SPOILERS IF U HAVEN'T WATCHED THE LATEST TUBBO STREAM AS OF TODAY (Feb 21, 24) JUST SO U KNOW !!!!!! I will summarize these massive paragraphs in the points at the very end in a sort of timeline order that I can think of for this so gonna start off this rant talking about how the timeline makes absolutely no sense at all

So there was some sort of ancient thing from "long long ago" or something and they went to get the remains of it because for whatever reason that was gonna help to bring q!Tubbo back

also Creation was built by Tubbo to protect the eggs(? or atleast thats what its doing rn) (mainly Sunny I assume but could've originally started building it for Chayanne and Tallulah) after it was built it was given instructions I guess on what to do in case of certain situations such as him being gone in any way etc etc

but if Tubbo erased his memory (we'll come back to how that doesn't make sense as of now, later) of building Creation, then he must have already been given Sunny by the federation in order for him to have been able to put her as rank 1 on the list (because of course, he erased his memory of Creation, so he couldn't have gone back and changed it later)

Creation had been originally built "long long ago" (during the time of said ancient thing from earlier, some sort of order or something? we don't really know (double parentheses, crazy I know, but keep in mind that order could also potentially mean like "given an order" as in something it was told to do previously)) so was Creation originally built for something else? and then his purpose was changed to protect the eggs after that? Well then that implies Tubbo knew Creation existed during his time on Quesadilla island up until sometime after he got Sunny (I've seen some people talk about time travel theories about what I just said but im not gonna get into that cuz its a whole lot, im just saying what we know and adding a tiny bit of theories into it)

He joined an Operation at some point also? Im assuming during the long ago ancient era or whatever but like bro these are too many words to remember

So "the old order" and "the operation" are most likely 2 separate things as Creation doesn't typically use multiple names for one thing

So he made Creation before he joined the operation as a "last effort to hold on" and he did all that "very very long ago before the island looked like what it [does] today"

last effort to hold on makes me think like, as in someones dying? like Creation is his last chance if he comes close to death (which based on what we've seen makes complete sense)

anyways enough of confusing timeline stuff for now, time to get into whats going on with Tubbo specifically

Personally I though he might've been a robot, and I still believe that to be true despite information we've been given I feel its sort of a really badly kept secret on Creations part, it keeps sort of slipping up in its wording, forgetting saying things like "he will be shut off for good" is not the typical word use for humans(?) (things that are alive ig)

Because bro like you cant just drop "he was never alive to begin with" (he said talking to Phil) and like...... do anything else with that???? If something was never alive, it was never alive, like I dunno what else Tubbo could be without never have been alive?? It could've been an exaggeration or meant to be more like "he was never alive since the day you met him" instead of never alive at all

besides that, getting back to the "he erased his memory about specifically Creation existing" point not making sense, that is also why I think hes a robot still, cause how else would bro be able to just grab a specific memory from his brain and delete it??????

PLUS THE NEEDED DATA TO BRING HIM BACK HOW, WHO, WHERE, WHAT, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU NEED DATA TO REVIVE SOMEONE WHO WASN'T A ROBOT??

also just gonna add in that on the original Creation stream (Niki's stream) he says something along the lines of protecting all the eggs except the one that isn't actually an egg or something Just wanna say that I think this is referring to Tubbo because yeah, he was always jokingly treated as an egg with cookies and everything and then towards the end he only had 2 lives just like them and Creation never protected him cause (A) he wasn't actually an egg and (B) Tubbo can't know he exists, so even if he wanted to protect him he couldn't either that or it was code flippa but whateverrrr :P

anyways thats the end of that for now until my brain goes crazy again

Tubbo made Creation before he joined "The Operation" (don't know what Creation was originally built for)

he did all that "very very long ago before the island looked like what it [does] today"

At some point he was frozen in the ice prison after this (we don't know for sure if he still has his memories of before this at this point, but most likely does for this to make sense (unless time travel maybe but we don't talk about that))

After meeting everyone and getting close with the eggs (specifically Chayanne and Tallulah) he starts changing the purpose of Creation to protect the eggs

Not long after this hes given Sunny by the Fed

He then completes Creations new purpose by putting in the ranking system (he would've had to have met Sunny before this or it doesn't make sense)

Then he deletes his memories (somehow lmao) of Creation

Creation is most likely shut down and hidden away somewhere, set to only activate if needed (dunno what these reasons he would've given Creation would be but one of them was definitely if he went missing/died or something)

PLEASE HELP A COLLEGE STUDENT WITH THEIR SURVEY

Hi!! I'm a college student working on my senior project which is about Baldur's Gate 3 and choice! I'm interviewing a few friends but I would like to get a larger sample size so if you could take my google form it'd really help me out!! Thank you so much!!

