It Had To Be You

Before I get into my big explaining rant, reblogs are very much appreciated! I know this is usually a rant blog but when I spend so long on a drawing I want to have people see it and stare at it like I do LOL

Also for the ALT text, a lot of the details are going to be explained below so if you’d like extra details please read!

So, my designs! I really hate Husk’s design; as in I hate drawing it. It’s too red and tiny for me, Husk is very orange and round to me, he’s like a really chubby cat that you flip over in the bed and smack their belly and kiss em. He also kinda reminds me of Tigerstar from Warriors but like if he was a more morally correct person. Kind of. I removed all of the red from Husk and replaced it with little motifs of orange and brown like in his ears, his eyebrows, wings, and the little patch on his snout. For his wings I tried to base them around a Brown Thrasher because they fit the colour I needed and they’re very defensive birds which is a trait I’d like to see in Husk more. Seeing him protecting others with his wings in Episode 8 was a very cute touch and I want more of that. Oh and the little orange bit on his snout was based on one of my old cats named Whiskey and I thought that was fitting cause yknow. Whiskey. 🥃. Also it’s cute!

Part of Husk’s orange colouration also falls under some inspiration I received from @bluehazardanonymous whom you may see on my blog again. But they sent me a very interesting colour chart and it made my brain go funny

Husk’s design has a lot of orange, yellow, and small hints of red like his undone bowtie and hat band/ace of hearts card. The orange for gluttony is mostly related to alcohol and such, meanwhile the yellow in his eyes, shirt patch, and on the button on his hat are to show greed from things like gambling and possible leftovers from being an overlord. I don’t think you can just go from being all powerful to some random bartender and NOT have some kind of thirst for power right???? That also bleeds into the red parts (haha cause blood red) to keep his design on the warm side and have a little bit of anger in there.

His clothes are also supposed to look a bit sloppy and kinda sad cause I mean. He is. But they are also all relatively formal items of clothing. By the way I’m never drawing this guy shirtless, sorry you need to beg and pay for that/j

Now for Angel. With Angel being pink-ish and how I usually draw the rest of Hell, I try to make Hell more gross looking and greenish/sickly, generally unpleasant, so that Angel is more eye catching and pops out more like a celebrity would. A lot of the cast in my head is more orange/maroon coloured, not a lot of pink or salmon colours. Of course pink is under lust on the colour wheel, but I personally don’t like chalking Angel up to just his job, nor do i really like using “true” pink. I always keep him in this range:

Also that white is not for him it’s for other things, I always make him a cream-ish colour. I like pink with red undertones always, especially for Angel. It shows his job very blatantly if you take a simple glance at him, but if you’re nuts like me and colour pick from these that I use, you’ll see a lot of them are closer to red, rather than the bright pink-ish-purple colour for lust. And also closer to his original more purple design!

I think it goes without saying that Angel has a lot of pent up anger and frustration that he hides with his persona and humour, and I think trying to show some of that in his colours is a lot more interesting than just haha pink gay spider. I dunno.

Also I thought these little cowlick flip thingies on the side were really cute

I was originally going to make the sign in the back purple since that’s usually the colour of most XXX signs in Hazbin, but the yellow makes everything else look a lot more dingy and gross while still being bright and I love that. Also the yellow is kind of a shallow jab of my own at the adult entertainment industry, a lot of this stuff is just people being exploited for money but I will go on a tangent about this if I don’t shift topic!! Anyway. A lot of the background isn’t super visible, but based on the colours I was kinda going for a more envy & wrath & greed section of the pride ring. Just seems like a good place to smoke. The rain doesn’t hold much symbolism to it but it is there to make the area seem more unpleasant. Yknow how it rains sometimes and the sewage in the street comes up? Like that.

Im really happy with a bunch of stuff in this art. 10 hours, 184+ layers, and 11751 strokes is probably the most I have ever done for.. anything????? Even if you don’t like the art I hope you appreciate the long rant LOL

Hey! I didn’t know which blog to ask, but i have a question. Your art style is absolutely addicting and makes me so happy every time you post, so i was wondering if you have like- instructions? I don’t know the way to explain it but, the drawing process and how you draw the bodies and anatomy for the characters? Of course, i understand if you feel uncomfortable to post how to draw in your style due to thieves, but it would be great if you could show some behind-the-scenes stuff! And as always, keep up the amazing posts!

