Hi im several days late 2 reply but i hope its ok to send an ask ^_^ i am so so scared 4 season 2 you have no idea. season 1 had me gobsmacked stupified nonplussed rendered unresponsive to anything else for the following week partially bc im emotiomal and the rachel + baam plot had me So crazy and partially bc ToG is like insane in ways iv never seen b4. Part of me wants to read the manhwa so so badly so im prepared for the new season and dont get emotionally bulldozed but part of me wants to sit and wait. either way ive been religiously avoiding spoilers as best as i can. However Im indecisive i feel like reading the manhwa would be eye-opening but im similarly afraid to read it for fear of going crazy. I cant imagine what it wouldve been like reading ToG as it released i fear i mightve lost my mind by now if i had been into ToG since day 1. but im monologuing. Tldr. IM ABT TO KAGEXPLAIN TO YOU BUT ILL GET TO SETOMARY & HARUTAKA AT THE END and my hcs on their dynamics :3 but first let me tell u abt seto&haruka's and mary&takanes friendships. spoilers duh

in the sixth novel, haruka stays over at kenjirou's house for 1 week while he works on the game with him. there haruka meets ayano for the first time, and finds out mr tateyama has FOUR kids. despite haruka is pranked a little by these mysterious 3 siblings he never meets them directly. its rly funny cuz haruka's like can i introduce myself to them i mean im gonna be staying for a week. and ayano's like WHAT. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT. and harukas like ok damn i guess i wont meet them

but haruka DOES meet seto during his stay! its one of my FAVORITE chapters of the whole novel. this bit has a 2 page illustration cmon!!!!!!! SETOS HAMSTER BITES HARUKAS FOOT

ok erm anyway. chapter summary of seto&haruka's interaction: haruka went to buy some snacks at the convenience store at night, and when he comes in seto's hamster hanao BITES his damn foot!!!!!! (attacker shown on pic) seto rushes right over like NOOOO HANAOOO

haruka and seto share an awkward greeting bc seto wants to run away asap but haruka's rly desperate to meet him so he invites him to eat the free pudding he won at the grocery store and seto accepts. then they sit and chat while eating pudding :3

haruka invites seto to come to the festival, seto thanks him but says he cant bc he's bad with crowds and he also has a job interview for being a part time paperboy. he assures him his other siblings will show up (as we know, kido and kano do show up but haruka never knew they were ayano and setos siblings at that point!!!)

when seto starts talking abt this job interview he mentions his mom is dead. in that conversation haruka finds out about ayaka. idk about the original line in japanese, but haruka says "mr tateyama's wife is dead?" because of course from his pov the shock comes from his relationship with kenjirou. he feels rly bad that kenjirou acts all happy and normal at school while going through this. seto acts surprised haruka didn't know

haruka expresses sadness over being such a pain for kenjirou then, but seto says that's not true and that kenjirou talks about him all the time. *pretends to be normal about kenjirou*

seto reveals kenjirou called haruka his pride and joy while drunk, which makes haruka tear up. while drunk he also said he'd bring haruka over to make him be ayano's boyfriend lmao and seto says he and kano&kido freaked out about it and were like WE WILL PROTECT U FOR THIS GUY NEECHAN😡😡😡 WHICH IS LIKE. A LAYER OF CONTEXT TO A BIT THAT HAPPENS EARLIER IN THE NOVEL bc they give haruka A REALLY HARD TIME when he arrives and its basically implied they did this bc they were afraid he was gonna hit on ayano lol (jin jokes in his author's notes he literally wanted haruka to hit on ayano literally for shit and giggles but his editor was like dude this is ooc can you take this fucking seriously)

it's also implied seto read haruka's mind when he arrived and since haruka had been thinking of takane and being kind of... he was like her hair her eyes her lips etcetc he was just.... being a 16 year old about it. and seto assumed it was about ayano, told his siblings and there kano went in disguised as ayano to give haruka a piece of his mind. honestly read the sixth novel its hilarious idk if its cuz its a novel with all my faves but its one of the best erm anyways back to the pudding chapter

before seto goes his eye power activates and he basically almost collapses or something. haruka gets rly worried but seto is able to calm down and he leaves. i hc that in this scene seto found out haruka was dying. i dont have proof other than seto probably read his mind there. but i like the hc😄

anyways!! fast forward to the end of the eighth novel, seto (and mary and hibiya) are in the real world while literally everyone else is dead inside the daze. they make a phonecall because of reasons i wont explain and everyone is screaming into it trying to talk to the outside guys, and haruka has a single line where he says "kousuke its me haruka!!!!! remember when we had that pudding together 2 years ago!!!!" hehe its so cute im so glad jin added that

basically. haruka and seto BEST FRIENDS. when haruka is back post str he would be very comfortable with seto and seto would for sure approach haruka and hang out with him. i definitely think haruka's the closest to seto outside of the yuukei quartet!!! like come on theyd be such good friends🥺 i was thinking of harutaka cat last night and i 1000% think seto is the one to find them a pet. seto is always taking haruka to see cats

