You know what mixture of AUs i havent seen here yet? Danny x Bruce with de-aged clones!

Bruce and danny are near the same age and meet pretty early in batman's career, maybe even before dick was adopted. Danny is a single dad of infant/toddler twins ellie and dante. (To make them young and at the same age, i imagine they were rescued after both taking serious damage and retreated to their cores, and remerged as newborns about the same time, but i also want to leave this open for others to flesh out.) Timeline-wise, that would probably make them somewhere around jason or tim's age.

So now we have an au where the bat kids are collected into a stable home where bruce and danny are also raising ellie and dante. Bruce is much closer to WFA characterization right from the get-go because danny would whip him into shape.

Tim probably gets adopted because one of the phantoms sniff him out, either living alone in the neighboring mansion, or following the bats and ghosts on patrol.

Talia either stole bruce's (and/or danny's) dna or drugged bruce (it didnt work on danny) to create damian. If bruce was drugged, danny is on a warpath and might even find and rescue damian at a much younger age.

Jason's timeline is the most difficult to predict, and i will forever simp halfa jason, so he's gotta die no matter what changes. I dont think that's terribly difficult because the joker specifically targeted him to lure him out (assuming i understand canon correctly - also this is definitely true in the UtRH animated movie canon). If jason isnt interested in finding his biomom in this au, joker will just find a different bait. Would be cool if danny is able to track down jason's ghost during the six-month down time and brings him home, and a potential point of angst if he revives without his memories as a ghost (and is lost for a while before danny tracks him down again.)

(Danny probably doesn't have the no-killing rule like bruce, so he'd have no qualms killing the joker and detaining/destroying his ghost. If not danny, then jazz would. Bruce conveniently looks the other way.)

Batman mythology in this universe is inexorably linked to phantom mythology. They both help each other out with vigilante stuff. Danny's team (sam/tucker/val/jazz) visit often and are considered aunts/uncle to the batkids. Batfam is highly liminal because they are part of danny's fraid. They might even develop liminal powers, if that's your kind of headcanon.

Danny may or may not be ghost king, but i like the idea that he's the crown prince and wont be coronated for several more decades. He's got time and all the resources that position affords him. Danny still gets hounded by the observants, but the batkids have made a game of pranking the annoying eyeballs.

Danny is a founding member of the justice league and of jld (the rest of his team might be as well). Batman is much more knowledgeable of the supernatural because of danny. I like the idea of constantine being more terrified of phantom than batman. He still gets called on for advice because he's the demonology and magic expert, while danny specializes more in ghosts and Realms technology.

Ellie and dante are not allowed to join the vigilante scene until they turn 12 (they managed to argue it down from 14), but because of their powers (and potentially retaining memories and experience) there are numerous occasions before then that they functioned as a sort of vigilante retrevial unit - zooming out and retrieving anyone who was injured or otherwise hit their emergency beacon and bringing them straight back to the cave. They might have even done this once or twice during justice league emergencies.

I'll leave their vigilante identities open to discussion, but im partial toward a really old drawing i remember seeing here on tumblr, someone designed a pink batsuit for ellie with exaggerated bat ears, and a sort of glider cloak that attached to her belt or her wrists to disguise her flight as gliding. (If someone knows the post im talking about, please leave a link so the artist can be credited!)

As for danny's old team...

Jazz works at arkham, helping to reform the place and causing many of batman's rogues to reform a bit earlier. She is the expert called in by the justice league to formulate ways to both detain and to help various rogues globally. She especially likes the flash because of the friendly attitude he has towards his own rogues.

Sam is a humanitarian. If she has plant powers, she's using them to establish food stability in poorer nations, helping the people there become more self-sustaining, as well as providing relief for disaster-stricken areas whose farms need to be completely rebuilt and regrown. Jazz introduces her to poison ivy, and the two end up joined at the hip, helping to reform ivy much earlier. (Would it be weird to make this au have sam x ivy and jazz x harley?)

Valerie probably stays in Amity Park to be its designated hero since danny moved out. If the fentons are good, she works alongside them as the fentons also develop tech for the justice league. If they arent, im gonna assume theyre the reason dante and ellie got de-aged, danny absconded with their cores to keep them safe, and the rest of team phantom descended on the fenton parents like hungry wolves. When the dust settled, valerie and her dad were left in charge of protecting amity and with ownership of fentonworks.

Tucker is a freelance hacker slash tech expert, and will kit out any vigilante's tech and security free of charge. His unique blend of magitech is very difficult to counter, making it all-the-more sought after. He probably helped set oracle up and maybe even trained/mentored barb to some extent.

There are lots of other potential changes, but ill stop here.

unsure if you’ve been asked this before but what is your character designing process?

i have already answered in this post (you can go read it if you want), though it's more jrwi based, so i feel like i can answer again! i doubt I'll end up saying something new but hwhatever who cares dhhdhd

obviously this isn't math, so there's no specific scheme i follow every time, and each design is different and it all varies heavily.

in general, when i start working on a design i already have *some* sort of idea in mind. normally not for the entirety of it, but some bits and pieces here and there that help me characterize the design in my head! i try to get those on the canvas first. they're like key points, and i most likely wont change them.