I'd say my style is mainly based around the sketchy section, i try to make my art loose and shit and i sortve hope it applies to the finished product!! I sketched a few examples- realized that 'oh crap, what is my process?' and just went with it examples:

it's boredom time, so i thought i'd make the rare personal thoughts on fairies write some propaganda for some of my rarepairs, especially the one i named this blog after lol

iridessa/fira (firadessa)

most people think it's self explained, these two are light fairies

however, these two have similar and yet slightly different personalities (to me at least. if you ever say fira and iridessa are basically the same character, or that fira's character traits are too vague from what we have on her its on sight)

fira is a character that is anxious like iridessa, but its implied at same time she is a bubbly character where iridessa is more mellow, fira can also be mellow sure but has a sunnier vibe

its slightly canon that fira over worries, iridessa also does this but her worries are more logical (fira thought the eclipse made the sun disappear, where dessa worries about things that are possible)

ive shipped this since 2021 when making my own blog (this one) but i think them <3 so you will too

rarepair but NOT a crackship because it makes logical sense as a ship, despite the few interactions they have in canon due to the book characters sometimes not being included in the "main canon" sometimes and not some other times. iridessa was also introduced in the books first, wearing a blue and yellow number similar to firas, and fira and iridessa have been written in books coexisting in universes leaning more book or leaning more movie (maybe) so its not exactly a book/movie ship, but it isnt exactly not a book/movie ship

canon to the book "iridessa and the secret of the never mine" (a book that never released in the us and is buried as a pdf so ill make sure to make it more accessible to everyone) that these two wont stop talking to eachother, to the annoyance of others. they start talking in the mine and they are told to stop and they are like "we'll pick this up at dinner" so precious

hc- iridessa is more likely to get angry that fira

half a hc- fairies have different glows, and i think they sometimes get warmth too- i feel like if iridessa is ever cold (she seems like the type to get cold easily despite the temp outside) she would hover near fira

hc- fira is the only one who can take iridessa's anxiousness

attentive to each others energy levels

elegant in their own way, glittering

but also silly, fun, and dorky

sun/moon sun is fira, moon is iridessa (who is ironically afraid of the dark)

they dont realize their dating until someone teases them for being a couple at dinner at the tearoom

attached to the hip, they go everywhere together

romantic & platonic as one thing meshed together (im thinking cute pining sweethearts and best friend bracelet sort of thing cause im alloace and i associate real romance with "sweetheart levels" of a cheesy greeting card- thats real to and lived to me okay), bff and sweetheart goals

please look at "fira's perfect tea party" on youtube or an audiobook of fira and the full moon and note the voice they use to her. contrast to raven's delivery of the worried and hesitant iridessa (unrelated but raven plays iridessa really well, and the other movie voice actors deserve more praise in the fandom)

i believe the first time it was that vidia felt sympathy, when they cut off rani's wings. and that she actually has a soft spot for rani, even though she has a superiority complex. vidia was intended to be a "wicked" or bad fairy, so i think her having some faith in others- maybe even a small amount, gives her a lot of complexity. she took pity on rani, even knowing rani could never fly as fast as she did

there is evidence to support her having a soft side and to her getting along with rani, when she snowboards and is greatful for the snow day. the second is in a comic on her with a scavenger hunt, and they actually work together

rani- "ily. i'll keep this a secret. everyone already knows but i wont tell you that cause i know you wouldnt be able to take it."

rani doesnt know any fairy swears, vidia knows all of them (the only fairy, learned them from pirates), and doesnt use them around rani

Progress Report!

As promised, here is another progress report for DemonVN - or, as it will officially be known, Demon Detangled: Horror at the Homecoming Dance (subtitle pending).  You can view the first (rough) six minutes of it up there.  There’s still quite a bit to edit about it, as I’m sure you can tell, and a lot of it is stuff I have already shown, but for once, it’s all up there together.

Anyway, let’s get started!

FIRST...:

DemonVN has an about page on this blog, now.  You can read it here!

