got straight up sick thinking about mac and joyce coming out to the rest of their family. cw for any homophobia or transphobia mentioned

you can imagine mac desperately sitting his mom down, trying so hard to get her attention for just a moment, just a second, to tell her about something really important to him. you can imagine him getting progressively more and more stressed the more his mom just wont listen.

his extended family would definitely be easier on account of them all being flaming homosexual men but theyd all for sure do the "i was waiting for when youd finally realize!" spiel and that would actually make mac end it right there i think. theres a certain type of anxiety in telling people who think youre already queer that you are in fact queer. you could be queer in the wrong way to them, they could be disappointed by your identity, they can get too into helping you figure yourself out, and i cant imagine how insecure constant "egg" jokes would make me about my identity. all this to say i think mac coming out to his queer family would be harder on him than trying to come out to his mom

and then. joyce. god bonnie makes me wanna do awful things to the point where i can see joyce just never telling her and she never asks questions. maam your "son" named "charlie" has noticeable breasts are you really gonna see no evil it?

its hard to figure out what bonnies actual reaction to joyce being trans would be. i think theres like. 3 ways it could go. 1) bonnie blames herself for whatever reason. for joyce being trans period, for joyce not figuring it out sooner, for not being able to help, just generally feeling guilt iver the fact that her daughter is a woman. 2) she tries to pretend its fine surface level but theres clearly a different way she sees joyce now. theres a lot more tension there than before. its never acknowledged or brought up. they both hope if they just ignore it it wont boil over into something they have to deal with. 3) is the worst option. theres always the classic "but i gave you so much" but i think thatd be a more internalized thing for bonnie. not something she actively expresses to joyce, because shes supposed to be a good mother. but i dont doubt those feelings would be there. for some reason a lot of parents let repressed resentment towards their children bubble up inside them

realistically though i dont think joyce WOULD tell her mom. it feels like a show bit or sketch for joyce to have to explain to mac that he has to deadname and misgender her when they go to her moms house and mac to be totally lost for most of it.

if anything she would only come out to her mom for convenience so she doesnt have to make sure mac wont gender her properly accidentally and start a whole thing. but thatd still be such a hassle

— an: visited my family as I finally moved closer to them, and decided to make them dinner! was excited until I was the only one at the dinner table :) I also want to apologise for going mia! I moved to a different state and I still need to get all my stuff settled! also note that I’ve never played a damn cod game in my entire life and only know who’s who by reading fics written by others or from doing research for 10 seconds, so please excuse any cod mistakes!

after a long day of training with the 141, you’ve decided that you’d make a nice meal for everyone. you enjoyed cooking for them, and it’s been a while since you’ve last been able to make them, and yourself, a decent meal.

you knew it wasn’t going to be easy—the kitchen was loaded with mres—but luckily, the chefs from last night left a couple things behind.

you found mac ‘n cheese, green beans, chicken strips, and lettuce. it was more than plenty to work with, but you were excited to cook regardless.

opening the cans of carrots and green beans, you dumped them into their respective pots, adding salt and pepper as well as butter, to them both. you placed the chicken on a tray and popped them in the oven, and chopped up the lettuce and placed it into the fridge.

after about fifteen minutes, everything was done! you were happy and smiling and very excited to feed your teammates! you knew they loved your cooking, and they were so grateful when you did cook.

you grabbed out plates and cups, putting a little bit of everything onto their plates. you knew that most of them didn’t mind their food touching, but alejandro was sorta picky and didn’t like it when his veggie juice touched other foods. adding tea or water into certain cups, you’ve backed away to admire your work. it was beautifully done and you felt so proud!

“boys! dinner!” you yelled, and much like a stampede, they all came running—except for könig? “made y’all chicken, mac ‘n cheese, salad, and some green beans with carrots to go along with it. it’s important to eat your veggies.”

“thank you lass,” ghost and a few others said. you knew that even though some didn’t say their thanks, that they were still thankful.

“thank you love,” price chimed in, after you’ve passed all plates out—except for königs and yours. they all walked over to the room next to the kitchen and flicked the tv on, three of them on the couch and two of them in the loveseats.

grabbing a plate yourself, you proceeded to add whatever you wanted onto your plate. you always served yourself last when it came to making them food. you didn’t mind, you knew very well that they required more calories due to how much more extensive their training was.

you looked at königs plate, popping it into the microwave for a minute to keep it warm at least. you knew it wasn’t far behind the others, always showing up after the others all have settled into their seats. you grabbed yours and looked at the boys: there weren’t any seats left, and you didn’t like sitting on the floor. you sighed quietly and sat at the table near the kitchen.

there was a lump in your throat, however. you were so excited to finally cook for your team, for your family, but then they go into a different room and turn the tv on. you wanted to talk them, wanted them to talk to you, share stories, all that jazz. the laughter they shared just then didn’t help the lump go down either. your elbows were hanging off the table and your fork poked at your plate. you weren’t even hungry anymore.

you were too far into your mind that you didn’t notice könig grab his plate from the microwave and sit down at the table until he reached out for your hand. you looked up at him and although you couldn’t see it, you knew his eyebrows were furrowed, his eyes staring at you.