(and if i don't have an idea, i don't start drawing. and instead scroll through my gallery or pinterest in search of inspiration)

let's take my Gem's recent design as an example! i knew i wanted her to be a squirrel, and i already had squirrel scar and cub designs to base it off. so the key points were big pointy ears, curvy tail, claws. i also knew i wanted her clothing to look regal and floral, and reflect her main base. this is an idea that i haven't fully visualized, but i kept it in mind and knew in which direction i had to move.

after that comes the point where i start making stuff up 👍👍 i enjoy thinking my designs through and making them make sense in my head and be practical. so the process consists of me asking myself questions and then answering them in a design. with occasional "oh wouldn't that be cool" thrown into it.

continuing with gem. she needed to have her clothes be suited for a tail, so her underskirt splits in three parts to make it easier. i still wanted the design to be recognizable as gem and have it resemble her skin; so i kept the white sleeves, the green skirt, the corset. i wanted to make her and scar's designs match, so i changed the corset to green with this long piece of cloth but decided to change the patterns on it. because the brown from the corset was gone, i removed it from her shoes as well and made them black instead, so brown wasn't part of the color pallett anymore. i will introduce pink into the design later, so getting rid of one of the colors wasn't that big of a deal. plus, brown makes her look more down to earth, whereas i want her to look elegant and rich, so its a win/win. i wanted to keep her antlers, but obviously she's not a deer anymore, so i turned them into a crown and made it black to match the shoes. etc etc. i can ramble for three more hours about this hdgshsh.

well, that's how the well thought designs work.

sometimes it's just "im gonna draw all the things i think are fun and cute until i can't think of any" and there's no rhyme or reason to it. that's why things like "doc as a unicorn", one-off series designs, random concepts, aus exist!

sometimes its a "i have no idea what to do with it, so im gonna merge all the layers together and just keep fiddling with it until i figure it out", and that's exactly what happens. if i feel stuck with a design, merging it together and working with both line and color helps a ton, because it helps me to see the design as a whole and i dont have to divide my process and think of which parts im gonna do in color and which in line! recent example is hypno's design. here it is when i didn't know how to make it interesting and the final version:

(funnily enough i still like the first concept, the fact that all the clothes is the same color is quite tasty. but i know that if i needed to draw this design in the future, i would struggle with keeping the clothing layers separated and shading and all that stuff.)

visually i don't think there's much difference between how i design things (?), but the process varies and in my head they're all on like, different tiers.

general:

the sides work with a kind of cartoon logic (kinda like who framed Roger rabbit) which is what their shape shifting and such is, they can survive pretty much everything, dont bend to reality type thing

i also dig playing around with the idea that they just arent human, they dont need to eat, sleep, even breathe or blink if they dont wanna. They just play more human around thomas so they dont freak him out (everyone but remus at least, dude doesnt give a fuck lol) they all have their priorities regarding that kinda stuff. like logan doesnt eat or sleep almost at all (there r exceptions tho obvi (crofters))  while patton rly likes to cook and bake so why not eat the stuff you make? meanwhile remus eats literally anything he can find

they can also float if they wanna, same thing where they just dont around thomas. this came about me just imagining remus consistently floating around in the mindscape instead of walking for whatever reason? so yeah they can do that

theres a core mindscape and a ‘dark’ mindscape, that sorta works like the upside down from stranger things (as in the dark mindscape is like literally upside down and mirrors everything, like this)

everyones also got their own unique doors to their rooms. logans is very sleek and modern, pattons in more childlike and almost vintage, romans resemble castle doors while remus’ is more like a dungeons, virgils is typically angsty teenager with tons of posters and ‘keep out’ signs, and janus has tons of locks on his

design wise the core sides have straight teeth and fluffier hair while the dark sides have sharp teeth and rougher(?) hair (since changing, virgil has vampire-esque fangs)

logan:

square rimmed glasses

loves the rain

unintentionally fidgets with his clothes, always adjusting his glasses or rolling his sleeves up and down or messing with the buttons or his tie

playing more into the whole ‘sides dont have to eat thing’ he finds food kinda nasty lol, again only rly eats stuff thats very good to him (ultimate picky eater basically) patton has tried and failed many times to get logan to try and like new foods

roman was the one who got him to try crofters

watches those long ass video essays about random topics on youtube for background noise

patton:

round glasses and heart eyes

has roller blades/skates! specifically these ones that retract the wheels. good way of getting energy out (even if hes super clumsy with them)

tallest + dad bod

tons of bandages, kinda playing around with the phrase ‘broken heart’

him and janus play video games together (both of them are terrible lol)

definitely listens to dad rock/dad music

roman:

crown can float on its own (same w/ remus’)

him and remus dont share a room, but they have a sort of portal to each others rooms if that makes sense. a big mirror but instead of reflecting, its showing into the other room and only the twins can go thru

virgil:

decently tall but slouches a lot which hides it (slouching hes shorter than the twins but still taller than janus) also rarely stands or sits straight at all so it kinda shocked the core sides when he showed them how tall he rly was (queue roman being mad cuz hes actually the shortest of the main four lol)

has stereotypical emo hair and still has some purple dye in it

hot topic skeleton fingerless gloves and muddy sneakers (idk why it just feels right)

listens to metal music to calm down. remus got him into a lot of numetal, screamo kinda music when virgil was still one of the others, it was one of the few times theyd hang out and virgil wasnt 100% freaked out by remus

