Hi Cheshire! Thank you so much for the Yuzu snippet! It was SO great. I LOVE how fucked up the Kurosaki family is (wonder what Isshin thinks of this? We saw a glimpse but like... Is he an outsider and tolerated because he's the Only Adult Around?). I! LOVE! Poison!Yuzu! It's so great, makes so much sense. Also the easy way everybody was like "Ah, yes, OF COURSE the bowls are poisoned." So Neat. So Fucked Up. Being real I came for the ShinIchi but the UraShinIchi is The Best Trio and I am SO here for it. The fact Ichigo has NO idea he likes Urahara? Amazing. The fact that Shinji is SO LONG the favorite? ALSO amazing. Usuallly with the trio it's almost always the other way around or UraShin incorporating Ichigo later, so It'd be nice to see how this mechanic develops.

I also love "Mizuiro-niisan." Cute and terrifying. I wanna know what you have prepared regarding Mizuiro, he was always one of the most fascinating characters in Bleach taht wasn't 'part of the plot' so to speak (c'mon, dude knows how to make a fucking Pipe Bomb and has a harem of older women. Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Lol Isshin is very much the outsider to his own family after Ichigo neutralized him, they're basically like two strangers who happen to live in the same house, and even then, Ichigo went and got his own apartment once he had the contacts for it. I wouldn't say he set out to alienate his sisters from Isshin, so long as Isshin wasn't hitting them too, he doesn't really care what their relationship is like, but considering Ichigo's also been pretty much raising them single-handedly for the past 6+ years, they're bound to learn from him when it comes to Isshin too. Plus they do remember the way Isshin used to smack Ichigo around before Ichigo put a stop to it. So anyway, the twins still talk to Isshin and let him be his loud dramatic self around them but there isn't really any love coming from their end when it comes down to it, and they live with their brother at the apartment half the time anyway. As for Ichigo, he actually doesn't hate Isshin or anything either after the man left him to his own devices and doesn't bother him anymore. And yeah, the fact that he's the nominal adult of the house is still useful since Ichigo's still underage. It's just that he also very much wouldn't care if Isshin kicked the bucket tomorrow.

The Urahara/Ichigo/Shinji is also a surprise to me lol. Tbh, I didn't really have a ship in mind when I first started this AU, but UraIchi is my otp so naturally if there is a ship, I'd go for that. But then I wrote Shinji, and suddenly ShinIchi became a lot more probable, and then I wrote the Yuzu POV and Urahara elbowed his way back into the race. So the most likely ship now would be UraIchiShin lol.

The UraIchi dynamic actually turned out pretty interesting in this 'verse cuz this Ichigo is the type to get rid of anything that irritates him. If it's annoying and cuts into his time, he's not the sort to put up with it. And yeah, Kisuke's strong enough with enough connections that if Ichigo wanted to off him or even just threaten him like he did Isshin, it would be really difficult at the moment, but at the very least, he'd still work towards it, and he wouldn't spend any time with the guy. But here he is inviting him over for dinner and letting him properly meet the twins and just generally tolerating his presence, something he's never done with anyone else before, and it's a toss-up whether he's even really aware of the exception he's making. And on Kisuke's part, he doesn't know Ichigo well enough yet to realize how much leeway Ichigo's given him.

This Ichigo is just Grudgingly Fascinatedᵀᴹ by this cryptic bastard making his life a lot more complicated than he'd like, but is also strong and smart and offered his life up on a platter the moment Ichigo asked for it like it's tradeable currency so whatever he wants Ichigo to do in exchange has to be something even Urahara can't do himself, and Ichigo has just enough curiosity for that to add to the fascination pile just as much as it adds to the annoying asshole pile. Meanwhile, Shinji's just chilling with his poison rice, and Sakanade thinks Ichigo is yum with an adorable kitten for a sister. TLDR they're a trainwreck in the making but a pretty entertaining one.

I'm not sure what I really want to do with Mizuiro here yet but I'm definitely giving him a powerup in the future, he's Ichigo's best friend here, as much as Ichigo or even Mizuiro can have friends, and Mizuiro is absolutely ride or die enough to invade Soul Society with him. Plus I'd like to see what I can do with a character who's not exactly a frontline fighter but not a healer either like Ichigo's canon friends.