“are you okay, y/n?” he sounded so worried, removing his hand away as he sat straighter, raising his mask just to his nose before he went to take a bite.

“not really that hungry anymore.” you cleared your throat, offering him a weak smile as you stared back at him.

“pft, such nonsense maus! this is really good.”

you looked away, biting your lip as you sat in silence for a brief moment. you looked back at könig, only to see that he has his spoon up in your face, offering you a bite despite having your own plate right there. “c’mon, take a bite!” he shoved it closer to your face and you laughed softly, allowing the spoon to push past your lips.

könig pulled the spoon away and chuckled. “see? it’s good isn’t it, ja?”

you felt much better now that your best friend was eating at the table with you, making you laugh <3

Summary: Thanksgiving at the Avengers compound.

AN: Part 2 is finally here!! Natasha redemption just had to happen, no explanation needed! While writing this I had an idea for a Part 3 --> friends to lovers??

[Part 1: Silence ; Part 3: Surprise]

Friendship breakups hurt but best friend breakups hurt even more, it hurt like nothing else in the world. And that pain os hard to get rid off.

It had been months before you could trust people again, to open yourself up and let new people in. A long and hard road was behind you and a longer one was still in front of you. Thanksgiving was coming up and you knew you couldn't say no to the avengers. They were still your family.

Your heart pounded loud as you walked into the compound for the first time in months. The welcome for you was warm, it made you tear up in happiness and sadness. You missed this, you missed them so much. 

After greeting everyone and getting hugged by so many, you sat down next to Yelena. She instantly told you how much she missed you and then continued by talking about her new knives that were made out of vibranium. Out of the corner of your eye you saw Natasha sitting in a corner extremely quiet. She starred into nothing, as if she was in another world but you knew she was aware what happened around her by her hard body language. 

The hurtful words Natasha once said to you silenced her. She did not utter a single word besides a hello when she is in the compound. Hurting people with words was something she did not want to happen ever again so she chose to say nothing anymore. 

It pained you to see her so out of herself. Even tough she hurt you deeply, you wanted nothing more but for the ex-assassin to be happy. Yelena saw your expression and explained that the red head rarely talked anymore. You've never imagined Natasha being so quiet. She was always this outgoing and open person with you, maybe because you both came from a similar background, but seeing her there not even muttering curse words at the avengers who did something stupid was you did not wanna see ever again.

Wanda came into the room to announce the food being almost ready. Pietro then suggested to start listing things we were thankful for. Tony started by saying he's thankful for his Wife Pepper and his daughter Morgan. Kate was thankful for the opportunity to train with Clint all year long. Yelena was thankful for a life-long Mac & Cheese sponsorship she recently got. The others were mostly thankful for their family and friends. 

Pietro came into the room while carrying a lot of food, Wanda was close behind him doing things with her hands that the magic carried the food to us. She asked of we're all done with our list of being thankful. As everyone was about to say yes or even nod, Natasha spoke up. 

"I'm thankful for Y/N coming tonight" Nobody thought she would speak but your presence changed everything for her. Before anybody could start teasing Nat, the witch said she was thankful for Pietro's health after his almost fatal accident. He of course agreed to it and spoke out a toast. Which only consisted of a Didn’t see that one coming.

You couldn't tear your eyes from the black widow. Figuring her out was like a one color puzzle, very difficult and seemingly impossible but still very possible. Your staring must have been long since Natasha suddenly looked into your direction and caught your gaze. She too couldn't tear her eyes away from you. The facade she held up, started to crumble down and for the first time in forever you could see her vulnerability. You could also see brokenness, regret, apologies, her insecurities and the hate she has for herself. As much as you hated her for what she did, your heart couldn't bear/endure seeing her like this. It's time for both of you to talk.

Tony somehow organized a small thanksgiving after party with like 50 people you didn't know. You got yourself a drink and went to the floor above the party. In times like these, you craved the tower with its height. You loved to look over the city whenever you had the chance to. It gave you a calming effect but also gave you a lot of intrusive thoughts.

