erm ... draft of high school/ya designs for the rest of the cul de sac that i haven't sketched yet . nazz, jonny, jimmy, sarah specifically. i'll do the kankers soon maybe ? idk

some notes:

jonny: i really wanted jonny with cornrows/braids to work but it doesn't really align with my personal image of him so i did a test sketch and decided i didn't like it. his natural hair is just gonna flow. his shirt is a fela kuti shirt with the neckline cut off so it sits more loose, and i can honestly see him lounging in sweats and pj pants a lot. he def wears lots of bleach dyed shirts and muscle tanks imo. shoes could either be some of those sherpa lined ox blood red timbs or super beat up yellow slip on vans ... im undecided. he has some piercings and probably pulls a frank ocean and dyes his hair green and gets a buzz cut eventually too. i drew him with piercings but im not really a fan of how it turned out so im ignoring those. i personally hc jonny as aroace, just to mention

nazz: i have an hc or i guess just in my universe nazz is korean-american and dyes her hair like beabadoobee (platinum blonde with grown out roots) and maybe has some electric blue streaks in her hair. she has freckles and a septum piercing and bangle bracelets and wears chokers (i forgot to draw these tho oops). she likes bootcut jeans and halter tops... she def goes braless imo ik thats a weird hc but idk i think she's soooo early 2000s in lots of her lore so it mAkes sense. i wish i had drawn her less skinny, in my head she's more midsize and like pear shaped ig but with thinner forearms and calves. also want to note that her eye makeup is meant to be sharp and exaggerated ... i feel like looking back on this it looks like i made her eyes a very over-exaggerated almond shape but i didn't mean for them to come out that sharp i suppose

sarah: tallllllllllllllllllllllllll asf ! wears a lot of denim shorts and converse. i also think a lot of her little stylistic notes play off of nazz, i have a theory that nazz is like a big sister figure to her and she subconsciously picks up stuff that nazz does because she admires her so much (or nazz gives her stuff/shops with her! i like that better) for example the bangle bracelets, chokers, dark denim, choppy bangs yk. in my head sarah is always wearing chucks and she ofc has her big a$$ mouth. i think she gets braces too

jimmy: crack design bc i got tired but he gets that white boy fade and his ears pierced, skinny jeans and big hoodie, birkenstock boston clogs, probably wears his shirts fitted and cut just above his waist cuz he's a lil slimey like that. lost the headgear but still has braces and an expanded, maybe also got some sort of jaw surgery for his teeth cuz they were fawked

I might not manage to keep his facial features or my style consistent, but I always try to keep the high cheeckbones, a jawline sculpted by the gods themselves and the biggest puppy eyes I can manage to give him.

I have a lot of headcanons about Robbie's personal fashion sense and his face, and almost half of them have to do with his (lack of) impulse control.

I think that, above all, he wears what he thinks looks cool, but also that his idea of cool are things that make him look tough, and looking tough in his neighborhood is another way to survive because you want to disuade people of the idea that you are a possible target as much as you can. You want to look like someone you don't mess with, and that also affects the way you carry yourself i.e. his posture, his scowl. I think that for him it's mostly an unconscious thing, but he's not completely oblivious to it either.

I like to think that he got his white streak because a combination of early stress and genetics made him start sprouting a few gray hairs in that area that weren't very noticeable to begin with, but after someone made a comment about it he went "fuck it" and decided to dye the whole area white.

The gauged ears were another impulsive decision. He thought it looked cool and happened to have cash at the moment.

I think that if he could, he would definitely have a whole sleeve tattoo, but unfortunately tattoos are expensive. Piercings are cheaper, and I think that if he has the cash the moment he he has the impulse, I definitely see him getting more. I don't know why, but I could see him getting more ear piercings, specially in the cartilague, also probably an eyebrow piercing would suit him well and even a tongue piercing.

Will: shaggy curly blonde hair that gets more sun bleached in the summer months. A darker golden in the winter, but more angelic halo gold in the summer. Dark blue eyes with a golden heterochromatic center that looks like the sun's rays. A dimple in his right cheek. Once got an ear pierced by his older sister but never wears it. Relents and lets his younger sisters paint one (1) pinky nail gold. Tall and lanky, but stronger than he looks. Stylized sun tattoo in golden ink on his skin. Deeply tanned, but considerably paler in the winter. Long fingers perfect for ring wearing (he never does bc of the infirmary). Delicate looking features, but a boyish delicate. Clear laughter, thick southern accent, voice is slightly gravelly with a bit of vocal fry, but not too much.

