, one will find The Xianzhou Alliance under the spotlight and the Galaxy Rangers lurking in the shadows. The Galaxy Rangers admire Lan's policy of using violence against violence and the Aeon's swift decisiveness regarding punishment, believing the benevolence and justice of the universe need to be upheld via personal action, but ultimately The Reignbow Arbiter's gaze casts only to the radiant fleetships of The Xianzhou Alliance, THEIR aim pointed to The Abundance.
So then why did The Hunt mark a Galaxy Ranger with THEIR gaze? Why would THEY claim a non-Xianzhou native worthy to draw inimaginable power from THEIR path? These questions plagued many within the Xianzhou Alliance who try to interpret The Reignbow’s decree. Is the cowboy to aide The Xianzhou Alliance in the war against the abominations or to aide The Galaxy Rangers in cutting down Lord Ravagers and hunting Dr. Primitive; and what of his war against the IPC?
None could understand the will of The Reignbow.
The fact of the matter The Reignbow Arbiter did turn THEIR gaze to a revenge driven cowboy and THEIR gaze lingered on Boothill's war path against the IPC, granting the cowboy the power to wage war. THEY bestowed a radiant spirit on Boothill, the same THEY grant to THEIR Arbiter-Generals and while many of Lan’s followers do not understand why THEY would show any interest in a war against The Preservation’s corporation, THEY gave it regardless.
THEY casted THEIR gaze before Boothill would make the choice to sacrifice his body for his revenge. With this power from The Reignbow, he did not need to become metal. With this power from The Reignbow, he is reforged into an instrument of war. With radiant wings, he soars.
More details about emanatorhill, his powers, and general characteristics. No need to read further unless looking for more information.
Boothill’s radiant spirit is an eagle made from a condense supernova star and its brilliance is bright enough to outshine any sun. It is large, its wingspan can match the length of a Xianzhou ship, but it can also decrease its size to fit within a planet’s atmosphere. Its body is made from the energy/light of a supernova star and powerful enough to sink IPC starships in a single dive/swoop. Boothill has not given it a name yet. It is silver/white in color. It can fire a beam of light from its mouth that is similar to the beam of a Lux Arrow.
Boothill did not become a cyborg upon being granted this power but it did change his appearance slightly. His eyes changed to the color of red, and when his radiant spirit is released, his war paint illuminates/glows (similarly to Nightsoul/Genshin). His clothes/appearance is still the same in canon. He wears a black shirt under his cropped jacket and no holes on his hips/pants. Sorry, I know 😔✊🏼
Boothill masks his emanator presence 90% of the time. The events of Penacony is all the same in this AU verse and Black Swan was highly suspicious of him when he arrived and laid eyes on him. Regardless, high ranking Xianzhou individuals and Galaxy Rangers should know he’s an emanator of The Hunt.
Boothill still has an endless supply of bullets. He uses regular bullets and when he runs out, he uses stars. Sorry Rappa, but … he really can crush a star with his bare hands and forges it into bullets. He can also fire a shot that is a beam of light similar to a Lux Arrow, but this is very powerful and fired at abominations.
Boothill has an aura/presence of an eagle when it’s soaring and hunting in the sky. He intimidates the corrupted, terrifies the evil with his approach, and the cowards scatter to the shadows for cover when he descends. Unlike the Arbiter-Generals, he personifies the predator aspect of The Hunt. The evil of the cosmos should be scared of him.
Boothill’s characterization and morals is still all the same as his canon. He’s still a Galaxy Ranger, a hero of The Hunt. His fight against the IPC and his revenge is still his greatest motivation. He believes The Reignbow granted him this power to wage war. Which war? Perhaps all of them. He doesn’t know the will of The Reignbow either and The Aeon doesn’t speak to him either. But Boothill has always believed in putting a bullet in anything evil and that’s what he’ll continue to do.