Natasha noticed how you danced around her all night, you did not really avoid her but tried to put off a conversation. When she saw you going upstair she followed you with a good amount of distance until she figured out a perfect moment to join. That moment would never cone so she pushed herself towards you. The Avenger put extra weight in her steps to alert you of her coming. 

As you felt her presence next to you, all the words you wanted to say were gone. It was weird that even with the awkwardness and dread you both felt, the familiarity between you felt like home.

"I really am grateful for you coning today." Natasha was the first one who spoke. "They're as much your family as they are for me. I don't want you to lose that." 

"Well technically I already lost a part of it." She turned her gaze on you but you refused to meet her eyes with the following words. "You. You have always been a part of that family."

Only after you looked at her she started to apologize properly. "What I said to you was cruel and wrong. I apologies for hurting you and Agent Shaw." Natasha wished her apology would fix everything but even if it would fix things, she knew nothing will ever be the same. "I also apologize for my silence, I should have explained what was bothering me instead of pushing you away. And I know that there's nothing I can say or do to fix us. Just know that I'm deeply sorry." 

"You don't want forgiveness?" You wondered aloud. She shrugged before telling you she didn't deserve forgiveness so she won't ask for it. 

Her words broke your heart in a way it didn't before. "Nat." You whispered with tears in your eyes. "Don't do this to yourself, please. People make mistakes and even though yours was hurtful, you still deserve all the good. You're not that monster anymore, you never were."

"I see you still got that big heart." Leaning onto the railing, Natasha finally started to relax. "Told you years ago that your big heart is gonna be your death. You can't just hand it out to people who did you wrong." 

"In a way it was my fault." She stopped you. "Your sexuality was non of my business. You don't owe me insight of your love life. I should've realized that the moment you came out but I felt too betrayed. Thought you didn't trust me enough."

"I think the incident had to happen." You smiled to yourself as the fuzzy feelings came back to you. "It opened my eyes and I realized something."

"Why am I even surprised that you saw something good in pain?"

"You don’t want to know what I realized?" You furrowed your eyebrows together, kinda eager to tell her but were still very anxious about it.

"You were always better at figuring me out then I do myself so you tell me, am I ready for what you wanna tell me?"

"You're like a one colored puzzled right now!!" You grunted in frustration.

"I'm the Black Widow after all." She smirked teasingly. You smiled and shook your head. "I still love you Nat, I hope you know that. And I stop you right now before you say I shouldn't. Humans make mistakes, that's what makes us humans. You're worthy of love."

"But how am I supposed to fix this mess? Is there even a way to fix us?" The hopelessness in her voice was clear. It was  strange to see Natasha not realizing minor things.

"Your apology was a first step. Learn from your mistakes and don't repeat them. It's all I want from you right now. This is a second chance and I hope you take it." Natasha turned towards you. "Can I hug you?" 

You opened your arms for her before she happily embraced you. Natasha was shorter than you so she was able to snuggle her face in your neck. Both of you felt such a relief to have each other back. 

There was no better feeling than this, she was home for you.

Home. 

There is no place like home.

Could you write what the tmnt boys would be like/do on a rainy day with their s/o who loves rain and thunderstorms? I hope you have a great day!

As someone who dislikes rain and has a fear of thunderstorms....yes I will do this

Rainy Day

By themselves:

None of the guys like leaving the lair (unless it's super important) in rainy weather. It's cold, and the sewers water level rises and gets all over their pants (even more than normal) and they just end up soaked to the bone

So they stay home and relax until the rains over

Raph and Mikey sleep in and catch up on some much needed zzz's

I feel like Raph doesn't like thunderstorms, (he had a nightmare when he was a kid and got woken up by a loud stroke of thunder) so the first brother he sees he'll kinda stick to for the whole day.

They don't mind, everybody is in a really chill mood and Raph's nice company when he's not yelling

Leo doesn't like to stay in bed super late so he'll get up at his normal time and just meander around the lair until someone else gets up

Donnie will either go to bed, or sleep in. He takes rainy days as mental health days, he'll sleep, and eat (all three meals!) with his family and take a nice long shower or bath. It's one of the few days that he actually shuts his brain off.

Splinter still has them train but goes easy on them, simple stuff they've done and mastered a hundred times. (He does it so he can praise them and tell them how proud he is of them)

With an S/O

Their ideal rainy day would be waking up in bed snuggled up with you hearing the rain.

Mikey wants to watch movies with you, or if you feel like it, he'll dare you to try and beat his some of his favorite video game high scores.

