First of all, being rich would qualify Reader to be a part of the popular crowd at school, but she doesn't care for that sort of stuff. Popularity means nothing to her,so I feel like she had to at some point have a confrontation or conversation with the likes of Kyler or Yasmine about it. They would have wanted to be her friend just because she is rich like them but either one of them would have said something about her needing to lose weight or change her style to be a part of their group. Reader would have let them ramble on because they look so dumb talking to her like this; she lets them give their whole speel before she turns down their offer and tells them how she'd never wanna be seen dead with them before walking away.

She's so goth and pretty. Black is most definitely her color and pretty dresses with spider web patterned lace. I just know she uses her family's money to buy the most gorgeous clothes and emaculate makeup to make herself into a goth queen. She's the school's resident goth and doesn't care that the preppy valley kids give her weird looks. She is so happy with herself and doesn't let anyone else's thoughts or comments get to her. She does give a hard side eye to the preppy girl that wants to be Lydia Deetz at the Halloween dance because she'd never wear that outfit or anything like it outside of the creepy holiday. So she wore a better version of the costume because she can, and it looked better on her figure anyway.

Her style is definitely what caught Eli's eye, however, unlike the other kids at their school, he's admiring her from afar. He's not scared to approach her because of her outward expression, but because he's too shy to talk to girls - especially gorgeous, busty, goth girls like Reader.

He tries not to stare at her but he's so obvious. Reader knows when he's staring from across the room and always looks his way, smirking and sending him flirty looks. He blushes if he catches them, but for the most part he looks down a little embarrassed. He doesn't have to be though because Reader likes his attention.

Once they are together, Eli doesn't know how to react to her gifts. The snacks and such, that's fine. He says thank you and blushes because she's taking care of him, but the video games and other material gifts she spoils him with, he's unsure about. He can't so no but he also thinks he's undeserving of them. She assures he knows he's more than worthy of these gifts with lots of affirmation in the form of kisses. He happily accepts him but it takes a looong time before he believes he deserves her gifts. (And as she becomes friends with the nerdy Demetri, she gets him gifts too because he's just so fun to hangoutnwith; she'd enjoy his sarcasm. )

Eli unsurprisingly likes to cuddle. He's touch starved and being in a relationship with a beautiful, curvy person like Reader who likes to show affection through touch is so nice for him. He won't admit it unless she asks, and only if it's her who asks, but he likes to cuddle his face into her tits. These kinds of cuddles always lead to something more going on 😈 usually ending with Eli using her tits as pillows. He's a tits guy, no doubt about it. More on that a little later.

If Reader happens to see Eli getting bullied by Kyler and his croons, she's not having it. She interveins immediately because no one messes with her man. I'll post my general thoughts below! I unfortunately don't know enough about Pinocchio myself to point out all the little easter eggs in their outfits, so I'll leave that to those who are more knowledgeable than me.

Regarding the NRC boys' looks overall, I think it's a very fun theme and very fitting for the location of the event. I like that they all still wear masks, just in a different context than in Glorious Masquerade. One thing I did notice is that the masks seem... same-y? Like they all resemble thick tree roots or something like that. So maybe they aren't masks at all, but they're associated with whatever the conflict in the story is. (I previously suggested mind control or the loss of consciousness, so maybe the "roots" play into that???) You can see the marionette theme Yana was going for, as well as some design elements from Black Butler's circus arc, very clearly. The poses for each of the boys, even the R cards, are extremely dynamic and imply a strong sense of movement. The ribbons are such a simple detail that contributes a lot to this sense of whimsy and flow.

Some comments I have on specific designs and poses:

I like it when Trey makes these kind of slightly sus but plausibly deniable faces... He should make more of them...

I can't see the front of Jack's outfit that well, so I don't know if I can fully comment on it??? But I can see his. Like. Physique... coming through... That chest to waist ratio/j

Seeing Jack's tail like that kinda weirds me out. I think that's the first time we've gotten a "full" view of how the tails look coming out of the pants??? So maybe I'll get more used to it with time...

Lilis is my favorite design of the R cards!! There's a very good distribution of ruffles throughout the look, and his knotted skirts fit well with his personal flair.

I'm not a huge fan of the style of hat Cater's wearing (sorry to all the Cay-kun stans out there), but I can appreciate his look. His dress appears more militant than Trey's, and his posing is certainly more aggressive--it's nice to see him in this new light.

The way Floyd is posed reminds me of those people that walk around on stilts. I think I much prefer the coloration on Floyd's outfit than on Jade's, but I prefer Floyd's jacket to Jade's. I think Floyd's the best of the SR designs!

Shockingly, Vil's look doesn't stand out to me that much??? I enjoy his sash, but I don't immediately pick up on anything in his illustration that catches my eye.