This covers specific choices in the game (described vaguely), opinions about and how you make decisions.

My own example survey answers are under the cut!

Did you play as yourself, or were you portraying a character? If playing as a character, how much did your character’s views and decisions align with your own? (If you have played multiple characters, answer for multiple)

I play characters! They both stay on the good person side of things because I feel bad being mean to the characters and my heart cannot take an evil route. I could barely live with my sins after my durge, Euphie, got caught for murder. Sera (tav) aligns more with me since she’s genuinely very kind, a bit too much for her own good, while Euphie is playing good person but they aren’t perfect, more willing to take and ask for payment and occasionally act a bit selfishly or quip a bit rudely depending on who they’re with.

What was your philosophy for creating a character? (If playing as yourself, how did you model your character after yourself?)

I wanted characters that would have a fun narrative and be enjoyable for me to play, which meant sticking with characters that would skew more towards the good side of things

Seraphine: She was my first character, I wanted someone who was going to be nice to people and heroic. I developed her as I played and got a handle on her in act 1 as someone trying to help everyone she can because she had her life saved as a child, and wants to pay it back. I also played with the fact that Tavs do not have personal quests as that she is struggling with being thrown into a leadership position and fighting as someone without much experience in either and wow all my friends have these insane problems my issues with my sorcery powers feel very small in comparison. Her issues with her powers and being defined by them came from a Sorcerer-exclusive scene of distress when approaching the Susur tree in the Underdark.

Euphie, my Dark Urge, was formed from my desire to play with someone trying to be a good person who believes they are not a good person, telling a lie of heroism to others as much as themself. I knew information about the Dark Urge playthrough and I wanted a messed up little creature to play with.

How do you go about making decisions in Baldur’s Gate 3? What influences your choices? What do you prioritize? 

I make my decisions mostly based on my characters and what I think they would think is the right thing to do, but I do also take my own opinions and feelings into account of what I think a good option is that will also work out well. 

How do you go about making decisions in your everyday life? What influences your choices? What do you prioritize? 

I try to think through all the possibilities and figure out what’s going to work out the best - while I do consider my own interests sometimes I end up putting the interests of others above myself of what would be better for them, even if it’s not necessarily the best for me. I try to prioritize what I think is going to work out the best, but sometimes I struggle with it.

Tell me about a choice in real life you recently made.

In my directing class, they needed someone to be flexible since it seemed we were losing one actor and someone would have to either direct a monologue or I would have to team up with someone and we split directing a scene. The classmate didn’t really want to split the scene, so I agreed to do the monologue to make things easier for everyone else. 

In act 1, did you side with the grove and tieflings or the cult of the Absolute? Why?

Both Sera and Euphie went with the grove/tieflings! This is admittedly one of my boundaries where I would feel too terrible about killing everyone when I like them and I cannot handle disappointing and killing Wyll and Karlach. My heart cannot take it. But both of them wanted to do the obvious right thing in the situation, though Sera was more motivated by helping the tieflings when, as a tiefling, she understands some of their struggles and wishes to stand by her people - though obviously she wanted help with a cure. Euphie had more desperation towards help and a cure because her worse condition (dark urges) she was still clinging to hope were also caused by the tadpole. 

If you chose the grove, did you do the exploits for recruiting Minthara or utilize the official methods allowed in Patch 5 and beyond? Why?

Yes, in Euphie’s playthrough. She seems like a really interesting and fun character from all I’ve heard about her but my heart cannot take siding with her in act 1. I wanted to get to know a new character and experience something new

In act 2, what did you choose to do in Shadowheart’s confrontation with Aylin? Why?

