tbh this has kinda grown more into a sorta like??? au thing for me but still so Basically the exact idea on how it happened i had was like. what if after he "died" (tbh more akin to abandoning his body than actual death in this hc/au/thing) he tried to put a small amount of himself into the bed so it could protect delilah while he does his whole you know atoning thing (what Exactly that entails im not sure tbh but definitely something to do with the backyard because thats what it always has to do with) and did a fucky wucky and ended up putting most of his memories and will into the bedframe what this means in a less messy and unintelligible way is that now theres one romeo whos in the bed thats currently out there basically being a case of "i have no mouth and i must scream" while the other is vibing in the backyard with a list of names as well as ludicrous amounts of knowledge about magic and such that hes not sure why he remembers and basically no other memories of note (maybe some guilt too but im on the fence about that one) the main idea i had for a "plot" ig is that this romeo somehow comes into contact with delilah and the bed (that kinda remembers what happened but has no means of communicating it and is nowhere near as powerful as he used to be also is incredibly angry) then angst ensues (i like coming up with ideas im not good at actually communicating them lmao)

also tbh i didnt? think too much about the parallels between him and jacko but thats legit a cool idea to run with too i was personally taking more inspiration from what happened with ino (yes i know she wasnt really fractured per se more like she just had 2 things purposely ripped from her by someone else so she wouldnt become god but shh i didnt realize that when i first started thinking about this) but the jacko/aria parallel makes so much more sense im gonna need to do more research on what exactly happened in that whole situation again because its been a hot minute and might help flesh this idea out more lol

He refuses to fight this liberal marine officer because she looks like his childhood best friend and its just understandably really awkward for him. He's autistic. He's a he/him bisexual lesbian. At this point His dream and his Captain are so intertwined it’s crazy. Man is so sword-y he’s got three of them. When one of his swords broke he carried its empty scabbard until he was able to give it a SWORD FUNERAL. He hears a sword is cursed and takes that as a challenge. He will literally tell his swords off for “bad behavior” when they “act up” due to being straight up cursed. He tests one by throwing it in the air and sticking his arm out to see if it is so blood thirsty and ill tempered that it will cut him. Even though he’s literally the first mate if you ask him what his role is he’s going to answer Swordsman.

He's dedicated his life to two things: becoming the greatest swordsman in the world and his captain, Luffy. 

He mastered the three sword style. Its his style. It would've been more swords but he could only fit one sword in each hand and one in his mouth. He wants to be the world's greatest swordsman, a deal he made with his childhood best frenemy (before she died falling down the stairs). He thought he was All That at the start and was almost completely decimated by the actual Worlds Greatest Swordsman. Now, after two years forced training with that guy, he's probably in the top tier no-doubt, and honestly could already be the best but we just don't know for sure yet. Also, did I mention: he's got the whole demon/devil imagery going on at times. And he has absolutely no sense of direction! plus is a total softie when it comes to Chopper and all the children who somehow gravitate towards him. And he loves naps!

One of the guy's main goals in life is to be the best sword fighter and he fights with three swords which I think is telling enough of his skill.

my favourite scene is the one where Sayaka turns off all her pain receptors to battle the shadow witch, uncaring of the damage dealt to her body, because what is a body but a decaying vessel you must eventually abandon anyway? that was very depression of her <3 Also there’s that one time (in the rebellion movie) where Sayaka stabs herself on her own sword to release the witch that dwells within her. and then she immediately gets up to fight back to back with her girlfriend. that moment lives rent free in my head. Sayaka is so depression and I love her for it:)

Ep 10... oh boy theres a lot to say with this one.

We begin with a nice twist. The woman needing help is Akrida and the victim is the other woman who's stopped to help. Since I've recently been reminded of it, this set up instantly made me think of Sam.meeting Cole for the 1st time, but in that the one flatlined actually needed help.

The Akrida committed to the acting I see.

Mainly because i would argue its exactly what Sam and Dean told themselves to put off actually getting to do anything they wanted. And we have this exact sentiment echoed 5 min later by Carlos for why they need to break up with Anton (cant afford to with the fate of the world on their shoulders). The fact that both of these are accompanied by Dean's monologue about hunting and happy endings? Very very relevant to Dean and the life he led. But more importantly, the "how far will I go to get it" echoes back a few.more things amd makes it almost ominous. We'll come back to this when we meet Mr Sheffield (i dont remmeber the characters name rn, will use it later when they say it) since the dark meaning to Dean's words is highlighted by his story.

This might be the most clear indication of who Carlos was before the Winchesters, the version Samuel was mentioning when talking about them a few ep ago. The lone wolf version, the impulsive one, the not getting close to ppl one. Im very happy they've changed, i think they're happier like this.

You know the thing that actually annoys me about people like Jack/Porter? Well, Roxy's motel room reminds me of several times we've seen Dean in similar places... especially after the Mark got bad.

SPN had a few moments of showing this, most notably with Sam and Lucifer, but we've rarely had such an indepth showing of exactly how someone no longer possessed is coping. The only other ones I can remember clearly delving into are Jeffrey in s7 and Nick in s14, but in both those cases, Jeffrey and Nick were more akin toa depiction of Stockholm Syndrome or at the very least a dependence had been created having been possessed so long. Which is in itself a bit problematic a message to send tbh, but Roxy meanwhile is the opposite. Not only does she not want the Akrida back, she actively is trying to deny it ever having happened initially and she def doesnt want to be reminded of it.

