B-b-but guys she's a TERF, so don't listen to her!" Like what the hell??? I have the evidence saved in case someone tries to take it down, and you bet I will be sharing this More people need to know about Viv's abusive behavior, not just people on TikTok (Also I send my condolenscences to you. Sorry for the outburst but- OH MY GOD you have no idea how long it took to find a way to make it so you guys could see those files and documents! Also, thank you for your condolences.

Vivziepop ableism, internalized homophobia, and racism needs to come to an end. Not just with Ayy Lmao, but her and her entire standom. People are allowed to support something without supporting someone's behavior. Even then, giving someone thousands of dollars in hopes that they'll pay their artists properly just for this to happen instead:

So yeah, the artists being "paid a little bit less than they should" at Spindlehorse is the underestimation of the centurty. The studio gets millions daily, yet there are still people there that have to work at goddamn Starbucks. That's horrible!

So im planning to maybe make a instructional video on how to not give views to creators you enjoy but don't want to support. It's not like it's going to the other artists really in the first place. Only the lead artists who say things like this:

3. Go to a trustworthy Youtube downloader.

4. -and bam! No views given, but you still get to enjoy the past episodes while making it so Spindlehorse can finally get the message that you do not support Vivziepop or her leads's behavior, and Youtube as a whole will finally get the message that the majority of people do not wan't to support toxic creators.

That is all it takes.

There were two boxes underneath the Nara’s Christmas tree. In an unrecognized semi-neat-ish handwriting, the bigger box was dedicated to Mirai and the smaller box to Shikamaru. Both from an anonymous sender / Secret Santa but the contents of these gifts will easily give the culprit away.

Mirai’s gift: two packs of four small & pink bentos boxes for her lunches and a handmade Tanuki onesie that was a size bigger than she was so she could grow into it.

Shikamaru’s gift: spotted deer onesie with stuffed antlers, that was also handmade, and a book of the mystery genre that seemed to be a bit more than five-hundred pages.

Shikamaru blinked in surprise at the wrapped gifts under the tree while Mirai squealed in joy and hurried forth to them and began unwrapping her gifts.

Who had left her extra ones...?

"Papa, here are yours!"

Mirai grinned brightly and held one up for him to take before she continued to unwrap the presents. The tanuki onsie was on her body half a minute after she'd seen what it was. Warm, cosy and beautiful, she thought, hugging herself. The bento boxes widened her smile further as she inspected them.

While Mirai continued with the rest of her things, Shikamaru slowly sat down by the low table a bit further away and carefully peeled the paper off. There was a strange feeling in his stomach. A mixture of joy and guilt. There had been absolutely no need for Obito to give him anything. That there were gifts for Mirai, sure, he could understand that. The two were close. She had mentioned that she had painted something for Obito and made them matching bracelets.

Shikamaru rolled his eyes at the deer onsie and fought an amused smile in the process while placing it back under the paper it came wrapped in so that Mirai wouldn't see it and insist he wore it. It was very well made, just as Mirai's and the juubi one that Obito owned. Must been made by that lady that Obito had mentioned... Artistic work, but he was not going to put that on. At least not when there was a risk someone could witness it. He might sleep in it on cold winter nights.

He watched the book in silence for quite some time. He had been looking at that book every time he had passed the bookstore, but decided against buying it for himself. It was a thick, expensive book, but to prioritise, his money had to go elsewhere, of course.

Shikamaru turned the book over in his hands, read the back, opened it and scanned down the pages before shutting it again with a warm, though shy smile.

"Are you happy about your gifts?" Mirai asked, suddenly standing before him. He returned her smile and reached out to pet her tanuki clad head. "Yes, I am. They were very nice.."

"Santa must really like you, too, then! Look what he gave me!" A warmth spread over Shikamaru's cheeks and he swallowed nervously. "Obito will like these! This looks like his Juubi clothes! Oh, oh! Can we go give him the gifts I made him? After breakfast, though. I'm hungry."

"Sure..." What on earth should he give Obito in return? He now felt terrible for not having prepared anything for the man, but... he hadn't realised... hadn't thought Obito would ever spend his money, yet alone give him a single thought.

He had to come up with something... Why was it so hard to think of a gift?! What would Obito like? Would he even like anything from Shikamaru? Maybe the gifts weren't from Obito, after all. Maybe someone just... No. The onises... They were definitely from Obito. Ugh! Difficult, stupid, thoughtful man.. Shikamaru could kiss– ..kill. Kill him. Not kiss. What the hell...;

"Papa...? Are you okay? You're all red! You look like you have a fever."

"What? No. No, no, I'm fine. I'm perfectly fine. Come on, let's get something to eat.."

Do you think JAR is a huge pussy?

Yes, kinda, and I can understand why. He has to compromise with a lot of people in the commentary community, so any wrong move and he would get backlash and possible get into more drama. He has gone through a lot of online theatre over the years, so I can see why he is choosing to be so careful with every fucking thing, like even removing my Mr. Leaps character from his intro we made for him... He doesnt want any more risk as he knows the consequences. When I started out in my drama, I had zero experience of any online battles, I didnt even know how to make a commentary video at the time, as I was only starting out that summer of 2020 with a few shitty history vids with bad editing. I can see how bad of a response I made towards Daft pina at the time now, since I didnt even write it. It was my editor who wrote most of it, and I just gave the general points to talk about (there was also no time to think about it, since I wanted a response to Daft asap), as I didnt know how to put it into proper English commentary when all I did prior was animation for years. Animation/art =/= commentary, you just use completely different parts of the brain I noticed when you do one of those. I made that first QnA video in like 2019, and you dont wanna know how long it took me to record and redo most of it, I hated how I sounded, I hated what words I used, it was all so ugly to me, I juist had no experience of talking to random online people at the time - my brain was developing in other fields (animation, cinema stuff, music/score), so I guess you can say I was a retard when it came to speaking online.

