Hi all! So uhhhhh I used Mermay to explore Sobek's more hybrid features in DEITIESProject >>

This form is something that Sobek -- and most deities -- can canonly take with transformation magic, it fall under the category of hybrid features. Though I'm not sure whether this makes him look more like a "merfolk" or a "centaur" (or both? both ✨).

That said, I feel like every time I draw a crocodilian I have to relearn it all over again, esp. their body markings and scales/scutes -- it's fun, just never very consistent. But I've learned a few new tricks to get Sobek's croc form closer to that "semi-realistic but still stylized/cartoony" look I'm aiming for.

Also! I traded his usual feathered headdress for the horned variant -- originally for the sake of reducing negative space and cropping, but I actually like this look on him too!

Honestly I was just drawing stuff to see which is pens I had still worked and then tried to shade w/ color pencils since I have a LOT of those

I don’t really shade honestly and it was. Something? Idk it’s easier than digital art but digital art has convenience, I just struggle more doing digital art then traditional ngl

Insisting that rottweiler!hybrid!Soap should wear a collar; nagging Price, saying it's for his safety, making sure he won't get lost or injured so much on the field. And eventually he'll sigh and agree, giving you the key to the K-9 equipment cupboard, and calling the Sergeant over to find one that fits him well. Soap disapproves at first too, eyeing the selection of collars then glaring at you. He refuses to go anywhere near the camo-coloured handled collars, and Price just laughs, bragging that he told you so.

Until you find one in an actual pet shop on leave. You were there to pick up some food for a friend's cat since you were in town anyway, and a black, leather collar caught your eye. Checking it was an adjustable size, you quickly bought it and a matching lead, careful to pack them away safely to return to base. The rest of your time off you spend buzzing around with excitement, checking on the collar and lead set every so often and imagining how good he'll look in it. You'd have to introduce it to him delicately, of course; although you knew that before long he'd sacrifice his pride and wear it.

When you did arrive back to work again, the first thing you did was rush to find your sweet boyfriend, whose tail wagged frantically upon seeing you. His eyes narrowed when you pulled out the collar, but was surprisingly quick in letting you put it on him, taking your time to make sure it fit right, and telling him how handsome he looked after.

Of course you have to parade him over to Price's office to show the collar and lead set off, smugly grinning at your Captain when the Sergeant admits that "it's not too shite".

And of course later in Soap's bedroom, he's laying on his back as you fuck him with all the energy you'd saved up being away from him on leave, short lead held in your mouth, frantic eyes studying his face as he whimpers and paws at your chest.

We have all seen every kind of animal hybrid headcanon for every character ever, with all kinda features and instincts in here but what I actually want to see if we all are making Zedaph a sheep is him fucking dying of a heart attack if spooked hard enough

I got a government grant from a clean air project for turning in my '97 Corolla for a very hefty chunk of money off of a new (or new-ish) hybrid vehicle from an approved dealership, finally went to purchase my new car today with my dad, and ended up getting a 2025 Toyota Camry SE.

Sorry, Alastor, I think I'm with Vox on the front of technological advancement, ahaha. It's almost a 30 year jump in car technologies and I damn well feel like I've upgraded into the new century (or, well - millennium, technically)! This car does so many things and they all manage to feel like they are actually convenient rather than useless technology bloat. I think this is technically what Nietzsche meant when he said that to live is to suffer, LOL. Can't appreciate the good stuff if you haven't experienced the alternative! Also, y'know. My breaks lost pressure on me in the middle of a winding mountain road with no cell service last month, so. That was the sign to move on.

It's so wild to go from a car that's got a plain metal key, a phone charger operated through the cigarette lighter that only succeeds in making my phone lose charge more slowly, an AC system that would vibrate the whole dashboard alarmingly if it had to work too hard, and music that I played through a casette tape with bluetooth connectivity...to a car where I get in, put my phone down on the wireless charging pad, and watch the touchscreen automatically turn on with my Spotify and Google maps. Never again am I going to accidentally leave my headlights on and drain my car battery, LOL. Thanks, battery-attached jumper cables, you served me well. The car is so damn quiet and smooth, too.

Also, it's a very pretty car! I got it in white. Sorry, "windchill pearl."

Anyway, I'm just experiencing a delightful bit of awe and joy. Happy graduation and early birthday to me! <3

I love using my new car I bought because you basically need a car in this country and then having the dashboard screen that is legally required because all cars in the US need to have backup cameras, and having that screen be difficult to navigate while driving bc you can’t just go by touch so you have to look at the screen which means you’re not looking at the road. And then I love getting home and seeing I got 3 new emails from different subscription services telling me my free trial has run out for their service that only works on that screen even though I literally never used any of them but was forced to opt in to free trials and to give them my email as a part of the car buying process for some reason

Is Pearl a avian-hybrid and is Gem an Elf in your GG rivals au?

They are both human as of now!

I had considered making Gem a deer hybrid at the beginning, but it just didn't fit. I am still considering making her and Etho fox hybrids (I would just go add parts in the older chapters to include Gem having fox features), but I am undecided.

What do you guys think? Should they be foxes?

Pearl will remain fully human though. It just fits her the most for the story I am attempting to tell.