I've heard a Lot about Dave's arc being centered around internal homophobia and toxic masculinity, so it surprised me to hear taht you disagreed! I was wondering why you think that, and what are your thoughts on what his arc actually is? Hello, Anon! I'm glad you've been having fun with Homestuck lately!! Despite its many flaws, it is a deeply compelling piece of fiction, and I'm always glad to see new eyes on it and new voices being added to the analytical sphere. To answer your question...

Personally, I have never seen what people are talking about with regards to Dave's whole character arc surrounding overcoming Internalized Homophobia and Toxic Masculinity. These are fundamentally not what his arc is about, and this is never what his arc has ever been about. I'd honestly never seen that analytical lens until after DaveKat rose into prominence (mostly due to Post-Canon's heavy featuring of the pairing), and I feel as if these things are related. It is easier to make easy-to-stomach, shippy angst out of addressing your own personal shortcomings than what Dave's arc is actually about. No shade intended. This is because...

Dave's character arc is, and always has been, about Recovering from Childhood Abuse.

This is the conflict we are made aware of in his introduction, and it's a theme that persists all throughout the story. We meet Dave as a 13 year old boy suffering some pretty extreme abuse at the hands of Bro- Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, and Sexually. Dave's home life is such an active threat that he struggles to even admit to himself that it is abuse in the first place- that's an admission that takes a level of vulnerability that he just could not afford, and it's something he's only left to truly unpack during the Meteor Arc.

I have a couple major problems with the "Toxic Masculinity and Internalized Homophobia" takes. Firstly, Toxic Masculinity is not inherent to any expression of Masculinity. The only Toxically Masculine trait we see that's applicable to Dave is that he struggles deeply with vulnerability and sincerity in his emotions. However... These don't really have anything to do with what his views on what a man is or should be. They have everything to do with the fact that he was abused by someone who punishes any display of weakness, because Bro excused his abuse with it being "Training". Secondly... Dave is Bisexual. Even if the process of Dave struggling to accept being attracted to men was a major point in the story, it would not be called Internalized Homophobia. It would be called Internalized Biphobia, because Dave is canonically Bisexual, not Gay. We have seen Dave be attracted to more women than men, and attraction to both genders was present simultaneously. It was not Compulsory Heterosexuality. If it was, it'd be actually written into the story. Bisexual people exist. This is not a Homophobic argument to make; I am literally a Gay man.

It's anthropologically fascinating how this take arose... Basically out of nowhere from my perspective, especially considering how all of Dave's most iconic dramatic lines have something to do with him having to sort through his own abuse. Does no one remember the rooftop scene between Dave and Dirk, where Dave starts telling Dirk all about the horrible way that Bro raised him, and how deeply it affected him?

... So, yeah, no. Dave's character arc is not about "Overcoming Toxic Masculinity and Internalized Homophobia". It's about Abuse. Dave is an Abuse Victim. Point blank period. Any trait even loosely attributable to the ideas of Toxic Masculinity and Internalized Homophobia are a consequence of how he was raised, and how he was abused. This does not mean that this is what his character arc is about. That just means that's included within his character arc. It's a way to show growth, not a way to define his arc in its entirety. That is legitimately not how character writing works. To claim such would be to express a remarkable amount of Tunnel Vision.

Inclusion does not equate to Totality. There is a bigger picture, and that bigger picture is Abuse Recovery.

Okay so I imagine them to have been these twins who got,, fused together? something like that. Occasionally one or the other will take control or whatever of the fused body, and that's usually able to be told by the colors that they wear and slight difference in appearance. Both of them wish to be "themselves again", however there isn't really a way for them to be that again. They are the only character that I DONT have a design OR a name/names for, so I'm just gonna refer to each side as their song counterparts. Self- is calm, quiet and more so the emotional one of the two. -Ish is arrogant, worrisome and quick to jump to conclusions. I haven't thought abt separate identities for the two, although (both of) their pronouns are they/them.

