🎀Vector Childhood Headcanons🎀

He should have been diagnosed with Autism as a child 😔

He'd be the type of kid to wake up at 7 AM to watch his favorite cartoons. He'd know the time of each cartoon he liked and he'd prepare for episode airings.

He'd creep downstairs so he doesn't wake his dad. 😭😭😭

He liked Bubble Guppies, Spongebob, Fish-Hooks - Any sea life cartoon. He still likes them as an adult. (Secretly) - As an adult he probably complains about newer seasons of Spongebob but he watches them anyways.

His vision is really bad, he can't see at all without his glasses. When he was a kid he used to trip constantly over stuff constantly until he got his bifocals. He tried to wear contacts when he was a kid but he was scared and grossed out to the point he swore to never use them, all because someone told him once that it would get lost in his eye at school.

He definitely had braces as a kid (we were robbed of him with braces so let me wish 😔) He'd be the type of kid to lick and suck at the braces to get the spit out 😭 He would have had a lisp, people probably laughed at him.

He had a shark toy (as shown in the picture on his dads office table) when he was younger, so I feel like he'd take it everywhere. He probably brought the shark toy with him to school, and held it at recess and stuff.

When he was a kid, and he went to the beach with his dad, he'd usually collect shells and cool stuff he'd find out on the beach sand and shore. His dad would complain about him getting sand all over their vehicle and the house when he wanted to take them home but he'd refuse not to take them. He probably collected shells, shark teeth and little Coquinas and stuff.

He collects a bunch of shells and accidentally kills a bunch of sand fleas and stuff and then he CRIED so hard that he threw up😔.

I feel like his dad would make him a seafood dinner, and he eats it, and then when he found out it was sea food, he CRIED so hard that he threw up. 😭 When he was little he liked calamari but when his dad told him he got so sick. 😔

He would get into Nuh Uh - Yuh Huh arguements at school (He still does this to this day as an adult) - He'd correct people on grammar, facts, everything😭

"Actually,, it's saturn that's known for its rings, not Jupiter." then he gets into a nuh uh yuh huh argument.

The teacher would have to break up the argument because Vector as a kid would have been stubborn (He is still stubborn but it was way worse as a kid😭)

He would beg and cry for his dad to take him to the aquarium every birthday. The same exact Birthday gift. His dad would be like "We've been there for the past five years in a row" and Vectors on his knees like "PLEASSsEEEE!!! WE NEED TO GO!!" His dad won't say no bc it's his birthday gift.

As a kid his staple color was still Orange, but he often wore blue as well, as well as sea life shirts and clothes. He probably had shark PJs as a little kid. But as he got older he realized that Orange was a good branding color (and his favorite color😒) so he went all out with it.

I feel like late at night on a weekend he was watching a movie with his dad,and when he woke it auto played a deep sea documentary, he was about to turn it off but he was mesmerized by it and so slowly his interest in sea life just sky rocketed from there. Like he had a small interest in it already but it was a total accidental exposure and it became an entire personality trait. He probably had a pet gold fish as a kid. When his fish died his dad lied about it and got another fish until he couldn't keep lying anymore because Vector eventually found one dead😭

It was a traumatic experience for him.

I feel like as a kid his dad carried him a lot on his shoulders based on the picture in his office. Imagining his dad picking him up and carrying him around when Vectors too tired of walking his little feet🥺🥺🥺 Like at an amusement park or beach.

I feel like his dad tried to convince him that a fish wouldn't love him back and that he couldn't take it for walks or teach it tricks or anything but Vector was stubborn and only wanted marine pets.

When he was little, and he found out how hostile Dolphins can be, he felt as though his cartoons and movies lied to him. Ever since he's been an avid Dolphin actions spokesman, talking about how awful Dolphins can be.

More of my thoughts about possible interactions between Wild Knuckles and Dr. Nefario after the events of “The Rise Of Gru”

When Gru just brings Nefario to their team, Wild Knuckles distrusts him. Because Nefario worked for the Vicious Six, and originally Wild Knuckles was his boss, and then Belle Bottom became his new boss for obvious reasons. Nefario swears to Wild Knuckles that he didn't know they were plotting against him. But of course Wild Knuckles does not believe him and believes that Nefario simply kept silent about it, pretending that he is not in business.