Your higherself is acknowledging that right now you’re feeling uncertain about what your passionate about, you feel a bit lost and disconnected maybe from what fires you up. It may feel you’re stuck in a stalemate with yourself, riddled with mental confusion, not sure what you’re really drawn to or what is an fleeting passion. You’re scared to make a descion to take inspired action because you’re stuck in your head, worried that you will choose the wrong thing. clairty is blocked keeping you in a state of uncertainty. If chakra healing resonates with you, then you may want to work on sacral chakra healing as well as crown chakra healing because those seem blocked at the moment. At a fundamental level, you feel blocked from taking inspired action and getting out of this mental stalemate because you’ve lost touch with your sensual, creative side. The empress to me is about reception, and in order to be in the energy of receiving, you must be connected and grounded into your body. This way, you can feel more connected to your own fire and be mentally prepared to take action without feeling unsure of yourself. Being connected to your senses and to your creativity, however creativity manifests for you, will help ground you and unblock you.

Your higherself is helping you establish a firm foundation in life so that you can stabilize your own footing and feel more comfortable taking action. In a way, your higher self is helping you build a stable infrastructure for your relationships, career progress, self identity so that you’re prepared for anything that comes at you in life.  Your higherself is helping you idenitfy the tools and resources that you already have infornt of you to design this life, to design the structure of your life. You might notice you will be evaluating your core beliefs and self percerption, your beliefs about romantic partnerships, compromise and friendships will be changing soon. This is your higher self trying to prepare you for a more stable foundation. Your higherself is trying to help you have what you need on a fundamental level to build successful relationships specifically.

what your higher self wants you to know about your current moment-

Your higherself is trying to tell you that everything is being illuminated for you plain and simple. Dont overcomplicate things, take the time to contemplate where youve been and where you want to go before you move forward. The two of wands and the 8 of cups together tells me that this process will include taking inventory of what you need to reject and walk away from so that you can direct your attention to future longterm goals. Your higher self wants you to know that these things that you need to walk away from are in plain sight, they are not hidden under subtle messages in dreams or deep within the fabric of your subconscious mind. The sun tells me that you’re already aware of what behaviors, people or attitudes are no longer sustainable for the long term goals you want to move towards. take the time to reflect on where you want to go and how you’re gonna leave behind old ways of thinking, behaving, any habits you want to leave behind as well. carrying these in to your future goals will be incompatible with where you want to go. 

what your higher self is helping you with-

‘‘never ending story’‘

your higherself is helping you release old stories, old stories of lack, self hatred, feeling inadequate etc. your higher self is trying to help you with your self criticism and typing up loose ends with any unnecessary drama or people in your life. As the 8 of cups said in the reading, you’re needing to leave behind something in order to fully embrace your long term goals. And im being shown here that this may actually have to do with self criticism, struggling to be kind to yourself, and possibly any people in your life that should have been gone along time ago. Youre dealing with old stories playing out in your life, and these old stories need to be left behind, reexamine your self beliefs and if they truly match up with what life you wanna create for yourself.

what your higherself wants you to know about the current moment-

‘‘7 of pentacles, 10 of wands, and strength’‘

 Your higherself wants you to know that your current efforts will not be for nothing, you will be successful, you will get though this period of waiting and you have the strength, spiritual and physical willpower to keep going. I feel like you’re just trying to get through a cycle, and you've been putting in the work and carried alot of burdens to do this. I see that you’re trying to achieve a sense of respect, courage, success, and something you've invested either in money or energy in has went through a change, and you’re just trying to stick it through to the end. some of you may have been in a leadership role or forced to assume a leadership role when this happened but not all of you. Regardless, alot of pressure has been put on your nervous system lately and your higherself wants you to know that you are strong enough to withstand the pressure. If you rely solely on your physical strength you will grow tired, lean on your spiritual or philosophical beliefs if you have them because that could provide an unending source of strength. You will get through this cycle and you will be stronger because of it.

your higherself is helping you by presenting opportunities for you to show your leadership skills, they are sending you opportunities' that will require you to be brave and take action. your higherself is trying to tell you that what you're experiencing right now is gonna help you be a more brave person in the future especially in social situations and when placed under pressure. Your higherself ultimately wants you to be confident, to be comfortable in the spotlight. And your higherself knows that in order to do this, you must take risks. So a more accurate representation of this card is to say your higherself is trying to help you take more risks.