(STOP WHY DO THE PROPORTIONS LOOK LIKE TAHT )

2012's real name is Morana. She's a Theorist, mainly trying to solve some of the wackiest mysteries that the universe she lives in has to offer, but mainly her own. Morana is struck with some sort of unknown illness, one that progressively gets worse. She doesn't remember how she got it, but she remembers when (guys this is gonna be a really hard one to answer,,, hmmmmmmm

she got the illness around 2012).

Her eyes appear abnormally, looking like black doll eyes. Many colorful cracks form on her skin eventually breaking to reveal her inner body. Its the worst on her face, with her having to cover it with a machine that allows her to see that kind of looks like a VR headset. The cracks and abnormalities will eventually lead to her death, and that's what Morana's trying to theorize about. She thinks that if nobody will know how she'll die, she'll figure it out herself before the time comes.

Bit of personality here -- Morana is a Talkative person, yet tends to be an anxious + nervous person. However, along with the Anxiety, she's driven by that (one of those people that are motivated BY anxiety). She's nonbinary, Bi, demisexual, and her pronouns are She/Her.

Cotards solution

Think abt that one friend in the friend group that's off the rails/pos

Loud, dramatic and forgetful a lot of the times, Cotards solution is yet a character shrouded with mystery. Resurrected by unknown forces, a man unknown by, well, everyone enters the scene. Cotards doesn't have a name (not bc I didn't think of one shhhh), mainly because nobody can put a name to the rotting face. He knows and believes he's dead, yet many people don't believe he is. He feels as if the body he has will be at peace if he's dead, because he already is, but everyone will believe he died just for the cause of it.

His body is translucent, and what shows underneath his skin are just his bones. Thats mainly because hes mainly a skeleton with magical counterparts giving him another life (he still has many human features though). Cotards dissociates a lot and tends to stop talking mid-sentence.

Cotards has a third eye. It tends to disappear and reappear, not necessarily with or without a reason. He constantly wears these red three-framed glasses for his eyes. Im not quite sure what else to add uhh. Cotards is gay and uses he/him pronouns.

Mr. Capgras

Mysterious, quiet, and a nervous wreck. Mr. Capgras, first name Victor, is probably the oldest of all of the SELF-iSH characters. Formerly an engineer, Victor struggles with visions and illusions of the sense. Consistently seeing ghosts and hearing voices, not to mention the everlasting fear of everyone being not who they say they are and that they're out to get him !? jesus christ,. someone go get him therapy NOW speaking emoji fire emoji!!!!

He's very paranoid, and will avoid almost any social interaction because of this. He also has really bad trust issues, not mainly bc of his fears, but also because once he gained this strange illness and paranoia, everyone in his life left him. He also gets visions of the same people (the same people in question turn out to be the other SELF-iSH ocs).

He has these blemishes and scars on his skin that don't heal, With beady black eyes like Morana's/2012's. They don't share the same canon illness, however (none of them do, minus one character that ill get to). He is constantly wearing those like. floral designed suits. or just suits in general. idk what's up with that. He's Agender, Panromantic, Grey asexual and uses He/Him pronouns.

Your average guy. except uhh we cant have that here, its fused with 4 people (or, more specifically, their minds) . Their original name is Vincent, but is barely called by that name anymore. The four people in question are Morana, Cotards, Victor and the character of "Hand me my shovel, I'm going in!" .

Constantly on edge, hyper and shakes way too much. It changes personalities FAST, Mainly because of the 4 different (mind) fusions. Vincent tends to talk to himself a lot, mainly because it tries to send messages to the 4 of them.

Their body is covered in cracks, holes, patterns and abnormalities of the like. Along with this, the abnormalities are never fluid, and are constantly changing. Burned out + tired character of the ocs. Dawn is a conspiracist/ theorist who tried to find someone that hasn't ever existed. She looks for the answers to a solution of a problem that hasn't even been thought of, yet wont be denied that the person doesn't exist. The person was the love of dawns life, and needs to find an answer as to where they went.

Dawn occasionally sees ghosts from time to time and also experiences hallucinations. One could speculate that the "love of her life" WAS a ghost, but the evidence isn't enough to prove it yet (oh my god making references to the original songs its so fun ANYWAYS).

