Arson Montague: 11/10. What an icon. She is the moment. I want a full series surrounding her life. She had a Coffee Shop AU with Jack Barnabas and immediately stopped being evil and died. Poor girl. I can't help but find the circumstances of her existence so funny though. Her mom killed her dad while she's been pregnant. The cult didn't even want this to happen since she wasn't "conceived in the flame". According to the wiki they relented since "no one knew how that would even work". They threw away the childcare book because it didn't fit the aesthetic. She still turned out pretty okay. We love to see it.

Annabelle Cain: 8/10. We don't even know anything concrete about her childhood because she might not have told the truth. Go queen give us nothing! Yeah she terrified people at the arachnophobia study but she also used her powers to help Jarchivist and Co. so like? good for her? Confirmed Eldritch Horror.

Nikola Orsinov: 3/10 *in the tune* fuck this shit i'm out! fuck this shit i'm out! No but fr she gave me legit creeps and the forced skincare routine while hilarious to think about just makes me itch all over. Not a fan. Sorry bestie. Do have to give her points for being a whole Demon Mannequin and still being freaked out by The Coffin, as well as for being sassy with Elias. Points deducted for killing Danny

Nathaniel Thorp: 9/10 this man was requested and I had to look him up because i lowkey forgot but when I saw the start I remembered INSTANTLY I love him. He cheated death!! in a game!! what a madlad. Cut off his finger to prove a point lmao. Sad that he was a coward in the beginning but ah aren't we all? He died and then undied and then got better but couldn't eat or drink. What a character. @4bsent-damascus I hope you know you have excellent taste.

Melanie Queen: 8/10. Queen of owning her opinion. Not gonna call her a girlboss or whatever (she is but not for the eye thing) but if there's one thing she's unparalleled at it's owning her opinions. I feel for her! I really do. If I had a ghost bullet in my leg that decayed my morals enough to let me get all the pent-up anger out I would also not want it out. She was horrible to Jon for most of her run, but I also get it? Also, like fucking hell dude she had to mutilate her eyes to get her life back!!

Daisy Tonner: 8/10. She's a good person!! I love her. Points off for being a cop though. But she owned up to the harm she caused! And after disconnecting from The Hunt she worked VERY hard to make sure she wouldn't hurt people again and still allowed it to overtake her so she could protect her friends! Excellent character and she has incredible depth and complexity

Hezekiah WAKEly: 10.5/10 just wanted to lay in the dirt and get some sleep. What a mood. He didn't even really do anything! Yeah he was a little enthusiastic about the grave digging but I feel like that's understandable. If my only good sleep came after I dug graves I too would want to dig more graves. half a point off for murdering his friend though :/ I would've docked a whole point but his friend was a snitch and told the church which is pretty lame. Also it's so funny that the guy that wanted to sleep so bad had the last name Wakely

Maxwell Reimer: 5/10. His last incarnation kidnapped a kid which is a very bad thing to do, so don't. He is kind of a mid character to me honestly. Points for being a body hopper like my man JMag but eh. No real feeling about him sorry lads.

Tova McHugh: 5/10. Diversity Win! The person stealing your life force is a Demigirl! [This is from checking the wiki, where it's noted that Tova is referred to with both she and they pronouns.] This is more from personal dislike of the whole "I can do more so my life is worth more" philosophy they've got going on. Kind fucked up bestie. Was going to be a 4 but I kind of appreciate how much she's working for the philanthropy? In the sense of "I've taken their lives so I need to make it worth it so it wasn't in vain" which is has complicated feelings but I think it's good.

Micheal Crew: 6/10. Overall good character actually. He had some bad luck with the lightning strike and only went after the Lietners to get rid of the thing that was tormenting him. Devoted himself to The Vast and only then was a little insane. Don't think he even actually killed anyone? Just scares the shit out of them. Cool guy.

