i need him biblically like 😭😭 it’s so frustrating the position i’m constantly in. i think i’m over him and then fucking NOPE. and there is nothing i can do at all about it. he isn’t mine he will never be mine he’s someone else’s and i respect that. but oh my god. and we speak so sparingly because he’s busy or not doing well and i get it. i really do. but my shifts are so intense and my memories scream at me. my body remembers the feelings of him. my memories are precise and distinct and reoccurring and it won’t let up. every song is about him. everything is about him. now that the distraction is gone i cant fucking handle it. being normal with him is so difficult sometimes but i do it because i care so much. i hate this i hate this so much. god and he’ll probably see this and know it’s about him but i just. god i don’t know how to just get these memories to stop. i don’t want them to but for my sake i should. and it’s not like we can even be kin dating because his irl bf wouldn’t like it. so it’s just. there’s no escape except through the role play which we rarely get to rlly do. it’s not like this for him at all i mean he barely thinks he’s a kinnie at all. but he is he has to be because first of all it’s glaringly obvious but also because we share the SAME thoughts about the specific timeline we roleplay. it was so unanimous and mutual when it came to the bigger picture AND the specific details. everything was so correct. everything felt so right. the intensity of which we feel certain things isn’t coincidence. but that was a different life so. i should just let it go. i should just stop feeling like this. but it’s addicting to me. he’s addicting he always was and that just isn’t gonna change. it’s not his fault. it’s nothing he’s doing it’s all me and my own head hating me this much.

Your story comes from you. Evaluate your ideas and modify them using a "personality filter". Does it hit a nerve in your soul? Do you resonate, personally, with what the story is aimed at?

What is your physical appearance? How do you feel about it? How does it affect you?

The What-If Game: read the newspaper/watch TV, asking "What If" at the end of each article.

Titles: come up with a good title, then craft a story that would go with it

Issues: make a list of this world's problems that push your buttons. What make you angry? (e.g. abortion, gun control, talk shows)

Predict a Trend: Novels can be "hot" because of the subject matter alone. Read the news and see what people are killing each other over nowadays - and hop on the topical wave!

Noodling the Newspaper: Scan the newspaper for interesting stories, something you can use later. Capture interesting pieces of info and store it away for later.

Research: Choose a nonfiction book on some subject you wanted to know about. Skim the book for an overview, then jot down the ideas that come to you. Read the book in more detail, and flesh out the ideas you have.

"What I Really Want to Write About Is...": Get up in the morning and start typing on a blank document: what i reallt want to write about is.... Just write for ten minutes without stopping to loosen up your senses.

Obsession: Create a character and give her an obsession. By its nature, an obsession controls the deepest emotions of a character and thus prompts her to action. Ego? Lust? Looks? Careers? Revenge?

Opening Lines: Write just the opening lines. Then, write a story that goes with it.

Write a Prologue: Gripping openings are farily easy to write. The trick is putting a book after it. The ideas you generate with a good proglogue may lead to a full story.

The Mind Map: (1) choose a word or concept. (2) allow you mind to jot down connections to the word. Fill the paper. (3) Look for a pattern. Can you link these items into a story?

Socko Ending: Ending often make or break a story. Visualize a climactic scene in the theater of your mind. Play around with the characters, heighten the conflict and emotion until something unforgettable happens. Then ask: (1) who are the characters? (2) what circumstance brought them there? (3) how can I trace back the story to its logical starting point?

Occupations: What we do is inherent to our ways of thinking, the kind of culture we live in, etc. Refer to the Dictionary of Occupational Titles and see which occupations spark an idea.

Desperation: You're sitting before a blank screen and there's nothing in your head. You're down to your last two brain cells and slowly losing one of them. Good. You are a desperate writer. The answer:

JUST WRITE.

- presuming you and the boys all sit together at a table, julien and you sit beside each other. juliens hand on your thigh, reassuring you.

- holding onto juliens hand tightly with one hand and crossing your fingers in a silent prayer in the other when their categories come up

- the minute they were best rock performance winners for not strong enough you just started sobbing.

- the first thing julien does is stand up and hug you. kissing you long and softly before going up to collect her award.

- she definitely becomes the little spoon for the night.