Over the years I followed a few drama stories, like the Onision one, a bit of LEafyis Here, and few Daft pina stuff when he was a :good guy: in the eyes of the public, but you dont really learn about the stakes or the consequences in such situations unless youve been there yourself. Its a completely different understanding when youre just a viewer or a spectator, so you dont see the full picture on whats happening behind the stage. I was very late to realize how much damage online battles can do to someone, both mentally and financially. It can develop into serious trauma if youre relying on online audience to pay the bills. Luckily for me, most of the subs are not interested in any drama stuff, as I mainly lost audience who watched the history vids, while the usual main series I make seem to be doing the same , so deathbed stuff gets the most views, while other parodies can be huge hit or miss, so I dont want to do them anymore, as its huge gamble. For Just a Robot, he has built his online career with commentary, so its obvious he will lose it all in an instant once the community turns on him. I do think he isnt brave to just stick to his own opinion and not care what others will think, but its also not gonna align with his community if he does go out of line.

Daft Pina is a recent example of what happens when commentary turns on you. He has lost a lot of power over the years, but of course he will never fully vanish like Creepshow art, since he has way too many “friends” in art circles who seem to be his safety net, though you can see his sub count has dropped since last year, and so did his views. SonnyTM has made a great recent video on Daft, to show what I mean, you can watch that vid on his channel.

he has a trampoline that he never really uses anymore but he likes to lie on it with armin and listen to new music, especially during those summer days

eren isn’t very good at reading out loud in class and he gets nervous when he has to

he loves studying film and would like to do that at uni if he decides to go

Juliet is bad, but....

Juliet is certainly problematic, but the more that I look into this case the more that I realize that she is simply just a pawn in this game. I still believe in my theory that this was an arrangement against Andy's will, but there was just one thing that wasn't adding up and wasn't making sense. The truth is honestly even sadder than I expected.

So, I have good reason to believe that Andy never really loved Juliet, so that left me wondering why he would go to such lengths to cover up for her and take the abuse? And since his parents are supposedly extremely supportive of him, why would they stand by and watch while their only son is abused and continue to promote Juliet's career? I wanted to believe that his parents really were these great people that support him every step, but then I remembered something that didn't sit right with me. I remembered those incredibly awkward Onision videos that Andy was clearly forced into. It didn't seem like Andy was being funny in these videos, it came off as genuine discomfort. I remember hearing that Chris was the one who set that meeting up, I'm pretty sure he was even present for one of these. Apparently he and Greg were friendly on Twitter, and Chris even tweeted the video of Greg ****ing a sex doll made to look like Andy out to mostly underage fans. This made me suspicious, so I did a little detective work and found that at some point Chris lived in Florida! Not just anywhere but right outside of Clearwater, the hq of Scientology. He went alone first, then went back to Cincinnati, and after that he and Amy went to Florida. It looks like he went back and forth between Cincinnati and Florida, so maybe they own multiple homes. In Cincinnati, they always stayed within 40 minutes of the Cincinnati Church of Scientology in Northern Kentucky. The Cincinnati church opened in early 2012, which is around the time this agreement would have began. THIS IS WHY HE'S BEEN QUIET!! He doesn't care about losing Juliet, but he cares about losing his parents.

I know a lot of people will bring up the fact that they were Catholic, but there are a couple possibilities there. It is possible that this is a misdirection, since they clearly don't want the public to know. Andy even wrote in his book that they never really went to church and weren't that dedicated to the faith, and I recall him saying that he thinks they still believe, implying things have become less clear. He mentions that his Catholic schooling was an idea his dad got when Andy was a little bit older and he didn't go for very long. He frames it as if his dad was doing this to appear like he was doing more for his son. This makes the most sense to me, because this makes him sound like the type who would be open to trying Scientology. Another possibility is that they still believed but got roped in my the lies that you can believe whatever you want and still be a Scientologist.

After I made this discovery, the pieces started falling into place. In hindsight, I can see some red flags, but 10 years ago when I was a teenager I was blissfully ignorant. I thought it was cool that his dad was so active with fans and supportive, so I really didn't want to believe it. Apparently Chris privated his twitter and removed all his followers. I'm not on twitter, but I've heard about him saying creepy and weird things on there to fans.

Juliet is an easy target, but we all know what she's about while Chris is able to fall through the cracks and continue to play the role as Andy's #1 fan. I didn't mean for this to be so long, but I think it needs to be exposed that CHRIS BIERSACK IS INVOLVED IN SCIENTOLOGY AND DRAGGED ANDY INTO THIS!!!

I just wanted to add that this may also explain Andy's Scientology tattoo because we know he's been getting tattooed with his dad since he was a teenager.

A/N: this is super interesting and to be honest made me even more scared/heartbroken for andy. it would make a lot of sense considering how much chris defends juliet when it comes to people mentioning the fact that she's a scientologist. also chris has given me weird vibes for years (maybe since around 2013/2014 i started to feel weird about him) and i knew he was promoting those onison videos which i always found weird considering how young some BVB fans were (hell, i was only like 15 at the time and some fans were younger than me). it's all so weird.

