how am i specifically behind on POSTING THINGS from my reread but not. the reread. okay i'm spending today going through my camera roll. anyway! 'rossum' is a reference to rossum's universal robots from the play R.U.R by karel čapek, which is credited as the first work to bring the word 'robot' into english from its czech and broader slavic use. R.U.R specifically highlights its "robots" (not yet mechanical but 'grown' humanoids) as workers who start a rebellion and take over the world. I Think That's A Neat Reference.

Ok. This is a bizarre request and I apologize in advance, but it is 100% serious. Are there any ttrpgs that either take inspiration from King of the Hill, or that you would think run adjacent to the sort of themes/settings present in KOTH? (Think like semi-modern/late 90s, rural/texan setting, slice-of-life, etc?)
(Context: Me and a friend have been entertaining the idea of a KOTH podcast as something to do for fun, and I think it would be fun to do a live-play ttrpg interlude at some point, but I'm struggling to come up with something, and too tired to make my own ruleset haha.)
THEME: Rural Slice-of-Life.
Four games about everyday life or suburbia coming right up!

Dads and Decks, by CABBAGEHEAD.
Dads & Decks is a quick and easy-to-play roleplaying game about Dads and their Decks.
YOU ARE A GROUP OF DADS GETTING READY FOR THE ULTIMATE BARBECUE. But suddenly, a MUNDANE DECK-RELATED PROBLEM has occurred. Using your DADS and DECKS, you must solve this problem together or your WEEKEND will be ruined.
Solve the mystery of the creaky floorboard or journey through the dangerous lands of Home Depot to retrieve the Holy Grill. Play together, be the Dad you want to see in the world and have fun!
This is a quick, fun, Lasers and Feelings hack that I feel could really replicate the banter that goes on between Hank Hill and his buddies throughout King of the Hill. If you want to replace the Deck-related problem with a problem that rings more true to King of the Hill, it won’t take much to make a switch!
Every TV Show Ever, by rossum.
Don't touch that dial and remember to set the DVR!
This is meant to be a quick bare-bones way to construct any kind of tv show, from a historical drama, to a kids cartoon. Each character will take a different role, such as Matriarch, Patriarch, Craftsman or Clown. You spend some time building the world and then drop a problem into the player’s laps. You navigate a series of scenes represented via index cards, and use d6’s to determine how your characters do. There’s nothing fancy here, but if you want to have a basic rule set that you can expand upon, this might work out.
Kids on Bikes, by Hunters Entertainment.
Choose your OWN destiny in this storytelling rules-light tabletop role-playing game where adventure is a bike ride away. Kids on Bikes is a Collaborative World Building RPG set in small towns with big mysteries.
Kids on Bikes may look like an ill fit at first, but the game actually has mechanics for building adults! Additionally, there is a scenario in Strange Adventures: Volume One that posits you as Dads, a twist of the original premise. This module was originally called Dads on Mowers, but I think it’s currently called Garuda Lake. This is a game that’s designed to present you with rumours that turn into mysteries, and is especially designed for stories in which the paranormal and supernatural bleed into everyday life.
The Carter County PTA, by Minor Arcana Games.
Join the obsessive parents and desperate teachers of the PTA as each stands upon a hill they're willing to die on. Tonight is the long-awaited PTA meeting and everyone will vote on whatever passion project or much-needed reform you've added to the agenda. Along the way, you'll uncover the high-stakes backstory of each Agenda Item, revealing the personal politics, wacky hijinks and sordid stories that lurk behind the PTA's prim and polished exterior.
A diceless, GM-less game, this is a game for fans of Peggy Hill specifically. All of you have big plans for the local school and you will trample anyone who gets in the way of it. You’ll uncover personal politics and wacky backstories through a series of flashbacks, all the while pressuring the other parents and teachers to vote for your pet policy. Great for small-town drama and petty rivalries!