Donnie will invite you to join him in his shower/bath. (Let him wash your hair, please, it's one of his favorite things)

Leo won't stay in bed all day, he feels unproductive if he does, but he still wants you by his side. He just wants to do mundane things. Brushing your teeth together, that sleepy small talk as you both get breakfast but have to be quiet so you don't wake anybody else up.

Mikey insists that you help him cook dinner, rain just makes him want to cook big meals. So he'll drag you to the kitchen and teach you how to make their favorite meal (it's probably Mac and cheese)

They have a giant family meal, they invite April, Casey, Vern, and the six of you sit around the living room and eat. (The dining table isn't big enough for all of them). (April, Casey, and Vern wouldn't come over if it was raining too hard, but the boys would make an effort to call April and just check in.

Depending on what season it is, they'll put on a movie that correlates to it. If it's October it'll be a spooky movie, or something supernatural, in late Novemebr and December its Christmas movies.

They'll argue a little bit on movies, but it all stops when Splinter comes in and reminds them of the Remote Rule. Whoever gets the remote first gets to pick the movie.

They'll turn down the jokes, and teasing, and sex jokes and comments when Splinters in the room. But without him its rare that all 4 of them will be quiet for the whole movie

After the movie they all bid each other goodnight and start getting ready for bed.

Donnie and Mikey turns off all their big lights and turn on fairy lights all around their room.

Raph and Leo are willing to do face masks, skin care, and or painting their nails if you want to

In the end it's just a chill day where the boys turn off their brains and do some self care and spend time with their family

In most of the aus, there's no need to say that Wukong and Macaque need a very long, long heart to heart conversation a out everything that happened between them and the question of just WHAT they are to each other now, but I feel that goes doubly so in the Slow Boiled Au. Because where it's easy to see, Wukong was mostly in the wrong (although Macaque certainly wasn't entirely innocent) in both Canon LMK and in most of the other aus... in Slow Boiled Au it isn't quite like that. They BOTH hurt each other greatly, Macaque for abandoning Wukong when he had needed him most and attacking him, and Wukong for lashing out while he was under the mountain and killing Macaque during the Journey. They both genuinely hurt each other the most out of anyone else, but at the same time, had it not happened that way, then Yubei wouldn't exist. They wouldn't have what they have NOW if they hadn't had the pain of the past. And that's something they need to talk about, especially if Macaque wants to step up as a parent and be there for Wukong's daughter... and to make it up to Wukong for hurting him and abandoning him to his extremely risky pregnancy alone.

In Slow Boiled Au, it's different because the cards are more stacked in Wukong's favor, because after everything that had happened, Wukong has every right to demand Macaque leave his life and never interact with their cub. Because Yubei isn't really Macaque's despite her appearance and them claiming she is, there is no DNA connection. She is Wukong's and Wukong's alone.

But Wukong also cannot deny the pain and suffering he put his mate through as well as how Macaque's actions had led to Yubei's creation.

I can just imagine Wukong and Macaque laying in their bed one night, tired after the day, and Macaque finally getting the courage to ask Wukong that question

"What are we?"

And Wukong... probably won't have an answer. They never absolved their courtship as mates, but it's so much more complicated now with the pain they put each other through and the cub. And now Macaque is pregnant as well, complicating things even more.

Yuuuup

These two have a whole new chapter of their lives to write, and it kinda scares them?

Wukong and Mac post-S3 are cautiously introducing eachother back into their lives. Its a very slow, careful process. Wukong doesn't want to lose contact with Mac forever, abd he wants Mac to be in his cub's life and vice-versa... but Wukong also harbors some resentment for how Macaque was quick to judge not only his pilgrim brothers but also his new found family. He wants Mac to actually *talk* to him about why he was upset by these people and have Mac give them true apologys before they can move forward.

Macaque on the flip-side, is going through the same crisis of parenthood Wukong had many centuries ago, and is struggling with some deep self-hatred over his rash behavior + genuine doubt if Wukong still feels love for him in his heart. He wants to be there for little Yuebei, and be a good mate to Wukong, but he isn't sure *where* to begin.

Macaque and Wukong share a nest. They care for the baby together. They tend to the island and the smaller monkeys. They go into the city to meet friends. They help MK hone his skills. They're happy to do almost everything together... but they need to sit down and talk before they become comfortable calling eachother "mates" again.

Then S4 happens, forcing both monkey parents to navigate eachothers past memories in order to reunite and save their kid(s).

“Cole, they’re here!” I shouted rushing down the stairs to the front door.

“I almost have the last piece on!” He shouted back.