So in the beginning, Wild Knuckles' attitude towards Nefario is on the edge of distaste. But Nefario is cunning, he knows that Wild Knuckles won't kill him because he is someone Gru sees as a good friend (and eventually a father figure), and Gru will be, to put it mildly, quite upset if his "personal scientist" is found in some alleyway with a bullet hole between his eyes. So Nefario just starts to show off maliciously every time Wild Knuckles reminds him that he has the motivation to kill him. But since Gru has no money, Wild Knuckles is the one who pays Nefario for working with him. So it turns out that there is such a vicious triangle, in which one member is constantly being on the metaphorically gunpoint.

But over time, of course, they grow stronger as a team, Wild Knuckles gradually ceases to threaten Nefario at any opportunity and begins to understand that he really did not know about Belle Bottom’s plans, and Nefario starts feeling on surer ground and begins to get impudent, gradually descending to jokingly calling Wild Knuckles an "old fart" and goofing around without any second thoughts. Which eventually leads to this post :)

Theory: what if Despicable Me and The Incredibles are set in the same universe, and the reason we never see any superheroes despite seeing many villains in Despicable Me and the Minions is because they're set in the time when superheroes were still illegal.

Caregiver Felonious Gru Headcanons (Despicable Me)

This is a little bit of a cheat since he’s not the movie’s actual villain, but I wanted to include him. :)

One of his favorite games to play with you is cops and robbers. One of you patrols the house while the other tries to steal certain objects - usually some of your toys.

Another favorite is dress-up; he has a lot of costumes and props.

His rhinoceros chair is unexpectedly comfy; one of the best in the house to curl up and nap.

The lab is a fascinating place to explore, but Gru is very strict about what you are and aren’t allowed to touch. Gotta be safe!

He is fascinated by space, and specifically the moon. He loves to drive you out of the city and have a space picnic - complete with telescope.

He also takes you to the carnival. He may not be a fan of the roller coasters, but he’s happy to join you on the calmer rides.

(And he will NOT tolerate any rigged games. They are completely unethical and he will give those cheaters a very stern talking-to… in the form of a laser.)

Once you get kicked out of the carnival, he’ll teach you how to make balloon animals.

He loves to tease you about monsters being under your bed or in your closet - and if you get legitimately afraid, he’ll help you hunt them.

He thinks most children’s books are garbage, so he writes his own all about you.

🎀 Vector Hyperfixation / Special Interests Headcanons 🎀

Marine Life -

He's extremely Hyperfixated on Marine Life. He will take every opportunity to talk about this subject even if the conversation is the smallest ounce related to it. From his youngest childhood moment's he's had an interest in the ocean and how unexplored it is.

He'd love to talk about deep sea gigantism, and he'd talk about the heights and sizes of the sea creatures and the pressure of the ocean. I feel like he'd be really into the titanic story. He would have followed that submarine crisis so heavily. He'd love to talk about the incredibly unsafe and engineering disaster it was. He'd participate in the eat the rich ideology despite being rich himself.

I feel like he'd want to steal the wreckage of the ship.

He'd also want to go down and take his own pictures of it. He loves the movie for it but would go on angry tangents about the door scene with rose and jack, and how it's not the size of the door its the buoyancy.

He'd probably really dislike Sea World. The only time he'd want to go is if he's sneaking in and it would be to steal an animal from it's containment and relocate it if it is fit for the wild.

From very young he's been interested in sharks in specific. He would love the Jaws movies, but he would claim to hate them. He'd watch them constantly just to yell about the fact it's a negative stereotype to shark's (He's seen the movie eight times that week.)

He'd be an adamant Dolphin hater (He wouldn't HATE hate them, but he would denounce them as a species. If you've ever met a Dolphin, you'd know that they're all assholes, he'd say.)

He'd be very fascinated with Megaladon's. He'd argue with people about their extinction.

I feel like he'd be really against littering in the ocean. He recycles all of his plastic.

I feel like if someone he knew was afraid of the ocean he would desperately try to help them not be afraid of it. (He wouldn't force them, but a lot of his ideal ideas of dates would include being around or deep sea ventures)

He wants to take his friend/partner to the titanic wreckage 😭 He thinks it's the most romantic and cool idea ever.