MENUS:

The title screen is officially done!  You can see what it looks like up above.  And, yes, the official name is Demon Detangled!  I’ve had the name in mind for months, but was waiting to officially say it in case I wanted to change it (spoilers: I could not think of a better one). The subtitle is still in need a rework, but I’m including one on the off chance that I gather enough willpower to turn this into a series, rather than just a single game.  Gotta make ‘em distinct, somehow...

I still need to customize all the other menus, but I already have drafts of how they should look in the works!  They should be done in the next few weeks.

SPRITES:

Lillie now has a new sprite, as does Catherine!  It is only looking at them now that I realize just how inhuman Lillie looks.  Hm.  Perhaps this is a deep metaphor for how, really, humans are no different than demons... or that she just needs to get out of the church more often.

Anyway, the rest of the cast is also in the progress of being edited a bit, but I don't have anything official to show for them... Please imagine them in your minds.

POINT AND CLICK ASPECTS:

As I have mentioned, DemonVN does have point and click aspects, so as to excite and challenge the average three-year-old who may want to play.  I spent a lot of the past week or so trying to iron out some of those aspects.  Did you know that at one point, you’ll be able to select multiple items to use on someone?  Check this out:

Aside from that, I’ve been slowly fixing and figuring out all the other item interactions in the game!  I almost got that done in time for this update, but I think it’ll take me another few days to get the base of all those implemented.  There have been a lot of if/else statements at play...

THE WRITING:

I’ve been jumping back and forth quite a bit with the writing of this game, but I have made some progress!  The introduction is still getting written (it remains my white whale), but all the interactions you can have with your classmates are close to finished.  That is something I did not realize I had actually done until I wrote it just now - it feels like I’ve been writing them for forever!  Here’s a fun interaction to show you:

Aside from that, a lot of my writing energy has been spent sitting and figuring out how the ending is going to go.  There is a specific, very important emotional section of it (SPOILERS: MORDRED EXPERIENCES AN EMOTION) that I’ve been trying to figure out the tone of for over a year, and I think I finally understand how it needs to be written without it coming across as overwrought or undeserved.  I wish I could show off what I’ve written of it so far, but... it will be good :^) 

THE ART:

Didn’t do much in the art department, recently, but I do have a lot of placeholder assets in place!  Shout out to this funky guy:

I have a really cool CG I drew a few months back that I had to reluctantly cut, and so I could show you that... but I’m not going to #cruelty #hatred

1) I needed to do something for the game one day, and I didn’t feel like doing anything else.  2) Doing this helped me learn that buttons can perform multiple functions, which!  I had no idea was possible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you for telling me, Ren’Py!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some Stuff(tm) yaaay, anyways the good thing about this is we don't think our queer shit would ever, ever be as fucking weird as our plurality shit in the context of the societal context and chronological context we, Rusanya, live in, so figuring out we're aceplex (since we found the plurality first and asexuality is more of a veil) was mostly just an "AHA okay then lol" and we just kind of slap every label on the planet onto us that we like that we think applies, both on an individual and collective level. :D

Ya boys about to hit Shadowbringers

I got through Stormblood post-game last night and BOY what a ride it was!? I could barely put the game down, even when I was trying to pace myself so I don't leave certain friends too far behind. Adding spoilery stuff below the cut, because I know one of 'em reads this blog (I just need to gush a little while things are still fresh in my mind)

Okay so. All the revelations of Garlemald and how, WHY it was created? I loved that, it so easily explained why a whole ass country has been the default 'evil conquerors' for so long without any real challenge or change until now. Because the real man behind the whole thing is STILL AT IT. Change don't happen if the original reason, the original driving force is still kicking about.

Also I wanna kick Solus. I wanna kick Solus so hard. Props for the animators, writer and Rene Zagger, it's on sight now old man, I'm coming for your kneecaps!

Speaking of voice actors, Luke Allen-Gale! Hot damn did he do a good job as Zenos (and the possessed Zenos)! I have complicated feelings about Zenos, ngl - He's one of those characters that I know cannot be saved, fixed, or redeemed, but I can also see why he's such a popular character? Personally it's the voice and certain lines that did it for me. Got some shivers out of certain line-deliveries.

He's actually a character that makes me kinda sad - it's a reminder that there is some characters that are doomed by the canon, they'll never be good people, and yet you can see a glimmer, a potential of what-ifs, could-have-beens and all that. A road that was there but refused by the character because that's just not who they are.