- This video is weird. He’s trying to make himself seem smart and insightful about marriage because his marriage is “successful”, while most people complain about their marriage. - There’s one part where he says people don’t understand you don’t have to be lied to or cheated on in a relationship. Which is pretty ironic coming from him. He shows a clip of an upset wife asking her husband what he’s doing with a woman in a bedroom. The husband and the woman are getting dressed. The husband keeps asking “Who?” “What?”, pretending the woman isn’t there. Later he shows more of the clip where the wife is still questing him. He keeps pretending he doesn’t know what she’s talking about. She looks in the bedroom again and the woman is gone. The wife looks confused. Love that gaslighting. Just like when Jamsey boi cheats. “I didn’t cheat. It was the other person who cheated on you, my spouse” “You said I can’t have oral or vaginal sex with your friend. You didn’t say anything about anal.” - In another part he says there are people who constantly complain about their s/o and they hide away in a man cave.. he says this while in his garage man cave. 😑 Which we know he spends most of his time in. Like, way longer than normal working hours. - He says he used to look angry in his old Speaks videos because of his marriage at the time. That’s total crap. He only shows clips from videos where he used his old militant persona for videos like his anti-meat videos. He made plenty of mushy Speaks videos talking about how happy he was with Skye back then too. 🙄 - I think he made this video during his short guru / advise phase.

- Tells his viewers they can listen to this video without watching it if they like to listen to people talk, like Kai used to do. [This is definitely meant to be another guru / advise type video. I can tell by his tone.] - Says he’s married to Kai for almost 8 years. (How Kai found James story) Says he married a fan and had children with them. He says they now have an awesome dynamic, but he knocks on wood because people who are together 18 years still get divorces. Says you never know, things can suddenly fall apart. - Says it’s cool because at the time he didn’t listen to social standards. Kai was 17 at the time, but lied about his age. Most people would have said don’t go for the relationship because Kai lied and the age gap, even though it was legal. He listened to the law and his heart and now he’s in the happiest marriage of his life. - “F society.” If he listened to society, he wouldn’t know where he’d be or what relationship he’d be in. Says you have to follow the legal system or your life is ruined. - Says he was an air force cop at one point because he believed in justice. He doesn’t think he wanted to shoot people, but he excelled in the cop program. He says he met Magic Johnson in the cafeteria at Lackland Air Force Base. He barely knew who Magic Johnson was, but he thought it was cool a famous basketball player was there. James asked him if he could take a picture and he said yes. He says he took a picture of him like a reporter and not a selfie. He still regrets that. - Says he wants to talk about the future of this channel. Some people appreciate he’s been uploading every day, but he wants to focus on sites that aren’t shadow banning people or algorithmically demoting people. He feels like Youtube is king in letting negative opinions prevail, even if it’s invalid. If the engagement shows people are mad at you, Youtube used to go the harsh truth route. He says that was nice. He says he once made a fake meltdown video in response to a video Leafy made about him. He says it’s fun for him to make fake meltdowns. - He says he and Kai took a quiz today and found out Kai’s IQ is 136 and his is 129, so Kai is smarter than him. - After the meltdown videos, Youtube algorithm didn’t favor him as much. He says maybe it was because he said they were fake. - He says he has been thinking about websites and how they treat users. Says Twitter is one the best because they don’t care about what your opinion is. They just care about their rules. Says if people don’t like you on other sites, they will shadow-ban you and you’re done for. He says his reaction video to Leafy’s video got 1/6th the views Leafy did, so there was a bleed over of traffic. Now when someone says something negative about you, YouTube will only promote videos that agree with that narrative. Says if you only want to hear negative stuff about Joe Biden, you’ll only see negative stuff. He says it’s financially productive, but it’s not ethically productive.

[I just want to pause here and vent a second. Yes, James fell out of the YouTube algorithm, but he’s had plenty of chances to sweep back into it. Like when he was getting tons of views on those fake meltdown videos in January. The reason those viewers didn’t stay is because there is nothing good for them to watch. His Speaks videos are boring, long, rambling messes. He repeats himself, contradicts himself, talks about the same topics over and over. These videos are mind-numbingly boring. His comedy videos are extremely outdated. The characters, topics, and humor he uses are not going to get him anywhere anymore. Like is the Death Note fandom really that strong in 2020? That anime came out 14 years ago for Christ sake. His music is not particularly good or interesting. On top of all this, his reputation is complete garbage.

People just don’t want to watch Onision. If the algorithm tried promoting his Speaks videos, I guarantee most people are actively choosing not to click on his videos. The non-subscribers that do click probably regret it. He’s made ZERO effort into making interesting or engaging content. He’s ONLY been making Speaks content that either fuels his ego or defends himself using the same old arguments he’s used 100+ times before. He’s got to be in some kind of deep denial if he thinks his Youtube views are down because of the algorithm.

There used to be a saying that whenever Onision’s fans grow out of him, there will always be a crop of young teens that start watching him. That’s not happening anymore. It’s not cool for the alt / loner kids to watch edgy Youtube videos anymore.]