He's flown to Scotland to see if he could see the loch ness monster.

He'd be the type of guy to talk about how much little we as humans have explored the depths of the ocean compared to space.

Villainy -

Every since he was very little, he's always interested in villainy. Especially because of his fathers influence.

When he was younger, he used to fantasize about having a relationship similar to Scarlet Overkills relationship with her husband. He always wanted a partner in crime villain romance, however, he's been content with the idea that he would never get that.

He would be very interested in Frankie Fishlips (And minion from Megamind) 🤞

He would absolutely love villain con. He'd want to take his partner/friends there as a date/hang out session. Actually, anything villainy can be a substitute to the romantic or platonic hang out ideas he has with his Marine interests.

When he was little he wanted to work with other villains. As he got older he wanted to be a big villain of his own. He wants his name to be engraved in villain culture.

His dad probably had to go to villain con regularly for business. Vector would beg him to take him, and one year he decided to let him come. It was the best day of his life. He still claims it was one of the best days of his life. He was probably jumping for joy the entire ride there. He'd have been so fascinated with the smart villains he'd met there. The amount of science focused villains was really reassuring to him.

He joined a Anti-AVL group chat once and was just band wagoned everyone elses comments and ended up getting kicked out because he was too much of a suck up and begging for attention. He just shit on it way too much and even the haters of it found it annoying.

A villain called his name a nerdy name offhandedly and it struck a chord in his heart. He's never been able to appreciate his birth name the same.

He bought the I ❤ Evil mug at villain con. I bet he begged his dad to get it and he's had it for years. It's such an old mug but he keeps it in peak condition, it's his comfort mug. He was devastated when the moon broke it.

He really badly wants villain friends. He will interact with people at villaincon and at his dads bank, but most people find him overbearing.

Physics / Engineering / Mathematics / Chemistry -

He took Advanced Physics in senior year and he's the kind of guy to think math is fun and physics has a lot of math so he thinks physics is the best thing to have ever happened.

He took notes from villains in Villain Conventions when he was little on Engineering and what not to do when creating weapons.

He claims that it's enthralling and fascinating. If you get him talking about it, he will go on for hours and you will fall asleep. It's so boring.

I don't know jack shit about Physics but he would and he'd try desperately to tell us.

He has his multiplications memorized and he can do long division like a professional. If you give him a question (what's _ times _) 9/10 he'll be able to answer the question within 10 seconds. If you ask him how he knew so quick he'd give you a ten step process and he won't shut up.

He's the type of guy that if YOU don't know your times tables, he'd make it a fun game (for him its boring as hell) to learn the entire god damn sheet.

He'd be very good with fractions.

His inventions are made of recycled materials. He's big on recycling.

He was the kid that people asked to cheat off in High School / College (He would always snitch to the professor.)

One time he got sorted into a group project with a stranger and he helped them and they actually passed the university course because of him.

He does school work for fun even if it's not assigned to him. He'd sneak into other classes for extra work. He's done that.

He's the kid who would remind the teacher about the homework the teacher forgot about (He did it and he wants to show it to the teacher.) So maybe people were mad at him. He's been beat up for it before probably. He doesn't stop.

He'd know the entire Periodic Table song memorized. He'd think it's such a flex. He asks his partner / friend if they want to see a trick then he starts singing the song.

Gaming Consoles / Gaming -

He'd be very good at Baldis Basics.

He'd collect consoles, and be very intro retro / old games.

He prefers using the Wii, but he has several different consoles to choose from lying around.

He'd know a lot about the history of console production and how they were made.

He'd collect discontinued / faulty console's that are worth tons as well, despite it being recalled. He'd claim its a fun risk. He probably stole half of the ones he owns.

He'd know very obscure fun facts about video game lore and history.

He'd love Video Game based Movies (He would love Wreck It Ralph.) He'd claim King Candy is a real villain.

He's very competitive.

[HEADCANON/FAN THEORY]

The Incredibles, Monsters Vs. Aliens, Megamind and the Despicable Me series are all set in the same shared universe as each other.

This is something that I've been thinking about for a while just for fun and even though I can't find any clear connections, this is still a headcanon that I have and hopefully I can lay it out the best that I can for anyone who reads this.