Also Varis is also on the kick on the face list. Black Rose is bad. Stop it.

AND NOW ON THE LATEST THING that actually got two of my friends laughing: The final fight against Zenos-Zombie! Zenbie? Zomnos? The- the dead body possessed by the Ascian who I keep calling Ildi because names hard. Ildinos.

So the final fight against him. One, I absolutely loved being Hien for a moment, he quickly became one of my faves through the Stormblood (he's such a fun, up-beat character that takes the life by stride while also not being a pushover, and that's such a good quality to have!).

Two.... GOD DAMMIT WHOEVER YOU ARE, COULDN'T YOU HAD PICKED A BETTER TIME FOR YOUR BLOODY HOUSECALL, YOU NEARLY COST ME MY HEAD! If it wasn't for our local stray cat of a dragoon, we would've lost then and there and you would've lost your chance to have the WoL helping out on the count of NOT HAVING A HEAD, pick your times better oui raatmacc raqan! (This is a joke I know he couldn't have known I was locked in a death-match. I hope.)

Now if ya wondering why I am not more outraged about the fact they've effectively kidnapped my friends, I uh. I actually felt a huge surge of sympathy at the start for the character. idk something about the voice painted a picture of someone desperate and... sad? Upset? Distressed? Something like that just got my empathy flaring up. So while I am mad that I keep getting these calls and everyone around me is panicking in fear, I also want to get to the bottom of this because apparently my empathy levels are far too fucking high.

(Yes I am the type of person who wants to help everyone in any of the games I play in. It's my ultimate power fantasy, being able to help and comfort folks without my actual personality coming in the way)

I think that's all for me now folks, I am taking a small break before heading to Shadowbringers - I have few alts that need to catch up to HW at the very least, and a laundry-list of things for my main to go through. Like all the gathering side-quests, Eureka, unlocking all the primal fights and fixing my glamors etc. We're also trying to get a house for Storytellers, so i gotta help gather some extra funds + items.

rpp (schizotaxic) was my favorite blogger and i remember back when they were running people repost their posts w/o permission and also spread misinfo or false attributions, even now in the schizoid schizotypal tags u see ppl who uses the "schizotaxic" label constantly attributes it to paul meehl w/o ever mentioning rpp themselves (paul meehl did coined the original word but the updated definition that includes the four specific disorders and the explanations of the mechanisms r from rpp specifically, and its the ones rpp wrote that ppl r spreading on tumblr. paul meehls og definition only defined schizotaxia as the now disproven concept of a "gene" that causes schizophrenia and not all the stuff em wrote for their own model)

i remember when rpp corrected ppl for issues like that 2 prevent the spread of misinfo ppl would reply sarcastically 2 them and there was also problems of harassment and stalking w/ them w/ ppl shaming them 4 being weird and paranoid..... on the weird and paranoid disease blog ofc

2 this day it looks like some ppl who still post w/ the "schizotaxic" label refuse to acknowledge rpp at all and i suspect its either because ppl want 2 look like "real researchers" by attributing a famous psychologist like meehl (while posting content obviously regurgitated from ems writings) or bcuz rpps public breakdowns shoot their reputation in the foot and now nobody wants to be associated w/ the schizo who makes the other schizos look bad

considering rpp became so hard 2 talk 2 was worsened by ppl harassing them and the fact they didnt have any friends makes the way theyre still treated now so ironic and rly left a bad taste in my mouth in the schizoid schizotypal community of tumblr tbh, even when they shortly returned and asked ppl 2 stop reposting their writings so they could update old info nobody ever respected their wishes

anyway i dont mean 2 say this 2 sound traumadumping its just nobody ever talked abt what actually happened online and bcuz em never had any friends nobody ever rly defended them or explained the situation so im just happy 2 see at least 1 person who can actually acknowledge the work they put into the community. we werent close in a personal way and they were always standoffish but i respected their work and they were always attentive to my questions

they were always so nice and compassionate that ik a reason why ppl never realized they were being harassed was bcuz they never wanted to publicize the drama they were receiving and i think only a few people who kept track of their personal blog before their suicide even noticed, w/ the majority of those acquiantances apparently ghosting them shortly b4 bcuz they were rly disorganized and incoherent b4 they nuked everything and was just hard 2 talk 2 consistently