rambling about headcanons, designs, and my process and stuff under the readmore, because i wanna talk about it but dont want the post to be super long !!

i had originally planned to not have a background and then at the last second i decided to speedrun drawing one in a few hours so um. quality difference but its fine. also unrelated but im pretty sure everything about how i draw animals and anthros makes it very obvious i used to be in the warrior cats fandom lol. anyway onto the designs!!

the gold on techno is scars from the totem at the execution, which i think is a pretty common thing for techno designs. he isnt supposed to be a piglin, but rather similar species of anthropomorphic pig. also his mane and tail fluff are naturally brown but he dyes them pink ^_^ so cool !! um. i maaayyy have forgotten the crown until i was way too far into the piece to add it. haha. oops. pretend its missing because. uuh. hes in a casual outfit. "but he still has the cape" yeah its comfy. "but dream has a mask thats not casual" dream is dream he does Not relax fully ever. see entirely intentional i would never make a mistake.

dream is an original shapeshifter species i came up with because i couldnt decide what i wanted him to be. i havent decided on a name for the species yet but i plan to make almost every solid-color or nearly solid color mcyt into this species. theyre mostly involuntary/unconscious shapeshifters. so like they change slowly over weeks or months to adapt to their surroundings, with little conscious control. basically i wanted him to be like five different things so i shoved them together lol, rabbit ears but in a pattern that looks like an axolotl, a cool tail, TOE BEANS tho you cant see them. this was actually the first time ive ever had a dream design im happy with so thats really nice.

i um. i made full use of my time lol, i spent a bit over a week on the lineart, another week on the coloring, and maybe a week and a half on rendering. unless i suddenly became shit at math(which is possible) that adds up to roughly the amount of time i had to work on it. im really proud of myself actually since i usually take a while to do art, and i wasnt sure i would be able to make something id be happy with in this amount of time. but i did! woah!! this was my first time participating in a fandom gift exchange and it was so fun, and also helped motivate me to draw more instead of getting distracted like i usually do (classic adhd moment) lol. anyway super cool!!

hello there dog!!! firstly, i just want too say im incredibly proud too see how far you have come, dialtown is so special too me, and for not only that game to be so loved, but also for you too be so involved in the community, is amazing keep up the great work! i do have a question, i am working on a theory pertaining to my favorite characters gingi/milton, and if i may, i have a couple questions about him specifically, if you don't mind of course :) 1. what made you come up with the design/personality of gingi?

2. what are your personal feelings/thoughts on gingi? are you satisficed with them as a character? or are there anything you wish you could change now? 3. this is a wierd one but, gingi generally does not really care what he looks like/what others think, so im really curious why hes so meticulous with making his phone/type head, and if he is so bent up about it, why not try to get someone like Oliver to make him a more proper one? instead of replacing the rotten flesh over and over

4. idk if you can answer this one, but i dont think it can hurt to try...was gingi around, before callum lost his mind?

if you cant answer this, then i have another, what flower would best represent gingi?

Milton question:

ok so....did Callum just straight up cheat on his Marla with Milt?...or am i mistaking something? what i read on the wiki says that milton and Callum had a romantic...fling?

2. did norm know milt? where they friends?

3. does mingus know at least some of the extent of miltons involvement with callum?

4. are there any plans with milton? he seems like such a cool character with crazy potential

1)Design for Gingi was primarily based on Frankenstein's aesthetic applied to a the chupacabra. Personality was largely ripped from quite a few unpublished stories/ideas I had before making DT. There's a few protagonists in other things I'd written as potential new game/story ideas that are eerily like Gingi.

2)I'm really really happy with Gingi as a character and I wouldn't change anything that I've established. I like how Gingi starts the game and changes by the end because it's pretty vast, but also not a complete change (and it happens very very gradually.)

TBH, outside of Gingi's interactions in DT, the fandom doesn't really know anything concrete about Gingi due to Gingi's poor memory. Until Gingi formed real human relationships, there was nothing to anchor to, just fragmented and barely remembered individual interactions. Honestly, the bigger picture is really interesting and I'm very happy with Gingi as a protagonist and I'd love to make sequels to DT as I've had concrete ideas for where the character would get up to in potential sequels for years now!

3)Gingi's flesh-head is a bit of a mystery. Gingi doesn't have the same adverse reaction to rotting things that most people do, but does have a general chip in its shoulder about being judged as lesser by others. Gingi (generally) does not make efforts to change its appearance to be seen as less repulsive by others, as we can plainly see from the fact Gingi often forgets (or refuses) to wear clothes.

4)I have all the main character date of births written down, so I could tell you Gingi's exact age... but it's more fun if I don't.

FOR MILT:

1)I'm not really sure why the wiki says that. There's no canon materials that state that Crown + Milt had an affair together. I think someone just read between the lines and stated their hunch as a fact.