I can perfectly see these movies all sharing the same 'verse as they surprisingly have quite a lot in common such as the following:

• All movies share the same visual aesthetic to them whether it'd be the animation style, character designs and slick, high-polished looks.

• All movies serve as a deconstruction albeit lovingly on the superhero, sci-fi, monster, supervillain, spy genres.

• All movies focus on unlikely, unexpected or unconventional main protagonists who go up against the odds while at the same time clearly growing as characters with clear defined arcs.

• All movies definitely share the same type of witty, almost cynical and dry senses of humor and banter the characters in them all have including a self-awareness of the specific genres they're in.

• All movies most certainly have villains who as goofy as they can get actually serve as actual genuine threats.

I even came up with a full timeline to map out how this universe goes from one to the other:

1965 - 1976: Both Minions and Minions: The Rise Of Gru happen which ultimately set everything in motion for this universe.

1977: An infant Megamind and Metro Man land on Earth after their planets are both destroyed.

1989: After multiple lawsuits kickstarted by Mr. Incredible, the ban on Supers is placed and all the heroes go into hiding.

2004: 15 years later, The Incredibles happen thus beginning a new, modern age of superheroism and supervillany.

2009: Monsters Vs. Aliens occur bringing attention to the many monsters that the U.S. Government have been hiding from us for decades.

2010: Megamind happens taking things in a completely unexpected turn as a villain becomes a hero.

2011 - 2013: The events of Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2 and Despicable Me 3 happen in a row and solidifies this new age as once again another villain changes sides.

Now all we have next is Despicable Me 4.

For the love of all things sacred, I hope that Suki having a hair isn't a sign of her actually being a bald villain donning a wig just to look feminine!

We got Spiker and Sponge from James & The Giant Peach (who are in no way good-looking at all) and Rapunzel from Shrek the Third.

I hope they're not secretly saving Suki to be next! Illumination, if she has to be revealed to be wearing a wig, at least have it be in a way where she still remains good!

Personally I don’t believe Suki is wearing a wig. Suki has a very unusual design within the Sing universe, but honestly I don’t believe it’s some kind of ‘secret message’ on Illumination’s part.

Illumination make simple films that follow the same formula. I’ve yet to watch an Illumination film that surprised me with the plot turns it took. I love all of Sing, Despicable Me, Super Mario, and Secret Life of Pets, but all of these films I could predict the plot from start to end. So it’s not exactly Illumination’s style to be building up a twist villain over a series of films. I guarantee Sing 3 will have a villain that is either established already (the return of Jimmy), or will have a new character who is the villain. My money is on the latter. If Suki is a “good guy” for all of Sing 2, then she will remain a “good guy” into Sing 3. Illumination keeps things simple.

Going back to the wig theory; I just don’t see it. A real saluki’s ears are super fluffy and kinda do look like hair:

I firmly believe Illumination just thought it’d be a nice design. Their ears already look like hair, and they wanted Suki to look beautiful, so they ran with the inspiration. That’s all. It’s just unfortunate that Illumination chose to not give her any ears at all instead of sticking with the “ears look like hair but are still ears” design (à la Lola Bunny).

I don’t think it’s a wig and I don’t think Suki is being set up to be a twist villain.

Today on "Weird Headcanons That Randomly Popped In My Head One Day Without Any Basis In Canon Or Might Even Go Against Canon And Refuse To Leave"

Lute has a massive crush on Molly. They might even be friends, they might have barely talked to each other, that doesn't really matter.

After "The Show Must Go On" Lute realizes that Angel is Molly's brother and now she lives in anxiety that Molly finds out about Lute calling him a crack-whore and argued about leaving him to rot in hell. Lute still doesn't believe sinners have the right to redeem themselves (and she may or may not be absolutely is in complete denial about Sir Pentious being ... well, Sir Pentious so she still doesn't really believe it to be possible.) However, she sure as hell isn't going to tell her crush about almost any of that. Lute does at one point tell Molly that Angel is working to improve himself, maybe because of alcohol, maybe to cheer Molly up, maybe because Emily is dragging her kicking and screaming down a redemption arc. Maybe Molly already knows, maybe she doesn't.

Either way, Lute finally gets a spot of guilty consience, because Molly very much isn't a fan of this situation. And the literally only thing Lute can think of to make it up to Molly is smearing Valentino across Pentagram City.