Julia Montauk: 7/10. Really cool to me actually. Feral, which we love to see. She's got such a fun dynamic with Trevor. She wasn't even like, a bad person at first. Just trying to live her life and then some pool of nightmare ink made heer feral and she's been living that monster hunting life ever since. Points off for keeping Gerry imprisoned and trying to kill Jon. Though I do wonder how she and Trevor managed to get into the UK at all considering they couldn't before

Trevor Herbert: 8.5/10. What a madlad. Showed up in season 1 like "what's up I'm Herb I'm homeless and I may have killed a man". Just wholesale unhinged. He also battled lung cancer. and addiction. and he won!! Incredible. Love his dynamic with Julia and I would've given him a 7 but I forgot about the addiction and lung cancer thing till I looked it up and I think that deserves an extra point that shit is hard.

- he is down. literally all the time. so long as he's not working on something, you can walk up to him and plop yourself in his lap and he'll wrap his arms around you without missing a beat

- sometimes if he's reading or otherwise mildly preoccupied with something small, he just kinda lets you bury your face in the crook of his neck and hold him close, and he brings a hand up to pet your hair, but otherwise he'll keep reading / writing / whatever

- OTHER times, you can almost see the fucking eagerness radiating off of him as soon as you get off work or school and go see him. he SO desperately wants to jump into your arms and pull you as close as he can into him, but he doesn't want to bother you if you dont feel like it - so he fidgets a little, asks about your day and tells you about his, and then - "so, i... would... would you mind if i...? or, we, i suppose-" - you gotta stop him now or it'll take the poor fella 10 minutes to ask if you can Hold Him for a while

- if you're in bed or laying somewhere together, he kinda... clings. hard. he actively holds you tight, not to the point of it hurting, but you probably wont have a lot of wiggle room unless you ask for it. he MIGHT also subconsciously digs his nails in a little sometimes, he's just so fucking touch starved dude he needs this so bad

- literally just loves being as close to you as possible. he's kind of a creep about it, loves feeling how warm you are and smelling your hair, but he means well! he has nothing but good intentions, he's just a fucking desperate nerd lmao

And fuck Annabelle Cane, I literally hate her with my entire being.

As a recovering addict, I would say... this is the best episode of the show, and I will also never, ever listen to it again.

Now the long version below the cut.

So I hate the Web, and I hate Annabelle Cane. To me, the other fears make sense on a primal human level. The Web is just...pure evil. It was born from the choices of evil people, and is only used for evil. Plain and simple. It is, at it’s core the worst fear and I hate it. There is nothing anyone can say that will make me not hate it.

Because of point number one, I refuse to believe in or subscribe to literally any Web!Martin theory. At all. Listen, MAG170 killed Web!Martin theories completely, imho, and any amount of theorizing in favour of Web!Martin is grasping at straws. But I refuse to believe that my perfect boy, who spent the entire time in the Lonely defending his abuser, who busted his own ass out of the Lonely bc he was in love would be part of something as evil as the Web. Like I just....I feel like there was no way to have had an episode, completely from the POV of Martin, and not gotten any spoken hint at him being even remotely connected to the Web. Just. No.

The argument at the beginning, if you could call that an argument: I have noticed, especially in recent episodes, that Jon seems influenced by the domain and especially the “statement giver” before he even begins his monologue. Like...kinda showing how the forced Knowing creeps up on him? This theory of mine has been in the back of my mind since MAG168 but I don’t know how to fully explain it because it just fully formed in my head after this episode. Something changed after Oliver’s statement, just like it did in Season 1, and again at the beginning of Season 4. In MAG170, Jon got separated from Martin, and I feel like...Jon wouldn’t have just....left Martin behind, even by accident, even during a monologue and I just...I feel like, to some degree, Jon had been at least a little bit influenced by the Lonely and got separated that way. And then in the Flesh, approaching Jared, Jon was confused that Martin didn’t find the flesh flowers beautiful, and the way he said it...it struck me as a very Jared thing to say. And then the way Jon talked in this episode, the way Jon got defensive and sniped at Martin just....it was very similar in feeling to Francis’ own words being mirrored back to them by the spider. Just....i’m not sure where I’m going with this, or even if it has sound basis in canon. It’s just been a pattern I’ve noticed but it was made clearer to me now.