2)Norm and Milt met but didn't know each other well. There was a cut mention of Milt in Norm's dialogue, but after a lot of head-scratching, felt the topic was too forced. Norm wouldn't have volunteered the information unless it was relevant to the scene and Gingi would not have asked.

3)Mingus knows about Milt, though not intimately. The only person alive during Mingus' lifetime who could've talked about Milt to her was her grandmother Marla, who was a husk of a person for Mingus' whole life (and in particular, talking about Milt would've hurt too much for her given their closeness.) Mingus knows about Milt from her obsessive study of her paw paw's presidency, but not much more than any historian/social studies teacher would. A lot of information I'd consider very important about Milt was never put to paper.

4)I'm not 100% sure why the fandom likes him as much as they do, given how little of him the fandom has seen (and how little information there is about him out there so far.) I just wanted a few references to him included in canon so I could potentially reveal more about him one day without fans wondering how this SUPER important character had never been mentioned. It's incredibly likely that I'll show more of Milt in future DT stuff due to how instrumental he was in Crown's decision-making + rise to power. There would be no practical way to expand on Crown without discussing Milt more.

There's a much bigger picture that the fandom hasn't seen much of that Milt is very important to, though it isn't often relevant to the modern day events of DT. Understanding Milt isn't important to understand DT itself, but is to understand both Crown and exactly how the world (and by extension, Dialtown itself) ended up exactly the way it did. And with time, I will discuss that some more.

hermitcraft s8 - idk i just wanted her to be a little goofy. llama everywhere, yknow. i tried to get a few of the swaggon colours in there just to be a little rad

empires s1 - i wanted to just, delete her dress. shes a jacked farmer and i wanted to get that across in the design. her design started up a little fatter, b/c i wanted all of my pearls to be visually distint, but i ended up giving that form to legacy (i had to scrap it b/c i didnt know enough about the series. so if you knw abt what she did there that would be super rad!!) anyway tank top, flowy clothes, etc. i really like the pointy crown though. and the warm colours w green i think worked out pretty well.

santa perla - oh yeah this lady right here. really inspired  by toh collector. i just. mmm moon face amirite. the rest is just pointy bits and shroud of light (kinda? insp by bdubs skin from empires crossover?)the part on the right comes from pixs santa perla statue !!! pointy wing beloved. aslo shes glowing. because magic and god and something

I've seen an anon on here ask people about killing the princess via strangulation... Tragically, I've been inspired.

This one goes out to you random anon! Thank you for the ideas, but now I've spent a lot of time on this.....

Major Cw for the following; Strangulation (obviously), Themes of emotional abuse and trauma, body horror art, descriptions of body horror, hospitals (mental and physical hospitals), Smoking, Alcohol, and the normal Cws for Slay the Princess.

Let's get into it!

Stranguled routes!

I dont have all of them planned yet, but the way this works so far is; you can strangle her with or without talking, both got different outcomes, three chances to back out of strangling the princess, those lead to different routes.

Both times the narrator drops the knife in the room at the second option to back out

If you strangle without talking, it's quick, after the third prompt she passes out, and then you stab her with the knife, she only gets a few words in, most of them insults, threats, or lies.

If you talk first, things get a bit more... Violent...

First, she tries to beg, if you keep going you end up distracted for a second and she gets away, second time she fights back and gets away trying to make a run for the door, if you do it again, you break her neck by mistake and then stab her through the heart.

The only routes I have ideas for (so far) are the end results and then back out the second time without talking

The brutalized: Strangle her to death after talking to her.

She's actually the only fanmade princess I got a design for (even if it is just concept art.) so far! I wanted her design to look visceral and gross without gore. Sorta like the Fury or Injured Wild but all skin. I also wanted to make it obvious she died but not have the how be easily figured out. I wanted those to see her without context to have a horrifying picture of what happened come to mind of how she got like this.

Hair pulled back and attached to a mound of flesh atop her scalp. Her dress is heavy, made of tumorous pulsating skin and fat that weighs her down. Arms long with large sharp hands that are hard to move delicately and with precision. Her crown is a piece of slightly rusted metal as sharp as a butcher knife on every side. Skin has grown in place of a mouth, but she can still make muffled screams. And most noticeable, a long, crooked neck, broken and bent in two places, distorted to to point it can't keep her head up straight. Every movement is paired with a sickening cracking noise impossible to ignore.

Just really fucked up in appearance and verbal description

Her voice is similar to standard no-knife princess, just slightly muffled and somewhat shakey with a very mild lisp.

She isn't mad at you. She isn't even upset she's dead. She's just... Confused... A little nervous and very very confused. She thought you two were getting along, that you and her were having a nice conversation. Why did you do this? What did she do? Can she make it up to you? Why did you talk to her if you just wanted her dead? Her last words were "Why?" and she wants that question answered...

