The Keep

Raise the drawbridge! Or lower it, you do you. Surrounded by a deep moat filled with murky waters, this simple yet effective defensive structure is an ideal deterrent to any would be assailants, as long as they don’t have really tall ladders, a catapult to launch them over the battlements, or the power of flight. Fully animated and featuring four variants – bridge up, bridge down, brazier on and off, this highly versatile map can easily become unique to your game and setting with some custom tokens, be they guards, siege weaponry, or goats swimming in the moat. ONCE AGAIN I AM POSTING LANCER BATTLEMAPS!!!!

One that my players did, and two more alternate scenarios they could have done!

First up, we have a map taking place on an alien ranch on a lake shore- the water is corrosive, and they're scrambling against the enemies to collect alien eggs to keep them from getting RUSTLED.

Next up we have a three faction fight where all factions are racing to the center of the map to gain control of a central payload so they can return it to their deployment zone! There's numerous NPCs, but they're fighting the players and each other which balances things.

And finally...

A race, where the PCs and NPCs have to complete a circuit around a trap-laden, mad max esque racetrack while touching each checkpoint to win! I had to compress these to upload them to tumblr, so just dm me if you want the uncompressed versions.

I have revised working with several rooms stacked on top of each other.

In combination with groups, it should now be easier to create multi-storey buildings with a roof. 😊

Appropriately enough for the recent HMS Terror posts that I've reblogged, I've spent the past few weeks slowly completing this map of the ill-fated ship. HMS Terror is underway through a sea of ice and slush, exploring the distant periphery of the known world. What dangers may her crew encounter?

What manner of treasure, knowledge, or power might be found within such a long dead husk, and what bizarre and alien creatures might make their lair within one? Weatherbeaten steps rise in a winding, bending path up the steep cliffside, hewn into the rock in ancient times. Simply looking at the scores of stairs is exhausting, and any travelling packrats are sure to groan at the prospect of making the climb, but for those that wish to reach the frosty summit, there is no better way.

The mountain barrow tomb juts from the rugged terrain of the mountain's peak, its weathered stones blending with the natural rock formations. Massive stone arches, intricately carved with ancient symbols and motifs, adorned the entrance, creating an imposing yet eerily beautiful facade. The arches loomed overhead, casting long shadows that danced in the flickering light. At the barrow's entrance, a large and ancient door still stands, rusted in place by an age of neglect, guarding the final resting place of the inhabitants of a bygone age.

Veiled in perpetual dusk, the manor stands in eerie silence, its towering spires piercing the storm-laden sky. Within its shadowed halls, chandeliers burn with an unnatural glow, illuminating nobles who never age, their crimson smiles hinting at the hunger lurking beneath their whispered invitations.

Haunted Asylum

Nestled deep among the mountains is an unforgettable, inescapable asylum for the criminally insane. Only those who have committed the most heinous of crimes are sent here, to remain for the rest of their lives.

Although this place is an asylum, it more resembles a prison. The reason this place is named Asylum of the Dead is because not a single patient leaves this place alive. Some of the patients have begun referring to themselves as “the dead,” and the nurses as “the gravekeepers.”