Cole and I had spent the better part of the morning baby-proofing the whole house in preparation for Henry. Chris Wideman trusted Cole and me to watch his son for the day while he and his wife could spend some much-needed alone time together.

It wasn’t until this morning that Cole and I realized how unfit our place was to have a small child in it. Sharp corners are everywhere, with delicate items within reach and electrical sockets open. Cole ran to the hardware store, finding baby-proofing items while I hid away vases and small objects that could be choking hazards.

Cole joined me in the front hall, opening the door for Chris and his family. “Hey man, what’s up?” Chris asked Cole. Henry was nestled into his dad's chest, with his wife Caroline following behind with a diaper bag I took from her.

When Henry recognizes Cole, he leans away from his dad's arms and reaches for him. Chris laughs, handing Henry off. “Listen, thanks again for doing this. We needed a day off.” Chris says.

“Oh no problem man, I love hanging out with my favorite Wideman.” Cole says, cooing at Henry.

Chris and Caroline say goodbye, leaving us alone although now with a kid. We bring Henry into the living room, quickly being drawn to the mini-sticks we had set up in the living room. We played a couple of games of mini-sticks, only receiving a few balls to the face from Cole and Henry.

After a little while, Henry tells us he’s hungry so I go to make lunch. I go into the living room to ask Cole and Henry what they want to drink for lunch but halt when I see Cole scoop Henry up into his arms, making Henry erupt into a fit of giggles.

A wave of happiness washes over me as I watch Cole and Henry joke around. Cole and I have never explicitly talked about kids and I have never been 100% sure that I even wanted kids. But seeing my boyfriend with a kid currently fake wrestling in the middle of the living room, I can’t help but picture Cole a few years in the future with a kid of our own.

Cole spots me in the doorway and smiles at me. “What do we want to drink for lunch?” I ask the pair of them.

“Juice!” Henry shouts out.

“C’mon bud, let’s go wash up for lunch.” Cole says.

I fill some cups with juice while Cole and Henry wash their hands. When they’re done, Cole sits Henry down at the table. I feel his arms snake around my waist while I scoop mac and cheese into our bowls. “I saw you looking at us… are you getting ideas?” He teases.

“Not yet.” I laugh. “I was just thinking…”

“About what?”

“Just you as a dad.” I say. “How good you’d be as one.”

I turn around and wrap my arms around his neck. “Aw, look at you trying to domesticate me.” Cole joked.

I roll my eyes, snaking out of his grasp and bringing Henry his mac and cheese, which he dug into straight away. As I serve me and Cole our portions, he resumes his position behind me.

“I can’t wait to have kids with you.” He whispers, pressing a soft kiss to my neck. “But let me make you my wife first, then we can get to the kids bit.”

I laugh, putting our bowls down and eating lunch with Henry.

The Boys

***My weird head-canons about the boys. Don’t judge me, I know I’m weird. 🤪***

Aiello

-Most definitely a cat person.

-Played baseball since he was a kid and considered going pro but then decided against it.

-Wants to get married but the girls think he’s not husband material despite being pretty good looking.

-A great artist but thinks its not a masculine trait (whatever that means), so he doesn’t do it often or really tell anyone about it.

-A giant momma’s boy. He cried when saying goodbye to her the day he got shipped out and wrote her letters at least once a week. Probably cried at least once while he was gone because he missed her.

-Missed his mom’s cooking to the point that he’d dream about it then wake up starving.

-The youngest of four kids and the only boy. His sisters tortured him with dress up and dolls when he was a kid.

-Not sure if he wants kids of his own but is willing to be the cool uncle.

-Once caught the stove on fire by accident and pretended he found it like that. His parents still have no idea.

-Got hit in the back of the head with an aluminum baseball bat once, cracked his head open, and had to get stitches. His hair still doesn’t grow in that spot but he manages to cover it up.

Stiles

-Definitely somewhere on the autism spectrum. Special interests: philosophy, ancient Greece, Edgar Allen Poe, and of course photography.

-Mom was a single mom majority of his childhood so he is decidedly a momma’s boy. Also very much a feminist.

-He’s got a raging sweet tooth. If it has sugar, he most likely loves it. Especially if its cake.

-Doesn’t really drink because, “I like to be in charge of my mental faculties at all times.”

-So very, very awkward with girls. He tries talking to one, says something he doesn’t realize is creepy and/or weird and scares her off. He still hasn’t had a girlfriend at the age of 22.

-His little sister tries to help him but she thinks he’s a lost cause and is doomed to a life of singleness.

-Once he realized he was most likely getting drafted into WW2 he started researching military tactics because “you can never be too prepared”

-Loved ‘The Hobbit’ as a kid. He’s owned several copies of it over the years because he reads it at least twice a month and they just keep falling apart.