She's chained to the wall, although the chain is long enough for her to get out the stair door of the old cabin. unfortunately for her, the basement is a long, long, stretching hallway with the door just bearly in her line of sight. The cabin is dark, and the floor is sticky, not like something had been spilled, but like something had been coming up from in between the floorboards. The walls were covered in dark mold that smelled of vomit. There is no table, instead, a pristine is stabbed perfectly in the corner right where the wall and floor meet. You can't help but notice that the foul substances that cover the interior of the cabin are much more prominent where the pristine blade stands.

The Breathless: Strangle her to death without talking to her.

When you enter the cabin you can hear rave music coming from the other room... What room? The party wasn't outside, and yet you still hear it from just beyond the walls? The blade is stabbed into the concrete wall just above a dumpster, duct tape outlines the pristine blade's makeshift shieth. The floor resembles the unsanitary ground of a big city back aile, trash and all. As you enter the basement the pungent smell of alcohol and cigarettes hits you like a brick.

Can you tell I'm proud of the breathless?

She's just exhausted. She wants to leave the cabin and meet people, experience life, and have a good time, she can hear the party just outside, yet the only thing she can indulge in is old beer and cigs she finds in in the crawl space (If she's lucky, She'll find an unopened\used one!).

Her voice is annoyed. Not at you but more at the world around her. You killed her without knowing her, she died at the hands of someone she didn't know the motivations of. Her words are slightly slurred and her voice is extremely scratchy and raspy like she'd never heard of water (or like she'd been strangled to death and coped by smoking and drinking.). She's also sarcastic as all hell.

Her hair is put into many braids, almost looking like dreadlocks. Face decorated with cheap mid-late 2000s makeup that's been smeared with time, sweat, and tears.

She's willing to chat. She'll offer you a smoke and a beer. and if you're willing to talk, she'll listen and only judge you occasionally.

Confession: She's heavily inspired by Buckshot Roulette! I've been obsessed with the aesthetics of that game and it ended up bleeding into Breathless's route

and lastly, for the routes I got stuff written for:

The Crybaby : Talk to her, strangle her, give up first chance you get.

I don't have the details smoothed out for her and her counter part, but here's a very brief summary of them:

Her cabin is a pediatrician waiting room with the basement being a padded cell filled with blankets and pillows. Her resembles a hospital gown covered in bandages and a large bow. she's terrified of you.

The benign: Strangle her without talking, give up first chance you get.

Her cabin is still undecided, but the basement is a normal doctor's office. She's wearing what appears to be a very oversized straight jacket with the sleeve ripped off at her elbows. She's basically just a self-proclaimed 'crackhead' who throws insults at you for what you did.

The voices you get.

I'm thinking cold for brutalized and stubborn for breathless. You kill her in cold blood with your bare hands despite knowing her. The narrator put the knife in arms reach, it would have been so much easier and convenient to take it and stab her but you stubbornly insisted on strangling. Crybaby has smitten, and Benign has cheated (Though I'm not 100% on that-)

And that's it for now! I love making fan versions of the princess, and I'm genuinely super proud of these 4! They're like my fictional, mentally ill, children and I love them all dearly. Please, Feel free to give me criticism and input cause I wanna make these creatures the best versions of themself I can!

Hellhound: *covers his mouth* Dude! Again, its Hellhound for now. I cant let anyone know yet!. *removes hand* Secondly, I know its late, but TNT is out due to a sore throat. We need a vocalist that won't rat us out to fans...

Dark Choco: *sighs* Fine. But you owe me.

HellHound: Thanks! *grins.* The guys are over there.

*HellHound leads him over to where TNT, ZZ Skull, and Mushy P were. ZZ Skull and TNT were stunned at seeing Choco, with Mushy P running over and hugging the reowned prince.*

Mushy P: Chocoo...!! *They said happily.*

ZZ Skull: Ummm... What's HE doing here?? I thought you said we werent allowed to tell anyone about us!

HellHound: Calm down, Z. I made the big guy promise to not tell anyone.

Dark Choco: A little. I used to sing a little war calls when I was younger.

Go tired of seeing "old hedgehog" designs of sonic and shadow with them just having greyed out quills and decided to do something about it

So yeah qpr sonadow (yeah shadow is 50+ fucking finally. Im considering giving him a cane. An asthetic or an actual one idk. Maybe both?)

Sonic grew his quills out (wanted a kind of longhair rockstar kinda hair thing idk if i achiebed i though. Also still unsure on what he'd wear so i just slapped on his sa2 beach costume and added sandals (and possibly socks).

(Oh and there a scar from the Mephiles blast on his stomach- as well as top surgery scars because of course he had top surgery its sonic)

(Oh and also the "old lady swagger" sonic is just him crossdessing/going lady mode because he always rocks the look )

Shadow styled/shortend his quills and i put him in a nice black collared sweater. He wears glasses because my guy has eye problems

(Btw. Im horrible at telling ppls ages so if they dont feel old then idk what to tell you guys i have no idea what aging is at this point)

Then, instead of simply making old yaoi i ended up getting obbessed (and happy) and started making everyone old

So next up was amy and Blaze. (Silver is here too)

I think theyre a little bit on the younger side of the old yaoi? I did consider the fact that some people age differently (some look older whilst others look younger) so Amy and Silver got the more "youthful-ish" complexion whilst Blaze and Espio got the more older one.