its honestly been a sour point 4 me 4 a few years now that absolutely nobody ever even wants to say their name while regurgitating the things they wrote and pretending they came up w/ it themselves, especially as an old follower of rpp who saw some of these bloggers snarking them to their face back in the day. ik rpp avoiding escalating drama is a reason why alot of ppl especially newcomers who read uncredited rewrites of their posts but never saw the original @schizotaxicblog r unfamiliar w/ what happened 2 them and i respect how they chose 2 avoid picking fights w/ others as much as possible but 2 this day it still upsets me deeply that somebody who helped me 2 the point where i would say they changed my life is left 2 just be remembered as a paranoid depressing weirdo while other ppl take credit for their insights. ik since nobody else will or may even be able 2, i just wanted 2 at least put an explanation of what went down w/ them out there 2 somebody who i think would at lrast care. it means alot 2 me 2 see even 1 person whos able 2 say a single nice thing abt them, so thank u.

Ah, thank you for the explanation! That definitely puts some things into perspective, yeah. It's awful how people treated them.

Their work was extremely influential for us in figuring out what was going on and in finding the words to describe what was happening in our brain; I think if we hadn't found them, we'd still be years behind where we are now. They deserved so much better. We'd go back every now and again to find old things they'd talked about especially while discovering our own shit, and their writings were invaluable, especially as someone who tends to struggle with parsing writing in general, and especially the jargon most commonly used in research. It sucks that they aren't recognized for the good they did and that their contributions are shared, but their name is brushed to the side in the process.

Well if that ain't absolutely perfect casting. Grey's Mandy would be a perfect Rose, and honestly, her Azula is a pretty flawless Vriska.

Both of these ideas for Dave's modus refer to him dealing with arbitrary restrictions - and I have talked before about how Dave seems pretty good at working within Sburb's.

The Tree Modus is harder to untangle, though. Trees are such a general symbol (and John's the one with the apple symbolism), and as a data structure, they're awfully abstract. The fact that she calls it elegant when it's obviously as janky as all the others is a good metaphor for her own feigned elegance, though.

I do really like the idea of analyzing people's modi, so I'm going to keep doing it.

It's kind of weird to be liveblogging the heyday of a comic which has essentially been orphaned by its author. It's a little sad, to be honest - it means that eventually, I'll run out of original Homestuck material, and there'll never be any more. Well, what can ya do.

The worldbuilding, of course, I'll love, but it'd also be fascinating to read a deconstruction of a fandom I was never part of. Maybe I'll try to reverse-engineer what the fandom was like from the fic itself.

I'm building up a proper list here! I'm going to have to make a page for it on the blog, I think, so I can compile my recs.

We know he's not really omniscient - and so does Terezi, actually - but it seems as if Vriska completely buys into it. I'd still call it an assumption, but it's a completely reasonable one, given the circumstances, and especially given that he's trying to mess with her head.

It's interesting, because if Vriska really believes he's 'never wrong', then how could she possibly expect him to lose at Battlefield-chess? Is she just that competitive? Why am I asking a question I already know the answer to?

Hello! Welcome to my original characters' blog!! Hoorah ^^

I don't really draw my ocs allat much, but I hope y'all like them anyway!

Below is gunna be some basic info on the world and the main characters a.k.a. the main ocs imma use!

The world is set in a 2019-esc fantasy type of thing! Although the year is canonically around 1800's.

The history is very different from our world though.. I'm explaining that when it comes!

When I say fantasy, I mean fantasy! There's humans, centaurs, satyrs, elves and everything else! Why? I unno I thought it was cool.

The main four characters are Rose Petal, Jelly Gellathene, Jello Gellathene and Daisy Petal Jr. Don't make fun of their names, I named em back in 2021 and now I am attached to it.

The Petals are siblings and so are the other two.

This is Rose Petal!

He's a cis man who uses he/him pronouns! He is homosexual and 28 years old!

As per current times in the canon universe, he is married to Jelly Gellathene, who will be shown below~

Nah, but for real, thank you so much all you AskChovy mouthboxes! I'm having so much fun making content for this blog!

