This is a livable space.#I've helped out friends and family who were struggling and let me just say...I have seen some pretty dysfunctional living spaces.#Hell I've *lived* in some very dysfunctional living spaces.#Hording dishes under the bed was always something that grossed me out but it's unfortunately something I've seen people do way too often.#The horror everyone has upon walking into WWX's 'living' set up is so consistently 'Mate how are you living like this?'#It's honestly so integral to me that WWX's 'just left home for the first time' house/room be a depression/dysfunction pit.#You can learn a lot about someon's state of mind from how they keep their living space...and this guy is oozing 'deep depression'.#I don't think he's eaten anything but foods that classify as a struggle meal in a year.#Everyone is trying to stage an intervention but he just isn't in a good enough place to help himself.#By the way: I want to steer away from shaming people who have messy homes/rooms because life *does* hit hard sometimes.#My love language is coming into your home to do your dishes and do some housework. Don't apologize for the mess king.#Nothing could top some of the places I've had to help my older siblings out of.#I'd be okay with my flatmate having a severed limb and a blood pool at this point.#As long as he lets me take out the dishes from under the bed - We're good! My standards are so low at this point.

Imagine you live in pelican town. The new farmer has been here a couple weeks now and seems to be settling in, except... He's picking the weirdest friend choices. Like sure it's not weird to befriend the local fisherman, especially when he has an interest in fishing himself, but you're pretty sure you've seen him rooting through the Saloon's garbage with the local homeless man. As well, he keeps harassing the poor guy who works at Joja even though you KNOW he doesn't want to be friends with him.
And since you're on the topic of weirdness, isn't it odd he seemingly runs everywhere at a full sprint? Or just... Eats entire raw fish while fishing for "energy reasons"...
...
Despite all that, it's too early to call him off putting or anything... He has been engaging in town traditions, and he's started helping out with the old community centre. He's probably like the rest of you. Someone with a few quirks, that will fit in with the valley great!
Surely he can't get any weirder... Right?

#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#wei wuxian#wen qing#wen ning#animation#This was another fun experiment that I learned a lot from B*)#I think that stargazing was something WWX probably took for granted in his first life.#Namely that - despite seeming like the carefree type - he probably didn't have the patience for it.#Why look at the sky when there are so many other things to do at night? It's not like the stars are going anywhere after all.#And when he's in yiling...well he has far to much to do inside his cave or on night hunts to look up at the boring dots.#He's a moon guy - but only so far as 'is the moon phase bright enough to read under tonight? is is dark enough to sneak around?'#It's probably only after the end of untangling the web of secrets and murders in his second life -#-that he realizes the beauty in just...taking a moment and taking in the sky with someone by your side.#Luckily for him the high altitude and cold air of a certain cloud recess makes for excellent start gazing conditions.#Wen Qing would be in the know on what the constellations are. Almost entirely because Wen Ning kept asking her.#As an older sibling you can A) Lie or B) Delve deep into research to claim your throne of 'the knower'.#I have knowledge about many things because I craved being 'the knower' as a youth. Now I don't know anything ever.

i think one of the things that was most helpful for me in considering my own relationship with drugs prescribed by psychiatrists was meeting and talking to people who used those same drugs for fun. i was able to get a lot more accurate information on what those drugs actually felt like and what parts people liked and why they sought those drugs out. being able to know that people took xyz drug because they liked the way it was a downer, or that xyz drug was great for feeling relaxed and they liked the combination with other drugs they chose, was a lot more accurate and helpful information then anything that had been provided to me by a psychiatrist (pretty much exclusively the disease model of psych drugs, where psychiatrists told me that i was deficient/chemically imbalanced/etc and that this drug was manufactured for specific diagnoses and could target an underlying "disease process." none of which is particularly accurate or helpful information.)
and don't get me wrong, i don't want to take any of the psych drugs that have ever been prescribed to me ever again, i very recently was forcibly instituionalized and forcibly drugged due to my refusal to take meds. but talking about psych drugs like the other drugs i do choose to use was helpful for understanding the actual ways these drugs function and then identifying the multitude of harms within the prescription of psych drugs (forced drugging, coercion, lack of informed consent, misleading explanations of function, lack of explanation of side effects, low threshold for "effectiveness" on the research + development side of psychiatry, the ideology of cure as eradication, irresponsible polypharmacy/refusal to manage withdrawal, denial of prescriptions +labeling patients as drug seeking for wanting stimulants, etc etc etc).
anyway. solidarity between drug users of all sorts forever and always.

I think it was a relatively short arc of Jack learning how to be a guardian after the movie? Idk there was a lot self-actualization-#At that part. That I remember. I think it was for how he'd move on from his old family and start to learn how to love his new one?#And finally. The nighlight reunion. Where despite the whole 'reunited and it feels so good' shebang. There are tensions#I think I had Jack mad at nightlight at one point? I genuinely forgor. I might remember after a while.#Dont mind how I draw Nightlight's hair. I was experimenting. Also I think he looks much more cosmic that way