- the wave of emotion hitting her like a ton of bricks realising the events of today like a delayed reaction has her silently crying in your neck

- obviously you let her have her moment. letting julien melt into your chest as you run your hands through her hair. julien slowly falling asleep to the sounds of your small hums and praises

Sonic noticed Tails glaring at him a few minutes ago. He hasn't called it out or said anything, after about a year of being with the kid he's learned it's better to let Tails come to him first. Though he will say his patience has been wearing thin, it's been a week of nonstop staring and cutting eyes.

Sonic glances at Tails with an eyebrow raise making the fox flush in embarrassment. For another few minutes Tails sits with his namesakes on his lap and his head buried in their fluff. Sonic gives him privacy and looks the other way, hoping not to embarrass him any further, he'd really prefer not to prompt the kid more than he has to.

"I uhm- I have a question. If that's okay." Sonic shrugs, reaching down to dig in his bag, but he's not reallt looking for anything. "Oh, if you're looking for the cans of chili we put them in my bag, remember?"

Sonic plays it off as if that's what he was looking for, it's basically dinner time anyway so it's not a waste to start cooking.

"Right uhm- anyway, what makes you different?" Tails asks.

Sonic raises an eyebrow again, asking him to elaborate.

"I just... We're friends right-" Sonic nods without hesitation- "okay good. It's just that the people back at Westside didn't like me much, so... So why do you?"

Sonic gives another shrug. Is he supposed to have a reason for liking him? It just came naturally. He had a good heart, big ambitions, and an even bigger brain. Is there a reason he shouldn't like the fox?

"Is there a reason I shouldn't like you?" Sonic signs.

Tails' snout wrinkles a little, "Obviously."

The hedgehog gestures for Tails to keep talking.

"I'm weird, and I can't brush my fur by myself yet, I talk too much, I take half a portion of your food, I slow you down I-"

"It's our food, and you don't slow me down," Sonic huffs. "Those things don't matter. Why would they make me not like you?"

Tails frowns, gripping his Tails between his fingers, seeming unsure of the answer himself. His mouth opens and closes as he tries to gather his thoughts into a neat sentence, and Sonic continues food prep. An anticipatory silence sits between them.

It's not until Sonic's almost done with the first chilidog that Tails speaks again. His voice is a quiet murmur under cracking fire and a few distant flickies, but Sonic still catches his voice and it's little sniffles in the wind.

"I can't understand how someone so cool can like something that wasn't even tolerated by its parents..."

And isn't that heartbreaking? Sonic could join Tails crying after hearing that. What's he even supposed to say? Is there anything he can say?

Sonic places a hand on Tails' shoulder to get his attention, making the fox wipe his tears away.

"Your parents were dumb."

"But they were the smartest people in the village! My dad was the head research-"

Sonic places a hand over Tails' muzzle to quiet him.

"Being the smartest dumb person in a room full of dumb people isn't the win you think it is."

Tails looks away from Sonic with a sniffle and huff, wiping his eyes again.

If Sonic could take it all away he would. Unfortunately, he doesn't have memory altering magic, at least as far as he knows.

"How about I become your new family. I can be your brother or something." He says on a whim, looking for something to make the kid feel better. Maybe offering a replacement family would be better than claiming the old one.

And for just a moment Tails looks starstruck. His already teary eyes grow large and seem to well up even more before he tilts his face down, his eyes glistening in the ever brighter glow of the campfire.

Sonic swears he didn't do anything wrong, but those tears make him feel like the scum of the earth.

"You're just trying to make me feel better... You wouldn't actually want that. No one in their right mind would."

Sonic crouches down in front of Tails, waiting for him to turn and look him in the eyes. It feels like an eternity before the fox actually looks at him, and Sonic grasps desperately at the patience he's never had, but is determined to find.

Tails' face fur is wet and sticks up awkwardly, and the eye contact he gives is minimal at best but Sonic will take that over nothing.

Gently, Sonic bumps his fist to Tails chest, right above where his heart is. "We're brothers!" He says, in a voice that's just as foreign to the fox as it is to him. The re in the word we're doesn't quite come across, neither does the br in brothers making the word sound like buzzers, but Tails seems to understand him anyway.

Sonic can't tell if the fox is surprised by him standing his ground or by him talking, but it's probably a healthy mix of both. He repeats himself, pushing just a little harder on Tails chest to get the point across.