Amanda Seyfried And Emmy Rossum Praise Tom Holland’s ‘Passion’ And ‘Energy’ On Set Of ‘The Crowded Room’: ‘He Helped Everybody Come Together’ | etcanada.com
“I remember we all had this huge dinner after or before our table read, and he’s just like [how] he was in it. He was so happy to be finally, like, starting this because he had been on that journey — I think he’d been attached to [the project] for a while — And his energy about it was infectious. His investment in it really helped everybody come together.” “Then he had shot a lot of stuff and then finally when I came in to start working a couple of months into the shoot, it was just the two of us in this room for three weeks straight. It was intense, but it was also kind of nice. It was kind of cozy in a way. We were dealing with incredible subject matter, but slowly. And the challenge was not to give anything away. It’s crazy.” “And these are incredibly emotional scenes for everybody involved. I remember after a scene that we filmed on the porch, he just kind of came over and gave me a hug and we just like, stood quietly there hugging for a while.” “I think even though these characters and stories are so different from our own, the feelings that you experience are quite real.”

Stop! I had no idea it was Phantom's birthday!!! Your reblog made me gasp. Do you have a favourite adaptation????? 🤌❤️
Tumblr media
Great question, @french-vanilla-in-the-clouds! I haven't seen too many of the film adaptations, like the Chinese "Song at Midnight" or its remake, or The Phantom Lover. I would like to thank the YouTube channel, Phantom Reviews, for introducing me to the other adaptations of Phantom. Here's a list of my personal favorite POTO adaptations:
The Phantom of the Opera (1925-1929)
This was actually the first silent film I ever watched as a kid, I was around 9 or 10 years old and it was also around the same time that the Andrew Lloyd Webber movie was coming out. I love Lon Chaney's performance as Erik, and his ability as a makeup artist as well. This holds a special place in my heart, because I remember watching it at my grandmother's house. I hope someone can make a proper adaptation of the book with today's technology; however, this is probably the closest one we have so far.
(look at the way he clenches his fist on his sleeve, A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!)
Tumblr media
The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
I remember liking this more as a kid and a teen, this has become more of a guilty pleasure movie for me now as an adult. I do appreciate some of the costume designs, I think my favorite is a tie between Christine's masquerade dress and her Think of Me dress. Minnie Driver is always fun to watch as La Carlotta, and Patrick Wilson did his best as Raoul. If it were made today with Emmy Rossum's acting abilities from being on Shameless, I think it could've worked beautifully, I'll give her some leeway because she was a teenager then.
(This is my favorite shot of Erik, btw)
Tumblr media
The Phantom of the Opera (1990)
Btw, this was actually my first introduction to Charles Dance before Game of Thrones. I know this is technically also an adaptation of another musical prior to Lloyd Webber's, Yeston and Kopit; regardless, I like how this version of Erik is more on the sweet side, but he does have his limits (and I love his sarcastic remarks about Carlotta lol). I wish we could have seen what his disfigurement looked like, however, I do appreciate how the filmmakers wanted the audience to imagine it for themselves.
Tumblr media
Goosebumps' The Phantom of the Auditorium (1995)
Okay, so I haven't actually read any of the Goosebumps books. I liked watching the TV show a bit more. This episode was a fun, kid-friendly version of Phantom.
(excuse the crappy quality of the photo)
Tumblr media
Phantom of the Paradise (1974)
Okay, this one is a lot of fun. I do like how it was more rock and roll, and I like this Phantom's design, it almost reminds me of Panna a Nevtor, or the Czechoslovak Beauty and the Beast movie. There's definitely some campiness to the film as well, especially with Beef (the La Carlotta counterpoint), and Winslow's court case scene.
Tumblr media
Phantom of the Megaplex (2000)
I have a soft spot for this one, because it was the first time where I saw clips of the Lon Chaney film featured in the beginning. On paper, I do like the premise of a guy haunting a movie theater, and I do like some of the more "Phantom" moments where he's disrupting each theater with something, like the projector bubbling out, or the dinosaur balloon. Also, I do like Mickey Rooney's speech about movies and movie-going.