NOW!!! MARY&TAKANE!!! they definitely don't have as much interaction as haruka&seto bc jin would rather die than write proper scenes for his female characters alone However it is said they hit it off immediately when they meet! ene makes an unforgettable comment abt mary and momo being gay which mary doesnt understand and momo like a good kisaragi wants to kill ene. anyways thats a little funny one

ill talk what i remember the most! the fourth novel: shintaro wakes up and finds mary complaining she can't talk to ene and it turns out shintaro's phone has no battery. shintaro explains the concept of a Charger and Electricity and Mary's like whoa ene eats some weird stuff huh

so she starts looking for a charger. shintaro tells her not to hurry bc theyre better off without her anyways and mary gets mad at him and tells him to stop MEAN to ene!!!!! and says she must ALSO feel lonely in there!!!! and shintaro's like o_o!! ok damn!!!!

that's the only mary&takane i can think of. but they're really good friends i think takane's as much of a tease to her as she is to everyone but mary doesnt always understand LOL but they get along well :3 theyre besties :3 like for real mary momo & ene have a girl gang that could rule the world.

then mary finds some snakeskin in a drawer with the charger and shintaro and kido almost shit their pants etcetc BUT when mary got mad, shintaro has some rly cute thoughts about ene. he remarks how absolutely no one in the dan ever questioned what the hell is ene or how she works, bc theyre all weirdos so of course they dont question other weirdos(and one of my fave shinene lines, where shintaro admits hes developed an affinity for her and that it's because of her he met all these nice people and she might as well be his salvation *fucking explodes*) anyways. he thinks ofc mary and ene hit it off. i think its so cute that mary wanted to talk to ene and just took shintaros phone to do it!!

anyways. THEYRE ALL BEST FRIENDS :3 :3 :3 :3 setomary & harutaka double date is totally possible. and we should get seto&takane to be best friends too like i think theyd be sooooo funny together. i ALWAYS say when takane gets her body back there is no way she could walk so comfortably like she does and since seto (and kano) are there i hc seto carries her back to the hideout from the lab💥💥💥

1. I feel like RS shits on Artemis when I feel like she isn’t bad as everyone makes to be. When she meets persphone, her look on the pink goddess was she’s never had a chance to bend the rules or even live a little. She takes her to a party, let’s her meet her brother and their friend, normal stuff. She didn’t have mind powers to know what Apollo did, and she did try to apologize for upsetting persphone with a cake. I wouldn’t say the two are besties but she did try to help persphone best she could. And now Artemis is used to excuse Persphones genocide crime. 

2. Took them long enough to make Artemis' body like every other woman in the latest free episode wow such diversity 🙄

3. Hear me out, Apollo takes Daphnes hibernation to frame persphone as more of a nymph turning people into plants. We now have the whole cast know that’s what she’s capable of and unable to fix. Idk I just feel like persphone isn’t gonna face any consequence “oh community service gee golly sounds like fun” really deflated me since ya know persphone not only kill mortals but turned a nymph into a plant.

Hades said this was his domain to deal with yet he’s not gonna help out his ex gf who he witnessed turned into a plant after he wasted her time using her as a place holder. RS is afraid to give persphone any form of growth.

5. what i dont get is if rachel wants the endgame to be kids then why is adoption not an option? its not even brought up, there is only focus on biological kids. more so, and i HATE the fandom does this bc rachel is so easily swayed by them, but its always boys too? the only kids hades seems to have in myth (excluding the orphic ones) is either the furies (which cant happen in LO) or makaria, so daughters, but it seems the fandom and rachel care more to follow the male heir trope for some reason :/

definitely, definitely if mai was raised in a more healthy environment this would not have happened. i think jjk 149 really drove home the point that sexism, conservatism and bigotry against ppl w/o cursed energy kills. i mean really, if the zenin clan wasnt an ass towards toji none of this would have happened. anyway back to mai, if she grew up w/o all that mess of a zenin clan:

2. mai is, at her heart, a soft girl. she grows up in a house full of ppl crazy abt magic stuff and she's just like yeah nah not my stuff. she just wants to live peacefully with her sister doing whatever. i sorta headcanon that mai picked up a sarcastic and mean demeanor because she feels insecure, so she gotta put up a front to seem tough and protect herself. like

hate to agree with naoya here but he's right. mai has a cursed technique, a very badass one at that, but that cant reach its full potential if she's so physically weak and making just one bullet drains almost all of her energy. but anyway back to the point, if she's grown in a different, better environment, i think she wouldnt have to put up a tough demeanor.