Sera did an uncharacteristic thing at first in trusting her, as they were very close and she believed in her good heart, even though she was incredibly worried as a Selunite. She advised her towards sparing Aylin to learn the truth about herself, but was incredibly relieved to have a convincing way to turn her away from it. Admittedly I also wanted to see what would happen if I just trusted her when I saw that option.

In act 3, did you choose to break Wyll’s pact or leave it intact? Why?

I HATED THIS ONE. MIZORA YOU PETTY BITCH. Please excuse my visceral response, this is the decision I am most opinionated on. I struggled a lot with this decision, especially since you’re not really given an opportunity to ask Wyll what he wants to do before advising him either way on something that has such a strong impact on his life. I ended up deciding to break the pact, because staying in it would be subjecting him to a terrible fate for the rest of his life, and Sera cares much more about Wyll and his well being than his father, the city will have to get along without him. She also had bias in dating Karlach, hating Mizora and devils in general. 

(This is also exactly why I picked it, it was the choice that hit the hardest since it really is a lose-lose situation)

How do you feel about the options Baldur’s Gate 3 gives you for decisions?

I like that they tend to make me feel informed about the decisions and give me a variety of options without having an overwhelming amount. I

Do you think about the game’s choices when you’re not playing?

Occasionally, after I’ve made a more difficult decision or left one to sit for a bit. Normally not a significant amount, but I’ve done a lot of thinking about them because of my paper.

Were there any decisions you made, decided you weren’t happy with them, and reloaded to change them? If so, why?

In Euphie’s playthrough, I chose to hide Alfira’s body, passed, and then realized no one was going to say anything about it, even asking where she went or acknowledging her being gone, so I decided to let them get caught on purpose. I hated living with my sins but it was a more interesting character moment. 

Were there any choices that were particularly difficult for you?

WYLL’S PACT I had such a terrible time being confronted with the lose-lose situation of it and no option to try to get Wyll’s input like you usually can when making decisions for companions. It was a major “wow look at these options! Sera would not say any of them.” and I literally just sat there, complained to my friends on discord, then closed the game and went to bed. I could not deal with that right now. 

Shadowheart’s parents also was one I felt really bad about and that’s a decision I regret and have genuinely thought about changing cause I do kinda wanna replay act 3 - on the surface it feels like a similar situation to Wyll’s of choosing between freedom and being bound forever but it feels more like letting the abuser win and I don’t like it for her. Plus her parents being around would make Sera feel better about leaving her behind to go to Avernus, but I wanted to finish up and I’d already had to redo some stuff and didn’t want to redo more.

How decisive are you in real life?

Not very decisive! I hate important choices and they stress me out! I have an easier time when it’s something like picking the perfect Squishmallow to buy because I can look at all of the options and there’s no time limit and it’s inconsequential but things that concern life and money and my future feel paralyzing

AN: I want to switch it up for who I write for and step out of my comfort zone. I’m only on season two so things may be a bit off. Heavy on platonic!Maze because I love her. This is LONG! I got very carried away but has fun!

LA is expensive, but at least you had a job. That paid well, leading you to work at LUX 

Bartending was more complicated than expected, and the long hours almost made it not worth it. But your coworker/supervisor (?) was great (she drew in most of the tips, but always split them 50/50 with you), and the pay was amazing. 

Not to mention your boss. Charming and handsome with an amazing accent. You would never admit it to him but you looked forward to seeing him and whatever suit he is wearing at the time. 

You thought the constant flirting would become old, but it never seems to cross too many lines. He was especially delighted when you started to flirt back, even if it was just to kill boredom on your shifts. 

You were slammed tonight, silently cursing the fact that it was only ever you and Maze working behind the bar, trying to get drinks out as fast as you could. Moving in almost a synchronized dance, you managed to work around each other, with Maze tossing you a wink when she sees a good-looking customer. 

“Tell me, love, what does your heart desire?” your boss asked, leaning against the bar, trying to catch your eye. 

You slammed the full glasses on a tray before glaring at him.

“For you to bring this to table twelve, please” 

He reached across the bar to gently hold your chin, forcing you to meet his eyes. 