Faceclaim I use for him in my head: Gavin Casalegno, specifically in "The Summer I Turned Pretty"

Kayla: ginger hair cut short into a mid length bob, homemade dyed green ends. Bright and clear blue eyes with a golden center like Will's (and all of the Apollo siblings) like the rays of the sun. Paler, but covered in tons of freckles. Muscular from archery training, could knock you out in one punch. User of claw clips to keep her hair out of her face in the infirmary. Doesn't really have an accent, but you can hear her Canadian accent slightly on certain words like "about". On the shorter side. Always has lots of bandages on her fingers from archery and cutting herself on her arrow fletchings.

Faceclaim I use for her: Sadie Sink

Austin: dark skin, warm brown eyes with the Apollo Kid Center. A higher thin voice, very New York accent. Lanky like Will, but won't be nearly as tall as him. Likes to wear gold rings on his fingers. Wears his hair in braids or locs most of the time, sometimes puts gold accessories in them. Still very childlike in his face since he's one of the youngest kids. The best posture in the cabin, can often be found with some musical instrument in hand.

Anteros: very lithe figure, almost delicate and breakable looking until he's yelling at you in the infirmary. Normally has brown hair, but currently dyes it a silver/white blonde. Piercing blue eyes with The Golden Center, flecks of green as well. Pierced nose on the left side, uses either a gold ring or a sun shaped stud. Enjoys painting his nails with his younger sisters. Higher voice, very Valley (Girl) boy California accent. Would not be caught dead without his Eyeliner. Obsessed with his daggers, is very dangerous, do not piss him off.

My faceclaim I use for him: Troye Sivan

Yan: semi canon. Athletic build, probably the "buffest" Apollo kid. Dark brown almost black eyes with a darker Golden Center. A gazillion piercings in his ears, his favorite being a dragon cuff. Probably will get a lip piercing. The emo kid people think Nico is. Longer shaggy black hair he keeps pulled back in a ponytail with loose bits hanging out. A smile that says "I have done something and you will never know what." Can be found with a leather jacket with a aroace flag lapel button. Enjoys morning runs because he's a masochist. Oldest in the cabin, but refused leadership because his English isn't perfect and Will had been there longer (he was claimed post Manhatten). Can be found swearing in 3 different Chinese dialects because no one can understand him.

My faceclaim I use: Minghao Xu

Melody: French Princess. No really. Long floaty blonde hair with an "Aurora curl" to it. Wears lots of bows and ribbons in her hair. Would not be caught dead without makeup on. Very delicate, regal gait. Was a ballerina and it shows. Has a very thick French accent and switches languages constantly when she forgets the English word for things. The world's biggest lesbian, loves her girlfriend very much. Very girlie, very sweet, Will kill you if you piss her off. Craves violence (jokingly... unless?) Dimples in both cheeks. Green and Blue eyes with The Golden Center. Smile that could blind a person. Very. Short. Pocket sized.

My faceclaim I use: Sabrina Carpenter

Sohee: the cutest baby angel you will ever see. The youngest camper in Apollo Cabin. Wears ribbons and bows in her long straight black hair. Light brown almond shaped eyes with The Golden Center, look almost amber in the sunlight. Dimples in the tops of her cheeks. Has never wanted a day in her life. Would be the last to die in a zombie apocalypse because everyone else would protect her. Brightest laughter you've ever heard, like tinkling bells. Has a slight Korean accent, but not super noticeable unless you're listening for it. Looks like she could be knocked over by a strong wind, but she will kick your ass even though she's ten. Freckles splashed across her nose, and a beauty mark under her left eye. Long eyelashes she bats to get her way.

Gracelynn "Gracie": semi canon. Cutie patootie little blondie. Looks the most related to Will. Pretty blue eyes with The Golden Center. Definitely has a Mormon raised mom and you can tell by the way she dresses. Her hair is more wavy than curly, but you can tell it WANTS to curl, but is too heavy. Always looks like she's about to take flight. Pale, but millions of freckles everywhere. Always has a blue headband in her hair. Permanent "I'm terrified" expression on her face. Evil witch giggle you can hear from a Mile Away and it is SCARY. Best swimmer in Apollo Cabin.

Tanned, big, brawny. Not like absolutely ripped. Idk why I always picture him with blonde hair for some reason. I'd also give him like a stubble (I tried drawing the fucker with a full beard but accidentally drew a certain fucking x men instead and immediately erased it), I picture him with a lot of scars as well. His head shape is more square and also strong jaw, I bet he kinda slouches too so bad posture. Wild shaggy hair that reaches his shoulder and green eyes. He has this droopy eyes that makes him look tired and straight brows so he looks tough in a sad way lmao. oh and maybe eyebags. Wears a winter coat with a tattered white shirt, black trousers and combat boots, idk why I rlly want him to wear a hat but I'm not sure what, maybe he ties his hair sometimes when hunting doe.