AND if they were put in any kind of dire situation, like being stuck on an island w/ no way to access weapons mai would be able to make some while maki handles all other housekeeping finding food and shelter tasks. mechanics mai!! thoughts on episode 10

1. the episode confirmed who copied the song whom i already suspected 2 eps ago which was kinda... anticlimatic? like was it meant to be such a shock it was him??

2. jenna pulled out of a plan AGAIN just when things were solved?! like she covered his ass, literally had the best outcome for cotton candy, and then decided to not go through w it?? i know jenna's role in the story has for the past few episodes has increasingly just been to reinforce the premise of the story (no.1 and then disband) but it makes no sense when stuff is offered to them on a plate and she still refuses even though her plan is not the most beneficial to the members and especially nothing abt the plan is appealing to the company owners. like i GET that she gets the plot going but it feels too forced and i cant believe im saying this but i almost sympathize a bit w CEO Cha of all ppl bc hes so sick of her anthics 😭 most sympathizing w the director though like that guy has no clue whats going on nd gets the blame for what the other characters do kgdgmmscn

3. on a similar note it made no sense that CARA would be fine with a Cotton Candy member creating the result where MARS pulled out of a comeback to give Cotton Candy room for theirs and THEN the latter even dropping their plan?? sorry but that's unrealistic bc anti-fans r unhinged nd this is all the reason for them to stalk nd attack the girls again

1) so basically the premise in most of the games is like. you are a member (leader as of sr2) of a street gang (the third street saints!) and though the story is tweaked slightly for each installment, the overall goal is the same- control different neighborhoods in your city, squash the other gangs, be badass. i *call* it a grand theft auto clone but tbh i havent played gta, the gameplay's similar enough though. the first two games are more uhh... grounded? than the later 3? the plotlines are darker, deaths & events are more fucked up in a heavier/moral sense, etc etc. but the last 3 are way more silly i think. the entire series is kinda packed with crude/sexual humour and essentially responding to a punch with a flamethrower, but it goes over the top in the newer games which is.. why i always liked em lol.

but its just funny in general to think of the plot progression. oh i witness a gang war so im recruited in a gang whose current leader... wants to end gang violence. oh that leader tried to kill me and arrested/killed everyone else so i am going to go apeshit on this city until i find him and kill him back. oh somehow we are international celebrities and do crime as publicity stunts, i am gonna ask mayor burt reynolds to help us with this zombie invasion. oh now i am president of the united states, time to get the earth blown up by an alien warlord and do it with whats left of my gang every survivor plus an ai in a ball.

his role is actually pretty consistent in that he stays a lieutenant, and hes one of the rare characters (besides. the protag i think?) who's been in every single game. he's the designated badass of the saints and is really good at coming up with plans that involve lots of guns or blowing stuff up. if i typed everything i liked abt him right now this post would be a mile long but trust me he is an excellent man, even tho he might be the scariest motherfucker ever and i probably would be afraid of him irl, he fully deserves that. hes loyal to the saints and his boss which i absolutely respect. still bitter abt sr3 "killing" him bc cmon. he cannot die. does that count in the spoiler? its the literal first mission after u customize your character so i dont think so// whatever ive been posting untagged spoilers for the other games bc theyve been out for a decade

so my thoughts on endgame

yes this does contain spoilers and yes, i will continue to tag any of my spoilers as “endgame”

did i hate the movie? no. it had many very good moments that i will list before i list the problems i had with it

i LOVED all of the humor like they did that so well. like when steve was fighting his younger self and young steve says “i can do this all day” and now steve goes “yeah i know” in this just tired voice. and americas ass. and all of the jokes about rocket being a raccoon. and hulk taking pictures with the kids and then when rocket and hulk were sitting in the back of the truck. when tony threatened to sell all of morgans toys. korg playing fortnite. the whole scott coming back the wrong age bit. hulk having to walk down the stairs. when tony told steve that if he dropped the shield one more time he was gonna keep it. like there were so many parts that were just so funny and i loved it.

i loved all the tender moments. that little moment of friendship between nat and steve where she calls the avengers her family. i was SOBBING when tonys daughter was revealed and at literally every interaction between them. the fact that tony wasnt even going to build the time machine until he saw peters picture and thw fact that he had peters picture at all. tony telling nebula “you won” and her freezing bc shes probably never heard that before. the fact that both nat and clint refused to let the other one die (which was the truest form of love i have ever seen, not romantic but just genuine platonic love. also not that bullshit thanos called love for the very same stone). the moment when clint was looking around for his family and couldnt find them so he was just running back and forth not knowing what to do. im not even going to mention tony and peter’s reunion or goodbye because i was sobbing like a child the entire time. quill thinking for a second that gamora was back. when pepper told tony “we’re going to be okay” and you think she means the world and humanity but she really means her and morgan. the entire interaction between tony and his dad. there were so so many parts that just hit me so hard.