-He was thrilled when Tolkien published ‘Lord of the Rings’ and read it in a weekend.

-Still has his childhood teddy bear and keeps it on his bookshelf. Sometimes he pulls it down to sit in the armchair with him while he reads.

Zussman

-He’d definitely live off of hotdogs and mac n cheese if you let him.

- He was an only child until he was 12 when his parents unexpectedly had his baby sister. He wasn’t excited at first but doted on her constantly once she was born.

-According to her, he’s her best friend. He’d never admit to it at the risk of being called a sissy, but he feels the same way.

-She bawled in his arms the day he left and said she wanted to go with him. He somehow held it together, but after he got on the train he started crying too.

-Whenever he wanted to give up and die while he was a POW he’d think of how she’d feel if he wasn’t there to braid her hair anymore or take her on their “Leah and Robbie dates” and that gave him the strength he needed to push on just one more day.

-Yes he learned how to braid her hair because she wanted him to do it one day and he was upset that he didn’t know how.

-Once he got home, his family refused to let him out of their sights.

-Plays pranks on his family. Sometimes Leah helps, but most of the time its just him booby trapping something and their parents setting them off.

- ‘Robert Cohen Zussman’ said in a very annoyed and somewhat angry tone is very often heard in that house. Along with “What on earth possessed you to do that?” and “What is wrong with you?”

-Although once they realize how close they were to losing him they don’t really mind it as much.

Daniels

-Loves barbecue.

I see quite a few BAU Agere Family fics and headcanons of Hotch being the dad, Rossi being the grandpa, and the rest are their littles which is super cute! However, I would like to introduce my own personal BAU Fam

Rossi is absolutely the grandpa, Garcia is the momma, JJ is a flip, and the others are the littles

Hotch usually regresses the youngest to a toddler with Reid being second youngest, Morgan is an older child, Prentiss is anywhere between older child to preteen, and JJ is anywhere between younger to older child (between Reid's little age and Morgan's)

Morgan and Hotch seem to 'fight' over Reid's attention quite often

Prentiss is most often aware of Hotch's age and is most active in finding ways of involving him in games safely

Rossi sometimes has to argue to get the kids to eat food outside of just nuggets or mac and cheese or Garcia's cookies. His cooking work, he feels, goes unappreciated (he's totally not dramatic when guilt tripping the kids into trying his food). His arguments are often with Reid and Morgan

All the kids LOVE and are fascinated with Garcia's outfits and accessories! She always looks so pretty to them, and Reid and Hotch, being younger, tend to get distracted by her accessories a lot

Morgan most often refers to Garcia as Momma while Reid eventual gets comfortable and says it more often, and Rossi will refer to Garcia as Mommy to the littles. Prentiss and JJ often call her just Penny, and Hotch doesn't really say words

Rossi doesn't physically play with the littles as much as Garcia (old man XD) but he instead often asks them questions about what they're doing/making and will let them talk or show him through their process

Morgan's favorite activity is make-believe, adventures where he is the victorious hero! They are often more fantasy based rather than games like Cops and Robbers

Reid's favorite activities are of course reading and generally getting into things he's not supposed to. A lot of things are ment to be kept out of children's reach but he'll grab it and show off some physics or chemistry magic

Hotch's favorite activities are playing with Legos (mainly just separating the pieces) and napping. He's often a very tired baby who doesn't like a lot of loud noises

JJ's favorite activities are drawing and reading when regressed. She loves using bright colors in her drawings meaning that Garcia is often her favorite subject, asking her to pose for a drawing. JJ sometimes reads with Reid but when regressed she often chooses a different book since he doesn't always pick the 'age appropriate' ones. When she's big, she loves sitting with Reid and reading

Prentiss often goes along with what other people may want, but she does love playing make-believe with Morgan a lot. She likes being the powerful witch who kidnapped and poisoned Princess Penny and Morgan has to save her before the stroke of midnight or she may never wake up again! Mwa ha ha!