Imma take this opportunity to rant about the blog under the cut, just for a bit.

I've always wanted to make an ask blog about some characters I find cool and interesting that has a story I find neat, and I'm glad at least a hundred people seem to like my sense of humor and art of my first one!

I'll tell you all right now that over the course of being in this one waiting room, I've managed to gain my footing on how I want the characters to look and the story to go! It did change from how I first thought it would go when I started the blog, but that's something I'll explain more in-depth after the epilogue (so it might take a while).

And, by all means, the asks do affect the actual overarching story! There's just a few beats that're guaranteed, but how we get them will be up to the asks. They might even play out differently than planned, who knows...

Also, I wanna disclose how canon Extra-Chovy posts are. They are canon to how characters think and feel about the topics discussed! Most of them probably didn't actually happen, at least not in-between the timeline of the main posts (unless stated otherwise in the tags), but still, point stands!

Oh, and check the tags if you can! I do often ramble in em, but I do occasionally hint at lore and fun facts in em. If there isn't much there, it's either cause it's just a funny post or I'm going out of my way to not point out the foreshadowing. I usually do anyway still... Just more subtle-like, ya know?

And! Before I forget! If I don't post at all a day or two sometimes, I'm probably just taking a short break or perhaps working on a bigger post. I do try to make at least bare-bones sketches ahead of time for the real whoppers, but some unexpectedly end up bigger than first planned, so they take a bit more time.

I missed his old version of Sammir 🥰💙💛🐻🌩️🤗, even in 5 years throughout our friendship between myself and G-Pal, rafacaz4lisam2k4. 🇵🇭🤝🇬🇹🥰🤗 That's why, I'm posting today's throwback from 2019's Sammir debut in the "Cuteness Defender Academy". 🤖😁

• In his old day, Sammir the bear with a "thunderbolt" ⚡ (or I should say "Wonderbolt" I should say derived from MLP) image from his outfits seems I found a perfect armor suit for him; speed, quick maneuver and quickly dodge any on coming fire range obstacles. And thus the armor "Zudah" 🤖 was here from the Zeon manufactures yours truly, with a tall shaped fin on his front helmet makes him a lead of the "HTF Wonderbolt Team" 🐻⚡.

Nowadays, his entire personality was changed, since June of 2023. You've already saw his new color uniform, and someday I'll update his "Cuteness Mecha Armor" colors, too. 😊

Zudah Sammir Based on: EMS-10 Zudah [CLICK ME!]

Armament(s):

M-120A1 120mm Zaku Machine Gun • This is the same machine gun model used by the MS-06 Zaku series. It is a shell firing gun that does not require energy to be used, however its effectiveness against heavy armor is very limited. It holds 100 rounds per drum with spare drums that can be stored on Zudah's waist armor racks, while the gun can be stored on Zudah's calf-mounted hard points when not in use.

H&L-SB25K/280mmA-P Zaku Bazooka • The 280mm Zaku Bazooka was another standard weapon that could be equipped to a Zaku-type armor suit. The bazooka fired explosive rounds that were quite effective against the armor of enemy suit(s) and battleships.

135mm Anti-Ship Rifle • Developed in the early phase of One Year War, the long-barreled 135mm anti-ship rifle is used by various models of Zeon armored suits for long-range sniping attack against opponent's warships.

Heat Hawk Type 3 • The Heat Hawk Type 3 is an axe-like weapon used by the original MS-06 Zaku II, whose name is short for "tomahawk". Thermal energy is relayed through the armor suit's hand to heat the heat hawk's blade, allowing it to slice through the armor of enemy warships or armor suits. The Heat Hawk can be stored on Zudah's calf-mounted hard points when not in use.

Shield • Attached to Zudah's left shoulder, it is capable of limited movement and can store two Sturm Fausts, a Flare Launcher, and a pair of foldable spikes for close-quarter combats.

Sturm Faust • A simplified, disposable rocket launcher. As the warhead is not equipped with a guidance device, it is extremely hard to use the Sturm Faust to hit a moving target accurately. However, it is still a highly destructive portable weapon.

Spikes • Fixed to the front of the shield, these two long spikes swing forward for use in high-speed charging attacks.