i loved all the heroic parts. carol showing up outside the ship with tony and nebula. steve standing up with his shredded sheild, still fighting on. the fact that steve can fUCKING WEILD THORS HAMMER LIKE BRUH. also that sick combo he did with the sheild and the hammer. the hail hydra moment because steve is so incredibly smart and knows how to work a situation. all of those bad ass women gathering to fucking destroy thanos. the circle opening up and revealing tchalla and shuri and okoye walking out, silhoutted by the light and the wakandan battle cry. the fact that the canons recognized that carol was the largest threat around and firing at the atmosphere to try and stop her and she just fucking rips through them like nothing. carol beating the shit out of thanos and him having to literally hold the power stone in his hand to beat her. that moment where you see all of the heros lined up ready to fight. “i am iron man”.

obviously there are more of every moment, and i loved all of them.

but.

that doesnt mean that i liked the movie. and heres why:

1) thor’s literal character assassination. i reblogged a few posts (that you can find in my endgame tag) that explain this better than i will be able to but bruh. the russo brothers did thor so fucking dirty and it makes me pissed. they made him fat purely for the laughs (which someone pointed out an emphasis on the fact that they literally edited his weight out of the trailers because they wanted to use it as a gag in the movies). also, they blatently ignored and made fun of the fact that thor OBVIOUSLY was grieving and blamed himself for how things had turned out. he has lost literally everything in his life: his home, his father and mother, his brother, his best friend - and now the man who wiped out half of the human population taunted him with his mistake of not going for the head. also, thor literally just went through the whole process of realizing his true power and sacrifing his home in order to protect his people and youre going to tell me that he just decides “mmm imma go to space and leave you all here youre fine without me” like no. also please read this post it makes me so mad its so true.

2) the whole time travel plot. to me it didnt seem well thought out and it leaves so many plot holes. like if removing a stone can create another timeline, i dont think putting the stone back fixes anything. you have still technically created another time line. and like what happened to loki we saw him disappear wouldnt that be another time line??? and like if 2012 or 2014 or whatever thanos came to the present, then wouldnt that create another time line?????? and if steve stayed behind, then thats a whole other time line. like it just doesnt make sense there are so many things that do. not. work. (sidenote: thanos said the infinity stones were reduced to atoms. wouldnt that be reversable by scott and shrinking down into the quantum realm??? this is just an idea)

3) it was predictable. there were SO many times that i was able to tell what was going to happen before it did. like clints family vanishing. and scott finding an older cassie. and scott being turned into a bunch of different ages. and tony saying no and then saying yes. even tony weilding the gauntlet was predictable (i just refused to think about it bc i didnt want to see tony die).

4) steve staying in the past. now im going to preface this saying that im not trying to say that steve didnt deserve it. he did and im happy for him (since this is what the russo brothers have decided to make permanent). steve did deserve happiness and i will even say that he deserved peggy. but. that doesnt mean thats what he should have done. it was out of character for steve (not as bad as thor but still out of character). he would have recognized that the world needed him in the now and he wouldnt have been able to just stay in the past. like steve’s biggest character flaw is that he cant just sit by and do nothing, he always has to act. so now out of no where he just decides that hes gonna screw over everyone in the present and stay behind. like he knows they just lost tony AND nat, two of the og avengers, and hes just gonna decide to leave them hanging without another person???? and hes just going to sit by knowing that bucky is out there being tortured??? ALSO i am absolutely not saying that any part of his talk with sam was unnecessary. i even love the fact that he gave the sheild to sam (black captain america is my shIT HELL YES I AM HERE FOR IT). but. there is no way that steve “even when there was nothing i had bucky” rogers wouldnt say anything to bucky. and i saw someone saying “well they obviously talked off screen” bitch i dont care there are probably thousands of off screen things that happen and thats why we have fanfiction. but the on screen stuff matters and steve just ignores bucky entirely?????? no he fucking doesnt the russo brothers are just afraid to encourage any more interaction between steve and bucky because they fear stucky fans. and im not even saying this as a stucky fan im literally saying it as a marvel fan who knows the smallest amount of steve’s character.

5) tony creating his worst nightmare. tony has said multiple times that he blamed his dad for leaving him and it only makes sense that he would fear having a kid and then leaving them alone. and the russo brothers did just that. they gave tony the life he always wanted and then ripped him from it, creating tonys nightmare at the same time. he has now subjected morgan to live a life like he did, without a father. now personally i dont think tony should have died. did i predict that he was since infinity war (bc of rdj’s contract ending and also it will be very difficult to continue the “next generation” with these huge figures still around), yes. and i know that its unrealistic for everyone to survive in war but so is fucking time travel and they pulled that card. idk i just dont like how they did it.

so overall, i think i loved a lot of the overall moments on film, its just that i didnt like the themes, messages, and character delieveries shown in the movie. im just gonna go watch winter soldier and ragnarok and homecoming and captain marvel and black panther and all the other Actually Good marvel movies.