POTO Korea Christine 손지수[Sohn Ji-soo]'s essay, "크리스틴을 만나다(Meeting Christine)". (+ Her '시어터플러스(THEATRE+)' interview.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It seems like 19 years have passed already. When I was a student, I happened to see the movie <The Phantom of the Opera> (2004) (at school. *손지수 graduated 선화 Arts Middle School Department of Vocal Music and 선화 " High " ). Fascinated by the enchanting music, mysterious and thrilling stories, and the charming soprano "Christine" in the play, my photo album was filled with her pictures for a while. I even put a picture of Emmy Rossum on my mini homepage.
Living in a lot of classical music, my dream has always been to be a soprano. "Someday, I will sing on stage like Christine."
After graduating from vocal music and making my debut in Milano, I became a soprano of my dreams.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
* 손지수 graduated with top honors from 서울(Seoul) National University Department of Vocal Music. After that, she graduated from the 'Conservatorio di Musicica Giuseppe Verdi di Milano'. In 2014, she made her debut in Milano as Rosina, the heroine of the opera 'Il barbiere di Siviglia(The Barber of Seville)'. According to her, a soprano who was supposed to play Rosina was sick. So 손지수, who was an understudy, suddenly made her debut as the heroine Rosina. She said that the trembling emotions of the day were imbued when she sang 'Think Of Me' as Christine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"<The Phantom of the Opera>, which will be performed in Korean again after 13 years."
I had a chance to audition for a call(The other Christine, 송은혜[Song Eun-hye], who became a phan after watching 최현주's performance in 2009, passed a general audition and became a Christine. (송은혜 is also a fan of Sierra Boggess.) 손지수 was selected as Christine among the call audition participants. The reason why the call audition was held was because they couldn't find a satisfied applicant other than 송은혜 in the general audition. *송은혜 majored in opera, but worked as a popera singer/an ensemble in the musical Elisabeth. *손지수 is an opera singer and made her musical debut with the Phantom of the Opera.) as Christine in the musical <The Phantom of the Opera>, which reminded me of a precious (art)work in my memories that I had forgotten for a while.
I read a book, watched a musical video, and looked for the movie that I watched 19 years ago. The thrill from the overture made my heart pound once again. Over the years, I became a soprano like Christine, but I never thought I would be Christine in the work. Feeling indescribable gratitude and joy, I met Christine like fate.
...
I came to think that the face of the Phantom in the mask might be our inner self. Everyone has their own wounds, and we often hide behind masks to hide their disgrace. And we want to be comforted and loved by someone.
...
Looking at the Phantom's desperate past, I thought about how many people could overcome it alone without being affected by the difficult environment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Christine recognized the pure soul of the Phantom in the mask, and enlightened the Phantom with the right love. The Phantom, who was not loved by anyone, received spiritual healing when he met an angel named Christine.
Meeting Christine, who is like a ray of warm sunshine in a dry society, raises great inspiration and challenges in my music life. How wonderful it would be to console someone through my life like Christine told the Phantom true love! In that sense, I am going to the theater as an angelic Christine with gratitude and happiness again today.

Do you have any OCs whose faceclaims have changed over time, or where you were torn between multiples faceclaims when trying to choose? If so, who were the other potential faceclaims?
Good question! Okay, this might take a while.
My old faceclaim (though not very serious) method was just looking on Pinterest to find someone to paint that kinda looks how the characters look in my head. I don't even know most of the models' names except just searching them up.
Let me see if I can find the old inspo for Iriel... plus old art based off the second picture
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first person is apparently Anya Mikheeva? And the second person is Carolina Porqueddu
Warning for really old art of Kaia
All of these were done before I had figured out the faceclaim business. Also because these were so old, I don't know who they're based on. Sorry. I can't find the model. And then of course my old cartoon style 😅
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now for Odel, for a while, she was based off a model on Instagram that I unfortunately can't find her account. I used to run an old fake Insta for Odel using some of her pictures, but I might've deleted the posts? But I also got locked out of the old account... But I found one clear picture of the original model.
Tumblr media
I thought she worked well for Odel, but then I discovered Ho Yeon Jung and thought she was perfect.
I think I've shared this story before, but when I was trying to find someone for Marigold, very early on in the process, I think before I chose her name? It's been too long. I briefly considered Emma Dumont but thankfully didn't, which would've been very bad since she played Lorna Dane in The Gifted...
Tumblr media
For Lee, I think I had considered Isabelle Fuhrman at first since I knew her from Hunger Games.
Tumblr media
And Tessa Hayes' faceclaim used to be Emmy Rossum but was changed due to her being problematic. Now her faceclaim is Maia Mitchell.