Twink. Just a slender dude. He's soft and squishy. Maybe to contrast it a little, he's a bit taller than average. ofc we know he has strawberry blonde hair and amber eyes (I think). Definitely more on soft boy. I've always pictured him with pale or fair skin. Low ponytail, no bangs, hair reaches to upper back, smooth and silky hair. Big, round, innocent eyes. I imagine when we go to a more corruption route, his eyes gets sultry and half-lidded quickly and maybe add a bit more muscle to his figure. I also picture him having something more deliberately messy like a wolfcut or layered hair. also I like the idea if he dyes the tip of his hair white for some reason. Straight posture but gets a little fruity when corrupted. Pure Syd wears a sweater vest, school blouse, a tie, long school trousers, and school shoes. Corrupt Syd wears an unbuttoned school blouse, long school trousers but I imagine he has those chain belts, and then combat boots (in winter, pure Syd wears peacoat but corrupt wears a hoodie n beanie) OH and ear piercings

Wet cat aesthetic. Slouches which makes him seem smaller than he already is. Green, wide-set eyes, looks scary as fuck if he staring at you in the dark. I wanna picture him having a bit of a chubby stomach bcs this fucker would suck at swimming and gym and also has a poor diet. Black wavy hair, looks fluffy and is short but it's so unevenly cut that it's obvious he cut it from frustration. Eyebags, some real dark circles. Gets sweaty easily so he always seem greasy even though he showers daily. In my playthrough, he's always set as dark skin so I picture having a cold, bronze colour. I find it so funny he carries a knife cause his clumsy ass would accidentally cut himself so some scars on his palms. I always see him wearing a hoodie, long trousers, and some normal school shoes. I think a game logo or somesort on hoodie would be a nice added detail bcs he goes to the arcade. Freckles :3. I always imagine he has some wild strength despite how he looks bcs he can carry PC to his house w ease and without getting caught like srsly idk how but the gap of it makes it attractive *twirls hair*

Hello I saw this just before I was going to go to sleep and then laid awake Thinking About It for the next 30 minutes so here I am!

Richie

He layers just as badly as in canon

So in my head it goes:

Long sleeved stripey T-shirt

then a graphic short tee on top (which eventually becomes a band T-shirt nearer then end of senior year when Steph joins the band! (And when I design the logo lmao))

THEN a zip up hoode

I'm not done

Then a leather jacket he found at a garage sale (it's slightly too big for him normally so it fits over everything else.)

Ripped jeans + belt chains

He has one of those goth belts with all the metal eyelets in it

Boots!! He has loads of different coloured laces he wears each day!!

And ofc he has his blue hair

He has his ears pierced too- he has these skeleton studs and they're all he wears.

Oh and the green and black bracelet Max eventually makes when he becomes the band's friend. It's tied onto his belt loops every morning.

Peter

Pretty similar to canon in my head

He takes off his suspenders and bowtie when they practice though (he feels safe then)

His hair is longer! He wears it in a man bun because it made him feel more masc before he came out to everyone (in middle school)

When he felt more comfortable (and after he came out) he decided to keep his hair long and the man bun just kind of stuck

He gets an undercut maybe? I can't decide in whether that's good or not.

He had LOADS of ear piercings (industrial, tragus, three on each lobe, conch, helix) but he's too scared to get facial ones somehow

He wears dangly earrings in his main lobe piercing

After he makes friends with Steph and stops wearing his suspenders+bowtie altogether he unbuttons and untucks his shirt during practice.

She's the one who commissions an artist to design the logo, and gets t-shirts made for each of them!!

She, and Ruth both get the logo put on leather jackets. Steph's is proper vintage and is more of a biker jacket though.

She tries to convince Richie and Peter to get ones too, but Richie doesn't want to damage his jacket and Peter refuses to wear one at all (he won't wear the shirt either)

Chapter 3 (Frozen Storm)

Helio stood up sharply from where he was crouched, staring at his terrified catch. The mer was big, tall, a strong looking fellow, with scars covering his body and the hook wound in his tail haphazardly bandaged up, as the ship landed at the swarming, busy dock. He gave the mer a gentle pat, ignoring his growl of protest, giving a backwards glance at the uneaten fish leaning on the side, as he left the cabin boy to watch him, although Helio severely doubted that the mer would be going anywhere anytime soon. He paused as he walked past a bottle of whisky, but stopped himself, reasoning that the figure would hold up its end of the deal soon, surely, walking out onto the main deck and examining the dock. Cornelius let out a soft hoot, circling down to land on his shoulder, the little owl pecking gently at his ear lobe.