I’m only 1/4th of the way through this damn video. - He asks why he’s busting his butt when there’s no chance for him to prevail on Youtube or anywhere. He says he’s on TikTok, OnlyFans, Twitch. [This video was from before his partnership was taken away on Twitch.] He says those are slightly less problematic because they are driven by human beings and not drama. - He says when you see him posting less to Youtube in the future, you’ll understand why. He says he wants to wait you guys out, 2 years, 20 years. (He tried to call out Shane story.) He says he had to wait a year or two until people admitted he was right about Shane. He says he has conflicting feeling about Shane because they had a personal friendship. Says Shane told him they were friends. - He says you guys seem to drive your narrative and agendas by emotion rather than science and facts. He can’t reason with them unless he picked a greater evil and wages war on that. You would have to join forces with him because the enemy of my enemy is my friend. He says he wouldn’t do that because he’s not interested in being a professional wrestler and making fake drama. - In time you will feel passionately about other things. You don’t actually care about anyone involved because none of you are consuming yourself with anything that is not pop culture. You’re only interested in things other people are pretending to care about. None of you would care if someone found three bodies in a basement. If they were not celebrities you wouldn’t care. You only want justice for things that will get you attention. - If someone builds their whole platform about anti-person they might get bored and become anti-you. Says if you look on Twitter before the drama, you’ll see a lot of people thanking him. Says he was a positive influence to millions of people. That’s a fact. It all came crumbling down because people lied. They’re all criminals he kicked out of his life. He tries to play hero and he was only right with Kai. Kai wasn’t playing victim, he was on his way to college to be a surgeon. Once he was in the process of having kids, he lost the taste to be in a surgery room. Instead he got a bachelor’s in psychology. Kai’s diagnosis of James is aspects of narcissism, but says he doesn’t meet the qualifications to be a full blown narcissist. - He is investing a lot of time in people who don’t listen and don’t appreciate his content. Social media is a drug that tries to take up as much of your time as possible to make advertisers money. He doesn't create content that lies to you or brainwashing you into thinking your opinion is valid. He doesn’t pander to you to make money. Says when he says he’s one of the most honest people on Youtube, the bar is low. OnisionSpeaks is snake poison because snakes don’t survive on this channel. They aren’t going to have a voice that isn’t questioned. Most snakes on Youtube don’t even know how to activate charities on their channels. - Says he had a conversation with Kai about someone who said they vote for the economy over people. Humans are divided between helping their neighbor and helping themselves. - Says he was never taken to court because he never did anything. He’s still posting to places that he thinks is beneficial to himself and his family. Why would he stop because people have a bad idea of him? You shouldn’t alter your life just because people have an opinion of you. If you quit it makes you look guilty. If you quit you’re either guilty or incapable of dealing with it. He says he’s used to dealing with abuse since he began social media. - He wants to create content and help people and make them laugh. He wants to be socially capable and experienced. His ambitions are aligned with what he’s doing. - He says he can’t forgive his father if what people say about him is true. Everyone else he can forgive. If you are at odds with him, he doesn’t have any hate for you. He understands people can hear the wrong narrative and make mistakes. Says we are both imperfect people and have gone through different things. Says if we went through the same experiences, we’d think the same. Says we aren’t so different. - Says he’s going away and he hopes you watch all his videos so you’ll know a little bit about who he is instead of listening to what Youtube manipulates you into watching. Says his advise is to quit social media. He wouldn’t quit because he’s passionate about it.

I totally understand why you kinda left the Leafy fandom. Personally, several things he’s said have rubbed me the wrong way (BLM, Onision, and some parts of the recent Pokimane drama, just to name a few). I swear I think he used to be a bit more sensible than that. And it’s also kinda strange to see him become what he mocked like 3-4 years ago?? Also the whole thing with H3H3 “trying to take down his channel” just seems borderline obsessive and paranoid to me now that I think about it.

Pretty much on the dot there^^^ Leafy’s recent antics- the ones you’ve mentioned, made me lose so much interest in him. I can’t even force myself to watch one vid of his these days.

If he’s genuinely chill and tries to engage with his fans better, I’d be more inclined to watch his videos and still be a fan of him. But now that old leafy I liked, is gradually disintegrating and all I’m left with is the shards of the fond memories he brought to the fandom/community. I’m so done with him- all down to how he goes off and says the n word nonchalantly on twitter to piss people off to just seeing his fans as a source of $$ for him and nothing more.

Yea the H3H3 clips he adds at the end of everyone video is goddamn annoying. Yes we get it dude, you’re weirdly enough surviving the platform, get over it. It seems like an ego stroke for him really.

I’ll be real, I’ve never met a YouTuber that I loved/hated at the same time. But right now, I’m feeling apathetic about him and so do my other mutuals.

On the one hand, maybe Hansen selling the Onision story will branch out awareness of online predators to a wider demographic, as oppose to solely being on social media. Kai and Greg will be outed even more publicly for their crimes, and most certainly won't be able to groom any more victims or get jobs where they could hurt children. On other hand, Hansen seems to be wiping his hands clean of the case. There's no guarantee that this will help put Greg and Kai in prison. Seems a bit uncertain.

Yeah! Because a documentary could spread the word and could do some good and might even raise awareness to this online youtuber predatory shit. YouTube is kinda like a celebrity and those online catfish/predators I like Facebook and MySpace or whatever rolled into one. You know what I mean? Because you get the online predatory shit with it online and all and the irl celebrity thing where, if they recognize you it’s like HOLY SHIT SO SPECIAL. Plus with the added “I could be famous” into it....Am I making sense? The good that could come from it though really relies souly on the parents and... well yknow they don’t care. But yknow it might change when youtube is thrown under the bus for allowing this shit to happen. Buuut knowing them they’re gonna manage to make the site worse and let more things slip by while attacking people who don’t even are related to whatever they attack them for. But aside all that, I can see some good coming out of it; whether it’s about Greg or just how youtube in general could lead to dangerous situations for kids and parents should at least have an idea who their kids watch.