I refuse to see that final interaction with Martin and Jon as anything other than two frustrated and exhausted men trudging through the apocalypse, and whatnot. Like I can just hear the absolutely lukewarm takes ppl will have and just. Nah, leave me out of it.

Loved the explanation about Knowing vs. Understanding.

Also loving Jon and Martin still discussing boundaries, and Martin has a right to said boundaries, and I’m getting where he’s coming from in now wanting to know, or for Jon to Know. I think I would be the same, not wanting to know if my feelings for someone or choices were my own or made for me, especially if I had gone through as much as Martin has. I rly did not see this as an omen of any kind, especially with them having that conversation in the middle of the Web’s domain.

This episode was hard. I’m recovering from alcoholism, I’ve recovered from cigarette addiction repeatedly, and also struggle with binge eating disorder which is often treated the same way as an addiction would in therapy. I relate to Francis as a recovering addict, and I thought this episode did an amazing job in illustrating addiction, and relapse, and the little ways addicts get undermined and undermine themselves in the recovery process. I don’t think this episode compared addiction to being a monster, nor do I think it downplayed the mental illness aspect of addiction. I made a post earlier about how these statements are mad with heavy bias, especially during the apocalypse, and they’re about fear. Recognizing that addiction is a mental illness and showing it as such does not translate fear, and if it did, I feel like that would be more the Corruption’s domain than any others. The Web is about not being in control, it’s about not having a choice or free will, it’s about feeling trapped by the choices you once made and are unable to make choices that contradict those. With addiction, that is a very real feeling. You can tell me all day that it’s mental illness, it’s rooted in depression or anxiety or whatever, and all you have to do is treat that cause and address it blah blah blah. I know. We know. But when you’re struggling with a relapse, or a near-relapse, it does not feel like you’re in control, it does not feel like you are driving your own body. It feels like someone else is behind the wheel, and you hate that person, and you are terrified of that person. That person is ruining your life and you feel like you cannot fucking stop them. But then you do! You can do it. And a lot of us succeed, and I feel like if the world hadn’t ended, Francis would be doing okay. Just like I’m doing okay. And the countless other recovering addicts I know. But in a fictional world, where our fears are actual entities, with physical avatars doing their bidding everywhere, in an apocalyptic hellscape where the fears EXIST ON OUR PLANE of reality, where people are forced to live through their greatest fears forever.

Idk, i just thought this was a really good episode and I’m debating blacklisting TMA until next week lmao.

I just wanted to add this bc I rly don't want ppl to eventually come at me about their personal experiences w addiction and just... Jonny confirmed that he wrote this episode from his own experiences as an addict and his fears regarding addiction, plus that season 5 is about fear not truth so.

actually i might steal a bit from Drawn To That Sort Of Library Magic by god_commissioned_me just to say that the thing jon needs money for is something super wholesome and important, like an lgbt+ support group, and that’s also the group he’s planning on bringing to the library, but he just. never fuckin mentions what the group actually is to martin so martin’s assuming its some sketchy group based on that first impression, and then he finds out jon is just a regular dude trying to do a Good thing and has to come to terms with the fact that he’s maybe a lil in love now.

i cannot stress enough that no one is deliberately playing with anyone else’s emotions in this version, all parties view the initial date as a purely transactional thing, the messy feelings just happen afterwards.

i think book!mel is very creepy and mysterious and i love the voices ive heard two diff narrators use for her. i like how her and stannis go from "yeah whatever this weird lady is helping me" to her being his second in command. Extremely curious about where her story will go, also i like her interactions w Jon. She just generally bewilders and creeps out the men who speak with her, it's funny.