His pose resembles that of a ballerina, which just makes me think about the time he assigned Epel and Deuce extra (ballet) dance lessons in book 5 ajdbhasivldsadued

Of the SSRs, Ace is definitely my favorite one. He just looks so dramatic soaking up that spotlight and trying to look cool while doing it... Bro's 100% thinking, "heheheheh, I'm SO awesome :))" in his head.

Ace's design also reminds me a lot of Jack Hearts (from Disney Villain Recruiters). Not sure if it was intentional or not, but I'm definitely super into it!

I was pretty much expecting a SSR Ace (because he's a trickster with a brother that works in an amusement park) and Ortho (literally a robot that became a real boy), but Kalim took me by surprise. In hindsight, I guess it makes sense though...? Kalim has a similar immature vibe as the other two (plus I do remember there being this one scene in Aladdin where the Sultan was dressed like a jester that was being maneuvered on puppet strings).

It's great that Kalim gets to be a little out of his usual element and make darker, more mysterious expressions like what we see in his new illustration. I'm not sure if I entirely agree with how he's dressed (the yellow jacket is WAY too bright), but I love his his coattails (???) trail behind him in waves.

OR-KUN MY SON 😭😭😭 As is the case with all of his gears, I adore how the devs creatively adapted clothing into metal parts for Ortho! The half-caplet is easily the best part of the whole look for me (the pattern on it reminds me of stars falling down)--and because Ortho has a smaller stature, the type of hat he's wearing isn't as offputting; it actually looks very cute on him.

ANYWAY, VERY HAPPY THAT ORTHO GETS TO HAVE A HALLOWEEN SSR TO MATCH HIS BROTHER'S HALLOWEEN SSR FROM LAST YEAR... They match!!!

... Is that the fucking cricket on Ortho’s cape... and the goldfish on Kalim’s scarf… AND THE CAT ON ACE’S WAIST… What does this meeeean 🤡

And now for my thoughts on the two new boys!! Honestly?? I don't actually have much to comment on in this regard because I try to reserve my judgment of characters until I've actually seen them in action. I haven't seen Pinocchio either, so I don't have a strong basis for what their personalities would be like based on their original Disney counterpart. I only vaguely understand that Honest John and Gideon trick children into visiting Pleasure Island... That's it, that's the full extent of my knowledge on that pair. I don't have any other expectations going in other than "yeah, these two are going to swindle me".

Gidel looks like a mix of Cheka and Ruggie to me (because of the hair and the eye shape). He seems like he’ll be the other guy’s goon, similar to how Jade and Floyd/Ruggie follow Azul/Leona. Nothing else for me to add, Gidel seems alright… Just a silly lil’ guy!

I have more… mixed thoughts on Ferro. One one hand, he looks like the exact kind of shady bitch I’d love. (You know, the ones that smile and lie and manipulate and drive a knife into your back and—LOOK, HE’S VERY J WORD CORE) On the other hand, I’m beating back the “you like cat/dog boys” allegations from my friends, so 💀 I can’t give in so easily/j

Looks-wise, Ferro’s iteration of the rat tail hair is not as ugly to me as Malleus’s is. (I think it’s because it looks more windswept!) I also really like how he dresses—very dapper 😌 and he can pull off green eyeshadow well!

I’m wondering how they’ll make Ferro different than the other con artists we’ve seen so far *eyes Octavinelle* but I’m keeping my hopes up since the devs did a good job remixing the “I have a dead brother and I feel immense guilt about it” backstory for Rollo (when Idia had a similar one). Looking forward to that~

I’m sure my thoughts will chance once I actually get to see them in the event! ^^ I’ll keep you posted. For now, I’ll keep cautious. (Actually, this fan art basically summarizes my current feelings on the two! I’m Rollo/j)

I was staring at myself from all angles in the mirror making sure it looked fine. Daniella got invited by her boyfriend, Mark Estapa. He and the Umich hockey guys are hosting a Halloween costume party and she's bringing me with her. Even though her boyfriend invited her to go. My costume is a one-piece Spider-Man suit that was a zip-up with my converse. Daniella and Mark were going to be Lola and Bugs Bunny from Space Jam. It's cute.

"Now how do I look?" She asked me. I looked at her and I smiled at her.

"So beautiful. My little sexy bunny," I teased with that. We both laughed as we grabbed our phones before heading out the door.

"You sure Mark's going to be okay if I come?" I said. "What if he doesn't want me there?"

As he said that I saw a man with the same Spider-Man costume come up to us. I looked up at his face and there he was. "There he is!" Mark said. He and Ethan shook hands and did that "bro hug" thing.

"Oh great."

