shameless vent time bc i’m not in therapy nymore when i should be: but i am so sick of hearing ppl say i hav sm potential n that i’m "gnna do great things" when clearly i am absolutely incapable of that . what good does ~having ideas~ or ~being well spoken~ do if i can’t be successful where it counts ? "you’re gnna do big things seriously" … HOW if i can’t get through the day w out having a panic attack ? if i still can’t get my academic life together ? i’m nineteen & horrified of asking for help — i can’t break out of the self sabotage cycle . so TELL ME why any of that "you have sm potential" bs matters . being mediocre is eating me alive . i cant amount to anything . i should’ve never had dreams or ambitions .. pathetic .

Patalliro! is fascinating to me because of stuff like this. It's unapologetically gay - even within its anime which aired during primetime hours in 1982 - in a way that many later BL manga would never be, like the ones from the early 2000s which would never dare to call their characters actual homosexuals. Patalliro has actually aged quite well in this regard, there's something comforting about how campy it is.

Oh, do you have any height hcs? I've seen multiple people agree that Zack is taller than Genesis (reason of him wearing heels) and I do agree but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

i think in order from tallest to shortest it would be: sephiroth, being like freakishly tall -> angeal, being a few inches shorter than seph -> zack, only an inch or two shorter than angeal -> genesis, being a few inches shorter than zack -> cloud, only a couple inches shorter than gen

im also one of those people that thinks genesis is shorter! he definitely always tries to overcompensate for it by wearing heels but i also love to entertain the idea of genesis wearing chunky platform boots for more height! and if he isn’t able to wear heels/platforms, he stacks a few of those heel inserts inside his shoes because he absolutely can not accept being the second shortest of the group under any circumstances! and in photos, he will always pick the spot that makes him look taller if they’re on uneven terrain

but i really like to think zack actually started off being shorter than genesis, like when he first joined soldier, but his last growth spurt ended up making him taller and genesis has never forgiven zack for it (he was also extremely relieved that cloud didn’t go through a similar growth spurt, so he isnt the dead last shortest)

I was looking at my college picsets and just had to throw these pics together! These are graduation pics paired with pictures from their freshmen year!

I play two uni years per round, which means there's always two different age groups in the university at the same time.

Top down from oldest to newest, names go left to right on the rightside pics:

1: Oliver Aoki, Rayna Limestone (not in first pic) and Neil Waters

Rayna is the oldest of the third generation Limestones. My original plan was for Rayna and Neil to get married and start a family but it just felt SO wrong without Oliver, so now they're building a family all together! They now have two kids, third on the way. Neil and Oliver are CAS made.

2: Kanerva Huotari and Storm Limestone

Storm is Rayna's little brother, and Kanerva is a townie who was good friends with Rayna. Storm and Kanerva are married with two kids.

3: Milo Lovett, Lemon Farwood, Johnny Mills and Rosa Limestone

Rosa is the next sibling of the Limestones in university. Johnny and Lemon are cousins. Lemon and Milo are married with two kids, while Rosa is currently dating and Johnny just got married to Rosanna Sherman.

4: Apple Farwood, Jenny Mills and Shane Limestone

Shane is the youngest of these Limestone siblings in the university! Apple is Lemon's younger sister and Jenny Johnny's. They're all very fresh out of college still, only one round into adulthood, so their future is still very open :)

5: Kevin Rogan (not in first pic), Lila Hart and Ilona Tannen

Ilona, Lila and Kevin are the most recent graduates from university! Lila and Ilona are CAS made, but Kevin was the next Limestone to attend college: he's the cousin to all the earlier Limestones!

The current freshmen include Katy, who's Kevin's younger sister, and Ruby, who's another Limestone cousin to these all! And Mango is the younger brother to Lemon and Apple!

Idk it's always funny to me how in aitsf every thing and every one has a reason for being there and it's all connected and purposeful bc everyone has a hand in the mystery but aini everything is like loosely connected and the cast just feels bloated

Idk why but I kinda find it funny how in Genealogy, my ships for the first gen are very generic and the ones majority of the fandom ships

And then my second gen ships I just put together randomly as there wasn’t much content of them so I just paired them either randomly or saw ONE fanart of them and shipped them (and then I became invested in them)