Reid doesn't generally like laying down for nap time, but a night light for his fear of the dark and reading to him till he falls asleep often helps

How long was the macdennis segment? Was Glenn shaky on the macdennis "love affair" chat (saw a post on twitter) or was he just doing one of his Glenn bits like from the podcast where he acts like he's not into things before he's honest about it? Did they confirm Honey and Vinegar for s16 or were they just teasing the idea of it in future seasons? Were you able to see their expressions from your seat? (Sorry for being cringe and insane in your asks!)

hiii! sorry it took me so long to reply. I was kind of processing those days and also recovering from covid which i brought as a fun souvenir! (nw, it's all good) I can't possibly tell you how long the segment was but it def took up a good chunk of the show! i was sitting too far away to take good pictures or videos (nor did i want to yknow, kind of living in the moment) but i took this pic of the screen which was up for a satisfyingly long time

I honestly think glenn was just doing one of his "bits" because - imo - he's much more on our side when it comes to the meta level of the show just from how he is talking about dennis etc. I still love how bold rob was by just straight up saying macdennis is a love affair to some. at least, glenn then said to rob "love you, baby!" I remember meg saying it's one of her favourite dynamics but we already knew that. Oh, she also said that the impl*cation scene was put up there against her will and i agree. It's not a macdennis moment and I overall hate it (in parts because it is what dudebros cling to so desperately). I am amazed that they somehow managed to avoid talking about Mac and Dennis break up AGAIN by "letting the audience choose" (which is a fabricated thing because a hyped up audience will cheer and holler for anything) but i will say that Suburbs got a REALLY loud cheer. They played the montage from that and ofc the dinner scene with the "newsflash asshole" moment. Oh, we also had to watch glenn's naked ass on screen. Rob talked about shooting that scene and said how hard it was for him to keep up because glenn was bringing his whole talent to it and rob said he wasn't that good of an actor to keep up. glenn said he's sometimes concerned that there is this psychopathic side to him and that he needs to get that checked. They then played Mortgage Crisis but didn't really talk about it. BUT meg suggested that hugh honey & vic vinegar should make a comeback at some point and rob sort of agreed and so did the audience, so who knows! The segment ended with them playing the impl*cation scene instead of break up and meg saying mac and dennis keeping each other in check is one of the things she loves about that dynamic and that they follow their own specific set of rules.

Overall, it was a very fun show and I am happy I went. The mood was so great, on stage and in the audience. I couldn't see their expressions from up there but I did see rob pulling down his pants to show us his shamrock tattoo, so there's that image... I loved the video cameos by danny, artemis, the lawyer and even uncle jack. Glenn got drunk on stage to the point that rob felt the need to intervene when he got too annoying lmao. Glenn said rob gave him a shot of "tequila" backstage and it might have been the bit that tipped him over - he then got corrected because it was whisky of course (maybe he had flashbacks to the christmas special). They played family fight but it was sooo messy omg... never give buzzers to drunk man-children. Everybody celebrated kaitlin of course and it was... a special experience to hear her and glenn sing the tiny boy song live. Charlie sang a bunch of sunny songs. The one that got me most was "I like life at paddy's pub" of course, especially because the whole audience was singing along. They also had an inflatable tube guy on stage before the show started which I thought was hilarious and weirdly relaxing to watch... Oh, yes before the show started, they had a sunny playlist going on with all the classics like "the boys are back in town" and the ghostbusters song etc. During the intermission, they showed gag reels on screen. Hm what else... Not to burst the bubble, but they also talked about how they couldn't film s15 in Ireland because of covid restrictions, so the on locations shootings took place in california - movie magic! If I remember anything else that's of significance, I'll post a follow-up. I really hope they'll come back to europe soon because i'll def go again. It was so nice to meet other sunny fans IRL and hang out and have a good time together :) i am always amazed how a shared love for a show can bring people together... it's so wholesome. (and you could also sense their love for the show and each other and I think it's great for them to finally get such a direct feedback from the fans)

Michael comes out of the room and he stops to find Daniel clutching his baby. He wants to move towards him but Daniel turns away, by that time the Don already hot on his heels. The brothers stare at each other until their father turns to Michael with one word.

"Leave."

He's so careful with Daniele - the boy will not let go of his puppy so he herds him away, into the sitting room unto a couch, one arm around his son's shoulder, the other arm shielding the little baby more tightly against his Mama.

Daniel doesn't talk at all through any of it, the Don only shushes the infant.

It's not very long till Vincent and Lisa arrive - the Don shoos his brother away (he really only needed him to see what the situation was), and Lisa very softly takes baby Gianni, cooing to the puppy that'll they'll make him nice and comfortable, auntie Lisa will take care of you, won't she, sweetie? Leaving the two of them alone and only when they're together, bathed in mild sunlight, does Daniele start to cry. But there's no anger there, he is so quiet when he does it, tears years in the making, so much more than one heartbreak pouring out of him. And the Don absolutely knows that he is to blame as much as anyone. So he sits there and bears it, because there are no words.

Daniele falls asleep in his father's arms.

