Eyes and smile. I even forget people's faces, but still remember details in their eyes or the shape of their incisors or some shit. When I think of my friends, I picture the way their faces scrunch up when they smile. I love life

sigh... handball, volleyball, swimming, martial arts (a few)... i fucking hate sports </3 swimming is fun as an activity, not as a sport. and martial arts are fun from like a choreography standpoint. i cant stand touching people. or things. especially balls. or people with balls. and people's balls.

But like fr i would love to open up corpses for a living that would be cool as FUCK. i've been discussing my work-related needs with friends and tbh i just want something that's mentally stimulating enough (difficult puzzles to solve !!!!) while giving me some breathing room (whether by work hours or by physical labor, but i cant have it be too strenuous ykno? i got disabilities and shit). fyi the daydream also consists of me writing to my heart's content – def doing that on the side

So, I hope this is okay to ask, but, what first drew you to fanfic as a whole? What was the first fandom/s you became invested in to give it a try? And what inspired you to begin creating your own pieces of work? No worries if you’d rather not say! And I hope you have a lovely day/night regardless.

GREAT question and I answer with some shame in my heart my first fics were Johnlock, written after I watched s1-3 and before s4 came and spat in everyone’s face with poor writing and the worst queerbait I have seen to date.

I think what draws us to fanfiction is filling in the holes left by the creators, emotional holes, plot holes, missing scenes, inexplicable actions, potential what-if timelines, (and my personal fav) missed potential. That’s certainly what got me! I wrote like 10 fics for the tv show “the gifted” just bc the show had a budget of $9.30 and none of that went to writing. A lot of the fics I write are just me going “no. Fuck off. Ur wrong. I can do it better” 😂😂😂 fanfic also gave me a space to feel more seen when I realized I was queer with little to no rep in 2015.

As far as my own work, that started wayyyyy earlier back when I was like 10. Wrote my first book (don’t ask. It sucked. I’m rewriting it slowly but surely). And I never stopped writing! It was definitely a form of dissociation at first, but it’s grown to be a career and the loml 💕💕 as far as the why, I guess I just love character creating and worldbuilding???? Idk ask a fish why it swims. I can tell u what inspired each of my individual works, but I couldnt tell u why writing in general?