We were both wearing the same costume at the same party. This was just wonderful. I don't know how my rivalry started with him but it just did, I guess. This makes everything worse.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the devil herself," he said. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. He looked me up and down while biting his lip. "You don't look that bad, besides the fact you copied me," he let out a soft chuckle.

"Oh please! I've had this picked out for months now!" I exclaimed.

I didn't even notice that Mark and Daniella had left and Ethan and I made our way to one of the walls of the living room. If you were standing on the opposite side of the room it would look like a couple in matching outfits were flirting with each other. That is the complete opposite thing what we are.

"Just admit it y/n, you love me! We both know it! You can stop hating me because I sure as hell don't," he chuckled again.

I let out a chuckle but it slowly faded as I heard him say that second sentence. "Wait, what are you saying?" My tone of voice changed.

I noticed that he was standing right in front of me looking down at me. I'm looking up at him.

"I've never hated you. I've always loved you. I guess we just had secret love but acted like enemies?" He said while looking at me.

"Who said I love you?" I asked him. My voice grew softer and weaker. His male gaze has possessed me.

"Me." He placed one of his hands on my face, cupping it. The other was on my waist.

I couldn't help but wrap my arms around his neck as he kissed me. It felt like the longest kiss ever. We both pulled away from each other. I looked him in the eyes, he was looking right back at me. "Don't say you don't love me now," he said while laughing. I couldn't help but laugh with him.

Thus, the design I thought of her is like a mixture of Malleus' Masquerade Outfit and Lilia's General Outfit ‼️✨

I put roses on her horns bcs I love the thought she's connected to roses-- its more like a decoration on her headpiece, kinda like what Maleficent wears in the live action.

I think Maleficia and Malenoa are more welcoming in displaying their draconic features rather than hiding it like Malleus. Because that's what you really do as a dragon fae and its more comfortable✨✨‼️

also bcs i think Malleus scales are so pretty (only for him to hide it behind his bangs💔💔💔) like honey... why are you hiding them aaaa (bcs he doesnt want to look more scary right...) 😭 I still hope he actually transforms into a dragon, i dont care if hes going to be so overpowered that we'll need 20 turns to empty out his HP‼️💥💥

I desperately wish Malenoa and Levan are sweetly in love because when the scene comes where both of them perishes its going to hurt real good in my heart knowing they wouldve been the sweetest parents for malleus 🥲😭💔

I tried super hard to come up with originals ones and not like opt out into easy costumes, I sorted through many a costumes and my god some were so bad.

Demo dresses up as the Grim Reaper and doesn't hold back on making his costume as scary as he can. Like this man is going to make at least one kid piss themselves. His costume gives people (Scout) Nightmares. It's even scarier/funnier when he gets drunk and starts stumbling around and groaning, looks like he's about to actually harvest someone's soul. The other mercs end up having to carry him home, and apologizing to multiple angry parents, Demo is only allowed to wear less scary costumes or at least not get wasted while wearing a scary one.

Engie and Pyro have to go together, I'd be so wrong not to put them down as having a duos costume. Kronk and Yzma, please it's such a funny concept to have Engie as an evil (semi) mastermind and Pyro as a well meaning but slightly dumb sidekick. I just love this idea so much. Their so silly going trick or treating together, people are a little freaked out by them but it's all in good fun I'm sure. If anyone dares say anything about them being "to old." there will be hell to pay from Engie.

Heavy is Michaels Myers, I just think this fits so well? Like? I don't know how to elaborate on this one other than the fact that he'd play the part so well. Also, if we're talking about the fear factor like we did with Demo, and costume this man wears is terrifying everyone, it just so happens that dressing up as Michael Myers yielded the most terrifying reaction. Made kids cry, felt bad about it, probably went back to the base after that happened, or just took off the mask. Gets made fun of for this for at least a month afterwards.

I have rewrote this for Medic at least six times now. I want this man to dress up as a nurse so bad it's not even funny. I'm going feral over here guys, I'm using all my restraint to not go into graphic detail about Medic being a nurse for Halloween. But for this prompt I will attempt to be a normal and sane human being, and go with an almost cliché, I think he'd be a plague doctor for Halloween. He loves his job, what can I say, of course it'd transition over to his Halloween costume. I think he'd also just like the look of it, and it doesn't help that this man is a history nerd who was obsessed with the plague. Dresses up Archimedes as a tiny plague doctor so he can take him with, introduces Archimedes as his assistant. Also manages to get the bird head tilt thing on point and pull that move every so often to freak people out.