I imagine Dawn and Morana to be like theorist buddies. what if plot twist the love of her life in question WAS Morana BEFORE the illness?? Except she didnt know Morana changed??? hmmmmm muhahah

Dawn constantly wears suits. Like. you could be going to the motherfucking grocery store and BOOM suit and tie. not the point. Dawn has multiple scars on her face and hands, due to physical injuries. She has dark heavy eyebags, and is pale as a ghost due to malnourishment. Her pronouns are She/her and is a demigirl + lesbian.

Dr. Sunshine (is dead)

by far my most worked on character probably. Dr. Sunshine, Also known as William sunshine (Yes this IS a reference to WW's old work), has been at and through many places at a time. Working with all sorts of magic, the "good" or the "bad" kind, or the things that feel like magic (uhhh drugs), He'll get his hands on. From working as a "doctor" to A ringmaster (I'd go into depth into that but that's a verbal equinox territory), hes done almost all of it. He's done WAY too many bad deeds to be considered "wanted", yet nobody seems to know him.

Charming yet mysterious, It feels like he seems to know everyone. Maybe its because he actually does !!!

Plot twist grahh!!! hes been behind all of the "illness's" and "diseases", and fusions of the like. Yes, even Cotards resurrection. In fact what if i told you that Dr. Sunshine resurrected Cotards to be with him once more !!!! Diversity win! the ocs are gay!

GETTING OFF TOPIC!!!!! Yes, Dr. sunshine resurrected Cotards to not have to deal with the pain of forever losing him, and when that didnt (seem to) work, he tried fusing him (parts of his mind to be specific) with someone else, however accidentally fusing 3 other people in the process.

Physical features!!! Dr. Sunshine has that Iconic coat i always draw him in, but since there may be other people who read to the end of this, Dr. sunshine has a white doctors/lab coat with many stripes and patterns on it, with (human) eyes on one sleeve. Dr. Sunshine also has a Third eye, and markings/abnormalities covering his body. Dr. Sunshine may or may not be already dead, Its hard to tell as to how many times hes died. Lastly Dr. Sunshine's pronouns are He/him, and hes Bisexual.

Tw~ everything mentioned in the request, reader basically doesn’t tell Geto about the baby, it’s rather fluffy I think so nothing major just be weary of all the stuff from the request that ends up being written here!

When you miss the first hangout after the…’incident’ Geto assumes something is wrong so he stops by your apartment only to find it empty any trace of you seems to be erased save for your favorite blanket and a few of your things scattered on the floor.

Geto is disheartened deep down he knows you’ve left maybe that’s why he picks up your things holding your blanket to his face, but he tells himself it’s because if someone broke in earlier he wouldn’t want them to take the rest of your belongings.

Everything except your blanket stays in the top of Geto’s closet, maybe if he’d dug through your note book he’d have seen the letter you’d left for him telling him about your pregnancy, but he doesn’t.

Two years later he’s sat at a park watching the ducks like you’d done on the day Geto first figured out his feelings for you.

He snaps out of his trance like state when he hears the entergetic squeal of an adorable little toddler. He perks up as he hears a mother’s voice hollering after the child. He watches as the little toddler bumps right into his leg falling onto her bottom.

She blinks up at Geto with doll like eyes that remind him of you, not in their shape, no in the way that he thinks he can see the world in them.

When he glances up you’re hunched over hands placed on your knees as you breath harshly, “Hana” you manage to gasp out and she turns her head quickly she gives you a toothy smile when she sees you reaching up for you as she giggles.

Once you stand up settling Hana onto your hip you notice just who your daughter had bumped into.

“Geto” you breath out giving him a small guilty smile.

His brows are furrowed, you’ve gone and had a baby…like he meant nothing? But you didn’t really owe him a thing did you? He didn’t even know if you reciprocated his feelings!

“This is Hana” you motion to the toddler who is now doing everything in her power to escape your grasp, “my daughter…well our daughter” you whisper quietly and his eyes widen dramatically.

“I think we have a lot to catch up on don’t we?” He nods confusedly and you give him a small guilty smile once again.