“Deepest desire?” 

“Table twelve. And…” you bit your lip, dragging your eyes down to his lips, before lowering your gaze before the bar occupied your line of sight. You noticed Lucifer was taking your bait hook, line, and sinker before bringing your gaze back up to him. 

“A raise” you finished, watching his face fall. He took the tray for you, grumbling under his breath. 

Eventually, you were able to see what it was like to be one of the girls on his arm. 

Wearing an outfit Maze called “stupid hot”, men and women were dropping double the tips they usually would and doubling the attention they paid to you. 

Unfortunately, when you were making your way back to the bar after saying hi to a group of friends, a hand grabbed your wrist. On instinct, you yanked your hand back, whirling around to face the man who grabbed you. You craned your neck, looking for Maze or any other excuse to run. 

“I have a boyfriend” you snapped, relying on the old excuse to get him to leave you alone. 

“Dressed like that? No boyfriend would allow anyone to leave the house dressed like that” he sneers. You frown, not sure if that was an attempt to flirt while insulting you. 

You tensed, feeling two hands placed on your shoulders, before relaxing when you heard a familiar British accent in your ear. 

“What are you saying to my partner?” he said, words polite but dripping with venom. You rolled your eyes as your insulter floundered, trying to reply to Lucifer. 

Lucifer took a step forward, placing his body in front of you while keeping one of his hands on you.

You didn't even hear the conversation, mind occupied by the hand he kept on your exposed skin, until he turned back to you, moving his hands to your shoulders. 

“Are you okay?” Lucifer asked, seriousness in his voice. You nodded, before seeing Maze follow your insulter to the exit. 

Still!!!!!! You didn't make a move past the playful work flirting. The flirting continued but you were trying to make him work for it, flirting constantly and teasing him with your clothes and flirty touches. 

Once when you were trying to move a keg by yourself, your holding slipped, a shocking sounded pop, followed by pain

You cradled your arm, returning to the bar to get any bartender to help you

Telling Lucifer and Maze what happened, they gently made fun of you for having such a fridge human body. You insisted that your fine work, until a bartender accidentally bumped into you and you cried out in pain

Without your knowledge, your boss was developing feelings for you too. Not that he could have put such a fine point on them. Instead, he was just trying to get you in his bed, but night after night and day too, instead of just as a one-night stand

Maze was ready to kill you, tired of hearing you whimper when your arm flared up that night

Believing her lie that Lucifer had a while pharmaceutical cabinet (with standard painkillers) you went up to his penthouse to get some to help with the rest of your shift

Under the tense of figuring out what is wrong, Lucifer rubbed your shoulders and back. To your surprise, his hands felt nice

A small moan escaped your lips, and you leaned into his touch. You had no idea what he was doing but his hands felt like heaven. 

“I never thought I’d hear those sounds from you, love” he murmured, face close to your ear. 

You could barely piece together what he was saying, lost in the sensations from his hands. You let out a hum, trying to think of something to say 

“Don’t stop” you murmured, cursing yourself for not returning to work and then for saying the first thing that popped into your head

“Or that, sweetheart”. 

You have sex right then and there. It wasn’t like you imagined because of the hurt shoulder, but Lucifer (and his all-knowing ways) managed to make it work

Neither of you want to get out of his bed after. Lucifer manages to pull himself away from your side to get you both a drink

You rest against his headboard, watching him move around his apartment in his black silk bathrobe, silently admiring his body while he poured himself a whiskey and fixes you a drink (alcoholic or non), before bringing it to you

He doesn't know how to say that he wants to see you again naked in his bed, so he drags out his time with you now. 

Before you finally leave his penthouse (much later than if you worked your shift),  he asks if he can see you again

You roll your eyes and tease him by telling him that you're working tomorrow at HIS club

After some back and forth, (and him remembering a conversation with Agent Decker) he tells asks you out for dinner, saying to dress sexy and he will pick you up in his convertible. 

Spoiler alert: you don't make it to dinner. You ALMOST have sex in his car, before scrapping dinner and going to his penthouse.