Nov 2021

1 - PIS-PK with teh nabila @ kebon dalem. finished at 11. saw an SJS case that was initially told to be herpes. changed my bike brakes and oil (130k). Prof whatsapped me that a PPT that will be presented at 14 Nov was supposed to be submitted the day after tomorrow, also with abstract lol. felt anxious but chill at the same time (?). i also get to be alone at mess for a bit. it was raining. worked on Prof’s PPT. an unknown number called and it turned out to be hansel. of course people calls when sumn to do.  Bought double shot kopi soe low fat bcs i was afraid of falling asleep. it was rly acidic for me, and within a few gulps my stomach started reacting. slept at 12-1ish. 

2 - MTBS. bought kanayam for lunch, dinner (and spoiler alert 2mrw’s bfast). video called with kris in pkm. he called me again just as im about to rly finish this ppt. thank god i finished it. still had some energy to do abstract but i cant bring myself to do it. so i just slept. 

3 - did abstract in the morning. it took ~30 mins lol. but maybe i cant think as clearly the night before. BP. solid’s bukang arrived for some of us. i still have to do the revision for that pancreatic Ca ppt. i ended up reading some fanfic, yubisaki to renren and fell asleep. woke up at like 11:30 pm ish, with my stomach bloated til the point of pain. made myself some warm matcha latte. tri was also awake and she bought nasgor at like 1 am. did that revision but cant bring myself to finish it even thought i still have energy. i laid down and read killugon fic.

4 - fell asleep. had a bit of sleep paralysis in my hand. cooked spinach and egg in the morning. KIA today with bu mutiah. thank god its chill bcs i get to quickly finish that revision bcs Prof chatted me AGAIN omg i feel bad. with his emails this will be the 3rd time he reminded me. thankfully he’s super kind and patient, and i have to be grateful for meeting kind people in life. bought nasi kebuli with rabeg sapi for lunch, with chicken and telur balado for later. Tried croffle from Rumah Kalingga and i also bought frozen risol. the risol was quite fulfilling. the croffle did not have that croissant feature lol. 

5 - my dumb ass sent the wrong PPT to Prof, so i fixed it and sent what hopefully is the last one. Posyandu kb. dalem with bu vivi and bu ade. got free food for bfast and lunch hehe. stayed in mess. check in pwkt. Zoom with dr eva and kak rayhan. i need to pull myself togetherrr. bought 2 500ml coffee and bread from roti o for 39k lol. but i did not drink the coffee that day. i shouldve lol. i just slept

6 - mtbs today alone. ppl offered for me to move to BP but i love being alone and not having to interact lolll. tried to follow along to APICD webinar. attended bu ningrum daughter’s wedding with iship peeps in madison avenue, citangkil. drank rotio coffee to curb the sleepiness and managed to finish the word narration for Prof’s PPT in one sitting. fried the risol and frozen karage for dinner. suddenly had the urge to study lol webinars make me wanna study

7 - jogged a bit. saw stuff in CFD. originally wanted roti canai but it was full of queue so i only got kerupuk kulit. smelled the frozen chicken breast i bought ((i dont even remember WHEN)) and it smelled awfully sour and funky. so there goes my 20k. lesson learned: i dont even have the commitment to cook the food staples i bought myself,,,. APICD webinar. searched for kak tika’s package. ill try again 2mrw. bought wingstop. laid down while listening to webinar and i fell asleep in the important part of ECG :””” but managed to listen to the 2/3 rest of the total workshop. some caffeine sip to hopefullly give me courage. searched videos to put in Prof’s PPT. 

8  - searched the package from kak tika in KS. thankfully its there. kak tika gave me Al-Quran and chocolates. lots of chocolates. i hope i can read more quran. leftover wingstop for bfast at pkm. posyandu kotabumi (rly close to mess!) w teh yuyun. she offered a ngamen opportunity in klinik tri husada. afternoon nap. a looot of denial until i finally opened dr eva’s work again, trying to move things along. it takes a lot of thinking and staring into nothing. but i guess there’s some mental progress (?). accompanied by rotio hazelnut coffee. still cant help myself so i played cafe white noise by 4AM Around the World. it has that sbux vibe minus the coffee smell. got boxed rice from fitri yay. always grateful for free foods. kind ppl inspire me to become a better person

9 - poli MTBS accompanied by red candy. dr eva said i can go to the next chap and suddenly i feel reinvigorated lol. sent her the revision i did for the last paragraph. my head hurts and its probable asking for some cofveve lol. didnt do anything useful even though i shouldve

10 - posyandu tegal bunder with bu elisna. saw two underweight twin neonates. nasi kotak for lunch yay. dinner was sponsored by renata uyey. another coffee withdrawal headache. fell asleep while reading ff

11 - bfast is sponsored by bang esa’s wife. BP umum with bu ade. had nasi padang for lunch. talked about BL w nessa while we’re the only one upstairs lol. did some exercise together with ren ness. drank the last of my roti O coffee and shit you not, the headache vanished. did Prof’s PPT and sent one. 