With Adventure Time - it's Finn. Again a lot of people see him as a victim of everything, especially not having a girlfriend, and it's disheartening. I also think, he has an interesting relationship to trauma, and a lot of people want to fit him in the same box as Steven Universe, who has a VERY DIFFERENT relationship to the events of his show. But Finn has actively chosen to embrace his chaotic adventure life, and yes that's messed him up in some ways, but does that really make him different to anyone else in Ooo? I love this world's darkness and how it colours its characters in ways that subvert what we'd expect. I don't see a need to fit it in a normal dramatic storytelling box.

With Spop - Referencing my last post, it's gotta be Hordak and Catra, tied together. Because yes Catra is a sad little meow meow in a lot of fanworks who mean nasty Glimmer is being mean and nasty to, but also, even though it's less common, it feels WAY WORSE when Hordak fans do it. Because, what you'll get is stories where everyone is like "sweet precious hordak" and then they'll turn around and say "DIE CATRA!!!!". It's very clear the authors of such stories are responding to Catra fans that hate Hordak, and have decided to do the exact same thing and make every character hate Catra and be friends with Hordak. I'm thinking of a specific author here. It's really fucked up because Hordak was one of Catra's abusers, and they'll have Adora and Entrapta - two of the most forgiving characters in the series - decide Catra is bad forever and should die. Or, fucking hell, SCORPIA becomes friends with the man who killed her family. Except, wait, the author has decided that he didn't kill Scorpia's family, it's all the fault of Shadow Weaver/King Scorpio/something else because "Hordak would NEVER do something so evil!!1!!!! It'd make him irredeemable!!!!!" Jesus christ, I hate it when people don't understand the richness of the characters they're dealing with!!!

She-ra - "The princesses were so mean to Entrapta!!!" - Yes they were mean, yes in many ways there is ableism, but also Entrapta was written to be manic, constantly running into danger without regard for herself and others, and there was no communication between the characters. You know what though? This doesn't mean that we're supposed to leave the episode thinking Mermista is ableist and mean and the princesses are BAD. They have decided to be her friend and they now understand where Entrapta is coming from, and she now understands why everyone was so mad at her.

What frustrates me the most is taht people will see an episode that has some writing flaws and go "these characters are irredeemable monsters" instead of, yknow, confronting the writing problems of the story??? Or, even worse, some people will think the Princesses were RIGHT to yank the girl around because she was being naughty. Why did the shera team think it was OK to have Entrapta be thrown around on a leash twice, and then try to end the story as if it was all a big misunderstanding??? That's a WRITING ISSUE. The she-ra characters aren't real, they don't exist outside of the context of being fictional. The counter-argument here is, "the writing makes the characters", but this is a conversation that needs both of these things to be addressed. People just continue as if it was an OK episode but the characters were mean.

You can either choose to write them better next time or you can give up and claim "Wahhh wahh mermista bad!!!" because one of the episodes she was in was trash.

I think there is a lot of value in Launch in that I related hard to Entrapta's perspective as really wanting to connect to the princesses, but falling short, messing up a lot, and how she ran away upset that she'd never bridge the gap. And how Mermista ran after her, because even after everything Mermista doesn't want her to get hurt or die!!! She cares about her safety and when the princesses see the depth of Entrapta's emotions, when they see she ISN'T going to betray them again, they embrace her as one of their own.

However I recognise that she isn't written nearly as... un-self aware in other episodes. It was a writing choice to have them get mad at her over her neurodivergent characteristics and, i suppose, mental health problems, instead of the whole "killing them with robots" thing. They thought it'd be funny, i guess?

Because, contrary to popular belief, Mattia Binotto was very clear from the start. He said during the pre-season that Red Bull and Mercedes would still have an advantage over Ferrari, meaning: he was fully aware that team-wise Ferrari was (is) not on the same level as the other two.

Let's break it down – Ferrari built an excellent car and is developing it well (even though the reliability issues might seem alarming at first glance, all the upgrades have worked so far, indicating that they understand the car and know what they're doing with it). However, a good car isn't quite enough to win a championship (and don't we know it well...) – the team and driver(s) must be up to it as well. Now, the driver(s) isn't/aren't the problem here, the team is. Binotto knows this now and knew this in January already. And it's now becoming more and more dramatically obvious to everyone that Ferrari isn't quite there when it comes to communication, strategy, and decision making – which are all crucial aspects.

