How do I implant a trigger in the toy so that it forgets what was said or done at a certain moment and what is the limit of practices like this?
My biggest piece of advice for hypnotic amnesia is not to focus on the forgetting, but focus on what they should think of instead. "You will forget everything that I say while I am touching your shoulder like this" or "when I say the word 'reset', you will forget the last thirty seconds" can work with some people, but the subject has to be pretty skilled with amnesia already.
Generally a more effective suggestion involves redirecting the mind. Something like "Whenever I touch your shoulder like this, you will focus on how nice it feels. I might say or do things, but they'll just pass you by, and when I take my hand off your shoulder all you'll remember is how nice my hand feels. Or "when I say the word 'reset', the last thirty seconds will blur into a memory of obedience. You'll remember being a good toy for me, and if you try to remember more you'll just remember how much you love to be a good toy."
As for the limit of this sort of thing, it's bound mostly by how experienced the subject is, and of course what they want.
Happy trancing!

Fun triggers to give your subjects
-They believe anything you say when you put you hand on their shoulder
-They get really tired and sleepy (not trancey, just sleepy and kinda loopy) when you put your hand on their cheek)
-Dragging your finger from their forehead to the tip of their nose repeatedly makes them dumber and dumber, more confused, need things to be explained by you
-Making circles on their forehead with your finger will slowly wipe all thought from their mind and/or make them unable to move until you order them to go back to normal. Again not quite trancey their brains are just silent.

Vampires aren’t real. That’s a fact that everyone can agree on. They don’t exist. They’re mythical beings that have been around for thousands of years. But you’ve never exactly seen one, have you?
At least. You haven’t seen one in the way of novels or books. But there are plenty of kinds of vampires.
For instance, you’re probably most familiar with the blood-sucking vampires in famous works such as Bram Stoker's Dracula, Hotel Transylvania, and even the infamous Twilight. But that’s fake. Fantasy. Not real.
Vampires aren’t real. That’s a fact. At least, not the blood sucking kind.
But have you ever been sitting with someone? And they just blabber on and on and on. No matter how much you try to leave, to pull your attention away, ignore them, they just bring your attention right back.
Sometimes they even capture you with their eyes. Kind of like how I’ll capture you with a spiral.
Tumblr media
But that’s okay. You don’t mind. You like when I talk. You like when I go on and on about how silly people are for believing in vampires.
Even as you feel your energy just draining away.
The more I talk and talk.
The more I tell you.
The sleepier you get.
The harder it gets to focus.
But hey, I’ll snap in front of you, redirect your focus to me
Tumblr media
Focus, silly. I’m trying to tell you something.
It’s rude to doze off when people are talking.
You have to focus on me.
On my words.
On my spiral.
Tumblr media
Focusing as though they were my eyes.
I’m talking and you’re just dozing off. How impolite.
You’re supposed to listen to me.
Focus on me.
Focus on my spiral.
Tumblr media
Focus on my words.
Focus on me, me, me.
That’s it. There we go.
You have to remember to listen.
So you can obey. So you can obey me.
Now, as I was saying, vampires.
They aren’t real. But energy vampires.
Vampires that take your energy.
Make you sleepy, drowsy, dizzy, woozy.
Make you weak, vulnerable, obedient, dazed.
Those are very much real.
And you… Well, you’re talking to one.
So be a good little prey, a good little thrall.
And sleep for your mistress.
Good thrall~.

So I’m starting to learn hypnosis because my partner has said they’d think I’d be good at it among other things, and the resource I’ve found has been great so far, but his boyfriend mentioned confusion and conversational inductions and I’m not sure what resources are good to trust so I’m curious if you have any good suggestions for more in depth things?
Great question! Finding resources for this sort of thing can be quite challenging. Credentials are not very trustworthy: at least two cats have been awarded high-level hypnotherapy credentials, and no matter how warm and relaxing they are, cats aren't hypnotherapists.
For a similar reason, I'd generally advise against paying for any books or materials that haven't been specifically recommended to you. Not because they're all bad, but because anyone can sell a book these days, there are just as many bad paid resources as bad free ones. (Although the best ones may be better than their free counterparts.)
Confusion inductions are reasonably easy to learn if you've been able to hypnotize people in the past. I recommend the induction "Seven, Plus or Minus Two" (you can find a few different scripts and demonstrations for it online) as a good starting place. It's not the only way to do a confusion induction, but it can be easily adapted to lots of different environments, so it's a good one to learn. I strongly encourage you to use point-form notes instead of a full script, and Seven Plus or Minus Two is very well-structured, so it's a good one to start with point-form notes if you've been reading scripts up until this point.
Conversational inductions are a lot harder, mostly because there are a lot of people interested in them who want to hypnotize others without consent (genuinely, not just CNC), and so there are a lot of creeps and grifters trying to make money off them. Anything which mentions "seduction" is an immediate red flag, and I'd also steer clear of anything which is trying to teach hypnotic techniques to salespeople. You'll come across a lot of references to "neuro-linguistic programming" as well. I personally don't like NLP as a model/paradigm, but many objectively good hypnotists do like it and claim to benefit from its techniques. I won't say not to learn about it or listen to its adherents, but I will encourage a healthy skepticism.
I'm still not amazing with conversational inductions, but the way I eventually learned them was by studying Eriksonian hypnosis and indirect suggestion. Once I had a firm handle on that, I was able to integrate those hypnotic patterns into my speech. The book I found most useful for conversational hypnosis (among many other things) was Trancework by Michael Yapko. It's a great book and very informative, although fair warning: it is a textbook for therapists, so it's quite dense and some of the ideas need to be filtered/adapted for a recreational context.
I hope this helps. Please do send me another ask if I missed something important, or if you have more questions. Good luck and happy trancing!