Ironic that it's Carlos who says the forgetting isnt working for Roxy... considering

I also adore the parallel made between Jack/Porter and Lata in this episode? Like they both have that scientific curiosity that can become really dangerous (as seen with Jack) but unlike Jack, Lata actually wants to help people so she uses what she knows (just as much a type of brainwashing technique as Jack/Porters lobotomy fyi) to offer someone help. But! Lata asks for Roxy's consent and is upfront, where Jack/Porter is lying and manipulating and taking foe himself.

Mary's instant red flag reading of Jack/Porter for the win, but she should've listened to her instincts faster. She believes next to nothing of his words. I love her so much.

I love the round table Arkida scene... its so much fun to watch. Ironic that the Akrida call hunters pests... also yay Dean!

Like this it obviously works two fold in somewhat convincing Carlos they also should take a leap of faith that alls gonna be well with Anton, but its set up in such a way that regardless of Roxy's choice at the end, Roxy's own wellbeing was all that mattered however that looked. I can appreciate the nareative not ramming a specific interpretation down our throats.

Ah, yes, wartime decisions excusing the means... it nearly never actually applies tho, Jack. Tho I will say it's very satisfying having it be said to John who in SPN would use this exact rethoric for a while slew of shitty choices.

Now I wont get into the whole issue with the golem being used in this ep and specifically how they kill the golem - others have said far more better informed stuff on it (shoutout to @endofthebookpod fantastic episode discussion) and I do have a plethora of issues with it - what I do wanna say on the subject tho is that at leasr insofar as Jack is concerned it makes sense that he'd steal and use a golem for his own benefit (similar to how the nazi did in 8x13). The actual problem with this is how the writers chose to tackle dealing with the golem here. Because ultimately the golem is used as a weapon by Jack, just as all his lobotomised monsters were. But the ep chosing to not clarify a few things and deciding to burn the golem??? Not good fellas, not fucking good at all.

I do appreciate John's resilience in fighting the golem tho.

Like I said, the sexual assault parallel to possession is even more clear when discussion Mary's possession.

He tests one by throwing it in the air and sticking his arm out to see if it is so blood thirsty and ill tempered that it will cut him. Even though he’s literally the first mate if you ask him what his role is he’s going to answer Swordsman.

He's dedicated his life to two things: becoming the greatest swordsman in the world and his captain, Luffy. 

He mastered the three sword style. Its his style. It would've been more swords but he could only fit one sword in each hand and one in his mouth. He wants to be the world's greatest swordsman, a deal he made with his childhood best frenemy (before she died falling down the stairs). He thought he was All That at the start and was almost completely decimated by the actual Worlds Greatest Swordsman. Now, after two years forced training with that guy, he's probably in the top tier no-doubt, and honestly could already be the best but we just don't know for sure yet. Also, did I mention: he's got the whole demon/devil imagery going on at times. And he has absolutely no sense of direction! plus is a total softie when it comes to Chopper and all the children who somehow gravitate towards him. And he loves naps!

One of the guy's main goals in life is to be the best sword fighter and he fights with three swords which I think is telling enough of his skill.

I’m not sure but I think it might spook him just a little with the certain things S.T covers, but he’d find it really cute and endearing to see his s/o hugging a pillow peering up at the screen like a scared child, then shivers a little, the couch their on is a little worn down but the Tv, snacks and company make it ok. On that note tho, I’d like to think Jamil might really like Lucas or Max?? Someone that’s no nonsense, and realistic but knows when to let loose. Something he needs to learn for himself tbh. To me, this whole kate and tyler thing seems super off and sus. It’s feeling very pr-y. Kate’s payment: a 200k ring. They break up, no money to actually link them to a pr thing except a ring. Which, btw, if a ring is given to someone it becomes theirs so tyler can’t ask for it back and she can sell it and get a nice 200k to live off of.

So, kate and tyler break up. Im not sure if it was sept of 2021, or like ages before, but im gonna go with sept of 2021 lol Then, he gets covid and i believe starts dealimg with some physical injury, im sorry im not a dallas/tyler fan so i don’t follow his life lol (feel free to help me fill in the blanks lol) idk about you, but id feel lonely if i had to go through it alone. + like i said, i don’t follow his life, but was there a scandal around that time?

In December, around Christmas, tyler and kate get back together. We’ve all seen the pics.

He doesn’t take Kate with him. Which in and of itself is weird af. Like, why wouldn’t you bring your gf home with you esp if you see a future with her and want to marry her AND you know her relationship with your fam is rocky (if rumours are to be trusted)

If many of the gossip posts I’ve read are to be believed, he’s been seen with women during the off season. Which might explain why he went home alone…

Then, suddenly, the day before your bff’s (and the guy who hates your gf) bday, you announce your engagement on social media with the most staged, fake engagement video ever. Literally tasteless and dry because everything was staged and they had no chemistry.

Add to the fact that they’ve been off more than on and nobody actually seems to like her (i personally don’t care bug the kate and tyler thing is just funny to me and super sus) and the nhl’s old thinking of men with character and captain material = men in long term relationships/married and literally the complete opposite of tyler.

Im sure more stuff happened, but i just don’t know about it because i never really cared before lol