show!mel was "cliche sexy sorceress with milf vibes" to me, idk ... Pls note I didnt watch past season 5, tho im not pleased with her ending. it was like. aight. Also really annoyed @ the weird forced Stannis/Mel sexytimes that were then promptly forgotten LMAO like they both were like 'ok that was weird lets never bring it up again'. like AGH that was so annoying because they have this cool mutual respect and platonic partnership/leadership thing in ADWD... while the show is like "lol they fucking now" bc OFC a man and woman have to fuck if theyre working together. idk that might be more of a me thing bc i really like close platonic relationships between men and women in media.

7. Is there anything I used to like but can’t stand now?

TWD as a whole

Man, I loved TWD. I was so invested on that show, on those characters. When Lori died and Carl had to shoot her? Man, that fucked me up. When the Governor killed Hershel in front of Maggie and Beth? U G H. The second half of S4 when they’re all divided into groups and find each other in Terminus? Talk about relief. Daryl and Beth? THE FEELS, NONNY. THE FEEEEEEELS. When they reach Alexandria, after being through hell? Again, talk about relief. Like I said, I was super invested on the show. But from S6 onwards, it just went downhill. Somewhere during S8 I stopped watching because I didn’t see the point in watching a badly written show that was way past its prime when I could be doing other things, things that brought me some kind of joy. I didn’t even watch when Carl got bit and died. That’s when the show jumped the shark, IMO. Then losing Rick and Maggie? Nah. I’ll stick to the comics. 

When I was a part of the TWD fandom, I was a huge believer in the “Beth survived the gunshot” theory (AKA Team Delusional/Defiance - I still see you, fam!). I read a lot of metas, I even wrote some of my own in my old blog. But seeing how all those very specific clues were there but there was no real resolution... IDK. I didn’t give up per se; I like to think she’s out there kicking walker ass with a crossbow, looking like a total badass with those scars. But far away from the Atlanta group, since the show (as far as S8) was a complete mess. 

I never felt so cheated in my life as I did with TWD (that is until GOT S8, lmao)

11. Is there an unpopular character you like love that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

Sansa Stark and Beth Greene

They’re both hated because the fandom thinks them weak. They’re both hated because they think them useless. They’re either too dumb and girly or too bossy. They’re either reliant on other people (which makes them a liability) or they’re suddenly too strong for their own good. They either cry too much or they’re stoic. They’re either stupid for believing or they’re stupid for not having hope. They’re either too weak or not strong enough. They stand up to the male fave and call them on their bullshit, but ofc nobody can do that, especially stupid girls like Sansa and Beth.

At least one of them got a happy(ish) ending.

I gravitate towards those type of characters. The ones that fandom likes to shit on just for existing. So I claim them as my faves and swear to protect them. I guess it’s in my nature. 

16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

The two last seasons of GOT

Apart from the writing, which I think we can all agree that is the one thing that needs changing the most, I’d make them a 10-episode season each. Have more time to properly develop the story without rushing it. 

But if we’re talking about the writing exclusively:

Season 7

The Winterhell plot. Don’t show Littlefinger do The Creep™ around Winterfell. The plot is about the Starklings working together, so let’s show that. Let the audience know that Littlefinger is fucking clueless about what’s coming for him.

The Dany-Cersei war. Give Cersei more to do than just drink wine and look at KL from her window. She’s Tywin’s daughter, FFS. Show her scheming and double-crossing people. Have Lannister forces take Dragonstone the minute Daenerys heads north. 

Bran. Let him have emotions, y’know, since he’s still a person. Show the conflict of having to live with the world’s past in your mind while still being a young man that defends his family fiercely.

Show Jon to be a player, be manipulative, in other words, make Pol!Jon a lil bit more obvious, for the people in the back. Also, give him his POV.

Make Dany feel more torn about the political conflict and the supernatural conflict, and not make it a line in the final episode of the season.