Thoughhh im still working on their design. I can always make older old lady Amy (now that i think about it i should 100% make Amy a granny looking buff woman because i feel like thats beautiful)

Either way amy and Blaze kept their uh.. "hair" short. Amy still wears supergirly clothes and Blaze wears more masculine type clothes nothing else.

Next is espilver

You cant sue me for making Silver a short king menace to society.

Not really much on design so far other than Silver is way more plump (pearshaped) now because life got better, and Espio is taller because what is he if not a tree?

So i call this the moreso young adult group with Tails, Charmy, Ray and Cream.

Tails (in college) and Charmy (not in college) obviously hang out and play videogames.

Cream, because when she was little she didnt get invited to fight deadlt monsters, grew up, and decided shes going to fight deadlt monsters. So i tried to make her a cool suit but idk.. it needs reworking cause the whole "secret agent" vibe works! But not the way i like.

Rouge is forever foxynand will continue to be the most attractive woman on planet earth no matter what age. Shes also still a meance to socitey and we will forever love the jewel thief (old) woman.

Knuckles doesnt cut his quills so those shits are LONG hes also old as well but idk what he'd wear

And yes Metal (also Chaos) is here too. Metal is a bit rusty (literally) but overall well kept and fancy. I think eggman would be dead by now, so i gave it a crown on its ears to symbolize how it took over i guess.

OKAY SHIPKIDS:

Blaze x Amy ( bio kid): Flare (was thinking "Spark" because of the love idea but idk yet)

Espio x Silver (bio-kid): Greybell

And then heres the fun part:

So Sonic and Shadow dont function like the others here, in that- while saving the world and whatnot, every so often they'd either find a kid following them (similarly to Amy and Tails back in the days) or save a kid during their whole adventure.

The first time this happened was just Luca (a black jaguar) who followed Sonic during one his little solo adventures and Sonic was like "do you have parents i can take u back too" and she was like "nah" so of course, after seriously looking for her parents through ppl with database accesses like tails and rouge, he was like "u wanna stay with me?" And Luca was like "YEAH!"

And then Sonic called Shadow like "Shadow do u want kids" and which he replied "what?" And then suddenly they adopted Luca. This is how it began.

Eventually, as one grew up, theyd find another, and then another and then well now they have like 11 kids in total.

Now, after ALL of this, they took a break and after that years worth of a break were like "wanna make a kid? Like for the challenge of having to that from scratch"

And sonic was like "what?"

So they hit up the labs and made a bio kid who is 2 months old and is the most hectic fucking thing theyve ever had to deal with so thanks for the prior 10 experinces (alas they do not compare to the mega menace)

As a fashoin fan, a splatoon fan, and a splatoon fashion fan, i gotta ask. What do you think pearl and marina would wear for their wedding

hmm, im definitely getting bonuses from the fact basically every other piece of off the hook's splatfest art has different outfits for them so its pretty easy to get a feel for what they'd go for. i think both pearl and marina are equally likely to either pick a dress or suit, but lets assume a dress for both of them.

marina is fairly easy, she has these absolutely adorable ways of putting her hair up in certain pictures, and her ears are pierced

so giving her a big, delicate gold earring and a cute updo around this style would be perfectly fitting for her. shes actually worn off the hook logo earrings before too! she is exactly the kind of person who would wear them to her actual wedding. fitting with an updo, she would probably wear a dress, and marina is.. pretty universally associated with tight-fitting dresses, at least on the torso.

however, with the wavyness of her hair and the general... vibe she would have for a wedding im really picturing a princess dress skirt for her, against all odds. something still elegant, but very very fluffy. sleeveless, probably. i could also see her with a tasteful, but obviously kind of.. industrial hair accessory, like a twist of thick wire. shed just go for the fairytale perfect wedding i know she would. shoes are basically an afterthought with that kind of dress, though i think these kind of strappy, cute sandals would be fun in a fancy style. she doesnt want to be even taller than pearl on their wedding..

she seems like the type to enjoy light patterns, so maybe some tasteful seaweed/comb jelly bioluninescence patterns on the skirt. id feel weird leaving her arms bare even though i dont think this look would need jewelry, so maybe she has dual corsages or something. ill sketch this later.

now. pearl is difficult. marina has the bonus of generally being well-put together and feminine in even casual photos, especially when compared to the squid sisters. meanwhile, pearl has a generally punk princess vibe, which doesnt translate well to a formal wedding. good thing this isnt one.

i do think she would make an effort to be classy, obviously, but most of her more dressed up looks are either still business casual or costumes

but we can work with this. an immediate idea i had was a crown with a veil on it, and she would go for that. one of my favorite more formal pearl looks is this one, for salty vs sweet popcorn

and i think it mirrors her current design for damp socks in a cute way, forgoing the more pop high collar for a more mature and gentle v-neckline with straps. in contrast to marina, i think she would have the more gentle silhouette in general, more flowing outward than a sudden ball gown puff, though it would be shorter (and much easier to dance in). of course, i think she would also have sheer ruffles all over to match with marina.

shoes are.. a toss-up? i'm going to throw a dart and say just... really nice white boots like these. maybe some tasteful but still very bold decals

or one of these simple clunky heel type things. but that would have to be iridescent in some way. give and take.