Scout is going as Beetlejuice. I think he'd be able to act as gross and silly as Beetlejuice. ALSO kind of obscure but not really, in an episode of The Amazing World of Gumball, Gumball dresses up as Beetlejuice while scamming the entire city of candy and I honestly saw that and though, oh yeah scout would do that. Like my man manages to get as much candy as he possibly can, he is ruthless. Accidently uses semipermanent hair dye instead of the washout stuff and has green hair for about six months after Halloween.

Sniper was planning to just go as he was, Scout begs him to dress up, it being traditional and all. Decides he's pretty much dressing like a cowboy at all times anyway, so why now just roll with it? Manages to beat the system with this one, and bearly puts on anything new for his costume. Makes a lasso buys a sheriff star and some boots and deems his outfit complete. Scout is mildly disappointed but still happy he could at least convince him to dress up.

I mean it's not my fault that Cinderella is so iconic, and that Spy would slay so hard in that dress, like come on, I can't stop putting him in dresses now. I'll say he'd dress up as a werewolf, but with a twist, he's a were-raccoon! He'd make the costume himself and be so proud. hey ml's <3 I wanted to take part in kinktober this year but I don't trust myself enough to be able to write something everyday so I decided to do this instead. Goku Black totally fits the role of a vampire 😻 so this is a lil something that I thought of. There might just be a smutty part two since this one isn't spicy at all. Ps. I meant it when I said kinktober ain't for me because I started this on the 1st of October and only finished it now 😭

You're giddy with excitement as you make the final adjustments to your costume. You gaze into the mirror in your room as you admire the alluring witch costume you had picked just for Halloween. The short black dress hugs your curves and the stockings pair well with the boots you borrowed from your best friend, Bulma.

"Woah! Look at you. That dress looks amazing on you." She compliments after she finishes with her makeup and finally gets a good look at you. You twirl for show and laugh. "Thanks. The mixture of scary and sexy is a great combo, I must say. But I can't over how good you look. Vegeta will be drooling when he sees you."

This year, the two of you decided not to wear matching costumes like you always do and she had chosen to dress up as a scary yet hot killer clown. "You think so? I invited him to the party but he didn't say if he was coming or not." She sounds unsure and you click your tongue. "He'll definitely turn up, trust me. He wouldn't miss it if it means he gets to bang you in one of the bathrooms."

She squeals in excitement at the mention of that and puts a hair clip in her hair before grabbing her small purse and opening it to show you the contents inside. "I have over 30 condoms in here just in case." Your eyes widen as you see the square plastic wrappers all bunched up inside as if it's the only thing in her purse. "30?" She nods. "Yeah. He has crazy stamina!"

After grabbing your witch hat, you link arms with her and walk downstairs, making sure to take a couple of pictures together before you two are on your way out.

The air is chilly, a cold breeze drifting through the neighbourhood. Your excitement is evident as you take in all the Halloween decorations littered across each lawn of every house you pass. Small kids walk around, some holding their parents hands as they yell the infamous words, "Trick or treat!"

"Don't you just love Halloween? We get to watch all these scary movies and dress up and go to parties..." You have a wide smile on your face and Bulma chuckles. "I agree. The parties are the best part for me and I can't wait to see what everyone else is dressed up as."

You walk to a quieter part of the neighbourhood where not as many children are loitering around. For some weird reason, you get a strange feeling as if someone is watching you. It's almost unsettling and you're glad your arm is linked with Bulma's. "It's quiet here." You mutter underneath your breath, hearing the voices and laughter of children all the way behind you.

"Well duh. They didn't want kids in this part because of the party. We don't need kids knocking at the door and asking for candy while all of us will be getting fucked up." Her voice sounds loud in the quiet of the neighborhood. You know you're just being paranoid, but you swear that someone is watching you from all angles.

"Bulma, I think-"

Your words are cut off by a squeal as she unlinks her arm with yours. "There he is!" She whisper yells and your gaze shifts as you see Vegeta walking ahead with his friend, Nappa. A gust of wind blows your witch hat off your head and it tumbles down the street behind you.

"Come on." She pulls on your hand so that you can catch up with the two guys but you stop in your tracks. "My hat blew off. Go on ahead, I'll meet you at the party." You tell her, already looking behind you and trying to spot the black hat. "You sure?" She questions and you nod before the two of you separate.

Despite wanting to run back to her and endure Nappa's shameless flirting, your outfit just isn't complete without the iconic witch hat.

You stray further and further away from the destination of the house where the party is. An expression of confusion is all over your face as you wonder where the hell your hat could be. Was the wind that strong that it blew it all the way across the neighborhood?

You're about to give up your search when you hear an ominous voice coming from a barely lit alleyway. "Looking for this?" You turn to your left and see a man, his skin pale, a contrast to his pitch black hair and eyes. He's holding your witch hat in his hand and you feel almost uneasy. "Yeah."