Tightly, Tails squeezes his eyes shut. Heaving out a sob, dropping his head down to stare at the log he's sitting on.

"Okay." The fox mumbles, "Let's be brothers."

later, you find yourself giggling with shoko when she shows you a recording of gojo stuttering during his turn to speak. you're not exactly sure how he still got a good grade on that.

thinking about rise raph and how people depict him a lot as being more distant and forcibly keeping away from the others bc of the kraang infection altering his mind and hes Scared but my personal hc is that bc of that he only latches on so much harder , he really wants to replace the hurt he put on them with as much care and love as he can bc yeah theyre little shits but he never wants them to think hes Mad at them or something

like this possession scare its all his issue not smth that they are scared of and he has separation anxiety he does Not want to get all freaked out from being alone bc he wants to know theyre still alive and well he still wants to monitor them

id think he has episodes where in a panic he fears that the kraang matter is still in his brain and stuff and thats really the only time he stays away until it passes , but the rottmnt boys r a bit codependent as the tmnt tend to be , so his brothers wouldnt be far and also wouldnt let him be alone , his main fear is his family being hurt or dead or smth (taken directly from the cut storyboards of his nightmare while he was in kraang captivity)

he does worry a lot when his brothers are scared but they are never scared Of him and that has been the truth for all of their lives , there was never genuine fear of harm from him bc he would never actually hurt them not seriously this is baseline fact

so i dont think leo is ever afraid of raph himself despite being the main victim of the kraangified attacks , he never flinches he never fears being alone with him or angering him , bc if anything he just reallt desperately latches onto raph with a fire bc there is a comfort that only he can bring and its so good to have him still there , leo stopped at nothing to get raph back Sure the world needed to be saved but he would brave the apocalypse if he could have his big brother with him

Flora actually has an au???

I have come to the realization that I have never shared info about the au I am working on- so here is some info on it!!! I’ll post drawings later (when i actually do them-)

so, the name is still a littlleeee up in the air rn, I am thinking “theraltale” or “mergedtale” cus this au is actually a merging of several different aus!!!! Around 8-10 dying worlds ending up collapsing into eachother and created a ?new one? All the monsters from each au are either all combined or a few are combined with their others, most take form into strange shadow creatures that haunt the forests and towns, reallt everywhere.

The Charas and Frisks (along with a Asriel) are all separate from each, that means there are 8-10 different versions of them running around, so therefore the most common to see. Unfortunately all of them also are shadows…but unlike the monsters they still have their minds simi intact…..it’s recommended you start far away from them. 3 others that also have their minds kinda intact are the Riverperson, Gaster, and Sans Unir. There are 4 of the RIverperson, so all are merged with another but does it really matter? only one Gaster and Sans however, only reason they have their minds and arnt shadows are because they managed to hide in the void as the collapse happened…..all the sanes did….unfortunately causing them to merge in the void instead. (Gasters were already there so same thing happened to them)

The combination of all these sanses is well…sans….but they have named themselves Unir, wanting to forget what who they use to be. another note, this world/au is more about world building then a set story, this world is ALL kinds of fucked up, I’m talking caves where trees grow from the ceilings down, towns where you can’t really tell where one building ends and the others start, and small parts of all the AUs that’s collapsed where….it’s exactly how it was to begin with….those parts are the safest to be in.

anyways, i remembered another underrated video: chanse and angela's flight simulator. PATRISH!!!! NEVERTHESS SHE PERSISTED! i may be biased cause i watched this video on the way to my first ever pride event and it just set me up to feel good the rest of the day, but i think it's a reallt funny video that idt people talk about enough !!

Omg you are so right with tntl. There are so many bits where I physically sink in my chair and close my eyes from how it made me feel. BUT, I can’t lie and say that every tntl is bad, there have been a couple I’ve watched in the past months that were decent. Like I said in a previous post, I watch when there’s a duo I like casted, and I could tolerate those episodes, maybe bc of who was casted mainly lol. With flight simulator, it was such a fun concept. I enjoyed the other version w/ Huey and beef beef as well. I hope they return that little series bc I thought those vids were pretty fun. Also, congrats on going to pride! Idk if you went as an ally or a member, but either way, it’s nice you went. I think sometime when I’m older, I may visit one since I live in a place that has those events every year.