As for the other. Yeah. It kinda does feel that way huh? It’s because usually after the event is all settled and everything has been done then the documentary happens. And doing it now when Greg and Kai are still our free? It just gives it a weird bad feeling. Plus I kinda think because Greg and Kai aren’t in jail/haven’t been trialed yet...they could countersue or do something that could hurt the case. Because they are technically legally “innocent” since they haven’t seen a judge yet for this, so they could do what greg has always done. It just seems so bad. Just the uncertainty of it all really gives it the icky feeling. And I hope Chris isn’t wiping his hands clean and he will continue until he can’t anymore. When it’s up to the courts. Who knows maybe he will. Let’s hope so!

Some black youtubers I like you can support

So I’m not a very big blog. Obviously. But I figured what little influence I have I can use to direct people in this time to some underrated black creators I like since I spend all my time watching YouTube and feel free to add as always. Also this was originally supposed to be in order of sub count but that didn’t work out at all.

1. Jarvis Johnson.

Probably one of the most popular creators on this list with over 1 million subscribers but extremely funny and if you haven’t heard of him and you like comedic Cody Ko-esque commentary videos, go give him a sub. He’s reacted to many of the same channels Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden have such as Troom Troom and 5 Minute Crafts. He’s also a software engineer which is pretty badass.

2. Lana Summer.

Does mainly fashion and hair related videos but is very chill and easy to listen to. Sometimes I like to put on her videos while I’m doing things even though I 100% have straight hair and she does mostly curly hair tutorials. But she’s covered a large umbrella of beauty topics in her videos and if you’re the least bit feminine it’s highly possible she’s covered at least one topic that’ll be useful to you. She’s very pretty (lowkey crushing on her) and lovely and I enjoy her channel a lot.

3. The Curly Guy.

A highly underrated channel that does content similar to Lana’s but for guys! He’s a guy with long, curly hair and talks about how to take care of it. I am always here for nontoxic male positivity and getting more guys involved in taking care of their appearance. It’s very sweet to watch. He’s also reviewed bad hair products which we all like to watch bad reviews of things on YouTube, right, and once pierced his ears at home. So. Idk about you but that sounds great to me.

4. Jolie K.

We’ve got some black queer representation in here! She’s a queer woman who makes videos about queer women. She hasn’t uploaded in a minute but I think she’s still worth supporting. She’s done some cool story times about being gay as well as some beauty stuff.

5. Honest.

Honest is a drama channel run by a black guy who talks about drama between music artists and sometimes youtubers. He’s not only a black person in the drama side of YouTube but he’s a black man in the drama side of YouTube two demographics that feel excluded from that world. If you do like drama videos like Teaspill, it’s cool to support a POC in that world. I can’t say I agree with everything he says but that’s drama channels for you.

6. Ranting Minority.

This guy’s super new and super underrated! He makes spicy political content, is extremely eloquent and chill, which makes him good to listen to, and is a leftist. If you can’t stop watching left-tubers like I can’t, I would totally recommend this guy. He makes videos on racial and societal issues from a liberal and anti conservative perspective. He has less than a thousand subscribers, so I’d highly advise giving him a sub.

7. MacDoesIt

So this guy is also one of the more popular on here. Basically if you watch any LGBTQ+ content on YouTube at all he pops up. He’s like the Strange Æons of the mlm community in that respect. He’s super funny, does reaction videos, does some very comedic red carpet fashion reviews, just if you haven’t subbed to MacDoesIt, what are you doing?

8. Kat Blaque.

Kat Blaque has been under fire for certain opinions before, but all in all she’s a good leftist, political youtuber who is also a black trans woman. She does videos on LGBT+ issues, racial issues, lots of other things, and is a smart, beautiful lady. Basically you can’t be a political youtuber without being controversial so, decide for yourself if you wanna support her, I personally do. Also I am not a trans woman but I know trans women who have said she helped them figure out certain things, so that’s good.

9. Rickey Thompson

A black gay comedian who does story times and random funny videos. I also think he’s an ex viner. I’m only a comedic fan of this one but I do know he’s very handsome and I came from his LGBT+ story times. Just someone you might wanna check out. He’s kind of like Mac in some ways just like. Much chiller.

10. WiseJae

I love how this is a mix of semi popular youtubers and super obscure youtubers I like for very specific reasons. WiseJae is a very small youtuber with a little over a thousand subs last time I checked but she does videos about jobcorps and trade school and has recently started making videos about college. So basically. A cool guide for how to get your life started if you’re a young, low income adult or late teen. She’s also got a very pretty accent, soothing voice and . . . is just so fucking beautiful . . . so. So gorgeous. So like. If you’re like. 18. And you’ve been thinking about a place like jobcorps but don’t know how to start. I would say her channel would be the first place I’d go for information.

11. NotYourMommasHistory

I actually love historical fashion. And this black woman named Cheyney is a historical reenactor with a focus on African and African-American history, and often overlooked part of history and fashion history in general. She’s done stuff like historical head wraps and similar as well as talked about serious issues like sexual harassment. Most recently she did a video on white people misrepresenting Martin Luther King Jr. Basically if you like channels like Rachel Maksy, Bernadette Banner, or our meme mom Karolina Żebrowska, you’ll probably like her. Or maybe you’re just curious about African history. That’s cool too.

12. Rebranding Autism.

Black autistic rep! Jen is a black autistic woman who talks about autism, the struggles she’s faced and she was literally sent to the notoriously abusive Judge Rotenberg center and talked about the atrocities committed there. She’s amazing and has also made vlogs about her life, made advice videos on mental health that are relatable for many people not just people with autism specifically, tho certainly those too. She also makes music.