i often see people commenting about Emma Kenney and how she came out to say that emmy rossum wasn't a joy to be around on set and what not;
they say shit like how emma kenney is a brat on shameless and irl and i think that is so strange.
yes, you watched her act in a show, but this doesn't equal to knowing her personally.
you do not know her and she does not know you, how would you know if she is a so called brat?
with that being said, emma kenney is not bad at acting either. the casting directors would have not accepted her if they didn't think she would be good, or shall i say PERFECT; for the role.
and no, just because you dislike her does not mean nobody likes her.
her social media following says otherwise and the multiple blogs that write for her and her character debbie gallagher also prove you wrong.
and yes, so what if emma kenney said positive things about emmy rossum?
a human can be your favourite person to walk this earth but simultaneously be a horrible person.
i do not believe that emmy rossum is abusive, i think it was a financial matter.
i do agree that she one of the reasons shameless was so liked and that she was infact under paid but to take it out on your coworkers, let alone coworkers who are minors?
that's a whole different thing. she did not deserve to be under paid but she was not in the right to act shitty towards the people she works with.
hating on a real person because you dislike their work and portrayal of a fictional character is fucking delusional and downright insane.
like i am truly in shock.
p.s., this post was fuelled by this weird ass tiktok post on my fyp about how emma went on a podcast to talk about her ON SET. experience, so you can probably already see what the comments looked like.
if you can't imagine what the comments were, its just people being ignorant and weird because they are busy dick-riding a character they like a lot vs a character they hate so much that they are willing to go as far as invalidate a person's experience.

The 20th Anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera (2004)
The Phantom of the Opera (2004) has been — and continues to be — one of my favorite childhood movies. It was so influential in my life, in fact, that my entire family experienced a collective phase where we loved and learned the songs and rewatched it regularly. If you can believe it, I was only seven years old when I saw this movie for the first time, and I still hum songs like Angel of Music to myself. Unfortunately, I did not have the privilege of seeing the stage show before its permanent closure, and the film is the only adaptation we have to immortalize it.
Tumblr media
Pros:
* Purists do not give this film enough credit that it is a faithful adaptation of the stage show. How easily this version could have been ruined by filmmakers who didn’t care about the source material
* Despite purists constantly complaining about Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum’s performances, Rossum is still a beautiful singer whose fragile and vulnerable vocals work better in a cinematic context than opera singers like Sierra Boggess’s would have. Likewise, Butler’s portrayal of the phantom is decent. He brings a menacing, intimidating presence to the character — particularly when he is shown through silhouettes or no dialogue
* The music, of course, is wonderful and iconic
* The movie adaptation was my first introduction to a non-Disney musical. It made a huge impact on my childhood and I continue to love the film and its soundtrack to this day
* Some of the sets and costumes are extravagant and pleasing to the eye
* Movie adaptations of musicals generally incentivize audiences to appreciate theater by watching “stage shows” in a different medium. I definitely would not have watched The Phantom of the Opera in its original format
* As other critics have pointed out, the movie fixes the logical problems from the original version
* The actors who play Andre and Firmin share adorable chemistry and are a great comedic duo with fun interactions throughout the movie
Cons:
* This movie has one single big problem: the filmmaking is not especially strong. (Disclaimer: I am mostly referencing other critics with this statement and am not qualified to speak on the matter). The reveal of Phantom-related narrative beats are much less potent because of underwhelming makeup and camerawork; the tone and aesthetic are a bit confused and fail to commit to either a dreamlike setting or gritty realism; the staging in many scenes is often far too crowded by flowers, candles, etc.; and the cinematography tends to wash out the film
Verdict: A more effective adaptation from stage to screen would certainly have benefited the film version of The Phantom of the Opera. Thankfully, the technical ineptitudes of the 2004 iteration do not bother me much. I can’t deny the nostalgic appreciation I have for this movie and I will forever love it for introducing me to a musical I loved as a child and still love as an adult. I still recommend seeing the stage version (if you can anymore), but the film is not a horrible way to learn of the most successful musical of all time.
As an aside, now that it has been two decades since the premiere of this film, I can’t help but wonder what a better, updated retelling of this story would look like. Perhaps we’ll find the answers to such a query sooner than we think…