Color palettes are... tough. i think in splatoon white weddings wouldnt mean much, but maybe the palette of the shoes they designed in 2 could work very well as contrasts. pearl's pastel pinks, vermillion, and light teal with marina's turquoise, gold, and purple.

i think the palette would generally be tied together with light aqua though. they both look good in it

💧pure vanilla cookie : Because of his shepherd themes i really wanted to make him a sheep, i’m not the best at drawing horns but they’re also meant to resemble a crown :3 there is white lilies in this crown adorned with pearls for a certain someone i also drew a lot of embroidery on his capes to give him more a kingly look.

🪷 white lily cookie : While Pure Vanilla is a Sheep she is a goat, she has small goat horns but this plays into when she becomes Dark Enchantress they grow into those massive horns we know and love now! you cant see it on PV because his eyes are always closed but she has sheep eyes (heheheheh) I added more pearls and flowers to give her a more elegant mystical appearance and added the ribbon on the side of her dress for more of a cool silhouette and it’s pretty. + water droplets because she is a flower after all

Today I’m sharing a bind of a story I fully did not expect to love. I buddy read this with @hana-bob and we both thought it would be a “so bad it’s good” situation. The tags are bonkers and DARK. Imagine my surprise a few chapters in when I found myself loving it!

Lain Low by pherede is a story about Thranduil being captured and taken Under the Mountain. It has big Captive Prince vibes, honestly! The author’s writing style is incredible, even if she totally ignores the timelines. I definitely recommend checking the tags for triggers because there are a lot of them, but this is a story worth checking out!

The typeset was a lot of fun to work on! I used runes for the chapter headers (numbers corresponding to the letters of the alphabet). Please dont come at me. I know this probably isn’t an accepted numbering system, but I really wanted to find a way to make it work for this book! I wrapped the case with metallic book cloth in mink and an image of Thranduil’s crown is on the front. I created the art for the dust jacket using AI! I’m so happy with how it came out!

Her goal is to eventually set up some kind of shop to sell her work! Phys - His friends, corny I know. But it's true! He cares deeply about everyone around him and he tries his best to be as good a friend - and son - as he can. Aquila - She's always been passionate about her studies in general sciences and especially biology, although more recently her main focus has been Prosperity. She would do quite literally anything if it meant finishing the Preservation Project and ending the war. Cryo - Until the war she never really had any passions or interests, being queen is a rather dull occupation and doesn't leave much room for hobbies. Now all she cares for is expanding her army and keeping her kingdom safe, both of which she's doing a very good job at. Truth - Like Satellite, her passion is her art. She's been writing since she learnt how and it's been a major part of who she is for as long as she can remember. When she was younger she wanted to become a famous poet, but now all she wants is for others to enjoy her work.

3. Satellite - Leaving the Sea Kingdom was a big event in her life and I'd say living on land changed her outlook quite a bit. She's always been the spunky rebellious type though, there isn't one specific thing that caused that. Phys - Not a specific moment, but Alluring played a big part in shaping Phys' personality. He taught him to be the kind and understanding dragon he is now! Aquila - Her childhood isn't developed at all; as an adult though, going to live in Teratorn's manor changed her completely. Working for Teratorn fundamentally altered her outlook on life and made her who she is now. She'd always been... somewhat questionable, but he brought the worst out of her. Cryo - She isn't developed enough to give a good answer I'm afraid. Truth - The vase :)

11. Satellite - Nope Phys - His flower crowns are special to him for no particular reason. They just make him feel comfortable! He makes a new one with either Alluring or Star every time the last one dies. Aquila - She wears this sort of necklace and collar thing [that isn't depicted in any of her current artworks] that she values both for its immense monetary value and that it's a symbol of her status. She's rarely seen without it. Cryo - Her crown is an obvious answer, although to her her armour holds much more significance. Even if it's only ceremonial, it's still a symbol of her power and strength, which in Cryo's opinion is more valuable than any expensive accessory. Truth - I need to update her design, so I don't have an answer at the moment.

13. Satellite - She doesn't have any specific recurring dreams, although a common theme in a lot of her nightmares is losing the people close to her, usually either Lilypad or Bluefin. Phys - Nope! Aquila - She never remembers her dreams, which is probably a good thing. You can only imagine the sort of weird stuff going on in her mind. Cryo - She expectedly has a lot of recurring nightmares about losing either her kingdom or her family in the war. She tries not to let it phase her though. Truth - Pretty much the same as Satellite, although the theme is seeing her family rather than losing them.