13. Tater Tatiana

Small youtuber who is in the anti Onision community. She reviewed Onision’s shitty books. She writes, does drama videos and does beauty videos as well. She read Onision fanfiction on her channel, Lilee Jean tried to take down her channel and she bounced back. I highly recommend the channel, I love Tatiana and I’ve loved watching her channel grow these last few years.

So, that’s my list, will definitely add more later, I hope this didn’t come off as pandering or me thinking black people are charity cases, which they aren’t, this is simply me, a white girl, trying to share some black creators I enjoy instead of just spouting my opinions on tumblr, since I come from a privileged place.

It’s very strange to me that just a few years ago, it was completely acceptable to support Onision. He somehow got a lot of praise for being ‘brutally honest.’ (Which we all know actually means he’s an asshole who has no regard for other people or their feelings.) Even when I used to watch his content, I knew he made me feel like shit. But there was a whole community around him who insisted that if you didn’t like him, you were just a pussy. While I hope those people got past it and don’t defend his actions anymore, I don’t think 13 year old me deserved to feel invalidated all because I dared disagree with someone who constantly trashed self harmers and people with eating disorders.

I don’t know, these are all thoughts I’ve had for a bit. Obviously the main problem surrounding his toxic fanbase was Greg himself, and I like to think people only acted so terribly because he was very manipulative and never did anything to stop it.

I don’t know if any other former fans felt this way as well. Maybe it was just me. It was the main reason I kept watching his content for so long.

Compete Review - Stones to Abbigale, by Onision

Disclaimer: This review will contain spoilers… if you haven’t already watched the seven billion book reviews there are for Stones to Abbigale. I won’t be linking to where you can buy this book because I don’t want to support Greg… James… whatever the fuck he’s going by now. If you look hard enough, you can find it for free online.

Stones to Abbigale is the first book published by Onision. I’m sure we already all know about Onision and how horrible he is, if not I highly recommend going to Youtube and watching The Right Opinion’s videos on him. They’re very enlightening as to the kind of person that Greg is. Anyways, this review isn’t about Onision (kind of), it’s about his book. I couldn’t figure out where the book was published, aside from a small stamp at the very last page just saying it was published via Amazon.

The Summary: There isn’t one. Fuck. The Characters: James - Simp who likes to act like he’s the hero, but also the victim. Definitely Onision’s self-insert.

Abbigale (Abbi) - A very traumatized person who is written very poorly

Jason - The jock who’s there to make James look like the victim but also the hero

Davis - a character who has no impact on the story and could be completely written out. His presence affects nothing.

Ms. Robertson - The school counselor who could never actually be a school counselor Mr. Hanson - The history teacher

The Problems: Aside from a multitude of grammatical errors and some spelling errors, this book is just a mess. The characters are incredibly inconsistent to the point of being unrealistic (e.g. one moment Jason is the bad guy and the next he’s James’s best friend). Actually, in general, none of these characters are realistic. It’s really easy to read this story in Greg’s voice because it all sounds just like him. They speak with the same mannerisms that he does and like they all read a psychology book in fifth grade and now they think that they know everything about people and how they work. It’s annoying and incredibly frustrating, actually.

Another big problem that this book faces is that everything is written in big blocks of text, without regard for needing commas or periods. This makes reading dialogue incredibly difficult and at times can make it really hard to decipher just who is talking. I’m convinced after reading Stones to Abbigale that Onision doesn’t know what the enter bar is. Take this for example, “As we got closer to the gym Abbi was giving me a funny look, as I normally didn’t walk her that far, I said, ‘Don’t worry, I’m not stalking you, we have the same class now.’ She replied, ‘Manipulating your schedule to be with someone sounds like stalking Mr. Patrick.’ I said, ‘Not if you drop Mrs. Stanley.’ She pushed me playfully saying ‘Jealous!’” Let’s split the dialogue up now (and add in proper punctuation.

As we got closer to the gym Abbi was giving me a funny look; I normally didn’t walk her this far. “Don’t worry, I’m not stalking you. We have the same class now,” I said. “Manipulating your schedule to be with someone sounds like stalking Mr. Patrick,” she replied. “Not if you drop Mrs. Stanely,” I said. She pushed me playfully, “Jealous!”

This is a lot easier to read and aside from word choice, it’s not terrible. It could paint a picture a lot easier with better word choice, but this is Onision’s first book so I guess I can cut him a tiny tiny tiny bit of slack on that. Actually, no. This could use better word choice to paint a better picture and make them seem less like cardboard cutouts.

Another problem is the plot itself. The ‘climax’ of the book, if you will, happens almost at the beginning of the book, which is fucking absurd. It makes the rest of the book feel pointless and like it’s dragging on.

The Book:

Chapter 1

We meet our main character, James. Except we don’t know his name is James yet. We do know that he paints his walls, his ceiling, and even his bedframe a startling white however because he “likes to inflict mental torture” on himself. Not sure why he does this, but he does. I think I’ll be the first to say that in any white suburban neighborhood, you could walk into just about most children’s rooms and find white as the standard (at least, that’s how it is in my neighborhood). Why? Fuck if I know. White just looks nice with most furniture, I guess.

Anyways, our main character is late to school and rushes out the doors with a note he scribbled for an excuse as to why he was late. Yay, we finally get James’s name from Mr. Hanson, who couldn’t give less of a shit that James was late. He just wants to talk to him after class. James starts people watching to an almost creepy extent, trying to get into people’s heads and assuming what they were thinking. If you haven’t read any of my other reviews, you should know, I am not overly fond of when someone tries to assume someone else’s thoughts in this way. Where they psychoanalyze them without have a single hint of qualification. It’s annoying in storytelling. That’s not to say I’m not guilty of having a character do that at times, but I’m trying to be more aware of it and to stop writing like that. With how James is written, however, it’s clearly intentionally and gives off r/im14andthisisdeep vibes.