12 - KIA with bu mutiah and bu imas. ate at RM bu mamak with bu ade, teh ayi, mendel. we all wore black top and jeans for hari kesehatan nasional, so we did some ‘photoshoot’ and tiktok creating at puskesmas lol. bought ayam bakar together with renata. 

13 - MTBS w mendel. met kak tania 2013 and her child who came for mantoux. turns out she lives in BMW. Prof called out of the blue and turns out there will be plenty of stuff that i have to make. juggled that call with meeting dr anita for my “ngamen” at klinik tri husada. ended the call with Prof in front of dr anita. Some introduction on the clinic. did not make it back to mess bcs its already 12 ish. hurriedly packed and showered to leave to jkt. waited for arimbi but a primajasa kb jeruk showed up so i tried that. attempted zoom with dr eva (in the bus) that ended due to terrible signal. it was raining in kb jeruk. ate seirockya extreme in puri. its goddamn delicious due to the cold hunger and fatigue. picked up a pepperoni pizza from pizza e birra. it rains when going to devi’s. met up with thal dajen lau racheel dev. played some games (splendor, sushi go, exploding kitten). ate martabak orins omg i miss it. slept over at devi’s place. 

14 - off to AR at 9-ish. when i arrived, grandma was sleeping, bou lia was showering, and the others are in living world lmao. showered and basked the silence. ate mom’s spaghetti. mom just laughed when she saw my hair. ‘listened’ to APICD while playing twitter. bou lia bought me matcha xiboba! assessed om amin bcs he’s having tremor. just lazed in the house, basically. lost my mood of going to bdg bcs mom said we will just go ‘pulang hari’. 

15 - off from home 5:33 and arrived at 7. mom made lots of frozen food that are ready to heat. posyandu with bu vivi in kebon dalem. there’s also reps from krakatau medika. lotss of laundry to do. so much that the machine can barely spin. read kaiju no 8. matcha latte. 

16 - posbindu w nessa bu elis teh dina. Te tekwan and bacang made by bu kader. Had a good nap in pwkt. Got fissure in my inner mouth and it hurts huft. Tried to finish PPTs with near dates so i can moveon to the next work. Slept at 12ish.

17 - BP with bu ade. Sent the PPT to Prof. Can finally relax for a bit. Exercised to pamela reif's vids. Ordered wingstop. Read some fanfic and fell asleep aaaa syit did nothing today. I shouldve started literature searching

18 - PIS-PK in tegal bunder with teh nabs (who didnt bring her motorbike so its a good thing i did). back to mess and had some nap and lunch. shareloc at purwakarta. tried kopsus from kopi baja. taste kinda weird but the music playing is bomb (kurosuke, sore, sal, and some other chill vibes that just make me more sleepy). tried to search some stuff for the proposal. off to klinik tri husada. teteh2 bidan were very kind and welcoming. nisa chatted me and she said it was ok for me to come with them in bdg so yay. immediately bought travel ticket. was given nasgor, martabak and rujak jeruk bali. 

19 - originally posyandu with teh Vivi, but it was cancelled so we went for home visit. It finished quickly yay. went to mess. relaxed, ate and packed. took maxim back to pwkt. nebeng zihan to go to damkar. took primajasa to jkt and read assorted wilderness along the way. waited for mom in puri and i bought jiwa toast (26k with gofood pickup) while waiting. arrived maghrib at home. zoom meeting w dr eva and kak rayhan. finished the assorted wilderness manhwa lol. fell asleep without even showering and still in my scrubs lmao

20 - showered. packed for bandung. left at 8 and arrived at almost 12. tried to finish up Prof’s PPT on the way. lunch at ibis trans studio. lamaran bang ido with teh ghina in buah batu. ate again there. rested in the hotel for a bit. ate at sangkan hurip 2, the same place as tafakur alam trip. it was as if there’s AC. back in the hotel at 10-ish pm and i got a room for myself. i laid there, sheet mask on. trying to relax and be grateful for the blessings in life. its really cold and cozy. 

21 - breakfast in the hotel. packed my stuff. lunch at kampung daun. checked in at papandayan hotel, 2 km away from ibis. the family swam except for kak owi, bang ido, nisa and me. i relaxed in the reclining chair, taking in the pretty sky and chilly wind. the girls and i went to braga (tried sweet cantina ice cream), cici claypot and primarasa. bang ido was calling us asking if we need to be picked up lol. 

