the revolution is coming. and you can see your enemies are your neighbors. your cousins. your childhood friends parents. people who have been openly racist and openly homophobic and transphobic and putting it under the rug like it's not that big of a deal. they've been waiting for this. the day to start to tear at the few liberties that were fought so publicly and so long for. more and more people are fighting everyday, getting murdered on the street for their belief that basic human decency is the only way to save us all. children are fighting this war. a lot of them are losing their lives. the revolution is coming. you choose your side of history to fall on. but it will come. and it will come for us all. pretending it isn't happening is no longer an option. it never should have been. things are going to get so much worse before they get better. fight or flight responses are kicking in. you'll notice who are left standing when it gets harder. just spreading it around is fighting. just telling more people, being a voice, being a conduit for people who cannot speak, who have had their speech taken away, who are dead. being someone who will not let the fire go out. keep it burning, keep it lit. the revolution is coming. help how you can, and never stop talking about it.

So sick and so tired of men whining about ‘not all men’ or how ‘men are oppressed too’ every time a woman talks about her bad experience/abuse/trauma/discrimination she has faced by men. So sick of it because men have never and will never be victims like cis women have been. Fathers and male babies were not the victims of sex selective abortions, they were not the victims of honor killings, they aren’t victims of domestic violence or gender violence like women are. Men are not the ones being killed for not wearing a headscarf, men aren’t the ones forbidden from education in Afghanistan, men are not the ones being jailed for abortions and miscarriages. Men are not the ones being publicly groped in Japan, men are not the ones being recorded in public toilet in East Asia, men are not the ones who have a dress code in school. Literally could go on and on, but please continue to tell me how men are more oppressed than women because somehow yall aren’t allowed to express emotions? Which btw is a complete lie.

🇩🇰 Denmark’s Prime Minister & her ministers got kicked out from a women’s day event by pro-Palestinian activists who chanted “Genocide is not feminism”.

Mette Frederiksen has been a staunch supporter of Israel. #Denmark supplies vital parts to #Israel’s F-35 warplanes bombing #Gaza.

On October 10, the Danish PM, Mette Frederiksen, was asked by a journalist if she would lay flowers for the civilian Palestinian victims, just as she laid flowers in front of the Zionist occupation embassy in Hellerup.

The Prime Minister answered the question by saying angrily:

"Israel has the right to defend itself, and that will mean that victims will fall. It bears no comparison, and the fact that a Danish journalist asks the question is deeply worrying for me, I would like to say, and a display of ignorance regarding history.”

The Prime Minister said this while the whole world is witnessing how Gaza's schools, hospitals, ambulances, refugee camps and residential areas are being bombed.

Describing the genocide of Gaza's population as "self-defense" is an explicit legitimization of the Zionists' massacres and siege of the Gaza Strip.

In Palestine, more than 9,000 women have been brutally killed by the Israeli Occupation. 63 women killed per day.

In Sudan, 4 million Sudanese women & girls are at risk of sexual violence.

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, more than 1 million women have been survivors of sexual violence.

In Turtle Island aka the so called USA, 94% of fatal violence committed again Trans people are committed against Trans women.

This isn’t about the stats, the poverty porn or the constant shock doctrine the West desperately needs in order to be inclusive. This is a call for solidarity and collective action.

Access to feminine hygiene products, bodily autonomy and the access to necessary safe and caring spaces as women are all human rights.

What women are learning from true crime podcasts: I am in CONSTANT danger and every day I survive without being murdered by a serial killer is a miracle. I should react to everyone I meet with distrust and paranoia and live my life as if I am in mortal peril and if anyone suggests that might not be healthy then they just don't understand what it is to Be A Woman In Today's Society