Anyways, James rushes off to art class so he can see Abbi. He has never talked to Abbi a day in his life but spends a lot of his time thinking about her and wanting to be with her and basically, just being a simp. He puts too much value on Abbi without ever having talked to her and having no reason to do it, his world revolves around Abbi and she has never so much as shared a word with him.

But he’s basically staring at Abbi, waiting to say something to her when his hand brushes up against some chewed up gum under the desk and he yells ‘EW’. This doesn’t stop Abbi from wanting to pair up with him however when the teacher gives them an assignment they need partners for. Abbi was originally paired up with Jason, who I guess makes Abbi uncomfortable. That’s understandable that Abbi would want to switch if that was the case, but Onision doesn’t lay it out like that. Instead, it’s laid out that Abbi wants to be paired with James just because.

Abbi has shown no care for James at the beginning of the book and seemingly before this even started she never seemed to care for or about James. Suddenly though, as soon as the story starts, she cares. She wants to, needs to be with and around him. Why? Because the main character always has to get the girl.

Anyways, Abbi gives James a piece of paper with ‘NISEONE’ written on it. Apparently, this is her phone number because, on a number pad (the ones with the letters), it is 647-3663. It doesn’t state this outright, so it took me looking at some other reviews before I figured this out.

We also learn in this chapter that the school is practically falling apart and is dripping with sludge or mold, or something, so I don’t know what kind of school James goes to, but it’s not a good one.

Chapter 2

James goes and talks to Mr. Hanson and it turns out that Mr. Hanson wants James for a TA position. Because ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? I guess James shows a lot of potential, even though he’s late like… all the time. Anyways, the night before Abbi and James decided to make, not a Frankenstein(‘s monster) teddy bear by combining two of their stuffed animals, rather, they’re making a zombie stuffed animal. And it turns out that Abbi wasn’t at class. For what reason? I don’t fucking know. The next day Jason comes to bug the class for some fucking reason because he got kicked out of his own class. There’s absolutely no reason for Jason to be there aside for James to stand up to him because Jason was ‘bullying’ Mr. Hanson. Anyways, Jason gets pissed off because of this and while James is on his way to the art class, Jason beats James up. I’m pretty sure this was only done to make James look like the victim (wonderful :P). James gets suspended for two days because he pushed Jason and Jason is suspended for nine days.

Before he can leave to go home, James sees Abbi and Seth having what I can only assume is a one-sided fight. Seth is yelling and being very aggressive towards Abbi, and Abbi is just taking it. So James walks her home after Seth gets pissed and leaves. I guess it was raining this entire time, so as they’re walking home, Abbi’s makeup runs and James sees the bruises on her face. When Abbi asks if James sees them, he says “I see a beautiful girl, who I very much enjoy walking with in the rain” (pg 31) (by the way I HAD TO NUMBER ALL THESE PAGES MYSELF). Anyways, cheesy romance, it’s clear Greg doesn’t read his lines out loud and I don’t think James does a single thing to try and help Abbi get out of her abusive situation. He just tells her that she’s beautiful. James is also absurdly upset about the suspension at this point. Like, ridiculously upset. Like you love school so much and the thought of not being able to go feels like the end of the world upset (I was that person in school). But… James has shown absolutely no reason for why he is as upset as he is? Like he genuinely is about to cry over this but he has shown absolutely no care about school before, so it’s just confusing.

Chapter 3

James has a dream that Abbi is being eaten by the ground. He wakes up and writes her a kind of creepy letter about how, despite having only had three conversations with her, he loves her and lives to be with her. He emails it to her and a few minutes later Abbi calls him. She wasn’t aware of the email but invites him to meet her at the Quick Shop. She says that she’ll read the email before she meets him there. She never meets him there (shocker). Chapter 4

James finally goes back to school and sees that Abbi isn’t in the art trailer still. But the mishmash stuffed animal bear thing is there. Under it is a note from Abbi asking James to meet her behind the church. Rather than stay for the class or anything like that, James bursts away to go to Abbi’s side.

Abbi tells James that the note weirded her out a little bit, but she was just nervous. She tells him that she has been absurd by Seth and that her mother abandoned her and that her father doesn’t care about her. The only comfort James is able to offer her is that every time he sees her, she’s more beautiful to him than she was before.

Chapter 5

James’ Mom has a boyfriend who comes out of fucking nowhere named Rick.

At school, James has his schedule rearranged so he can be Mr. Hanson’s TA and so he can still have a class with Abbi. Now he has gym with her. We meet Mr. Mack, who I guess is Jason’s uncle. He’s also the only teacher that James bonds with, I guess. Ms. Robertson, while reorganizing James’ schedule gives him an ominous warning that Abbi is no good and that he should stay away from her.

Abbi and James spend the rest of the night on the phone, talking to each other.

Chapter 6

A few days have passed. Rick and James’ mom announce that they want to move in together. James thinks his life is over and that he’ll never get to see Abbi again. Later that night James suggests to his mom that she just let him live in the house by himself with Abbi and she just agrees to it. Supposedly his mom doesn’t even have enough money to get him a shitty cell phone either, so I guess Rick must be fucking loaded.