It explains why Binotto has been very careful with his words and has never uttered the word "championship" before despite having a top car. He's talked about "being more competitive" and "fighting for wins" but he has never – not once – talked about the championship as something tangible for Ferrari this year. Charles has, but he is a racing driver after all. We all interpreted this as Binotto being cautious in order to protect the team from criticism, but that's on us more than it is on him, isn't it?

It also explains why he refused to implement any sort of hierarchy, especially after the DNFs. I mean, what is the point of creating discontent in your own team and driver lineup if you know that you're not fighting for the championship? I think there is no doubt in Binotto's mind who the number 1 driver at Ferrari is – he placed his bet years ago, when he basically picked Charles over Seb Vettel (whom, contrary to popular belief, Binotto loved and respected very, very much). But why should he, at this stage, pick driver 1 and 2 publicly when he knows it would damage one of his two drivers, create tensions inside and outside the team, and would have no real rewards, since in his mind they were never really in the fight?*

Helena Bertinelli

First impression: I remember not having strong opinions one way or another XD I first saw her in JLU (the DCAU tv show) and she hung out with question who I found boring, then I saw her in comics like NML and Nightwing or BoP and I knew what her schtick was in those comics but didn't have strong opinions.

Impression now: Beloved blorbo in law... anyway I think she is very complicated and rotatable and she just has so many quotes taht sound super dramatic I love her. She's very self destructive but that works for her :P

Favorite moment: The "my life is means to an end" bluff (?) with the nuclear bomb plotline

Idea for a story: Well I'm really curious about your James and Helena NML stories hmmm for my own i would say sort of building off other people's story ideas already (one being your james and helena one, the other being mollyhats steph lives wargames AU where helena fnids her) -- helena infiltrating the organized crime families in gotham with savant and creote, but she is also juggling trying to protect steph and give her time to heal and figure out if she is doing the right thing and re-connect with james who is like. huh. OK.

Unpopular opinion: Not unpopular among you but unpopular in general... I like the Huntress 1989 set up /backstory better than Cry for Blood.

Favorite relationship: Helena and Dinah! I love their mutual respect and banter and helena giving dinah a new perspective (some of it like Dinah sees another, worse side of babs some of it like "Oh so that's what babs has to deal with" XD when helena makes a call that dinah finds reckless).

Favorite headcanon: my headcanon that helena decided she wanted to be a teacher after browsing the parenting books in a used bookstore and they're right next to pedagogy books and she gets pulled in.

I know you've heard this one before so I shall go in depth (And unify the Helena as ELA teacher with Helena giving James the book in the JLI comic and she's like "I don't know I didn't read it but it's one of those that you're supposed to") - I think that since James isn't as gifted in non-STEM-y stuff (like he's a regular smart kid rather than supergenius capable of building nuclear bombs :P) I think that he struggles or feels stupid sometimes when doing the reading for his classes so Helena reads the books with him to try to encourage him and she winds up like "hmm so maybe these books they make you read in school aren't a waste of time anyway" and gains a secondary appreciation via helping james and thats why she decides to go into ELA

It sounds ridiculous, as almost everyone they loved is gone. Everything they own was probably covered in the ruins of cement or destroyed. Every place probably no longer exists. There wasn't personal anything left for them to see get better. All of it gone. The only thing kept is the memories that couldn't be saved.

Just a wasteland that could be transformed into something better. But they know they'll be unable to see that happen

"Even if I live from today. It'll be a slim chance for me to live until I'm eighty." The person looks up at the sky, still grey with dust and ashes but it's looked clearer. "But I'll pass on knowing that everyday gets brighter from here on out. Even if it takes hundreds of years for that to happen."

They paused for a moment, trying to find the words. "You'll still be here right? Even after I'm long gone. Hopefully you'll get to see this being fix."

The god remained silent, just listening.

"I truly believe that it'll get better." The person mused. "Even if we're literally at the end of the world. There's still things here that could be better. Not fixed, everything and everyone is too damaged to be fixed but they would get better."

"You know, i went on this adventure because i simply couldn't leave without trying to help, but i didn't expect everything to be fixed." The person spoke. "When my leg stopped working, I did pray for a miracle that it would get fix."