Season 8

Again, give Jon his POV.

Make RLJ about Jon, not Daenerys.

Show how RLJ changes different dynamics, not just J/onerys.

Show Sansa bonding with someone, anyone (her sister, Theon, Jon, Gilly) instead of her talking to the Hound about her abuse.

Have the Battle of Winterfell have more emotional impact.

Jon doesn’t ride Rhaegal.

Show the reactions of Arya and Sansa to RLJ.

Show the Starklings doing something else than fight.

Again, give Cersei more to do than just drink wine and look out of her window. Definitely don’t make her sleep with Euron.

Mention the burning of the food and the Tarlys.

People (Varys, Tyrion, Cersei) find out about what happened to Littlefinger.

Show that the North as a whole has legitimate reasons not to want Daenerys as their Queen.

Show Dany sharing some moments with Missandei and Greyworm, not just Jon.

Not kill Missandei (especially like that).

Have Arya use her faceless man abilities.

Let people (by people I mean northern lords and the like) find out about RLJ.

Have Dany and co. flee Winterfell in anger after people find out about RLJ.

Have Dany burn both Tyrion and Varys.

Cersei-Sansa reunion.

Sansa tries to raise her banners (and the Vale’s and the Riverland’s) against both Cersei and Daenerys.

Euron dies after killing Rhaegal.

Bran tells Jon about what Dany might do in KL, so Jon leaves to find her in time.

Jon finds Dany but she imprisons him under the charge of high treason.

Ep 5 plays out exactly the same, only that Missandei witnesses it all and from then on questions her loyalty towards Dany.

The massacre of KL is bigger. There’s a lot more losses.

Have Arya kill Dany instead of Jon.

Dragonpit meeting in which the lords and ladies of the different kingdoms declare the 7K to be independent again, the way they were before Aegon’s conquest.

Jon is liberated by the northern forces with the help of Missandei.

Missandei goes back to Naath, trying to find peace after seeing so much bloodshed and thirst for power.

The Starks go back to Winterfell. Sansa is named QITN as the oldest legitimate daughter of Eddard and Catelyn Stark. Jon and Bran are her closest advisors. Arya decides to go west of Westeros.

A follower brought my attention to it and usually I ignore pathetic creeps with no real life who spent all their time obsessing over others on internet (and with not more than 7 or 8 followers in total LOL) but I’m particularly addressing this cuz ever since I made an anon tumblr account to use on my phone (where no one is blocked), I have been seeing this one nutcase constantly polluting Dean tags with their never ending negativity, whining and bitching and I’m always like, ‘no fucking wonder Dean hates some of his fans.’

Surprise! That’s the same nutcase who’s screenshots are these from. 😂😂😂 I also realized this is the person who was sending me all that anon hate. And warning for you Ambrollins shippers/writers, if you are getting anon hate, this might be the creep sending you that.

Anyways, I was tempted to drag this nutcase for being such a whiner and always posting screenshots and name dropping blogs and writers and shippers behind their backs despite the fact that they themselves have a whole damn blog dedicated to being a creepily obsessive shipper. But I never did so, cuz I try my best to avoid getting into any kind of drama that doesn’t involve me directly.

6.- Dat raven from Oldwarts reaches WF (OK but like where is Edd’s raven about Bran???) and Jonny boy is in Brooding mode, he calls for the Lords to tell them the situation, they are not happy at all about being all buddy-buddy with a Targ (and rightfully so) but Jon has a good reasons for going himself (even if I don’t like it):

- He is KitN and unlike other rulers J0n has already proven (remember when he wanted to have a 1 on 1 fight with Ramsey so no one else would die??) he takes responsability over his people and if it’s a trap he’ll rather sacrifize himself than an innocent.

- He is the only one who saw and fought a WW and the only one who can explain how much of a threat they are.

-The raven asked specifically for his presence, and to be allies (they both seek that) there should be some amount of trust, he NEEDS their help after all.

