shoutout to my old 4th grade teacher for being more supportive of me one time 6 months ago than my own mother's ever been< 3333

Recently I’ve been pencil sketching a lot more than I had been in a long time, and I seriously forgot how much I missed hatching and crosshatching and all that stuff. I drew the one on the right with the idea in mind that perhaps Copia was largely unwilling to get that plastic surgery and mourns his old face but has to come to terms with it in order to fulfill his new identity as Papa. Or maybe I’m projecting and miss his nose.