They let out a fake laughed. "As you can see that clearly didn't work." They said, lifting up their bad leg up. "It used to be so much worse." They added, dropping their leg back down. "It hurt constantly, didn't like having any sort of pressure, even wearing pants made the pain fare up."

"But," the person rolled part of their pants up, exposing their leg and the scar on it. The scar only a white line that was nearly invisible. "It got better. You know. It stopped hurting and I got better. I wasn't fixed at all but it's alright."

They pulled thier pant down. "That's what I asked for you to make everything a little better. I know that you couldn't fix this even if you tried but even if you could fix everything, I dont think I would have asked. I think I would've still asked for everything to get a little better."

"They say time is the best medicine and they're not wrong. I dknt think fixing everything in one go woukd be a good idea." They elaborated. "We're too broken right now to have help be a one and done case, but we could accept just a little help each day."

The person fell quiet, their body was already weak fron everything taht happened, not including their leg, and they didn't have anything else to motivate them to continue. But there was one thing still left in them

"I dont want to be the hero to the apocalypse you know that? I didn't come to find you so I could dramatically ask for you to fix everything like in those stories. I don't have any friends or family left to see me, there not a crowd of people waiting for me to come back." They muttered. "I love those stories to death but I dont feel like a hero. I'm just a person who lost their ability to walk very young, I didn't have any specialness to me, not too smart, not very strong, hell I sucked at being nice to people and yet I'm here."

"I just wanted everything to get a little better but i also want to be remembered somehow." They confessed. "Do you think that it's a little selfish? To have the desire to be remembered? To have your story be told over and over again?" The person asked. "There were so many historical figures that did terrible things in an effort to be remembered. In the stories, the heros are all humble and just want to live their life outside of being the hero. But I'm over here wanting to be remembered. Would I be a bad person because of that?"

The person was about to go on another rant about how they might be bad but the god spoke up.

There also has been many people who did good things and are remembered. They are remember because of they did the things, they loved their work and encouraged others to do what they want.

The dirt shifts in front of them, eventually forming a picture of a man standing in front of a canvas. Focused on his work but was also talking at the same time.

"I guess not," The person giggling at the familiar image of the painter. "He's still painting the skies?"

The dirt moves again, this time showing an man with a bunch of other people from varying ages, all of them having an canvas in front of them. The dirt shift and focuses on a kid with a blotty artwork and the man crouching down and guiding their hand to draw out the sun. As that happens, the sky above them clears and the sun shines weakly.

The person smiles warmly at the sight. "He's not the only one painting huh. Still as wholesome as ever."

The god nods and spoke again.

There were also people who didn't care about being remembered but did good things that made people remember them. They are immortalized in stories, by their community, and if no one else remembers who they were. They still left something here.

The dirt began to make portraits of people, some that the person recognized but many they do not. But at each person, the god retold their story.

It retold the legacy of each person. The person who worshiped the smallest of the gods, the women who created magnificent gifts after the fae stole her only daughter and refused riches, gifts, and even immortality as they weren't her daughter. The dozens of people that came to it sick and returned with a better life.

It remembered every single one of them, no matter how small their impact was on the world as a whole. They were individuals who had a history.

By the time the god finished, it was near nighttime.

Some of them were remembered, most weren't known at all but left something behind.

"You have seen so many and you still remember them. You still remember their stories even if the rest of us forgets." The person sniffed. "And you preserve their memory."

There was an unspoken sentence in there but they both know what that was.

The person felt their eyes dropping down as their body asks to rest. Still, they had once more question before they go to sleep.

"Why did you make it get better today? Why not tomorrow?" The person asked.

You asked for the world to get a little better each day and I think you deserve to see it happen at least once

The god answered.

"I supposed i did ask for that, and thank you for doing that." The person yawns, laying down right on the ground. The air was clearer than ever, the crisp wind in the lungs and they were content with the knowledge that it'll get better.