Of course it’s not so simple, because D@nyy has Melissandre with her (you know the same J0n exiled) and she wants him to surrender the North to her (which wasn’t mentioned in the raven and OH!! That if we believe the leaks she is gonna send him on a pointless stupid hunt to prove he says the truth (so no trust on her part I see)

Also, Sansa speaks up to remind him about their grandfather and how he was invited and then killed by a Targ (very fair point) and of course she doesn’t want him to leave!!!

Some fellow shippers (I’m not saying your feelings/thoughts aren’t valid guys you are allowed to have your own reading and I am in no way trying to impose my view) mentioned they were wating for her to include ‘you’re abandoning me!’ but she already did in adding home, what makes WF his home is not the fact that he was raised there but that his family is! So in a subtle way she did acuse him of abandoning her.

And can you all blame her??? Sansa already lost so much, and wheter you ship them or not, it’s clear she loves him and doesn’t wanna loose him.

Problem is Jon is the same, y'all remember he wanted to fuck off to Essos after being brought back?? He had nothing left to loose and no fucks to give anymore, Enters Sansa giving him a purpose to live and someone to give a fuck about so of course he is gonna do anything in his power to protect her and the home she fought so hard for!! He is once again gonna fight for her now on the political side and honestly I dig so much this ship!!!

Anyway Jon is not getting much support (even Little Lyanna doesn’t want him to go) but he already made up his mind, Sansa is worried about who the fuck is gonna run the place in his absence and, be still my heart, because he says the North is hers (my shipper heart!!!!) and she is sooooo touched. Also that Jaime/ Brienne parallel.

Creepyfinger is pleased and honestly I can’t wait for Jon to choke the slimy bitch.

7.- Back in the Citadel, Sam says to Slughorn (I can’t remember his actual name, sorry) he knows how to cure greyscale (how very convinient) but hold your horses Potter!!! the thing is dangerous and you really shouldn’t do it. But of course he is gonna do it anyway, because I guess it’s more important to cure his ex-Lord Commander’s son than keeping his place on the Citadel (Slughorn said the procedure was forbbiden so I’m guessing they could expell him for this) to become a Maester for the NW like he was supposed to. Honestly this is all so convinient to have one of D@€nerys stans out and about again *sigh* Also the dialogue was like a porn and I was laughing way to hard even though the scene was disgusting.

8.- Eww that transition was just ewwww I’m glad I wasn’t eating when I watched it, so now we have Arya on her way to KL, and Yay! Hot Pie, I Love him so much, and LMAO Arya and her pies.

So at last Arya hears about the BoB and in that moment she forsakes her revenge to go home (Imma cry again) I think that’s the best damn decision because things are going to be ugly in the south.

9.- Jon in the crypts!!! (It’s happening y'all!!!) I must say that’s a pretty good looking statue of Ned tho. So LF is supposedly trying to get in his good graces but is he really??? I mean his words and tone are polite, he talks about how HE was the one who sent Ned’s bones back to WF (ya you trick ass bitch but you got him killed!!!) and wistully talks about how despite their differences they both loved Cat, and then smoothly reminds Jon about how Cat didn’t care about him and even says she was wrong (I called it!!! That LF was gonna say the last best chance quote from the trailer to Jon) but why was he talking about such a thing, we know Cat (and his bastard status) is a very touchy subject for Jon, as a matter of fact on a deeper level one starts to think maybe he was trying to provoke Jon (Starks. Quick tempers, slow minds is his motto afterall) and even I was surprised by how calm he acted when LF wanted a thank you for saving my life (that FUCKING creep). Until we get the ‘I Love Sansa, like I loved her mother’ it’s such an intresting way of phrasing it, isn’t it?? Because moments before LF states he loved Cat in a romantic way, and when he says he loves Sansa adds the last sentence to leave no room of doubt about what kind of Love is it and what his intentions are. What shaked me was Jon’s expression, he was furious, while moments ago he let LF words slide, a single mention of Sansa and he wants to kill the creeper. Jon’s threat is both terrifying and unexpected ( also I know everyone was freacking out about the sister but Jaime also called Cersei that and they had like 3 children together, same applies to but J0n said D@ny’s name OMG twu wuv, like LMAO Qyburn also said her name and I don’t see anyone shipping them) if LF wanted to provoke a reaction out of him it wasn’t that one definitely. Far to raw and protective to be brotherly.