”That capture seems to have cheered you right up Captain! Ready to head down to the market?” Sunny called up to him, waving. She was smiling, properly for once, the first time he had seen her smile like that in the past few months, and Helio couldn’t help but smile back at her warmly, jumping down from his place near the wheel and nodding. Cornelius perched on the railing, tilting his head as he gave the bird a gentle stroke, landing roughly on the dock as his boots clacked menacingly towards the dockmaster, the ferrety young woman seeming to shrink under the pirate’s gaze as his eyes flicked to the wanted poster with his face plastered on it, and back at her again, silently placing a gold coin on the deskbook before turning away, his beloved pet and Sunny in tow. He paused outside a coat shop, admiring a dark red coat, before hearing a familiar meaw at his feet, looking down at the little black and white cat.

He leaned down slightly, to give Nana a few gentle pets, before freezing, immediately realising that if Nana was here, then so was… “…Helio?” Orion spoke up from behind him, and he slowly stood, turning around to face his former husband. Helio winced slightly, upon seeing the scar that marked Orion’s cheek from where he had cut into him, and Orion only gave him a cold look, Nana wrapping around the smaller man’s legs and purring. Helio wanted to burst into tears, run and hug him, kiss him as if everything that had happened between them was all just one terrible dream, but couldn’t move, as Helio gave him a silent, observing look with those pink eyes that no longer held any of their former warmth for him, not anymore. “….You’re looking well..” Helio began, unsure what else to say other than a simple comment on his appearance, despite the scar, and the silver in his hair. Was that because of me? He wondered briefly, a glimmer of hope sparking in Helio, that perhaps Orion missed him just as much as he did.

“…That’s all?” Orion scoffed, “I ‘look well’, do I? I can see the way you’re looking at me, my hair. My scar. Don’t try to kid me Frostheart, I know you want the old, perfect little Orion back!” He mocked, his words piercing like eye into Helio, rendering him lost for words, before he was taken by a deep surge of rage. “Don’t tell me how I think-“ he started to move forward, before Sunny grabbed his arm to stop him, as Orion seemed to shift his weight, hand dangling just above his cutlass. “…Fuck off Helio, I don’t want to see you again. And if I do, I want it to be your head on a plate.” And with that, Orion stalked away, but not before throwing a box of hair dye at Helio’s chest, disappearing into the market with Nana following close behind.

Tears pinpricked at Orion’s eyes, shaking them away as he struggled to harden his heart, to match his former husbands, for they were now enemies.

Oh, it was no one in particular (Maybe a rival gang member if I were to specify…? Probably not his former creative partner Thea though. She’s not that violent haha..) (I haven’t thought of details of Thea and Edwin’s backstory in a long time now, and surface personality traits are hard to pin down without a backstory.)

The joke was that in the first scenario he was painting and in the second he was in pain because of the meme (?) that there’s “pain” in “painting” haha (I don’t believe painting/drawing has to inherently be a painful process though, or that only painful emotions make good art)

Also I wanted to draw him beaten up (either it was just for fun or I was maybe frustrated? Probably just for fun though.) I like drawing characters looking up defiantly even as they’re beaten up✨

Oh my god okay so last night I was thinking a LOT about Mickey experimenting with gender like!! There's so many things he always wanted to do and explore!! He always wanted to dye his hair and get piercings and the tongue piercing was his first drunken foray into "fuck it, Im gonna do what I damn well please"

Ian 100% goes with him to get the tongue piercing put back in, and Mickey gets his right ear pierced on the same day -- it hurts way less.

A few weeks later, Mickey gives in to Franny's longest standing request and let's her paint his nails. Next comes a little eyebrow piercing, then some highlights to his hair. He paints his nails a dark red instead of black. He gets his other ear pierced. He changes his tongue stud for something else. He lets his hair grow long enough for a lil ponytail.

One day, months into Mickey trying new things, Ian comes home to find Mickey locked in the bathroom.

He frowns, knocks gently. "you okay?"

"yeah," a beat, "no. I mean, yeah, I'm fine, but... I did something."

"... Something bad?"

"maybe?"

"okay," Ian says. "Do you wanna tell me?"