22 - woke up at 5. prepared to leave. said goodbye. bang ido drove me to buah batu pool and waited until i can enter the Hiace. and then i left at 7. i was weeping on the way back thinking of kind people and great time and thought and contemplated that i wrote sumn on my tumblr. read love for sale on the way. arrived in mess at 12. it was raining a bit. tidied up my stuff. laid down and read Payback lol. napped. woke. ate. slept again. I should’ve did something productive aaaaaaaa its a constant struggle of mine.

23 - BIAS at sd purwakarta with bu sektah. injected 20 kids. finished at 10. cooked veggies and made matcha latte in mess. went back to pwkt. gave kue balok box to bu aroh. mendel and i made the poster for evapro cibeber. tried to get some progress on Prof’s S1 lecture

24 - BP umum with bang esa. bujing lia gojeked me janjiw matcha and toast. watched color me true. in denial to start dr Eva’s chapterbook. 

25 - MTBS today. watched Color Me True. Rested a bit. off to klinik tri husada. there was a patient with hyperglycemic crisis. did some work on dr eva’s book so there’s that. not gonna change the draft for now.

26 - BP umum w nessa. did laundry. ate superbubur alone in MTBS. zoom meeting with Prof and HCRC. evening stroll with renata in the hidden part of palm hills. supposed to do PPT but i ended up sleeping

27 - my throat hurts when swallowing huft. BP umum w nessa again. watched The Witch. basically just laid down and slept. ate indomie. still havent started Prof’s PPT

28 - cannot bring myself to do my sunday run. finally pulled myself together and showered. basically started the day at noon lol. off to jannor. it was raining there. pulled some decent progress. went back when the rain stopped but it turns out it rains in simpang. continued the ppt. ok a liiittle bit more to go. 

29 - KIA w bu sekta (who i wrongly thought was bu mutiah). asked for MP at pharmacy. got to finish the rest of the (eng) ppt. sent it to Prof. kanayam for lunch. napped again in mess. started translating the ppt to indo. it was a lot huft. finished it at 10-ish. continued the second half of The Witch. 

30 - MTBS w bang esa. home visit with teh erlina to the twin babies i checked at posyandu a while back. one of the baby passed away last night. tried driving manual again with bang esa’s car. he was a patient instructor lol. duplicated the mess key. seblak for dinner to scratch my throat. i should’ve done something useful today but its a chatty night and suddenly its 8 pm lol. have to sleep a bit early.

While You Were Sleeping Review~

Honestly.. I think I’ve forgotten everything I’ve wanted to say at this point, and I should seriously just take sticky notes with me everywhere from now on just so I can jot down notes of what I liked and disliked about the dramas I watch. Sigh. But I’ll try to remember what I can and tell you all about it, because I love telling stories. Spoilers ahead, just a warning!!

Ok so honestly the most ridiculous thing I remember happening in the drama was literally like.. Jongsuk being shot and dying……. And then when he’s like flatlining, he says “no. i must live… to tell hong joo im sorry” and i was like omfg bruhHH if that actually happened like irl LMAOOOO

That was like one of the things I knew I really wanted to talk about. There was also one other thing that i was like mhm… on but i forgot what it was so. It doesn’t matter. Unless i remember. Then it DOES matter LMAO

Can we also talk about Mr. Choi? :(((((((((( literally wtf like dude i liked him but i literally was so soooo sad when he died LIKE WTF THAT WASN’T FAIR WTH WHY DID YOU HAVE TO KILL HIM HE DIDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING WRONG T___________________T my heart hurt when he died. that was so cruel. I’m grateful he saved jaechan and hongjoo. Im sad he didn’t reveal himself sooner. He played such an important role in jaechan’s life, mostly jaechan, because i dont remember much about hongjoo and him besides that one moment at yubeom’s trial.

On that note, Yuboem deserved that life sentence man. I was like oh god what if they like.. Make him do like 20 years, that’s not even enough to make him pay. He was horrible, absolutely horrible. Honestly I wanted to go in there and punch him like jaechan almost did but gosh DARN it Mr. Choi had to step in and say ‘hey, it’s not a good idea’ and T________T he seriously did whatever he could. I totally wasn’t even expecting him to be the one from so long ago, but when the scenes from earlier in the drama came back up again, all the puzzle pieces fit together and it made SENSE. I was like ‘omfg thank you Mr. Choi, for being there for them, for doing whatever you could for Jaechan and Hongjoo, you are the REALEST.’ such a wonderful human being. And he knew how he was going to die too, ugh. UGH. UGH UGH UGH. NO. im still sad.