Jon’s anger doesn’t fade even when he let’s the little creeper go!! He is downright murderous. But then he looks at Sansa and it’s like his whole demeanour changes, I was like what in the Seven hells is this!!!! And the little wave gives me hope they’ll see one another again in this season.

Now what I find real intresting is that last bit with LF. He gets outta those crypts, baffled and massaging his neck, when suddenly he seems to figure something out (you can see it in his eyes) and his first reaction to whatever he was thinking was looking at Sansa (she is looking at the spot Jon just left in such a wistfull and sad manner) and I think he knows something is happening there… Or maybe I’m delusional.

10.- Arya and Nymeria reunite and all is sad, but I think it linda makes sense, Nymeria is not her because Arya herself is not her fully, she had to strip from her identity to become a faceless man, and was using that to take revenge, but now she is stepping back from that destructive path because she has the option to come back home and it’s beginning to be herself again. maybe when she finally does Nymeria will come to her.

11.- I totally lost my shit in here, so Yara and Ellaria are flirting and drinking (so much for this is a war!! ) and far to relaxed and distracted to be part of a group that wants to take the Iron Throne, (Theon is super done with them btw) suddenly all hell breaks loose and Euron’s armada is on da house (he got to get that gift for his Lady) everyone gets crushed, the snakes are murdered and Ellaria/Yara taken prisioners. Also Theon is like LOL no I’m out. But are we supposed to think OMG Euron is totally GOT’s Jack Sparrow!! Cuz I think Ellaria and Yara (also Varys and Theon) were total dumbasses. In being sneaky 101 we learnt that if you wanna smuggle someone somewhere you gotta be disguised (see: LF getting Sansa on the Eyre and Varys taking Tyrion to Essos) Ellaria and Yara had those huge Greyjoy banners like 'here we are!!! The enemy!!!) and they also already knew about Euron’s armada but they choose to believe he was just gonna stay in Pyke pouting.

Like I said totally moronic!!! They could have disguised the ships and the people, traveling in broad daylight and maybe then they could have succeded.

Problem is everyone underestimating Cersei (except Sansa) even when they worked for her (Varys) and lived with her (Tyrion) and that’s what is allowing her to gain footing. As of now D@nys lost her armada and Dorne, her only allies are the Tyrell and with the Unsullied gone her only option is to go dracarys on KL (fuck the writers for this tho, she was actually making a good decision and you force her to hurt people, but maybe it’s intentional)

Also Sam is helping Jorah, but the leaks said the Tarly were going to die by D@nys hands. Looks like someone is gonna regret his decisions.

Anyway, leaving out the Stark bit I wasn’t very happy with this episode because the leaks keep being confirmed and they are still such bullshit (still I’m hoping some or most are fake)

i'm just going to call this got plot now

even tho no one cares so. jaime.

he is brought back into the war with sansa's comment of, "i wanted to see your sister executed. it seems i wont get the chance to," and storms off. now i know youre thinking oh well shes just saying shes not physically there for it, but everyone already knew that: she is in winterfell. so what shes saying is, based on the fact that the iron fleet just wiped the floor with dany's ass, the targaryens are about to be fucking obliterated and cersei's reign will continue.

so that leads to jaime's conflict. the story being spun (which d&d are also cultivating with their comments during inside the episode) is that jaime feels like his sister is going to win, and despite "trying" to be happy with brienne (spoiler alert: he is happy), he always goes back to cersei "like an addict". this would ultimately mean his plotline would be for literally nothing, and his character development is destroyed just like that.