Hiii its so early for me rn but im gonna babble at you about how I've been doing (then probably pass out)

I got a partner recently (last month) and hes honestly been the best. He is so nice and fun to talk to and hes so doting and I adore him ♡♡♡ we have a lot of the same interests too which is amazing!

I made another friend in the same fandom. We dont talk as much but we still chat when we can. We plan to meet up one day when they roadtrip though! That will be fun!

Your voice resonated through the apartment but your kids seemed to not care about it.

Juri, your 7-year-old daughter and the eldest, grinned widely as she crouched down slightly to the height of her little brother, Junhyung. "Junnie, noona got you cream puffs!" She said.

The little boy, with eyes twinkling and cheeks chubby much like his dad at his age, looked at his older sister with much adoration.

As they both walked towards the dining table where Juri put the pastry box down, Hongjoong emerged from the bathroom with a sheepish grin. With a hand scratching the back of his head, Hongjoong carefully stalked to you, "heeeeey baby, back so soon? how was the market? You and Juri got cream puffs? What else did you got?"

Your eyes narrowed at him and your hands crossed in front of your chest, "don't try to change the topic, Kim Hongjoong, I need you to explain to me IN GREAT DETAILS about the thought process that led you to doing THAT to our- MY 4 year old baby!"

At the mention of him, Junhyung waddled to you with a cream puff in one hand and his other messing up his hair, "Mommy, white!" He squealed, showing off the striking white strands on the front quarter of the left side of his head. It was mostly dark brown with strands of white peeking from underneath to make it not so obvious.

"See? He likes it!" Hongjoong crouched down to the boy's height and patt his butt lightly, "go on, show mommy the thing you did," he urged.

Soon enough, your son had both his hands in the air, mimicking his dad's group's song, Guerrilla's dance by clumsily doing the head banging part.

If it weren't for the fact that Hongjoong had tried to reform his own son like he usually does with his jackets, bags, or shoes, you would've squealed and gushed on the boy. Juri was squealing and she soon enveloped her little brother in a tight hug, very much in love with how adorable he is. Junhyung was enjoying having his big sister showering him with so much affection.

You took a deep breath and exhaled sharply, "Hongjoong, he's 4! It's WAAAY too early for him to be experimenting with hair dye!" "Okay, baby, I know this looks bad, but-" "No! Joong, this is like when you took Juri out to get her second pair of piercings and now she's the only girl in first grade who could put on two pairs of earrings at once," you chewed on your bottom lip in anxiety.

Despite you voicing our your worries, Hongjoong laughed as he grabbed your arm to pull you into the bathroom with him. He took something from the side of the sink to show you, "Baby, it's just coloured hair gel! It'll wash off when we wash his hair!" he chuckled. Immediately, after knowing that the dye wasn't permanent, you let out the longest and sharpest exhale, making Hongjoong scrunch his nose and giggle. "Okay, thank god because I don't think I want our son to look like Anna in this year's Christmas picture. Last year's mullet was culture shock enough for my side of the family," you rambled out in relief.

Hongjoong raised an eyebrow at you, "Umm... First of all, Christmas is still like several holidays away. Second, Junhyung's mullet was adorable, what are you talking about?" he crossed his arms in defence. You rolled your eyes at him, knowing he forgot the call you both got from your parents, "Oh come on, Junhyung and Juri looked more like your Say My Name teaser photo than elves," you pointed out. "It's Christmas! No one said you have to be generic and bland and conforming! Plus, Atiny loves them," he retorted back.

You leaned back to take a peek of your two kids in the living room. Junhyung with his cream puff, watching his cartoon on the tv as Juri watched over him, making sure he doesn't make a mess. A grin bloomed on your face as you look at your two kids, "Yeah... Can't imagine why people wouldn't like them," you looked back to see Hongjoong wearing a similar expression on his face. "Junhyung still has to wash his hair later," you stated firmly before proceeding to walk away.

A choked gasp was heard and soon Hongjoong trailed after you, "No! Baby, let Junnie keep his hair for at least two days!" he whined. "I just washed his hair before putting the gel on, you're not gonna make the kid wash his hair again, are you?" he asked, batting his eyelashes at you.

The kids, hearing their father begged, ran over to grab your arms to beg with their father. "Mommy, nooooo!" Juri whined to you which prompted Junhyung to copy his older sister. Now you have a fully grown man (child) clinging onto you by your waist and two children on each of your arms, chanting how they want you to let Junhyung to keep his hair over the weekend.

While most days you love your children, times like this made you slightly regretting the fact that they also share their father's adorable genes.