Chapter 7

It’s the infamous school shooting. After figuring out that the school is being shot up by Seth, the bus driver does as any rational human being would do and drives away to get everyone to safety. Then he does something that nobody would do and lets James off the bus after James threatens to jump off (despite there being no way that he could?). James rollerblades to the school through the blur of his tears and bursts in. He sits in the puddle of blood in front of the school to get his rollerblades off before rushing in through his tears to find Abbi. He finds Seth first, but rather than being the one to save the day, it’s Jason who saves the day and beats the shit out of Seth. James finds Abbi after this and the two of them sit together while the paramedic patches up James’ feet because he ran through glass while looking for Abbi. Chapter 8

They’re back at school and a spokesman for the president gives a speech. They see Mr. Mack on a projector and he tells them in gruesome detail about how he tried to take down Seth and how Seth shot him. Definitely what a bunch of traumatized teenagers needed to hear and see. Chapter 9 James and Abbi go to her house, where Abbi’s father drunkenly stumbles out and starts threatening Abbi. A policeman who James claims probably sees too much of this on a daily basis stands to the side (because he just so happened to be nearby with is K-9 partner) and waits for something to happen. Something happens with Abbi’s father smashes James over the head with a beer bottle. The K-9 rushes forward and latches on to him and James claims that the officer is sadistic and likes to see people suffer. He then claims not even two paragraphs later that the cop is numb to what’s going on. Which is it? Is he sadistic or is he a dead-beat cop who sees too much of this shit?

Abbi’s father is arrested and James decides to press charges. This is how Abbi ends up staying with James.

Chapter 10

The president shows up and nothing comes of it. He promised that he would answer everyone’s questions and talk to everyone. He only talks to two people, James and another kid, named Chris. Chris just asked why the president was such a D-Bag and the president just says “that’s President D-Bag to you.” James asked what the president thought of what people said about him and the president goes on this long diatribe about freedom of speech.

Chapter 11

Abbi wants to talk to James but insists that they do it in the shower. For some reason, James agrees to this and Abbi comes out of the shower to show all of her self-harm scars. Once again, James does nothing than tell her she’s beautiful and that’s about it. They almost fuck after this, but don’t because James’s mom is home.

Chapter 12

James and Abbi stay home to help his mom pack. Later they go to the park to stargaze and affirm to each other that they want kids.

Chapter 13

Abbi leaves James a big long note for him to read in class about how she was raped by some boys. Mrs. Roberston helped to get those boys in jail, but after finding out that Abbi was pregnant, she insisted that Abbi keep the baby because she is very pro-life. Seth found out about the baby and punched Abbi in the stomach until she miscarried. James’ response to the note is to go straight to Abbi’s classroom and make out with her in front of everyone and on the desk. He goes back to history class and Mr. Hanson basically high-five’s him for doing this, despite the fact that he walked out in the middle of class to do it.

Chapter 14

It’s Christmas break. They fuck.

Chapter 15

James beats the shit out of Jason because Jason was groping Abbi. For some reason, when the principle comes out to confront everyone about this, Jason doesn’t rat on James.

Chapter 16

While driving somewhere with James and Abbi, Davis rushes out of the car into the middle of the freeway because he sees a man hanging from a rope from an overpass. Davis is killed. This is the only purpose that Davis serves in the entire story. It’s to die so James can be the victim once more because apparently if he was never born so he could never be in Davis’ life then this would have never happened. Survivor’s guilt is a thing, don’t get me wrong. But what Onision is using here isn’t survivor’s guilt. It’s James twisting the situation so he’s the victim still.

Chapter 17

Davis’s funeral. Nothing happens besides James playing the victim some more.

Chapter 18

Mr. Hanson and Mrs. Roberston confront James and they want him to become Class President. James doesn’t want to but it doesn’t seem like they’ll take no for an answer. A little while later Abbi, while walking with James, is pulled into the front office for some questioning by police. Mrs. Roberston shouts in front of everyone that Abbi was responsible for the school shooting. Because… you know… that’s a reasonable thing to do…

Abbi confronts James later that night and tells him that she wrote in a note to Seth, when she was in a really bad place, that she just wished everyone would disappear (not unreasonable and something I’ve done before). James, being the little bitchy drama-queen that he is, storms off to take a dramatic shower. While sitting in the shower though he realizes that Abbi did nothing wrong and comes back. Abbi immediately accepts him again and isn’t upset that he suddenly stormed off after she told him something rather hard for her to do. They make out (and probably fuck).

Chapter 19

Abbi gets a bucket of paint thrown on her while she’s coming into the school and James punches the kid who did it. The principle shows up and both intimidates and threatens the kid who threw the bucket of paint. He also calls Mrs. Roberston into his office after James tells him that she told everyone that Abbi was responsible for the shooting.

Chapter 20

Mrs. Roberstson was fired and burned down the entire school in retaliation. All the students get passing grades for the rest of the year (which is about 6 months of school left by the way). James ends off the book by saying “Well, I guess this means I won’t be running for President.”

The book drags and has a lot of pointless info in it. At one point it genuinely made me feel sick how he was using Abbi’s trauma throughout the book to write a very, very poorly conceived hero fantasy. All the characters are unrealistic and nobody means anything to the story other than Abbi and James. I’m just glad it was a fast read. There are huge info dumps in the beginning, but as you can see, the rest of the chapters can be summed up in less than a fucking paragraph. The climax of the book comes way too early (the school shooting) and in general, it’s just a poorly written plot. It feels like a first draft that should have been taken back to the drawing board to be reworked until the shooting could become the ultimate climax of the book. It was rushed, and because it was rushed, the rest of the book dragged on. 1/10 stars. I didn’t hate it as much as I’ve hated other books, but it wasn’t good by any stretch of the imagination.