now, while that seems a plausible thing for d&d to do.....i do not feel that is the case. because remember that good old "cersei, your little bro is gonna kill you" prophecy we've put on the back burner? well. surprise, bitch.

when sansa tells jaime that update, he begins to realize oh my fucking god: either dany is going to destroy millions of people in her rage, or my sister is going to win. and i dont like those odds. so despite actually loving brienne - which, he chose to stay with her in the fuckin north, yall, the reality is if he actually still "loved" cersei he would never have made this choice in the first place, and one ass beating is not going to change that monumental decision but i digress - he is making the choice to journey back to the red keep and kill cersei.

now. heres the thing. ive already mentioned d&d wants us to believe jaime is betraying us. and there is a second red herring that is going to add fuel to that flame: arya.

shes heading back south with the hound, under the guise of she has someone to kill. now we already know gregor is on her list, but obvious clegane bowl 2k19 is happening (and she must know that too), so who does that leave? miss cersei ass bitch. and we already know arya has been the hero slaying the dragon in the episode prior, so naturally, we are going to be inclined to believe that is where her arc is headed.

d&d also said during the previous inside the episode that they wrote arya's plotline in a way that we forgot about what she was doing and that's why the resolution was so dramatic, because she came out of absolutely fucking nowhere. so now, they obviously can't do that again, and they know that they can't.

so they also know because of that expectation of arya being the unsuspecting hero, all eyes will be on her throughout the final battle so the narrative doesnt get the drop on us again. we will expect her to destroy cersei as she creeps her way through the red keep. and she will get there, at the pivotal moment, with cersei at the edge of her blade - and jaime lounging luxouriously in the background, presumed by arya to be a double crosser (we'll come back to this shortly...).

but somehow....cersei will get the better of her. either through some trick, or arya's death (because honestly, what could stop arya besides the god of death?), because we cannot have the same hero twice (which we know d&d says they do, as thats what they said they did with jon's intentionally useless actions at the climax of the last episode lmao).

but just when we think all hope is lost.......jaime. fucking. shanks. that. bitch.

yes, jaime will indeed return to king's landing under the guise of loving his sister once again. he will seduce his way into her nest, perhaps feign joy over their son the future king of the realm. he and yuron will have some words - perhaps come to blows - and he will be present for arya's bitter defeat. but. he will fulfill his destiny and kill that bloody bitch - and perhaps he will also die in the process.

now, i know we all want to think dany, jon, or tyrion could ultimately also kill cersei, as they all have motivations to do so. but. i believe their plotlines are much, MUCH more tangled up in what is happening between the succession shennanigans. the battle for them will be spent in tensions with one another, dany fighting madness and rage and fear of jon that will come to a head in some drastic way; jon will be not only physically fighting but dealing with what his role in the kingdom is and if he is willing to be a ruler, his view of that position shifting as he watches dany burn her people alive; and tyrion will be mediating the two as best he can along with staying alive at the bare minimum. im not confident they will ever meet face to face with cersei again.

and yes, i could be wrong, but what a waste of jaime's character would it be to have him want cersei again!!! and what good will his presence do?!?! cersei has made up her mind to go to war, his words would do nothing to stop it. he cannot fight in an impactful way, and he knows he can't. and he has NO interest in being king much less a leader, hes made that clear time and again. so i think itd be a complete disservice to what d&d has committed us to emotionally to completely obliterate all of that for, what.....this weird incestuous love.....thing??? (besides, jaime's redemption is almost 100% due to d&d, and they are way too narcissistic to blow the one thing they've done right lmao (or are they?).)

no...this is jaime's task. the kingslayer and the queenfucker. he ended the targaryen reign and began the lannister reign, and now he will end the lannister reign and begin the targaryen reign, this is his destiny, and i believe he already knows that.