Neither of you make a move and you contemplate turning around and letting him keep the hat. He dangles it in front of him and you take a deep breath before advancing toward him, his form towering over yours.

You reach out to grab your hat but he moves it behind his back. "Your costume looks good on you, mortal." His eyes roam over the tight fitting dress on your body and you avert your gaze to the brick wall. You've never seen this man in your neighborhood before and you'd rather not prolong this interaction with him. He smirks and reaches out, grabbing your chin to make you look at him.

You have no choice but to look into his eyes and your gaze roams over his features, noticing how attractive he is with a chiseled jawline, high cheek bones and those lips that tug up into a smirk. The longer you stare into those onyx eyes of his, the more you feel your mind almost in a trance like state.

"I wonder what you taste like."

He says softly. He drops your witch hat, his right hand slithering around your waist as he pulls you closer toward him before he lowers his face toward your neck. You're confused but surprisingly not scared of the fact that some random man has his hands on you. "I hope you don't mind."

Before your brain can even register what's happening, you feel his ice cold lips on your neck, leaving a trail of light kisses on your warm skin. You gasp softly at the contact as you wonder why he's so cold. Was he outside the whole time?

Suddenly, he opens his mouth and you feel two pricks. You flinch as his fangs sink into your neck and your eyes widen as your hands move to his chest but you don't push him away. It hurts like hell and he sucks, his fangs still buried in your neck as a low growl emits from his throat.

Your mind is hazy as you try to comprehend what's happening and a soft whimper escapes your mouth after a few moments when he finally pulls away. The spot where he bit is throbbing with pain and you stare up at him as your heart pounds in your chest. A trickle of blood dribbles down his chin before he swipes at it with his thumb and licks it. "No screaming? Well aren't you a fascinating little mortal."

You're at a loss for words as you try to figure out what the hell just happened. He bends down to pick up your hat before placing it on your head, that smirk never leaving his face.

"Until we meet again, mortal." Are the final words you hear from him before he vanishes before your eyes.

🎀Vector Holiday Head Canon's🎀

He LOVES halloween,

most years he goes trick or treating. If he were to hand out candy I feel like if they knocked at his door he'd be like "Trick" and steal kids candy 😭😭😭

He'd love couples costumes. He'd do god awful ones, Like ketchup and mustard - or peanut butter and jelly, or Velma and someone else from the mystery gang. (He'd wanna be Velma. He'd wear the skirt and everything.)

Sometimes he has goofy halloween costumes but occasionally he'd use a actually scary costume. He'd scare kids for fun during halloween.

I feel like he'd dress up as other villains for halloween especially big ones he looks up too. (He dressed up as Megamind once and put on a bald cap and everything.)

He'd decorate the outside of his fortress and his living room depending on the holiday.

During christmas he'd have a ton of lights, and little yard decorations. He'd also decorate his security system depending on the holiday. His lasers have christmas hats on them. His lasers are red and green so if you get laser-ed to death it would be festive colors 🎊!!!

He'd have celebratory music in his yard and around his fortress, depending on what holiday it is. It'd be loud and obnoxious. Everytime a neighbor steps outside they can hear jingle bells or kidnap mr sandy claws or something depending on the holiday and time.

He's definitely the type to buy cookies on Christmas, NOT for Santa, but for himself. The girls would think he's buying cookies for Santa but he's not. Even if Santa was real he wouldn't share with the guy. He'd be like "suck on this Santa" while he's eating the cookies😭

He might have specific outfits for different holidays.

During halloween he'd decorate a lot of jack-O-lanterns because they're orange (They're on brand.) He carves his Logo into them.

He wouldn't really celebrate Easter that much, he'd probably just buy Easter candy or draw. "The day that christ rose? Why do I care about Jesus"

He does the same thing he does to Santa to Jesus on easter.

He'd celebrate Yule, - He'd decorate with dried oranges.

He'd probably call his dad each holiday to wish him a good one. He'd also send his dad card and his dad would send him a gift or enclose money in the envelope even though they're both rich and don't need too😭.

He'd create robotic reindeer that attach to his flight machine. They probably also play christmas music, or make jingling noises when it flies. 😭 either that or he'd make a whole working Santa Sleigh-

He'd cosplay the grinch.

I feel like during different holidays he might scheme up some villain plan according to it. Like halloween he could steal some big halloween thing or decorations or he could steal kids candies 😭

he'd steal a 9ft tall giant skeleton from every yard he can find.

He'd be a big fan of The Grinch he'd probably aspire to be like him. He'd think he's a real villain. or was a real villain- I mean he stole from an entire town. When he watches any grinch movie he stops right after he gets all the gifts as he doesn't wanna watch the reformation scenes.