Ivy's social skills have paid off at last, and dark scholar Beau has been re-recruited! Just in time, too. The proximity detector is going wild!!

Everything scary happens while our superpowered vampire is asleep...

I don't like it :(

NO, NOT THE BABY!!! 😱
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm glad one of us is still clear-headed enough to make a plan for what happens next, at least.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mechi and Kwahu will get Ivy comfortable in the hospital, and freshly re-recruited Beau is going to put her dark study expertise to good use by studying that chunk of Revenant flesh. Alistair, the only sane man at the moment, is going to get to work building a containment facility and making some disruptor flare packs. We're going entity hunting. How dare that monster hurt our baby!!
Tumblr media
Most of the time, they're actually pretty good in high-stress situations, Beau. It's just when their kid is on the line that they get antsy.
I hope Jut wakes up soon T.T

This is the funniest way of depicting Speedster Speedster Sense™ ever
(Speedster Speedster Sense™: a Speedster's innate ability to track and locate other Speedsters, especially when the tracked Speedster is using their powers)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They're like bloodhounds after a squirrel lmao
Normally, this kinda thing is depicted as a speedster just kinda knowing where someone is (see, below)
Tumblr media
Like these panels where Barry just knows where Max and Wally are. There are tons and tons of instances of Speedsters vaguely feeling another Speedster nearby or, like Barry, just knowing their exact coordinates but seeing an energy trail? That's fun. I like that so much better.
It isn't the first time we've seen something like this. Wally tracked down a time manipulator for Dick one time exactly like Ace and Avery. But it's just so fun. I'm glad to see it back.

Color theory is such a cool concept, don’t you think? The idea that colors have meanings and can evoke certain emotions from people. For example, pink.
Pink is a softer, lighter version of red, being the outcome of mixing red and white while not being called “light red” as others would say with say green or blue or purple.
Pink, or at least the lighter shades of it, evoke calmness, comfort, and relaxation. And that’s such an interesting thing for a color so associated with horny in this community. But pink is meant to be relaxing, for instance sports teams will paint their opposing team’s locker room pink to calm and drain them to get an edge in the start of the game.
It’s such a fascinating color, really. The idea that pink is essentially just light red but still managed to become its own color is just so interesting. And to add to that, from a color as blood pumping as red to make you relaxed, melt into your sheets, all soft and easy and pliant, that’s a real achievement.
Pink is such a fun color, because it’s so pretty, pastel pink, pale pink, any light shade of pink I happen to find myself quite fond of. Perhaps it’s because it looks so good on you. Because when you wear pink you tend to relax, become all that much easier to entrance, all that easier to play with your hair and speak soft words until you’re putty in my hand. Your brain is pink. Did you know that? It’s such a nice shade of pink, really. Can you picture it in your head? The soft shade of pink, the same color of your brain, blending right in. You have no clue that that same pink is doing its job to bring you down for me. Pink is made to soften and relax you, so that’s what we’re going to do. Soften and relax you. So you’re going to grab any clothing item with pink on it, and slip it on. Already you feel it calming you, the pink seeping into your mind, wrapping it in a warm pink blanket and soothing it until you just can’t think.
You’re so pretty in pink, you should wear it more often. It suits you so well. Good girls love the color pink because of how much it relaxes them, how much it melts their pretty pink brains down so my words can really seep right into their heads. Their cute faces flush pink as I speak pretty words into their ear and make them all warm and cozy for the color pink.
You love the color pink because it makes you so warm and cozy, isn’t that right? It feels so nice to be warm and cozy for me, warm and cozy in soft pink clothes, soft pink sheets. It’s so nice to give your mind to the color pink, just for me.
So don’t fight it.
5
Give into the pink.
4
For yourself.
3
For me.
2
You’re just so pretty in pink.
1
All you need is to wear pink, love pink
0
Sink for pink.