Many early dates end like that

I feel like Luc is sacred of new feelings about you so he falls back on old patterns, like sex. Not that you’re complaining too much, but it would be nice to go an a date outside his penthouse

Even when activities go past sex and are actual date activities, you still don’t put a label on it

It’s after Decker walks in on you in various stages of undress in his penthouse that she refers to you as “your significant other” the next day to Lucifer

It is only after then you both talk about feelings and decide to be an official couple 

Okay, 1283 words in and NOW it is dating headcanons… (I just love him so much)

His hands are constantly on you. On your waist, hips, arms, shoulders you name it, no matter what you are doing

I have this cousin who I am in good terms with, and I’m seriously considering asking her connect her credit card with my social media, so she gets the money, and later pays me back with physical ones

Clearly, that plan is dangerous, first, I dont know how will she react, and, independently if she accepts or not, she would tell other adults or not (the thing I’m most worried about)

And in any scenario, she will want to see how I’m getting that money, and, I barely show any info about my ocs, only doodles and that rancid mv, bc I don’t want my ideas to be stolen, AND IM SO FUCKING RESERVED

and the only stuff I could make money of is that motion picture that won’t premiere until October, the future MVs and what I’m making here at tumblr

The only reason i need that money is for publishing my books (actually all the stuff I publish about my ocs it’s promotion to those), bc publishing a book obviously isn’t cheap, and at this point I only have like 93 dollars. 💀

And i want to publícate them until I’m 18, so nobody keeps that money until I’m and adult.

And anyways who cares about a tumblr artist with no budget? My cousin goes to college and I almost never see her.

hey so im attempting to code a character maker with python. all of the tutorials online are focuesed on like, d&d text generator or whatever, but im attempting to make a picrew-like thing. pleasssseeeee any help would be fantastic as im like an absolute dumbass at coding.

player week prompt 1: "We're old friends. From her school days."

rating : gen, no major archive warnings i believe

characters: carmen sandiego, player(makes sense), and vera cruz. mentions of julia :)

disclaimer: i don't usually write stories so this is probably really bad im so sorry

Player squinted at his phone, double checking that the address was right. He ignored that this was the fifth time he'd done this, and that it was most definitely the right address. 

After all, it was probably best to make sure that the orphanage where your best friend found their mother was the right one, since, y’know…it’d be kind of awkward to just go up to a random lady and be like, “Hey, I know your daughter” and have her not know which one you were talking about. 

He took a deep breath and smoothed his hair anxiously, still not ready to even ring the bell. He was possibly about to meet Carmen’s mom for the first time in the at least ten years he’d known Carmen, sue him. 

A couple of kids in the yard looked at him weird. Player did his best to ignore them, still extremely nervous.

Finally, his shaking fingers rose to ring the doorbell. The sudden ding! of the doorbell sound made him wince.

A pretty woman with hair the color of the red-brown soil appeared at the doorway, her eyes crinkled. 

“Hello. Who are you?” she asked.

Player fumbled for a second, then replied, “Uh, my name’s—---but you can call me Player. I’m…a friend of Carmen?”

“Oh! You must be the boy she talks about in her stories, then? How do you know her?” Carmen’s mother asked. While she seemed perfectly friendly, Player noticed the slightly hostile undertones in her voice. He approved. That wariness had probably kept her and Carmen safe when Carmen retired for a bit.

“We’re old friends. From her school days. Uh, but, I’m not part of VILE. Sorry,” Player said, automatically using his usual excuse before realizing that it would likely not go over well with whatever Carmen had told her mom.

Before either of them could say anything more, Carmen appeared behind her mother. 

“Player!” she exclaimed, seemingly excited to see her old friend. Player put out a fist and the two fist-bumped. 

“Didn’t expect to see you here, Red,” Player joked, and Carmen winked.

“Decided to go on vacation for a bit. You caught me a couple days before I was going to go meet Julia at her college, actually!” Julia had worked at ACME for a few more years before deciding that the siblings had it under control. Chief told her to do whatever made her happy, so she went back to being a professor. She was somewhat of an Oracle, helping out with cases from behind the screen.

“Come in, it’ll be better than standing out here,” Carmen urged, and Player smiled, stepping into the home that his best friend had found.