The little mermaid was amazing!!! In ur opinion, what are your favorite Disney live actions???
I don’t remember how many Disney live actions there have been and I haven’t watched them all so I will rank some of them from best to worst, giving my personal opinion on them:
The Little Mermaid (2023):
A beautiful adaptation of a classic, captures the magic of the original while feeling updated. You can tell a lot of effort and heart was put into this movie. Halle as Ariel was breathtaking. She feels like an animated princess come to life. Her vocals are show stopping and casting someone that actually sings makes a big difference. The visuals and that tail design were beautiful. The overall cast was also fantastic and the songs feel very theatrical, except for one song, but it’s short and not enough to ruin the movie.
2. Cinderella (2015):
I think it’s a solid adaptation. The few changes are good. It feels boring at times but it’s enjoyable and charming. The overall cast was pretty outstanding and on point. Lily James was a good choice as Cinderella and so was Cate Blanchett, but the reason why it’s so high on this list is because it easily has the best Disney princess dress. That blue dress was just too magical so props to their department.
3. The Lion King (2019):
A bit unpopular but I found it enjoyable. It had beautiful visuals and great design but it lacked some heart. It would’ve benefit from some changes since it feels like the exact same animated version just less magical. However, I don’t think it was that bad and it’s still one of the best Disney animated movies so it was never failing in my book. I just wished it had something more to make it surprising.
Now...after this it gets trickier so bare with me.
4. Maleficent 1 (2017):
This is a huge unpopular opinion but I actually like this movie. Angelina Jolie as Maleficent was one of Disney's best casting choices and she does a fantastic job. She just got that intimidating presence. Elle Fanning wasn’t bad as Aurora. She was sweet and charming. I think the movie does the job and the meaning at the end being more about mother-daughter love than just the love of a prince was great. The sequel was bad but the first one was great.
5. Beauty’s and The Best (2017):
Another unpopular take (or maybe not) but Emma Watson wasn’t a good choice for Belle. It was clearly a stunt casting and wasn't based on the ability to portray the character. I will always have a soft spot for her because of Hermione but she isn't a very good actress. For Belle, she lacked emotion and charisma. The auto tune in her voice was very evident while watching the movie and they needed to hire an actual singer. Emmy Rossum was reportedly in the running so the fact she lost this role is insane. The actor playing Beast was okay. But Gaston and Lefou were the only memorable things of the movie. A big let down was that ugly yellow dress. It made the scene extremely underwhelming. Evermore is a good prince song, second just to Prince Eric with Wild Uncharted Waters.
6. Aladdin (2019)
You see, this movie is very confusing to me and It's not my place to speak on this but I agree that the casting should've focused on arab actresses for Jasmine. Naomi is a great singer but I don't think she should've been casted for this because Arab culture is very important for the world of Aladdin. The actor playing Aladdin wasn't great (and is a nasty person). And he wasn't a singer which lowkey ruined A Whole New World and had Naomi doing all the work. And overall, the movie had great visuals and some interesting changes for Jasmine but it fails to create that extravagant spectacle I associate with the animated film. Will Smith tries to be a good genie but it lacks and I don't know if it was the direction or the script. It had the material to be excellent but just wasn't that. Speechless is a great new song, thought.
7. Mulan (2020)
It breaks my heart this movie was disappointing because Mulan is one of my favorite animated movies but it had a lot of problems. I won’t talk about the cultural inaccuracies because that’s not my place but there’s a lot of videos on that. Sure, the visuals were beautiful but it doesn’t feel like Disney. They gave Mulan super powers which removes the impact of her being an ordinary person doing grand things. They also removed the songs from the movie and Mulan has one of the best Disney soundtracks. They also removed Li Shang because “strong women can’t have love interests”. They should’ve advertised this as a movie about the legend of Fa Mulan, the real thing, and not as a live action of the Disney animated movie version.
8. Cruella (2021)
It was bad. Emma Stone is a great actress but not for this role and the script was not good. Not every villain needs a sob story to justify their actions but I feel this movie didn't even try. It feels like a joke or a bad constructed comedy. But, my biggest pet peeve about this is how bad the fashion is. Cruella is the type of character you can allow yourself to be extravagant and over the top with. In the live action, there's not those huge big fur coats or those elaborated hats, not enough animal print or punk rock. It feels so boring. The 90's gave her better fashion and it didn't have half the budget. The movie was bad, not needed at all.