Now i’ll get into the characters LOL

Jaechan: i love lee jongsuk. Like idek what else to say. I just love him. He’s really tall but with great height comes great awkwardness and omfg. I loved his dorky character sooo much. He is literally my baby and forever will be my baby even though he’s like.. So much older than me idek. He’s 8 years older than me rip. Still my baby tho. Lov u. OMFG IS HE SUNGGYU’S AGE? WAIT SUNGGYU IS OLDER THAN HIM? AM I WRONG? Tell me im wrong. Im RIGHT? By a few months.. Anyway it doesnt matter bc they’re both still super cute and im melting rn dont mind me. This was pointless i didnt even talk about jaechan. I loved the fact that he became a prosecutor because his dad told him to, i love the fact that he became rivals with his old childhood tutor who left him in the dust after that motorbike incident, and i love the fact that he looked over everything just to make sure he didn’t miss a single spot. Yubeom tried to be like ‘oh, you will all fall like me, i slipped up but i just got caught. When you get caught, you’ll be in prison with me’ and jaechan was like ‘nah son, you literally brought this upon yourself. You tried to make the wrong answer the right one and it didnt work out. Ur not unlucky. You’re just bad. *drops mic* *crowd cheers* *happy ending for all* *and a fkc you i mean life sentence to yubeom*’

Yubeom: ROT IN HELL. I am forever shaking my head and tsking at him for LIFE. he honestly deserved that life sentence idgaf. Like.. how evil can you get? Man.. my brain hurts im not in the mood to be angry at this fictional character. Good job person who played the character. Whats his name. Lee Yangseob. Good job on making me hate you, you despicable Yubeom you… good job at acting….. I still hate u…

Hongjoo: suzy is so amazing. Dude like despite her having those kinds of dreams at the start, she still tried really hard to prevent them from happening, and it was so horrible. Like i would literally be afraid of falling asleep or smth like that. Also why was it almost always death? Like i guess it added to the drama but omfg if i saw myself die in a dream and i knew at some point it would come true like...idek man. Wouldn’t you get traumatized by it? Like ‘crap all these people are dying and i cant do anything about it’ DUDE!! Jaechan even told her to forget about it but then he was still unnerved by it too omfg. In this case, it worked out because they all tried saving each other and stuff but what if they didn’t know each other? What would’ve happened then? I hope hongjoo would’ve still been able to go on and become a reporter or something like that. If not a reporter, then someone who went and told the news from those desks and stuff. But i guess she liked being on the scene more, who knows. Im just blabbing at this point idek what im saying. I do but im lazy to backspace sigh.

Wootak: :((((((((( my honeybunch sugarplum, pumpie umpie umpkin… he’s literally so adorable. I loved the fact that he tried to fit all the puzzle pieces together and jaechan was like nah that can’t be… hongjoo wasn’t chestnut (son… wootak’s detective skills i stg. He’s amazing. No wonder he stayed in the police force for so long dang) I knew he wouldn’t be able to get hongjoo so i was just like it’s ok, i will give u my heart instead ok. Even though i also love jongsuk, i have enough love to give to u all. Im glad he didn’t become one of those ‘I WANT THE MAIN GIRL CHARACTER’ person like im so tired of it lol but he was a sweetheart from beginning to end. Honestly when he was like ‘stick to a secret to the end’ and hongjoo was like hm… what’s his secret? I was like oh my god. Did he kill someone???? What if he killed someone and became a police officer to make up for it? Wtf BUT THEN he just turned out to be color blind so i was happy with that. I didnt know you couldn’t be a police officer if you were colorblind omfg. The more you know. But seriously :( such a sweetheart. I love that despite crushing on hongjoo, and knowing that jongsuk really liked her too, he 1) didn’t get in the way of their relationship, even though he honestly COULD HAVE, and 2) he didn’t hold anything against jaechan. Maybe it’s because he saved him from dying, idk. But i loved their friendship so much. I would love to have Wootak as a friend. I felt so bad for him when he told his police partner that he had been carrying the weight of that for so long, but think of how much relief he felt when everything spilled out. It’s hard to keep secrets, because it’ll eventually fall apart. We’re not superhuman… talking to you wootak, wearing those batman clothes… secretive.. But still fighting for what’s right. Im glad he went on the path to become a lawyer after quitting his police job. I hope he continues to spend time with his police partner though. I wish there was more interactions between them and also between wootak and jaechan, i loved them both so much.

Anyways, i think this has gotten long enough… overall, i’d say this drama is really nice. I really liked it, even though at like a few parts i was like dude… this is extra and not needed. But honestly, the characters were amazing, especially yubeom. Idk how yangseob could pull off a character like that, but he was amazing. OMG I REMEMBERED WHAT I WANTED TO SAY. I really liked the idea of having your dreams come true… in some kind of twisted way, maybe not so much… but still, it was interesting, and i was waiting to see what would happen next. I would recommend it if people like these kinds of AUs i guess. I liked that the love triangle was less… like less. Idk how to explain it. But i also really liked the plot and how everything came together and clicked. Im sure there are some things that i’ve overlooked or smth, things that i probably didn’t realize needed more clarification, but it was still nice. I was also surprised at the two prosecutors getting married xD that was nice. A nice plot twist. That’s a random addition but i wanted to include it :P