He'd wanna go and get a picture with mall Santa's. He'd wanna go sit in their lap despite being a full adult. He'd give them a list of things he wants.

"Okay, so, for Christmas this year, I want a new nuclear reactor, because my old one broke. And I want two pounds of uranium."

He thinks Thanksgiving is a bogus holiday, but he will use it as an excuse to eat a lot of food. But he wouldn't cook any of it, he'd order a massive dinner from some fast food and eat it all in one night. He'd get an extreme stomach ache and make himself really sick😭

You walk into the room and hes sprawled out on the couch with one hand on his stomach complaining about how he can't move and that it hurts😭😭😭

If he had a partner during Valentine's Day he'd make them watch it and he'd claim that Oscar and Angie are "So us" just ignoring the fact that Oscar nearly cheats on Angie TWICE 😭😭😭😭😞😞😞😞 He'd get a tummy ache from the chocolate.

He gets a stomach ache MOST holidays actually. They're a recipe for constipation. 😭😭😭😭 He complains for days afterwards.

Fathers Day he'd hang out with his dad the entire day, if a partner wanted to hang out with him during that day, he'd insist they bring their dad too. It'd be like a double dad date. Or he'd try to share his dad if you don't have a dad or don't like yours. "It's okay, you can have mine!!! Have you seen the size of my dad? He could be like three families dads." 😭 He doesn't even mean it in a rude way either.

This isn't a holiday but he doesn't strike me as a morning person, so I feel like he'd disregard Daylight Savings. The world will bend to his schedule, he's not going to change his sleep patterns or his schedule for it.

He'd celebrate Earth Day but only because he cares about Sea Life and Littering

He'd love to celebrate Shark Week

On New Years he vows some crazy shit. "New Year New Me, I'm gonna stop eating so much Junk" then within an hour, or the next morning he's already ate a whole bag of chips and a soda. And he'd cry about it, too. He'd cry very hard.

He'd have a vendetta against April Fools, he's scared of being pranked so he locks himself in his Fortress. He'd be paranoid around even his partner. It'd be so funny to see him be so suspicious. Squinting his eyes and shit at them. 😭😭😭 He's expecting something, every turn he's expecting. Everytime he sits down he checks for whoopie cushions, and he'd check his partners hand for buzzers, and he'd be so paranoid about everything😭.

“c’mon, daddy! she can’t see!” she feels leni grab her arm and another fit of giggles erupts as familiar footsteps come towards her, this time heavier than the little girl’s. leni tugs on her sleeve, “open!”

and when she does, she’s all but surprised to find johnny in a baby pink suit, so similar to the ken outfit she had gone nuts over for halloween. she stares at her fiancé and he smirks, “wipe your mouth, babe. don’t get drool on the new couch.”

It was a simple dare, a stupid simple dare. And now they were stuck in a “haunted” forest.

“I swear we passed this tree at least 3 times now.” Yo-yo sharply turned towards slick, lips curling into a frown.

“As if you didn’t say that the last 3 times we passed it,” she hissed under her breath. They had been lost for who knows how long and it seemed they were going in circles.

Their feet ached and their stomachs growled. They were confused, the clocks on their phones shown half past ten. It had been that way since passing the same tree the second time.

Fontaine let out a huff before sitting down on the ground, sipping the same alcohol bottle he had been nursing during the Halloween party.

Slick followed, sitting up against a tree. Yo-yo smacked her teeth before looking down at her phone, half past ten. She opened her phone in hopes of trying to call someone.

Shuffling through contacts she decided to call her roommate, when it didn’t ring she turned her phone off.

“Cell service is bad, you’d be lucky to even receive a call at this point.” Fontaine’s voice called out, barely above a whisper. The last thing they needed was to be attacked because they were too loud.

“Well we have to do something, we’ve been going in circles.” Her voice although strong in nature, was tired. She just wanted to be back in her dorm.

She had made way to sit on the ground close to the other two when the snap sounded off. The wind stood still, it was silent. None of them wanted to move, if they had been going in circles before, it wouldn’t help them.

A soft voice clung to the still air, it was a woman. She looked to be in her mid twenties. She wore a red dress, it stopped mid thigh, and a pair of black boots. It was a simple outfit but she looked ethereal none the less.

Her hair flowed down her back, black in color. Her face held sharp features, all of which sat blankly on her face.

“It’s not safe out here,” her voice was almost hypnotic. Slick was the first to speak.

“Then please kindly lead us back to the forest entrance.” A flirtatious smile sat on his lips. Yo-yo smacked his arm and Fontaine rolled his eyes.

The woman smiled back, it didn’t look inviting. It was almost threatening, she lifted her hand and waved them over.