Flare Launcher • Zudah's shield can be equipped with a Flare Launcher near the inside tip of the shield. Solid rounds of pyrotechnic rockets can be fired from the Flare Launcher for signalling friendly forces nearby.

Big Gun • A armor suit-use sniping turret, it is equipped with a powerful, long-range beam cannon.

Oh, this was bad. Mario looked on in horror at his baby brother squirming around in that weird turtle-dragon’s claw. How did they get to this point? One minute, they are in the flooded streets of Brooklyn, New York and the next, they’re battling a lovestruck turtle dragon. “Put back the Super Star,” Bowser threatened Mario. “Or this twerp learns how to fly WITHOUT POWER-UPS!” Bowser put Luigi over the sea of molten lava below the castle the crew was in. Luigi was terrified looking at how high he was from the lava. The heat made him sweat where he didn’t know he could.

Mario couldn’t even think about Luigi dying. How would he go on? How would he explain this to their parents? “LUIGI!” Mario called out to his brother. “Toad...do what he says!” Toad put the Super Star back on its platform before racing down to his monarch who welcomed him with open arms. “Okay…okay,” Mario tried to comfort Bowser and frankly, himself. “You have what you want, just, let him go. He means the world to me. So please, let him go.” Mario felt a lump grow in his throat. “Mario,” Luigi called out to his brother, his voice small. He felt like that little kid on the playground who was always getting bullied. Bowser rolled his eyes. “That's the thing about the people you love. The more you love 'em, the more it hurts when they go. Allow me to demonstrate.” Then, he let go of him.

Luigi was falling to his death. Tears fell from his cheeks as he fell to his demise.

Everyone looked on in horror. Luigi was gone. Mario’s world came falling around him. The red-hatted plumber dropped to his knees. Luigi was gone. He couldn’t be. Mario thought about his last moments with his brother before they were sucked into this situation.

“Nothing can hurt us as long as long as we're together!”

“You're gonna bring your brother down with ya..."

“I hope you told your brother how much you love him..."

"Mario...you're not bringing me down!"

Mario grabbed his chest, he felt like he had just been stabbed right in the center of his heart. His other half was gone, and it was all that evil turtle’s fault. That’s when he was sent into a blind rage. “Give him back,” That’s all Mario could say at that point. He shakily stood up.

Meanwhile, Peach took a Tanooki leaf and ran to the sea of lava. She jumped in and started flying around looking for the other Mario brother. Then, she saw him, falling. He was two inches away from being burned alive.

“I’m sorry, what?” Bowser asked. “Give. Him. Back.” “What? You told me to let him go, and I let him go!” Mario ran up to Bowser and pounced at him. “I am a Koopa of my word-” Mario punched him square in the jaw, knocking out one of his humungous teeth. The tooth landed in front of Donkey Kong and Toad. “NO WAY!” Toad exclaimed. Bowser was pushed to one of the windows in his castle. The sea of lava right below him. Bowser gained his balance before stepping forward to Mario, who was ready to fight. “First, you try to push me out the window AND break my tooth? How pathetic can you be?” Bowser didn’t get to finish his sentence because Mario had knocked him down.

While on the floor, Bowser grabbed the plumber and breathed fire at him. Mario stopped the fire before it could reach him. The interruption made Bowser start coughing. Mario grabbed the Koopa King’s tail and was about to swing him around. “OH NO YOU DON’T!” Bowser wiggles his tail up and down trying to flick Mario off. Despite the wiggling, Mario still held on, and then, the plumber swung Bowser around. “GIVE. HIM. BACK!” Then, Mario let Bowser go. The king flew to the sea of lava and fell to his demise.

Mario stood on the ledge with sweat and tears rolling down his face while DK and Toad were left shocked at how Mario fought Bowser. “And he did all that without power-ups,” Toad finally said, breaking the silence. “Why didn't he fight ME like that?” DK wondered. Toad noticed that the Princess was gone and also something else. “The Princess seems to have gone somewhere. We need to… Mario, you're standing AWFULLY CLOSE to that edge.” Mario didn’t respond, all he did was look at the sea that his brother died in. “OK Listen, I'm sorry for what happened to your brother,” Toad explained. Then, DK and Toad saw something green and blue zoom past them.