if you're comfortable, i'd love to learn more about your hunger games oc, sutherland. she seems so cool! do you have anything you could share? 💖
awww thank you!!! im still kinda workshopping her character but here's what i currently have established for her :-) i wrote more than i though i would so under the cut lol
because suzanne collins named her characters with the influence of their district (i.e. glimmer from d1), i wanted to do the same for sutherland! district 10 is typically shown in the southwest of north america on panem maps, & sutherland literally means "southern land."
her faceclaim is emmy rossum! sutherland is around 5'6, and with her work in the fields of d10, she's got a slightly better build than those from other districts. she has brown hair & eyes, and is mainly dressed in a palette of oranges & browns.
at first she isn't really sure why she volunteered. she didn't know marlo or the hacketts well at all, but there was just something about seeing a family already so affected by the games having another child reaped. she was also going to be kicked out of her community home soon, because she's 17 at the start of the 68th games. during her interview with caesar, she plays up that she volunteered to win & is confident in her ability to, but really she didn't think it fair that a victor's child was reaped.
her main mentor is falabella hackett, marlo's mother. she coached sutherland to turn everything surrounding her reason for volunteering away from marlo & her family, and instead because she wanted to win the games. falabella didn't want any fallback on her family because sutherland decided to say she thought it was fucked up victor's kids get reaped.
in d10, she worked with both horses & cattle. compared to the other livestock raised there, she was happy to work with cattle since it felt "freer" working in the pastures & riding horses. bc im making her a #horse girl, if she hadn't volunteered, she would've liked to work solely with the horses raised for the capitol (tribute parade, etc.). as a victor she owns a couple herself & rides as her talent.
she knows the basics of leatherworking, but she prefers embroidery as a craft. after she won her games, her stylist always dressed her with something that had embroidery throughout it.
she had a similar mindset to gale (how different can it be killing an animal vs tribute) when entering the games. because of this, she made no attempt to make allies, even with her district partner tatum. she stuck to herself and avoided other tributes for the first few days of the game. she eventually would use bear traps scattered around the arena to take out most of the career pack.
speaking of bears!!! she almost dies to a muttation that's basically a crazy bear monster. it was down it the final three when it attacked her, but the other two tributes took each other out before she could be killed by it. the capitol initially had her keep the scars it gave her, since the citizens were so enamored by her survival. she is often gifted bear trinkets or furs, and she cannot stand it.
im not having her story have a huge influence/change on the source material, but i am retconing the d10 tribute dying in catching fire lol. i haven't decided if i want her to have been rescued during the games OR from the capitol yet though (either way she was in on the plan).
for the 75th games she volunteers again (technically making her the only person to ever volunteer twice lol) she's the youngest out of all the living tributes, doesn't have children, & knows she can help keep katniss alive during the quarter quell.
by the time cf & mj roll around, sutherland has been a victor & mentor for 7 years. she also has spent a significant amount of time in the capitol. while it appears she's paraded around by the same guy (justinian) all the time, they're both actually part of the underground group plutarch was a part of to overthrow the capitol. he also manages to get to district 13 for mj.
sutherland would absolutely vote no for a ceremonial final hunger games. ik the math wouldn't work out then with the vote at the end of mj, but idc enough to figure that out LMAO. she knows justinian's nieces/nephews & also can't imagine any child being put through that.

Python Development Course: Empowering the Future with Softs Solution Service
Tumblr media
Python, a high-level programming language, has emerged as a favorite among developers worldwide due to its emphasis on readability and efficiency. Originating in the late 1980s, Python was conceived by Guido van Rossum as a successor to the ABC language. Its design philosophy, encapsulated by the phrase "Beautiful is better than ugly", reflects a commitment to aesthetic code and functionality.
What sets Python apart is its versatile nature. It supports multiple programming paradigms, including procedural, object-oriented, and functional programming. This flexibility allows developers to use Python for a wide range of applications, from web development and software engineering to scientific computing and artificial intelligence.
Python’s standard library is another of its strengths, offering a rich set of modules and tools that enable developers to perform various tasks without the need for additional installations. This extensive library, combined with Python’s straightforward syntax, makes it an excellent language for rapid application development.
One of Python's most significant contributions to the tech world is its role in data science and machine learning. Its easy-to-learn syntax and powerful libraries, like NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib, make it an ideal language for data analysis and visualization. Furthermore, frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch have solidified Python's position in the development of machine learning models.
Education in Python programming has become crucial due to its growing demand in the industry. Recognizing this, institutions like Softs Solution Service, IT training institute in Ahmedabad, have stepped up to provide comprehensive Python Development Training. Their Online Python Development Course is tailored to meet the needs of both beginners and seasoned programmers. This course offers an in-depth exploration of Python's capabilities, covering everything from basic syntax to advanced programming concepts.
The course structure usually begins with an introduction to Python's basic syntax and programming concepts. It then progressively moves into more complex topics, such as data structures, file operations, error and exception handling, and object-oriented programming principles. Participants also get to work on real-life projects, which is vital for understanding how Python can be applied in practical scenarios.