“It’s not safe as of right now, follow me to safety.” Nobody moved, slick opened his mouth to say something but Yo-yo cut him off.

“And we’re supposed to trust you?” Fontaine watched from behind, his eyes trailing the woman to look for any weapon of some sort. She didn’t look threatening, how threatening could a 5’2 woman be.

Slick huddle them together a few feet from the woman. All 3 leaned in towards each other hoping to conceal their voices as much as possible.

“Let’s just go with her, what’s the worse that could happen.” Of all the people to give out this idea it had to be slick. Fontaine didn’t look pleased and Yo-yo scoffed.

“Yeah let’s just follow her to our deaths,” she harshly whispered. Slick smacked his teeth. They’d been out here long enough, he just wanted to go home and relax.

“If things get weird we jump her ass simple as that, it’s 3 against 1.” Rubbing her face, Yo-yo yielded to the idea. It was better than nothing.

With a a nod of their heads they stood up straight to face the woman. She hadn’t moved, the smile still on her face. A pleased hum left her lips.

She turned and began her trek to what they assumed to be safety, with one last look to each other they followed.

ooh okay! So it's part of my Barb Lives!AU (which is here for those interested) where basically Barb survives season 1 and she and Nancy start dating instead, Robin gets looped into the group sooner, and then Steve's hanging around so many lesbians (and Jonathan) in his senior year that he can't help but have his bi awakening. Enter Eddie.

He gets pulled into all the season 2 Upside Down drama, and Steve is absolutely tripping all over himself trying not to fall in love with him. It's pre-relationship, because I already rewrote season 3 for this AU, typical pining idiots fighting monsters and bonding over Dustin goodness.

It's mostly done, I just need to get off my butt and finish it. So have a snippet too:

He was nervous to go to a stupid Halloween party, which used to be his bread and butter, all because he couldn’t stop thinking about Eddie Munson.

He really didn't know what the hell had happened to him.

Can’t wait to see what you dress up as. Eddie’s voice ran on a loop through his head, saying that same line over and over, and Steve kept kicking himself for not having picked out a better outfit. After three pleading phone calls to Robin, she still steadfastly refused to do a couple’s costume with him.

“Why not?” Steve whined, as he dug around in his closet looking for alternatives to the Risky Business idea he had for the two of them.

“Because people will think we’re a couple,” Robin said flatly.

“Who gives a shit what they think?” Steve asked, even though the answer was probably still him, even if only a little bit.

“You’ll care when Eddie doesn’t flirt because he thinks you brought a girl to the shindig,” Robin had argued, quoting Eddie directly and shutting Steve up with ease.

When it dawned on him that he didn’t necessarily have to change his Risky Business concept entirely, just tweak the execution a little, he bounced on his heels in excitement and ran to get dressed. Or rather, undressed.

There were many ideas I had for Seven's costume.

He 100% goes trick or treating, except he just goes around scaring little kids,

While also stealing their candy in the process.

Like, he just sneaks up behind them right after they've left a house, and roars a Frankenstein-esque roar.

Forget the clowns of 2016, Seven is the one getting written about in news stations

Immediately gets a stomach ache after he eats the hundreds of candy he collected (stole, rather)

Like oh my god he is literally so gorgeous in this costume

His hair is gelled up and styled to one side, and he's wearing a sleek black suit

He's also wearing the iconic white mask

His pants have chains on them because just yes

Saeran wearing suits isn't an uncommon theme, and while Suit Saeran isn't exactly one of the best versions of himself, I think it'd still be cool if he incorporated chains in his POTO costume.

Okay maybe I'm really biased

As someone in a very similar boat cosplay wise I really understand where you are coming from. Its easy to want to not give a shit and try to just do what you want but that nagging feeling that you're just gonna get judged or compared to others and you can't do anything about it can really easily run your whole day.

But I wanna believe that if enough of us cosplay what we want within our own means and support each other it could be stronger than that. You only get one shot at each convention and regrets suck. Whatever you do I hope you have an excellent time.

YEAH 😭 i always wanna brush it off but especially since im Really New to conventions and havent really done any other big-attendance type outings before being around so many people and seeing all the technical skill and work on display can really make me feel like i shouldnt have even tried/ill just be made fun of for showing up in what ''looks like'' a ''cheap halloween costume'' even if i made it myself

i always try to like tell myself that the cosplay seen is just heavily dominated by people with years of experience and with the money/means/time to make these things because they do cons often/do it professionally, and when im really feeling like shit i usually go back and look at like, photos from conventions in the 90s/2000s back when cosplaying wasnt as heavily monetized/mainstream and just like. look at all the cosplayers in plastic wigs and off the rack clothes altered into video game clothing and remind myself that this is a hobby first and foremost and im not trying to win any awards or become a cosplay creator/influencer online, i just wanna dress up when i go to a con and maybe make someone happy. and when i see others in their homemade costumes or just in a wig or anything i myself even go omg how fun!!! and getting to see them have a fun time makes me happy and reminds me that this is what its meant to be about!! having fun!!!