Mario couldn’t hear anything the little guy was saying. All he could think about was his brother. Luigi was dead. He had gone somewhere that Mario couldn’t. All Mario wanted was to be with his brother. “Dad was right. I did bring him down,” Mario thought.

Mario couldn’t even hear the person calling his name. “MARIO!”

“It's my fault…”

“MARIO!” Mario took a step forward and was about to jump. “Luigi...I can't wait to see you again…” Then, someone wrapped their hands around Mario’s waist and brought the both of them back from the ledge. Then, everything went black.

A few seconds later, Mario opened his eyes and looked up to see him. Luigi. “Mario!” Luigi exclaimed tears streaming down the younger Mario’s face. Mario sat up to face his brother. This had to be a dream. He saw Luigi fall to his death. It didn’t matter what it was, Luigi was okay. Tears streamed down Mario’s face. “T-the Princess and the...the bear thing, it... I'm here and...the sounds, I heard it all,” Luigi told Mario. “You'd be surprised at how much you can hear when you're falling towards your death, haha! Like when you yelled, "GIVE HIM BACK!" That was cool! And the fighting and the shouting...it was… well...I knew I had to get back to you, so when I heard the little mushroom man, My bro misses me so, I… Mario, what were you gonna do?” Mario couldn’t contain it, he pushed himself into his baby brother and started sobbing. “LU!” Mario exclaimed. “I’m here Mario,” Luigi comforted his Fratello. Donkey Kong gagged at the sight of the brothers hugging. “Ew, stop being gross,” DK said. In response, Toad hit him with his frying pan. “OW!” DK exclaimed. Then, the two started fighting.

Peach, still in her tanooki (or bear) costume, walked up to the brothers. “With Bowser out of the picture, we can safely take the Super Star away for safekeeping,” She said, happily. “I don't know if this matters to you two, but I have your caps.” The two stood up and put on their caps. Then, Mario thought about something. What if this was a dream? What if Luigi was still in that lava and Mario was hallucinating the whole thing?

“Lu?” Mario asked Luigi. “Hm?” Luigi answered. Mario put his hands on his brother’s cheeks. “How do I know that you're real and actually here?” “If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t be able to do this! Hyah!” Luigi poked his brother’s belly. “Luigi, nooo!” Mario chuckled. He pulled Luigi into an embrace. Luigi was alive. He was okay. And that’s all Mario needed.

Okay so this may be confusing to explain, but i'll try my best. My friend Austin has this strange computer that can... connect to the future internet? Ok well to you guys it's not the future. For reference, i am from the year 2006, and yet whenever Austin over here accesses the internet, it's 2023??? Wowzas! Anyway, neither of us are really certain on how this works, but he always uses weird future internet slang that i don't quite get, so he let me create this blog to learn more about the future LOL? I do both shipp fanfiction and Imagine fanfiction. Here we are kinkfriendly.

Escrevo há alguns anos, mas tomei coragem para postar no tumblr agora. Eu faço fanfiction de shipp e fanfic de Imagine. Aqui somos kinkfriendly.

19. One of my OCs nearest and dearest to my heart is CREAT!!

They're a Shedim Bodyguard who's jolly, prideful, nonchalant, and very charismatic and easy to approach! Their arms were blown off many man years ago, and now wear a magic scarf that substitutes as a replacement! Their body is extremely sturdy and they have enough kick force to kick holes in iron BUT! Despite their vulgarity and carefree attitude at times, they're pretty easy to talk and hang out with. They love making friends :)

Creat means a lot to me for a lot of reasons that I could write paragraphs about but in short: they're just really fun to write and draw and think about! They're one of my oldest OCs, one of the first OCs I specifically categorized as nonbinary (before I made all Shedim NB), a big goof ball but just trying to get by at the end of the day, and just loves life! Despite it all Creat does their best to enjoy the day and moment and just do what they can as confidently as they can! LOVE EM!

31. I think of my OCs to run a blog, Fabric Knight's would be the most active!

I think they'd run a really active fashion news blog that's interlaced with their own work! Not only that but also probably keep updates on club life, probably reblogs a lot of runway shows and the kind of guy to boost posts a lot! I think he'd have a blog theme probably akin to like old geocities image collections, lots of fancy stamps and all that