I prefer a Night’s Watch centered plot too. I like the Targaryen idea but it sounds too much like the Barbarian au and Caged. But here’s what I think. The wall in the North parallels greatly with the Walls of Paradis and Eren’s whole obsession with freedom. So while in Attack on Titan Eren desperately wants to see the outside world and is in turn upset and enraged by it, to the point of wanting to destroy it all; Night’s Watch Eren would hate the wildlings much like canon Eren hated the titans and sees his mission to oversee the Wall as a way of protecting “humanity” or “civilization” from the wildling threat. He could have a backstory like Olly’s, where his parents were murdered in wildling raid. It would mirror canon in this point too.

The story about a woman joining the Night’s Watch came in a side book and I read it years and years ago, so I’m recalling it from my head. But mostly it’s what I already said, it’s just this woman who wanted to join, disguised herself as a man, and was found out by the Night’s Watch and killed. I don’t even thing they gave her a name. My only idea for this version is that Mikasa would join to be with Eren, because joining the Night’s Watch was his dream since he was a child and his parents were killed (backstory from above). She probably was raised by the Jaegers because her own parents were killed earlier in another raid, like canon. Then Eren probably wouldn’t know that his “brother” is Mikasa, which funnily gives rise to some homoerotic tension I think? They find out in a dramatic fashion and decide to leave the Night’s Watch for freedom, beyond the wall probably.

In the crow x wildling it is the same backstory but this time Eren goes on a searching party beyond the wall, where he is ambushed, meets wildling Mikasa, etc. much like how Jon and Ygritte meet. He would then join the wildling forces as a double agent like Jon, but fall in love with Mikasa and learn the ways of her people, understanding them and seeing their side of the story. Like Eren in Marley you know? Here, he goes to the outside world and instead of hating it like in canon, he learns to love it, and decides he wants to live in this world instead of just manning the Wall.

Why did zinnia n zakuro start off a rough start?

Well it all started by a simple question ment for qu and zinnia, "what are you two(relationship)?" And while starless has a no personal info policy, i take it as a "well it isn't THAT personal a simple "were friends " or "were-

colleges" should suffice, something that in surface level it isn't that deep unless you elaborate you get me? Yet that set zinnia off really badly due to Qu not answering right away n she stayed quiet seeing his taken aback reaction/ unable to clearly answer, reopening open wounds n making her storm off.

That incident she blame it at Zakuro for asking smt "personal", for the longest time.

Why did he even ask that question?

Well i don't have smt precise ,but this idea was born from qu and zinnia actually route due to then being in awkward and bumpy relationship at the begging of new starless and since he likes to fuck around n find out due his curious nature

though a. He prolly asked out of curiosity but B. Legit didn't though it would cause such a rugus so can see him be also taken aback at the bad reception, i already knew zakuro made a bad first impression towards zinnia and made it worse after she heard he and sin made Saki-

Yet when outside it smelled of the salt of the sea and the wetness of the rain, inside it smelled of old books as sweet as a parfume. Sucking on her fingers Ziv toddled back to the book laying on the wooden table and leaned forward to have a better look at the inkblack drawing on the open page. SHoulder to shoulder with Henry sitting by the table, Ziv had to go on her tiptoes to have a proper look at the book as if she was a child. In the candlelight the yellowed paper looked almost like gold. "You know, I have seen such a thing.", she tapped a claw against the illustration in the book- it was a savannah with short grass growing in inkblack streaks over the page to surround a short tree whichs branches were thorny ranks that had curled like snakes around a screaming person who tried their best to escape the deathtrap that had closed around them and was about to pull them in its middle to devour them. Two other people were horrified watching the third person beeing eaten by the tree, almost barely noticeable in the wild streaks of the savannah grass. Ziv leaned more forward so she could read the description under the picture written in thin lines that had almost completly vanished: "Depiction of a man being consumed by a Yateveo ("I see you") carnivorous tree found in both Africa and Central America". "Not on this planet, and not as a tree, but I had once- or actually more than kriffing once, those things are like kriffing mosquitos and live kriffing everywhere- ran into a kriffing Tree Fisher. They are-", Ziv tilted her head to the side, ears flicking up and down as she was thinking for a proper example she had found in this world: "-uh, giant cabbage like plants who use small tentacls to hold to tree branches and use long tentacles to grab people from the forest ground and swallow them.