i also try to remind myself of last year when i went in a pretty ''OKAY'' hythlodaeus cosplay with a lot of shortcuts due to money and it being my first time ever sewing an outfit (i only did toy sewing beforehand), i didnt consider it all that good, but when i went to the con a guy stopped me with a gasp and said ''oh my god, can i take your photo?", and after i struck a pose for him he told me I ''made his entire con experience'', so i just gotta remind myself that someone out there is going to love my costume whether they get brave enough to tell or not and that all that matters is im having FUN

we will rise up and win against the evil thoughts that we are not good enough and are cosplays are not good enough, because no matter what the best cosplay is always the one that we have the most fun in and it doesnt matter the amount of detail or effort put into it, its about the experiences we have while cosplaying and i just gotta remember that [throws my hands in the air]

when your daughter was a new born, she was so small she could rest her head on his arm like it was a pillow.

he’d be buying new clothes practically every week for her. 

he took the outfits VERY seriously. 

“i think this onesie would match the headband better, no?” 

he’d ask you to wake him up when your daughter wakes you up in the middle of the night, he doesn’t want to miss any of the moments, he doesn’t want to be uninvolved, and he wants you to rest.

he’d research for hours before buying any types of food for the baby and would tell you something new he learned.

one time you were using his phone and you saw “interesting facts about mothers” “childbirth facts” “facts about mothers and child relationship” “dangers of apple sauce” all in his search history.

grayson is funny but never shows it, but now with you, you best believe he’s cracking dad jokes all around the house because he’s a dad now (tell anyone this and he’ll deny it like crazy; he’s too serious for that).

since he loves photography, every corner of your house has pictures he took hung up.

during the newborn period, he’d literally take pictures of her every single day. 

he’d also take pictures of you two together, he wanted to cherish every moment because it goes by so fast.

ever since your daughter learned how to speak or ask for stuff, he’d get literally anything she wanted.

new dolls? of course.

a pony? paperwork done within the hour. 

new princess crown? on the way - yes it’s real.

he’d spend hours building her new dollhouses or whatever toys required it.

he’d be building the toys with his sleeves cuffed and his hair slightly messy, and unwavering focus. (dying at the thought of this)

he’d play princesses with your daughter whenever she asked, he’d literally drop anything for her.

one time you came into his office expecting to see him behind his desk and working. but you saw him sitting on the floor with his eyes closed and your daughter standing besides him, applying eyeshadow on him to the best of her 5 year old abilities.

he peeped one eye open to look at you and started smiling, to which your daughter said “dad! close your eyes!” 

“sorry,”he says with a small chuckle, and closes his eyes. “i just wanted to look at your beautiful mother,” and he opens one eye again.

“mommy!” you daughter was too focused on practicing her MUA skills on grayson she didn’t notice you walk in. 

she ran to you and hugged your legs, and you picked her up. she talked on and on about the makeup and ‘how the sparkles makes dad's eyes look shinier’

grayson was watching the whole interaction between you two with the most love-filled eyes in the world. 

he stood up and walked to you two, resting his hand on your back while you held your daughter.

you smiled at each other, and in that moment, he was thinking, “would 3 more kids be so bad?”

“how are my girls doing?” 

“i miss my favorite girls, how are you?” 

whenever he says something like that, it drives you sooo insane, in a good way obviously. it makes you want to have 3 more kids with him too. 

he spoils both of you like crazy, he literally cannot say no to your daughter.

that doesn’t mean he’s a bad parent though, he doesn’t enable bad behavior, and he rewards good behavior, and makes it known it's appreciated. he makes sure your daughter knows she’s loved every day. 

it’s his worst nightmare thinking the possibility that his daughter would grow up the same way he did, always feeling like you had to be perfect & never having anyone to confide to. he strives to be the parent he never had.

he’s like the most present father there could ever be, even on top of work.

on your daughter's 7th halloween, grayson agreed to dress up as prince charming while your daughter was cinderella. 

on her 8th, he dressed up as the big bad wolf and she was little red riding hood.

jameson and xander made fun of him for that one, but deep down they were so happy for him—happy that he’s happy.

grayson would leave work to go to all of your daughters school productions. 

nothing beat the way her face would light up when she spotted you two in the audience. 

well, maybe one thing.

when grayson watched you two with each other, just mother and daughter, love bouncing off of one another. he was watching the two halves of his heart.