Top 15 Portrayals of Christine Daae (ALW’s Phantom)
As many of you know, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera” is an important show to me. As well as being my favorite adaptation of the classic novel, it is perhaps my second favorite musical of all time…and given how many musicals I love, that’s saying a lot. It’s certainly one of the most popular pieces of musical theatre ever created; it’s had numerous tours worldwide, many productions in non-English-speaking countries, has been running for decades straight on the West End in London…and, of course, it currently holds the record for the longest-running Broadway musical in existence, with 35 Years Onstage under its black belt.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. That long-running streak of shows is about to fade away: on April 16th - three days from now - the original run of the Phantom of the Opera will be closing on Broadway. While it is possible the show could return in a revival production, and of course the show itself won’t be disappearing entirely, it is sad that such a long-lasting fixture on the New York stage scene will be coming to an end. In honor of this celebrated musical, I thought it would be good to present a few lists naming some of my favorite actors who have played the key three roles in the show: Christine Daae, our main character; the dashing Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny; and, of course, the Phantom himself, known in the book as Erik. I’ll be naming my Top 15 Favorite Actors to play each part between now and closing day for the Broadway production. There are only two rules in order for performers to count. One, I obviously have to have seen or at least heard their work, and heard it in good quantity; if I’ve only heard or seen a performer do one song, I don’t think it’s fair to give them a heap of credit, because I don’t know what the rest of the performance is like. Two, I won’t be counting JUST Broadway performers: actors from the West End, Las Vegas, Canada, Australia, and many others will be included too, along with cast members from the 2004 movie and the 25th Anniversary production at Royal Albert Hall. HOWEVER, I will be counting ONLY English-speaking performers. Why, you may ask? Well, primarily, it’s because I simply and honestly just haven’t seen or heard that much from non-English versions of the show. The ones I have heard or seen have been great, but the ones who perform in my own native language are the ones I know the best. With all that said, let’s begin with Christine. Christine is a more interesting character than I think a lot of people give her credit for. Her heart, her mind, and her will itself are all put to the ultimate test in this show, as she has to figure out where her loyalties and love truly lie. For her, the events she lives through are equal parts traumatic and exhilarating. It’s not an easy journey, and while Christine never swings a sword or gives great commands, she’s a much stronger and more layered character than many likely realize. The best versions of Christine find solid ways to blend her innocence and her maturity, and all have voices that truly match that of a person whom the Phantom considers “His Angel of Music.” This will be a description-less list, as will be the other two to come: just names and pictures. This is mostly because analyzing some of these actors and performances is honestly really, REALLY hard to do, at least for me. Having said that, I think I’ve prattled here long enough: allow me to present my Top 15 Portrayals of Christine Daae from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera!

Tom Holland’s career-best performance?
‘The Crowded Room’ also stars other heavyweights such as Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane and Will Chase. However, the British actor believes he really has given it his all, especially with his character traversing multiple timelines (no, not of the Marvel kind) and flashbacks
“I think we did a great job of scheduling it. I was bouncing backwards and forwards in time on so many different days and shooting multiple episodes in the same day, which was really, really tough. It just meant that we had to be really vigilant and prepared for every day’s work.”
“My proudest moment is in the 10th episode. There have been a few times in my career where I’ve read a scene and genuinely been terrified of how we were going to make it come to life. I just remember reading it and going, I’m not sure how we’re going to do this. Ben Perkins and my brother Harry were really instrumental in this part of the process. I’m so proud of the scene now, but I was really stressed going into that day of shooting and it wasn’t easy at all.”