He gets awoken by Lucille, she tells him the puppies are OK, yes, baby, she's seen to that, the three eldest are at school or kindergarten, Robby is at the Kreese's for now, but she knows Betsy too, she's spoken to her, lovely girl, they'll get their dinner all, sh, baby boy, they're OK - and then he just holds her too. He wants to see Gianni, but he's asleep upstairs, come baby, I'll take you up so you can see him. She brings him to his old room and when he sinks down at the travel cot and keep staring at his puppy, she asks him only one, halting question:

"Was it bad?"

And then she holds him as he muffles his screams against her chest, holds him till his tears run dry and she brings him, pale and shaking, to the kitchen, where Lisa's making Mac and Cheese.

Daniel doesn't remember much about the rest of the evening, but his family never forgets.

MacCready wouldn't openly choose a favorite, but it's definitely her hair. He loves playing with it, and getting to do so means they're in a situation where they can relax and just be. It does as much for him as it does for her. Touch-starved couple things. Also on a monkey-brain bonding type of beat.

As for Evelyn, she loves Mac's eyes and his hands. I think choosing between the two would kill her. He always looks at her so softly, and it makes her feel like she's drowning in him. Disgusting! With his hands, she likes watching them, specifically watching him work with them, but generally as well. It's something of a fascination/fixation for her. Whether he's cleaning his rifle, running his fingers through her hair, or writing something, he's always very gentle about it. To her, his hands are like a breath of fresh air. Like aloe to her burns. Like learning that cotton and thread counts exist after only knowing sand paper and its varying grits. This metaphor is getting weird now sorry, I've been looking at getting new sheets recently lol

9. Do their friends and family like their significant other(s)?

MacCready doesn't have too many friends in the Commonwealth. They're all mostly mutual friends that know/love Evelyn already. Duncan LOVES her, though - he's a very social kid. They have a lot of fun together. Eve will often use a stealth boy while giving him a piggy-back ride so they can scare MacCready. He hates this because he startles easy when his guard is down. He learns to keep an ear out for them when he notices it's gotten a little too quiet, but he hams it up when they do the reveal just to hear them fall into giggle fits. Nothing sounds more like pure bliss to him than that.

As for Shaun, he was very hesitant at first about Mac, but he came around when MacCready introduced him to the world of comic books. They'll sit in a room with a huge spread in front of them and just read together in silence, handing off comics to each other as they finish them. They could discuss them for HOURS on end, too. MacCready is very impressed with Shaun and his interpretations of things and often consults him for his viewpoints on different lore aspects. Shaun is also helping Mac with his grammar/spelling. This leads them to collaborate on various writing projects, with the ultimate goal being to write a comic of their own. Evelyn is in fucking shambles over them both being such huge nerds.

Yes and no. MacCready had Lucy, but Evelyn's past partners were all sexual. Except that one time she was married (we all know how that ended *ominous cryogenic crackling sounds, gunshots* smh), but it wasn't really a true relationship despite the legal paperwork. Side note: Evelyn isn't jealous of Lucy. Sometimes MacCready talks about her and I feel like Evelyn has the potential to be the jealous type, but she's really not. Idk why I feel the need to clarify that because the distinction is important to me: she's more the type to mark her territory tbh

Evelyn has the dom energy without a doubt. Day to day, she definitely LOVES having MacCready on a leash and he is more than happy to be dragged around by the scruff of his neck. She gives him head pats as needed for reassurance of course. No one is shocked by this.

The surprise is entirely behind closed doors because they lose a lot of that energy in the bedroom. That, for these two, is a safe space where they escape to the quiet intimacy of one another. THAT'S where their soft sides can freely come out and they can give/receive the comfort they both desperately crave. Not to say they don't get down and freaky with it from time to time (see: below), but their sex life is more like a Hozier song as in it's deeply passionate & there's lots of worship and affirmation/TLC given. Total opposite to their public life, but they deserve to be treated with gentleness.

When they do get freaky with it (drop everything and fuck after clearing out a building of enemies kind of deal), it's usually quick and dirty. The idea that they don't carry those dynamics into the bedroom continues during their more public, fuck nasty stints. They're both pulling each other's hair and biting and scratching, both equally as desperate and domineering. It's mostly fueled by adrenaline, partly by the need to affirm that they're each okay, to basically be like "that was close, don't you dare fucking do that to me again". Plus, they're both oddballs and something about the way they work so seamlessly together and hardly need to communicate really gets the blood pumping/makes them feel really close. Work is very intimate for these two, especially when a job is done right. Fucking after a job is the same as a cigarette after sex to them, with the added bonus of burning off the rest of their adrenaline.
